Five Guys in other cities:
Burger was good. Not great. But good. Cheese was not melted and was cold. Fries were soggy. Five Guys is a slight step up from the fast food options at double the price, but very slight. If one is nearby and you are in a hurry and willing to pay their price its and option. Ten dollars for a 6.6 oz burger. Wow.
Excellent food and Friendly service! I was shocked at the size of their burgers 🍔 and extremely pleased with their fries🍟. The atmosphere at Five Guys was definitely inviting. It was neat to see their help-yourself to peanut-bucket appetizer 🥜. Very Hospitable 👍 Glad that I stopped by to try the Best Burger in Town. 😋 Next time a shake 😁
I like a good burger and this place is my favorite. You cant get any fresher than watching them throw your non frozen patties onto the flat top. It is a little pricey but Ive always believed you get what you pay for. The staff is friendly and they keep the place extremely clean. A great place to relax and enjoy your meal.
I was supposed to have an interview on Tuesday at 5:00. I was still receiving message reminders from their system an hour before the interview time. Once I got there I let them know why I was there, the woman (I assume was the manager) literally yelled at me from behind the counter that all interviews were cancelled because they are no longer hiring.
Five Guys is known for its great burgers and even better fries but this one delivered the standard, great food, within a nice environment that was pleasant and clean. The service was on it and the people very friendly.Recommend the milk shakes and the Cajun fries if youve never been!
Wonderful staff, superb. Clean all around, food was perfect, it was crowded but not in the bad way because the staff was definitely as the saying goes on top of their game. Definitely the best 5 Guys location Ive ever seen & been to & Ive been to quite a few, Columbus is my favorite one now for sure.
Ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms, onions, and mayo - came with tomato and lettuce as well against my order details. Good thing I dont have any tomato allergies. Fries were super soggy. Usually have good experience at Five Guys but this visit left much to be desired. The milkshake was delicious!
I was picking up for online delivery. The place has 2 tables that were already eating. My pickup was still on the grill, super fresh which is awesome. The staff were super friendly. However, the wait time was super long. Why? Because they messed up the order for a veggie not once, but twice. They offered me the mistakes, which was kind of them, but I turned them down.
The workers are very nice and I have been there enough that they know to give me my sauce for my fries without me even asking. They will give you extra Cajun seasoning on their Cajun fries if you ask, which is awesome. If you are left without something you ordered (like on a burger or something else), they easily fix it for you without any issues. I really enjoy my time at this place every time I go. Food is great and cooked quickly when there is not a huge crowd. I definitely recommend this place.
Had a big order delivered from here today. Each burger was labeled with a number so we knew which one was which without having to open them up, we got TONS of delicious fries, and the burgers were AMAZING. Quality cheese, well cooked patties, and fresh ingredients made this the best meal Ive had in a long time. My in store experiences were always great as well as the staff is super friendly and great at what they do.
First time at Five Guys. It was a decent burger. The price was high and I dont quite think it was worth it. If you like a lot of stuff on your burger being able to add everything at no cost helped make up for the $$. However one in our party likes theirs plain and the value simply wasnt there. Overall good burger but not what I expected after all the hype. The fries were good and plentiful. Sweet tea was good. Complimentary peanuts were appreciated. Staff was friendly. Food came out quickly.
Not impressed. We ordered from them yesterday, and probably won’t be back. We had a curbside pick up for 6:30. When we got there we had to call twice for someone to even pick up the phone to let them know we were outside. We did not receive our food until 6:50. Even after calling we had to wait a while for them to bring the food out. The fries were pretty good. The burger was ok but ice cold.
The food is always good. Service is ok for the most part, but they still won’t let you sit and eat. Almost Every restaurant in Columbus Georgia has opened up for dine in. I honestly feel like they’re just be lazy at this point. This will be my last time coming here. Unless they open the dining room.
It was the wife that wanted a burger and fries and we both love 5 Guys. Upon arrival we found that their dining room was not open. They recommended the picnic tables out front. It was over 90 degrees outside. Right around the corner Chilis dining room was open and got my business.
Its not often I leave negative comments. Not a big fan of it. But, I hate to say, I have had a few not so pleasant experiences. I am fan of Five Guys, and normally on a trip out of town its a main choice. But, it was a bad choice this time around. For the price, the burger was room temperature and slightly undercooked, lacked ordered burger toppings and condiments, shy the normal amount of good wholesome fries, peanuts were stale, and the tea was old and sweet. It was needless to say, a heart breaking event. I know for a fact this is not every location, but this one took the cake on what not to do. Hopefully, it was just bad timing on my half.
This Five Guys was a fantastic experience. I did not know that you could order online and have it ready for you for carry out. So I tried that, and it worked out perfectly! The fries were still fresh and everything was good to go when I arrived. I definitely recommend this place.
Clean, well-oiled machine. The customer service is not fantastic, but they get everyone served and the food out in a timely manner. Our orders are always right, and everything is always hot. Yes, they are over-priced, but that is the chain in general and not specific to this location. I feel like youre paying a little more for better quality. McDs or BK this is not.
The jr burger is now over $7 but people really go here for the great fries. What goes with great fries? KETCHUP...and lots of it! Not any more. Now they give out tiny bags with about a teaspoon of KETCHUP. How many people have caught Covid from a container of KETCHUP? The world has gone nuts and Five Guys has gone their own type of nuts by charging too much for a dinky hamburger and cheaping out on the KETCHUP. This was my last visit to them and explains why they are closing some of their stores.
I love a good burger. My burger there yesterday was superb - perfectly sliced tomato (I hate when you get a huge chunk and its like eating a tomato sandwich with meat, or when its too thin and falls apart when eating your burger), lots of pickles, and only the condiments I wanted in perfect amounts. If you want a good burger fast, Five Guys is the place to be.
Service was great, clean dining area and food was great as always. Unfortunately someone walked in the front door straight to the service area and reached to get drink cups. At least two employees watched without anything being said to them. Maybe I would feel differently if staff had said something to the gentleman. This was my favorite burger place, now I will never spend another dime here. Management under stood and refunded my burger ftom the 39.23 party total
Five guys is literally the best place to get an excellent burger! You can get the little burger with one patty or the regular with two. All the toppings are available for no extra charge. The fries are amazing and come in a heaping cup. Snag some ketchup and malted vinegar and let the feasting begin!
Absolutely the best burger I have ever tasted. Everything is cooked to order and condiments are made to order. Also fries are made from fresh cut potatoes; no frozen ingredients, just great taste. We had the small burgers and they were delicious and plenty to eat. You would need a large appetite to tackle one of their large burgers. We did make one mistake though; we ordered a large French fries and the two of us could not eat it all. Next time a small would be enough for the two of us. Great food yall!
I swear I was giving some nasty eyes from the customers. They were either looking at me funny for my coat in the kinda hot weather or something else.if thats the case Im not coming back. But into the review.Loved the burger. Fries were good too. Seems they changed from regular to steak fries. Free refills are nice too as well as the peanuts.
Customer service was alright. Food was okay but definitely overpriced. Next time I want to spend that amount on food Ill go to a sit down restaurant where drinks, sides, an appetizer and your entree run you the same price. I bought 5 burgers without any toppings and 1 small fry (three of those burgers being the little ones) which ran me $45. Not thrilled with the experience and more than likely not returning.
Good place. Burgers are on point! Jared and his staff are friendly and just give off that “you’re family and how can we make your day better?” feeling. I’ve been here for a couple weeks for work and the couple of times I’ve come in I’ve been impressed with the staff’s attitude and service. This seems to be lacking in other nearby eateries.
Definitely the best burger joint in Columbus. Always have to come here at least once a month. The burgers are great quality, filling, and taste great. Even the veggie sandwich with cheese is a hit. And the fries. Yes, the fries are rated Americas most unhealthiest French fry but have you tasted them? Totally worth the splurge on the extra calories. Five Gives is worth the trip. Too lazy to make the trip? Boy have I got news for you. They deliver now.
Food is consistent with other five guys, which we do enjoy occasionally. Its pricey, so we dont come often. 1 little burger, bacon cheese hot dog, one regular fry, and 1 regular soda will be 24 dollars. My husband and I share the soda and fries.Weve been to multiple locations in multiple states and I have to say this location is consistently always a long wait for food and the tables and floors are always a mess, and we are here during not crowded times. The last time we came, we wiped our own table down w wipes as employees watched us. This time we are sitting here waiting. Now numbers are surpassing ours. Also had to clean a table for us to sit. Oh and the AC is obviously broken. Its stifling in here. Our trips to five guys will be less and less if this is the continuing trend.
I wouldve given them 5 stars bc they are that good. They just get swamped sometimes and the order that you call in for pick up might not be ready by the time you get there. But the food is always on point and the one time they took awhile I was awarded with and extra helping of fries.
I eat only my homemade burgers or better yet, the small burger with grilled onions/jalapenos, with a side of freshly cut and fried French fries drizzled with malted vinegar and dunked in ketchup. Always a friendly helpful staff and delicious food consistancy at every location.
When my husband and i came in and got up to the counter to order, we were greeted by a guy named Gavin (at least that’s what it said on my receipt 🤣). from beginning to end, he had amazing customer service and i am very pleased with the experience i was given. the food was incredible as always!
They were fun and down to earth. Very easy to talk to. They dont judge because they cant. You want a salted caramel bacon milkshake? By all means. Theyll probably recommend it. Food was great as always. No gripes at all. I came in at 9:50 but hesitated because they were cleaning. Didnt wanna be that guy that comes in right before close. I called and asked if they were closing and he insisted that I was fine and to just come in. I spent 20 bucks on food for just myself but... Hey I was in the mood.
Five guys has always been one of my favorite places for a burger, however I’ve never been to one where they charge you over $10 for the bacon cheeseburger. I spent $19 on fries, drink (soda) and burger. I would suggest somewhere else for a burger, as I can get a beer, burger and fries downtown for $14 and the burger is comparable!Overpriced and my burger was also well over cooked!
This is one of my 2 favorite eating establishments for burgers and fries. Service, even though self-serve is fast with good follow up. I enjoy the casual atmosphere and can eat shelled peanuts while waiting for my food. I especially enjoy eating the generous portion of fries with ketchup. If too many toppings are taken the burger quickly disintegrates; so I skip the grilled mushrooms and onions.
A long time for my order to be prepared. When I got the order, it was in a bag as if I said I wanted it to go. I didnt order onions but I tasted an onion in my meal. The other persons meal I paid for, had onion taste in hers as well. I can cook that order in less than 5 minutes in my house. Which I will be doing before I recommend anyone to eat at Five Guys.
Drove from Illinois to Georgia to see my kids at Ft. Benning, we have one of these back home.. told the kids Im craving fries because they are phenomenal back home. I ordered some to share and they were weepy and half raw. I was very upset. Ill just wait to go back home to get them☹
I was invited to lunch after church and I hated that my dear friends had to pay for lunch whereas my cheese burger was cold, fries was soggy and not hot and this was during a prime time: 12:30 -1 pm because it was so busy. I could have gotten a better burger for less at Sonic.
Prompt and professional service. The staff is always friendly and Ive never had an issue with missing items with my call in.Not a fan of freestyle machines, which all five guys in our area seem to use, but thats a personal preference. Seems like no matter what you pick, it tastes a little like root beer and a little like diet.
Five guys makes a mean burger! Everyone goes gah-gah over the fries, but I dont find them all that exceptional except the fact that they are REAL and dont taste manufactured. Service is always excellent and their shakes are killer. Customization of your burger and drinks give it high marks for me...but they lose a star on value. No matter how good the food is, the prices are exorbitant. I have a large family and there is no value for me here. As a solo treat, though? Perfect!
A Bacon Burger, a Little Cheese burger, 2 reg fries and 2 reg drinks = $30.28 (tf!)No combo meals. Buy everything separatelyPatties are thinNo seasoning on the beefGreasy breadI thought this was worth it. I dont know how this chain is getting so much positive reviews for regular ass hamburgers. I mean nothing extravagant, nothing out the ordinary. These are NOT gourmet burgers. Why is it so expensive??I cant get over how I just spent $30 for below basic food.Only and last time.Never going back.
5 Guys in Columbus, GA served up excellent tasting, fresh, hot food for myself and some friends on a busy Sunday afternoon. I ordered a Hamburger with grilled onions and grilled mushrooms and small fries. The wait time was reasonable for the crowd that was there as we enjoyed their complementary peanuts. The Coke Freestyle Machines were in good order and had all various flavors stocked.
One of prices burgers, from a fast food establishment. If I am going to splurge and eat a cheeseburger..this is the place. The burger is cooked fresh to order. The fried are home style with the skin and served by the sac ful. We often split the burger and fries, especially when eating in the evening. The employees greet you with a smile.
This place is crazy expensive for what is mediocre food at best. I wish Id gone down the road to Red Robin. It would have cost about the same and tasted way better, plus Red Robin has healthier options. Lesson learned. Im done with Five Guys forever. Its just not that good to be so expensive. I dont understand why people like it so much.
Went with my husband and babies.. Cashier looked high as a kite.. Food was way over priced, especially for the quality of food it was.. Customers service was poor.. Another lady even got into it with the cooks. They forgot to give my daughter her grilled cheese; the cheese was still cold in the middle when she did get it and my husbands burger was falling apart from how greasy it was. Reputation for this restaraunt is no where near justified and I will never go back.
Yes... great food chain..they have a menu that covers most of the horrible comfort foods. Hamburgers, hotdogs, home cut fries. They have an open kitchen so you can watch them cook. Overall most of these are always clean and have a good family friendly environment.Best burgers ever... but take me straight to heartburn city..My favorite five guys is in Panama city Florida. I like to get a hamburger and go eat it on the pier. And throw fries to the seagulls...
Oh my word this has got to be the best place to get the closest thing to a homemade hamburger around here that you could get it comes out thick Patties and the patties are juicyand the hamburgers are just awesome and the french fries they are just like homemade french fries they are absolutely delicious if you get the chance to go by five guys anywhere you need to stop by one
Going to Five Guys is always a treat the food theyre fresh the people theyre friendly even during a pandemic the burgers and fries are still awesome thank you guys for being open thank you For wearing your PPE thank you for all that you guys do to keep us very happy...
Customer service was next to horrible. They forgot a part of my order, grilled cheese and dann I add.... When I got it , the cheese wasnt even melted. The burger I got was soaked with grease and was falling apart as I attempted to eat it. Can I also add it still had the paper attached to it from when they pulled it out of the freezer. So for the price and unavailable ranch , and only kraft cheese. I wont be returning. Thank you , a very disappointed husband and father who ..... Recomended this place for lunch !
Omg $30+ for (2) little bacon cheeseburgers (2) milkshakes and (1) med french fries. I dont even know were to start. 1st meat no taste with some burnt bacon. 2nd fries with cajun HELL no. We ask the difference between reg and cajun, sales person stated season. I was like oh good cajun it is. So when i tasted my fries it looks like they deep fried the oil and cajun together to make my fries. And u dont cook and text at the same time and i see this in most restaurant. The only thing I like was the milkshake but not for $30
I placed an order for delivery to my job and the Door Dash driver sat outside and just texted my phone instead of coming in like everybody else to look for me. So he called me 20 minutes later and told me he had other orders and would come back after. He got here at 7:05 when my food should’ve been here by 6:24. It’s all wet and unappetizing.
The this place even the picky eater in the family loves to eat here they are always frendly and make it a grate family place they do have pnuts out for you to snack on while you wait so if you have some allergic then beware but I would recommend to anyone they also have grate milk shakes

2022-03-262 burgers + 1 order of fries = $36. That didn’t even include drinks. It was my first time eating here and all I can say is look guys (all Five of you)… your food is not amazing. It’s just “good” - at best. But it’s not nearly good enough to justify your exorbitantly high prices. Your food is nothing more than average. So, please… calm down, adjust your prices accordingly, and consider just owning who you are. There’s nothing wrong with average. Just don’t charge as if your food is anything more than that. That math above is absolutely ridiculous for what you get - and you know it.Also, no need to reply to this. I don’t need to hear about your “quality” ingredients, your made-to-order freshness, or how you value this feedback but respectfully disagree and/or assume I had a bad experience. It was fine. Just simply stop acting (charging) like your God’s gift to trendy hipster hamburger culture.

2022-06-08The burgers, fries and hot dogs were alright, but nothing special. The prices are significantly higher than one would reasonably expect for food of such quality. The restaurant was clean and they got the order correct. The soda machines are well stocked. The condiment cups have lids, but they fit poorly. I ended up having to throw them away and use my own ketchup.

2022-06-02I love their burgers! It taste old-fashioned which is great! I also love the sesame seed buns which a lot of fast food places is taking out! But I took a star off for the high prices and the fries are horrible! We spend $30 on 3 burgers and I feel like their fries are always over cooked. They are just not good! So I never order the fries anymore. And I have tried them 3 separate times. Everytime they were near burnt.

2022-05-19It’s expensive is what it all comes down to. I like the fries and hamburger. But the patty is a little thin. It tastes good. But if I wanted a double My kid would have to skip college. If I could get it for half the price I’d go more often. Now I go about once every three months when a kid convinced me to go. Never with the entire family.

2022-04-26It took a while but the burgers were very good. I had this in San Diego many moons ago but it tasted very good here and I will definitely be back. It takes a while to prepare orders but I guess you cant rush good thing, sometimes!

2022-03-10The burgers are hot and juicy with a bit of exterior crisp. The bun is soft, warm and holds up to all the layers added to the burger. The cheese was melted perfectly and the bacon added a savory crunch along with the cool crispness of the lettuce and tomatoe. It comes with enough hot fresh perfectly salted french fries to choke a horse.

2022-07-221 of the best burgers in town, by far, fresh and cooked to order! The fries are awesome too. My family and I love Five Guys!

2022-02-26Best burger in town even compared to local specialty restaurants. Always juicy and perfectly cooked with just the right options for toppings (grilled mushrooms and onions, mmmm). The fries are superb. Crispy and not a one under or over cooked; plenty of them too. The drink machines are the any flavor coke machine. Not cheap but you cant beat the taste for a classic burger and fries. UPDATE excellent as always! Fully staffed and great customer service.

2022-07-04For the prices you pay here you’d expect a gourmet burger but you get a couple patties almost as thin as krystals patties and it looks as if they tossed each topping at the burger instead of just placing it on top. I’d say the burger lacks taste but it’s probably due to the lack of just that burger patty. Now if you want some good homestyle french frys and a bunch of them, this is your place. But this is no longer the burger place.

2022-07-09My family and I have been here multiple times and Five Guys never disappoints. My kids amd me eat the 🥓 🍔 🍟 and drink💧every time. Wife does the bunless (protein style) for her needs. They have the 🥜 for an appetizer as you 🤚🏽for your order. They also se the 🥜 🛢 if you want to cook food the same way. A bit pricey but worth every 💵. The only reason I dont give 5 ✨️ is because everytime I go in there I worry of slipping. 😄
