Great food, no frills! Have you ever heard of FRIED ribs...? Neither have we and its on their menu! My first thought was, they had left over ribs and tried to recreate them...🤪 but the batter was good and the rib was tender! Four huge pieces came in the basket. I could only eat one...and as matter of fact, it filled me that I couldnt eat my dinner... We stopped in for a quick bite, which this place is cool for. The wings were cooked too hard for my preference, but my husband got the sliders with three different meats and they were great. And everyones mac and cheese isnt really good, but theirs was... So great experience. Put on some jeans, flip flops, and head on down!
Beef brisket is to die for! All the portions are more than ample. Only negatives are limited sides. Would love to see seasonal fruit like watermelon on the menu. Sweet potato fries and mac and cheese are family favorites. Each month, theres a new special to try. Check Groupon for good deals at this restaurant. Highly recommend.
The meat was extremely tender and juicy at a reasonable price. Service was fast and friendly all in a casual atmosphere. The sauce was not bad but certainly not the best. I like a sweet and tangy option and that was not offered. That being said, I still ate every last drop. 😋
BBQ Nuf said. !!Read the signs, Shortage = higher prices, not reflected on menu but on receipt!! Staff help resolve an issue, kindly.Pretty empty on a weekday. Nice waitresses. Medium portions. Bit of heat to the suaces, be a man. Winner of the the Mac and cheese award 2021. 🧀
Ive eaten here twice and havent had a bad item yet. The brisket tacos are awesome!!! Im not sure what seasoning they put on their fries but theyre very very good. My only negative comment is they tend to run out of items so you better get there early. Its definitely worth the trip.
I had the three meat plate. The potato salad was a real home run. Service was good. 3 people for a full restaurant was inadequate. Nice girls though doing their best. The meat however, not so much. All three were a little dry. There were small hard parts that were inedible on all three. They were also served luke-warm. The bark on the brisket was excellent. The worst though was afterward when I had to pull over unexpectedly run in and use the bathroom. It was gross. So something was unsanitary. So it was a good sized ok meal for 30$.
Just ordered online, here.Above all else, their spicy bbq sauce was amazing. I wouldnt list it as a mouth burner, but its a delicious and complex flavor with an enjoyable kick. Couldnt recommend it enough even for those who might shy away from the spicy side of life. The entire order was correct and they even called me to inform me of and accommodate an out-of-stock item (the brisket) which I hope to try next time! All the food was fresh and flavorful, as a smoked meat and southern bbq should be. Cant wait to pay them and in-house visit.
The brisket was flavorful, juicy, and tender. Their sweet potato fries was a decadent blend of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ribs were seasoned perfectly and slid right off the bone but slightly dry and hard at the ends. The food is a solid 4 stars. My only qualm was that the portions were a bit scanty. As for the service, WOW! Our server was so very polite and accommodating! I will definitely be visiting again.
Sorry but this is not good bbq. If you like GOOD bbq don’t go here. My food was lukewarm when I first received it. They graciously made another plate that was properly heated. But the food didn’t have any flavor. Good service but average food. People seemed to like it but I really wanted my money back and really don’t even know what to do with the leftovers because I literally didn’t eat my food. :-/ I’m still hungry lol I should have just gotten a burger
As we ordered, the cook rubbed his neck and hair with his food service gloved hand. Yuck. The nice lady taking our order asked him wash his hands and reglove. Then the grill cook did the same thing. Yuck. Not sure how the food tasted, but I would suspect something like neck sweat and hair.
Great spot for BBQ. The pulled pork is arguably the best I’ve had in a long time. The brisket is a bit dry and too lean and thin sliced to hold in any juices. The Ribs were good but lacked any bark. The pulled pork alone is enough to warrant a visit! I’ll definitely be back for that. Their sauces are pretty good. The original is the best. The spicy sauce tastes like its spice comes from black pepper instead of a red pepper sauce. The vinegar sauce tastes like straight vinegar without any seasoning. The red beans and rice were great and seasoned well with just the right kick. This place is a must try if you are a BBQ lover.
Went to try the June special mac & cheese. Did a walk in to place a take out. I dont like to order delivery online and use my credit card. I was completely ignored by the girl at the take out order register for about 15 or more minutes. She was boxing up another take out order, but she didnt even acknowledge me except for looking at me a few times, bending down to tie her shoes and walk past me to speak to other folks. When I finally asked if I was in the right spot to order take out she rolled her eyes and said yes, when we get a minute I left and wont be back. Dont care how good people say their food is if you treat your customers like that.
The food was excellent! The red beans and rice was delicious. The collards were perfect and I loved the spice. The beef , brisket and ribs was super tender and I just loved it. The staff was amazing and the atmosphere was beautiful. Thank you Stacy and Christi for such a great experience. I will defiantly be coming back soon.
The atmosphere was cool. You can sit outside. I got the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese ,baked beans and a side of brunswick stew. The meat had good flavor even without sauce ,it was a little dry though. The Mac and cheese was good but you saw the separeted grease . The beans were ok. The stew was pretty good. My husband got the half rack of ribs. He said the flavor was good.
It comes well laid out. The fries were warm and tasty. The pork was very bland. The only flavorful pieces I found had the rub distilled on them. Stew wasnt the best. I found it weird that the toast was only toasted on 1 side. It was crunchy on that side. But again, tasteless. Nice place though.
Fried pickles were crunchy and the sauce was nice and tangy. The brisket was perfectly cooked, a little lacking on flavor but their Original Sauce more than made up for it. The collards were perfectly seasoned and had a little kick to them. The potato salad had the perfect combination of flavor and texture. The sweet tea was on point. The service was excellent.
Glad to see Foggy Bottom BBQ has come to the Square In Lawrenceville. As long time customers of the Loganville location we are happy to see this addition. The tea is sweet, the service is great and the location is awesome with their front porch. As expected our meals were awesome. The brisket was a perfect mixture of lean and fatty. They provide 3 sizable slices that hit the spot. The Baked Beans and Mac & Cheese are very much on spot. The Mac & Cheese is very smooth and very cheesy. All and all I really believe Foggy Bottom is a top shelf BBQ spot that you should be tried.
Amazing BBQ!! The brisket is so tender its hard to pick up with your fork because it desolves at first touch. Same with the ribs, the meat just comes off the bone without even a slight pull. Get the sweet potato fries as a side! Decent prices too and great service/hospitality. Overall one of my top choices for BBQ in the area.
We were thinking about good BBQ for dinner but wanted something other than what is available and I noticed this place passing through town the other day.The service was great Safya(?) was very attentive. The draft selection left me questioning so she brought a small sampling flight answer my question. The potato skins are excellent, dont miss them. My wife had the burger which she said was really great ,I tried the pulled pork plate with collared greens and the best baked beans I have ever eaten. Great place for Q cant wait to try the ribs ,we will be back .
Very short staffed. Long wait. Waitresses oblivious to patrons needing anything. Had to hunt down waitress for check after waiting for long time to get it. Banana pudding to go, tops not on and spilled all over. Prices on menu did not reflect prices on the bill. I understand being short staffed but let the patrons know and also apologize for the wait and lousy service!
The food is great and so is the service, we are texans so brisket is sacred to us, Foggy Bottom knows how to smoke meats!!! The sides are really really good too, the potato salad is among the best i have ever tasted. If you are looking for great bbq you will be bery happy with this place!!
Yesterday afternoon, my family ordered food. For my order, I only ordered a small Brunswick stew which was not good. The food didnt taste fresh. Took 2 bites and trashed it. So, I thought, Well I have the banana pudding. I took 2 bites of that, and it was really bad. So, I trashed that. Early this morning I thought I was going to pass out, so I quickly got on the floor in the restroom. I had severe diarrhea which I assume was possibly food poisoning. Because an hour after restroom incident, my body felt a lot better. Almost like I had gotten rid of all of the toxins.
Wow, This barbecue was awesome.. I read the reviews I went Im sold. To. I live in Norcross boss and I was looking for some really good barbecue . I came across this restaurant just doing a Google search.. Ive lived in Texas for 20 years I was looking for good barbecue . . The brisket was delicious the ribs were delicious just like I like them And those potato skins were good too. Now the Collard Greens need some work. Dont get me wrong they were clean but they need some ham hock and some black pepper and It needed to be smothered down a little bit more. But back to the brisket it was delicious the ribs were good . I will come back again for more. Oh I have a customer suggestion try to get a location in Norcross its a shame youre only at that 1 spot its too good.
Worst brisket in the area. The food is dry and bland, go to Mak & Jacks BBQ on Grayson Highway instead for the best BBQ youll ever have. They are also a local small business so its good to support them during these tough times.Re: Ive been going here for a long time, brisket has never been good.
Horrible experience just trying to buy a gift card. There was some sort of issue and it took over 20 minutes. No one apologized for the wait, despite the manager having to solve the issue. Also the girl initially trying to load the gift card did not know how to count cash. I will not be being another gift card from this restaurant.
First time here and everything was great! Fried Cajun ribs was definitely different and excellent! Pit master plate our 3 meats chicken, brisket, turkey and all were great also. Mac n cheese, Brunswick stew and Collards were all delicious too. I ordered our food for pickup, I was greeted soon as I walked in at the door and the place was very clean and the ladies were very friendly. We will definitely be back and highly recommend for all to try!
This was our first time at Foggy Bottom BBQ in Lawrenceville and we had an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. My kids loved the ribs , and they have high standards when it comes to BBQ or any food. My girls ordered from the kids menu and it was just the right amount for them. Hands down the best BBQ in town. We will be repeat offenders.
Best BBQ in Lawrenceville and have had in awhile! Service is fantastic, America so nice, great with suggestions and service. Wife enjoyed sampling the different BBQ meets on sliders, and I loved the brisket sandwich with pamento cheese. Wonderful Brunswick Stew and mixed greens. Looking forward to returning...
We love going to this local BBQ restaurant. Right in downtown Lawrenceville so a quick walk to anything else you want to do downtown. It feels like a local spot when you walk it so it always seems that you are going to run into someone you know. The kids like going here as well because they like the food which helps out with family night.
By far the best bbq I have eaten in a while. I had the pulled pork bbq sandwich. The meat was tender and moist. A friend had the slider trio and was impressed with the brisket and turkey. Loved the atmosphere (had a choice of dining inside or outside). From the time you walked in the door to the time you left everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I absolutely have nothing bad to say about Foggy Bottom BBQ. Love, love, love!!
First time visiting in Jan 2020 and Ill definitely be back. We started with some fresh pork rinds which are still crackling when they come out with a spicy dipping sauce thats out of this world. I got the brisket and pimento cheese sandwich and it was just right. We had a large party which they easily accommodated and the vibe was perfect for a family get together. Very kid friendly. The food portions are generous and we literally got our food 15 minutes after placing our order on a Friday night. They have this down to a science. Great spot in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville.
Might be the best BBQ in Lawrenceville. The chicken was smoked and juicy. The pork was tasty and not dry. We had the slaw, potato salad and french fries for sides. All were delicious and seasoned well. Previosly we had red beans w/rice and brunswich stew which were perfect as well. Looking forward to the next visit. They also have outside seating which was pleasant.
BBQ nachos were good, everything else not so much. Taste like it was being made for quantity and not quality. Mac and cheese was bland as well as the collards. Had the Sausage plate and seemed like it was cooked in a microwave. Put in it the oven on broil when I got home.
FABULOUS! Staff was very friendly, food was great. I had one side item that was a wee bit spicey for my taste, I mentioned it, not complaining, just mentioned, they took that item off our check. Dining room was very clean. This was our 1st visit but I am sure we will visit again. Oh, we were celebrating my husbands birthday but he didnt want me to mention it so, not sure what they do, if anything for special occasions. See you guys again soon! 😀
We LOVED it! Great friendly efficient service, delicious food. They had the best Brunswick stew Ive ever had in my life! The pulled pork sandwich was served in a great toasted bun and the meat was not fatty at all. Will definitely return and recommend it to our friends and family!
This place is a hidden gem! I had the bbq chicken and brisket tacos with a side of Mac and cheese. It was freaking awesome and the service was just as great! My waitress Ali was super helpful with pointing out the best menu items (it was my first time eating here). The Mac and cheese is a must have! Definitely will be back !
The food was just okay and it took 45 minutes to get us our food even though we showed up before the lunch rush. I am not going back.UPDATE:So they need to rename their restaurant. It shouldnt be called foggy bottom bbq, they should rename it explosive bottom bbq. That is what just happened to my bottom after eating there. So unless you are looking for awful service and the runs later, I would look at eating somewhere else.
I had high hopes for this place but I was severely disappointed. I ordered the half chicken with baked beans and collard greens. My family had the brunswick stew, mac n cheese, potatoe salad & red beans n rice. Omg, the food was not good at all. The only thing we ate was the red beans n rice. The chicken was very dry and bland. The collard greens was bland and sitting in a cup full of unseasoned water. *vomits* If you want good seasoned , juicy bbq chicken and BBQ food (in general) go to Jimmy Nix!! Sorry but I will not go to this place again
Just horrible! My fiancé, me and our two two-year old girls came here to eat two weeks ago, on a Thursday.I ordered the brisket sliders and my fiancé got a burger. We also ordered chicken tenders and mac&cheese for our girls!Let me start with mine. The brisket was soooo dry and the bread looked like it has been sitting outside for a while. My fiancé’s burger wasn’t the best either. He said that for a bbq place, it actually was bad. Also I tasted the chicken tenders and the mac&cheese. The chicken looked like it was fryer in old oil and the mac&cheese was totally unseasoned. Like it had no flavor at all! Not even salt! Which makes me wonder how it was possible since the salt should already be in the cheese sauce...Anyway, we tried this place because of all the nice reviews it had. But for us it was just horrible and we will never go again.
Went here for the first time over the weekend. My wife got the BBQ tacos and said they were really good. I had the pulled pork plate. The BBQ was favorable and tender. Nice portions but not too much. The baked beans are a little different than I expected but good. The service was quick and friendly. Next time I am in downtown Lawrenceville I will go back.
First time customer. Loved the brisket. I didnt care for the potato salad (Im a mustard and sweet pickles potato salad person) my daughter loved the pork skins but, mac and cheese was dry and unappealing. French fries were good. The Brunswick stew was packed with meat and was really good. Service was great. Kinda pricey.
Foggy Bottom is the absolute best ribs and BBQ I have ever eaten in my life. My family loves the pulled pork. I love the baby back ribs. There is so much clean meat on the ribs and the meat just falls off. I dont know what other BBQ places do for getting their ribs cause Foggy Bottom gets the ribs with the most meat. Pulled pork isnt loaded with a lot of fat. It is rare to ever get anything but clean, delicious pulled pork. The mac n cheese is pretty good. I personally dont like the beans. Ive had better but you cant touch the ribs and pulled pork. Brisket is pretty good too. Never tried the chicken. They have another location in Loganville. This is a must try BBQ place.
Best beef brisket Ive ever had; definitely try their original sauce. The sides (fried okra and potato salad) were also delicious. Nice selection of beers on tap. Service was prompt and friendly. All-in-all, I highly recommend Foggy Bottom if youre looking for barbecue in Lawrenceville.
The restaurant was clean and we received good service. They had a small selection of draft beer and they served my craft beer in a plastic cup. The food was good or average for your typical BBQ. The fried pickle spears for an app were a highlight to the visit. The smoked sausage was the most shockingly good of the meats. I tried a sample of all six choices of meats they offer. Nothing was bad. And the food was served fresh. But there was nothing other than the pickle spears and sausage that set this place apart from other BBQ joints.
Good space and service. Actual BBQ was lacking good seasoning, so bland. Id hoped testing the homemade sauce options could make the taste of the meat better and add moisture, but each flavor made each bite worse, in different ways. No dessert highlights; banana pudding tasted and looked exactly how youd expect.
Foggy Bottom BBQ is a beautiful venue in the heart of Lawrenceville and serves some of the best BBQ in town. I was very pleased with the food and the service and will definitely be coming back for more. Their pulled pork sandwiches were incredible, and combined with a side of baked beans as well as some red beans and rice, your mouth will be salivating for another round.
Service was friendly and excellent. Fried pickles were delicious. But thats where the goodness stopped. We both ordered 1/2 rack of ribs with fried okra, Brunswick stew and baked beans. The ribs were dry and lacked a smokey flavor. They appeared to be baked, not smoked. The okra and baked beans were pretty good. The Brunswick stew was loaded with Lima beans. Not a traditional recipe. The cost was rather pricey for BBQ. With tip, $59.00.
Nice clean restaurant, Staff was very polite and attentive my only issue was my food was cold we got the brisket nachos appetizer the brisket was cold My meal pulled pork on Texas toast the bread was cold and hard the meat was cold as well my kids food was hot they had no issues mine was very disappointing.
Delicious BBQ with a twist!!! I didnt expect to see a BBQ sandwich with pimento cheese but it was amazing!!!! The brisket was some of the best Ive had!!! It was super tender and flavorful!!!! Also the decor and location were awesome. It sits in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville with great outdoor seating!!! A must try!!!!
Pickup for family and couldn’t tell the difference in an adult chicken tender basket for $10.00 versus the kids tender for $5.00. Just want everyone to be informed in advance. Not worth paying for. Spoke with the Manager (think her name was Kim or Kelly) and she let me know that was correct and to maybe call them to order versus going on Google. What that had to do with the portion sizes I really don’t know. Last visit to Foggy Bottom.
First theyre in the middle of downtown Lawrenceville so parking there is minimal at best. I stopped by for a BBQ pork sandwich to go. Dried out pork like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Their other location in Loganville very good & we have been there numerous times. I will try the Lawrenceville location again just to see if I caught them at a bad time.
Love this place. Went to the original in Loganville and then saw this new location in Lawrenceville. My wife loves the Brisket Tacos. I like the Smoked Chicken and Turkey as well. Brunswick Stew and Baked Beans are also good as well. Service at both is excellent. Either location is a win.
Great spot on the Lawrenceville square for Bar B Q. Their pork rinds are so good and made to order. When they bring them to the table they are just a crackling. I had the Bar B Q tacos which are awesome. You get three so I choose a different meat for each one. They are loaded with meat and I can only eat two of them.
OMG!!!!😃Today is the first time Ive eaten from this restaurant but I can assure you it wont be My last!!!! My Hubby and I chose this place for Our anniversary dinner. We ordered the beef brisket platters and EVERYTHING was sooooo delicious!!!!😄 The food had such a homemade taste!!!!😃 I look forward to Our next purchase in the near future!!!!😁
Went here for the second time. The lack of actual silverware and plates is bothersome and feels cheap. The meats are okay, nothing special, no big flavors. The star here is the potato salad.I know we should keep it local, but if a local meal costs twice of the chain and not even half of the flavor, it doesnt make sense to keep it local
Service OK. Had the Brisket Plate with green beans and collards as a side, 16 dollars. Brisket was OK, but rather bland. Green beans were watered down in flavor and beyond tender. Collard greens had too much black pepper, giant stalks, and hardly any of the leaf. Not bad but not great either, in my opinion.
This new BBQ place is so good. Ive been here several times now and they are consistently great. The service is good, food is amazing and restaurant is huge inside, could fit a bigger group of people. I really like the brisket here. If you like brisket, try the brisket tacos (theyre huge)!
Not the worst BBQ Ive ever had, but close. Fried okra was good, but thats the only thing that wasnt terrible. Brisket was tender and juicy, but had absolutely no flavor. Half of my pulled pork wasnt even pulled, it was just a big chunk of meat. Collards were bland and not very good. The Glory brand canned collards from the grocery store are significantly better than the collards here. To top it all off, all four of the BBQ sauces here are terrible. I had a suspicion the food would be subpar after seeing the prices, combined with the plastic silverware and the plastic cup they brought out for the beer my girlfriend ordered. Staff was friendly and service was decent, but I wouldnt eat here again even if the food was free.
Brisket was good with an outstanding bark, wouldve loved to had some burnt ends. The rib was the competition style they had a little tug coming off the bone just the right way. The pulled pork was a little dried out for my style but did have a good flavor. The best potato salad Ive hard bets my moms hands down. Defiantly on my list to return.
Staff courteous, efficient and prompt. All the BBQ meat Ive had has been scrumptious. The only things I would change are the slaw and Brunswick stew. Personally, I like less mayonnaise in slaw rather than more. Lima beans dont have a place in Brunswick stew for me. Otherwise, everything has been really good.
Had the brisket, Brunswick stew, and pork skins. Brisket was tender and very well seasoned, didnt really need bbq sauce. Brunswick stew was meaty and flavorful. The pork skins were made to order, very crunchy. Only four stars just because the brisket was warm, not hot.
I had a really positive experience with the staff, very friendly. The food was really really good. The sauces were just right. My only complaint is the portions. For a pulled pork plate, with an extra portion of meat after I finished off the main plate, okra, brunswick stew, and a banana pudding dessert; I barely left with a full belly. And a $28 tab with the tip included. If the price point was just a tiiiiiiinnnny bit lower, I think value received vs cost paid would have balanced out quite nicely. Being on the square Im guessing that overhead is a factor.
This was my very first time here and my server Gail (hope Im spelling that right) was amazing! So very sweet and helpful with the menu. The food came out fast and hot. Everybody needs to eat that brunswick stew that they make there. Thanks for such a great experience yall.
Reaaaaallllyyyy solid place! Had a sampler platter with ribs, brisket and pork...added a side of sausage as well. Sides included mac n cheese, some of the best collards Ive ever had, and red beans and rice. All were delicious, as was the banana pudding! Will definitely be back again! Its awesome to finally have good bbq in the Lawrenceville area
So glad Foggy Bottom opened where they did in Lawrenceville. The building is nice and open with lots of natural light and high ceilings. It does not feel crowded even with a full restaurant. It feels a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside. There are large TVs visible from most seats but the TVs do not dominate the atmosphere, which is pleasantly fresh and a clean rustic. Highly recommend the turkey sliders And potato salad .The brisket taco is good, too. I look forward to trying more!
Foggy Bottom is becoming one of our regular favorites! The freshly made pork skins are the main reason. They are amazing and its so rare to find a genuine keto appetizer. The service is always friendly, the prices arent too bad, and Downtown Lawrenceville is the place to be.
My Husband and I had the deep fried cajun ribs they were so delicious. We ordered a basket of pork rinds and they came crackling at our table. My husband orders the pit master to try 3 items at once and all were perfect and moist. The potatoe salad is to DIE for. Will be returning in the foreseeable future.
1st time here! The meat was amazing, fell off the bone. I had the 1/2 chicken plate thing with sweet potatoe fries and mac and cheese. Let me tell you! That food was bomb! They have the bbq sauce on the table so you can pick your own. The mac and cheese was very flavorful and the fries, just beautiful.
Hit and miss. More of a hit - the meats are good. Why cant they serve salad as a side? If they had low carb sides I would go there more. Thinking of the sides I have had: The fries and sweet potato fries are good --but why does the kitchen send them to you covered in grease? Yuck. And the banana pudding is made by someone who doesnt care or has never had good banana pudding. Its no secret...follow the recipe on the side of the vanilla wafers box. The red rice and beans or the Brunswick stew...mehhh.
I love doing reviews to help others make informed decisions, but my review isnt enough on this place. So happy to welcome a bbq place to lawrenceville square. I need everyone to not just come here, but run here to try this amazing food. Im writing this as i eat because its THAT good. The brisket, the chicken, the ribs, the mac and cheese, the greens, the Brunswick stew, and most importantly, the red beans and rice are out of this world. I cant wait to return to this delicious food. To try other options. Best bbq..... EVER!!!!!

2022-04-27So good! The Latina server was so nice and had great customer service. She was funny and really quick with our order. The Peanut butter pie was to die for! I’ve never had one that good before and I think it’s because they make them in house.

2022-07-10Gotta be some of the best brisket we’ve ever had. Also had some pork and ribs. Several sides to choose from. Add in the peach cobbler and what a great meal we had. Wish it was closer so I could enjoy more often.

2022-06-15Food good Service good and Vibe good.Must try brisket. Rib is okay. Mac and Cheese is okay. I liked the Brunswick stew. I was not happy with the banana pudding cause it tasted like play-dough to me, and I got a full refund.I wanted sausage but it was either temporarily out of stock or dont have it on menu anymore.I would go again and probably try some other stuff on the menu if I ever come around downtown Lawrenceville again

2022-03-26Please don’t waste your time nor your moneyTasteless, flavorless, insipid, everything without flavor, dirty tables, dirty floors and the sauces suck… 1 appetizers, 3 tacos and half rack of ribs, $49.82I can’t even understand what’s the fuss with this place… we tried to come several times but we ended up going elsewhere. The only good thing, Andrea T, the server. Not coming back

2022-05-17I absolutely love the food and service here! Great place.I just wish theyd give out napkins or invest in a paper towel dispenser. Just having a roll on the table is unsanitary. Other customers dirty hands make the top of the roll dirty.

2022-05-28As you can tell by the picture the food was terrible. All seriousness the food was good. I had the pulled smoked chicken with a side of green beans and potato salad. The green beans were average, everything else was great.Friend staff. The food came out quick.

2022-03-11This restaurant has been on my list to try for awhile. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. It is located on the square of downtown lawrenceville. It’s very pretty square. We ate and walked a pine the downtown and did some shopping.I ordered a pork sandwich with fries and my husband got the award wining ribs. The pork was very tender and I loved the Texas toast. The restaurant is very clean and I really appreciate that when eating somewhere lol. The staff was friendly and Attentive. The price point was really good for the portion sizes. I live in Alpharetta and I will definitely be making the drive to lawrenceville again!!! If you haven’t already you need to try this restaurant:)

2022-06-21It was my first time at Foggy Bottoms. Great atmosphere. Our waitress, Kate was very nice and attentive. The BBQ was outstanding. I had 3 sliders, chicken, pork and beef brisket; with a side dish. The meat was piled high, tender and delicious. They offer smoked turkey as a choice but was out of turkey the day I was there. Great place to dine and socialize. Plenty of flat screens as well!

2022-05-09Ordered take out for the family online. Pickup is at the bar counter. BBQ was good, but may have been held in the warmer too long as it it was late in the day. The brisket had the potential to be excellent, but was dry. Spiced extremely well with what seemed to be a mustard seed rub. Sides were good (had flat green beans, Mac n cheese, and baked beans).

2022-02-28Great service and love the homey atmosphere! We got the smoked and wings and fried pickles for apps - absolutely delicious. Best fried pickles I’ve had perfect amount of crisp. Only reason for rating 4 stars is because the entree fell a little short. The meats were not the best we have had for bbq and the sides were okay.
