Extended Stay America - Atlanta - Duluth in other cities:
My husband and I stayed at this ESA location for a while and we really enjoyed it. It was peaceful and we had everything we needed in the room. The rooms are nice, spacious, cozy, and comfortable. The manager and assistant manager were very professional and always gave excellent customer service as well as the other staff members. We will definitely stay here again if we ever need a nice place to stay. Thanks for making our stay worthwhile.
It only gets two stars for the manager. We only needed to stay here because my Mom was recovering from surgery but this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.The customer service is non existent and it smells like smoke and its a non smoking hotel..I didnt feel safe at all..the location is not that great either the street is on a large highway of lower quality hotels..it takes too long to get fresh linen or anything really..We left at 5 am to make sure we were not charged for the next morning as we were having a concern with our payment and they tried to charge us twice..we offered to help them with the cleanliness of the place but they were not hiring for what we were looking for at the time..the towels were never folded in the bag and no one was ever at the front when you needed anything and no one ever left the front desk..the place felt like a time travel experience and a homeless shelter..we would have checked out sooner but we were so busy with our business we didnt realize how bad it was until were there longer..after calling to clarify the charge that we received one of the owners told us not to come back as if we ever need to stay at that chain of a hotel..Both of the ESAs on this street need to be renovated and modernized for the modern day..only stay here if you are desperate..the other ESA has better customer service but it also smells like weed..must be the only cliential the area can draw..no wonder the place is never sold out..lighting is bad inside and out..I couldnt even complete a mobile payment because the lighting was dim inside the room..the bed was a piece of wood and the fridge had unidentified items all over it..roaches were a uninvited guest..we had to give the room a deep clean before we ever laid our stuff down and others just got a refund or left..horrible stay and I have no need to stay and this overly outdated and ghetto establishment..
There is a lot of positives and negatives for this place. A positive is that the location is great. You don’t have to drive far to get to restaurants, groceries, etc. I found it having no bugs which is great and I stayed here for about 2 weeks. I give its safety a 3/5 as well. You have to be cautious, but it’s not super dangerous or anything. I will say it does smell like weed and cigarettes. I’m not sensitive to the smell, but I know some people are, so that’s something to consider. Also I was on the first floor and I felt like it was loud. I could hear dogs and doors slamming. That is my major complaint, because it would wake me up sometimes at night. The cleanliness is alright. I felt like a lot of their appliances are older and out of date. You have to bring dirty towels to the front desk and ask them for most things such as kitchen wear as well. Overall, it’s not an amazing hotel, but it isn’t too bad. Just a nice temporary place.
I stayed appropriately 30 days in July 2020. I will write some negative review which I experienced and hope these have been improved. I believe someone will reply but in reply, update is required if those problems have already been resolved for people who are considering. If this place had been good I would have extended another months staying here but I didn’t because I had so many frustrations there. For anyone who wants to use laundry, there are 4 washing machines but two of them were out of service. There are 6 dryers but 3 of them are out of service. I have been here for 30 days but nothing was never fixed. I think the manager is too lazy to figure out. Due to lack of machines, they were always full especially during weekends. For anyone who always wants to use ices, let me share that there is no ice machines here, which I don’t think is a problem. Front desk told they were not doing everyday housekeeping service due to pandemic but they would do it once in every two weeks. That makes sense and the policy was acceptable. However, nothing was done until 3rd week until I asked again. Before that I had asked when it would come but the answer from the frond desk was “I don’t know”. As I wrote above, I finally complained as they never followed their housekeeping policy. Then front desk finally arranged the housekeeping next day. I don’t think it was a front desk’s fault but apparently manager’s responsibility. For people who wants to know what it is like here, we have to bring towels to the front desk to replace, we also have to bring sheets and blanket to the front desk. Since no housekeeping service for about 3 weeks, I ended up with washing the toilet by myself because it seemed mold is grown. As soon as I checked in, I vacuumed the room by myself using my machine as I wanted to make the room as clean as possible. When I checked what was caught, I was upset as a lot of hairs which were apparently animals were seen. Please see attached picture. I understand some people brings their pets without permission and it’s hard for the hotel to notice. What I wanted to state is cleaning is not professional. Manager doesn’t supervise and educate. I passed the pack of the dust with animal hair at the front desk when I checked out. The front desk told me that manager would contact me. As you can imagine, I have never heard from the manager. Overall, front desk did their jobs but I felt management didn’t work well as there were a lot of issues which were left and the manager should have worked for. I hope everything has already been clear to be a better place.
I chose this place through Priceline and was very disappointed for a room that I paid $92 for and change , the guest service was very rude I walked into the building the lady at the front desk did not greet me just ask for my ID immediately there was one nice gentlemen working there, Ive seen bigger rooms at Motel 6 for half the price and cleaner , definitely the worst decision will not be staying there again matter fact I left early did not stay the whole night cuz I was so disappointed in the service and the room size and my microwave did not work and had to be replaced..felt very low class for what was charged .This place is not it
I had my car stolen from the parking lot, nobody cared. The manager said they would increase my rate from 50 to 58. The other lady said that this would happen in 3 months. Then, by accidentally asking, the manager told me that in 20 days (!) it would go to 73$ (!!!) and that I supposedly have received a notice (what notice). They are literally kicking you out because you cannot plan to move to an apartment that soon. Not to mention that you beg them to find towels and bed sheets available. Sure, they screw the vulnerable.
Its in a good area with a variety of food in the area. The staff is readily available 80% of the time. I wish the laundry room was free and that everything in the vending machine wasnt $1.50+. The rooms are very presentable besides a minor discrepancy that I had personally but it was a great stay.
It was OK, but felt very low end. I see a lot of people in their cars in middle of night. Also people place rocks in-between the back door entrances so others can come in later or have other guests come? Carpets were a bit dingy, but with pets that makes sense. Very unsafe. Had to wait a while for towels.Bed was comfy tho!
Me and my fiancé was here 3 nights ago, checked in at about 10:40 PM. They demanded payment first thing first instead of when checking out.We left about 30 minutes after checking in. The room smelled like cigarettes, there was hair (most likely pubic hair) entangled in the towels and the sheets. When we was leaving out, there was a roach by the fridge. Just disgusting. We requested a refund since we didn’t stay the whole night and was dissatisfied with the room, but they refused because they said our check out time in the system was 11 AM the next day (the check out time for the reservation) which was not the case because we left that same night of checking in. The lady at the desk didn’t even bother to put in the CORRECT check out time. She just took the key card and put in the system that we stayed the whole night when we absolutely did not stay in that nasty room.
Had an amazing stay. Walter and Randy are the sweetest. The front desk, cleaning ladies and maintenance guy were so helpful anytime I needed something. I loved waking up every morning being able to grab coffee and a muffin on my way out the door. Can’t beat free breakfast! I will be staying here again for sure!
I have stayed at this location several times for business (2 months) and personal purposes. The staff are always professional and helpful. The location is great and property is quiet and clean. My most recent stay (3 days) I left my Apple phone rapid charger I just paid $50 for at Verizon. I called the next day hoping it was turned in but it wasn’t. Front desk confirmed the room was cleaned but no charger was turned in.Having an very good property and front desk staff is great but attention may need to be placed on housecleaning’s integrity.Besides that, I will stay again and do recommend this property.
This is not the Hotel for me. I smelled marijuana in the halls and coming through the vents my entire stay. Microwave unsafe and no utensils in room you have to ask for them. They do not clean the rooms. The outside grounds are very clean. PLEASE ask questions before you pay. The entrance to the hotel is on VENTURE PARKWAY, There are 2 on this campus, we were at the second one. 3430 venture parkway.
Walter, The front desk associate was such a pleasant young man, very friendly and knowledgeable; moreover, extremely accommodating! I originally booked for two nights, but, ended up staying for about a week back in May 2020!Upon arriving to my (1st) room initially, the key card did not work properly; however, Walter politely escorted me up to check and found it indeed did not access entrance properly, and, quickly switched w/o any hesitation or reservation(s). He then politely escorted me a second time to the new room and the entrance to that room was a success and acceptance of key card went off w/o a hitch! With Any & ALL hotel rooms I reserve, I do a thorough cleaning top to bottom of EVERYTHING and I do mean EVERYTHING (Usually takes about 1 1/2 hours) and with this room it was the same but the room was already very well cleaned, besides minor dust bunnies that only I would find with the way I clean the area(s) within all hotel rooms. ESA room for the MOST part was clean well & properly stocked I don’t ever get into any hotel beds, because I bring my own WHITE bedding sheets & pillow cases, (which makes for a very peaceful nights sleep and confidence of not coming into contact with, “bed bugs!”) and used them on top of their bedding! All in all from the already pretty much cleanness of the room I WAS IN (325) to it’s location and comfort, and, last but not least the friendliness of staff (Walter more so, as he was my initial point of contact) my stay at this particular Extended Stay America was a great stay! The only thing I missed, was, their continental breakfast they use to provide, before Covid-19! Other than that, it was a great stay! Hot shower, clean room, comfortable bed, and, convenient kitchen set up!It’s been over a month, and I meant to write this review way before now, but, always better late than never! (Plus I just came across my stay receipt! 🤦🏽♀️)Here’s hoping your stays are just as pleasant as mines was, and the staff is still the same, if so, I’m sure it will be.)
Always a great stay I have been staying here since I left the army transitioning into my apartment. The associates are great. Customer service is great and the room is always great. Delores is the best gracious service every time. Heaven sent. I dont usually right reviews but she was so amazing I feel like she deserves the recongitiion for going above and beyond , to give great customer service. Stephanie made sure we were well taking care of and again went above and beyond this location is a hidden gem five stars is not enough.
When we came into our room it smelled of mildew. There was a trash bag tied around the smoke detector. Front desk less than helpful. No extra blankets. Shitty pillows. Even searched my bed after hearing in the lobby of bedbugs.... what’s the point of having a kitchenette if we can’t utilize it. Front desk denied us coffee filters because the lobby had coffee. I will not be staying here again.
At my arrival from Little Rock Arkansas to Duluth Georgia I decided to give extended stay a try. I was greeted by Ms. Melanie and Mr. Walter. Ms. Melanie was courteous, professional, and her quality customer service shined through. She was very resourceful about the and gave great information about the room reserved. Mr. Walter was attentive and gave great clear instructions on what to do for housekeeping and kitchen ware. They both made us feel welcome and always said If you need anything else give us a call we are glad to help. It made the difference for us to stay another week. Thanks to you both for your hospitality during our stay at Extended Stay.
I was extremely disappointed in the cleanliness of this hotel. My refrigerator didn’t work and I had food in there for 16 hrs before someone was able to assist us. My phone didn’t work, the ironing board was broken I had to iron off floor. Bath tub was stopped up and they gave me a plunger to use on my own. Blanket had stains and we had to make our own bed when brought to managers attention. The elevator floor was dirty my entire stay there. Need I say more. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!
The nicest cheap hotel . So, Ive read a lot of the reviews people have taken the time to write about this place. I stayed here for a night while in town for a concert and I must say. I dont agree with the negative reviews. The staff are very friendly and I could tell they were trying very hard to make the place better and awesome. Seriously, for the price? It was awesome. The best cheap/bad hotel Ive ever stayed. It was quiet and reasonably clean and well kept. One downside was that at the time I was there there was NO ice machine. Other than that? Great. I would stay there again and recommend it if youre looking for a cheap decent place to stay.
The best place (Hotel) i have stayed at. The staff and house keeping are the very best... I felt just like at home. Plus my room was very clean and spacious... Beds are comfy .. towels are clean and soft... Thank u staff and extended stay .. for making my stay the best... I recommend this hotel to every one .. ill drop by soon to say hello.
We arrived after a 32 hour drive from across the country, the front desk attendant was awesome and helped us check in early. After we got our luggage we went upstairs to our room and took a nap. Upon waking up 3 hours later we noticed the kitchen floor was flooded with water and investigated to find that the refrigerator was leaking. We brought this to the hotels attention and they told us that it would have to wait til Monday as it was Saturday and maintenance was not here. So we ask for some towels to soak up the water and they offer us a couple wash clothes. Then upon requesting some towels to shower since all of our towels were being used to soak up the water flooding the floor we were told that we can’t get any towels except for between the hours of 10am and 2pm and it has to be a 1:1 towel exchange. Finally as I got up to pee in the middle of the night I grab my cell phone as a means of lighting the way and I notice half a dozen roaches on my nightstand, 3 roaches on the TV stand, 2 roaches on the shower wall and various other roaches on the floor, crawling out of the AC unit and crawling on tables. I will now turn the lights off so the roaches come back out and I will take as many photos as I can and submit the proof and a complaint to the health department. We are only on night 2 of a 12 night stay.
The staff had very good customer service and was very professional. Not only was my room inexpensive but the staff (Ms Kathie and Mr Ricky) took VERY GOOD care of me. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and I appreciate it.The only complaint that I have is that there was no ice anywhere in the hotel. However I look forward to future stays here😊.
I was waiting for 1 and half hours because I have arrived before check-in time 3pm. But on 3pm, I couldn’t check-in because manager isn’t there. Lolol. I had to wait the manager until she is coming. i was waiting 10 mins more. And I had a reservation for 1 queen bed, but another agent said they didn’t have those bed. So I had to choose 2 full beds. also the wifi isnt working and not included breakfast. the tub is old and i cant check it is clean or not. the fan in bathroom is really too loud. they only serve body soap, face soap, and shampoo. it smells no good. i waste money. i will never come back again.
Great customer service! I was greeted by Ashley and she was very welcoming and helpful as I came into the hotel late into the evening. The room was clean. FYI there are two Extended Stay America Hotels. They are right next to each other. I ended up going to the wrong one but since they are next to each other it was much of commute. Just take note of which one youre going to.
Given that I was spending only $45 per night,I did not have high expectations. But Ive been very pleased with my stay so far (6 nights so far). The rooms have recently been renovated, and are very nice and clean. The staff has all been courteous and helpful. I even had to move the refrigerator to retrieve something, and it was clean behind there, too.
This hotel has been my home away from home. I have stayed here three years in a row, each time here months or more. The staff is kind and more than willing to assist in all needs. I was so happy to see that Mrs Mckissick & Kathie K. We’re still here. They greeted me like I was family. I decided to stay a few nights to make sure the hotels environment was the same as the previous years and to my surprise it was much better! The renovations are amazing and best of all, it’s smoke free!I just wanted to send this review because I’m here for the next here months and I’m more than pleased with this decision.
No breakfast. Regardless of Covid, for the price, they could provide wrapped options. Theyve already cut linen services. ESPECIALLY when you consider the extended stay had no dishes, no dish washer, no paper towels, and NO COFFEE....Like, the most basics, of basics. Just bothersome, but not as bothersome as the smell of weed on the first floor, and the constant stench of curry on the 3rd
The rooms were awesome. Very clean and tidy, nice and open with a couple of chairs and a table + counter to eat on and put stuff on. It was a disappointment to have to pay $15 for the two bed room, and the person at the counter wasnt too helpful. The breakfast was very simple, no cooking involved. Probably will find a different hotel next time to stay in if Im in the area again .
Upon arrival I was greeted by Ashley at the front desk who greatly exceeded my expectations on customer service, she was very polite, professional, and expedited my check in process. Upon traveling and experiencing a plethora of different lodgings I must say that this company should be grateful to have such a courteous and professional employee. Hotel is very spacious and clean, would recommend..
Ashley and Brittany was great. Wonderful customer service! Hotel allows pets and the room had a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, two cooktop burners, microwave, sink, toaster, plates, utensils, cabinets, etc. It all came in handy and kept the cost of eating out to a minimum. Room was clean and staff was friendly. Plenty of shopping within a 2 mile radius and a 35 minute drive to Atlanta during non rush hour. Sister hotel next door had a exercise room.
Walter and Randy at the front desk are extremely friendly and accommodating , as is all their staff . Rooms are spacious and clean . Wifi WORKS ! Definitely would recommend and refer all guests to this location , it’s why I keep coming back . They make it just like home here ☺️ .
Do not recommend at all it’s cheap because the service is very poor and the workers don’t communicate at all!! I stayed for a few days here and while there we never got our internet working they kept telling us they would let the manger know when she came in they never did I guess because we never got any internet. In the room we got smelled like pee around the beds and looked dirty like they didn’t try to clean stains everywhere! which made it worse also while we stayed there people kept opening our door multiple times I guess staff? once they gave our room to a man while we were in it just ridiculous!
The room was very clean, we were impressed with the set up of the room, it was like a studio apartment. The staff was very friendly. The only problem we had was the free so called breakfast. It was only got coffee, hot cocoa, & single packaged oatmeal. 😖😖Other than the breakfast, it was a super night stay. We are planning a vacation to Atlanta next year and was wondering where we were going to stay. Well problem solved.Extended Stay America
The location is hard to find because there is 2 hotels with the same name next to each other and not so much signs to identify both. The personnel was really rude not even to me but to other guests, very poor customer service. When I did my check in they didnt explain anything about the hotel, they dont explain there is no housekeeping unless you request for it and pay extra for it, as being an extended stay and the rooms have kitchens the hotel smells really bad. The room was not so clean, the sheets had some stains. The AC doesnt work really good so some of the nights when have it on heat the room was cold. Overall very bad expirience and dont recommend it at all. Not because is cheap and close to good hotels it means the hotel is good. :(
I stayed here for the weekend while visiting the area. All was great the room was clean a little out dated though. The water was very hot which I loved. It is close to any and everything you could need. At first all the staff was amazing. That all changed until Wilard was working the front desk this morning. I wanted to stay another day at this location but Wilard wasnt at the front desk he was hiding in the back room. Then when he finally decided to show up. I asked Wilard to extend my stay but Wilard didnt want to do Wilards job. Telling me Go and make my reservation again and come back later!. Which then I just walked to my room and gathered everything this customer service experience was sub par. And completely ruined the location for further visits.
Travelling for short business trip, please consider else where. I stayed three days. The room is average. The light breakfast advertised on their wbsite is none existance. Some guests smoke weed readily in the hallways and exit entrances. I stayed 1st floor. There was small dog running with her owner and barking freely throughout thursday night. The employee are more professional than Randy-manager. He was dismissive and argumentative. Employees were wearing company uniform, but he seemed rules dont apply to him. Crime always follow unrestricted weed smoking in established business setting. People loitering in the parkin lot day and night. For leisure and business trip, no. For extended stay, okay. Their guest relations line will not be answer. On hold for 2 hours. Good luck
NOT RECOMMENDED!!!Hotel overview....definitely needs overhaul. The room, linens, including towels need to be cleaner and everything seemed old and dingy. Our room even had a chair that was repaired with duct tape.Check in was simple and professional. The gentlemen that assisted with the check in was great. The sheets when we got to the room was not up to par with our idea of cleanliness and he came right up and changed the linens. However, the overnight staff was the complete opposite. The clerk was very rude, and unprofessional. I even heard the clerk express, to whom I am assuming was another guest, how she does not have time for that stuff , commenting on the issue we were having. We asked to speak to the manager, we were told the managers would get back to us as soon as he got in touch with the clerk, we never heard from him.Needless to say, what was suppose to be a 3 night stay turned into 1, only because we couldnt get a full refund.DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED, SAVE YOUR MONEY. LOOK FOR COUPONS/PROMOS FOR OTHER HOTELS TO SAVE MONEY.
I stayed at 3430 venture pkwy and the location is great thats the only good thing. There are roaches in the room, my son was playing on the floor and said to me there is a bug on the floor and it was a baby roach. Then as i was laying in bed another roach was crawling on ths cabinet. I will not stay here again nor recommend this particular hotel. They do not clean your room or make your bed daily. I stayed for 5days and housekeeping never made my bed or put fresh linen out. Also, the tub is back up and the bathroom smells like wet clothes.
Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Easy to add another day to your stay. But the reason I did 3 stars instead of 5 is because the breakfast is sketchy and isnt all that good and because the room smelled kinda like cigarette smoke and I don smoke so re constant worry that I would get charged for smoking in a room that I didnt smoke in was kinda scary.
I must first start out on a good note... the price was good and the customer service was great when i logged in. After getting in our room, the wifi wouldnt work, front desk was so nonchalant when o called. I also stated our tv wouldnt work. She stated she would put a work order in the morning, but were only here for one night. I do understand theyre busy, but at least TRY to show some kind of care or concern. Since I did pay, hoping to chill with wifi while watching tv. But all i get is NOTHING, since we couldnt connect to wifi or watch tv. Wasted almost $80 for nothing. I will leave my review every place I possibly can concerning my horrible experience.
Check in and check out was horrible. There was hardily any one at the front desk. The luggage cart was never available. Our room door wouldnt lock. SMH so we couldnt leave our things in the room unsecured. The front desk had to change our room because of this. Our last night there, one of the guests had a meth lab going. There were men in hazmat gear cleaning out the room and had to quarantine the room. The worse place Ive stayed at in a really long time.
The hotel is nicely kept and staff is friendly. Upon arrival the lock mechanism on my room door would not move causing difficulty getting in. The staff assisted and was able to get it fixed in the morning as i checked in late evening. They have a grab and go breakfast which is simply granola bars and muffins. Nice place to stay for business
Good hotel buttttttttttttttttt . Some of the employees are the worst. MANAGER PIA AND BRITTANY ARE LIKE POLICE OFFICERS. Very clean but sometimes it can be cleaner . The police come around a lot to check and patrol the area sometimes they can be harassing but overall the place is pretty decent, no roaches no bugs . Just fleas when they let customers come stay with pets. Other than that this place is pretty cool. A few other minor things but yea , what do you expect it’s a hotel... 🤣😂🤣😂
I had a bad experience the night I stayed there. the room and specially the kitchen make it seem comfortable but, but, there was a dirty underware laying down on the bathrooms floor and also in my other friends room there were blood eating bugs, and that wouldnt let my fellow fall asleep.
This hotel isn’t worth what you pay. When I first arrived I had the displeasure of one of the rudest staff personnel that you ever want to meet. My shower hose was hanging from a wire hanger. The towels were so filthy I had to ask housekeeping were they cleaning rags or what. The bathroom tile had red stains near the shower floor that looked like blood. The wi-fi is so slow that it took around 20 minutes to actually work, oh but guess what, you can pay an additional fee if you want it to be at a speed that you can actually use. I guess it beats nothing though. As you can see from the photos the complimentary on the go breakfast consist of granola bar and coffee lol, It’s been like this since I have been here,
The location was great from where we were at. The room was nice. It had a kitchen. The sign said pots and pans, etc. But it didnt have anything in there at all. The only service we received was from the front desk. The lady acted like she was agervated at everyone. She answered the phone like it put her out of her way. The paperwork was just too much. And when I noticed another person at the desk, she still was the same way. Apparently she was sitting at a desk or something in the room next to the desk and you could tell it was just too much for her to get up and help someone. She sis tend to fake a smile when she spoke with people.
For the price of around $100 per night i expected a little nicer. Read the low star reviews because they are accurate. I booked online because it clained to have a free CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. Upon entering found out it had a grap and go breakfast with coffee, plain oatmeal and granola bars i couldnt cancel as theres no cancelation policy. Fruit or something would be nice but its not like any continental breakfast ive ever seen. When i entered my room around 8pm, it was ridiculously cold..... both windows were wide open i assume by the house keeper who cleaned it, although they did a terrible job vacuuming and wiping down. It was still dirty. The table i ate my meal i brought was literally being held up by a few wood screws and legs that were added to the table. The table actually leans sideways and is super wobbly/unstable. You can see where its been half way repaired numerous times. The one thing i will say was nice to see was that the young lady working the front last night was very nice. The hallway infront of my room stunk of marijuana. She quickly came upstairs and noticed it and began figuring out where it was coming from as theres a no smoking policy. I feel if maintenance was being done properly and they corrected there wording issues on websites for there breakfast, this could be a decent hotel for the money.
The water bottles in the vending machine were sold out. I have asked the front desk for couple of times about it but the one at the front desk says he has no water to give or at least to fill the machine. He asked me to get the water from the next door in very rude way. There was no water wall mount available inside the hotel.I really dont understand how this hotel has 3.+ reviews.
I am sickened by this hotel. I have to be here for 5 days, when I told the man at thre front desk the room stinks, he did nothing about it. The room has a seriously disgusting smell and the smoke detector was covered with a bag, leading me to believe someone previously smoked in the room. If my company wasnt the one paying for the hotel Id leave without a 2nd thought. Worse hotel Ive been to out of the 15 states Ive been to work in!!
Before we arrived, the man who was answering the phones whispered the entire time we spoke to him. We had to ask him to speak louder. It was almost as if he was nervous. We finally got in to our rooms and there was Marijuana in one room, cockroaches in another, hairs all over our towels and sheets, the furniture was broken. The front desk was always empty and huge lines. Beer cans in the stairwells, supposed to smoke free and the whole place smelled like smoke. The worst place we have every stayed. It was disgusting.
Dirty bed sheets, dirty kitchen, dirty floor. Also, bed bugs. We info to the front desk at midnight, and she only give is 2 clean bed sheets, but never was interested in check whats happening in the room, very disappointed. Also, the manager assistant called me at 7:45 am on Sunday. Manda huevo!
I typically have grace with hotels when traveling because I realize that it is impossible to please every visitor. However, this hotel is the bottom of the barrrel. It was HORRIBLE.There was a substance growing on the bathroom mirror, which I assumed to be mold. The carpet in the hallway smelled horribly, and the carpet in the room was torn and frayed. The blanket smelled like cough syrup and it obviously hadnt been washed. The worst part of the stay was requesting anything from the front desk. We asked a rude emplpyee named Kathie for a coffee maker and cups. With an attitude, she supplied these items in a plastic container. When we asked for coffee, she commented Youre pushing it. ---I didnt know it would be an issue to ask for coffee- which SHOULD have accompanied the coffee pot to begin with. I also didnt know it was okay to speak to guests in that manner. When we asked Kathie where the ice maker was, she chuckled and replied We dont have one. This facility also lacked ice trays to make your own ice. Never have I been to a hotel without a coffee maker and ice, but I dismissed my irritation to go to the room and enjoy my coffee. Once I arrived there, I noticed that the coffee maker was dirty from previous use and the silverware and cups in the plastic container were spotty as well----including the plastic spoon that was obviously misplaced among the real silverware. There were SO many issues with this place, but the bigger issue is the lack of professionalism among staff. I will NEVER stay there again and i wouldnt suggest this place to anyone.
This place is very horrible. Constant cigarette smoke, I have a kid with me and it make him cough. It also makes my husband cough. I really regret coming here. Spoke with the front desk and there was nothing they can do. They should be able to transfer guest to another hotel who complains about the smell. It is really bad here.
Clean room with kitchenette. No pots, pans, utensils, cups plates, and NO COFFEE AND COFFEE POT in the room. You gotta go down to the front desk to get it yourself. No housekeeping to bring clean towels... Gotta get it yourself. Want extra pillows? Yep, get it yourself! I could hear the people above me walking and they probably heard me talking..lol. Its cool if you are on a tight budget and need a room for the night; however you get what you pay for. Would I come back? Probably not 😒
Rooms were clean, service was good at the front desk. Used the bathroom the first time in the room I got and the toilet overflowed. I called down to the desk and the told me where to find a plunger in a janitors closet and if I needed more towels I could come get them. I thought this was extremely unprofessional. Im a paying guest, I dont feel I need to be the plumber.
I attempted to rent a room on July 24, 2019, on which day the room to which I was assigned did not have hot water running in the shower. I have called guest services many many times about this issue beginning on July 24, 2019 when I discovered that there was NO HOT WATER. On July 24, 2019 I was instructed by guest services to call the front desk and let them know. I called and called and there was no answer. I then went downstairs to speak to someone at the front desk . Upon going downstairs on July 24, 2019, there was a LOBBY FULL OF PEOPLE and NO ONE behind the front desk. I waited approximately 45 minutes with other guest who told me that there hadnt been anyone behind the desk for quite some time. After waiting and having no one return, I decided to leave because I desperately needed to get out of my work clothes, take a shower and get some rest. I have been charged $76.81 for a stay that I was unable to complete due to no fault of my own and I would like this refunded back to me.
Great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. Great central location for this part of Atlanta. The toilet would get clogged over nothing but easily fixed and that was the only con. I have stayed here previously and had not cons to say. I will stay here again.
When I arrived at Extended Stay America in Duluth, GA, I initially went to the wrong building, needless to say I was exhausted from staying at a (I will not mention the name of the motel we stayed at the night before and I didnt sleep at all) unmentionable motel the night before checking in. I waited in a line for over 30 minutes before I was told that I was at the wrong hotel. I arrived at Extended Stay on 3430 Venture Parkway and checked in at 2:00 p.m. (which was authorized that morning at 3:00 a.m.). When I arrived at my room, it was not cleaned yet. I was tired and was very upset, I returned to the front desk and spoke with Ashley, who checed us in. I raised my voice and was very unpleasant (to say the least), I continued to apologize to Ashley, however I was very upset. I must say that Ashley was 100% professional, she stayed calm, had a genuine smile on her face and was very professional. Ashley immediately got another room for us and she never batted an eye. I must say that I have worked in customer service for over 30 years and I can`t say that I would have remained calm and cool as Ashley did. She is absolutely 100% customer service oriented and a very professional customer service employee under pressure. Ashley deserves a raise in my opinion. She is absolutely a diamond in the rough and deserves a raise. I have never been treated the way Ashley treated me after Inwas so rude. She is an absolute wonderful customer service representative. I have apologized to her every time I have seen her and she is always happy and smiling. This is one person that you do not want to leave! Shes wonderful! Thank you Ashley!
We got an Express Deal from Priceline that put us here. Traveling with my wife and two young kids, we figured the worst that could happen would be we get a King bed instead of two Doubles or Queens, so the 2yo could sleep in the pack and play and we could let our 4yo sleep with us. Upon check-in, we had one bed in the room, a Queen. We asked for a cot -- no cots. We asked for a roll away -- no roll away. We asked for a crib -- no crib. Turns out the identical Extended Stay America next door was the Deluxe hotel with those amenities. So my poor son slept in a chair. Oh well, what did I expect for $45. Also their breakfast sucks. No juice, no milk. Just coffee, tea, oatmeal, and bars. Welp.
This place is the epitome of false advertising. Picture looks great -reality is ghetto, definitely drugs on property, not family or single petson traveling alone oriented. I was booked there and refused to stay as I didnt feel safe to even get out of my car. I did get out and was overwhelmed by the smell of pot. Take it from a road warrior who travels for a living enter at your own risk!
The location is great, its close to restaurants and grocery shopping. The staff is amazing especially Jenay (I think I spelled that correctly). I never have a issue when I am in need of something from extra dishes to swapping out my dirty linens. They are friendly and knowledgeable of the area and can answer the correct questions. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the gwinnett area.
My stay here was great , Mr . Mace made sure my every question got answered. When I asked About great places to eat he told me about some awesome places . Mary Mack’s is the place to go . Thank you Mr, Mace for making my stay great . Will definitely stay here again .
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! ITS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY. DO NOT MIND THE CHEAPNESS ITs not worth it! I AM DEAD SERIOUS! EVERYTHING IS OLD, SMELLY, AND JUST HORRIBLE! Oh, they did not even mention the beds were TWIN BEDS. NOT QUEENS. My husband and I had to sleep on this toddle side bed. My Family and I had a HORRIBLE experience. We stay for 5 nights. From 8/23/17 -8/28/17. We did not get ANY housekeeping. They did not take out the trash nor change our linens for our entire stay. We had to take our dirty towers down to exchange for clean ones. I have NEVER experience such thing at any hotel. The staff were very rude as well. The refrigerator door was broken. I called to get it fix, no one came. I would rather not give them the one star I give them. But the only way am able to post this review, is to give a star that they dont even deserve. BURN THIS PLACE DOWN AND BUILD A NEW HOTEL!
Nice rooms I was pleasantly surprised the hotel that I was booked for we still need an extra rooms so I went to the hotel behind us which happened to be this one and it was a great experience they have a full kitchen but the room itself was really clean and nice the bathroom was really clean
ROACHES.My party arrived around 1am, went to bed, woke up to find we quite literally had roaches in the room, complained, were offered a second room which upon inspection still had bugs. We cut our stay short and left, and were not refunded for that night.Absolutely would not stay there again.
No stars we found bed bugs in our room the bed spread had not been changed there was a cigarette burn going All the way from the comforter to the matress when we notified the people at the front desk of the bed bug situation the woman said I know.... They gave us our money back but still something is off about the whole hotel!
Well let me tell you do not believe in the pictures the place was a mess I paid $340 to stay at this place I get my room I get upstairs and the rooms a mess I say room because I had to change rooms the rug was torn missing patches like it had fleas or something there the kitchen counter was crack Staind up the fire detector was hanging from the ceiling now if Im smoking which I am a smoker cuz it was a smoking room how the hell do I know if thats working if I actually start a fire in a damn room they didnt even attempt to accommodate anything it was a long drive from where I came from so I had no choice to stay the funny thing about it the lady asked me how was your stay I replied back it was terrible I will never come back here again and the review I will write is not going to be nice so if you think of staying at this place please it is not worth it if you were coming in for a night thats about it but to stay for the week like I did was horrible Extended Stay America Hotel in Atlanta Duluth
The towels and wash clothes were dirty they had no dishes, utensils, or pots & pans for you use for food the smoke alarm was hanging off of the ceiling the TV was one of those small ones I think it was a 25 and imagine 2 healthy people sleeping in a full size bed well thats what we had a full size bed 😖at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor and I can barely walk as it is so me and my cane had to slow walk it down that long hall in pain 😟 and the refrigerator was dirty

2022-02-24Walter, Shawn and Randy, I just want to thank you all so much for an amazing stay at the Extended Stay. When I checked in my first night, I was not expecting to stay as long as I did. Over the few months being there, there were a few issues, but each one of you always showed great customer service and much professionalism when assisting me. My mornings were welcomed by Randys smile or Shawns awesome good morning. She is a ray of sunshine!. Walter you are irreplaceable. It takes special people to make you feel comfortable when youre not in such a great place mentally. Had it not been for the laughter you brought after my long day of work, I would not have been able to just take a moment to breath. Not only did you assist me with my room an items I needed like dishware, bags, etc., but my son thought the world of you. You can go to a 5 star hotel on paper and service is a 2 best. But you guys are AMAZING. Thank you for all you do

2022-07-02Very poor place to be. I wish I read a honest review about this place before booking and going there. No real breakfast just muffin bar and coffee. The place is unsafe and a huge fat man kept knocking on my door. The room look cheap and worse of all! The entire place smells like smoke. The room smells like cigarette and the building does not look like the google image.( white building ) it looks like the gwinnet location of extended place. I will never again make this mistake

2021-12-29Positive: I liked being left alone and not bothered. I liked not being hassled about payments and if I was 5 to half our late I wasnt threatened with getting kicked out. There always nice about it and know that I will pay rent and there really nice people at this Negative: The price of the rooms daily.. Ive been staying at this hotel for over 14 days now and I havent got any cheaper rates or anything like that. I was hoping to stay kinda long term but I have to make a new reservation every day to 3 days because of price

2022-05-23I’ve been staying here for about two weeks they provided me with the manager right away and he brought me up silverware, plates, bowls, a toaster and a couple pans. They are so funny all of the staff and manager. I haven’t had too much good customer service in Georgia so ive been very satisfied being here and having a smile and genuine greetings when i leave and come back 🙌

2022-06-14Location is, service is good, How ever rooms smell, feels dirty, and the room we where in was infested with German cockroaches. I couldnt sleep all night. I didnt feel like waking my 9 yrs old daughter cuz we got the room late around 12 am. So I didnt bother getting another room since I had a feeling all the rooms had roaches. Middle of the night I had a roach crawl on my leg, that was it! I woke up my daughter and left 6 am instead till 3. Im never getting a room here again! Atleast not at this location. I stayed at several extended stays and this was by far worst one I ever stayed at. They should definitely get maintenance and pest control on this asap. Its not sanitary to sleep in a room infested with cockroaches. I spent $136 for the night, when I could have spent $20 more and got a room at sonesta down the street.
