The womans stuff is over priced. Customer service flat. No one greeted us. Never asked if we needed help. We were right in front of the register most of the time. 4 people just walked around as if we were not even on the store. DO BETTER! Yall prices are too high for poor service.
I am a total consignment fan and have been shopping here for several years, but have to (reluctantly) agree with some of the other reviewers. The prices have been creeping upward for the last several years and I have noticed some attitude from the staff the last few times Ive been in.Too bad, because this used to be one of my favorite places to shop.
This is a special hidden gem. I have found a few really fun pieces of clothing here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Also, their womens accessory collection is great. I wish the had a bigger purse collection but Im hoping because that might be due to inventory turnover. Check it out for some unique items.
I Have always enjoyed the quality of consignment items Finders Keepers in Avondale Estates had, but since discovering Finders Keepers Mens Wear on N. Decatur Red. I have been pleasantly pleased with the quality of items, especially the selection of suits, shirts, sport coats, and accessories.
Ive shopped here but have not consigned (yet). This place is neat. I love stopping in to see whats come in. Its well-organized, easy to look through what youre interested in, smaller quantity than the store in Avondale Estates (also a great place!) so its not overwhelming to find potential items to try on. They have great seasonal sales, and even if I dont find anything on a particular visit, it is still worthwhile. Ive found so many cool things here, several with the price tags still on them! I have found many dresses here for special occasions. I tell my friends often to check this place out before heading elsewhere.
The store is sunlit and well organized. The employees are warm and inviting. Its a calming atmosphere but you cant get lost among the aisles like in some consignment stores... They only have one or two shoes in each size, not enough variety for my taste. The clothes are a little pricey but they are all on theme with the business casual vibe. I would stop by looking for a specific item but the clothes are too expensive for the quintessential browsing in a consignment store experience.
The staff here are as snobbish as you can get. I brought in 4 items all in one bag. She barely touched the first one then told me that she couldn’t take any of them. I asked her did she check the designer label dress at the bottom of the bag. She was a little surprised and her arrogant attitude disappeared (for a few seconds). Then she told me that she could not take them because they are not washed. I just washed and dried them before I left for the store. Then she said there is wrinkles. Somehow with a supposedly high standard for items for consignment, the stuff in the store still look they are from the 90s.
Finders keepers really needs to work on customer service. The staff was nasty and I was trying to consign high end but when I heard how they took care of the customer before me, I picked up all my goods and left! I will hang them back in my closet before I EVER go back in there. Run away from this business
My experience is and has been that. I dont think that they want my business. My business as a Black man. I have had 3 or 4 different times where I felt unwanted. The older woman there gives me the cold shoulder every time. She told me that she could not accept items that were not on hangers. No problem. But I went to lunch next door and as I was walking in, she handed out hangers to another woman. I mentioned it to her and she Stated that they were hers. A big lie,. I brought in brand new Daniel Cremoux and Nautica shirts with tags, she said they would take those tomorrow as I was over the limit. She only accepted 3 item. 2 were shoes. Why would you not use common sense and accept those. She told me to bring them back tomorrow. I called management to no avail. We should not do business with companies that dont treat us fair.
Ive been to the Menswear location in North Decatur several times, and Ive only come out of there without buying something once. I havent found a comparable selection of upscale mens consignment in Atlanta since moving here a few months ago for grad school. You dont have to dig too hard to find a good steal, especially on the pants. I found a pair of Prada khakis for $30! The shirts selection is okay - mostly a mix of Club Monaco and J.Crew, but I do find the occasional Prada or Gucci shirt - usually way too big. All in all, its usually a pleasant experience, and the staff is pretty friendly too.

2020-11-18Favorite consignment store hands down. I appreciate the safety measures they are implementing as a result of COVID and the new online store! You can tell the new management is working hard to make the shopping experience even better. Wide variety of brands plus super friendly staff. Love it here

2021-03-08The new owner wants almost brand new clothes for 3 to 5 bucks. Per employees. Extremely picky for used clothes. Preferable Neiman Marcus . Well good luck used clothing store aka Goodwill. And there is Shannon, always irritated. It is Sharon I believe. And you are too too picky for a used clothing store. Went to uptown cheapskate. They took almost everything. Great experience. So 👎your store.

2021-05-04As a native Atlantan I was surprised I only learned of FK last year given its been in business for decades! Ive been back many many times and the customer service has been consistently very good. As both a consignor and shopper I find their terms and pricing very reasonable. I also appreciate their online portal for monitoring the status of consigned items. Its always fun to login and see how much money Ive made!

2020-11-19EDIT: I feel it’s most important to add that this is a “boutique” consignment store. And that consignment DOES NOT EQUATE TO thrifting. The items here are priced at 30%-50% of their retail price, as per their contract they give you as a consignor. Boutiques are smaller and higher end typically. The prices are “high” because these items retail anywhere from $150-$5000. Hate to break it to y’all, but you’re not gonna get a Prada bag for $5! So don’t be shocked when a $3000 handbag is $900 or more resell price!Always impressed with my experience here! The staff is incredible and very knowledgeable. Their employees have countless years of experience in retail and luxury goods between them, as well as the education to back it up. Two employees have experience as seamstresses with one having a fashion design degree as well! They’re so helpful in being able to explain how to alter clothing or how a simple issue can be easily fixed for an item you LOVE and don’t want to leave behind. That being said, they’re great at helping you find specific items you might be interested in, and they care enough about the customer get to know them and help them shop for great items. They recently came under new ownership and management, so there are some obvious large changes taking place and it seems that they are doing a full rebranding which is great and exciting to see. The store layout is so easy to shop in.I also consign here, and have never had any issues locating items or selling items either. Since I don’t have the free time to sell my clothing on my own, consignment is a GREAT option for me. I have sold on my own in the past, and their prices are on par with resale. Wear, age, and style must be taken into consideration when pricing an item to sell ANYWHERE! It’s very evident some customers and consignors do not understand that consignment means you are basically paying someone to help you sell your items, and a lot of people prefer this due to their busy schedule, and it’s a great community area to buy and sell secondhand instead of buying new and contributing to the fashion industry (which is one of the worlds biggest pollutants).Personally I am very experienced with merchandising and retail, and fully understanding of the differences between consigning and selling on your own, as well as the huge difference between consignment and thrift stores. I have a strong background in fashion merchandising, and two fashion degrees. This company works very hard to be fair to consumers and consignors alike. I’m grateful to have a great resale shop a few streets over from me, because fashion sustainably is incredibly important!Overall this business (including their other locations) is incredible. I typically have qualms with boutiques and retail locations due to my own career and knowledge of the industry, but everything here is pretty textbook and works the way it’s meant to. I truly encourage you all to do your research on the different types of stores and how consignment works before consigning your items. Hopefully that will keep some of you from being so upset when consignment works the way it’s supposed to. When you consign with them you’re given a contract that is very straightforward and easy to understand. It covers any and all questions and concerns you might have, and the staff has always been super helpful when I’ve had any questions about their policies. If you want the maximum money, sell it yourself. If you want to contribute to your community, small businesses (this one is WOMAN OWNED by the way!), and actively participate in fashion sustainability and sustainable shopping, then PLEASE CONSIGN. This is a trustworthy company with almost 40 years of business. I 100% recommend.

2020-11-19Attention consignors! In case you didnt know, Finders Keepers changed ownership over the summer. With that change came other changes that were much needed and welcome. The new owner is receptive to feedback and is slowly and steadily transforming FK from an okay place to consign into a great place to consign!

2017-10-29I visited the store today and had a wonderful time. The selection and prices were excellent. The thing that I enjoyed the most were the people that worked there. I have to get a whole new wardrobe, without allot of money and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. Ive already put on my calender to visit this store next weekend.Thank you all for the very enjoyable experience and start of a handsome wardrobe.
