There’s no way I would use this dealership again. They were quick to take the cash when I purchased a vehicle but they have been very slow about returning money they owe me.I bought a 2021 Jeep Renegade in September 2021. I had planned to finance with my bank and even had the check with me to make the purchase, but they were able to get a better rate going through the dealership. During the purchase I added on an extended warranty and of course GAP. Well, November 03, 2021 & December 23, 2021 I had deer run into the side of the vehicle with the last one totaling the car (finally finalized in February with insurance). Called Five Star the beginning of February and told them I needed to cancel the GAP and Extended Warranty and they informed me I have to make the 80 mile (160 mile round trip) trip to sign paperwork. I made the drive and signed the paperwork and was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks to get the check in the mail. Well, we’re pass all that. They won’t return my phone calls and every time I call I get passed around and put on hold. Never again will I buy a vehicle from Five Star Automotive Group.
First time getting my Palisade Serviced:I HIGHLY recommend Five Star Hyundai (a subsidiary of five star dodge) not only for the excellent service to my vehicle but also for the kind and caring customer service provided by its staff.Specifically, i would like to leave my high regards for their driver, Brian Goldberg (The Gentleman who shuttles individuals back and forth from work whilst their cars are being serviced).With regards to his job: he was punctual (got me to work early which was something i was really worried about when i first heard about this whole shuttle business), he drove well, and it was obvious that he knew the city well and didnt require directions from humans or google.Concerning his customer service, he was a pleasure to converse with his presence made the actual trip from 5star to my workplace a positive experience rather than a nerve-wracking one.
If I could make this review short I would, but here goes! Originally I brought in my Dodge Charger for diagnosis and repairs. Diagnosis couldnt find the problem. Thats $184.00 spent and still not knowing the cause of my cars mechanical problem. So I get a call from the dealership saying they can do a further diagnosis for $400.00 plus more dollars and that would find the issue. My question is: why you cant find it with this diagnosis? Of course I declined and brought my car home. So I found out that my Charger had several recalls, so decided to take it back to this dealership for those recalls. Now my car has been with this dealership for over 2 weeks for recall repairs, so I go by on today.... July 12, 2022 to check the status of recalls. A intercom call was made to the service person who took my car In when I brought it back that they had a customer to see them about the car issue so,,,,, and Im waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting....5-10-15 going on 20 minutes, still no one has come out to see me about my car. So I left. With all that being said, this service department dealership is theeeeeee worst worst of the worst when it comes to customer satisfaction. Never again will I deal with this particular location again. If they do the recalls ....oh well.....if they remedy my car issues....maybe, but not likely... If they dont...its as expected...Im like this dealership is definitely not a go to source for major repairs.... This dealership is a definite 5 thumbs down 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 for me...!!!!!

It has been 26 days nothing has been serviced on my vehicle. April which was my advisor said she was waiting on my warranty company which I went up there myself and got the information for her so that means for the first 2 weeks it was there nothing was getting done to my vehicle. Plus no call for an update or the progress on my vehicle which is ridiculous. My car has been there for way too many days and still pay bills and renting out rentals which is stressful because they aren’t giving out Loaner cars. I called and talked to Jane which is another advisor and she had made me feel a little better & ordered the parts that I needed. Hopefully my car would be ready the end of this week. Very frustrating.
My daughter and I bought a car from here less than a month ago, and had the greatest help from Janae Taylor and Timothy Hollis. If you are looking to buy a vehicle for yourself I highly recommend asking for Janae!!! She was the absolute best and we couldnt thank her enough for everything she did for us.
Im not very happy with there service right now because my husband and my credit both were ran. I have text messages of the sell, the car payment and the pickup date not on just one vehicle but on two different vehicles, 3 days apart from one another. Only to be told they both had been sold after they both were to be placed on hold until the signing paperwork was completed and the vehicle was cleaned up so I could go down and sign and bring home. My trade in has been cleaned out since Wednesday. I finally told the guy just dont worry about because I get my heart set on the vehicle only to be told twice that I cant get either because they both had been sold. Thats really messed up and bad business.
April in the service Department is awesome!I came in to schedule a parts service recall and she took the time to make sure that my service appt. would go very smoothly, while demonstrating exceptional customer service skills. I purchased a 2017 Toyota Tacoma from here and I cant express enough how satisfied I am with my experience. I called to make an appointment to come in and spoke with Hannah; my salesman was Jason Jones. In the ad posted online, there were pictures posted of the passenger side but not the driver side. Once getting there, I noticed there were a few good sized dents in the bottom of the driver door. Jason informed me that after the purchase all repairs to the door would be taken care of by them and they would provide me with a loaner car to drive while the repairs were being done! Amazing service! Jason was such a pleasure to work with and answered all of my questions. The body work done to repair the dents were so well done that you cant tell there were ever any dents at all! I am very satisfied with my purchase and the professionalism from Jason and the crew that took care of me and my truck.
Devin and Ryan were amazing, they got me into my new RAM 1500 Limited with ease and got me a lower payment than I expected. Devin even helped me move my stuff from my old truck to my new one. I definitely recommend this dealership! However their service department sucks. I took the same RAM 1500 Limited in to get a sensor module fixed and was told it wojld only take 45-60 minutes and I waited for almost 5 hours.
Our experience at Five Star of Macon was wonderful! Antonio Davis was our salesman and he was excellent. He wasnt pushy, he gave us plenty of time to make a decision, he was very knowledgeable regarding all the vehicles and he worked hard to ensure that we were getting the best deal. The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a car that my mother has always wanted and Antonio made that possible. Mr. Antonio, Devin and Bret really made us feel like family. And for that we are forever grateful and appreciative!
Amazing service and great people. AK was my cars salesman and he was GREAT, I had him pulling out many of cars and test drive them with me all day long just to tell him I no longer want a car. And even after getting on his nerves and wasting his time. Two days later he txt me with a brand new car, great approval rate and everything I was looking for. I will def be working with him and this dealer again for all future purchases. I love my fully equipped, fully loaded 2021 Mazda 6 !

What a wonderful experience at this dealership from start to finish! We loved Steve Askew and Joe Henderson (Steve even came in on his day off). Have had my dodge for warranty service. Service department and manager will not return calls. Service lady told me waiting on my warranty to approve Service. Called warranty department. Was told Five star hasnt filled a claim. So then tried calling to speak with Service manager left messages. Still no call. Will never use this company again. Woody Folsom is the best will have to drive hours away before I ever use this dodge dealer again. This place sucks and will not return calls. Went by and truck is sitting in same place I parked it.
Brian Goldberg was a wonderful shuttle person , started a great conversation and wasn’t only here to give me a ride back to my home but I made a wonderful friend to talk to during my time in the shuttle, he also provide valuable information about the service on my vehicle that was getting services and also kept a very respectful hospitality environment. Had my truck towed there for ignition switch replacement. Met April Hester who was very nice and friendly. Got the truck in and still waiting for the part to come in. Theyre doing their best. April called me with an update and the part is in. Expect my truck today. If its the switch.
After finding my vehicle on a 3rd Party site, I contacted the dealership to discuss purchase options. Sales person Curtis Weaver answered all my questions, and helped me settle on a purchase price I was happy with. When I showed up at the dealership the car was ready, and the time it took to complete financing paperwork was minimal. Rohan, the finance guy was awesome, and he answered all my questions to satisfaction. My overall experience was one of the most pleasant Ive had buying a vehicle. Showroom, and lot were well kept and clean. Would highly recommend this dealership.

From my first interaction until my Jeep was returned every interaction with the staff at FiveStar was just that…. 5 stars. My amazing service writer, Jane, met every single challenge my Jeep (purchased from another local dealer) had with a smile and a rapid efficient solution. Then James, who is upper management in service Dept got involved to ensure his dealership excelled not only in fixing the “other guy’s” blatant undisclosed problems but guided me through how to maximize my warranties abd coverages and minimize my out of pocket expenses. The man even filled in for an ill employee and personally ensured the car was returned to my home ahead of schedule since I’m a single mom with one car. Treated like I was the only customer or family from the start and as a result I will be a Five Star customer for life. Thanks Five Star!!!!

Update as of 2020:March 2020 I brought my vehicle for a standardOil change to Macon from Atl. Upon my return home I noticed a burning smell- the service tech left the top off and oil spilled over my engine. The previous service manager had to drive to ATL toresolve the issue.June 2020 I brought my vehicle for another standard oil change requesting they use full synthetic oil and a dealers coupon I presented. I was told they could honor my request. After completion of service I was made aware they only used standard synthetic oil and my coupon wasn’t honored. I also came to notice an oil stain on my driver door panel due to the service technicians lack of attention and now my interior is stained.I’m not sure what was changed in 2 years but as a 5 year customer I am very disappointed. I travel for quality service and these last 2 encounters make me regret driving 60+ miles for work.
There is nothing against the law in making a profit. But this particular SRT was just overpriced. Of course I wanted to still see if I could make a deal. It was on CARGURU and at the dealership for more than 30 days and only one price drop. I spoke to Mr. Whitehead to try and workout something. Mr. Whitehead was very arrogant by being condescending in is view of me as SRT customer. Unprofessional be being on the phone with another customer, discussing business personal to them in front of me, and having me to wait as if my time is not important to me, especially after driving 2 hours to get there. This is nothing new to him I texted him the same thing on his phone with NO RESPONSE. Like I said UNPROFESSIONAL. After I mentioned CARGURU it was removed from that site by the next day. LOLI understand its a business but I DO NOT wish to be ripped off.
I purchased a Dodge Charger from here back in December of 2020. Service was great then and I still receive the best service now. When I take the car for oil changes and to be serviced. I went in for a loss of power due to a loose EGR pipe and came out with a misfiring engine(engine light has never been on for anything major since I had the car). I always take my car to a dodge dealership for major maintenance but never this one again. Paid around $1200 and got a misfiring engine for their service.
Make sure you come see Mr. Juvon. He help my mom find the truck that she was look for over the internet and by phone, after taking a 2 hour drive, when we got there he had everything ready to go. Starting with going over all of the details that they had discussed to ensure that he got everything right to the test drive and and break down of all the charges. He was excellent, very patient, understanding, and very easy to work with.
Went to Five Star with the intent of test driving a Ram. Meet Loyldell at the door and thought to myself this is going to be fun. I like dealing on cars. Its fun doing the back and forth. I go late in the day so the dealer will not have time to close a deal. I did have fun but not like Im used to. Loyldell was very accommodating and worked to put a deal together that worked for me. No pushing, just a great deal on the truck that I could not walk away from. Throw in a great rate on the loan and it was a done deal. They close at 8pm, we left at 9:30pm. On a Saturday evening. I have so many amazing things to say about this dealership. I wanted a specific ram from the lot and Im from out of town. Kyle Horton reached me immediately to set everything up. After that, Justin Ghee worked countless hours even staying 3 hours after close time to help me get the truck since I came to the dealership late. I buy lots of vehicles and this is by FAR the best service I have ever had. They even sent me a personalized video of my vehicle showing all the features days before purchase. My visit to Five Star On Friday, May 7, 2021 was due to a roadside assistance matter with a flat tire. I was met by the service department associate Rudy Holm who handled all of my information, coordinated the repair with the garage team and kept me thoroughly updated throughout the entire process. Although a surprise visit due to the flat, the repairs were completed quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Five Star’s service department for your automotive needs. I have had experience with both the service department and sales team on multiple occasions and gladly give Five Star a full five stars!
High -pressure sales department who will say whatever is needed to sell a car. Service department is poor and doesnt return calls. The last place to buy a car or to have it serviced. I need to clarify this review. This review is for the 5 Star location in WARNER ROBBINS, NOT the Macon location!!! The Macon location is exactly the opposite. I didnt realize my mistake until moments ago. I will NEVER go to the WARNER ROBBINS location again and warn others against it. The 2 salesmen I dealt with I referred to as Dumb and Dumber. The Finance manager was a jerk and after copying the necessary financial information simply threw it in the trash. A customers privacy should be treated much better.** updated post!This post is for the MACON LOCATION:I had the best sales person youd ever want to deal with! You want to ask for Janae , she handled everything I put her through (my test drive). All there is to say is wow!! My husband and I were searching for a dodge durango for about 3 weeks and went through some frustrating deals previously. WE were ready to give up, but I looked again and found FIVE STAR in Macon as they had one we were interested in. From the first time I spoke to the GM Matt and Salesman Claude I was kept abreast every step of the way. He even sent me videos of the truck. He always called me to let me know what was happening and made sure we got a great deal. Our payment was even lower than we expected and thats WITH a warranty on a used vehicle. We were very blessed to have been working with Claude! He made it very easy and we also traveled to get it which they made a pleasant experience for us. My kids are so happy and we are too. I highly recommend working with Claude at FIVE STAR if youre looking for a vehicle! They really deserve to use that name! Thanks Claude and GM Matt for everything you did to help us!
The repairs they did were pretty good, however it was not what I requested. I asked for and paid for a full diagnostic and they only got me a new radiator and flushed and repaired the coolant hoses. There are still two lights illuminated on my dash. Those lights are the abs and traction control. They did only a portion of what I asked for and paid for, and ignored other issues. I also asked for email of the services the they were going to perform and never got one. I asked for this so I could look at it before authorizing. Never got it. $2,700 later, and I still cannot drive my car. The work they did do is good,, but not completed.. Not happy.
I tried to do the mobile check in. It would not work. I parked in the mobile check in areas. Went to the door. It was still locked as it was 7:30 right when they opened for the day. The whole staff was very unprofessional and very much seemed like they were there for a paycheck and was working by force. Not the atmosphere I am accustomed to at Delta Airlines, Hilton Hotels, or Chick-fil-A. When I picked up my car I had to go find someone in the building and it seemed like all was to busy engaged in personal conversations with their co-workers and was bothered when I had to clear my throat to get their attention.No talking to me of what they did with the recall of my airbags. No mentioning to me if they checked my car for any issues or anything. Just a I will get your car for you
Honestly this was the easiest and smoothest car purchase that I’ve ever done, and everything was accomplished over the phone. Jason Jones was extremely helpful in getting a good price on both the new vehicle and my trade in and also made all arrangements for delivery. The car arrived exactly as described and I am overall very happy with the purchase and process.
I have purchased my vehicle from Five Star and I have my vehicle serviced there when needed. Had nothing but a great experience . Except one time however the way Five Star value me as a customer they did everything to fix the issue and continued to treat me with the most respect. If it was 10 stars I would give it to them.

The service managers did not make sure the work was completed properly causing other problems with my vehicle. When the mechanic offered a free service in compensation for the time and trouble they caused the service manage did not write it on the service receipt even after I reminded her and requested for it to be documented so there would be a record of the conversation. They appear to be far more worried about reviews then correctly completing the services you pay for.
Matt is the best! Jason was amazing as well. Experience here was outstanding. They were very helpful. We did everything over the phone, until it was time to sign and drive. But whoever answers the phone there is TERRIBLE. Couldn’t understand her at all and she ended up hanging up on me. She just seemed very confused and uncomfortable. Don’t let her turn you away though. Just ask for Matt or Jason. They are wonderful

I have a Dodge Challenger 2019 RT manual.... I love this car! When my manual needed to be replaced and parts came in slowly due to the pandemic... Derek, Justin, KC and the GM James over the service department stepped in and handled it. They have all gone above and beyond. I want to tell you as a woman going to the dealership can be frightening.... they made me feel like I was a part of the family and explained every step of the way! You are and will always be in good hands with these guys! I’ll be back for sure!
Went to this dealership for a recall part for my car. When I got it back my A/C would not work at all. Took it back to the dealership to get it checked out. Got a email from them saying they could fix it, but it will cost $800 to fix it. So I took my car to another shop to get it checked out and find out what is the issue. They said it was a switch that was put on upside down. Long story short, simple fix, it cost $120 to fix. Thank you five star dodge for trying to get one over me. People watch yourselves!!!

My salesperson, Josie Gorden, was a complete pleasure to deal with. Any concerns I had were quickly addressed. Victoria Appling at Five Star was awesome! I told her exactly what I wanted and my budget. She definitely delivered! Curtis was a pleasure to deal with when purchasing our new Ram Truck. He was very responsive and made the out of state buying process easy. We were in and out of the dealership within an hour or so and back on the road home. Would recommend dealing with him and 5 star to anyone we know.
I just want to say that the service I received today from parts was exceptional. I had called with questions about my bumper and some other parts for my vehicle and Mr. Justin was so helpful and was able to let me know and understand everything I needed to know. He was very polite and such a gentleman, thank you! 10 out of 10 service would recommend :)
Be wary of their lifetime warranty. they do not honor it. My wife and I bought a brand new 2016 dodge journey crossroads from them. This car has a little less than 100,000 miles on it. Maintenance has been kept up on this vehicle. We have the oil changed every 5,000 miles and replace the air filter as needed. About 3 weeks ago the car developed a loud tick which I can only assume is cam and lifters and rocker arms. They wont honor the warranty. they say that we dont have adequate records of maintenance. The first 2 years of maintenance was done almost exclusively at five star. They gave us 2 years of maintenance with the car. And all maintenance has been kept up on this car. The truth is even if the oil had never been changed the lifters should not go bad before 100,000 miles it should be covered regardless. It is going to cost over 3k to fix a car that should be under their lifetime warranty. I will never buy another car from them again or give them any of my business. Their so called free lifetime warranty is a scam. They have had this car since last saturday and today is friday. they are just now telling us the car is not covered after waiting a week. If they offered to fix it at a lower cost or meet us in the middle somewhere, perhaps we would be satisfied. This is not the way to do business.
I recently went to 5star dodge in Macon Georgia looking for a bigger vehicle for my family. When the representative Madison came out very shortly to assist. Although, nothing was purchased she render spectacular service and worked her hardest to see that I got all and every piece of information needed, she was well informed, polite and patient upon shopping around, especially since I carried a 6month baby around you with me who’d just received shots. When my husband are ready to choose the best deal for us we’re definitely looking to make that deal with Madison at 5 star Macon Ga.
Took my car in for service at Five star Hyundai Macon they really have it together over here very organized and nice. Robert is always awesome. The shuttle driver Travis was very friendly and got me back safely and quickly. I felt very safe and comfortable with him and he made sure I didn’t forget anything in the shuttle or in my car that I may need before we left.
If you love the new Rams as much as my wife and I do, you need to see sales professional Aurico Wilson! He provided exceptional service with no pressure. My wife and I will be going back to him with our future purchases. We enjoyed his company so much we even named our truck after him! I have also had service interactions with several employees in the service department, Derrick and Casey. They won’t steer you wrong !

Justin Gee is the best salesman hands down. In the little time i was there, with the help of his awesome GM, they got me approved for an awesome 2020 Challenger. I was in no condition to negotiate or get a better price anywhere else. They coached me and told me what I needed to do and made it happen for me. Those two guys are heaven sent and I recommend 5 star and Justin Gee to the next person.

I had an overall good experience with the personnel. Darius Johnson was the sales professional I dealt with he has a great attitude and is very down to earth. This young man will go far in life he keeps a positive outlook and is very attentive. I was however disappointed in the fact that after the vehicle I originally came to the dealership to view had some issues that the “21 point inspection” didn’t catch but was very obvious, the General Manager tried to get me into a truck double that cost and was also very much over priced. I will not return but I wish I could have made a purchase because of the professionalism of Darius alone!

I came into your facility and stood around for a few minutes and Sharla Kuhn came over and asked if she could help me. It was a fortunate moment for me when she did, I was looking for a used pickup at the time. Sharla found two that would suit my needs and she was the only sales person that I dealt with while visiting five dealerships that listened when I told her my need. My need changed when I was advised by a medical worker to not get a truck as it required climbing into and out of the bed from time to time to obtain what I needed and at my advanced age those trips just multiplied my chances of severe injury. I switched to an SUV as I have a utility trailer that I can use to haul larger items when the need arises. Sharla found two of those and I bought one that is powerful enough to transport my trailer.My previous automobile sales people are not around anymore and I stick with one when I find a good one. My wife and I decided to buy another Jeep Cherokee recently. We found one in Macon and one about 30 minutes away. The cars were basically identical so price at first was our only concern.Trinity was very personable and helpful. She kept in touch via texts until we could drive from Savannah to see the Cherokee. My second purchase experience was nothing like my first experience. Having an issue getting the tag for my vehicle called the dealership three times. Bernadette was very rude to me and transferred me to a whole different dealership. They pretty much let me know they could care less the goal of getting me back to purchase another was there only concern. Not even a follow up from the salesman about the tag. Lesson learned they definitely do not treat a recurring customer as a family only as a way to get more money from you
Claude Olluette was our sales agent. We drove 4 hours to that dealership because they had the best prices in the south and it was totally worth it! Claude was very knowledgeable and transparent. He made the purchase fast easy and enjoyable. The finance department also was informative and organized. I definitely recommend you go see Claude at Five Star!
My vehicle was in need of some professional attention so I brought it in for a diagnostic. The wait was a bit long due to the amount of customers ahead of me but the waiting area was rather comfortable. After a time, Kasey came and got me to reveal the technicians diagnosis. He was very friendly and explained the findings with confidence and clarity. He was patient and answered all of the questions I presented to him. I purchased a 2014 Chrysler 300. 5 Star was very accommodating with financing and the service department responded well to concerns regarding the vehicle. They were very courteous, but was slow on call backs and would give me the run around before connecting me with the right person.

2022-07-15I thoroughly enjoyed the car purchasing process at Five Star Macon. I had been eyeing a few cars for a while, but wasn’t quite ready. Dorothy Lamar was my sales rep. She is a great. I’m probably just going to stop by just to say hi, from time to time. Ms. Dorothy worked out a finance option, handled our trade and made sure we were good to go. Their lifetime powertrain and not trying to tack on a whole bunch of extra fees, helped us close the deal. Stop by in your in the market for a vehicle or looking for a great price on your trade (dodge, jeep, ram or Mazda).

2022-05-17Thank you Devin (my dealer) and Timothy (sales manager) for making my first time car buying experience great! I flew all the way to Memphis just pick up my ‘22 Jeep Compass. Once we got there we hit a little snag but Devin reassured me that everything was going to be ok and that I was going to drive back home with my baby. Timothy also made different ways that was possible for me to leave with my Jeep off the lot. Anybody who is searching for a dealer I highly recommend Devin!

2022-01-12The service department here is exceptional.I’m very particular about my performance cars and who is ever allowed to touch them. Anthony and Derrick at service changed my whole view on dealer service departments with their outstanding help and adjustment for my situations. A situation came up where I had my ScatPack lowered and I was looking for an alignment to be completed on it. I went to them and after trying and working with it multiple times they finally determined I can’t slide onto the rack. Normally a dealer service department or really anywhere would just say “you’re going to have to look for somewhere else” they didn’t just do that or leave me out to dry. They put their heads together and remembered other shops that might be able to do it. One was five star Warner Robins and they didn’t just send me there, they gave contact, they verified for me, and they set it up. Got aligned and all in spec on my scatpack and couldn’t be happier. They went above and beyond and I will continue to go there for warranty all the way to general maintenance. They didn’t just create a long standing customer and whatever my customer base is but they also gained my trust. Thank you guys again for everything.

2021-11-21Tyrese, the salesman was honest, courteous and knowledgeable. Brad Campbell, the Inventory Manager is one of the most pleasant people I have dealt with in years. Even the financing experience was better than it normally is. They were quick and courteous and secured us a great finance rate. We found the vehicle we wanted and they had it delivered for pickup faster than their original estimate. Negotiating price was a smooth and efficient process. I have had bad experiences at other dealerships when it comes to negotiating price so thank you FSCDJR of Macon! Antonio, Matt and Brad were a joy to work with.

2022-03-01I was looking to trade in my 2021 Toyota Tacoma for a Dodge Charger. Salesman Rodney did an awesome job making that happen. He was very informative and honest with me, he even went so far to finding rebates to help out with the price. Rodney kept me updated with everything, and I was able to leave with a new 2021 Dodge Charger. I absolutely enjoyed my experience at this dealership, and I would definitely buy my next vehicle from here. I highly recommend giving them a chance to find the vehicle you want.
