My husband and I went in today for a COVID-19 test. We were extremely disappointed at the way it was handled. We had to wait 3 hours. There were people being admitted to this facility that were coughing and sick. After testing negative we fear after being exposed to these people, we might test positive. If you dont have insurance, which we did have, this facility was charging $100.00 to get tested, when people can go to the Brunswick Health Department and get it free. While we were there, an ambulance pulled up to the back door to take someone out. Just so you know I wouldnt send my dog here!!!!!!!!!!
This place was great. I was traveling north alone with my dog and ended up with a bad case of vertigo. I was lying in my car in the parking lot not really able to move and was nervous about the corona virus. A woman (sorry to all the staff - I was so out of it, I don’t remember anyone’s name) came out to my car with a bag to vomit into and took my license and insurance card and said I could wait in car until a room was available (I didn’t want to sit in waiting room) or she could call me an ambulance. I waited and they got me in quickly. The doctor and nurse were great. Ran lots of tests, came me anti-nausea medicine and when it didn’t work, let me stay put until I felt better. They even found a pharmacy (Rainbow Drug) that would deliver the medicines right to urgent care. I still was pretty woozy when I left and the doctor was very caring and concerned; suggesting the emergency room since I was alone. I opted for the hotel next door — I would not suggest there - no masks by staff until I insisted and room wasn’t clean - and felt well enough to continue my trip the next day. Kudos to the whole team at ERgent Med. I’m not sure what I would have done without them!
This place is the absolute best! Nobody likes taking a visit to the doctor but the staff at the front desk at the Ergent Med in Brunswick is so friendly and outgoing that it makes a doctors visit a million times better. My son was out of his seizure medication and we couldn’t get in touch with his Neurologist so we went to Ergent Med to get a prescription sent in. They sent the prescription in and every single person we talked to was awesome! When we went to CVS to get the prescription filled they told us they hadn’t received the prescription yet so I called Ergent Med back and the ladies at the front desk said they would take care of it immediately. Within minutes the ladies at Ergent Med called me back and told me my prescription was ready and I could go pick it up. Basically what had happened was that CVS was just busy from COVID testing so they fed us a line of BS to try to make us go away for a while but that didn’t work because the awesome ladies at the Ergent Med front desk wasn’t having any of that nonsense and tightened them up. I wish I had gotten the names of everyone at the Ergent Med front desk to praise them by name but hopefully they one day read this because they know who they are and need to know that they are the best! Don’t waste your time at a miserable emergency room if your reason for visiting is something that Ergent Med can handle. If I could give more than five stars I would!
Exceptional facility with top-notch care! Our son became very ill while on vacation and needed immediate care. From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly, professional, and caring. The waiting & treatment rooms were comfortable and clean and we were seen within 10 min of arrival! The nurse and doctor were both compassionate and thorough. Overall, a very positive experience. I highly recommend it.
Came here to get a rapid covid test and had to wait over 3 hours for a 15 minute test. I kept being told I was next in line but I was not and there were quite a few people called back before me. Dont go here if youre trying to get a covid test unless you want to waste your whole day waiting. I was told to expect an hour and a half wait at the most. That is not at all what happened. I havent even had to wait this long at the ER.
They exemplify good medical care. I was suffering from chest pains and sought help. I was referred to the local hospital for examination. The staff was considerate and knowledgeable. They gave me a follow up call to check up on me after an Emergency room referral and care. This was special to me because I was from out of town in Brunswick on business and the follow up call made me feel like I had someone in town looking out for me.Thanks ERgent Med.
Came in on a Saturday around noon, after waiting for over 2 hours at another urgent care in Brunswick (ridiculous IMO). Staff was very pleasant and listened to my husbands complaints. We came in after seeing his GP on multiple occasions since December when he was diagnosed with pneumonia that has not cleared up after 15+ trips to see the GP. Dr at ERgent Med was appalled that our GP had not treated the illness anywhere near correctly. Gave him proper care in office and suggested followup appointment to be sure everything goes as planned with treatment. Cant say enough about the exceptional quality of care that he received. Even able to perform a chest x-ray on site without a hospital visit...cannot say enough good things about this place. A++++++++++++ Care in my book.
Never have gotten in and out in under 3 hrs and dont bother calling trying get help dont respond or takes days before hear anything if you call back too busy talk to you .After 3 days had to go in pay $90 to get my BP meds and blood work order so if you aint paying you get nothing but this will be the last time I guarentee .Prescription pusher going look elsewhere from now on . Now on 6 prescription pills each day incompetent at best .
Took wife the at 5:30 with difficulty breathing. Did not get seen by nurse until 8:00 and not released until 9:30. The ER would have been quicker. The prescriptions were sent to a pharmacy which had already closed because it was so late. So no antibiotics until the next day. The staff was nice AND SLOW. Wife is feeling better, but at a high price in time spent.
On the road and hurt my foot, so found ERgent Med-1 on my route and in-network for my insurance. Walked in and had a long wait (about an hour) which is fairly normal IMO, then ushered into a treatment room and waited another 15 minutes. The doctor was straight-forward and pleasant, did what I hope is a competent job in diagnosis (well see), and the office staff were nice, helpful and competent. I may end up going back for a cast, based on the pending MRI results. I would use them again.
Been over 8 days and I havent received my covid 19 test results back. Paid $100 to be out of work for over a week. And the paper states 3- 5 days results come back. Refuse to ever use this place again. Just go to the hospital. U should have results back the same day. This is ridiculous for people that dont want a handout from the government and actually work everyday for their kids.

I used to come here a lot when I couldnt get in with my primary physician. I chose this place because they were in network with my insurance. I all the suddenly got a huge bill in the mail when I knew I didnt owe them anything. Yet they claim the doctor was an out of net-work doctor. So I try to call to set up a payment plan. Which the minimum they take is 50.00 dollars a month. I told them I couldnt afford that and they refused to take any money less than that from me. And said they are sending my account to a collections agency.
Best experience ever! Brought my grandmother here and they were so detailed, ran every text, took xrays, did a breathing treatment...sent her home with a protocol to follow and scheduled a follow up appointment. Waited awhile, but was worth the wait! Will drive to Brunswick from the island any day to get the service we did from Doctor Cutia!
I was sick with vomiting and stomach pain. I was told vomiting 3x in 2 days wasnt much to worry about and that I should find another pcp. I went to the ER and one chest xray and blood test the ER diagnosed me with chronic Pancreatitis. I will never go back to ERgent Med
With two boys this place has been a second home the last two years. The staff is professional, caring and always takes exceptional care of our family. Im not sure why they would receive anything other than 5 stars. If there was more I would give it to them. Thank you to Jim, Courtney and the rest of the Ergent Med 1 team for all you do!!! Best place in Brunswick for any medical needs. If they were a primary care we would not go anywhere else!!
Involved in a minor accident but it never FEELS minor when its you. Daughter-in-law took me straight there to have me checked out. My way was minimal and I was treated with care and respect. They performed x-rays and due to one of my symptoms requested that I go to the hospital for a CT scan. It was such a good experience (if you can have one after an accident) that I inquired about primary care options there. I was told certainly, but lets get you feeling better from this and then you can call in to schedule an appointment. I will be doing just that.Selena Howells
Excellent service from receptionist to the practitioner. I don’t have insurance so urgent care facilities are my only option. I’ve been to many and this one is one of the best. Thank you for your professional and kind care.
Get ready, because you will always end up with a steroid shot at the end of your visit!Have a cold? SHOT! Running a fever? SHOT!Every single time I go I get a shot. It is clean and well maintained unlike some urgent care facilities.
Every body was very nice but I paid $100 copay to wait several hours and then be told to just give my 5 month old son some benadryl but no specific instructions even after asking. We then ended up going to the hospital ER with a severe reaction to penicillin and was told he should have received steroids in the first place.
My daughter cut her finger open on a razor and it would not stop bleeding. Took her to urgent med and payed $120 for them to dump peroxide on Her finger. They would not work with me on the price at all just told me that I did not have insurance and it was my fault. Which was a lie I did have insurance they would not take it. This is a great place to go get ripped off. Go to apple care dont waste your time.
They refused to do a rapid covid test unless I pay $100 even though I have insurance. They would rather me spread the virus than test me.
During this yr today was the 5th times I went there and They are (mean everybody) very kind,helpful and after a day with the medications I feel much better! Explain everything that I should know about my condition (English is not my first language) and make sure I understand everything. Beside I have never waited there longer then 30 minutes, I am blessed with Them :)

Went in the first time for respiratory infection they were very thorough and caring! I have been trying to get a GP in Brunswick since I moved here a year ago...... I think I have found that with this practice, thank you.

The medical professionals there seem to view their patients as patients instead of customers. The concern they expressed for my well being was genuine and unmistakable.
Went there 4 days ago. Almost ended up in hospital today. Turns out the antibiotics I was taking werent the right ones. If the antibiotics dont work.........you get worse.
Came super last minute and they were all so friendly and didn’t give me the death stare when i walked in at 6:50 lol. They were helpful and got me in and out in 20 minutes. Super thankful!!!!
Great and caring staff. Always given individual time and treatment. Sometimes the wait is a little long as they have become so popular. However, nothing compared to the SEGH.

Great location. Just off I-95 and a huge sign, so you dont miss it. Service was great. I was in and off in a little less than an hour. Staff was courtesy.

2022-04-14Very professional from front desk to the Doctors and nurses. Have had almost no medical issues in my life, but have had wonderful care the few times I have been for myself and husband. Dr Dave as we call him is so knowledgeable, responds with follow up immediately, if u leave a message someone calls you right back or as soon as possible. They also have X-ray capabilities, which is very helpful for treatment.

2022-01-25I’ve been here twice and both times have been a pleasant experience. ( besides how I’m feeling of course) The staff are very courteous, professional and friendly and the wait to be seen is pretty reasonable. I’ve never had to wait a really long time. The building is also clean and tidy. I highly recommend this practice!

2022-01-19After my primary care doctor moved to the 4th floor of the hospital at the beginning of covid, this clinic has become my primary care provider. Dr. David is awesome and actually prescribed tea with honey. 🥰Dr. Mitch has a great bedside manner and is great too. Hunter is my favorite nurse. All the office staff is exceptional and super kind. I pray they stay well as they are always super busy. Thank you for being awesome.

2022-04-14April 14 , 2022Though building looks a little tired,, the staff isTotally professional and friendly. My husband had a swollen foot with one toe so big, red and extremely sensitive. Waited three days before getting medical help. Dr. David Gill and assistant, Hunter diagnosed immediately.!Turns out a wood tick embedded itself between two toes and infection started. Not too long a wait, and doctor visit smooth and efficient. Follow up in a few days

2022-03-25I just left ERgent care on 341. I feel so much better just knowing whats wrong with me today. The total staff are awesome, friendly and caring. Ive been to 4 different Doctors this week including the ER. Todays visit went great. They took their time, listened, asked questions and did all the right test. I have pnemonia which is not a good thing but because of their staff I at least know whats wrong and am on the way to recovery. I trust and love their whole team. This is where I go for health care when Im sick or just for a checkup. Ive also been to their St.Simons office. Both are awesome. I trust them with all my health issues. Ive lived in Brunswick most of my life, love it hear as well as retired hear from our local Walmart. Thanks to ERgent for keeping me around to live another day and thanks for reading Terry Taylor.

2022-01-21I showed up first thing in the morning as I was instructed, sat in line for 30 minutes before a nurse came out and said they were not accepting insurance or anyone who was there for anything other than covid. Apparently they don’t care that someone could die from a bacterial skin infection but God forbid people don’t get their Covid test

2021-06-14Me and my family have had positive experiences at the Brunswick ERgent Med. Back when we all were having to be Covid tested, the staff did an excellent job with following up with us on the status of the tests. Any type of sickness or injury weve been to visit the clinic for, weve had good experiences with the staff. They are excellent with helping you with referrals if its more than they can treat on location. This isnt a typical Doc in a box. Some people say the wait is too long but compared to a trip to the ER its nothing. Id recommend ERgent Med to anyone.
