Amazing store such high quality items there and very fresh!!!
We stopped in at Farm Fresh Beef & Produce on the way home today. Picked up some produce, a few pies, cheese, and a few jars of goodies. All organic, homemade by small producers. Very clean too. A bit of a drive for us, but we are definitely going back and putting this place into rotation. A fantastic little market with very nice folks!
Great beef but too much loss. We ordered a half of beef. We were told an estimate of a 20% loss for fat and bone. When we got our product we experienced a 46% loss. Paid for 252 got 137 lbs. We did order lean hamburger and didn’t want the tongue, heart or liver. That brought our price per to $8.25 per lb.On the positive side the beef itself is excellent. Way better than any grocery store but you pay for that high quality.
Just finished eating the brisket I got from you last week. AMAZING and so tender and full of flavor. Everything that we have purchased from you has been delicious. Thank you for offering a farm fresh meat and veggie alternative to what the larger grocery chains offer us! Veggies are so fresh and knowing how good they are for you [with no chemicals or whatever in them]- my family eats more of them and THAT is amazing! Thank you again for being there.
I bought raw milk from here, and let me say it’s delicious! It taste really fresh, and I haven’t broken out with acne that I usually do when consuming conventional pasteurized milk. The raw milk last about 2 weeks in the fridge, which gives me ample time to finish the one gallon amount that the store sells.
Excellent steaks. Their steaks are the best money can buy locally. I regularly have prime beef shipped from Kansas City Steaks (the best money can buy) and Farm Freshs are every bit as good and taste fresher. Their produce is great and staff if very friendly.
Stopped here today and my wife wanted to look for some fresh meat and cheese. She asked if he had beef liver and he stated that he had fresh and some frozen. She bought the frozen. Long story short, when we got home we found that the packages are marked Not for sale and the date on them was 7-21. Money thrown in the garbage. NOT FOR SALE means NOT FOR SALE TO THE PUBLIC!
Love this place. The fact that the meat is from thier farm to thier store. Using some of the ground beef tonight. And the gentleman from the family working the store today. Very nice man. Gave my little girl an ice cream cone. We will continue to buy our meats from here. A little higher in price, but not a fortune, but so worth the quilty and the piece of mind knowing just where its coming from.
Fantastic place to buy grass fed beef. Everyone is friendly and cares about the product they are selling. The produce is amazing but honestly, we go here for the beef. No matter how we cook it it is tender and delicious.
Went by today 8/25/18 just happened to be in the area picked up a dozen of eggs and they were $8 for a dozen seriously you can find organic eggs at Sams 18 count for $4 also bought some red wax cheese got home and the cheese had mold on it cut around the mold but the cheese had a horrible taste and smell to it. Dont waste your time and money here its over priced and not worth it.

Very disappointed in the steak, very old and tough. It was brown and had a smell. Its was also tough. Save yourself the money and go to furgusons. Heck Publix has a better steak than this place.
Worst decision ever made - 70% of the meat was ground beef - strip steak so tough we couldnt chew it - filets are barely 2 bites - ribeyes are all bone and fat - we could have gotten more for our $2500 at Costco - I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE PURCHASE 1/2 A COW FROM HERE - we seriously got ripped off, not even close to 480 pounds of beef!
Everyone is always very friendly here. Their meat and produce selection is great. If you have the opportunity, pick up some of their fresh peas, as theres nothing like them.

2022-02-01My husband’s boss purchased half a cow from here and gave them all steaks from it. They were so so good! The meat was tender and juicy and the flavor was amazing. I’ll be going by to pick up some steaks and eggs and probably some milk.

2022-06-09I stopped by here a few weeks ago (for the second time, first time was closed) and Ill tell ya, the skirt steak that I got was incredible. I havent had farm fresh beef in quite a while and I forgot how good it was. I also picked up a cowboy ribeye and NY strip. I try to cook skirts to their recommended suggestions for optimal tenderness, but skirts I always seem to miss the mark on. Well im SURE I missed the mark on cooking this, but it came out so incredibly tender. Hell I ate the leftovers and it was JUST as good as off the grill, still tender. 10/10 Ill be back.

2021-10-25So, I rarely write reviews, but had to on this place. BEST MEAT IVE EVER HAD!!!! I have been looking to buy a side of beef, but wanted to try their meat before investing in a side. I bought two bone in ribeyes, a felt and a pound of bacon. Made the bacon with breakfast, it was amazing. Thick cut and didnt shrink all up, cooked up perfect. You could smell it all over the house and the flavor, amazing. After cooking, had very little grease on the pan, was lean for bacon, but all the flavor. OK, Ive eaten steaks at the fanciest steakhouses in America, literally (Im in sales for big company). I usually bought my steaks at WholeFoods or Sams Club. Always thought these steaks were good. Well no comparison to these!!! Its like buying a tomato at Publix versus growing one in your own garden, you just can get that taste from a store. Im not kidding, I put a little Montreal season on both sides, grilled it on my charcoal grill and just LOVED IT. Ordering my side of beef as soon a post this, but they do have a 4 month delivery time. I know why, amazing meet. If there are any negative reviews, ignore them and buy one and just try it.

2021-03-31Bought a half cow from here, very good meat. It came out to about half ground beef and half steak all at $5/lb, you cannot beat that price anywhere right now.Steaks are all thick and juicy, beef is fantastic as well. The owners are friendly as well :). Highly recommend!

2021-07-14Great little farm shop!! Excellent pot pies and berry pies and apple pies. These are perfect for a quick meal, or as an easy homemade meal for a friend who needs a meal. I tell them, This is homemade, just not by me! You can also purchase produce and canned and baked goods here. And ice cream 😆🍦 Theres also raw cream and milk and cheese, for those of us with pets who need it! 😘

2019-07-13We shopped at Whole Foods for years. Not anymore. Simply put, this is the best tasting and best quality beef you can buy in this Country. Outstanding and worth the drive. Every steak and roast I’ve picked up from here has had a beautiful appearance and been flavorful and tender. You can tell by taste that this is “real” grass finished beef and has been cleanly and expertly butchered. Highest recommendation! Also best chicken we’ve ever had. Oddly enough, we’ve never tried the pork. Will probably pick some up this afternoon. The produce has been outstanding as well. Far more hits than misses. Had some excellent peaches and cucumbers on our last visit. Definitely going to be a customer for life. If you want fresh, clean, organic, whole, locally grown, small farm food (at a fair price), do yourself a favor and make the drive.

2020-06-23This place is amazing! Great fresh steak, chicken and pork! And they have some of the best pies around! They also have some fresh great tasting fruit and vegetables! Good service as well! The steak is so tender sofresh and grills amazing! The chicken is tender and flavourful and the pork chops grill incredibly well!

2018-09-07We have purchased our beef and pork from Farm Fresh for over four years and it does not get any better. The steaks and pork chops are incredible and the breakfast sausage will make the best biscuits and gravy! It is consistently awesome. We have given their steaks for gifts, etc. and its always top of the menu when we have family visiting. The owners are kind and knowledgeable and will go out of their way to get you exactly what you need for special orders, etc.. There is a real piece of mind knowing exactly where your food is from and that the people raising it feed it to their family. Their store is clean, hours are reliable, and their prices are fair for the quality that they consistently deliver. We drive a good distance to the store because it is worth it!
