I actually worked here when I first moved to Hinesville. Seemed like a nice place at first but the managers were horrible women. Actually was told during my orientation that many people have gone to HR about her but they end up fired for it not her. I ended up finding another job, but unfortunately this is the closest store to my home. Never have anything I need or want. Thus making me go to Wal-Mart. Just do yourself the favor and go some place else

Birthday cake for my daughter was delicious and beautiful!! Only complaint I have giving 4 stars is when I went to get the cake I stood there for at least 5 minutes while the employees were joking/flirting with each other seeing I was waiting.

I ordered a birthday day cake on the 10th for my son’s bday which I was going to pick up at 12 on Sunday it wasn’t done had to wait for it to be made. I was given a discount,but the cake was kinda frozen on the inside

They keep the store clean and have the best chocolate milk for a store brand. Prices are high for what I get from them. They have better cakes than most grocery stores. Publix has the best cakes. Convenience is nice when you run out of stuff and its just down the street.

Recently remodeled (November 2021) and now offering Food Lion to Go. This is my favorite food lion to shop at. Additionally, one time I asked if they could stock more of a ethnic specific item and the very next week they had done so - I did not expect this in the slightest yet they came through when my wife was in the final stretch of her pregnancy cravings. Will always shop here for my grocery needs.
Employees did not have have seating available despite having no need to stand up. This kind of managerial cruelty is unprofessional.

Love the great selection of meats and great prices. Restrooms are always clean and I can always find the specialty items I am looking for. They recently remodeled so finding everything takes a couple more minutes but theyre also carrying more items now.
Fair pricing especially if you have a Good Lion card. The shelves are a little empty and need to be stocked more. All in all the store is a great shopping store and the employees are nice at least the ones I have rum into and has the pleasure of talking to.
I was at this place briefly, and my needs was not Mets. So I cant say how wonderful this place is but it a pretty big grocery and people were coming and going while I was there.They only change cashier cheque, I was informed.Clean well stocked and too far for me.distance wise it not my choice.

Check out was , fabulous, the cashier greeted me and then led me to the checkout and took my items out and placed them on the counter .wow for a moment felt like royalty! Lol it was really nice experience and the store of course neat, orderly,staff pleasant.
Parking lot is relatively easy to get in an out of despite being right on a large intersection. The building is plenty clean, and the produce section is as good as youd expect from food lion. However the building is fairly dark, especially in the frozen aisles. This is also a smaller location, the selection is good but not great. Their flower bouquets are really nice though! For those looking for a valentines gift tomorrow.
I had to go here a week ago. I didnt want to due to bad experiences in the past and high prices. I was overwhelmed by the staff. The young man that checked me out was over the top with customer service. Ive been back twice and have been overwhelmed by the staff changes. The staff at the registers are really top notch right now. Good job Food Lion! Keep all these young men at checkout. Every one of them are fantastic!

Able to get what I needed quickly. Some special things werent stocked up, Im used to purchasing bulk quantities for lower overall cost but had to go to the next closest level.
When walking into store no sanitary towels to wipe down carts or baskets, carpet was Dirty... Inside the store wasnt to bad, but dont look for anyone to help you because there are none, except for the register people. I was there a week ago and the lady at register was very nice and even offered free flowers, which I was very happy about because my husband had just gotten out if hosp after having major surgery...
Overall the absolute best group of workers and management in any grocery store...

Decent grocery store with quality service. Deli worker went out of his way to help me find what i was looking for. It was late in the day and all the rotisserie chickens were gone. Deli worker pulled a fresh ones from the oven and made a point to give me the biggest, prettiest one he could find. Absolutely an over all good experience.

I went onto food lion for Pillsbury bread mix like pumpkin, carrots. Cranberry poppy seed, banana nut, they did not have any of theseI will keep looking
This store has the most absolute rude and disrespectful customer service/ managers A.K.A Jerica. My advice for anyone willing or trying to work there go to a different store. Nobody should be disrespected the way I have from people like her. It makes me angry that she still has a job there but no worries because my Lord and Savior knows how to put people like her in her place.
I am visiting this area again. I am used to the markets in southern Calif. Much more selection in Calif.

Variety of fruits and vegetables. Was able to purchase fresh variety of Organic health items tumeric,ginger and aloe in fruit and produce sections.
Better than most of the grocery stores in the area. Food selection is pretty good. Their prices are alittle high though. Customer service seems to be hit or miss. Sometimes you get a really friendly cashier, sometimes you get one that wont even talk to you. The carts in the parking lot could definitely be kept up with better. It doesnt help that lots of people are too lazy to walk 40 feet to put their cart in the designated spots.
I always go in this store bc its convenient. But after my last 2 visits im done..I will ride all the way across town to kroger..western union always down,and I use my ebt card which my last name doesnt match the same as my i.d.but for the last 6 months or so Ive been alright and noone ever gave me a problem..all of a sudden it was a problem...and the MANAGER BARELY WANTED TO HEAR ME OUT.IN WHICH SHE HAS ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS BEEN THE ONE TO OKAY IT..WHO HAS TIME TO LIE ABOUT EBT..

Food Lion does have some good MVP deals but non deal prices are much higher, and most times register lines are exceedingly long because apparently nobody knows how to schedule enough people to work during peak hours
The ratings are correct because even though they have a large variety of different and new food items , the prices can be too high.
Cleanest store Ive ever been in. Feom the parking lot to the isles you can tell that everyone does their part tonkeep shelves sticked and in order. I would have given 5*s but they slack at signage even late the next day after it has expired. The manager gives me the shown price but often times I dont see it until I have gotten home or delivered the groceries to whomever I bought them for.

I love this grocery store! Friendly staff, clean, organized, theres always sales on everything, etc. What else do you need? My only issue is they tend to not have enough people on the registers and the lines can get long pretty quickly. Otherwise, Im so glad I live close to a great grocery store! Also, the mobile app is awesome and actually does help you save and earn great rewards!

The one in Jedburg is great.New store and is very clean 5 minutes from the house and I hate going to?Wal-Mart anymore and having to ring and bag your own groceries.Its not like the price went down or anything.

Honestly Im so over these spoiled shoppers! Ive only had the best experiences here. The people are always kind and helpful! Okay they may not have anything to wipe the cart but truly whose responsibility is that. They already have so much to deal with and are sacrificing themselves for you to take care of YOUR family. Yall are unrealistic and disgusting! I refuse to go to Walmart which is apparently where some of you should go who dont appreciate great customer service! We just moved here and only eat organic foods. Really Nice store, I only wished they carried a little more healthy items. They have organic shredded cheese but no sliced cheese, and no Organic frozen vegetables, just to name a few.
For what ever reason during their busiest times, there’s only one or two opened registers. It’s not until the line or lines are blocking aisles when they decide “ Maybe we should open another register”. It’s sort of annoying especially when I can see the employees getting flustered with the amount of people waiting.
This is the main source of our familys grocery shopping, wide selection, good prices from what I can tell, and its even so helpful that they show you how much you pay per ounce, pound, etcetera. I havent had a whole lot of experience with it aside from small trips I take myself to get the occasional few items, but I find its really nice to only need one store card per household so long as you know the holders phone number.Sadly they dont have bike racks, so it can be a bit tedious to arrive by bicycle, though its probably not too much trouble to use a railing or light post for it. About the biggest problem Ive had is the poor signage for aisles, where theyre positioned and sized in a way that it isnt legible from long distances, and not visible from most angles, especially when what youre looking for is on a different sign than the one youre looking at, which would be on the adjacent side.Despite shortcomings its made up for by the other higher standards than places such as Walmart, which is another local outlet. As long as youre acclimated to the layout of the store, and have a car, you wont have as much trouble as I do.
If you need deals and you live in the hinesville area this food line is the best place to find it they have deals all the time on all different types of food you just have to look for it make sure you get the MVP membership is that way you can cash in on them deals
I was there a few weeks ago (after not going out for a month and a half) and was amazed that only 2 employees had masks on. Called and complained and asked why it wasn’t a requirement. The woman at the home office said they were planning on making it mandatory the following day. That apparently was a lie after reading another review of someone who was there a week ago. So far, the only places I am aware of that require all employees and customers to wear masks is the commissary and px on post and goodwill. That’s the limit I have for my shopping as I am a high risk. Thanks Georgia !
Store was clean and nice but as soon as I walked in I think the mangers name was mrs penny she was yelling at one of her employees in front of the entire store and later during my check out was trash talking about the employee to the other coworkers I think it’s very wrong to treat your employees in such a manner. This really gave me a bad feel for the entire store and I will stick with my shopping at Kroger
This Food Lion has always been a great experience for me its staff or always friendly the prices are always right and the whip cupcakes from the deli are the best Ive ever had! This is the only grocery store I use except when I go to Kroger to get my coffee creamer that is the only time I break from my routine and not shop at Food Lion! I have actually gone to this location twice today.
It’s a pet peeve of mine when I go to a grocery store and see the carts all over the parking lot. I was extremely upset when I walked out and saw my truck with 2 shopping carts on it and a really nice dent in the door. I went back inside to see the manager, she was reading something when she called me over. After I told her what happened she stopped looking at me and continued reading and said, “sorry sir” I was doing my best to hold back my frustration. She said I have a worker continuously Picking up buggies which is not true because when I first walked into the store, there was only 6 buggies to grab. She acted as if it was not a big deal. When I get, it’s not her vehicle or money. When I told her I wanted the corporate offices number she said, “you don’t file a police report with the corporate office” l Responded with, it’s not to file a report it’s to try and speak with someone on your customer service. Please, if you’re speaking with somebody have the common courtesy to look at them.
Food Lion is situated in a prime spot for ultimate convenience. They normally arent the cheapest place to buy groceries for like the whole week.
Very nice store. Not to big and not to small. Very clean and easy to find most items. The store is about 25% higher on cost then most other stores but can have some good deals on some items. They normally are pretty fast to open more registers if there is a lot of people checking out at once. Very nice employees and helpful.
When I went in it was neat and clean; however, there was no produce. Walked to the meat department and saw a lot of packages of meat that was swollen, which is a sign that meat has been out of the refrigerator and just placed back on shelf. Left without purchasing anything after finding the meat like that.

Nice clean store with a good diverse range of groceries and convenient items. Parking is never really an issue but the store shares a parking lot with other smaller stores in the same shopping center. Convenient location for grabbing something on the way home.
Clean store, poor selection. Half of what I needed wasnt carried here. Its a small version of a regular sized grocery store, mostly regarding produce and items such as gluten free oats, amino acids, a store brand gallon of water.
Produce is always fresh. Meats look great. Priced a little higher than other places, but still within reason. Staff are always friendly and smiling.

This is an excellent grocery store they have a nice selection of produce meats and bakery. They also have very good sales every week we shop here on a weekly basis I really like them. The staff is always friendly and polite.

Do not go here after dark. There have been one or two times where I have been followed to my vehicle after leaving the store. The products inside are overpriced. Its unfortunate that this is the only store close to my location. But it is worth my safety to go into hinesville and go to Walmart. The extra dollar in gas is worth better prices as well.

I do not like this store because of store management she needs more training on how to treat her employees ..The way she talks to them is awful on top of making some work from open to close ..People have families and to work some 6 days a week with one day with family is ridiculous ..I’m a manager at a Grocery Store and yes we are a business but you do not treat your people like she does ..I would never shop this store after hearing how she treats her people I would never recommend this store to Family and Friends ..Good employees are hard to find she needs to appreciate who is there and still working under her ..
They do carry some items that other stores dont however they are a little more pricey and most management arent friendly or willing to go above/ beyond for the customer expect the bare minimum. The store manager and a grew employees will go the extra mile.
It is clean and well stocked. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the long lines at checkout and the fact that there isnt someone at customer service most of the time so if you need assistance from customer service, be prepared to wait a while.

If you like Food Lion stores, youll like this one. Friendly, helpful staff, clean store. Convenient to neighborhoods on Airport Road and 15th Street. Typical selection of national brands and Food Lion House Brands, which unfortunately bring the typical high Food Lion prices.
The overall appearance of the store is good, but it often seems like a sour mop is used to clean the floors. I also saw some strawberries in the very first display last year as I walked in so I figured Strawberry Shortcake was on order. As I looked at the packages, EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. had mold in them. ON the front and center display!! Also, during very busy times of day, they never seem to have enough people working to open extra registers so their line is 10 people deep.I still hit them on occasion but have to go at off peak hours and its only when I dont feel like running further into town to another store.
This is one of the worst Food Lions when it comes to Customer Service Ive been to, the last time we were in the store, the lines were down the aisles and the Store Manager stood at the Customer Service desk and talked with the girl working there. They both looked at the lines and turned back around, neither helping out the cashiers asking for help. My cashier was so frustrated because she kept asking for someone to come help her and wasnt getting a response, she told the customer before me she was sorry but didnt know what to do. I avoid shopping at this store as much as possible, I live in Ludowici and Ill drive the extra 15-20 minutes to Kroger.

Rude Rude Rude staff. A cashier/stocker named Gloria felt that her stocking duties was more important than the customer. I said excuse me 3 times. Really good place not too bad cashiers need a little more training on Wick checks because a lot of them do not know what theyre doing and take even longer when they dont need to and some of them dont know how to key in your VIP card theres two out of eight people that do a really good job and know what theyre doing all in all food produce a quick place to pick up some Essentials paper plates what not very good I do recommend this place

2022-02-22The store is always well stocked, clean and the staff is always kind and helpful. The fruit, salads and meats always look so fresh and pretty. MAJOR PLUS....they always have plenty of registers open so standing in line is either non existent or a very short wait. I wouldve given 5 stars but today I purchased some steaks and my hubs says because they were cut wrong they cooked tough. I know he wasnt sparing my feelings because I can cook😋, so please Food Lion cut the steaks the proper way😒. However, Ill still give this location an A

2022-06-20I love this place! I like the new look Food Lion has now -- the updates are clean-looking and polished; it used to look all out-dated and dreary-looking. It really made you not want to shop there, and if you did, you were in a hurry to get out of there! Now, I enjoy being in there. Especially when the prices are so low! Right now, because of the pandemic, the supply chain issues, and inflation, prices have gone up pretty-much all over the earth; but at least with Food Lion, you can still get the most out of your hard-earned money! Because their prices are STILL the best in town! When I go to Walmart, I hardly get anything and it comes up to $100 easy, for less than 20 items of grocery! THAT IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS! Food Lion doesnt have as much variety as Walmart, and I have to end up going to Walmart anyway for those few other items, but IT IS STILL WORTH IT IN THE END! It helps so much to save money and end up with a substantial amount of food these days. I will take THAT anytime! I wish they had delivery available like Walmart, but thats okay. They do have curb-side service, so . . . I imagine theyre able to keep prices low because they DONT have that service. So for that reason alone, I will continue to spend my money there! One other reason is their customer service has been downright pleasant (This is just my second time going there in over a year). It is the only grocery store Im using, and I would recommend them to anyone wanting/needing to get the most out of their money!

2022-06-14Best shopping experience in hinesville and Ludowici. Best produce that they even contract through the local farmers to get. Very clean and so much better than going to Walmart. They also have a Goodlion-to-go so you can order then have them bring out your items to a set place in the parking lot.

2022-07-01I placed a cake order about 2 weeks prior to my requested date. I came back in the next day the move pick up date one day back. I know they had me in the system because they were able to see it, know who I was and move the requested date. I came in today to pick up the cake and they told me there are no cakes in my name. Unfortunate but theyve lost my business forever.

2022-06-12Food Lion may be a little pricier than the Super Walmart and the two Neighborhood Walmarts nearby, but it’s worth the extra expense not to have to deal with the chaos characteristic of Walmart.The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a wide selection of fresh and frozen foods as well as the standard canned and boxed varieties. The meat selection is of better quality/grade than Walmart.The restrooms are always clean.

2022-05-25Shelves and coolers are half empty most of the time. Prices on most items are way to expensive. Good for a quick close stop to home when needed.

2022-05-11I shop this store because it is close to my daughters house. Employees and mgmt have come a Long way in their customer service, finally (!) hired friendly cashiers. My biggest complaint is this store looks like the day after Thanksgiving ..... their stock availability receives triple negative ZERO ! Well over a yr ago I asked one of the mgrs why the shelves were so empty, they had NO pasta or sauce for 1 example, his answer was food shortages. Ummmm hello !!! I work at a grocery store, as well as shop at other stores and for the most part replenishment was up +/- 80% . No other stores shelves look like this. Now keep mind, at least, one yr after empty shelves they STILL have no product. No pasta, freezers are empty ...... what store has NO frozen potatoes, French fried, tator tots etc??? Corporate really needs to make a surprise visit and do the ordering.

2022-06-06This is the first grocery store I have shopped in. Im this area that is well-stocked, prices fair, and the store was clean. The only reason I did not give a higher score is there are no baggers or anyone to assist the elderly to their cars. This should be made available to all people where they shop.
