No good business! I bought 2021 Mt-03 for the price of $4,600. I paid $2,000 down and had it for a year with $1,776 paid as well. They say I have $4,160 balance ! The APR is high but they just stole my money! Neve buying from them again..they just want your money. Beware and they say the bike is now below the value of 3,000! 😡 they will respond and make it seem like they dont stel from you but the truth is they do. Apart from the finance company and agreements with me extreme motorsports will say that only between us...well they have a hand in the beginning before the contract is made,and with experience I can say they will not actually help you, they will say whatever they can to make it seem like they are helping us when theyre not.

The BEST customer service ever. Greeted with a smile, and greeted with a smile goodbye! Bought my son a 70cc ATV, and he LOVES it! Recommend 10000x. Will definitely be going back for all my power sport needs. Shout out to Josh & Crew for being so welcoming and patient with all the questions I had.

I was in the market for a Maverick X3, so I went shopping at the local big dealers and couldnt find any good deals. So I went online that night and found a 2017 Can Am Maverick X3 RS at an unbelievable price at Extreme Powersports in Columbus, GA. I called the next day and we got the paperwork going. This was my first time buying an out of state vehicle and these guys made it the smoothest vehicle transaction ever. They were easy to work with and were very accomodating while I found transportation which is hard during the busy holiday season. I got the car about a week ago(Jan 11, 2018) and it was exactly as advertised. This ride is fast and tons of fun and well worth the wait!
Always a positive experience every time I go in there. I actually worked for Extreme Powersports from 2003 until the end of 2011. Things have actually changed a lot and it is a very positive atmosphere with an enthusiastic sales staff. Sort of like a homecoming when I go in. Everyone was awesome especially Mark, he put up with all my phone calls and questions no matter how stupid they might have been. I will most definitely buy from them again in the future. This place is an absolute joke, bought an hour meter brand new, put it on my bike and drove it around casually, about a week later of not riding it I noticed the screen had two big black spots so I took it back up after 2 weeks of buying it and one ride just for them to tell me they can’t do anything about it, not even exchange it. I wouldn’t be so upset if it wasn’t $50 but $50 is $50, but “wE cAn’T dO aNyThInG aBoUt It, SoRrY” as if they actually care. If you are in need of accessories just save your own time and money and order some online, you’ll end up getting things of better quality for cheaper than anything in that store. Place is a joke.
Working with Extreme Power Sports was such a great experience. Thomas was so helpful and knowledgeable. Everyone from Sales, Service, Finance, Parts, and Management was wonderful. We have only great things to say about our experience. It was well worth the 6 and 1/2 hour drive to the dealership. Thank you to the wonderful team at Extreme Power Sports. This is my fourth superbike purchase, and third from a dealer. I have been to a ridiculous amount of dealerships from San Diego, California to Pensacola, Florida and almost everywhere in between. This place BY FAR surpassed my expectations for a big box dealer. I was treated right from the sales floor with Troy, Dan and Brian to finance with Zac to parts. I even got to meet the GM Paul briefly, awesome dude. I am as ocd as they come. While I fly for the Army for a living, I have my degree in accounting and I pinch every penny for the best possible deal. I cant even put into words how good I was treated. From here on out it will be my pleasure to always bring my business to Extreme Powersports of Columbus. I bought a matte black edition 2016 CBR1000RR and purchased about $1000 in extra gear with it. Man Im still laughing and shaking my head at what good a deal I got and how pleased I was leaving after spending that amount of money. About two years ago I went to use your restroom & heard weird moaning noises. I peeked over the stall (as I thought someone might be having a medical emergency) & saw a mechanic (Osburne) rolling around in a puddle of gear oil so I promptly joined him. We laughed & cried together while making snow angels in gear & wet brake oil. We then shared stories about about oil viscosities & pesky ECU failures. 10/10 would do it again
Had a great experience with Ron at Extreme Power Sports. He gave me a lot of good info. Helped us purchase a motorcycle for my significant others fathers day present and gave me alot of info for my son and dirt bikes and helmets. Definitely will becoming back in the future and will definitely ask for Ron again!
Took my motorcycle to this business for a downshift problem in early June. Two months later, they call with a repair estimate close to the trade value of the bike; I authorized the work. Over two months later, I still don’t have my bike (now working on month 5). The service department has not once called me with an update; I have to visit the place in person to find out what’s happening. I’ve heard everything from parts delays, tech is on vacation this week, he’s working on other jobs, to there’s a problem with the engine running rough and we can’t figure it out, we’re calling Kawasaki for ideas. I talked to the service manager in person 2 weeks ago and he promised to call me each week with an update…no calls. Think twice before using this service department. Maybe you have to buy the bike from them to get service…?
Ive been buying motorcycles from extreme power sports for 20 years now, and they are the best around, huge selection, great people work there, get great deals and they are quick to help. I recommend everyone who wants to buy any and all sports vehicles to go there. Thomas Arnold has helped me there for 10 years, great knowledgeable person on products sold there.
This is truly an outstanding dealership! Everyone is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products that they sell. Will did an excellent job in educating me about buying my son his first dirt bike. He even helped me pick out a new bike for myself. I would definitely do business here again!
Store was clean and organized. Inventory was low - but to be expected everywhere with a Covid related supply chain issues. Sales (Myke) and Finance were great to work with - went quick and seem-less. (Although during negotiations, I was promised an in-store gift card for accessories to bridge some of the negotiation gap etc…. that I haven’t received)….I paid for the priority VIP service and had some minor issues when getting obvious low fluids topped off prior to the 20 hour service…. Since then the 20 hour service has been done and I didn’t find or experience any major issues during. Although, some of that overall experience lacked in a few ways that I would only discuss in person.. I know the site is working to rebuild their service reputation and I think they are making strides…. However / there needs to be a close look, audit and continued focus into the remaining issues — so that the positive reputation building is not affected. That is the pros and cons. A true review of both. There was more positive than negative - thus “4 stars”. If you want 5 from me— in the future, then fulfill your commitments during negotiations and continue to focus on the service department….. everything else — keep doing what you’re doing.Thanks,
These guys were awesome. We came in just browsing and left with a machine that will provide our family with countless adventures. The salesman was very patient and kind and explained things well. Let us test drive a couple of side by sides and we found the one that had everything we needed. The buying experience was fun, they had a game to play that gave you a chance to win a prize. They walked us around all the departments and introduced us and filled us in on everything. They were never pushy or tried to sell us on something silly. It was a very great experience and we couldnt of asked for more. Even delivered it to the house for free next day with a full tank of gas. Ive dealt with dealerships a lot and it should be like this every time.Wont buy from anywhere else! These guys really have gone above and beyond to make sure were happy with our purchase. I waited almost 4 weeks for a simple brake job. I picked my atv up because it had been there so long and they charged me the same price that they said I could have got tires too and not only that my whole front brakes never even got touched . Terrible place and outrageous prices. Should Of took it anywhere else and paid 1/3 of the price and actually got the work done in a timely manner
Overall great experience. Mike was super helpful and had the answers to my questions. Austin over in parts was able to size me up first try on a helmet and jacket. Anthony helped with a lot of my questions too.Thanks to Zac for putting up with me while on phone with insurance. I want to thank “Thomas “ for assisting us in our journey this year. It started last year in September and he was patient with us every step of the way. He was great with my children and addressed our needs appropriately.Every time we came in the dealership it was with open arms and he never pushed us into a vehicle. Today I had a great experience the service at extreme power sports was on point the salesman that helped me and my wife was terrific Ron was his name and I recommend him to anyone. The hole staff was great. The only thing that could be improved on is the time with the finance department other than that great job to the extreme family
They will try and run your credit without verifying if what youre looking to purchase Is even there. Had my credit ran on a bike that I was told 3 different times was available. Called at noon the day before going to look at the bike and had my credit ran. Was told after having my credit ran the bike had just sold apparently during the hour since I had just talked to them which I dont believe for one second.
I would have been a repeat customer. We purchased a motorcycle and paid cash 8 months prior and the service was fantastic. Since the reopening, we visited several times and not one sales rep offered any assistance or even greeted us for that matter. Despite all of that, my oldest made an appointment to meet with a salesman to get a new 4 wheeler for his graduation gift. When we got there, we realized he was early for the scheduled appointment (the salesman never bothered to tell him what time). As we started the process for the application another couple came in and was looking at the the 4 wheeler the was supposed to be for my son and all of a sudden the salesman comes over and tells us that the price of the 4 wheeler was more than what is being advertised. I don’t know why it changed so sudden. We left because there were too many red flags for us! You discuss price before starting an application. You can’t work worth two applicants at one time. If you knew you had someone else coming in then you should have told us that in then beginning. We went right to Macon, GA and got the exact 4 wheeler cheaper!
Its a bigger store and has a lot of new and different motorcycles brands, but thats about it. They also have a decent amount of riding jackets and helmets. Lacking in accessories, bags and what not. Updated this review. I recently bought a motorcycle from here. It was a great experience and went pretty fast. Very happy with the service I received.

As a woman it’s hard to be taken seriously when buying any fun toys. This however was not the case at Extreme Power Sports! My daughter and I were greeted immediately by the nicest salesman, Ladon. He listened to what I wanted and made it happen without question. I’m so impressed by the professionalism and helpful attitude of the entire staff, especially Ladon. Well worth a 2.5 hour drive! First let me shout out Josh who was my salesman. He was super friendly and super knowledgeable on the bikes. I was able to come in and tell him what I wanted and the look I was going for as a beginning rider and he knocked it out the park. He didn’t try to sell me some big and expensive bike and he was genuinely concerned about my safety and that was super important. Andy helped me get the right riding gear so that I was prepared as soon as I left out the door. I would definitely recommend this place a billion times again!
I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is riding. Mr. Austin took his time and help me pick out my helmet with Bluetooth, Jacket, gloves, and tires. I’m new to riding and he gave me a lot of good information about riding and even on my bike. He is definitely among the best technician at this facility. I live three hours from this dealership. They had the bike I wanted and I explained the distance between me and them. They worked with me over the phone and we came to a deal. When I arrived at the dealership they had my bike ready and everything was exactly like agreed-upon. No other dealership I called was willing to work with me over the phone like Extreme power Sports. No other dealership even came close to the price that extreme power sports gave me. Give them a call and I think you’ll find it well worth your time. Bubb was a great sales man any questions I had we could answer them and if didn’t know he went and got someone who did and got a answer back to me right away. He was very knowledgeable and was a great person all around. The extreme team was super fast from when we stepped foot into the build and Intel we got out ski. All the department were fast and got us what we need for the ski.

Granted this dealership is one of a few in Columbus Ga, it is a decent dealership. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone i know. After purchasing a bike in March 2020, I didnt legally get to ride it because the dealership had no possession of the title for me to even register it. After numerous calls and visits and an extreme amount of patience over a 9 month span it they still havent got what they needed in order to get the prior title so I can register it. They had no importance of understanding to fix their mistake. Ive been the one paying for the bike and not being able to ride it. Nice bikes, bad business ethics.

Staff are responsive and courteous. We bought a 2021 4 wheeler. It is beautiful and powerful. Has ability to wench and tow! Yamaha Kodiak 700, the first 2021 in Columbus. We felt like we were immediately part of a family. Our 4 wheeler has lots of built in warranties. This is a great value and I am very happy that we purchased locally. We highly recommend Columbus Extreme Power Sports versus going to Opelika or Auburn.
I called to ask questions about the fees. The sticker price says one thing and the total bill says another. I talked to their manager Todd and instead of helping me understand why I’m paying double the amount for the bike, he was so rude over the phone. Definitely will not purchase from this place.
Bubba was great. despite his name the man is a class act. he didnt just get me on a good bike, he got me a great price, stuck his neck out for me a few times, made sure I got a gift card just to help me have a better day. I ended up getting a free pair of gloves out of it because of the gift card. I will absolutely recommend this place, not just because theyre the only people in town that sell motorcycles aside from Harley, but because the team that works there isnt just out to get your money. if you go, ask for bubba. Ive never had a dealership salesman that let me walk out empty handed because I was still considering my choices not just once, but twice. I challenge you to find a car dealership that would let you do that, go ahead and get back to me on that one. thank you for everything, thank you for my first bike, and I plan on sending all of my friends to you.

Hanging out with Will Flake for an afternoon while my wife and toddler and I bounced from atv to sxs and back was great. He never got sick of our never ending questions and the constant running to finance for us. He made the whole experience worth while and the smiles on the kids faces are priceless, and my man Zac in finance was worth the price of admission.

I know where back in may I went to extreme with wanting to purchase a honda recon and I did I got a 2020 honda recon in the famous honda red my sales guy william flake was awsome super friendly and even got me on sale also!! So since them Ive sent several people there to purchase from there establishment because my experience was awsome everyone was super friendly. My little brother wants to purchase him a honda rancher 4x4 foot shift sales guy myke walk passed us several times never spoke nor looked at us so we sit down at williams desk I see he has a customer so we wait patiently and even wait more by time william got to us he was very arragant and had a snobby attitude and instead of saying look we have been cleaned out I could check in the back and see if something may have got over looked nor did he take the time to take my brothers info down to see what he wanted instead he let us walk out the door. My best friend Devon went there cause I went there and had a pleasent experience the same day william let us walk out is the day Devon purchased his raptor his grandpa is getting a ssr 400 utv so I bring you customers and yall treat me this way when my brother wants a rancher my fiance went through a fire early December and I want to get her a side by sid and I was gonna get a klx300r the day we get her side by side a honda pioneer 1000 4 seater and I also wanted to get a klx300r the same day we pick up her side by side but because no one has contacted me to try to even make this situation right Im not making them purchases here. Never bite the hand that feeds you and the customers feed you!!!

After obtaining a written quote from a sales rep, I drove 80 minutes to purchase a side by side. I test drove the vehicle; went through the credit check process and was approved. After an extremely long wait to see the finance rep, I discovered his total price was greater than the quoted price. They said the sales rep quoted the wrong model. I had been there about 3 hours at this point and offered to pay half of the price difference but was told that no other customer received a discount that day and I would not either. The vehicle was already in process of being delivered to my home!!! I was told I should have known from my research that the quoted price was incorrect. I am a customer who was prepared to pay a quoted price. Its not my obligation to fact check their quotes. This was an awful and embarrassing experience.
I purchased a Boss sound bar from extreme . I installed it it worked great . A week or so later it stopped working . I called Extreme and they told me to call Boss . I did on 11/15/2020. I to this day am still waiting on a shipping label to return my sound bar. I called Extreme and they told me they couldnt do anything . I buy local and in person so that I dont have to deal with online companies . I guess I wasted my time and money this time. I also purchased a 2021 Polaris ranger quad form them but they act Like they dont even know me . Service after the sale is a 0
Just had a great experience with the staff at Extreme Powersports. I had a rear tire replaced on my motorcycle and the tire got lost in shipping, they stored the bike while the replacement arrived and even comped me a gift card for my trouble. Ill recommend to anyone!

This place is great! Had some tires mounted and balanced there they were done within an hour and only charged me $50 for the whole process! The staff was super friendly and helpful with the questions I had so no wonder they are so busy! I will be back soon for more business its definitely worth the drive! They have a crazy huge selection of vehicles and riding gear! Hopefully will purchase a new bike in the near future!

I called 4 other dealerships looking for a hard to find vehicle. 2 of them didn’t return my call, one said they were doing an inventory search and never called back. The 4th I contacted was Extreme Powersports in Columbus. They had the exact vehicle i wanted in stock. I had a phone call within an hour from a customer care rep who got me in touch with a salesperson, Myke. Myke talked me through the process for the most part. I put down a deposit so it couldn’t be sold out from under me given I’m 90 miles away. Finance application sent and approved. Myke called me with the $$ particulars so I had a basic idea of the out the door price. The loan structuring was a bit stressful but it’s a lot of money so it’s to be expected. Zach in finance was great at helping me set up exactly what I needed and get my payments where I needed them.Now, you’re reading this and it sounds like I had a good experience, and for the most part, I did. I gave four stars because of the amount of fees (close to $2k for a $12,4k vehicle) and their refusal to negotiate price. I was provided a $100 parts gift card in leu of price reduction. They did give my son a sxs toy and a t-shirt so for that alone, they earned my business.All that said, great customer service comes at a price I guess but at least they did what I was expecting from the other dealerships I called.
They are great! The pricing is great and the guy in the customer care center was super helpful. He was in constant contact with me through the whole process and made it so all I had to do was come in and sign papers and pick up my side-by-side. Thanks a lot William Buffin. I worked a deal for a CRF450RL over the phone with Thomas. Traveled from Montgomery to pick the bike up. Thomas had all paperwork ready for a quick hassle free delivery. Thomas was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Zac processed the F and I quickly and painlessly. Zac was very knowledgeable of extended warranty and other options that was worth considering for ownership future benefits. The dealership had a fun “ poker run” that enabled me to meet all department managers and draw a card at each counter with a chance to win a prize! I highly recommend this dealer to anyone as it is professionally operated and managed. Be sure to ask for a Thomas!

I went into Extreme Powersports with an idea in my head and no experience of riding. Bubba helped me understand each motorcycle that I was interested in and even introduced me to a bike that I had never considered. I ended up choosing to buy the bike that Bubba recommended and am SO HAPPY that I went with his advice. The Z650 is so smooth on curves, lightweight, and has the get up and go that I want without feeling uneasy. The entire staff is so welcoming and easy to work with. My husband and I were able to get in, do all of the paperwork, and walk away with our new bikes in about 1.5 hours. I HIGHLY recommend this store and I will definitely be back. After a brief discussion, Levi apologized for the issue and offered to fix the indicator light same day at no cost. That kind of customer service I can really appreciate. Extreme Powersports has regained my business.)(Original post) Bought a used motorcycle from a private seller and wanted it checked to make sure everything was working properly and a service done. I knew there was already some damage to one of the turn signals so wanted to ensure that was taken care of too. Brought the bike in on Nov 22nd and was told it might take a while because of Thanksgiving and I had no problem with that. Two weeks later the bike is ready and I go pick it up and the first thing I notice is the turn signal indicator light still wasnt fixed. I asked the service guy about it, he checked it out, and said I could leave the bike and it would cost another $85. Now, I know bikes are expensive and this post isnt really about that. The staff was friendly and this post isnt about that either. My point is this place had my bike for TWO weeks, did a full diagnostic, AND basic service during that time (including literally working on the turn signal) and DID NOT NOTICE THE INDICATOR LIGHT WAS OUT. It begs the question what else was not noticed (especially paying $272 to check)? I refuse to believe that checking to see if the indicator lights work is not part of the full diagnostic or basic service. The staff was friendly but if I wanted friendly, substandard service Id have a buddy work on the bike for a tenth of the cost. Anyone who rides knows you need confidence in the safe operation of their motorcycle and I simply do not have that.
William was my salesman and I had a great experience! I recommend anybody in the market or just window shopping go deal with them, they are great people superior customer service. We got such a good deal we bought 2 units and then went back a week later and got our kids1! We will use them for our needs in the future! Thanks folks!
Can in with my daughter and son in law to purchase a side by side and he was awesome... he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles that we were interested in (which is had to find these days). Thomas Arnold was my sales person and the individual I have turn to when I have had a problem. He has always been there for me even after hours and on holidays when I had questions about the operation of my Sea Doo. I walked in the door to sit on a Raider to make sure I was still comfortable on it since having back surgery and a 3 year hiatus from riding. Ive wanted a Raider since 2009. Suddenly I hear my name being called from someone across the room and was pleasantly surprised to see Troy! I explained to him why I was there and we sat down to work out a great deal on the exact bike I wanted, which they retrieved from another dealer at an extremely satisfactory price. I purchased a brand 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000 from East Alabama Powersports in Opelika Alabama. I didnt call around price shopping, I just went to my local dealer, hoping to establish a relationship with them. Phil was nice and so was Chad but the overall customer service was absolutely horrible. I even gave them three chances. Anyway, I decided I was finished with that place and drove 2 1/2 hour round trip to you guys in Columbus for my next service, winch install, etc. Kevin, in the service department handled everything fast, professionally, and fairly. I felt confident, when I left, that everything I had asked to be done was done correctly. One of the technicians came outside with me and explained the answers to all of my questions about the machine (something the dealership where I originally purchased, all but refused to do). In short, I was treated better by a place where I hadnt yet spent a dime, than the dealership where I purchased the machine for $15,000. Very pleased with the entire service staff. Ill be back. You guys are my new dealership from now on. Thanks!
I walked around the store for 15 minutes. I finally had to chase an employee down. Nobody ever offered to assist me. They were not busy as there was only one other person in the shop. All of the employees were in each others offices conducting water cooler talk. I told the employee what I was looking for, a mule or smaller 4 wheeler. Didnt bother to go over the features, etc. Just wrote the price down on a back of a business card and then answered his personal cell phone. Guess these guys were not interested making the sale. I had the wifes. Permission to but it and was ready to walk out the door with one.Ten months later and no call back or response
Ladon and Eric went above and beyond to make our sons birthday memorable by helping us walk out the door that day with a new Honda 125. Although our credit wasn’t the greatest they both went to bat for us for several hours and we were able to leave with his birthday gift and smiling faces ! Went to Extreme Powersports and was welcomed by the staff. I had a trade in and was working with Thomas. I knew what I wanted walking in from the Facebook post and he was prompt on getting me the keys and taking a look at my trade in. From start to finish it was an awesome experience. All of the staff was superb and totally cool with my 3 crazy boys that came with me (one even gave my youngest money to play on the video games). They didn’t downplay my trade in and gave me a great deal on it. Worked with Zac in finance and he made sure to get my payments where I wanted them and was super down to earth. Once everything was completed I grabbed some gear from Anthony in parts and a new battery for my sons STACYC. All around an amazing experience and will be going back for all my Motorsport needs. I am from out of state and noticed they had a great deal on a 2018 VMAX! When I called I got in touch with LaDon Worsley. I cant say enough how he helped me through purchasing my new bike. As I have never bought a bike out of state before. He was always friendly and very helpful. Always kept me informed by text or phone. When ever I had a question he would answer it right away. The Fire sale is real! When ever you come across a deal to good to be true beware! I did my background on this place, paid my deposit over the phone, made a 1000 mile trip to Georgia and couldn’t be happier! William and Zach took great care of us and we saved so much money we bought two bikes instead of one! ZERO pressure from the sales or finance team! No hidden out the door pricing! All I can say is WOW!!!! Extreme in years past has not been known for its Service Department, but i just had the best experience EVER!! I can see that they have really made some changes and the customer service is great. I dropped my side by side off with Kevin in service and he had it back to me in lest than a week. The crazy thing is I didnt even buy my buggy there. I will continue doing business with Extreme!!

Me and my husband came and got a Polaris 4 wheeler with touring package at the end of December. At first our experience wasnt great because the guy we was talking to said he had to go answer the phone and never came back. Turns out he had an appointment set up at the same time but instead of him coming back and letting us know and getting some one else to help. We had to search for someone else and found Devon (something like that) and he was great. He wasnt pushy and knew what he was selling. I would MOST definitely buy something else from him.
I was charged $211.76 for a routine service. Nothing was done but an oil change.Not enough oil was used. It only makes it to the bottom of the window.Chain is loose and was not touched.1 1/2 labor for this? Changing the oil and filter for $193 labor?I want my money back.
Been in three times with cash in pocket for a new atv. No one want to help. The first time they were extremely busy, but the second and third time hardly anyone in the store. When asking someone about a atv they say they will get someone wait 30 min no one ever comes over. So off to another dealer i go.
I had a horrible experience at East Alabama Power sports were I bought my new Ranger, I actually live fairly close to them and would of been a lot easier to take my toys in for service. The level of perfesionalism and care the employees showed me at Extreme was awesome! I dont care about the drive, its worth it to make an hour drive for the service. Im very happy! Dropped my Ranger off, went shopping, ran some errands and picked up my Unit all within a few hours! They explained everything they did. Thanks again Extreme Ill be using you all for all my future services and purchases.
My husband needed a mode of transportation to and from work and was looking at a used scooter. I had my misgivings that, though economical, the scooter would only be a short term solution. We were shown some other options, but again, they were used cycles (due to our limited funds). Will listened to me and found a new bike, though the model year was older, for a REALLY reasonable price and was something both my husband and I can drive, if needed. I really appreciate that he went above, trying to sell A motorcycle, to selling me one I wanted to own.

You can almost always find any of the parts and merchandise here significantly cheaper online, and likely have it shipped to your house sooner than the parts department could get something ordered. The service department is pretty squared away though. Techs are knowledgeable and experienced, shop fees are reasonable, they dont take an unreasonably long time to get work done, and they dont mind helping load/unload bikes from a truck with ramps or forklift or whatever.

First I would like to say that the sales team was good. I went in to buy my first rocket (07 gsxr 600)back in march. They did a very good job keeping me informed on what was going on and giving me everything straight forward, by showing me all the paperwork and giving me time to go through it all and make sure everything was right.The problem is the warranty and service department. I feel as though they lack proper organization and time management for a business of this size. When I had an issue with my bike I promptly took it back to them to get it fixed because I had paid for an extended warranty. I was told that it would be a week before they could get the bike in due to the season and that they were not sure if the warranty would cover the new part (this was odd to me because I was told it was bumper to bumper). So a week later I called them to get an update, at which time I was told that the bike was checked out and there was an issue with the starter. They also said that they had to wait up to 3 days for the warranty company to let them know if they would cover the part. So 4 days later I called again to find out that they would cover the part, and that they would be ordering it that day and that my bike should be done Wednesday or Thursday. Today (Friday) when I called them back really hoping to pick up my bike because it had been 2 1/2 weeks I was told that the part has not come in yet and that we would be looking at possibly tomorrow or Monday before it would be done.I know from experience (I have worked for Firestone as well as Napa Auto Parts) that after keeping someones vehicle for more then the time originally said that people will get upset about the situation, but sometimes it cannot be helped. However, I also know that this part should not take more then an hour or two to put on and that due to circumstances it should be high priority to get done, which I dont feel it has. Plus I was unaware of a deductible that I would be required to pay when I got the extended warranty.Basically what I am trying to say is that if you take your bike in there to get something fixed, dont expect it to be back in a timely manner. Also make sure that when you get the warranty paperwork make sure you know about the deductible and a list of exact parts on everything that is covered. I hope that this will benefit someone in the future.
Just made the 230 mile trip to have tires replaced on my Goldwing. Dealt with Austin & Daniel on the purchase. Mike Osburn installed them as I know him from work he performed on my Spyder. If you need Spyder work, see Mike. Highest praise for all of them. I first encountered this shop when I purchased my 2018 Spyder RT from LaDon. I have always been impressed with this business and will continue to give them my business. I live in the Atlanta Area, many motorcycle shops, mostly owned by two corporations, but I travel to Columbus for the price, performance and attitude of Extreme Powersports.
Great service whether it be talking about merchandise , bikes, or the weather he made it very easy to have a conversation. Bubba was able to go above and beyond for my needs and didnt hesitate to exceed them. Honestly Id rather travel a 200 mile radius to get shop. Parts department use to be so great and helpful, now just want to sell accessories and bikes. Propose a deal on a bike showing what it can be purchased in Newnan for and you will be told go get it there... Sounded like an outstanding idea to me.

I called these guys in a pinch, after the rear tire on my Rocket III Touring failed. I limped into their shop and an hour later, they had a new Dunlop Elite 4 on my rear wheel and I was on my way back to Memphis. Great people, service and attention. I just wish they were in Memphis!
I purchased a new Ruckus in Opelika and 2 weeks later had an issue of running poorly. My Ruckus sat there for a week without any communication before I went to pick it up and drive 45 mins to Columbus for service. Kevin L. at extreme was great, called promptly with the issue and told me they could have it done. They were able to diagnose and fix in a day, what my local shop couldnt get to for weeks. Great Service, Great Communication, & Thanks!! Ruckus runs great, wife now wanted one, so we bought our second from Extreme PS this time.
“Excellent service! Quick and informative all through the whole process. I was traveling from Panama City Beach to my home in North Georgia, when my tire kept loosing air pressure. This was a new tire installed in Panama City and less than 200 miles on it. Your team traced the leak down to a piece of rubber flash from the molding process that got between the tire and the rim causing the bead seal to fail. They removed the flash and reseated the tire and I was on my way. Excellent job!”
I purchased a used motorcycle from this company while I was visiting my daugter. I live in Texas and had been looking for a bike for my son. I was told that the bike was inspected and everything was great. The ad said it was all decked out ready for a weekend trip! On my drive home the front peg, the horn and the handle grip fell off while I was riding. Once I got home I had a local shop repair the missing parts and wanted to get the saftey done but it failed. The bike had turning lights on the rear but the front lights had been taken off. It would not pass the safety. I made calls to the salesman that sold us the bike and none have been returned. Stay away from this shop! Poor service from all involved and the used bikes are given a quick paint job to look good but are falling apart. I would not have written this if I had a call back and a resonable offer to repair my bike but I am still waiting for a call.
First of Im not going to make this as long as my brother may have but I will announce my experience. I recently purchased a zx6r and had it about a month, well while riding this past weekend I had a very unsafe experience while on the Interstate, due to my adjuster screw and locking nut on my rear wheel being loose which caused my rear wheel to shift drastically. Which cause my bike to merge uncontrollably into the opposite lane. Scary and intense moment. Also days after that while installing some hid head lights I noticed that my brake lever screw was centimeters away from falling out the top of the lever. This review that Im writing is to remind new buyers and riders to inspect your bike before you ride better safe than sorry. Sales was awesome though.
Took my bike in to have warranty work done, according to the service tech. I spoke with the warranty I paid nearly 800$ for is useless because everything is considered a wear item. after I was told none of the things were going to be warranted I asked for a price because the work has to be done regardless. the price was outrageous for only one of the four things I needed done. I told the service tech to get the service manager to find out if anything can be warranted, if not ill go somewhere else. never figured out if it would be or not, found a local shop that can do all the work I needed for less than the one item I was quoted at extreme. when I told the service tech I was going to pick up my bike due to them being way overpriced and not giving me my warranty that I paid for ,he gave me an attitude and proceeded to tell me how the other shops quality isn`t as good and so on. The way I see it is extreme power sports knows they have the Columbus/Phenix City/Fort Benning area locked down because they are the biggest shop close by, so word of mouth isn`t really an issue for them. They know if you live in these areas and want a bike either your going to buy one private party or go to extreme power sports, once you leave the lot they could care less if you come back or not or even if you recommend them to a friend. On another note the other shop I took my bike to is a small shop with little publicity, they mainly go by repeat customers and word of mouth. I have heard nothing but great reviews about them so for a big company like this to trash talk a smaller one tells me they feel threatened. I`m not giving the name of the other company as this isn`t a bash on one to go to the other, but if you need work done on your bike do your homework and you`ll find the place has great reviews, prices, attitude, and overall know how .

2022-04-11A great dealership with lots of knowledgeable staff and a great attitude. We worked with Jessica on finding my new Honda ATV in the pipeline and placing my deposit, all online and over the phone. We worked with Chance the day it arrived, and he did an excellent job taking care of us. Zac took care of our financing like a real pro as well. I wish we lived closer because the way they have their act together in the rest of their business, I have to assume the service guys are top notch as well. I greatly appreciate the way we were treated through the whole buying process.

2022-05-01Just purchased a CB500X. Worked with Mark to find and reserve this bike. With all of the supply chain issues getting this bike was difficult, but Extreme Powersports were great to work with along the way.I highly recommend these guys, they don’t try to sell you more bike than you want or need.Mark is an awesome salesman and a great guy, ask for him and you won’t be disappointed and will be taken care of.Keep in mind that the supply chain issues aren’t their fault, any dealers that deal with imports, and even Harley dealers with foreign made parts are all having these issues.

2022-04-16I was very undecided on which bike I wanted but Mark was awesome. He didn’t try to sell me anything. He gave me the pros and cons, talked me through what I was looking to do, and the rest handled itself. The entire crew is very friendly and very professional. I’m entirely happy with my purchase. I traded in my old motorcycle and was extremely happy with the offer. More than I thought I was going get. I can’t recommend Extreme Powersports enough. The entire experience was incredible and I’m sure I’ll be back soon for another motorcycle.

2022-04-25If your looking for a SxS here you can expect to wait forever on a back order list according to one of there salesman I spoke to recently.look in Atlanta if in the market I got mine same day. Ever since management has changed its not the same organization.

2022-04-13WOW what a shop!!! The 4.8 stars is absolutely spot on.. Needed rear tire installed on my Kaw Nomad and its the start of the riding season, now what??? Local shop 3 weeks out and wont schedule, would have to leave the bike there. After seeing these folks great reviews - gave em a call hoping to schedule but upon asking , he asked Can ya ride it down here today? Be right there I said, although im an hour away, got there and it was on the lift a little over 1/2 hour and I was smiling big time on the way home shortly there after... They always say, spend your money locally but Ill be making the hour trip to these guys. oh and I bought the tire online and not from them........... GREAT JOB!! Ill say again WOW what a shop!!!

2022-08-11Harvey A. here. Just purchased a 2022 Kawasaki Mule Pro MX. Awesome buggy. Ladon was extremely helpful getting it ordered as it was not in stock. The poker run was fun and informative. Tour of parts and service departments was super helpful. Ordered some extras for my buggy. Can’t wait for hunting season to get here.Overall I would highly recommend this location.

2022-04-27Ladon was an excellent salesperson! He took great care of me from beginning to end. Go see him! However... Dealing with the credit department this week was one of the worst experiences Ive EVER had! Zach (apparently the credit manager?) was dismissive, rude, disrespectful and less than honest with me. He tried fast talking me into buying extras without explaining to me that they were optional, he changed the terms of the contract without telling me and when I politely called attention to this, he then behaved like a petulant child rather than a professional representative of a seemingly reputable company. I cant recall a time in my entire life when I, as a customer, have been treated so poorly. Once he realized that I wasnt okay with being treated this way, he then handed me off to his assistant who had an equally peevish attitude. She tried half-heartedly explaining that Zach was late for a dinner date of some kind (as if thats an excuse for bad behavior!) and thats why he was so rude and insulting. I mean... WHAT..? I drove over two hours to visit this dealership and purchase this machine and were it not for that, I would have walked out of there and never come back. Everyone else at the company was kind and decent but grouchy Zach and his ill-tempered assistant ruined the entire experience for me.
