Received fast, friendly, and helpful service from Optical once again. I am looking forward to continued good service as I am near completion of my third lens purchase. Dr. Aldina has been great to have as a doctor as well.
It was my first appointment here and I sorry but I have to say it was a very unpleasant experience. I had an appointment booked with Dr. Aldina and I was put with Dr. George without notifying me the reason and even I booked the appointment 1 day ago. When I was informed about this during the checkout they even did not show curtsey to apologize on this mix up and were just bothered on taking the money. The doctor initially checked the eyes and after the dilution he was calm and just checked things quickly and said `` you are all good, whereas he planned to discuss contact lenses with me.Next comes the even worst experience with my glasses. I asked them if their glasses come with anti-scratch and anti-glare and the person who was working with said yes. Then after I received my glasses I found it did not come with anti-glare. When I asked them they said I did not ask them and if I need this then I have to order a new pair of glasses and I would have to pay out of pocket with maximum. This is really deceiving the customer and they just apologized that they did not discuss this option with me. How ridiculous is this, they have to share all good things that would benefit the customer and rather they only get a pair of glasses for name sake without giving satisfaction.Will recommend never ever visiting this office for any purpose else you will regret for your lifetime.
The most helpful staff Ive worked with!! Jada and Emma have helped me sort through insurance and scheduling hoops to get the care I need. The team there is kind, understanding, and truly put the customer first. I highly recommend!!
Catherine was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly, kind and thorough.I had to quite awhile to be seen. Not sure what was going on that day. Dr. Masson was thorough as well, but it felt like the office was really trying to upsell extra products this time. I didn’t feel that way at my appointment last year. But it was overall a pretty good appointment.
I had a very good experience. One of the best eye doctors I have seen, and I have seen handful of them for my contact lens (hard to fit). I had ripped my lenses many times they always, accomadated me right away in emergency situations. They will work with you 100% to get you the perfect vision! Highly Reccomended.
Dr. Masson was amazing. Explained everything very well and made sure I understood. All other support staff was also great, except for the man in the optical department. I’d already got a $130 pair of glasses and he refused to give me my pupillary distance. He obviously knew I wanted it so I could get more glasses online and made up an excuse saying it was a new office policy and they could be held liable if the other company makes the glasses wrong. I didn’t sign this policy or see it posted anywhere. He said I could bring in frames and he’d tell me what my PD was for $25. I understand they have to make their money but not everyone can afford $130+ glasses AND $90 for anti-reflective coating. Come on. Work with your low income customers!!!! Next time, I’ll get my glasses elsewhere.
My first visit to Eye 1st Vision center was perfect.Doctor Kelly Heren was professional, taking her time to examine my vision and to rule out any ocular diseases. She fitted me for contacts and recommended I wear them for a week or two before buying a package. Im happy to say the contacts work great. Dr. Heren is now my go-to optometrist.
We had an excellent experience. Everyone is professional, caring and respectful. The place is clean and calm. The receptionist is patient and kind. My little one was smiling the whole time. Its a friendly place to visit. Awesome job!

I purchased my glasses about six months ago and noticed that my frames has some discoloration (fading color) on the arm of the glasses and scratches on the non scratch lens. I went to speak with the male manager that was on duty and he was very abrasive and dismissing of my situation and when I asked to speak with someone over him he asked very rudely what I thought that was going to do. I work in customer service and that to me was the worst case of customer service that I have ever experienced and from a manager at that.

Staff is very nice and welcoming soon as you enter the office. Doctors are compassionate and professional. Even when calling for assistance with appointments, if you place an order, staff makes it an seamless, no hassle, easy process. There are a very large selection of eye glasses to choose from. If you’re unsure of what you’re looking for there’s always staff on hand to help you make the best decision tailored to your needs whether it’s style or budgeting. I truly enjoyed my visit.
Dr. Shida is the BEST! Been his patient for 3 years now and hands down, he never disappoint! He is patient, thorough and very knowledgeable. He is also funny and personable. I absolutey love this eye clinic! The doctors, in particular Dr. Masson is very thorough, friendly and relatable. She truly makes you feel as though she cares about your eye care and making sure your vision is better then what it was prior to you walking in. The entire office staff is pleasant and professional making your experience one that puts you at ease. Im rather hard and have high expectations when it comes to customer service and Healthcare, but Eye 1st never lets me down. I highly recommend them for all of your families vision needs.

Everyone was hands on and instrumental in flowing us through the appointment. My husband and I were able to have our appointments back to back even though that is generally avoided. From the customer service at the front desk to the technicians, even the ladies that work in the section where you choose your frames.[one of the beautiful ladies and I share the same birthday 😊] I love the fact that the doctor took the time to explain to me what my images mean, what they would be looking for, and really answer any questions or concerns I had. Had a really good experience!! From the eye exam with Dr. J to looking for frames! I didn’t catch the name of the individuals who helped me when looking for my frames but their customer service was exceptional and they were so patient(I’m picky & indecisive) and kind! The lady in that department is my new fav human; she was soooo sweet!! Dr. J was also extremely personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and overall amazing!! She explained everything to how thick or thin I’d like my lenses for my specific prescription to why I was experiencing watery eyes! I’ll def be back!! They also have a lot of name brand frames and if you have VSP insurance you’re in luck because they have plenty of deals for you!!
I just left from my appointment and let me tell you... I have never been to such an amazing vision center or doctor. This was my first visit and not the last! I walked in and immediately felt at home. The front desk receptionist was so helpful and even retrieved my member ID number for my insurance. It took me 3 days of searching just to find nothing and she found it, wrote it down on a sticky note, and gave it me to keep for my records. Directly after I filled out my paperwork, the optometrist assistant Faith called my name. I barely had to wait! She was very knowledgeable and even mentioned she was a fellow Aquarius. When Dr. Masson came in, she immediately made me feel comfortable. She showed me the image they took of my eyes and had a great sense of humor about it. She was patient with me, as I wasnt sure if 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 were better. She took the time to explain things in detail. She even asked me questions about where I was from and cared to get to know me. Then when I went to pick out a pair of glasses, Ibis took care of me. He gave me great suggestions and was extremely helpful. I honestly had fun trying on glasses because he made it fun. He also took the time to explain the costs and helped me understand what my insurance covered. At the checkout counter, the other receptionist was very sweet as well. She ALSO was patient with me using gift cards to pay and was just a breath of fresh air. I have never experienced great service like this. I dont even take time to write lengthy reviews, but these guys deserve all the recognition. Thank you to the team at Eye 1st Vision Center. I will recommend your center to all of my family and friends.
I haven’t felt so “at home” since I left my eye doctor in NY that I had been going to since I was a kid.Dr. J was on her first day, and was a true professional and people person. Excellent customer service from people that truly cared, this group has a great culture!Everyone from Dr. J to her team members made sure to explain everything to me about the process and answer any questions I had. Furthermore they queried me for questions to ensure I didn’t miss any myself!The actual building is nicely kept with a good clean presentation and they have reserved parking for customers only in the parking garage right behind it, which is great.

This was my first time visiting Eye 1st but my second time visiting the eye doctor in Atlanta. Hands-down, this was the best experience I’ve had! I called to try and book an appointment. After waiting for someone to actually pick up eden? Edna? Not sure answered and she sounded miserable. Decided to look elsewhere. I work as a receptionist myself and was very disappointed in her lack of enthusiasm. Fake it girl, or you need to find a new job. First impression is everything. My first impression was to go elsewhere.
They did a good job. Staff was friendly and the Doctor answered my questions. The amount of time I spent waiting was slightly longer than expected. ~90 mins from appointment time until I was ready to select my frames. Overall, I would still recommend them. Good place, and good staff.
I came here to get a routine eye exam as well as glasses/contacts and every single person I interacted with was outstanding. They were all so friendly and very clear about pricing and procedures. Christian, who helped me pick out my glasses, was especially wonderful. He was so courteous and patient as he helped me find the perfect pair of frames. Ive worked with Dr. Shida and his team for over 20 years! The office staff is professional and efficient. Dr. Shida knows his stuff ! The connected store always has a wide variety current and fashionable eyewear. Ive tried others but I find Dr. Shidas office to be the best.
I took kids for their annual eye exams. This place is clean, the nurses are well trained and highly organized. The equipment are new and advanced.Dr. Masson showed my kids their digital eyeballs on screen and gave them a detailed science lesson. She told them how to form healthy habits to take care of eyes.

Dont try making a Saturday appointment. Youll be there for 3 hours. The people in optical were very helpful especially Malika. Their frames are way over priced though, you can definitely get it cheaper online. The only reason Im giving this zero stars was how long the wait time was. My whole Saturday morning was spent here and I didnt like the additional charge they tac on for a retina photo. If your going to over price your frames why are you also adding something I dont want or need? If I was concerned about the health of my eyes I would have made an appointment to check that.

Dr. Shida at Eye 1st Vision Center is the BEST hands down! Ive been going to him for my eye care for over 20 years and hes taken EXCELLENT care of my eyes. I once had my right eye retina detach and could no longer see in that eye so he referred me to an eye specialist and had it fixed immediately.Since then hes helped me select the best options for my eye vision to fit both my age, and my lifestyle. I recently selected to wear contacts again and as he usually does, he came through with a customized Soft Contact Lense option for both my Left Eye Contact and the Right Eye Contact since theyre both different in vision due to the retina detachment.As you can see, I am a FAN of Dr. Shida and Im forever grateful for the care he has provided to my eyes over the years. If you dont go see him, youll be doing yourself a disservice to your vision!

My experience at Eye 1st Vision was excellent from start to finish. It was my first time using my vision insurance plan, and the staff was very helpful helping me clarify the benefits. Dr. Patel was professional and spent quite a bit of time with me assessing my vision. The staff in the glasses store were super helpful both with picking out new frames and when I returned for the fitting. Ill definitely go back!
This place has the absolute worst service EVER. I would not recommend it. I have been wearing glasses for 20+ years and needless to say, Ive had a lot of experience buying glasses and getting my eyes checked. We took my 12 year old here for the last 2 years. Each appt. takes more than 2 hours for an exam. Theyre chronically overbooked and/or understaffed. Every time were looking to purchase glasses it takes 45 additional minutes because the people in the eye glass store are never trained in how to order glasses with my insurance - which is with AT&T so its not like its an obscure service from a niche company. Its Aetna. And its always their first day or their first week. Today was the absolute last straw. My husband called to get my kids prescription and they gave him the run around only to say theyll email my kids prescription by the close of business today. If your assistant had to take 5 mins to verify my husbands association with my kids file, then why would it take 4 additional hours to email the information from that screen? ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE. I will never go back.

The best vision center experience I have ever had. I am very particular, every where I go I use the following statement when asked which frames I would like, I want Oprahs frames. This is the only place that understood what I wanted. The customer service is amazing, from the moment you enter the building till you leave. Dr. Patel and staff have a permanent patient now!!! There are not enough words to explain how much I appreciate the quality of the service I received.

I cant say enough nice things about my first experience as a new patient at Eye 1st Vision. Dr. Shidas vast experience as an Optometrist seemed pretty evident to me. He was able to explain complicated scenarios with ease to me, as a patient. I appreciated him using graphics and handouts so I could fully comprehend his advice and findings. The clinic has a top-notch facility with very advanced and modern equipment. The staff is so friendly and also knowledgeable. Normally, I would be wary giving such a glowing review for my N. Fulton doctors because the truly good ones never have availability for routine appointments but with my Optometrist I have a year before my next appointment. I was really impressed from top to bottom with every interaction from the entire staff.
Eye 1st Vision always # 1 in eye care . Ive been Dr. Shidas patient for many years in different locations. This is a convenient location on Abernathy Road in Dunwoody. The office staff and all who work there are most courteous and on top notch professionals.
I had a great experience from start to finish. The doctor was extremely thorough in explaining everything to me. Carl helped me pick out frames i wouldnt normally try on but they looked amazing on me. For the first time ever in my life my glasses were ready in 2 days instead if waiting a week like I normally do at my old place. I highly recommend them. Entire staff was also very helpful and friendly.
First time patient at Eye 1st. I went to see Dr. Shida. He was excellent. He was quick and efficient but took the time to answer my questions and concerns. From walk in to walk out with a full exam with eyeglasses and contacts, took less than an hour. Also, their online service to fill out your history and book appointments is always a plus. Will make this my regular office for eye exams.
I definitely recommend Eye 1st Vision. I went there after almost 12 yrs without visiting a eye doctor (i know, what a shame). Everybody there were very nice and friendly and they did all the exams right there. Results came back really fast. They have a glasses store within the clinic, where you can order to glasses right away, its very convenient and they have good prices.
The receptionist seemed annoyed and confused when I called. I live in the apartments and the place looks nice. Wish I had a better experience though when I called to ask a few questions.
I visited Eye 1st for the first time in December, since it was right by my hair salon and I needed a new eye doctor. I am so glad I did! I had a great experience there, and everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with my contact order that was placed there, so had to revisit in January to try to figure out what the problem was. Throughout that whole process, they were professional, helpful and took care of the problem very quickly. I will definitely keep my business here for a long time to come.

Great experience. Dr. Patels staff was very professional, courteous and efficient. Dr. Patel took the time to explain certain things she was looking for in my eye imagery: more so than any other optometrist Ive been to. I now have a lot more clarity as to why I need to have my eyes checked every so often - not just for prescription updates, but because they can actually see certain issues involving the brain via the health of the ocular nerve. I have never been told this before by anyone and as a daughter of recent stroke patient and someone who is now very keen on heart/blood/brain health, I am truly grateful she educated me on this!
They are excellent... very well equipped and very professional. In my experience they are the most comprehensive vision center Ive been treated in my whole life... (Ive seen ophthalmologist since I was 5 years old). Dr Shida has been able to find my perfect fit of contacts, and now I can see the best Ive seen in my entire life, even after lasik. They are top of the line. I recommend them 100%... After 2+ years Im still in love with them. Dr Shida continues to be the best! And the practice in general is A+
The review below is from June. This month, August 2021, I had an emergency appt. with Dr. Shida for a sty in my left eye. First time I have ever had this. He examined it carefully and told me how to deal with it and gave me a script for an ointment. I called the office at 9:30 a.m and saw the doctor at 12:30. He also inquired about my upcoming appointment with an Opthomologist who specializes in adult muscle issues which he referred me to. As always, Dr. Shida was very attentive and helpful .June 2021 review - I have been seeing Dr. Shida for approximately 20 years.I have an eye muscle issue that developed 5 years ago called Strabismus. For the past 2 years I went to see an Opthomologist who specializes in that issue. His diagnosis was no different from Dr. Shida. Dr. Shidas practice does a more thorough eve exam so I have gone back to him. He takes a lot of time evaluating your situation. Im one of those people who notices even small changes with my vision. He and his staff have been very accommodating. The senior optometry technician Ibis is great. Pricing on frames and lenses is a tad high (as it is at most retail stores) however the service is great and if your lenses dont perform as you expected they will have them redone. They will also order several frames for you to review if you cant find what you want in the store. I am happy with this group.
I never spent $200 and went home with a bigger smile. The staff was amazing, the service was amazing, Diamond was over the top and Dr. Trivedi was really patient and understanding to my concerns. I highly recommend this institution and subscribe to a vision insurance with VSP. You will love to see. Also, their selection of glasses is really good.

I would like to personally thank Maleeka, a customer service representative in the glasses department of Eye 1st Vision Center. She explained various type of lenses for glasses extremely well, along with their differences. She certainly helped me out a lot by doing so. The types are clear, anti-glare, blue blocking, and transition. It is very important for anyone having any kind medical issue with their eyes to know about these types. Dr. Shida and his team provide the best eye care in Atlanta. Theyre incredibly thorough, and take the time to explain every procedure and issue in your check-up. They make an annual eye exam hassle-free and easy, with a quick turnaround time on your contacts or glasses.I cant recommend them more.
First time Ive been to a eye doctor where everything was computerized, including the eye chart test. Appointments run on time. Typical paperwork for new patients. A nice clean office. Staff is very friendly.Second visit. Still great service.

While I’ve enjoyed my experience with their doctors and staff, be warned about their $90 “contact lens fitting fee.” I’ve worn contacts for 15 years and don’t require a fitting or anything close to it anymore. Yet, when I received the run through of my bill at the end of my exam, I was put on the hook for a $90 fee that they would not budge on despite not being able to justify what service was included in the fee. As a customer, I felt taken advantage of and left with no clear explanation as to what I HAD to pay for. Please be aware of this and ask them about it before your exam.
Dr. Shida is the best! Customer service is always great! You always feel like your concerns are heard, time well spent with every person, never rushed. And, I love the selection of glasses.

I am always able to get in and out of the office for my annual appointment so quickly. Dr. Shida is easy to talk and understand. They are great at taking you back at your appointment time so be sure to arrive 5-10 minutes early for paperwork.
Dr. Shida does a good job. They have a nice office. I was shocked to say the least when they presented my bill which included some fees they did not disclose...(which Ive since learned this is a common practice for medical offices) They worked with me after I expressed my dissatisfaction but it left a bad taste. I probably wont return because of the experience and I found out contacts and glasses are significantly less expensive online....Seriously though the office manager said we expect you to know what your insurance plan covers (which I did since called my insurance provider and reviewed my plan online before my appointment...But how would a patient know about a service if it (1) wasnt disclosed by the provider that it was being rendered to the patient (2) wasnt disclosed by the provider there is a fee assoicated with the service that is not covered by insurance plan? I mean the office made sure I knew about the $19 retinal imaging fee before I could even sechedule the appointment but i guess they forgot about the other fees.Finally once i go to settle the order the optician asks the op tech if my contacts are ready and she replies we always have them in stock but he didnt pay for them in front of the entire office and waiting room (she obviously didnt know actually I just paid for them before I came in to order my glasses or maybe she did know and doesnt have professional tact) but that interaction was the final straw which led me to write this review. Overall experience...N for needs improvement
Dr. George Shida truly listens to his patients. I have always had issues wearing contacts with an astigmatism and he took the time to figure out why they were not comfortable, which lead to me wearing my glasses everyday. He sat down and trialed multiple brands of contact until he found the one that fit best. I was very impressed. Thank you!

Top Notch! Highly recommend! I was experiencing some blurred vision and discomfort in one of my eyes and scheduled a same day appointment. Dr. Patel took care of me and was able to diagnose my condition after an eye exam. It was a relief knowing exactly what it was and it would only be a matter of time before my vision gets back to normal. Dr. Patel is the best!
I really like Eye 1st Vision! They are very thorough and knowledgeable. From the moment I walk in the door, the experience is awesome! I can get my eyes checked and then go over to the optical center to choose from the vast array of glasses! Its pretty awesome.

As a new patient, I found everyone in this facility to be very kind, efficient, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough--the staff answered all my questions with a lot of thought and care. I worked in the optical industry for many years and came across numerous eye care practitioners but very few who come close to Dr. Shida. My vision is terrible and complicated by other issues. I was unable to wear contact lenses for years until Dr. Shida. He is an excellent clinician. He takes the time to work with his patients and find the best solution to fit your needs. He sees all four in our family. Each of us has very different needs. My daughter sees Dr. Shida for Corneal Refractive Therapy, CRT. These lenses not only keep her from needing to wear glasses or contacts during the day, but they also have stopped the progression of her myopia. Dr. Shidas years of experience and dedication to cutting edge technology and vision solutions make for a great combination.His practice goes well beyond just him. He hires licensed opticians, not a requirement in GA, who can help one select a frame that suits your lifestyle needs, type of prescription, and budget. Having been educated and licensed in opticianry, his optical staff knows how to troubleshoot a pair of glasses, make the necessary adjustments, and deal with complex prescriptions. Having a qualified optical staff is rare these days. The optical department has current (not closeout) frames to meet each persons budget. The big-box stores cannot compete with this winning combo.

Dr. Shida is a great doctor, I came in one day with an excruciating pain in my eye, chemical got inside my contact while cleaning my bathroom sink!! Yes, my cornea was burned. I was dying in pain. Dr. Shida was a life saver, took me in right-away, his staff so caring. Very professional they even followed up after hours to see how I was recovering.

Great experience. Doctor Patel and the office staff were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Patel diagnosed me quickly with an eye infection and gave me the right advice and medicine to take care of it. The office is located in a super easy location right off the Sandy Springs exit of 400 and has free underground parking.
I had gone out of town for a wedding and completely forgot to bring my daily wear contacts. Luckily Eye 1st Vision Center is open on Saturdays and were able to call in my prescription to a local Wal-Mart for me to pick up. Their staff is so friendly and helpful, I recommend them to everybody!

When my oldest son needed a spare pair of glasses for an overseas trip, Steve found an affordable way to help us get what we needed. He also took the time to repair and make sure his other pair would last while he was away. I usually dont take time to make comments, but Eye First really deserves and big THANK YOU!!

My husband and I have been patients of Eye 1st Vision Center for years now and have no plans to go anywhere else. We’ve moved further away and still make time to go to Eye 1st. Everyone there is cordial, accommodating and their service is incomparable! Dr. Shida, the Optometrist, is very professional and efficient! When Dr. Shida starts his examinations, you know this is a doctor you can trust!Ibis is the Optician we met with on our first visit years ago and have continued to make appointments to see him. If there’s a day that he is not available, one of the other Opticians will see us. (They are all very helpful and friendly) and you cannot go wrong with Vanisha! She is so sweet, patient and calm. In reference to Ibis - in a word Ibis is wonderful! We feel like we’re visiting with a friend. He is an expert in his field and is so kind, considerate, attentive and he makes sure you’re satisfied before you leave. I cannot say enough about how much he cares for his patients! I was finally done living without my frames and scheduled a last minute annual exam. Everything from the front desk staff to the young woman who handled the preliminary work to Dr. Shida was excellent. They did an amazing job. Ive only been wearing glasses for about 10 years, but out of the last five places I went to, these folks finally got it right. Technology is state of the art, frames are very stylish, it may cost a little more, but it is totally worth it.
Such a great office - all of the staff are kind and knowledgeable. Ive seen both doctors, and they are both great. Great selection of frames, and prescription lenses are ready super fast.
Overall experience was good at the day of the checkup BUT! When I went back to get my shades with prescription lenses, they denied to give me the original lenses that came with the RayBan giving me unreasonable reasons saying my insurance do not provide it. But my friend also has the insurance from the same provider (he has silver and I have Gold plan) and he got the proper kit with the original lenses. Not sure why I was told it was not covered. Also, the tinting that was done was not good. Right lens has more darker tint than the left one and it creates unpleasant viewing.So it was sort of a rip off and they lied about the original lenses. My personal experience was not good so I am not going to go there ever in future.
The only thing I would suggest is friendlier and more helpful people in the vision center to help you find a nice pair of glasses. I couldve used some help picking them out. I now have a pair that doesnt really fit very good. But for $400 I guess Im stuck wearing them til next time. Its my own fault but it wouldve been nice to have some look at them and give a professional opinion on them.

I went because of all the positive reviews -- but I found George Shida to be pompous and arrogant. Very poor bedside manner. After he left the room, I had to wait 15 minutes before a staff person asked me what I was waiting for -- I told her to have my eyes dilated. They moved me to another room then waited another 20 minutes before Shida walked in. He forgot to dilate my eyes in the other room. Try somewhere else!
I just took my 10 year old here and we were super happy with the visit and all of the staff. Dr. Trivedi was wonderful! I will be returning for my own eye exam.

Very disappointing experience with Eye 1st Vision. From start to finish, they were more concerned with money than me. I asked several questions over the phone, and again in person, regarding the nature of my visit and correlating costs. I was never given a straight answer until I contested the bill I received in the mail. Long story short, I had a medical issue (conjunctivitis), and insurance does not pay anything before my deductible is met (as opposed to a typical eye exam). Of course, this was explained to me only AFTER the examination, even though I specifically asked how the nature of my visit affected costs.This resulted in $190 bill (plus $75 for a prescription) to get rid of pink eye. No samples taken, blood tests, or anything unusual. $190 to diagnose pink eye. Dr. Patel also needed me to return later in the week to track progress, presumably for another $190. Thanks for offering; I declined. I was charged $105 on the spot, and sent a bill in the mail for $85 more. I spoke with Patricia, the office manager, about the situation, and she took off the refraction exam cost of $30 because Im a special customer. Patricia was condescending. I guess she can afford to be that way working for the best eye center in Atlanta according to her.I can add more, but am exhausted even thinking about Eye 1st.
The selection of glasses is exceptional. I was assisted by two people who were incredibly helpful and really listened to what I said I was looking for. I am excited about my purchase and cant wait to get my new glasses!
I ordered my sunglasses with Oakley frame and it had dent on right by screw joint. Also color of lenses are not even. I claimed and hardly get new frame, but still have uneven colored lense. I had bad experience with them.

I started this process in June this year. Due to strenuous work hrs, It made it extremely difficult to go in for follow-ups. Although my schedule was crazy, Ive never experienced so many follow-ups in getting my prescription right for contacts. And because this process had grown so long I began to experience a lot of tension and frustration from some of the staff and the Dr. Finally we wrapped that process up with what seem to be a decent pair of contacts, so I finally had an opportunity to pick glasses. This was probably the worst part of the experience because the entire time I was treated like a criminal. The Spanish guy was not helpful, provided no guidance or feedback, however every time I moved somewhere he followed and when I took a pair of glasses off the shelf he would check them and lock the case back. I only wear one brand of glasses RayBans and I spent most of my time there. The case was full however, the Spanish man made it his duty to pretend he was working in that case so he could watch what I was doing. Once I found some glasses and asked for his help, he was the least bit attentive, I was adjusting on my OWN. Finally, frustration grew and I shared my experience with the office manager and she assured he was the best and all the review say and was having a bad day and to try it again. I did. Once the Office Manager grabbed his attention, he still wasnt helpful, he was just there bc she was, then he obviously overheard my rant because he said he was only in the case with me to add more glasses, the entire case was filled when I was over there looking, he did not replace nor added anything. So, I just left it alone and tried to be a good sport bc the Office lady was very kind. Then the Spanish guy whole family shows and slowing down my process to purchase glasses. So, now, I cant get what I need accomplished because hes attending to his children. Kids are cute but not in the workplace when ppl are short on time. I was so annoyed I selected 3 and told them I would come back later that wk. Came back the next wk was not greeted by the Spanish guy, completely ignored me, the other lady helped me pick my glasses. 2wks later The glasses were ready for pickup but they looked completely different from the ones I tried on. I tried to explain this to the Indian girl that finally decided to come and help but I couldnt get a word out bc she kept cutting me off. No one seem to know anything and the Spanish guy that runs that area was not there. So I was told they were going to order the same pair to see if there was a difference, but its been 2 wks now and Ive heard nothing. The office manager call a few days ago and of all this left a voicemail asking me why my glasses were still there... Shouldnt her staffer have notified her of why they were still there. That VM was a clear indication that they did not do what they said they were going to do.. I just called today, was placed on hold and sent to VM. Its been 4wks and still no update... I would not recommend this company.

They sold me extremely cheap glasses. The lenses lost the top layer of film which caused a huge smudge. The lock of the temple later broke off when I simply took my glasses off. DO NOT BUY GLASSES FROM THEM, THEY ARE EXTREMELY CHEAP
Went in for a regular eye exam to get prescription. Told them I am using my insurance to buy contacts on my own and they were really pushy about buying through them and took forever just to get exam and kept trying to upsell me and pitch why I need to change contacts when I said I was happy with my current contacts.

I really hate posting Google reviews, and Im brutally honest in even surveys, which i prefer. But Dr. Patel was the best I could hope for. Shes incredible. So kind as calming. I would drive an hour to see her... I might in the future.

I have been to a lot of different eye docs and the testing that they did and the way everything was explained to me was better than ever. Nothing was sugar coated and I like that. I like straight forward information. Best office I have ever been too hands down. I will definitely be back after my deployment. Thanks for everything. 2022-07-30Getting there was easy. Front desk check-in was smooth and bright. Katherine was engaging, approachable and showed genuine interest in hearing my needs to make the process easy. Perfect balance of personal + professional. The diverse staff was refreshing to see.Kelly, the Optometrist, was energetic, knowledgable and caring as she listened to my concerns + explained every little part of the process along with the why behind the different components of the exam. She was joyful + expressed true concern as I explained my night vision worries + focus issues. She even triple checked other tests for accuracy + it helped put my mind at ease. She gave me different options that were of similar qualities + fit, but ranged in price so that I could choose what was best for my budget. Overall the experience was very great, it was my first time visiting a new doctor in over 5 years and Kelly is definitely going to be my annual eye exam stop from now on!

The staff is simply amazing, from the front desk check in to the doctor and the young lady that helped me pick out a new pair of glasses, very professional and great attitude. 2022-04-06This was a fantastic visit. The entire staff was very attentive and polite. I never felt rushed, or forgotten about. Dr. Jakupovic is truly phenomenal! She took the time to explain as she was assessing, answered all my questions, and went extra steps that I had not experienced anywhere else. My vision hasnt changed, however I feel like it might as well have, since Ill likely be seeing better than ever before! Thanks Dr. J. and the whole team.

2022-08-28Dr. J is as fabulous as the other reviews indicate. She is meticulous, completely patient-focused, warm and friendly. She had me try on 3-4 pairs of different contact lenses then waited for them to adjust to my eyes, then tested the proper fit every time until we found exactly the right ones. This took much more than any other eye doctor would have given me! One tip about the practice: don’t be late for your appt. While they are gracious and give you a 15-minute grace period, it merely means that they will try to fit you in around other patients before taking you back (which for me meant waiting an hour). I thought the pricing for the care and service I got from this practice was extremely reasonable. Will def. return here.

2022-06-30My husband and I had our first visit yesterday at Eye 1st Vision Center. It was a very positive experience. The staff was very professional. Dr. J. was pleasant and informative. We both received excellent help in choosing our new glasses. The facility is very nice and comfortable. All good!!!

2022-07-01Ive been going to Eye 1st for years. Dr. Shida is incredible - he is friendly and professional. The staff is top notch and when I cant see Dr. Shida, Dr. J always takes great care of me. The doctors always take time to explain everything and what to expect with my eyes as I get older. When Ive got to buy glasses, the eye glasses boutique has a great selection with great staff to help select frames and lenses. I highly recommend Eye 1st for all of your vision care needs!

2022-05-10I called the office yesterday about a previous order for contacts and the representatives were very friendly and helpful. It was also easy to put in another order with them and they took take care of the rest of the process with my new insurance. Definitely recommend this office for any of your vision needs!

2022-07-28First off I’ve been coming to this office for over 4 year. However, since they’ve hired a whole new staff. Not sure what’s going on but I waited for almost 30 minutes past my appointment time to see someone. No one has any sense of urgency, the entire appointment took almost 3 hours. My last appointment was with Dr. Heren and she is very abrasive and short. I will definitely be changing Offices for sure.
