I got the pulled pork plate with brussel sprouts. Not really pulled pork, but it was tasty. The brussles were insanely good though! (I will literally go back here for them) They definitely stole the show. Bartender and servers were very friendly. I ended up having a few drinks at the bar just to hang out with them a little longer. Great conversation. Definitely a great lunch spot to grab a drink and eat at the bar!
Lunch time visit. Very tasty and of course Bacardi and coke. My first time eating lunch here and I notice they have live bands here from time to time. I enjoyed the volcano shrimp and fries. I think maybe if they eork on a simple lunch menu they would cater to more businesses. Every restaurant has a lunch special. If not, why? Something to think about. Time for change and change is good.
Hidden gem in the strip mall. Great for a lunch/dinner and drinks with friends and colleagues. Their Veggie Panini is very good and a must try. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails.

Totally enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. It was our first time and everything exceeded our expectation. We even had the privilege of meeting one of the owners. Our son didnt care for what he ordered and the waitress could sense that without him even saying something. She immediately offered to swap it out for something else. We will definitely be back!
Tonight was my first time at the Firefly Restaurant and Bar. Great atmosphere. The food and service was awesome. Music by Gritz and Jelly Butter was great. The owner was there to greet us when we walked in and checked on us throughout the night. I will definitely return as this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Highly Recommended.
I went there on a Monday night; the day before my birthday. The place was quiet with only 7 people there in total. I ordered the turkey burger, a Summer shandy, and the cheese cake. I think the prices were fair and the turkey burger tasted good. I would not recommend the cheesecake. I would recommend for an after work happy hour for people who work in the area. The place also looks like a decent space to organize an event.
Visited Firefly this past Saturday. It was a pleasant surprise. Id gotten promotional emails in the past and we finally made it out. We were celebrating a birthday and we clearly made the best choice. The food was amazing and the manager Janet checked on us all through the night. She even took us on the dance floor as we sat there contemplating if we should go out there or not. The Flashback band was amazing too. The Girls and I discussed making it our place to go on the regular. By the way, Cindy, our server was so polite and her food and cocktail suggestions were on point
There is this little waitress named Angele. Go and ask for her! So sweet and so hard working. When I went there to visit it was 2 months ago and she was the only server. She held her own and was great! The whole restaurant was packed but I still felt I was her only customer. Great bartenders as well. Didn’t get his name but will definitely try the strawberry peach mule again. The food was great as well. The owners were a little clingy but that’s expected. See you soon Angel!!
The interior of the place is lovely. Too bad the service doesnt live up to the decor. After taking our order, we didnt see our server again for 40 minutes. Despite several staff members wandering around, we had to ask the bartender for drink refills. We were actually getting ready to just leave when the food arrived. The food itself was fine and had the service been better wed have considered going back Saturday for dinner, but not a single staff member even acknowledged the fact that it took the kitchen 50 minutes to produce a late lunch for 5 adults and 2 kids.
First time at this establishment. Nice place. We were meeting someone, however later figured that we were at the wrong place. But instead of driving across to meet our original party, we just decided to stick it out, eat and enjoy the music. I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The food gets a 5 star alone. That Firefly Shrimp was delicous! I gave it a 5 star however because the Bartender had somewhat of a bad attitude and kept talking to the other bartender about how things she was unhappy about at the establishment. We decided to move to the a table and our server was very polite. She helped us with our food selections and we were pleased. We will definitely return. Hopefully the bartender was only just having a bad day. Regardless it should never spill over to your customer service.
Had a group use the back room for a presentation. There is a small menu but the food is very good. Staff worked their behind off and was busy but the orders were all correct. Have not tried the bar yet but may do so in the future.
I love to grab a drink and those volcanic shrimp on Friday to closeout my work week.Service is great and personable. I love that the weather is nice and really enjoy the patio. Quiet location away from traffic . Hidden gem. Theres jazz on Saturday nights. Thus is all in my neighborhood .I

A great experience for someone from out of town. My host Cindy provided great service and made me feel right at home. The food was awesome. Had their shrimp appetizer and some gumbo as well as a local beer. Would highly recommend Firefly.
I booked my book launch/ bday party at firefly March 23, and rented one of their rooms. The service was good from the professional booking, deposit was not a whole lot and I was kept in contact with as well was able to get in touch with my planner. The food was tasteful and a variety, I had good feedback from my guest as jaws were moving and drinks were excellent. My waiter assigned to my party was there and on her mission the whole time. I really appreciated the professionalism, the atmosphere. The food and the overall service. Will def book here again.
Great location and interior design. Unfortunately the service did not align with expected. Server was very slow and we had to wait unexpectedly long for drinks and then our food then our check. It was basically empty on a Saturday night with a bunch of servers around doing nothing. And there was a super loud band that did not make much sense with the lack of crowd in the place. Food was decent but doesn’t make up for the rest. Won’t be coming back.
Visited Firefly for the second time Saturday. Had friends in town and wanted to take them where we could experience great food and entertainment all in one place and boy did Firefly deliver. When we entered, we were greeted by the manager, Janet. Surprisingly she remembered me from my previous visit. We had a total of 5 in our party and she actually moved tables to make sure we were comfortable. Once we sat, she told us about the specials and sent our server Destiny right over. She helped us with our drink selections. Omg the band was super. We didnt want them to stop. The last song, purple rain had everyone on their feet. My guests were happy to say the least. Food A+, Service A+! Upon leaving, Janet approached us and said good bye and invited us back. Fun, fun night.
Great entertainment as well as a great atmosphere. The food was reasonably priced and delicious. We had a table of six and adult drinks were served. There was no skimping on the alcohol, every drink whats perfect! If youre searching for a Tavern with great entertainment food and drinks this is the place to be if you live in Alpharetta or the surrounding area.
A great find! Unique, delectable, appetizers and after work happy hour specials, like the Cali Flatbread w Artichoke and Volcano Shrimp. Affordable and oh so yummy. Apparently, seem to be re-working menus, structure- including live music on some nights, this place is a FIND now, and is only going to get better. Private breakout rooms perfect for parties, corporate events or conferences.
Excellent service, plenty of food and beverage options to enjoy in a fun and stylish setting. There is even a private room for family dining and or business meeting. Lunch is good but i prefer visiting Firefly at night.
Food was poor. Service wasnt very good. Polite but not attentive. Prices were fair for a dinner but not for THAT dinner. Wont be returning.Might be a good place if you just want a drink. Nice looking bar.
Not sure how such a restaurant with such beautiful inside can be relatively empty at 8:00 on a Friday night. Oh, food and service. I ordered sliced steak medallions and got a giant steak and was told that is how it comes. Appetizers and main course all came out at the same time. I could go on but it is what it is. I hope they get good management and cooks in there because the place is beautiful. A shame.
Beautiful restaurant! A wedding was held here with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Great staff, great food, and wedding planner worked hard and her staff. Awesome job!
Food was amazing but our waitresses sucked big time. It was more important for her to speak with the customer outside than it was for her to come back and see if we wanted anything else. I had a bus person go out and tell her we wanted our check, we waited for 15 minutes till I got up and went out to tell her we were ready to go.
First time visiting this Saturday for our Date night, really enjoyed the atmosphere, food was delicious, wasnt a packed house, but the band performed as it if was a house full and I really appreciated that. Waiter and staff were very friendly. We will surely visit again.
I had the shrimp po boy & salmon BLT, both were delicious. The music was good. There is a fee for entertainment so get there early or be ready to pay $10. But the guy there was pretty good as we were leaving!!!!
Me and my husband were looking for something quick to grab and came across firefly, we figured weWould try some place different and so glad we did. The food was delish everything we ordered was perfect, the waiter was very pleasant and funny. The owner came out and introduced herself she was very nice also whatever you do make sure you order the smoked wings I can’t wait to go back....
The location of this place doesnt feel like it does it justice. Its kind of out of the way but its a diamond in the rough! Cam - the greeter was awesome and we had a great conversation. The food is five stars! The Mac and Cheese is out of this world. The Philly cheese steak is also worth trying. I just wish it was in a better location otherwise itd be five stars all around.
My family and I ate at Firefly 12/1/2018. Our server, Destiny, was fantastic! There was a 40th birthday party going on and yet we were made to feel as if we were her only customers (but not overly so). The food... We started with some mild chicken wings which really set the stage for the main courses. Everything was delicious and we will be returning soon. Thank you for a great evening!
The food and the live music is the best! Just what Alpharetta needed! The Service was good. Morgan was very attentive and the Manager seated us immediately and she kept checking on us. Needless to say, we will be back.
We went to Firefly for the first time tonight. Manager was very nice and staff was very helpful. Two of us eat gluten free and had plenty of options. Serving sizes are perfect. Nice atmosphere and good prices.I am a nutritionist and this is one of my new favorites.
Beautiful decore and setting. Only issue is it’s lack of planning for large crowds. We attended this establishment to hear, Gritz, Butter and Jelly(1/13/19) We made reservations but couldn’t get seats for two because we did not call in to secure seats! On the company website it didn’t state anything about calling to restaurant to secure seats. We were forced to share a booth with another couple! Fortunately the other couple was great company. Now on to the food. It took over 45mins to an hour for our food to arrive. Again great establishment but needs to work out some kinks.
If I could rate a zero I would! I booked a party for 7/6 earlier this year and since I am originally from New Jersey I had a lot of out of town guest come in for my husbands surprise party the club closed for renovations and NEVER contacted me I left several messages on the voicemail but no call backs! The day of the function I ended up having to find another place who could accommodate 45 guest. I was a club manager in New Jersey at Marlos Cocktail Lounge for 20yrs and I could not believe how unprofessional this was and I still have not heard from ANYONE .
In town on business and stopped here because it was right across the street from hotel. Bartender was also out waiter. Food was excellent. Only issue was that they forgot two of the sides we ordered but brought them within minutes of asking about them. Awesome selection of spirits. Will definitely come back.
I celebrated my Birthday here last night, Janet and RJ made it really special for me and my friend, the DJ and the band Gritz and Jelly were phenomenal, The food and drinks were on point, quick service and my waitress was very attentive and quick with our orders😁the ambiance was wonderful lots of beautiful people. I will definitely come back again and tell my friends.
Spent the weekend in in North Ga with the family and stayed at the HGI across th street. Came in to grab food for the fam with no idea of how the food or service would be. There was a highschool class reunion going on but the owner was very nice and thanked me for coming in. The food was very good and portions were generous. I definitely recommend this restaurant/ sports bar. We will be back for sure.
Great and professional service! EXCELLENT food!!! As the Operations Manager of Online Trading Academy Atlanta, we work closely together every day in order for them to make 30-150 lunches for the staff and students. That task is not taken lightly! Excellent!!
Should have known from the empty parking lot that the food must not be all that good. Walked in, stood around for about 5 minutes to be greeted and the owner comes around the corner with a smile and kindly greeted us. It was our first time there. She explained how she was the 3rd...4th owner of the restaurant. (Another flag). We were seated in awkwardness. A couple of people seemed to have been there for a while to hang out and a somewhat large group (employees) in the back banquet room enjoying some time off the clock. We (my family of 4) proceeded to look at the menu and nothing seemed to catch our eyes so we went for the usual slider cheeseburgers for our two girls. One plate with a side of fries and the other with mashed potatoes. My husband and I ordered the Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta since we are pasta lovers. We also had a side house salad. In the description of the Cajun pasta, it stated there would be a side of garlic bread. Our orders came out around 20-25 minutes. With my daughters meal came packets of ketchup. No condiments were available in a bottle. I decided to taste the mashed potatoes given with the cheeseburger sliders and it tasted like a not so fresh potato that had been mashed with no seasonings. Not so appetizing. As my husband and I dug into our pasta, we realized the shrimp still had the tail ends attached which meant we had to pick them off before putting it on a fork. The chicken didnt taste fresh and was more like it came frozen with grill marks. Nothing special about it whatsoever. And no garlic bread. When I asked our server for the bread, she replied, If you want bread, youll have it... But the description said it came with garlic bread. We waited for another 10-12 minutes for our garlic bread only for our server to come out with two toasted pieces of Texas toast. No garlic. No butter. Just toast. Cut into two triangles. Talk about disappointment. Lets not forget that when we went to wipe our mouths with the linen napkins, they smelled as if they werent machine washed. Stale. We were asked if we wanted any to-go boxes because of the amount of food left over and when we replied with a NO, our server looked shocked. We asked for the check, kindly tipped our server and walked away. She was kind but it takes a lot more than a friendly staff for a restaurant to pass in my book. Food wasnt the worst but it wasnt good either. The environment and setting wasnt appealing. I definitely wouldnt recommend. If I were given a free meal, I wouldnt go back.
My experience and food werent bad, but they werent amazing either. I had a salad and sandwich for lunch. There are other items on the menu Id like to try. Unfortunately, it was too cold for me to sit out on the patio. But I think it will be really nice in the spring and summer. Ill give Firefly another try!
OMG We saw Zeke Potter & The Khemistry Band they were Awesome...The food was great we danced and had a ball..One suggestion the drinks need to be a little bit stronger for the amount charged. But other than that 5 Star night. Please know I never really do reviews but left the place wanting more. Keep up what you are doing great atmosphere
I am the center administrator of Online Trading Academy and firefly has been catering lunch to our students and staff almost everyday of the week. Their service, timing, food quality is absolutely phenomenal!! Our students and staff not only enjoy and compliment their lunch but they dine in for dinner frequently as well. I would have give 10 stars if available!
The staff here at firefly Are very friendly and try to make it a comfortable environment. My server was Morgan and she was excellent. She was very polite and very informative. My first time here and I loved it . Thank you Firefly I’ll be back !
I come here fairly regularly for lunch and the food is always great. I usually get the shrimp po-boy or build your own burger, but their brisket sandwich is also good. Expect to spend $9 for a basic burger, $13 for the shrimp po-boy (plus tip), if you just drink water.
Recommended by a friend, great ambience and excellent service the moment you walk in until you leave. Its very spacious, food is excellent(chicken pasta and wings for appetizers my favs) and be sure to go on a night when there is live music. Great for happy hours, lunch, and dinners.
Love their firecracker shrimp and tacos. This place has great live music too. They even have poker games on certain days. Great neighborhood bar & restaurant.
Service is excellent bartenders/barmaids are very friendly and know how to make a drink. Chefs Steven and Ernesto are the best you will not be sorry. Try Happy hour and Jazz nites on Saturdays..
Amazing food and really cool atmosphere! You cant go wrong with any items on the menu but recommend the smoky wings, fries, and onion rings. That chipotle sauce I will remember for a while!
I walked in giving it one last chance due to past trash management. Found out Its under new management. And shes super nice. A few menu changes and some classics have been kept. Refreshing. Anyone who may have been turned off ,like I was, by the trash management of before, come back, its safe. Lll
The bartender was super nice and helpful, the food was delicious and I even got to try a new drink, its a red velvet cake shot and it was very good. Also it was a very clean and comfortable atmosphere at the bar. 👍👍
The Evening attended on Monday which was the weekly poker game . The server was gracious . however the order took over an hour to process. The foid was fine. But felt ignored. The entire time. The miismanagement of this establishment has a history. And sadly has not improved.
Visited this place for the first time last night and I absolutely will not return. Paid for a special event which started 3 hours late. Service was horrible. Had to ask three times for water and each time the server would disappear into this unknown black hole in the small restaurant and you couldnt find her. We waited 30 minutes just to pay the bill so that we could leave and had such a hard time finding our server that we should have just left. To make matters worse when I spoke with management about the issues with our server management offered no apology and basically took up for the server. At one point in the evening when we was looking for our server we spotted her over at another table dancing with patrons. The only reason Im giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because at least the food was good when it finally came.
The queso dip was to die for. I tried the bbq sandwich with coleslaw and an onion ring on top. It was so good, the plate was empty! Beth and the rest of the staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome. Firefly has definitely earned a new customer!
Came in during lunchtime. It was pretty slow (compared to dinner, when Ive come before). Service was pleasant, the food came quickly, and everything tasted great.One suggestion: cut the calamari thinner. The calamari is super thick! My jaws started to hurt within a few bites and I had to chose between enjoying the appetizer and eating my entree without pain, haha. Shame because it was delicious. Maybe thinner slices would help?
Manager was pushy on the upsell on the wine list, and was cold. Pretty much empty all evening (weekday) and the food was fine but not brilliant. Good selection of beers.
Its been a few years since I visited. The service was great. I love the ambience. The food is still below par. Mac n cheese taste like it came from a cheap brand box kit. This place needs new recipies and chef.

Sandy and Raymond, thank you for bringing Ken Ford to Firefly. Although he was late and brief, he was wonderful and left you wanting for more. As for your staff, they were very attentive and professional, from your Maitre D, London to your waited staff and the young lady that served our table and had joined your team 4 days prior. Unfortunately, with the menu being limited to The Ken Ford Specialties, we were not able to enjoy the full range of delicaties Firefly has to present. I look forward exploring more of the menu in the future. Unfortunately, I cant close without raising a concern of Fireflys and RJones Productions involvement with Eventbrite. My wife and I secured a RSVP ticket online through Eventbrite. The ticket allowed free entry into the venue or Firefly; including seating. The ticket specifically stated that seating was not guaranteed; which one would read as limited. Well when my party and I arrived to Firefly, we were told that seating was 30 dollars per person and the ticket was for entry only. The venue at the time was not even a quarter full. The ticket should have reflected that RSVP ticket holders would be seated once reserved and charged seating was filled. This would given us, the customer, the option of continuing with the process. Instead, we felt that they were involved in a Bait and Switch situation which I am sure was not the intentions of all parties. The issue was resolved by the patient and professional Maitre D, London. Our party was seated and served. Overall the experience was good but not great.Thank you again, S and C Jenkins
Grabbed dinner here one night and the food was great. Decent hidden spot behind the shopping plaza. Great service, good food and very reasonable prices. Easy parking --when you find it :) Service was great, and tons of seating bot inside and out.
The service was very bad because we wait 3 hours to get our food. The food was cold and it was terrible. My friends did not get the right dressing for their salad.The band was the worse I could not here it in the party room.

Sandy, I just read your reply to my review of Firefly. My decision to loan $13,000 to my friend to help keep Firefly running (purchase food, alcohol, pay staff & Ga power), which you say was your business, was something I obviously could afford. I doubt my truthful one star review had anything to do with your business doing so badly several months later, having no customers is about you and how you treat people not me saying you suck. Did you contact anyone else who wrote a bad review? Fireflys failure has nothing to do with me but everything to do with you.I can afford any money I loan, give or spend.
This place has the best mashed potatoes Ive ever tasted! We went while the restaurant was technically closed for a business event, but in spite of the high demand we were served very well and had a great time! I cant wait to come back for more.
I didnt rate a 1 because I was only there for a drink or two and they didnt mess that up, but this place looks very good from the outside but has all the signs of very poor management on the inside... employees argue, doors were left opened and mosquitoes were inside, I felt bad for the people working there. A ton of potential if someone can get it on the right track
I was at the restaurant today afternoon for lunch and the server messed it up, we waited for 1 hour and i enquired with the manager about the order and he sent the server to the table and she says the order was lost. so after one hour she comes back and says that the kitchen has lost the order paper, can you guys give a fresh order, it will take 10 minutes. then we left the place.....our precious time was wasted... people who came after us ate and left....Beware of this place

VERY slow service, burger was over cooked and dry, bacon was burned, and the pickle spear was limp and on the verge of going bad.Adult beverages were mixed strong, so they have that going for them.

Was there for a birthday celebration with about twenty others. Our food was delayed, some dishes were served cold and I personally NEVER got my dish.
Cool place! There was a really cool tall girl who used to bartend there. She was the sweetest girl in the world. She gave us raspberry cheese cake the first time there. She was really mesmerizing and I cant say it enough but darn sweet as a Georgia peach and cute as a button covered in Daiseys she jiggled around and scooted her behind and made drinks that would make you blind. A couple got me Randy!!! Like the saying Randy no Bandy. I cant remember her name but the prettiest thing you ever seen!! Her eyes would lock on to mine and I would melt in my shoes and wish I had extra socks. She made me nervous in a good way. All sweaty and innocent. She just made me want to buy her some roses and spread them on the floor where ever she walked. Well. I just rememebrded her sweet name. It was Matilda Machilski. Ma---til---- Da!!!! Give me a call babe. !! You were the. Kwewl!!! Matilda the dreams of you and prancing your hamburger breads around there. I mean bin chang boo toasty wpst give me some of the raspberry cheese of you read this ole Matilda. I wan to; I wannnna wanna wanna yes
Great place to listen to some good music and enjoy an awesome menu. The staff is the best!!!
This spot is worth giving a shot. They have big portions for fair prices. Always well organized and with great character. Highly recommended.
What I thought to be a nice establishment does not equate to the rude customer service at the bar area for take out. Morgan just cost them any future business from me or my company.
Parking lot empty, should have been my first clue. Lunch time in Alpharetta is a busy time. Not for Firefly because the food not good enough for the price

2022-05-08WOW. I’m so Happy I choose to bring my Mother and family here on her Special day. Very busy but the staff were able to get us seated and drinks followed within 2 min afterwards. The food was Hot and Tasty and the air Conditioner was perfect, not to cool not too hot. Great outing!!!!! Definitely will come back during regular hours to see what other great food they have to offer.

2022-07-10Extremely let down..They make it seem like everyone gets the beautiful experience in the main dining room with all of the glamour and decorations. We made reservations days before and were sat in a side room with little decor and were barely serviced. We will not be going back.

2018-03-28Cameron at the bar was amazing. The food was scrumptious. Mark, the Manager or.. Head Chef.. Or both.. was warm and welcoming. All the food we had was very good, well priced and the portions were well sized. All the appetizers were big enough portions for two people. All in all, one of the best experiences that I have had at a restaurant.The Fried Pickles are wonderful. Start there.

2019-03-26My first visit here was for a birthday party. The atmosphere was really cool. The band that played that night was awesome, unfortunately I dont remember their name but I really enjoyed them. There was also a DJ that night as well so we danced quite a bit. There is a $10 entertainment per person. The food was good but it wasnt hot but because I was so hungry so I didnt send it back. Thats why I only gave them 4 stars. I enjoyed myself and I would return if Im on that side of town.
