Definitely the best Irish pub weve found in the states. We had a blast talking with the bartender who is from Ennis, county Limerick. Found our new home away from home. Covid canceled our most recent trip to Ireland and we almost cried when we walked in and felt a little Irish nostalgia.
First time going here last night. I expected a more variety of food choices but this could be because of covid 19 . The waitress was very attentive our drinks were never empty. She checked on us in a regular intervals. The food was really good. Portions are good as well. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really pleasant. They have diffent choices of sitting areas .
A group of us came last night for dinner, drinks, and trivia. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Our waitress was rude and we felt like a bother to her. The portions of fish and chips were so small that my friends described it as one fish stick. While we were excited to visit, it was really disappointing service. I attempted to contact them about this but never received a reply.
Bottomless mimosas and sangrias are what brought me here, fried goat cheese is what will keep me returning! It was a nice atmosphere, decent music and service. We had a fun first experience here and Ill definitely return!Edit: no more fried goat cheese, but its still pretty good. Bring back my fave!
Always a great neighborhood bar. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean and orderly. The food is great! I love the friend chicken tenders, which are super friend making them better than ordinary chicken fingers. I also enjoy the huge soft pretzel. I had the kale salad with chicken one night and that was also delicious. We like the beer specials and the selection. We have tried a variety of beers here and its always great service.Stay for the trivia or watching a game!
My husband and I love to have our date nights here. Its always a good space to relax and just enjoy each others company. The food is really good here. Were obsessed with the goat cheese balls. I could eat them everyday. If youre looking for a calm evening, dont go during a game lol. We love the energy when theres a good game going on while we have our date. Staff is always really attentive and nice. We had an older gift card that no longer worked with their new system, and they honored the value and we really appreciated that.
Ive only been here on game days, but the atmosphere is electric. Alex is awesome! She remembered my name and drink of choice on my second visit. The service is fast and friendly. Ive tried a few different food items, as well, and theyve been great! I would highly recommend this place!
Great place to grab a bite for breakfast or lunch. It’s easily within walking distance of the Fox Theater with cheap parking in between. It’s about a half mile door to door. The menu was small, but everything was very good. The decorations, employee dress, and thematic choices for Halloween were unexpected and phenomenal.
Delicious food and nice crowd. We ordered bottomless mimosas and was the first time I had that it was nice. We also ordered buttermilk, egg Benedict and chipotle chicken tinga and they turned out to be delicious and I had the entire meal without leaving out any of it.
Well, I was already a fan of Fado but Bree had the Mojitos served up perfectly. This will now be my new mojito spot. You also cannot go wrong with the international football games they always show. Mitchell was our server and didnt miss a beat. The professionalism at this place is evident. I highly recommend!
YUM! My husband and I LOVE Fado. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is authentic and fun, and theres always something going on! The wait staff could have stepped out of Cheers, theyre so friendly and welcoming. If youre new to the area like us and looking for a good pub, look no further! Oh ya! Dont forget to try the cheese dip and wedges!
This was a terrible experience by any measure. We had to wait for 10 min until our server finally showed up and only after we went to the bar and asked for one. She was extremely rude, charged us normal prices even though it was a happy hour and worst of all she took our parking ticket to validate but didnt do and we had to pay $14 dollars for the parking. I wish I could give negative stars.
Decent pub in a lovely part of midtown ATL.Servers were friendly, the food was on par for pub food, and the Irish mule tasted decent and was pleasantly strong.Only complaint was the prices, which were a little high.Overall a good place for a drink and a comfortable meal.
Nice location. Decent friendly service and the beers are tasty. RiRa has better food. If you sit on the porch be prepared for aggressive panhandlers off the street.Double stack Cheeseburger special is lame which adds insult to injury b/c Vortex is in view as you choke it down. The Bride liked the Irish pancakes.
The drinks and the food were great, I would definitely recommend any of their mules. I have come here a couple of times and have always had fast service and personable servers. The pretzel is HUGE and the cheese sauce for it was amazing! It is located next to a Sweet Hut, which is also open late so its a perfect combination.
Maybe it was because I was there on a Saturday with 2 kids, and we wanted to sit outside under the construction crane... And they were super busy on the inside... We felt like we had to wait longer than most on our food... However, the waitress was friendly and I would have given them a 5 star rating... But Im 1 star mad at how expensive it was... :/Seriously, though... Great restaurant... Very high prices. (Just my personal opinion)
I am not generally a franchise-pub kind of person. Usually this leads to a place trying to hard to be authentic. But that wasnt a problem at Fado, it could have been a locally owned quaint pub and I wouldnt have known the difference. Their Guinness pour was top rate, and the skillet chips were delicious.
Best place in Atlanta to get a whiskey sour is right here. They mix it properly, with egg white and bitters. Ive had the pleasure of eating here a number of times and never ordered anything that wasnt mouth watering! The fish tacos are excellent, the pretzel with beer cheese is delicious, but the one that really takes the cake is the shepards pie! It comes with a cold kale and barley salad in a jar thats such an excellent light compliment to the heaviness of the meat, veggies and potatoes of shepards pie. Their bread pudding is particularly delectable, with a healthy scoop of ice cream on top. Delicious! Part of what makes their food so great is the fresh ingredients, but the rest is a series of well balanced flavors on the plate and stellar service.
Bottomless mimosas are very good, atmosphere might just be better. But at the end of the day, I don’t know what my star review would be if it were for Jen, our waitress. Long after I forget the minute details, I’ll still remember what might just be the best service I’ve ever had. Ask for her if you can and ask for a discount if you don’t get her!
This place is amazing!!!!! We had a group of 7 and had been looking for a place to grab lunch on New Years Eve but every time we walked into a spot the wait time was over 45 minutes. We walked into 4 other places before we walked into Fado and let me tell you, we were NOT disappointed!!!! We were seated immediately and were able to make brunch! Hello bottomless mimosas!! Haha Their menu is great! Everyone can definitely find something to eat!! I had the shepherds pie and WOW!!!!! Sooooooo good! It comes with a little salad but come on, were here for the main event! Hehe definitely one of my favorite parts about visiting Atlanta!! Will definitely be back next time Im in town!! Thank youuuuu
Went here for dinner last night and it wasn’t as highly rated as everyone says it is. For starters, they say they close at 12 AM, so we thought this would be a good place to go for college football. Show up a bit earlier than our 7 PM reservation and I’m glad we did because the kitchen closed at 7 and last call for drinks was shortly after. We were so confused, but decided to eat here anyway. My fiancée got his beer no problem, but my Moscow mule took forever. One of the waitresses came over and exclaimed that it’s because the guy is new and insinuated he’s not the best. Anyway, food was pretty good, but it’s hard to mess up a burger in my opinion. Long story short, call before you go to check the true hours. People were watching soccer so seems like it’s a good sports environment for some people.
Came for quiz night which was pretty neat. Ordered a German lager and it came with the associated glassware from that brewer, which was a really nice touch. I ordered the shepherd pie which was one of the lower priced food items and it was excellent. Im excited to come back next month for trivia.
Good food, great environment, nitrous in your Guinness, and definitely try their chicken quesadillas because they are literally from Heaven. The mixed drinks are pretty good too and the vibe is always nice.Only issue is parking but thats not really there is she was much as its an issue for being in downtown or Midtown. You cant really expect much more than that. Great date spot and great Friday night unlimited mules.
Classic Irish Pub with a thorough drink selection. Fantastic pub food and a surprisingly good brunch menu. Bottomless mimosas and my personal favorite, Bottomless sangria are a brunch staple that keeps us coming back. Plenty of daily specials and events during the week. Overall a great casual Irish pub experience.
This is an interesting restaurant, actually this is a chain the the United States. You can order British food there, like Fish and Chips or goat cheese. They have a good selection of English beer and ales, however, it would be hard to get drafted local IPA there. Anyway, it is a good place for a dinner with friends.
I had a reservation today for 12:45 pm for the patio. The hostess clearly did not care. She walked to the patio, walked back to the hostess stand very slowly, looked at the hostess iPad, walked back to the patio, and then walked just as slowly back to where I was standing. She informed me it would be 30 minutes before we could be seated. We left and found another restaurant for brunch. You shouldn’t let people book reservations if you aren’t going to honor them.
At first, they obviously promote “bottomless mimosas”. How do you get your $17 worth of bottomless mimosas if your waitress doesn’t come to your table and continuously refill? Yes we want refills, minimum 3 times but when you are sitting there waiting on your 4th or 5th mimosa for 30 minutes, that doesn’t cut it. I preferably would like the money that I paid for. Now I’m thirsty and do not feel like I’m getting my $17 worth of mimosas. You want to tip your waitress/waiter well bc it’s their job but ITS A SATURDAY WHAT ELSE DO YOU EXPECT FOR A BOTTOMLESS SATURDAY? That’s all. Not happy.
This restaurant and bar is just what I needed today. I am new to the Midtown, Atlanta area and was recommended by someone to eat at Fado. I had the Signature Old Fashioned accompanied by the fish and wedges; my drink and meal were delicious. My date had draft Guinness and the fish and wedges. She said her meal was delicious, too, alongside her smooth drink. Damon was a huge help and incredibly courteous. I will definitely frequent this restaurant because of their reliably great food and drinks, and also because of Damons hospitality.
Great place for drinks on a Saturday night. The service was great and the drinks were delicious. We had Irish car bombs, Irish breakfast shots and Irish coffee. The first Irish coffee had some grounds in it but they exchanged it with no problems and it was great. The live band started playing around 9:30/10ish and they were great!
Horrible customer service experience. We went on a Sunday night at 9:15p with a party of 7. Our waitress was very rude with us from the moment we got into the pub. We all ordered the same drinks and she gave the impression she was very inconvenienced by us being there at all. Even the other staff there was never very attentive, even though they were extremely slow. The ambiance was nice and their menu is extensive, but I would never go back knowing how poorly we were treated while there.
I have been here many, many times. The food is always delicious no matter what time of day and the service is good, not always great, but good. The beer is way too expensive. Awesome atmosphere and decorations inside. Friday/Saturday night DJ plays way to much Bieber and I even like Bieber... I go here a lot for weekly Trivia which is the best in Midtown but the same team always plays and wins which is annoying. However, I cannot fault Fado for this. Overall I do like this place, but the drinks are just too expensive for me. I like eating here.
Food was awesome and came out quickly. Service was great and friendly. Sat outside on a cold day and it was so nice because they have heaters in the ceilings. The staff was really great with our kids as well. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great time you all! Well definitely be back. 😊
Stopped in for a late night nosh. Staff were friendly and attentive. Our food came quickly and was apparently super tasty. No morsels were left behind. The space was clean and comfy. My only recommendation would be to turn down the music. Pub crowds come for the company and not the music.
This was a stop on Taco Crawl event Saturday and I was pretty excited about this one in particular. Unfortunately, they didnt seem to be too ready for us from a service perspective even though they were well aware of the event that day, but the marg and taco were good!
Went in on a whim and had some fish tacos and a black berry bramble. The food was delicious, the drink was awesome, my hostess was very informative and the manager (i think) was very helpful in the fact that she instructed me how to make the drink because it was being discontinued for the season.Came in as the kitchen was closing and got my food quickly and it was very fresh and tasty. Very clean and fancy spot, had a wonderful time. Absolutely coming back.
It was a crowded Friday evening, but our hostess went the extra mile to get us seated. Then we enjoyed the personalized and caring service of Damon, our waiter. Id describe the food as upscale tavern fare, and they had a DJ pumping out eclectic tunes. Not sure if I really felt the Irish much other than my pint of Guinness, but we sure had a good time.
Good food, the corn beef and cabbage was delicious. The Sheppards pie lacked a little something but overall was delicious. If I had to put my finger on it, it would be that the pie needed some crust and more veggies in the mix of the meat. Overall everything was good and worth another trip back
Theres a reason why their best two bartenders left. Some random guy thats left, yelled at me because I told an innocent joke (that everyone laughed at) at last call. When he asked me to leave, everyone around me looked at me as if to say we dont understand. Stay away from this place! I WILL be calling their HQ about this location.
Service was great, very friendly, and attentive. Staff was on top of the ball. Food was very good. The atmosphere is corporate, Irish pub lite. Biggest complaint was the kitchen needs additional ventilation. Smells of cooking were very noticeable and I am not talking about the good food smells. I did not like leaving smelling of the kitchen.
We came here on a Friday night prior to seeing a comedy show at The Laughing Skull and it was packed. The food was good, we got burgers and fries, and the drinks were good too. There was a DJ setting up as we were leaving so it may become even more lively as the night continues.
I went back to Fado for Premier League Super Sunday and I thought I should leave a review because of how well it was handled. Its the last day of the English Premier League and usually chaotic with multiple simultaneous soccer games, but Fado was extremely well organized and friendly. They helped us sit at the best spot based on which teams we wanted to watch, and had planned ahead to prevent Comcast outages. All the management and staff were in sync and I was really impressed. The food was also even better than usual! They have a new menu and portions were larger and tastier. I will say I have never liked their brunch potatoes, and this time was no improvement unfortunately.Fado is increasingly becoming my location of choice to take large groups for soccer games in midtown. Awesome job!
Great drinking pub, with all my Irish favorites on tap. Id love it if a simple corned beef and cabbage dinner was brought back, but the other pub food is tasty. Great for watching soccer matches, provided there is a seat available as thats when this place gets full. Great atmosphere and interesting patrons to go round.
Their chicken tenders with honey mustard were the unexpected star of our evening. Theyre so juicy! They battered them like you would with fish and chips which made them light and tender. Their whiskey selection is top notch as to be expected and they offer quite a few flights if youre interested in trying new things. A fantastic place to spend your night.
I ordered a double stack cheeseburger. The bread was hard and the meat was dripping in grease. It definitely wasnt worth the $15. My friend ordered a cocktail and the glass he drank from smelt of fish. The place is cool overall except for the executing of the food. Maybe it was because we ordered an hour before close? Who knows.
We came in for lunch around 2pm on a Monday, and the place only had a few other tables seated. The server, Randolph, was very helpful and attentive, being there when we needed him, and absent when we were wanting to enjoy our food. We tried the curry chips, and they were fantastic! Well have them again the next time were here. I tried the shepards pie, but it turned out to be cottage pie instead. I dont mind that it was beef instead of lamb, but its kinda like calling something a chicken sandwich and it being turkey. It was still very good, and Id definitely get it again. My girlfriend got the mini burgers, and they were all great. We were highly satisfied with our meal, and will be back.
Really nice spot. I dont really get the feel of an Irish Pub, though. It is pretty swanky on the inside and doesnt really have the trimmings of a pub. This is more of an American style fancy sports bar. Dont get me wrong, it is clean, the staff is super friendly and attentive, and there are nice views with great natural light. The seating is comfortable and their are good views of very nice TVs in almost every seat. If you are looking to hang out in a public house there are better options, but if you are looking to take in a game at a nice, comfortable spot with clean bathrooms and professional staff, then Fado definitely fits the bill.
The atmosphere of this place is nice and its in a good location. Went on a Saturday and they had a minimal brunch menu with a few select lunch options. The avocado toast was okay; would have liked some seasoning on the avocado before placing the other ingredients on top of it. Didnt have any of the bottomless mimosas but others seemed to be enjoying them. Probably wouldnt return since the menu didnt have a lot for my liking.
I highly recommend this pub. Good food and superb drink selection, draft beer has many great choices. Great for sport, management will put on any game or match, brilliant for sport fans! Great staff; Rachel, Genvieve and Barry have served us before and they are all amazing individuals! They definitely keep the pub successful!!Looking forward to our next visit!
A decent place for a few drinks over sports, or for a bite to eat. The staff if excellent, friendly, and efficient. The menu is a bit small, but should serve most folks with a few varying tasty options.Folks looking for a romantic venue or a place for meetings should look elsewhere as the place is generally quite loud.
Every time I go here, whether it be for a corporate event, happy hour, or dinner, I always have great food, service, and drinks. The same woman works all of the private events I’ve held here, and she is amazing! She is extremely attentive and takes care of each person at the event like they are the only guest.
Fades downtown was an absolute treasure today. Everyone was social distancing and wore their masks even when getting up to go to the washroom! Get the jerk or barbeque wings like we did with a Harp beer. You wont be disappointed. The parking is one block down, but it was $12.
I have been there several times before and had excellent service and food. Today was much different. Erika was our server who spent more time standing in the kitchen completely visible to the guests in the dining room looking at her phone and sipping on her drinks. Tables were cluttered with empty drink glasses and dirty dishes. Her attitude was sarcatic, rude and abrasive. When guests at tables got frustrated waiting on service, she would come out with an attitude and be difficult to deal with.Today, I would say that Fados lacks proper management, and professional staff. The food, while excellent is undermined by the poor customer service and lack of professionalism. One bad server can ruin a customers experience.
Great place for some good and different kind of bar food. Nice and open restaurant and friendly staff. Great place to go grab food, drinks, or even catch a game on one of their many flat screens throughout the restaurant. Does get busy of weekends and during events. Overall a great place to shoot the shot with friends or family. Highly recommend!
Very decent. The cocktails were remarkably well executed but ordered a literal appetizer of fries that took about 30 minutes to hit the table. I was very disappointed with the cold 4oz serving that wasnt even enough to utilize the sauces that came as options. The chips+sauces is only big enough for 3 or less.
Very difficult to negotiate the entrance with a wheelchair but cause the sidewalk at the top of the steps is so narrow. Also we visited on a Friday evening around 7 and they had just a few tables that are wheelchair accessible. They were all full and the person said they were all reserved and we would need to eat outside. However, people were being seated at the tables that had bar stools. This location has many more bar stools and they have regular tables that would be wheelchair accessible.
I came at the perfect time and got awesome service by Jamie! It was about lunch time and I dont go out often but he helped me pick Wat to eat like the boxy burrito and the farm house salad, and the drink I got was a strawberry mimosa. Every thing sang to my taste of buds and I was very happy Ill gladly go back. The do validation for parking up to an hour from the metropolitan parking deck, that was a weird deck and I believe it was above an apartment complex.
Came here for a Irish Pub hopping date with my girlfriend. Will be coming back again. We were seated in the Whiskey Room, which we loved the furniture and decor. I had my Guinness, and she had the Strawberry Mule, both of which were excellent. We sampled the soft pretzel with the whole grain mustard and cheese sauce.Excellent service, food, drink and environment. We WILL be repeat customers.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta. I particularly like their weekend brunch. They have an awesome traditional Irish Breakfast, great coffee, and delicious quick breads. Their Reuben is also ridiculously good. Great beer selection as well...and they serve Crabbies! Always crowded but rarely ever a wait.
Been looking for a good Irish pub since our local joint closed down. We finally found it! Our waiter had an extensive knowledge of the food and alcohol menus. I had the best burger of my life at this place! It changed me. Dont believe me? Try Fado Irish Pub for yourself!
If you want good bar food with a decent beer selection, this is a great place to come. It can get a little busy on weekends but the staff does their best to make sure youre taken care of. If you go for happy hour with friends, get a few apps for half off and that should fill everyone up.
Two major problems with this so called Irish pub. First the food was below par especially the $12.95 Rubin sandwich. It was served cold and consisted of two tough pieces of meat between two slices of soggy bread. And my friends $15 hamburger was over cooked, dry and came with a bad after taste, probably old meat. Then the parking for their patrons was absolutely terrible! They hire a parking company to boot peoples cars and charge $75 to remove this boot even if you are 2 minutes late. Its one of the rudest things you can do to your paying customers. The management should be ashamed to have such a rude rip off company treating there customers this way. Three cars right next to mine were booted because they were 5-10 minutes late and the company made $225 off these paying customers. They make 10 times more money off the booting than they do off their poor quality food thats for sure. You can find a much better bar to spend your money at than this imitation Irish pub.
Though we always have a good time here - great food, many wine and whiskey options, ATL United games on screens that can be seen from anywhere in the restaurant - this last time was particularly awesome. I am over the moon about the new spring menu options. Ordered the lamb meatballs over cauliflower purée and was blown away! Would love to see that become a regular item. It seemed like everyone around us was trying out the seasonal sides and salads. Service was fantastic too! Give this place a try. It’s so much more than just pub grub.
Order the soup of the day. They have great soups. The fish and chips the irish breakfast the corned beef/cabbage are excellent. Their lamb sandwich with lamb au jus is also top quality. Very nice atmosphere. Sports TV with no sound. Very personable servers. I always sit at very nice, big bar....
The staff was friendly. I went on a weekday night and couldnt hear anyone over the loud (random) music. I was little disappointed that there was a twist on Irish classics... but it was still good either way. My only complaint would be the music. My positive would be the staff.
Not up to par from previous visits, portions were very small and waitress was very slow to wait on us. We had a to go order as well and that was just slop dumped in a contained. Obvious she didnt care about that. $80 for 3 people to it for crappy, crappy food and service was simply ridiculous. I expected much, much more. If portions have gotten smaller and portions have turned into dog food, theyve lost a customer. I mean really.......
Pros: decent cocktails. Reasonably priced. Ferri were good.Cons: the obnoxious, terrible DJ was blaring so much bass that my water glass was rattling. It permeated every room in the restaurant. Couldnt have a conversation at my outdoor table because the blown out speaker behind me was causing so much noise. My ears rang for the whole ride home. The bacon burger was bland as hell, and the sliders were dry.
Fado is solid choice for your evening and sports game viewing needs. The staff is usually fairly attentive and the atmosphere is great during prominent football matches. Expect to pay a little bit more for the Irish Pub aesthetic. They validate parking in the deck of the same building. Large groups can also rent out the back room space for corporate mixers or other special occasions.
Stopped in on St Paddys Day. The other Irish Pub in the area, Ri Ra, was charging $15 cover for their outdoor band. This place was of course packed, but had good energy and they were doing pretty good serving people. Had an outdoor area as well, but was pretty cool this year.
A lively, joy filled bar and restaurant. The Irish music is loud. The waiters are friendly, knowledgeable and anxious to please. The meals are modern Irish eclectic. Corn beef, vegan appetizers and a vegetarian burger on the same menu. And theyre all good. Patio seating, under heaters, is available. Wheelchair accessable although a bit tight, including bathrooms.
Ive been here a few times & never seem to get good service. Theyve left me sitting as if they forgot about me 2x I went here. I walked out the 2nd time when I noticed people of a different race were served better & quicker. They didnt even bring me water or a menu before others arrived. This place is mainly frequented by older, white business people. I walked next door to Taco Mac & got much better service. Fado is 1 of the few places on my list to avoid in Atlanta. I felt uncomfortable & unwanted by staff. If youre not a minority its nothing, but if you are Id advise against this place.
Yasssssssss! Yummy food (well worth the price), kind and friendly staff, and despite being a casual seat-yourself-kind-of-place, we were treated like VIP. Our server, Jamari, was knowledgeable and anticipated our needs before we asked. Absolutely wonderful. I wish we had a Fabó in our hometown.
Dont come for events / ufc fights. I got there over an hour early to try to get a seat at the bar. Upon getting my seat I was told my chair was being taken away and I could stand or go sit in a corner away from the tvs.I left and got a great seat at Hudson Grille across the street
I always enjoy Fado. The food is great and the service is generally good as well. I dont think I will ever get tired of boxties! While this location is good, I do prefer the food and ambience of the Buckhead location a bit more.If you have plans afterwards (the Fox, for example), you can easily walk from here.
Updated review from 3/20/17Ive dropped my rating of this place from 4 stars down to 1, because of our most recent visit. There were only a few people sitting at the bar when we arrived, around 2:30pm. As soon as we entered, the blonde lady who was tending bar (and a blonde lady with glasses, who we assume to be a manager) asked us where we wanted to sit and told us that the front area was set up for a party set to arrive at 7pm (!) We opted for a booth near the windows. We were shocked to see how the menu here has changed since we were here last year. Its so much more Americanized, which is really disappointing. Also, the volume of the music here during lunch time is really silly. It doesnt need to be blasting loud to begin with, but when there is only a handful of people in here...yeah, its really unnecessary.Apparently, the barkeep was the only person waiting tables, too.We became upset when it took her several minutes, to come and take our order. (Again, there was hardly anyone else here!) I was just about to get up and ask her for the bill for our drinks, pay and leave, when she finally decided to take our lunch order. When she brought our appetizer, she asked if we needed our parking validated. We said yes, but we stupidly didnt realize at the time that she had only validated it for an hour! Because of how painfully slowwww the service was, our meal time was over TWO hours long. Rediculous! There are so many other pub type places in and around Atlanta. Were saddened that this Fado isnt even trying to keep people coming back anymore.
Nice decor, plentiful seating (inside and outside) and decent atmosphere. We went on a Monday evening, which explains why the Pub was almost empty. Good for us.Alcohol menu consisted of the usual - local and imported beers (bottle and draft), wines, whiskeys and a lot of cocktails to choose from. We ordered Scotch on the rocks and a classic whiskey based cocktail which was goodWe started with the chicken boxty quesadillas, which are basically Irish potato pancakes. They were quite interesting, different from the usual quesadillas but not too different eitherFor the mains, we ordered the Sandwich and Soup combo. Soup of the day was Tomato bisque, that wasnt too thick and was well made. The Sandwich was grilled chicken and bacon on a hoagie which was an unexpected surprise since we werent expecting much from itOverall, an evening well spent for usAs regards to the Pub, they have happy hour specials going on Mon - Fri from 4 - 7.We will definitely recommend this place for a few pints of beer and some decent bar food, especially if you want to spend an evening with your friends watching a game. Thats when this place comes alive, were sure

2022-07-06The food was very good. I had the fish and chips and ordered another piece of fish because it was so good. The chicken tenders were the best too and both were fried with beer batter.

2022-02-07Solid food, good service. We were quick to be seated on a busy night. Food is pricier than other locations but still pretty good. Good selection of beers/cocktails.

2021-10-18This place is so awesome!Even though it’s an Irish Pub, I felt welcomed & like I was revisiting family. Our host Ebony was Amazing! She showed us to our reserved table, helped us with the electronic menu and even let us make a song request with the DJ. So fun!Our food came out quickly, was delicious and definitely balanced our drinks out :)I will definitely be back. When in Downtown ATL, and you need and Irish Pub, GO HERE!

2021-10-14It was pretty slow afternoon in Fado. Lets start with the good. The bartender was friendly. The Shepherds Pie and Sliders were very good. The atmosphere is nice Irish pub standard. The bad. The drinks were terrible! Im not even sure there was alcohol in them. I left early because I couldnt get a decent drink.

2021-10-09What a fun spot! Comfortable place to hang out and get some tasty pub fair. Nice selection of local beers too. The Irish Breakfast was delicious-good savory flavors. Service was excellent! Cheers!

2021-09-23Our waitress was amazing and we never felt rushed when we our group caught up from time apart and forgetting to look at the menu. I ordered the fish and chips with the thick cut chips. Definitely recommend if you love potatoes. My uncle got the thin cut which were more traditional french fries. I also had the Irish Mule off of the Pub Quiz cocktail menu and it was by far my favorite mule cocktail I have ever had. Will definitely come back here for the food and atmosphere!
