I love Five Guys and Fries I dont go that often but the last times I visit and took my food out it was wrong. This is not something that happens all the time but be very careful check your food before you leave the store. Otherwise nothing like a dirty Burger and genuine french fries
I usually love Five Guys, but this location needs to get it together when it comes to prompt service and getting an order correct. The group putting the orders together seemed lost and unorganized. It could be from lack of proper time and training. Hopefully, the next time is better.
Please don’t make DoorDash drivers wait. They are paid by the delivery sometimes as little as $2.50. I watched one day while customers came in after a DoordashDriver and you took their order and made their food and served them before you gave the DoorDash driver his order the driver walked out and I can’t blame him the food is supposed to be waiting. It’s called DoorDashing not door waiting
I like the burgers at Five Guys, and the fries are great as well. Unfortunately, I cant justify spending almost $19 for a burger, fries, and a shake.Five Guys is good...theyre just not THAT good in my opinion.Will I visit them again? Certainly! Will I visit within the next six months? Probably not.
Customer was service was great. Clean inside. I order took a little longer than expected but that was ok each employee was multitasking by still moving without a sense of urgency to get food to customers. Moving forward, I placed my ordered got back home only to realize there was no BBQ sauce or my burger that I asked on top of that the lettuce I asked on my burger as well was only 2 small piece scraps as if they ran out the tomatoes where there and cheese. The Cajun fries from my experience at any 5 guy locations be great, but not this time. Only reason why I didnt give it less than 3 was because atleast the food was hot enough.
I dont know how they train staff, but this place cranks out the tastiest burgers. Some places falter when too mitch business comes through the door... not this place. Order 100 burgers, I dare you! Theyll all be delicious, youll want to eat them. And some nice person will happily hand you the twenty carefully packed bags it takes to carry them to the cardiac ward nearby. Fries arent my style, but theyre fresh and do the trick.
Ordered online for curb side pickup and notified through the app when I arrived. Nobody came out, so I called and was put on hold. Nobody picked up and after 5 minutes I called back, no answer this time. I went inside just to find out the food wasn’t ready even though by now it was 30 minutes since I ordered. 10 minutes later I finally got food, fries were hot but the burgers were cold. Staff was not friendly and far more interested in their own conversation than waiting on customers. My last time for 5 Guys.
Good burgers and well run, exactly what Ive come to expect from my other experiences from five guys. Theyre a bit pricey compared to other places but its certainly worth it. I recomend.the cajun fries as well, a medium will be more than enough for two people if you havent already filled up on free peanuts. The times I have been there they havent messed up my order once and it always comes out promptly. If youre looking for some good greasy comfort food to go into a food coma with, this is the place.
Love! Love! Love! Ive been to this restaurant maybe 6 times in 4 months and its a positive experiece everytime I visit. From the cashier who takes my order, to the person making my shake and the person handing me my final to go bag. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I appreciate the kitchen being open, it allows a clear view of your food as well as being able to communicate with the employees during the process. Yes, the cost is quite a bit higher than your typical burger king burger, however, they make up for it in both freshness and portions. You sincerely get what you pay for. LOVE IT!
Ive gotten away from eating fast food, but it had no time in my day to do otherwise. Stopped for a burger and foolishly ordered small serving of fries. Way too much oil. Youll still enjoy if you go there just make sure you have someone to share with. Back to salads this week.
This wasn’t my first trip to five guys or this location. The service and the food quality have dropped dramatically at this location and their prices are incredibly high. None of the tables were clean and my daughter complained about the bathroom. They didn’t appear to assign anyone to the lobby,condiments, drink machine or counter clean up! All we’re a sloppy mess and they were out of tea.Two adults (2 cheeseburgers, 1 drink) and 2 children (2 plain hotdogs, 2 drinks, 1 small fry) was $55 !My hamburger was overcooked and dry!The cashier was rude and dismissive and refused to explain any menu options when we ordered. She told me they had a children’s menu. Obviously they don’t! I will never again pay $7.50 for a hotdog in a bun!This is a fast food restaurant with no table service. No future visits!
Don’t bother wasting your time with their “delivery” service. Early during the pandemic we used it successfully- when a Doordash person picked up. However we’ve tried ordering 2 in the past 3 weeks and it seems like they’ve shifted to Postmates drivers. The first time our order was 35 min late and cold. When it was 15 min late I called the store (as the website instructs) and they told me to call Postmates and gave me MY OWN phone number to call. While on the phone a Postmates driver showed up to pick up the now COLD order. When filling out feedback seeking a refund Postmates told me it was a Five Guys issue and Five Guys told me it was Postmates. Needless to say, their finger pointing at each other left me with ZERO resolution.We tried ordering tonight and this time a Postmates driver called to say Five Guys didn’t have the food. But the order tracking says it’s been delivered to our house (obviously it hasn’t).The food is good, that’s the 2nd star and why we order, but I won’t be flushing any more money down the drain with these guys.
The food is always fresh and has a lot of taste. However, you should always check your order for correctness. Theyve slipped up a couple times and, once before, gave Me reg fries instead of Cajun, and forgot the meat entirely from My burger. This time, they left out the bacon all together. Because of that, they gave Me a large serving on the side. So, look in the bag!
We all know Five Guys makes an incredible hamburger -- except for this location. It was a disaster tonight. Out of four orders, they got one right. They did remake the whole order for us (and got it right the second time), but the mushrooms and veggies were undercooked and the fries were cold. The bathroom was filthy. No hand soap. Puddle of pee on floor by urinal. Trash was overflowing throughout restaurant. No ketchup in dispenser. And worst of all, the staff acted like they didnt want to be there. Horrible experience and I frequently eat at another location. Ownership really needs to do something about this location or its going to lose business.
Customer service was good. They have it in orders. They seem to work well together. The open floor to see them making your burger is great. Hamburger was made on the spot. This is why I give it 3 stars. After that everything went down hill. Tasted terrible. The fries looked bad and didnt try them. I had 2 coworkers with me and they know more than I do when it comes to burgers and they thought it was terrible. We were all disappointed. The drinks were not standard either. There were nothing good about the food. While customer service wasnt bad, I wouldnt come back due to the burgers not tasting even decent.
My family and I go to this restaurant on occasion. The staff is always friendly, lively and entertaining. The food is consistently good. I REALLY HATE RATING IT SO LOW BECAUSE THEY DONT DESERVE THIS - The team gets 5 STARS. My biggest concern is the foul smell of sewage when approaching/using the restrooms. Im pretty adamant about washing my hands before I eat and every time I go to the back, I want to wretch! The bathroom appears clean most of the time but that smell takes it to another level. I mentioned it to the manager about 2 months ago and she said they were getting it fixed but it was still horrible tonight. Its like all the old food from all day had been festering back there in a warm open container. That stench is really foul and Im typically there at night. I hate this because this is the most convenient one in my area but Im not sure I can continue to go back there. This isnt McDs! Were paying quite a bit more for this food - its very good and the service is great, so I dont mind. The 5 Guys organization/franchisee needs to ensure the customer experience is positive in EVERY way. (I did notice another suggestion I made about the auto towel dispenser placement in the ladies room not being over the trash can. Clean paper came down and inevitably, was in contact with the can below it. I saw that it was moved so I feel like they responded - thank you! ) Also, if the staff has to use/endure that bathroom it makes me wonder how sanitary the place is in general! YUCK!!!
The place was not clean. We had to clean off our own table no one was maintaining the dining area. The trash cans were full ketchup dispensers were empty. The young lady behind the register taking orders didnt seem to care if she took my order correctly and she didnt. I would give one star but the 2 young ladies bagging my order took time to fix it. It will be a long time before I visit again.
Small but nice place. However, the bottom line staffs are not very friendly; thank goodness the managers are and friendly and understanding. I personally have not tasted their food; but, apparently whatever they offer must be good, for they have a lot o customers both new and returning.
Five guys is wonderful! I had a great experience here. The only problem is they have those new Coca Cola omni drink stations. You know the ones that have like 137 different types of drinks? Well Coca Cola has not been replenishing these frequently enough at this establishment, to the point where most of the drink options were greyed out(even Coke Classic and Sprite) but they made up for it, because the sweet tea was ON POINT! 10/10 would recommend!
I love Five Guys Burgers & Fries but this location was the absolute worst! We ordered online for our food to be ready for curbside pickup @ 6:15. I tried calling them at 6:30 when our food wasnt out there & no one answered the phone. He ended up having to go in & all one of the girls in there was doing was griping about the customers. We will not be going back to this location ever again. I cannot wait for another Five Guys to come to Douglasville because the Austell location sucks.
Its better than fast food, but just okay. $13 for a little bacon burger with cheese, small fries, and small drink and they STILL forgot to put ketchup, mustard, and pickles on my sandwich. This is the second time toppings were left off my burger. For that price I need my order to be perfect without me having to remind you.
Food is always really good. The lady taking orders on 7/12/19 st 1:24 pm needs an attitude adjustment. Not friendly at all and acts like she doesnt want to be there period. I normally give 5 stars, but today I cant. Customer service matters and she got my order wrong. At this point I dont even feel like getting it correct.
Its Five Guys. The burgers are good. I think the fries could be a little better, but if you know Five Guys, you know what youre getting. The downside is that the shop is often just a little grungy. Its little things mostly, but its unfortunate and detracts from the overall experience.
I have been to this location near closing before and have gotten better service. It wasnt necessarily bad, just lacking in some areas. The manager was eating at a table and having a loud personal conversation on her cell phone, and stopped every now and again to bark orders to the crew members. Also I paid for a large fry which is a little over $6 so that there would be enough for three people to share, and I guess they didnt want to cut more fries so close to closing (9:30pm), because the customary extra dump of fires to rhe bottom of the bag was left off. The burgers were cooked as ordered, and the store was clean for the most part. The young lady that took our order was friendly.
This location is the worst. Not only was it dirty but they messed up my whole order! No cheese on my CHEESEBURGER, the lettuce was just scraps of what looks to have been leftovers. The grilled onions werent even grilled. The meat was awful, it had a nasty taste to it, I couldnt even finish it. There should be training or even an adult at this location since all the employees are kids. What a joke.
Their fries are greasy and remind me of boardwalk fries which I love. Unfortunately like most things we like, Im sure they arent healthy. The burgers are on the expensive side and werent hot like they should be and the wait was on long side for burgers that werent hot. For two burgers, fries and two sodas it was $25.
This 5 guys is a mess. The kids who work there are all over the place and often make mistakes on complex orders so just get the burgers the way they are made or else your order will be messed up. The location is busy and in those high traffic times its as though the customer service and attention to detail goes out the window. Love 5 guys as a franchise, but have very little love for this locations team and work ethic.
Slow. Waited 30 minutes for two burgers and fries. They made the burgers, let them set than waited 20 minutes for fries. By the time we got the food home (nearby) the burgers were cold. Cold like they had been cook, then put in a refrigerator. Not impressed. Ive been to Five Guys in four states, this one was disappointing.
I will give a 3 star only because my burger was delicious! But customer service can improve, granted the cook welcomed in in with hello how are you but didnt pay me any mind when I asked how how she was doing never looked back my way lol that lets me know they just say it out of routine.... they need to have more friendly cashiers collecting orders the few times Ive came its been the same thing dry and when I ask a question they look at me like I should kbow... um hunny this is my 2nd time here I am not a regular lol... and honestly that is what makes me not want to come back although again the food is delicious.
I had to pickup food from the business in Austell, Ga. last night and deliver it to a customer. Upon walking in, I noticed the floors were horribly dirty. The three you men behind the counter were unfriendly, unprofessional, and uncoordinated. I, and one other customer, waited for our order for thirty minutes before the three men had to be reminded that we were still waiting on our orders. I will, personally, NEVER, order from that particular restaurant.
22.00 for a burger, fries and grilled cheese made out of 2 topped seeded hamburger buns. Never in my life will I ever patronize a 5 guys again.Way over priced.You lost me for life.Could careless if you shut down every single store in Georgia.Wouldnt miss nothing.I want half my money back..........
Place was clean cashier was nice but I attempted to call my order in and had an extremely hard time. When I called a young guy answered the phone with “hello” I had to ask if I was calling five guys after we cleared that up I was told to hold. I decided to just go in and place my order. I hope the food isn’t as bad as the customer service on the phone.
Best burger you can get for the money. Fresh ground beef, heaping portions of food, awesome staff. Cooked to order, and you get what you wait for. Amazing restaurant. There should be one on every corner of every city in America. Not sure what homeboy was talking about, this IS a chain. The best one there is!
Will never return to this location. The staff got the order wrong twice. The staff member did not want to replace the burger. The staff member was asked to get the manager. The manager came with an unprofessional attitude. When He was told the issue, his reponse was rude and he snapped , I will replace burger. But the staff still did not get the order correct.The other sandwiches in the total order were sloppily made. No, will not return.
Its a little rough on the digestive system later, but Five Guys Burgers are absolutely DELICIOUS! You can put all the toppings you want on, and I definitely encourage the cajun fries. HOWEVER--If you have a Peanut Allergy, please beware. There are peanuts all over the restaurant as a free snack for customers waiting on their food.
Got burger order wrong. Fries were soggy and under cooked. My burger was overdone with little flavor. Toppings were sparse: tomato was paper thin, one small sliver of a green pepper. My wife said her burger had ok flavor, but was not any better than a fast food drive-thru. My daughter would only take 2 bites of hers. $37 for 3 lousy burgers and 2 soggy fries (no drinks). Wont be going back.
Where to begin!? Initially needed a large Cajun fries, got regular light salt. No biggie, just unbuckled the kid and walked back in. The cashier apologized and said they couldnt take it, so do whatever (eat it) you want. While I wait for the new set, another person (assuming manager, was working with a headset) approached my daughter and asked what kind of milkshake she would like? My kid replied strawberry, and 3 min later, she got one, no charge. In the mist, also asked me if I wanted a drink while I wait. I denied, but thanked them, just for being blown away by this customer service. Glad to be a returning customer
I was really disappointing with this place the burgers are amazing like always but some off the staff are really rude the lady taking my order was so mean taking my order almost make me feel bad for been there ordering food took my order and then roll her eyes when she saw more customers walking in it was 9:20 they dont close till 10 I dont understand why they were mad for people walking in and then the lady cooking toll other crew guy its going to be a long knight like almost mad at the fack that there was more customers in line I dont understand thats your job to cook and be nice to your costumers but I guess you got to love it to do it correctly and this guys only work for a paycheck not to be better and do better great burgers on a low service not what 5 guys stand for.
Came in on a rainy day...guy parked his beat up Honda Accord straddling 2 parking spaces like he was driving a Maserati. No one at the register. Fryer oil and boxes of peanuts block the view out of the window. Dining room arranged for parties of 8. Why??? When most I have ever seen in there over the last few years is 1-4 people. Food is good but prices keep going up. Chairs have a cheap aluminum foot on them. Every time someone moves a chair it sounds like fingers on the chalk board. Music is often loud. Customer service can be great but can be so-so other times.
Food was good. My son really enjoyed the peanuts. Dvante James was working the register and was very patient while my son decided what he wanted...and then changed his mind. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the weather and Dvante made sure to come outside and check on us and see if we needed refills or anything else. Dvante, thank you for the excellent service. We will be back to see you.
Food was great but called the order in because i had no time to wait 15 mins later when i arrive3 employees in the parking blocking 5 parking spots had to park across the parking lotOnce i got in side my food had not been startedIt was good food as always but 17 plus for a burger fries and a drink at fast food is crazyLove you place but can only afford to eat there every 4 months
Customer service is no good. I called in at 9:20pm to try to place an order to pick up. A female put me on hold for over 5 minutes and when I tried to call back about 5 times and the phone was not available at the moment. I walked in and ordered my food and while waiting I called the phone once more and I didnt hear a ring in the restaurant. It said not available at the moment again however, there are 5 staff members up front.
Sunday I went to this particular five guys a young lady by the name of LaTrice who I think was the manager was so nice and pleasant to us,excellent customer service and Id go there a thousand times over,I hope I have her name right bc she really made my day with her personality....
They got my order wrong after waiting for so long and they were very rude when I told them about my order been wrong..I was so pissed plus my burger was saggy because I had to was another 10mins for them to give me my right.i didn’t get a we sorry for getting your wrong or anything....never going back

2022-05-01Great food, great service and the best milkshakes Ive ever had. If youre looking for a place to eat and have a nice time with your family, partner or friends then this is a great place to come to. They also have fresh peanuts (of course if your not allergic).

2022-06-05Ordered and waited about 20 mins. They called everyone’s number around mine. I asked about my order and an associate said another guy took it by accident. They remade our burgers in about ten minutes and gave us extra fries for the mishap. We got home a few minutes later after a long road trip with our three month old and the patties were very rare. I’m down for a medium to medium rare burger once in a while but not from a place that says they cook all their burgers well done. Honestly, it seemed like the team was not happy and we’re not very concerned about getting orders out for their customers. I’m sad about this visit. Love Five Guys otherwise.

2022-07-20Came for the shakes - The place was closed at 6pm on a Thursday. Went to one on Atlanta Road and they dont even serve shakes even though it is on their menu. This chain lost 3 solid customers today.

2022-07-13Seasoned customer. I think this will be our last visit to this chain. Their pricing is officially ridiculous for what one receives. Go to your fave pub for the price theyre charging!

2022-06-19Not with rye price I could have bought two pounds of beef for what this cost fries over salted. Would never go back by choice. And they hit you up for a tip. And sll they do is book the burger.

2022-07-17Placed an order online which said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Got there about 15 minutes later and not ready said they were waiting on fries. Yet when the fries were ready they were filling orders after mine including a woman who just placed her order at the counter. 15 minutes later I finally got my fries. Slow service with staff that doesn’t fill orders in the order they are received.

2019-04-23Burger was ok, I ordered a hamburger with pickles, mushrooms, ketchup, jalapeños but received a cheeseburger. I never return food so I ate half of it. Not very welcoming, but I don’t expect much from teenage/young adults. Too much chit chat. Drink, burger and fries totaled to $17 and some change. I’m not cheap but it wasn’t worth it.

2019-08-26Welp...I went on my lunch break. Ordered a little bacon cheese burger (cheese only) and a little fry. Needless to say, I didn’t check it b/f I left and headed out. Burger was dry, overly cooked and burnt bacon. Never had that happen Five Guys...didn’t enjoy this at all. Maybe it was the cooks that day or maybe this location 🤷🏽♀️, but it was a waste of 10 bucks.

2021-08-19The young brother was being loud and obnoxious I’m annoyed with the customer service!! Talking indirectly. Young brother mad because my fries were a little too crispy.For the record, I’ve never received BURNT 🔥 fries from any other FIVE GUYS but here.The YOUNG, BOLD and IGNORANT. I’m sorry Calvin had to deal with it.
