I love this store and all the items they sell, I just think its wrong for all that stuff to be given to them and they wanna charge so much for it. That stuff is donated to try to help ppl not make them.go broke trying to buy it they have prices sometimes up to $200 or more
This place is great if youre moving into a fixer upper on a budget. They have various tools and appliance for purchase at a fair price. There are plenty of different household items like light fixtures and drawers that need a little tlc but still have great use left in them. An awesome place to explore before visiting home Depot or Lowes.
The staff was nice enough, hence the 2 stars. Most things worth purchasing were waaaaay over-priced; with the asking price being a very small percentage less than retail. Were the things being sold not donated to the store? Wouldnt that make every item sold a pure profit? I understand the purpose of the store is to generate funds to help build homes, but it would be helpful if the merchandise were priced to actually sell.🤷♀️
If you havent stopped by here, or maybe you just enjoy browsing odds and ends items, then the Habitat for Humanity ReStore is where you need to go! They have a ton of stuff there for sale, all for cheap prices- plus, they regularly have deals going on, so its a win win situation! The employees are very nice and treat you like family! Love it!
I like going to thrift and Habitat stores; however, this one has greatly over priced used furniture. I saw one item that had not been cleaned 😳 chipped paint and mice droppings for $700. Another item was marked for $2000.00 an entry table/dresser. SMHUnacceptable!I shop in many areas and remember why I drive to other states to get better prices and items.
I havent been in the Restore in a very long time and I was greeted with a surprise as I visited. They offered some wonderful household items, furniture, rugs, lights, baseboards, paint brushes, golf clubs and the list goes on and on.While most items were gently used they also offer quite a few items that were new. The Restore location has allowed them to display the merchandise in a better space. Masks were optional.
I go every now and then just to look thru the used books. I think they tend to price most of the used and vintage furniture too high but thats just my opinion. The store is a bit cluttered but they do keep it clean and organized as much as they can. Most of the employees are friendly and pleasant.
I wish I could give these guys more than just 5 Stars they were definitely top notch. After calling people for four days trying to get rid of the stuff that I need to donate all these nonprofits just either wouldnt call me back or just werent interested habitat was so gracious and kind and very thankful that I was able to bring my merchandise to them thank you have you guys are really spot-on.
There was a lot of neat things there. I even found a DVD for my mom that was brand new. They let us come in 5 minutes early and I thought that was really awesome. There were two employees out front working but the one who checked us out was very unfriendly. Maybe shes just not a morning person. I still recommend them.
I fell in love with this store. Ive gotten all kinds of really great finds in this store. Got some trim, my husband made me some of the coolest shelves for pictures . Got the trim for the shelves for what one piece would cost at Lowes. They test an check each piece thats comes in to see that its not broken. Different items every time I shop. Avon collectables, dishes , pot an pan , blenders, washer an driers. Sofas , beds an dressers. If u like bargains? U will love this store too.
While visiting my daughter, we stopped in several times! Found enough baskets to decorate my daughters sunroom plus enough to share with my other daughter! We also found an old teachers school desk! It was a perfect fit in my daughters sunroom to display her plants!A huge Shout-Out yo the wonderful employees that were so kind & also to Sam & his crew for making the delivery!Thank you all for being so kind!~Leigh~
Albany Habitat has a wide selection of a number of different things. Everything from interior furniture, home appliances, rugs and other decorative items to TVs, audio equipment, books and CDs. Ive got quite a few solid deals from here on things that wouldve otherwise been considerably more expensive. Overall, a good place for the thrifty shopper. In addition to the selection, the employees are always friendly and willing to assist with loading if needed.
This is a great lil store to get inexpensive used items you wouldnt either go out & buy new cuz you dont use it that much or just to get a bargain cuz your a penny pincher like myself. The staff are extremely polite and helpful unlike their main & like competitor in town . You can find all kinds of great things here ur just fun to look around. Great bargains & great staff.
This is one of the larger Restores I have shopped. They have a few shelves of household items in the front, and furniture. Rotating stock of living room sets, bed sets, single furniture pieces and accessories. Theres also paint, new painting supplies, and some hardware. In the back room they have building supplies, doors, sinks, appliances, trim, shelves, chairs, and windows. Prices are fair for used items and a good deal for the new building materials, and the proceeds go to a great organization. Staff is very helpful, friendly, and available to answer questions and help load your purchases.
I went to Habitat for Humanity to buy new carpet for my whole house. I asked for help several times from the man in “charge” of the carpet section not only was he extremely rude, he cut ALL my carpet into the WRONG size. I will most definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

2021-08-23Some items were pretty expensive for a thrift but I know its for a good cause. Overall they have a lot of furniture and supplies for school as well as paint. In the back they have doors and hardware.

2022-04-26Everyone there is great! Downside, the prices on things are way to high! They are trying to sell used donated items at retail prices. Yes much of the money goes to a good cause, but there is no need to price things so high. Other than that the store is clean and pretty well organized.

2022-03-29This is a treasure hunters paradise. I love to find old books, mirrors, and furniture. I also send my own things over when I can no longer use them. Great for bringing in the new-old and getting rid of the tired-of. The more you go, the better your finds!

2022-03-28Always a good selection of new and used items. But, unfortunately REAL PRICEY! I can understand higher prices on the new merchandise (leftovers, discontinued, and returns, etc;) that they purchase from a variety of big box stores/auctions. But, from all the used merchandise thats donated, you would think that they would offer better pricing for their clientele in this type of business. Especially in this inflated climate, with so many people hurting financially.

2022-06-03This place has really good stuff but sometimes their prices is even higher than brand new at the stores. I know, I know! its for a good cause, but youre taking from someone to give it to someone else.

2022-02-28Im a major Thrifter, so going to local & abroad stores makes me happy! Since we purchased our home 2 yrs ago and did a major renovation project, I tend to frequent this store because they carry a wide variety of useful things for my home. Over time, Ive been able to find so much like, paint, furniture, light fixtures, etc. I recommend visiting your local Rehab/Habitat!!
