I’ve visited this location on multiple occasions and it’s decent. My biggest gripe with this firehouse is that on every occasion I’ve ordered a large combo to go and been handed a small cup. I ordered a large drink for the simple fact I’m leaving with it. I can’t get refills at home.Even if the location was out of large cups, as the customer that really isn’t my problem. So unless you’re gonna give me a discount on my large combo because you’re out of large cups then I expect a large cup. Thanks. Next time I’ll be requesting a large cup with my large combo if I’m handed a small cup. And if small cups are the only thing available I’ll go across the street to Taco Bell. I bet they can manage a large cup😂🤷♂️
The Mrs and I grabbed a quick lunch with may daughter and her husband while they were in town .. service was friendly and fast but accuracy was sacrificed as my Steamer was supposed to be fully loaded even though I reminded the young lady taking the order right before I paid for the meal .. however, when I brought the sandwich back up to have the error corrected, a young man stepped right up and immediately took my sandwich and made it right and I appreciate it
Cant ever get an order right. I use to love Firehouse. The last 3 times I have been to this location, my order has been made wrong. The first two, I got my orders to go and just ate it anyway. The last time I ate there. My sandwich was made wrong again. I asked them to fix it, then the replacement was correct but they left off the condiments (mustard and mayo). Will not go back. Publix, Kroger, and Ingles... here I come
1st time Ive ever been to this firehouse was a pretty bad experience, went in about 20 minutes before close, people were seated and eating so thought I could go ahead and get a quick sub. I stood by the register for a few minutes while employees were Walking around giving dirty looks. Finally a guy came up to me very rudely and said Im not taking your order and walked away. I understand if you cant make sandwiches past a certain time but the staff didnt have to be so rude about it.
While waiting for my food, I also waited for the restroom. A female employee finally emerged from the mens restroom with her male companion who looked sheepish but satisfied. The employee pulled her hair up and went back behind the counter to work. (Thankfully,not on my order.) My wife, who also witnessed this scene, brought it to attention of the manager. The managers response was a blank look. We wont be back.
1/10/19 was my first time ever going to this restaurant (even to step foot inside!), It was a bit busy ( around lunch time) but the wait time still wasnt that long! (Even for it being busy and me waiting for my online order, it was not a long wait at all!!) The owner was very professional and the staff was just as professional too, very courteous. (they could probably tell it was my first time there lol) I wish I could give it 10 stars I would!! OUTSTANDING customer service! The food was amazing as well, I thought it would be like an updated Subway, but no way! The grilled chicken sub was amazing! (With jalapenos and olives added 😬🤤 ) ! It was a bit smokey in there but it did NOT bother my eyes AT ALL, hardly noticeable and smelled good! I will be coming back!!
23 minutes for a 12 & 8 inch sub with no one else in the restaurant and 5 people... Still trying to figure out why I waited so long.Just got my order and they messed up and switched the 12 & 8 and wanted me to pay extra for the mistake on their part. They threw both sandwiches in the trash to remake them...I now leave 38 minutes later. I will never come here again! ☹️They messed up on the ladies order right behind me as well. There is no sense of urgency what so ever and they messed up my order for THE SECOND TIME!!!!! They handed me the bag for the third time and the manager stated the she checked them both so I left because I was tired. I get home THERE BOTH MESSED UP!!!! I never complain but it’s really not that hard to make 2 sandwiches with 5 people behind the counter and business is slow. I wish I could post the picture I took of the staff. Please don’t waste your time coming here.
Service is slowest I have ever seen at a Firehouse. The restaurant is less than 1/3 occupied and it took 20 min to get a sandwich. Seems to always take a long time here.Thank you Tiffany from Firehouse. Your response means a lot, and I will certainly be back again. I am changing my review to FIVE stars due to management that cares!
Placed an online order and the manager goes back and forth me about the online payment which clearly showed complete on my end and their end. They even sent an email confirmation which I showed him as well as my complete bank transactions. Literally wasting 15 minutes of my lunch to eventually release my food to me I’m guessing when he saw how wrong he was!! $11 really?? Don’t like my time nor energy being played with.
I tried to call in an order for my wife to pick up. I called 3 times and no answer. When my wife arrived, she discovered that not only were they not busy, there were 3-4 people working. She said they were all very young and that they were just ignoring the phone. The young lady that took my wife’s order did apologize for the inconvenience but she still had to spend an extra 15 minutes there because these kids don’t wanna do their job.
The food is awesome and the service is typically far superior to the others in this chain with the only down fall being that they fail to provide good hot sauces in comparison to the others. They lack the Lynchburg Habaneros, Pain 95, or Iguana Radioactive, all of which I had at numerous other locations. If they would obtain 1 or more of these than this would be my primary location over the location off Wade Green Road.
Love Firehouse but HATE the line to order. I know I can order online but Ive always had to wait even when I did. I went in tonight and waited in line only to have to wait for phone orders. It seems like the people in front of you, wanting to order should take precedence. Not really happy with my service...
Placed my order online to be picked up and when i got there, my order was just beginning to be made by employees. I was okay with that, at least its fresh, right? Well after already paying for my order and waiting about 15 minutes later, i notice all of the employees heading to the back. I waited. After about 3 minutes of waiting, i went back up to the cash register to maybe grab someones attention. It wasnt until another customer came into the store that any of the employees acknowledged me. I asked how much longer i would have to wait for my order that was placed ONLINE, 40 MINUTES AGO!! Could have gone to applebees for that wait! I mean, its not bad enough that they are slow or cant do their job, They obviously dont want to work.
Terrible experience ...... sandwich had NO MEAT on it after waiting 20 mins and the salad didn’t have all the meat requested .... after waiting 20 mins for food and after working 15 hours in the day, all u really want to do is get home , relax and have dinner.... but nooooo, we had to waste more time in our evening driving back down there to get the correct food!!! No way will we be back!!!! I wouldn’t have given it 1 star? But I had to, just to leave this review !!!!!!
All the workers seem lost. It took minutes for someone to come to the register and take my order because they were all walking around in circles dazed and confused. All very young teenagers. It seems like they need an adult with them to keep them on track and off the phones and implement the importance of hygiene and hand washing.
Love Firehouse Subs, always a great sandwich, fresh veggies and the meats are awesome. The Brisket and Cheddar is one of the best and if you like hot sauce they have a large selection to add a little spice to your sandwich, try the Gator Hammock its one of my favorites.

2022-06-15Horrible experience. Took 20-25 mins. For one sandwich and they waited until I picked up my sandwich to tell me they were out of jalapeños... and offered no apology, just were out! 4 or 5 ppl behind the counter and only 1 lady looked like she was working.

2022-01-08This is by far the nastiest Firehouse I’ve ever been to. Everything is coated in this nasty, sticky layer of whatever that’s been floating around in the air. The windows are fogged over with the same film. The chairs all have black buildup in the cracks of the seats and back. I ordered the Mac and cheese for a side and it was literally cold and water runny as if they took it out of the fridge. I wonder if this franchise owner is aware of the state of this place or really even cares. I just recently moved to Cartersville and this will definitely be on the list of restaurants not to return to.

2021-10-22Food is really good. Cant say the same about the staff or cleanliness of the store. Ordered on line and picked up. 2nd pickup in two weeks that was missing items. Shame on us for not double checking before we left. Store had real bad sour smell like swampy water. Glad order was to go. Would have lost appetite if had to eat there.

2021-07-21Today was my first time ever having Firehouse Subs and I must say it was so delicious. I got the Italian and my daughter had the Firehouse Meatball, we will definitely be regulars. I also want to thank the young lady who held onto my pick up order earlier today after i had to call and cancel it due to delivery issues, I truly appreciate you for that. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
