First Watch in other cities:
It’s unfortunate that there’s no option to give zero stars. This location sucks! There was an extremely long wait for no reason. The food, when it finally arrived, was cold and not done. They were out of almost everything and our waitress gave a disclaimer that this was a “special menu” for Father’s Day, so certain items weren’t being offered. I’m not buying it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone visit this particular location unless you’re prepared for a very long wait, horrible food and sticky tables! Do better First Watch Alpharetta, the other locations are miles ahead of your sorry joint.
We met some out of town family here for breakfast and we were pretty disappointed.1. I asked our server if there was chocolate milk, she said yes so I ordered 2 for my young children. She asked if coffee to go cups were ok, and I said yes, assuming that they were just out of kids/regular to go cups. She brought the drinks and it was only after both my kids spit out their drinks that I realized they had brought HOT CHOCOLATE instead of chocolate milk. I asked the server if they had regular chocolate milk and she says “oh no we only have hot chocolate”. I repeated that I had asked her just minutes before if there was chocolate milk and she said “yes it’s hot chocolate”. I’m a bit baffled by this because had I known it was HOT chocolate I wouldn’t have given the scalding temp drink to my 3yr old and 6yr old.2. It took almost an hour to get our orders.3. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes, and was given 2 large dry pancakes with the smallest dollop of lemon flavored cream on top. There were a couple dots of ricotta through the pancake, and that was about it.I would not eat at this location again.
The server was really nice. My friend said the bacon was not as good as the First Watch near her but nonetheless still good. The potatoes were good and nicely seasoned. The place was clean and was practicing social distancing. Super cute, will definitely be back to try some of their vegan options.
This is a brunch place focused on health-consciousness and markets sustainable practices. We were trying to think of how to classify it and the words millennial and California both came to mind.On the upside, I liked the food, but admittedly I like arugula and advocado. Presentation was beautiful, and food tasted good. Kids menu was pretty standard for a brunch place. On the downside, it took surprisingly long for the food to come out. Service seemed a little slow overall.
My wife and I went to eat here this past weekend. We so loved the environment and our food! My wife got the avocado toast with potatoes and I got the Haritage Pork Chops with apple slices, eggs and cheddar cheese grits! We both really enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was also very friendly and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We will definitely be adding this place to our list of places to eat for breakfast! Keep up the excellent work
Deducting a major star for the wait and delay of this place when doing pickup (you’ll need an hour!) but the food is incredible. Both my husband and I got the power bowls and they’re so tasty and healthy. Please pick up the speed of service or have accurate pick up times on your app!
I usually go to the First Watch in Dunwoody, but I was driving by, and Im pleased to say that this location is just as good. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the food was delicious as always. I had one of the specials - the chicken chimichurri had, and it was fantastic.
This location has amazing curomer service and very healthy yummy options !!! From their yummy hot choclate and energizing morning meditation to their task options including their farm basket with yummy veggies. They also serve lunch but arent open pass 2 or 3. They also have these amazing multi grain pancakes . Although they have take out, if youre going to eat there waffles or pancakes its better to eat those actually inside the restaurant while theyre hot and make them take, you may not have the same experience or taste once you get them home. Also if you sign up for the e-club you get a free meal on your birthday just saying.Edit to add: if you ask for one of their health drinks youll be given a small portion and if you ask for the full size you pay almost 9 dollars if you get it without ice. Too me its not worth the price becasue two sips with ice and your done. Getting it with no ice its cost a full meal. So skimp on the the health drinks from here!
Ordered eggs Benedict & the hollandaise sauce was runny & tasteless. The ciabatta bread was cut so thin that I could barely tell what it was & thought they skipped it all together. The potatoes were burnt. The whole meal was tasteless! Wont be going back there at all.
Convenient location for breakfast or lunch meeting in Alpharetta. Food continues to be good healthy option but service was a little slow due to labor shortages. Be kind to the servers and tip as usual. They are doing the best they can do in the current labor shortage.
Great friendly, service from a knowledgeable, helpful server. The menu has lots of options too. The seating is spacious and very cushioned and comfortable. Though I think the tables are too narrow and far away from the seats. The temperature inside was very comfortable as well. The restaurant sits at a busy intersection but its fairly easy to get in and out.
I waited 15 minutes for a table for one, because the staff was too lazy to clear off the small tables. SEVERAL LARGE TABLES WERE AVAILABLE, but they wouldn’t seat me there because….why? It was 10:45 am: after breakfast and before lunch; I could easily have sat at a large table. I left. Never again.
This is a really nice place. Brunch, lunch, breakfast. The dinning area is well thought out and open. I ordered Togo and did not have to wait too terribly long before receiving it. And it was a largish order too. I personally got the Roast beef and havarti sandwhich. The others in my office swear by the kale tonic. It wasnt quite what I expected, though I was happy with it. Its very oriented for the health and environmental conscious. That being said, its a little steeper than I normally would pay for a sandwhich. But, its located in Alpharetta, so price goes with the area.
I visited this place while in Alpharetta. It was great and our server Rita was very knowledgeable and kind. She went above and beyond to explain everything on the menu. I ate the waffle which was delicious. If you are in the area, I certainly recommend you visit this place.
First watch usually have great costumer service. But every time I visit this location it’s ALWAYS something wrong. This time we waited about 45 for our food. Once we got our food was completely cold!!!!! We ask for our potatoes well done they were completely hard and uncooked. When we were talking with one of the manager or supervisor on duty. We were explaining the our food was cold and something were missing on our plate. We told him we was going to leave and he said go head and leave which I found surprising because instead of him try to fix it and apologizing he wanted us to leave instead. I came back inside and ask for his name and corporate and I was completely ignored by him. He said to get out and he was going to called the cops and I had done nothing wrong. This is my last time coming to this location I’m so disgusted with his behavior never experience nothing like that in my life. I also had my child with me and didn’t get to eat. So disappointed ☹️ I’m honestly more upset about how the employees was acting. He didn’t care and was super rude, he was not trying to fix the problem or acknowledge the bad service…. Just RUDE!!!!!
Husband and I went for breakfast this morning and was disappointed with the food. They werent terribly busy and our waitress was excellent, however; the food was not good. I ordered a blueberry pancake, it was so dry that the top and bottom separated when I cut it because it didnthave enough moisture in it t9. It hardly had any blueberries either. My husband ordered the traditional breakfast, the sausage wasnt cooked enough, the potatoes were half burnt and half still raw.I know that people are short staffed, but, come on, that was horrible. I would have never let that out of my kitchen. Your expeditor should have never let that go to the server. Hope things get better soon!
The service here was really slow. Mainly due to shortages, which is understandable. However, we were sat and then waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged. A couple that was sat after us had there order taken before us...makes no sense. After a while, we got our drinks with no silverware to stir our coffee. About ten minutes later we got our lukewarm food. At this time i asked for silverware. It seemed like she forgot so we asked again for silverware. I waited about 5 minutes before I could eat my food. Very disappointed.
Joined the wait list at 10AM with an advertised wait time of 30-40 minutes. Arrived and checked in at 10:20AM. Sat and waited another 30mins. I approached the host stand and was informed that we were “no longer” on the list. The host was kind enough to quickly clear a table and seat us. Our drink orders were taken quickly, then we waited 15 mins to get them and at that time our server took our order…. The time is 11:05. While we were waiting to be served we observed 3 tables who were visibly upset get up leave around us. We were committed to “waiting it out”. We know times are tough for restaurants and are patient. Well, our mistake. It’s now 12:20 and our server just informed us that their system has been having problems and our order never went through. It would have been better if the server had just told us that he screwed up. Here’s where we get upset: Three options. 1) Leave now 2) take our order to go and comp our drinks 3) continue waiting and pay for our meal. We chose option 3, at this point over two hours in, we don’t feel like starting over somewhere else. I don’t mind paying for the food and leaving my review with it.We are hopeful that the meal will be worth it as we just watched the people next to use receive their order and they just sat down 20 mins ago. It’s very unlikely we will choose this breakfast chain again. Poor service coupled with an un-empathetic response to their own shortcomings is not a healthy sign for a company.
Great quality food, and in the past we have had good service from this location. However, this time we tried their pick up service by ordering through their website instead of getting delivery from DoorDash. We found prices to be cheaper on their website than it was on DoorDash, so we gave that a try. They were too busy to select the time we wanted to pick up (10:45), so I selected noon. I arrived there 5 till noon, and no food was ready. I waited another 35 minutes for my food to be brought out. That was a little annoying as we had been waiting to eat all morning, and were hangry at that point. Food was 4.5 stars, pick up experience was 2.5. 3 stars for this entire visit
Went with my whole family as we were on vacation. Food was good. They did take a while on the drinks. It seems they pre make them and you will play the waiting game if they run out. Food was delicious. Due to them closing earlier they seem to leave dishes on the tables as opposed to cleaning the tables quick. Its a bit of an eye sore to see a bunch of dirty tables. Especially if youre waiting to be seated or if youre directly next to them as we were. Our waitress was very kind. Best part was hearing all the workers laughing at one point in the kitchen. To me that shows they all get along very well and have a bond. You dont get that in a lot of places.
First Watch has a lot of cleaner food options, which is why I love going there with my friends. Lately weve been trying brunch there and loving it. Both of us had the Trifecta eggs, meat and potatoes along with toast. You cant go wrong with that. Ill be back because I can also bring my dog to the patio. THAT is fun!
40 minutes of waiting for a seat (we were told 20 minutes max) with empty tables available, because they had too many to-go orders. Our table was sticky. Order was wrong. Food is ok, but it generally feels like they are picking more orders than they can handle comfortably.
The name of this place is called First Watch but it should really be called First Stop because you should always stop here first to start of your day with awesomeness. Tyler (he is a waiter btw) is the bomb dot com. He will bring you epic food and fill you glass with greatness juice to make your day great.
Food is ok, but the service sucks. Wont be going back to this location. We waited 20 minutes after being seated before we had our drink orders took. Then after we ordered our food, it did not come out at the same time. Had to ask 2 waitresses that were not assigned to my table for refills. Ridiculous...
The place is nice and good employees. I think the problem is the manager. To get sit is 40 minutes but they tell you 20 to 30. Then to take your order is another 15 to 20 minutes . Then to get you food is another 40 minutes and to get your check is another 15-20 only paying is 5 minutes. Just be prepare to spend your whole morning here. There were many tables open but dirty. So they have the tables but someone is not doing their job making those tables clean and available. I’m not sure when the waitress know that they got a new table because most of the time I have to go find one waitress. The food is good don’t mine the wait even that is a long wait .Thanks
I ate here 3times in a row. First 2 times I got the breakfast tacos which were really good and the last time I got oh I forget what its called but its fried and the shell wasnt good. In fact I had a stomach ache that lasted the remainder of the day..but overall I enjoyed the previous 2 times
A typical first watch experience. Staff was really very helpful at this outlet of first watch. Tried the new juices they have introduced for spring and certainly awesome addition to the menu. And must say that i really like the way in which they cook the mushrooms for omletes...so ever reliable first watch....
We did a quiet brunch here on a Friday. We got two entrees and 2 cups of coffee. Juevos Rancheros special was pretty good, although the black beans were a little too al dente and the liquid with them didnt have much flavor. Eggs were a little too well done and we didnt get that soft oozing yolk we would have liked. The eggs benedict florentine was pretty good although one of the eggs was probably a bit underdone and had slid off the bottom layers.Overall the biggest issue was how long it took for our food to come out. After our waiter took our order he never really stopped back in to check on us. It took a solid 30 minutes for the food to come. We even asked about our food and the waiter proceeded to go and start taking another tables order before checking on our food. When the food came out it was warm, but definitely not hot and clearly had been sitting there for a while. Other tables seemed to have better luck, so Im guess we were just unlikely.I would go back in hopes of better service.
My wife and I have had breakfast at the First Watch in Decatur, Lawrenceville and Peachtree Corners. This I have to stay has been the worst experience both of us; from lack of proper service to cold food. And while the manager Kevin did apologize several time, and at one point went in the Kitchen to prepare the food himself, the overall was poor. Although, We will not be returning to this location, we forward to dining at First Watch in future.
Great service and breakfast at First Watch! I realize that there are numerous solid breakfast and brunch options in Alpharetta, but throw First Watch into the rotation. The dreamy French toast was served with real butter, maple syrup and a berry compote. I also tried the chorizo and avocado omelet that came with toast and potatoes. The applebutter that came with the toast was heavenly. I wonder if they sell jars of the applebutter.
Great breakfast! Although they dont really feel well setup to handle large groups, Lindsey hostessed like nobodys business! She got us all at the same table (which wed initially been told was unlikely). Serious kudos to Lindsey! Food was great! Although they had to put our orders in on multiple tickets, we were told ahead of time and everything came out pretty close together. Food was well prepared, coffee was terrific and Rita (our server) was great! Definitely recommend, and well be back for sure!
The worst experience I ever had with the restaurant. Seating was quick, we stared at our menu for 20 minutes and then finally got our drink order placed 30 minutes in only because we had to flag down our server.. and then another 10 minutes after..we finally placed our food order. We kept giving them the benefit of doubt because they are nice people and we usually have good experience at other First Watch Restaurants... Even though, there were 4 other tables that were sat before us and their food came before us.After a total of 1 hour of wait with no food, no server letting us know the food is coming. We left with money on the table for the drinks.Im not saying all First Watch is bad or have bad service. Im just upset that they wouldnt let us know food was on the way and that 4 other tables who came after us were already eating... we patiently waited and quietly left without any verbal complaints for other customers to hear. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.
We go here frequently bc its one of the few places where our 4 year old will eat. It took 30 minutes to get our food after ordering and two mistakes were made with our order. Unfortunately the service has really declined the last 2 times we have been. The food is decent.
Have tried almost everything on the menu, always satisfied each time. The daily specials are great, and always recommend keeping an eye out for those. Always get a side of the million-dollar bacon, absolute game changer. Could get really crowded Sunday morning, but doesnt every breakfast-brunch place? For consistently good breakfast, this is your spot!Atmosphere: 2Service: 3Food: 4
My husband and i left. No social distance was being practiced. It smelled unpleasant. I felt very uncomfortable. I asked the server why were people being seated so close like back to back seating. She said we practice social distance but it was not. So my husband and i went to Broken Egg Cafe where it was clean, pleasant they even took our temperature before entering and being seated. If i could give First Watch 0 stars i would. They were all about the dollar.
I love First watch, I try to find one any time I am traveling. The staff here was friendly and the manager was super helpful when our food was over cooked not once but twice. We ordered the two specials and my dish came out great but my girlfriends food was hard boiled when it was supposed to be poached and runny. So while we waited for them to fix things we shared my meal. Unfortunately our dish was never fixed so we ran out of time and had to leave. The manager comped the dish which was nice I just hope the kitchen can fix the issue.
Im very pleased with the service and food here! I always get the a.m. superfoods bowl due to the fact that I dont eat meat, and this bowl does not disappoint! Very filling and in my opinion is a healthier alternative to the normal breakfast that we all know! The pancakes are the real deal too!
From my experience, the service is always great. My last visit was an early Sunday afternoon. There were quite a few folks ahead of us, which you would expect at that time of day, however our wait was not overly excessive. Once seated, our server greeted us, took our orders, and within 15 minutes our food was served. Our orders were to our liking; no problems at all. Clean table, clean dishes and service with a smile. Im looking forward to my next visit.
French toast was not cooked on both sides so 1 side was soggy. The breakfast tacos however were delicious, although unconventional, and the portions were good. I dont care for their coffee, very bitter and overly strong. Prices are a little on the higher side but its a trendy, hipster type breakfast place so I was expecting as much.
I really enjoy first watch because it’s healthy but also filling. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of the service. I make sure to watch not only how the waiter treats me but how they treat other customers. I don’t know what the issue was with me but she was very nice and welcoming to the other customers. At first, I thought she was having a bad day and possibly tired because it was the day after Christmas. But no, she just chose to be rude to my boyfriend and I. The food is good but when you have bad service, it makes the food less enjoyable. As far as the food, I suggest the farmhouse hash. I get it every time and it’s filling and delicious. I also love the toast and preserves they give on the side.
Not sure what to say. The waiters were nice but it seems strange that ones who came to eat and who want to pay for their meals have to wait in the same cue.I would call the dishes quite mediocre, and the coffee pot that they brought to us was dirty. Also, the waitress who told us that she will serve today never came back, and one who came instead forgot to include the juice in our order.Overall, it was not bad but nothing special
I loved this place. Their millionaire bacon is amazing. They have good keto choices and very well put together dishes. Something to go to everyday for the different options. Super friendly staff and well kept. Another great option for us to keep going back to when were in town.
I just had lunch with a business associate and had a great experience. While they were busy when we arrived we were sat quickly by who appeared to be the manager . (we saw him running around helping everyone while we there) The server Rita was friendly and helpful. The food came out fast and hot!! Its refreshing to see a restaurant really care about its employees and customers!!
Amazing breakfast food - always packed but quickly and expediently available. The service is top notch. Its the perfect blend of tasty and healthy. The juices and pancakes are amazing and obviously if you love eggs, the omelettes, mash mixes are astounding. Moreover, theres always a new pancake or juice mix to try.
Great new management and wait staff especially Manny but they just need to leave all cleaning until after last customer leaves. If you cannot order a coffee or tea with your food a suggestion might be to say all orders must be in by 2 and closing at 2:30 pm. When this issue is fixed this will be 5 stars all around. Great food great people & new management.
Good food, usually fresh and healthy. One time my salad had wilted leaves in it, but it was a one off case. My favorite dish in this place is avocado toast with a side of over medium eggs and bacon. Service is good as well, prompt and efficient. Good place to have a quick lunch.
Food is good at every first watch. Service seems to be consistently bad at every first watch. This location included. Servers don’t come back to check on you after your food is delivered, and by the time you find your server your food Is either cold or you’re half way through eating.
This breakfast joint in Roswell was really good. They did have gluten free bread. The eggs were fresh and The Omelette I had the egg white omelette was pretty good with the mushrooms Etc. I did not have coffee. the parking situation there is not the best sorry I dont have any pictures.
I go to the Johns Creek location all the time and love the food and service. Tried this location today and was completely unimpressed. I asked for different coffee after my first cup came out because it had an extremely obvious burnt taste. Ended up just drinking it in the end because it all tasted like that. I went with a friend and our waitress split the check. I got up to the counter and asked to pay for my half of the check and they ran the whole thing on my card. They called the manager to refund it who acted completely put out and I felt like he kept waiting for me to just say oh its okay, Ill just pay for all of it. He bad mouthed his staff in front of us saying they were in obvious need of some training and then he complained that the only way he could fix this is to call my bank. Finally after 5-10 minutes of this I did just say that I would pay all of it, but for such a bad experience I really didnt appreciate having to pay double for my meal. Also after all of that I feel like a good manager would have at least offered a sincere apology, if not some sort of compensation for double charging me. Stay away from this location and go to Johns Creek.
I enjoyed a different location and was excited to see there was one in Alpharetta. I did not have the same experience. The breakfast was not cooked well, the pancake that is usually amazing was not cooked thoroughly. The service was not the same either. Although I wont return to this location, I will still support the one I normally visit.
Great service. Healthy options along with normal breakfast options. Gluten free, vegetarian options. Full kids menu. Breakfast and Lunch specials. Regular coffee along with Cold Brew and herbal teas and a variety of fruit juices. The layout of the menu makes it easy for you to decide what you would like
Staff is awesome! Food is good and fresh, but the only reason I dont give 5 stars is they are hit or miss on the eggs, especially the scrambled ones, not that theyre not good, but perhaps their griddle is too hot & cooks too quickly. Everything else is great, though I would prefer they have an espresso machine at the one in Alpharetta so I can get a cafe latte.
The food and service are very good, they are prepared for covid-19 and taking all necessary safety steps. The reason I didnt give 5 stars was that the tables were very sticky to the point that I couldnt lift my napkin or the paper manu without tearing them. I was told that it was due to the cleaning spray they use by one of the servers
I went to First Watch for the first time after seeing this restaurant on Atlanta Eats. I ordered the Roast Beef & Havarti sandwich on Parmesan Bread. HEAVENLY DELICIOUS!!! As soon as I finished the sandwich I declared I NEEDED another one! The ingredients were fresh, the staff happy & helpful and the restaurant clean and welcoming. That was the first of many visits I see in my future.
Doesnt accommodate for vegans or vegetarians. Food was disappointing and over priced. Didnt get chicken on my salad but tried to charge me for it anyway. Gave me a dollar off for not getting chicken. You have to be kidding me that chicken only cost a dollars. The sever I had was pleasant but she was the only one. The manager was not accommodating and insulting. I will not be going back. I paid 20 dollars for a crappy salad and steel cut oats meal. Such a rip off.
We use to eat at this First Watch quite a bit, and really enjoyed it. We took some time off from eating out as much and had not been back in a while. We decided to meet my parents, and sister for a nice breakfast on Sunday 10/15/18. Sunday will be the last time I visit this restaurant. I ordered the Pumpkin Pancake special which I had ordered last fall during a visit. It comes with two eggs, chicken sausage and a pumpkin pancake. The breakfast was served on a nice large plate, but the meal was far from large. I just stared down at it in disbelief, it was half the size as the last time I had ordered it. If this was two eggs they were from a quail. My son and daughter got a kid’s meal with one egg, bacon and fruit. This too was a pathetic sized meal and they both asked, “is this even one egg”. So, I get the manager and politely point to my plate and ask, “is this really two eggs?”, he says “Yes”. I said, “it looks almost the same size as the one egg my son got with the kid’s meal”. His reply was, “than they must have given your son too many eggs”. That response is the very reason that I will NEVER be back and neither will my family or any of our friends that we have told this story too. What kind of manager responds that way? I will say, he reluctantly gave me one whole extra egg after asking again, but he never once apologized or said anything to make me want to come back. Great work, you lost a whole string of customers because of your inept response and management abilities. In addition, we all left hungry due to the gourmet sized portions of what we ordered. I have never left hungry after eating breakfast at any restaurant. Totally overpriced, subpar taste and classless management.
Great spot for brunch! I came here for a midday date with my husband last week. Great service. Great menu. It is located close to a TON of shopping and right off the freeway. Customer service is top notch!!! A lot of great healthy options without compromising great taste!!!
This place is so amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting everything you need. We order to go from here all the time and they are so polite on the phone and they all know the menu extremely well, which is very helpful. Clara the manager is such a hard worker she not only has the best customer service, but runs the kitchen like a boss. I love seeing her back their calling out orders. I am very impressed by how far they have come. The food is always amazing and hot! Thanks so much First Watch for being our #1 go to breakfast spot in Alpharetta.
The eggs Benedict with salmon was just a slab of bread with the smallest portion of salmon. Trifecta was a waffle and eggs. I ordered the eggs over medium but the egg white was still runny. The food was overpriced and we left hungry. Only upside was service was good.
Awful! Food and service were well below average. We will not be back. Eggs were undercooked and when I asked our server to replace them he brought one even runnier. I asked for over medium and these were pure liquid even the whites. Yuck! I asked the server to take them away as my stomach had already churned. He did with attitude. No real apology or follow up. As we checked out the hostess asked how everything was and I responded horrible. She saw awww and that was it. Possibly the worst brunch I have ever had. And not cheap. $30 for undercooked food that I sent back. I will email the manager.
I hope the general manager or district manager reads this review, please. Let me first off say that service here is absloutely fantastic, we come back for the service its that good. Me and my wife have been here well over 20 times and have never once seen a FOH manager, and i feel the presence of a manager is needed. Food has come out slower and slower each time we go, we came yesterday and had to wait an hour for our food, mine and my daughters came out first and my wifes about 10 minutes later. The servers are answering the phone, taking to go orders, seating people, bussing tables, all this is happening while the busser is slowly walking around on his ☎. I manage myself and i feel that someone needs to take charge, Im watching the restaurant go downhill and its disappointing, the ticket times are inexcusable. This isnt a review to complain and receive a free meal or to put people down. I believe feedback is needed and as a restaurant manager i really feel for the servers, all of them are great and need a real supporting team!! If that means new kitchen staff, a new busser and a new manager i say so be it. We will be back but i hope for change.
I’ve always had great experiences with First Watch, but this place has completely changed it to something even better! We had the best waiter ever. Sadly, I can’t remember his name, but he certainly brightened up our day! He even gave us the “VIP” table. I will be back if I’m in the area.
I normally stop here a couple if times a week to get breakfast. Today I called an order in I wad 20 minutes away, get there and my order wasnt ready no problem. I stood there anothet 20 minutes and watched as person after person come in place an order and leave. Not once did anyone come over to apologize or even inquire what I needed or if they could do anything to make it right. Finally got my order and it wasnt what I ordered. I will be contacting the GM for this location because this was totally unacceptable.
I have been to First Watch at different franchises around the country. I was hopeful that the Alpharetta location would provide a delicious brunch for me and my boyfriend. Unfortunately the first time we visited, my order came out wrong for my omelette and I left unfulfilled. We decided to try again for a second attempt and this time, we also left disappointed. The pancakes were DRY and my eggs benedict had overcooked, almost hard boiled eggs instead of POACHED eggs like any benedict has. We asked them to remake the eggs benedict and they put in a large tables orders BEFORE my food came out. We decided to leave at that point. I will not be visiting this location again.
Place is ok. Had a bad experience the first time I went but they made it right. Great service but the food is nothing exceptional. Some of the more famous and trendy Atlanta spots definitely blow this out of the water. But for what it is, it gets the job done at a decent price. You wont be disappointing but probably will not be blown away either. A safe bet if you are in Alpharetta and want to avoid some of the other chains. Original Pancake House is good, but might be a bit pricier and is more of a traditional breakfast I believe.
I was excited to experience First Watch after checking out the menu before I got there... but after I was seated I was never served. Not one server that passed me spoke to me or acknowledge me in anyway. I went back up to the hostess and asked did you sit me in the nobodys going to serve me area? he jokingly goes oh where you sitting again? Yeah.... dont worry about it... I hate pulling the race card but I have no choice when I see a server go to the white people who were sat down several minutes after me. The hostess had to tell her I was there first but she had already passed me several times
First, my order was wrong. When I said something to the server, she told me it was right. She later came back from the kitchen with the correct order ( which is what I originally ordered). Then my daughter found a HAIR in her food!!!! When we told the manager, he was very hestitate to do anything about it. Finally he said he would take the two orders off the ticket. Sorry... HAIR in your food.., the whole meal should have been taken care of!!!
We were there for an hour while the place was half empty. Three groups that arrived after us got served before us. Of them, ones order was completely wrong and another had hair in it. We finally just decided to stand up and leave. Manager runs out and gave the most half-hearted apology.Dont give this place your money.
Bad carry-out experience. We placed an order on their website, and when we came to pick it up, it was missing a whole meal. When we went back into the restaurant to ask about it, they asked us to see our carry-out bag for “proof”. They then told us they forgot to make it.
Missing items in food. Pancake no syrup. Eggs with market fresh veggies had burnt zucchini skin with no bread served . Waiter paid no attention. When I asked for bread i was asked oh you need bread ..I clarified does the egg not come with bread to which the answer was I am just the host not the waiter ...
Food was not etable. ALWAYS exceptional until today. Four in our party, sent one plate back; the replacement was worse. Another lady in our four; actually went to the restroom and threw up! Believe me. Nothing was right today, they should have just locked the door today and tried to make changes so they could open the doors tomorrow. LOST FOUR CLIENTS TODAY FOR SURE. Well make the drive to Snellville next time.

2022-05-10Good restaurant and good staffs. I found one small thing in the food. The chef came to me and apologized and didn’t charge for the food and replaced with new food. Very courtesy staff. Food taste also good. Recommended.

2022-03-26I wouldn’t recommend, we waited 45 minutes to be seated and the party after us only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. They’re also not very friendly here. The waitress(Amber)didn’t give us glasses for our pint of water or silverware and napkins we had to ask a different server that walked by just to get straws our server has walked by our table multiple times bussing tables instead of serving her tables. We’ve tried to catch our server as she walkes off but we are definitely getting the Racist vibe.

2021-09-18Pros:Really not expensive for the quality of food. I had the Parma Hash. Mouth wstering. Seasoned to perfetion, chargrilled and bajed. Accompanied with wheat toast pre-buttered with a strawberry preserve, texture like apple butter and really good. My companion ordered the Farmhouse Taco. This was really yummy. Wheat tortilla but light like a crepe but thicker. Seasoned well. Accompanied with a side and both entrees had fresh fruit.I have to say this was really good. Will be going back for the lemon ricotta pancakes.Con: million dollar bacon, not really good to me just sugary bacon. The pumpkin donuts didnt have and pumpkin yake to it, sort of grainy like cornmeal. You can taste cinnamon faintly. The dips a white glaze and cinnmon glaze just seemed like flavor sugar.

2022-06-05Not too crowded, but could tell it was near end of service hours. Quick to be seated. They were out of grits and biscuits, which I kind of understand trying to manage inventory and food costs to end of working shift. But it did require us to settle for what was available vs. desired. Overall, it wasnt the same positive impression as our first visit to First Watch. I wonder if there is a hidden meaning to a Second trip to First Watch?

2022-02-26Hit this week place at around 10:30 am on a Saturday morning. Parking lot looked full, but we were able to get a table immediately. Parking area extends to the left of the restaurant if full surrounding. Our server was attentive and friendly. Food came pretty quickly and everything was tasty and exactly what we ordered. Good choice if looking for a breakfast spot!

2022-03-01I arrived at 12:40 and was seated within a minute. Server was very pleasant and knew the menu well. She accommodated my unusual coffee order promptly. I had the chickichanga and can say that it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in the last 2.5 years in the US. I’ll definitely be back!

2022-04-18The best breakfast place in town by far. The staff is super friendly and their menu is great. The seasonal refreshers are out of this world, a bit sweet though. We go there almost every weekend for breakfast.
