We contacted FitzGerald and Sons plumbing for a bad pressure-reducing valve, after a bad experience with a different plumber, and we were very happy with the service provided. They recognized that our water heater was ancient and missing an expansion tank (we were aware of both things), and after talking it through with the guys, we decided it was best to take care of everything at the same time. We didnt feel pressured at any point and will likely have them out again should we need plumbing repairs.
Zack and Elijah were professional, polite, respectful and best of all they did excellent work installing the water heater in my apartment. They went above and beyond went they recognized and repaired a gas leak in the gas line in the water heater closet. I am so very grateful for their professional service. I highly recommend Fitzgerald & Sons Plumbing. They obviously train their employees to be thorough and professional. My father was a plumber, he said a job worth doing is worth doing right. Highly recommend! Had to call after hours for a pipe that was broken and leaking in the backyard and after leaving my information with the after hours service I got a call from Zack shortly after. Super responsive and came out to our house at 1030pm at night. Lifesaver! Got the job done quickly and efficiently. Was able to make an appointment for this next day after I called. They arrived on time during the time frame stated and was able to diagnose and fix the problem on the spot. The issue I had was minor, but they had all the replacement parts, tools and some extra parts that they provided at no charge. They did the repair efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. Awesome experience from the start. Tim came over to give me a few options on a tank-less water heater system. He was very thorough and his proposal cheaper than others I received for the same model. He also noticed I was retired Military and applied a discount for me. Day of install Tommy and his team came in and really went to work. They were ahead of schedule and called before arrival with plenty of time to be ready for our tank-less water system. The job is extremely neat and they go the extra mile to do things the right way. My old system was disconnected and removed from my garage. Tommy went over the system until I was comfortable and when he left I had a sense of comfort knowing if anything did go wrong that he would be back to correct. I highly recommend this company and their professionals.

I had a clogged pipe right near my septic tank, and all of my toilets and faucets were backing up. Thankfully, I called Fitzgerald and Sons and they responded to my issue with two plumbing professionals (Chase A. and I believe the other mans name was Gadden) within three hours. They took only 30 minutes to find the problem and fix it, and they explained their process to me throughout their time at my house. Thank you guys for being a great plumbing service that has un-beatable value!
When I discovered my water heater had developed a leak I called my go to plumber Fitzgerald. Shane and Amanda came 30 min earlier than promised with a new unit on the truck. In about 1and 1/2 hours the old unit was taken out and anew one installed for about $200 less than the estimate. I was afraid I would be days without hot water but the whole thing was finished within hours of discovering the leak. Shane and Amanda were friendly yet professional and really knew what they were doing.

My hot water tank started leaking on Wednesday evening. I contacted them through a referral system called BNI Thursday morning. They reached out to very quickly on the same day. Quoted me over the phone and we scheduled for them to come out Friday. They were available to assist on Thursday, but my schedule wouldnt allow it. They came out Friday afternoon, did and AMAZING job replacing the hot water tank. The staff that arrived to do the job was so professional and knowledgeable. From the very first phone call I received from their office, I knew I was in great hands. The person who I spoke to on the phone was professional and patient with me. Tim Rice was in continuous contact with us via email. This was customer service to the highest degree. This is the second time they came to service my home. Both times were amazing experiences. I would highly recommend FitzGerald and Sons for all of your plumbing needs.
Chase and his partner arrived on time and introduced themselves. I showed them what the problem was and they carefully inspected the area. Chase explained exactly what needed to be done. Both faucet valves in the laundry room were replaced with gate valves. He also tested the water pressure coming off the water pressure regulator, and discovered it was too high. The gauge showed 105 psi when it should have been 50 or 6o. Chase replaced the water pressure regulator and the main shutoff to the house. They did excellent work and cleaned everything up. If you want professional plumbers just call Fitzgerald. The work will be done right the first time. I have dealt with Fitzgerald for over 25 years, and have always been extremely pleased.
The single most amazing professional and personal experience I have ever had! From the first time I spoke with Sharon(?) at the front day to 15 minutes after hanging up the phone with her my miracle workers were here! Gab and Cody A(I remembered the A!) showed up and I saw these 2 little boys at my front door and I thought I was doomed. NEVER judge a book by its cover my friends! These 2 sweet young men were kind, professional, amazing, wonderful and got right to work! They fixed my blocked sewage line, cleaned everything up, and took extra time to explain everything to me in triplicate. Unbelievably reasonably priced. If you dont use this family owed, local, amazing company you are just crazy! I was so pleased with the responsiveness of the team working with Fitzgerald and Sons. Shane especially was very attentive to what I communicated was the problem and he troubleshooted the line from the dishwasher and systematically worked through and potential problems and the end result was our dishwasher now runs perfectly and we are definitely going to be using this company with any future plumbing needs!
What a WONDERFUL experience! HIGHLY recommended.Our garbage disposal stopped working the day before yesterday. I am immune compromised so we were a little nervous about having someone come out to the house. Luckily, Fitzgerald plumbing is on top of their game when it comes to COVID-19 safety. Chase was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. He and his partner (I dont know his name but he is great too!) both wore masks, shoe covers and kept their distance. They were respectful, knowledgeable AND they got the job done in about an hour. If and when we have plumbing needs, we will definitely be calling FitzGerald and Sons. A month after we moved into a new home, we had a clogged toilet. My husband called this company based off someones recommendation. They got the job done but OUCH...it was more than $400 over what we were charged for the same service we got a couple months earlier at our previous home from Go Rapid Inc. I was shocked at the cost difference!
Great Experience with Tommy from Fitzgerald. When I contacted them to request a service call, , I identified my problem as water heater leaking from the bottom. Appliance was old so I assumed it needed replacement. Technician called and arrived on time as scheduled. He assessed my problem and quickly told me that my problem was a leaking valve, which i hadnt noticed underneath, and asked if i wanted him to just repair the valve. Immediate honesty and no pressure to sell the water heater on board the truck!!! Tommy was friendly, professional and proficient at his job. Needless to say, I went ahead withthe replacement of the water heater as I was on borrowed time due to the appliances age. I highly recommend.

Ive being doing business with Fitzgerald and Sons for almost 15 years. Not once have I been disappointed with any of their services. I have a tankless water heater that requires annual maintenance. Today, Chase was here to take care of it. During his visit he asked me about the valve where the water comes into the house. He asked if the pressure had been checked. I told him no one else had asked about it and everything seemed to be fine. To my surprise, my water pressure was 33 pounds and it should be 60 pounds. Never did I think to ask about it, the water pressure was that way when I bought the house and I thought it was the way it should be. Thanks to his simple question, the water pressure is where it should be and I am much happier, thanks to Chases curiosity. Thanks Fitzgerald and Son.

It took 1 and a half hours to replace a tub downspout and to change the little drain in the sink that I had purchased at home depot and after it was installed..it was the wrong kind. The new downspout that also bought at home Depot was called a piece of S.and disposed off in a buquet..he got one from his truck and placed it on my tub. He was on the phone with another plummer that needed help. In conclusion I will not use them again
We had a leak in the line from the water meter to our house, caused by tree roots. Chase and his colleague did a great job finding the leak quickly and repairing it, and their work is guaranteed. The service was also reasonably priced.
Every job begins with a call to the office. Their office staff is outstanding. Each plumber is courteous, kind, and forthright. I’ve been a customer since 1986 and over the years they’ve been extremely reliable and helpful.
Scott was our technician and Brandon was his helper. They are both hard working men and know their business. They explained what they had to do and tried to solve our problem. It was determined to be a septic matter and they contacted a septic company personally to explain our problem and arranged to have the septic tank company do the repair work tomorrow. From the receptionist who answers the telephone to Scott and Brandon who visited our home I am very satisfied with Fitzgerald and Sons Plumbing and would highly recommend this company for any plumbing repairs. I will keep their telephone number handy and call them again if we need an honest dependable company.
Its taken me too long to write this for Tim Rice at Fitzgerald and Sons Plumbing. Tim has bailed me out more than once. A last minute fix that another contractor forgot. A waterline that wasnt where it was supposed to be, and even updating small things like the pressure regulator on the home water line. Hes proud of their reputation for quality work and it shows. If you need any help with anything that goes through a pipe - give them a call!

Had very minor plumbing issue replacing a shower head that I would have normally handled myself. Unfortunately needed help. Have used FitzGeralds since back in the day of breaking poly blue water lines. They have always stood behind their work and Ive only have a couple of minor issues over the years. Still my choice.
Jimmy was absolutely outstanding. We had a late night polybutalene pipe burst (yes we are getting quotes for full home replacement). He was in and out in under an hour and a half. The room with the leak was right next to our sleeping baby, and he was able to do all the work without waking our baby! He also took extra care to minimize wall damage to a recently painted mural. Kudos to Jimmy, please recognize this man, hes a 10 star employee!

In the early 2000s the owners son moved out of the rental house two doors down from me. He left a dog in the garage with a bucket of food and a bucket of water. The dog eventually broke out a few days after he moved and he was turned into animal control. Im sure no charges were ever brought to this abusive animal owner. Ive kept this to myself for too long. I hope this helps someone make a decision about the management of this company.

Our kitchen sink drain decided to stop working early Thursday morning at a bad time. We called FitzGerald and Sons Plumbing and a short time later they came and took on the challenge of fixing a seriously clogged drain. Im a reasonable person so Im going to be as fair as possible on this review. The customer service was ok. The lady on the phone was responsive and was eager to get someone out to look at our problem even though it took a couple days to get someone out here so thats the reason they get a second star. HOWEVER, she did say that it was 90$ for them to come look and see what the problem is but if they started to work it started an hourly rate. At first I thought Ok cool I already have an idea of whats going on I just want a second opinion from a professional. I did not realize she meant it literally. When they say its $90 to look at it, thats exactly what they mean. The plumber gets here, and he was very easy to talk to, he listened and I told him the work I had done already, I also SHOWED HIM by turning off valves in the house and looking at the meter I had determined which line the leak was in. It was in our main. This much I knew already before he showed up. I told him I thought it was under the slab and that I needed him to confirm this. He was literally here for 5 minutes and stuck a metal rod in the ground outside in the yard only 5 times, all in the same spot and says I cant tell where the leak is it but its going to be $2600 to replace your main. He hands me an invoice, says I can pay the $90 over the phone, and is on his way. Obviously I dont have $2600 laying around so I make some calls to some friends and the recommend a friend that is a plumber and without even looking tells me its going to be $1000. So I schedule HIM and not Fitzgerald because hes cheaper and highly recommended. Keep in mind Fitzgerald has not called to collect their $90 yet.This all happened on a Tuesday if I remember correctly. The other guy gets out here Friday and has already dug up my main and discovered the main line was in a completely different area than where the Fitzgerald guy was poking around and the line didnt even go into the slab. Meanwhile why he is here working on replacing it Fitzgeralds calls wanting the $90. I ask the same nice lady from before, so you want $90 for literally nothing?. She responded something along the lines of yes, its $90 for our technicians to look and thats it. Well I paid because he did come out here but they literally didnt do anything, AT ALL. I still to this day dont understand what they offered me that was worth the $90. He didnt even find anything nor did he bother to look in my opinion. Just be warned that they literally mean they wont do anything! Also someone else fixed it for less than half what they quoted me and was done in under 5 hours. Based on my experience overall I would not recommend this company.
Be very CAREFUL doing business with Fitzgerald & Sons. Technician came to my house and misdiagnosed both problems he was supposed to fix. First was the bathtub: We informed him that the tub was leaking very bad and his fix was to caulk around the spout and lever. He never verified that the leak was fixed and after he left it leaked as it had. The second issue was a leak in the sink in the master bath. He replaced the P-trap (it was damaged) and informed us that the leak was due to a crack in the sink itself and did nothing more. (FYI the sink is a 1/2 inch cast iron sink) Replacement of the sink was quoted at $400+. So... to caulk around the tub fixtures and replace a P-trap I was charged $363.Upon contacting the owner to see what resolution we could come to, he informed me that he would look into the job, talk with the technician and get back with me. Since this communication I have called 4 times left 3 personal messages with the owner and have yet to receive any response. I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU NOT USE FITZGERALD AND SONS AND INSTEAD FIND A COMPANY WITH INTEGRITY, COMPETENCE AND SOME LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I woke up to every homeowners disaster....a leak in my finished basement that I couldnt find. 3-4 inches of water on the floor - all I could think of was how much this was going to cost me!I cleaned everything up, turned off the water, and called a plumber. I actually tried to call a solo contractor first. I couldnt get the first two I called to answer the phone! I then called the only big name reputable plumbing company I had heard of here in Peachtree City - Fitzgerald Plumbing.The receptionist was nice, efficient, and had a 2-person team here in 45 minutes.They were here about 1.5 hours -- I paid $197.The service was excellent - both on the phone and with the techs. I couldnt be happier with this company!
Fantastic service. Scott the Technician was amazing. Explained the problem and our options. I had a leak on my water line. For what the leak detection experts from Atlanta wanted to charge to just locate the leak, Fitzgerald & Sons located the leak & fixed the problem!!! Ended up costing less than half of what I thought I would have to pay. I HIGHLY recommend them.
I had a kitchen Moen faucet problem, it is 14 years old. So I bought a replacement unit and paid $199.00 for it. Then I realized I could not replace it as I did not have the right tools or knowledge to do so. So I called Fitzgerald & Son. They told me that Meon faucets have a life time warranty for original owners of the house. So I called Meon and sure enough they are sending me a new upgraded 2016 replacement faucet. I can not thank Fitzgerald & Sons enough for being so helpful. When the new faucet arrives Fitzgerald will install it for me. Fitzgerald has saved me $199.00. We had a leak at our water heater that was noticed near the end of the day. I called Fitzgerald and Sons around 4:45 that afternoon and they had someone at our house around noon the next day and the water heater was swapped out and they did an excellent job.
The technician, Chase, was very professional and answered all of my questions very knowledgeably. He diagnosed the problem straight away and was able to complete the repair right away. I was very pleased with all aspects of the service call and I will be calling them again when I have a plumbing dilemma!
I had a very bad clog in my kitchen sink to the point where the sink wouldn’t drain at all and Chris had it unclogged in minutes! He was very informative about what the problem was and it was clear that he knew what he was doing. My sink drains better than it ever has. I highly recommend this company. Very professional!

Very very disappointed. Never have I written a review and I am disappointed this has to be negative. Called Fitzgetald at 7:45 a.m. And was given a window of all day. So I stayed home all day. Cancelled everything. Carried the phone all day. Got a call at 4:50 pm saying they cant get to me. I could make an appointment for next Tuesday. Had I known this at 7 am I certainly would have made other plans. I read the negative reviews here and decided to give the benefit of doubt. Big mistake. Just be honest when someone calls, their time is also important.

I had a back up in our house about 9 pm i called Fitzgerald and said they would send someone right out. They finally called me at midnight to say they had no one to come out,but they could come out the next day. i was told they would call before showing up,they did not. They snaked out the drain until their auger stopped,they said it couldnt be fixed they would need to dig up our yard and not to use our water. It was $500.00 I called our Citys water and sewer and talked to them,they were out in an hour found the issue and our water problem was fixed-no charge-The city will do the digging to completly repair the problem, im not sure why Fitzgerald didnt do that. They also told me someone would call me the next day to ask how the service was and to give me an estimate to dig up our yard and fix the problem........still waiting on that call as well!
I highly recommend Jimmy Beebe. He is amazing, patient in finding a resolution, and does outstanding work. My husband and I are very grateful for the work he did for us.
Repairmen came out the day I called. They were prompt, courteous, and made the repair quickly, and offered suggestions to keep things running efficiently. I recommend them for any plumbing needs.
Please have lots of cash available. It was $275 to snake the line. It backed up again immediately and so the next day they come out and snake it to get the stuff they didnt get the first time. That was another $275. So now Im up to $550. They did promise (if it is actually needed) to waive the next unclogging and the camera fee would be hourly. However, in writing it turns out they only will waive the unclog but I will pay the full camera fee, which is quite a bit more. Again, have lots in your checking account before you call.
They charge $160+per hour to find a leak in my store. It ll take 3 hours to find what was problem, and send invoice for $500+. I ll never recommend to anyone. A plumber charge $160+Thats too much. It wasn’t even weekend or night time. Daytime he worked.
Installed 2 tub/shower trim kits. Very efficient and professional. Any risk was accurately communicated to me prior to commencement of work.
Called at 230pm to get on the schedule to get a dishwasher installed. To my surprise they were able to come out that day and get the job done. Very thankful for that.

2022-05-06We had somewhat of a plumbing emergency. House New to Us moved in 25 years old bathroom water shut-off valve failed flooded their bathroom. Fitzgerald and son came out after hours and fixed our problem and found one other issue we need to take care of pretty quick. Fast prompt service friendly very informative very professional will be calling them to take care of those couple issues that we have. Awesome company awesome service.

2022-04-20Simple job of installing a broken toilet flange. The guys did a great job - quick, timely, friendly.I wish Google would let me leave another five star review but you only get one. Fitzgerald and Sons knocked it out of the park again by coming out last minute to plumb in a water heater I had attempted to DIY. They did an incredible job. Im extremely pleased with the work.

2021-11-16Scott and Tyler not only fixed my water heaters thermal expansion tank, they also explained in detail about the pressure release valve and why it’s so important and how to test the pressure . I didn’t have any knowledge of why this is important. Scott is so knowledgeable and professional . I would definitely recommend them .

2020-07-01My water heater broke and my apartment flooded, we called Fitzgerald and Sons and we had two very courteous and professional technicians come out. They very quickly were able to replace the water heater. They both were very nice, made sure my cat didnt run out of the apartment while they were doing the installation. Very respectful and even in the flooded areas made sure they were wiping their feet before coming inside and cleaned up after and left no trace they were even there. I highly recommend this company after this experience.

2021-01-07Legitimately, Sean and the folks at Fitzgerald and Sons have been the most amazing contractors I’ve ever worked with. They installed a tankless water heater and moved our laundry room plumbing for a renovation. It was fairly complicated. I cannot recommend them more highly. From Tim who did my estimate to the office folks and Sean and the crew who did the work, everything was amazing. Worth every penny.

2021-01-22The service this company provided me was outstanding. I recently bought a house and noticed that there was a wet spot on my front lawn. I called one plumber and he didn’t want to help. I called Fitzgerald and Sons and they took care of the issue. The guys dug through several layers of roots and found the issue. The previous property owner used a compression coupler?! Fitzgerald and Sons replaced it with a four 90 which is what professionals use.The price was very reasonable! This company is now my go-to for all my plumbing needs!

2021-01-28Kevin and Jesse were our plumbers for this job. They were great. They were very respective of our health (masks) and property (shoe coverings). Further, they were friendly and professional.Kevin took his time to diagnose our problem and suggested what could be done. He explained the job thoroughly before he did it and while he was doing it, showing me why the parts had to be replaced. He made a welcomed suggestion for a problem I didnt call about but knew about.🙄When it comes to price, well a plumber expertise is not cheap. What I liked was that they have a notebook with set prices for the jobs. No guessing involved. You want the job done, they can tell you the price upfront.You can not go wrong calling Fitzgerald & Sons for your plumbing needs.
