We had a wonderful experience at the Fife & Drum Restaurant inside the National Infantry Museum today after our sons graduation. We had a party of six, since we took two of his friends along, and we had exceptional service from Christy. The menu was great, and our food was delicious. This is a great option for anyone wanting to tour the museum after graduation and then grab some good food!
I’ve only been here once or twice and both visits have had a similar theme. The first time was during an event called a “solider tour” which means most of the customers were Army and the three servers were always running. The second was a slower day so we were able to sit and enjoy our time. Both times regardless of the amount of people there, the service staff was amazing! Always taking the time to stop by and check on us and even when one of the orders was undercooked our server stopped and personally ran our plate back to correct the issue. I can’t wait till I’m able to take the time and return to the Fife and Drum.
Amazing food and wonderful experience! Loved the museum and the restaurant. Great for family festivities. Our waitress was Christy and she went above to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. Highly recommend!
Nice hidden gem! Unbeatable atmosphere inside the NIM and great views over looking the grounds. Great burgers and other American food. Excellent craft beer too. Minutes for Ft Benning gate. Rarely busy. What more can I say? it’s a great spot.
The waitress Christy was fantastic. She was very attentive and has a great sense of humor. The staff was excellent with my food allergies and ensuring a great celebration with my solider.
This is our family favourite, to ask our 10 and 8yr old of they want take away. Yep Bings, do you want to go out for dinner - yep Bings Food is always great, service so friendly and on point.The food is delicious. We ordered many plates of tapas which came out at random times. I couldnt compliment this place enough! First we came in and walked around and noticed the restaurant is on the 2nd floor, and it was a great place to eat. Food was great, service was fast I would highly recommend if you are in the museum to check it out.
I bring my wheelchair-bound father here once a week and have a fantastic experience every time. Grilled chicken sandwich is awesome (pesto, avocado, bacon, sriracha mayo, plus jalapeños if you ask nicely). Service is typically great, all staff are knowledgable about the menu and do their best to enhance the museum experience.
This restaurant was great! My service was friendly and the food was wonderful. Its a hidden gem thatd great for locals and visiting military families, plus you can walk through the museum after. A great day for a family.

The food was awesome and the service was outstanding!! Mouth watering steak and cheese sandwich and my daughter said the Cesar salad was the best she ever had!! And add in a side of spending time with our trainee just had awesomeness written all over it!!! Thank you!!

Really Good Iced Tea, and if you visit Ft. Benning for a graduation you must take your soldier here to celebrate. It is located inside the National Infantry Museum which is a must see. Try the steak flatbread.
Great place to have a baby shower! Private room was perfectly sized. Staff was friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. Food was delicious!

Our food was great but our waitress Christy was Better.... the service she provided us was better than most places we have visited.
They have some unique options and most things we had were tasty, but the chicken on my quesadilla was undercooked (pink).

Closed 25 minutes early...waste of an Uber ride and costing me more to travel to find another place. They should change their hours if they dont want to stay open until 5pm...when most people can actually get here to eat.
Outdated menu and food that is on the menu does not taste good. Very bland and dry. The hot foods were not hot and the cold foods were room temperature.

One day someone made me try the sweet heat wings there. i dont even like chicken so i was exceedingly suprised at how amazing they were. been going back ever since, they are starting to make a believer out of me.

I had fish (grouper) tacos. The fish was battered and fried and it was 80% crust and 20% fish. Also, the tortillas were uncooked.

I eat at the Fife and Drum about once a month and have always had great service. I have tried several different items from the menu and have not found anything I have not liked.

2022-04-22As a previous reviewer said, this is nothing like what is on their website. We decided to eat here after seeing the menu online, which is a full-service type menu with several good-looking options. Unfortunately, we looked at the star rating but didnt read the actual reviews. So when we got there, we were surprised to see it was an option of either a burger or chicken strips served with potatoes wedges. The options for beverage were water or $3.00 for lemonade. There was also the opportunity to spend over $5.00 for a tiny slice of cheesecake, which we declined.Even choosing the water option, we spent over $75.00 for the 5 of us to eat mediocre pre-cooked food served out of buffet-style warming dishes. The burgers didnt even have the advertised cheese. Do not waste your time.

2022-03-04We came down for our son’s graduation and, due to the limited food options on the post, we were excited to read the menu and descriptions on the restaurant’s website.So, we were shocked to find out that we had saved our appetites for an ACTUAL menu of chicken fingers dredged in salt OR a hamburger, either served with a literal handful of French fries. I actually asked about the menu online and was told that this actual menu was the only one available because, “we serve mostly tours and soldiers”. There was a salad bar option for $12, which consisted of a serving bowl of mixed greens, some sparse additions, and your standard Italian or Ranch dressing. There was no drink menu, either. Just water, lemonade, or an orange drink that came with your meal. All of this ran us about $60 for four people (we opted out of the “salad bar”).We went to Saxby’s for supper and got better options for half of the price. This restaurant should really update their website and stop fooling people into planning their meal there. If we had known, we would have eaten before coming to the museum.

2017-03-12What a great spot. It is inside of the Museum, so you can expect it to be just a little pricey. I got the Bacon Cheese burger and was pretty good. Cooked just right, nothing to spectacular, and Mashed Potatoes.And they have a bar, which makes the place better. I recommend it while visiting the museum. Service was great, food was good and the beer was cold. Thumbs up!

Youre gonna need the break between trying to see everything at the museum, you should be supporting the museum every way possible with your dollars, and its a chance to have lunch with a bunch of young soldiers. The portion sizes are huge. The burgers are excellent. The wings are great as well. The prices are fair for what you get. You got no excuses now...

2018-10-10Traditional bar and grill fare (upstairs). I enjoyed the Calvary Burger; the meat was flavorful, bacon crisp, egg over easy, and a good helping of fries. A little pricey, but expected in a touristy venue. Other interesting menu items were the Soldier Burger on their secret menu, the Pimento Burger which seems to be a popular favorite in Georgia, and the MOAB... mother of all burgers I presume. Pizza and popcorn are at the theater concession (downstairs) so something for everyone. Place was dead on a weekend afternoon, and the lone server was the only visible worker there. Conveniently located next door to the Hampton Inn.

2019-04-06Stopped by the Fife and Drum restaurant in the National Infantry Museum and had an exceptional experience. Great big windows to see where the soldiers graduate and after walking around all day, we really enjoyed the food. I had the Ranger Burger and it was the best burgers I have ever had. Service was great and couldnt have had a better overall experience.

2020-05-10We were visiting the National Infantry Museum and decided to stay there and eat lunch at the Fife and Drum Restaurant. Great atmosphere and food. Awesome server named Christy. She was very attentive and stopped by the table multiple times to check on us and make sure that we had everything that we needed. Worth your time to visit this amazing Museum as well as take in lunch at the Fife and Drum.
