They said they couldnt find my lug nut tool to rotate my tires while I was there getting my first oil change on a new truck.I told them it should be in the glove box.They said they looked and couldnt find it.Soon as I got truck back I looked in glove box and the lug nut tool was in there.I went back in to let them know it was in the glove box and I showed it to them but they wouldnt take truck back in to rotate the tires.This was my first trip for service on this new truck.This will be my 1st and last trip for service to this location as they obviously seem to incompetent to do thier job correctlyNow I have the inconvenience of riding on un rotated tires another 3000 to 5000 miles or waiting inconveniently at a different location to get them rotatedNOT COOL FORD OF DALTON !!!
I usually go to Chatsworth Ford for my oil change, but they were booked so I went here. I thought the guy was joking when he told me $70 to do an oil change on my escape. At Chatsworth Ford it is $35 ( just the oil change) so I spent $40 at advanced auto an done it myself. My car doesnt even hold $70 worth of oil and thats all I wanted,no tire rotation,dont have to check my fluids or anything.
We went up to Dalton to look at a used car. We liked the car and were told that they would detail it and fill it up with gas. Now this happened last year in December. They did not detail the car, they did not put gas in it and in fact the salesman left without finishing the deal. Terrible service and no concern for the customer. Very unprofessional. Buy some where else.

When I was looking to order a Ford Maverick, I went by multiple dealerships in the state, and Ford of Dalton was one of if not the most pleasant dealership experiences Ive ever had. There were no pressure tactics, and my salesman Ezequiel was incredibly friendly and answered any questions or concerns I had.

One Saturday morning, my wife and I had barely gotten onto I-75 15 miles N in Ringgold, GA, when our car started acting up with the engine light flashing at us. I immediately had thoughts of being stranded in Georgia for days and then I saw a billboard advertising Ford of Dalton. The service department was open and got to the car right away. We were back on the highway in tip-top shape in two hours! The service technician was very professional and showed me exactly what he had to do to fix the car. We were very happy.
I had an appointment with Louie at the Quick Lane Oil Service and even though I was running a little late they got me in and serviced my vehicle quickly! When my vehicle was done Luis Rubio went the extra mile to help me enroll in the Ford Pass Reward Program. I told him initially that I had a new phone and he didnt let that phase him at all!!! I want to explain why Im changing my rating and how I feel about the Ford of Dalton dealership, today March 10th, 2022 the Sales manager Mr. Lanney reached out to me to find out why I rated them the way I did. I explained what happened and I have his reassurance that they will help me if they can. That is true customer service and management skills, that is what the world is missing compassion.
There internet team was spot on! Answered all my questions. The vehicle I was looking at was 3 years old. They went over it with a fine tooth comb and sent my pictures of any scratch or blemish. I drove over 3 hours to them. They did not hassle my about my trade in. I gave them pictures and the vin before I headed their way, so I knew exactly what trade in value I was getting. It was more than I expected. I love our new van.Thank you Ford of Dalton!

Wonderful experience from the second we arrived. We were greeted at the door with the salesman, Sam, I connected with online. He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the features of the vehicle we were looking at and explained how each of them worked, in detail. They gave me top dollar for my trade-in and made that a smooth, seamless process. The sales manager was very friendly and made you feel at ease. I didnt feel like we were under any pressure or being lied to, like you do at many dealerships. We financed through them and it was a wonderful experience, as well. I would definitely recommend this dealership. We will start our next car search at Dalton Ford, when the time comes. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again and again.
Purchased a $30K F150 from this dealership in December. Had to take the truck in for some basic warranty work done. After the service department had the truck a whole week they informed me that the truck needed the water pump replaced for $1200. I was told the truck never left the lot, very unusual and suspiciouse being it hasnt been leaking in my garage yet. Was told by multiple managers that it needed replaced and was leaking so bad it WOULDNT DRIVE HOME.I showed up to get the truck and it wasnt leaking a drop. Drove it home and let it run for hours, again no leak whatsoever. The dealership was obviously trying to scam me out of money. After i had another shop confirm there wasnt anything wrong I called to speak with them multiple times concerning the matter with no calls returned. DONT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP FOR ANY SERVICE WORK.
I normally hate shopping for a car.Ford of Dalton changed that for me. I had bought a few cars from them, but it had been over 20 years. I was looking on their lot when a salesman,Blake Hilley, approached me and asked if he could help. He really meant that too. He didn’t start trying to sell, he answered any questions I had and helped me find what I was looking for.I have nothing but good things to say about everyone that I worked with there on the purchase.I highly recommend asking for Blake Hilley if you are in need of any vehicle.
This was my 3rd visit to Dalton Ford and can attest to their continued improvement in customer dedication.This latest opportunity, a regular oil change, led me to comment on a strange noise observed during a recent trip to TX. To my surprise, the staff not only listened to my story but also proactively checked possible explanations. In discussing scenarios, we concluded that the use of a tire slightly larger in diameter interfered with mudguards above 70 mph, specially if trailing in a very turbulent wake from traffic ahead.That is attitude and service to be commended!
Service was great and the staff was great. I cannot believe how much the price has increased since my last oil change a few months ago. After being a dedicated customer for many years, I will definitely being looking somewhere else for any future services. If you get a oil change at Ford of Dalton be prepared for sticker shock.
I rolled into Ford because a tire blew out on me. They were quick to put on my spare at no charge. Once the tire was off, we discovered a hole in the wheel. I decided to let them take care of my tires and wheel and they did it with great professionalism. Daniel and Amber were great!

I purchased a 2015 Camaro. They had put a rear wheel bearing on it and new brake pads. Didnt tighten up the bolts on the caliper and it fell off before getting back to Chattanooga and damaged the 22 inch wheel. Salesman was great but not to happy with the way that the issue was handled.Update!!On the issue, Chris Poe, and Byron called me and went way above expectations and fixed the problem.Thanks so much for taking care of the problem and we love the awesome deal we got on the car!Dan Green
My 2017 ford escape decided it was time for a new transmission , The young man by the name of Omar was beyond helpful with my situation. I tried to buy a used truck for the price of 30,500. I told them that it should have a starting price of 28,500. The young sales man went to go get his manager of used car. The manager came and told me that I will never find a vehicle like this no where for that price. I showed him two similar ones in Mall of Georgia mini. He was upset and told me that our conversation was over. He said I can leave now and offered nothing in negotiations. 2 months later you can find the same truck sitting on their lot for 28,999. I have the picture to prove it.

Me and my fiancé bought a 2020 F150 from here a couple of days ago. To start off the manager tried to get us in a new f150, we came in looking for a used one but we were open to the idea because he said it may fall in our price range. It was around $900 a month, I’m guessing he knew that considering it’s not his first time running someone on a new truck. He continued to run loans on trucks out of our price range just to tell us the payments would be $750+. Our budget was $650 and this was made very clear ahead of time. After we walked out he chased us out of the door to ask us to come back so we could “work on it”. This happened not once but twice. We were already stepping into our car. He finally ran us on a truck in our price range, and surprise the payments were finally not outrageous. It had 60k miles but we were told it will be put through an inspection. We picked it up that night after the inspection with less than a quarter of a tank (considering we spent around 50k total you’d think they’d fill it up haha). There was no mention of any issues until we received a call the next day that they found an oil leak during the inspection and we were not told until after we signed the contract for the truck. We asked if we could do paperwork that night as we both had to get to work and had been there too long already, they said it “really couldn’t wait and would only be 20 min” it was 40 and they forgot to have us sign part of the papers so when I got off work I had to drive all the way back to do so even though they pushed us to sign them earlier that day because it couldn’t wait. They also were not able to give the door code because “they didn’t have it”. They will fix these items but they will need us to bring the truck back in and we will be down a vehicle. We are very unhappy with the lack of transparency and care we received during our purchase. I would not recommend anyone to buy a used car from them. Our salesman Chris was great. The manager “helping” was not. We will be looking into our options to better handle this situation. Ford of Dalton, you have my email in our sales record if you would like to provide an explanation for this.
Omar, the service writer has made it the best experience ive had at dealership while having a vehicle worked on. No hesitation to pick of the phone to update you on whats going on. He is willing to help where other dealerships make it seem like you are bugging them for being there.

My wife and I had a trailer wiring issue on the road home from Florida to Michigan on a Saturday and googled nearest Ford dealer and found Daltons and they were open on a Saturday. Pulled in and was met by multiple sales and service personnel asking how they could help us. They got the new style fuse out of box that I struggled with ( wedged in really tight from factory.) They didnt have the right exact size fuse but did have a slightly smaller one they did the trick. And simply gave me the fuse as I had already had enough problems and they just wanted to help me out! That is customer service to the highest degree. Everyone was pleasant and personable and made our day with that simple gesture. If I lived anywhere near them I would be sure to give them a shot, Im sure they would take care of their customer after the sale. Thanks again.
Amazing experience all around. Starting on their website and receiving attentive assistance from Samantha. She made follow up calls driving my rainy 1 1/2 hour drive to ensure my safety. She connected me with Ricky Howe for my test drive. Ricky went above and beyond in many ways throughout my experience. He had the vehicle ready and was very knowledgeable about the specifics of that SUV. He is a family man and wanted to make sure this vehicle was the best fit and safest for my 16 year old daughter. Ricky made the paperwork for purchase efficient. He even came in on his day off to ensure the vehicle was cleaned, up to all safety standards and ready for delivery. Additionally impressive, he called to ensure that my daughter was happy! The management staff was also friendly and engaging. The experience made you feel like you were dealing with family. We brought the vehicle in for interior panel repositioning. Evidently the panel clips had broke. This was a very arduous correction and it took a full day. While in the process of having this fixed, the service department also noted a recall on the transmission cooler, which they were able to get the part changed simultaneously. Therefore we got the vehicle back and everything was completed timely, especially considering the circumstances. Omar Mejia was very accommodating and thorough professionally, which made our service visit an exceptional one. Thank you!

But the issue I have is making them scratch there heads … and been waiting on Ford to step up to give them direction.And the process has been slow . And I was promised a supervisor at Ford would call me in 24 to 48 hours about the truck issue . That was on 2/4/2022. And it’s 2/10/2022 now smh. They need to replace this vehicle issue has been scenes 4000 miles and I’m at 44,000 and still having issues and on my 3rd set of tires.Ford did tell me to reach out to another dealership and get them to look at it with a fresh set of eyes. So I called Chatsworth Ford and told them the story and what’s going on. And if they could take my truck in and look at it with a fresh set of eyes . And I was told by the service guy that they didn’t wanna get involved . And turned me down. At Chatsworth Ford.
My husband and purchased a 2021 Ford Ranger in April and traded his 2016 Ford . The negotiations went along great and the salesman very very nice but of course he wanted to make a sale. We put $2,000 down with the reminder to be paid the next day along with the title. We said we would be down at 10 a.m. but were delayed and didnt get there till 10:40. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by our salesman twice with did you bring the title, did you bring the check. Not good morning, not how are you, etc. He didnt seat us. He was rude and didnt spend much time explaining all the bells and whistles to us. He kept looking over his shoulder for another client I figured. I had purchased a 2020 Ford Escape in October and was treated great. Dont know if we will recommend or buy from Ford of Dalton again.
Overpriced on everything. Used cars and there service department. $2200 dollars they tell me to replace AC evaporator in my truck. Called another mechanic in dalton Gracias auto repair they would do it for $400 and cost of part. Only good thing I can say about this place is the employees were friendly.
I have amended my stars to 4 from 2. I previously had a vehicle serviced and the issue that was addressed came back within a week after having repairs made. When I enquired about it, I was told there would be further diag and more money to be paid. That aside, I have bee. Speaking with the service department about other jobs and they have always been very helpful, and seem to be able to answer the phone most of the time when I call in for an update. Generally good and friendly service with a good turn around time as well.
Brought in my 2021 F-150 Ranch to diagnose a roar that just developed on the passenger side. I was ask if I had and appointment and I responded no, it just started over the weekend. Omar said you can leave it and itll be a couple of days before we can get to it. Two days for a diagnostic of the problem? I said Ill call and schedule an appointment for tomorrow as I dont want to drive the truck if there is something going out that would cause additional damage. Omars response It aint going to happen! Im not sure Ive ever had a service technician, manager, etc. be this rude!!
I’ve used Ford of Dalton multiple times now for service needs on my truck. The service staff is top notch, and the timeliness of the services provided is fast. Their technicians are knowledgeable and work diligently. Great dealership, and great services. I highly recommend.

I had an issue with the transmission, light was on and vehicle was shifting poorly. I contacted Ford Dalton and had an appointment very quickly, they took care of the car and changed the transmission control module. They told me it was free of charge as it was part of a recall even if my car was more than 7 years old. Great customer experience. Thank you!

Thanks again John you turned my 1 star into 5 with your premier customer service.Took our car there for a used car inspection. They told us there wasnt anything wrong with the car except the brakes were at 60% there was a little rust under the car and that the lugnuts to the tires were bad. Not even 24 hours later the car started misfiring (which was one of my concerns they noted before they looked at it) not even 2 days later a popping noise started in the front end when we made a sharp turn. We paid $120 for this inspection and it took a whole day for them to do the inspection. Im not sure if they even looked at it honestly. I would not reccomend bringing your car for something like this. Even if your car is a ford (ours is a ford explorer) if I could have chose 0 stars I would have
Ezekiel could not have been more helpful. He’s professional and will not apply unnecessary pressure to get a deal done. I had the opposite experience at another dealership and told him exactly what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. Fifteen minutes later, we were signing paperwork. Amazing experience and I absolutely love my new truck. As I type this, I just received a text from him asking if everything is good with the new truck. That level of service is hard to attain and Dalton Ford seems to do it effortlessly.
My most recent experience with the service department at Ford of Dalton was a much more positive one. In the past, I have been treated as if I don’t know what is going on with my vehicle. Yes, I am a female, but I know when something isn’t right. June 12, my airbag light came on in the dash of my Ford Explorer. Upon calling the service department, I was told I would have to come sit and wait a few hours. Having a two year old, I knew this was impossible. I was told by a gentlemen in the service department that “he knows bc he has kids too.” Okay, well help me. My husband and I bought a wonderful warranty plan that pays for a rental car. My husband made some phone calls and I was told to bring my car to the dealership and they would make it right. Upon arrival I met a different gentleman than who I previously spoke with, named Omar. (Not sure on spelling) He was great. Super respectful, understanding, and truly listened to what I had to say. He even helped me move my car seat to a loaner vehicle. He told me he didn’t have kids, but he understood that waiting three hours at the dealership wasn’t an option. Wow! He actually cared. He called me several times while my vehicle was being repaired to keep me aware of what was going on. He even stayed over time so that my vehicle could be returned the same day. (I needed my vehicle the next morning) I was so impressed with the service Omar provided. It was like no other I have received at this company before. I don’t want to mention names, but the guy who normally helps me has never helped as much as Omar did. I appreciated being listened to, understood, and cared about. This past experience was a much more positive one than the ones I have previously had. When I have a concern or problem with my vehicle, I will be asking for Omar in the future!
This Ford dealer’s service department is truly outstanding. They have a very effective “quick lane” and changed my headlight bulbs out very fast. They were polite, had a great waiting room and really were pleasant to deal with. I definitely would go back if needed. Solid people.
Took my vehicle to have it serviced and just waited on it. The employees were very nice and informative. It was a pleasant place to hang out while waiting on my vehicle. Before paying my bill, I was informed thoroughly of everything done. Definitely will use them next time.
I really enjoyed and appreciated the service at Ford of Dalton,from the first phone call to saleman,managers,owner, business office. I told them what I wanted and they found it at a better price than I said. There was no high pressure sales talk, either. I would definitely reccommend them and use them again!
Im doing this review to cover both of our vehicles. First of all when told to have the car there at 7am, I thought I had an early appt only to have my car moved out of the place it was parked across the parking lot . Thats fine for people going to work but Im retired and I dont get out that early.There were a couple of issues that needed to be addressed and at 315pm, they had only done one and wanted to keep it longer. I said no.I called during lunch and left a message for Omar to call me back, never called. If you have my car for 8 hrs and cant complete a transmission fluid change and CHECK under heath for a fluttering noise. Not fix just check and see where its coming from. We were to swap vehicles and leave my husbands truck for a transmission fluid change, rear end dope, and antifreeze change. We refreshed what he wanted done right before we left. they only did 2, did not change the rear end fluid.They is the 1st time weve used the service dept since in was Brooker. The service has really went down. Not sure we will be back for anything more than a tire rotation. Better service at the Quick Lane!
This was my first time getting my new truck serviced and my first time using Ford of Dalton for service. The service was quick but I wish the person who first helped me would have taken a few minutes to help me understand what my options for service were. Where I normally go getting my vehicle serviced automatically meant I got a tire rotation, fluids checked etc. But since I did not specify that I antes ‘the Works’ I did not get the tire rotation that I needed.
I have had a wonderful experience at Brooker Ford. All the way from the sales team and managers to the service department. We bought our F150 here and everyone was awesome and friendly. Ron, the manager, was extremely helpful and even told us about the truck which had just been traded in that day. Finance was quick and easy, the fastest I have ever been in and out of a dealership in my life. Mr. Brooker is usually around as well and is always greeting us with a smile. We love everyone here from the front desk on! I have since had our truck serviced as well. They have really helped us out in the service department. I have actually started bringing all of our vehicles here now. I had called the Nissan store on some work on our other car and it was about 400.00 more than what Brooker Ford charged us. If customer service is important to you and you like a home town feel, you will love Brooker Ford as much as we do. Highly recommended.

We sent our Ford Fusion Hybrid into the repair shop so they could fix a recall for us. When we got it back, it was like we were given a completely new vehicle. The gear shift doesn’t work properly, there’s odd noises coming from under the hood that are stumping us, and they didn’t put the front bumper back on right. We took it in a second time to try and get it fixed, but they literally would not listen to neither my husband nor my roommate about what was wrong with it. They didn’t even try to fix it a second time. They were being homophobic towards my roommate and acted as if he didn’t know anything about cars, and he knows more than we do. Do NOT do business with these unprofessional workers. We’re going to a different ford dealership to hopefully get this fixed, because this is ridiculous.

Mike the used car manager is a solid guy and takes care of customers.The truck I night had a window issue and Lynn and Mark in service worked very hard to repair the issue.It was frustrating but out of their control, sales and service worked hard to take care of me during this and ensure I was happy.
We were able to find exactly the vehicle we were looking for with exactly the driver area configuration we wanted. Comfort was a major factor as we were moving from a Lincoln Town Car to this new vehicle.We wound up purchasing a one-year-old program car rather than new, at a great price.
I have been coming to have my car serviced for years and I could not ask for better people from Brad Smith who helped me with an issue I had and actually explained everything to me in terms that I understood. And in the Quick Lane there is Michael Morgan that you meet right off the bat. He has amazing customer service skills !! I actually was in there and complained about my windshield having smears on it from the car wash, he took it upon himself to clean it!!! I took my 2012 F-150 for not starting. I had been to Mountain View 3 different times for this problem.1) Could not duplicate.2) Replaced ignition3) Said there was water in the kick panel.The last trip they kept it for one day short of three weeks. Each time I tried to reach the service writer (Troy) he was no where to be found.1 trip to Dalton and the tech tested for signal down to the starter. Replaced starter. Doing fine so far.
Bad experience with this dealer today at the Quick Lane / Service area. I purchased an F-150 from this place back when it was Brooker Ford. Good experience back then. It has since changed to Ford of Dalton and I have noticed a difference. When I bought my truck I purchased a car care service plan (dont do this like I did - they get their money up front and then try to stick you with something later). Brought my truck in today for a simple oil change and was given an ETA of 1 hour. No problem yet. I walked down the street to get lunch and took my time (actually came back an hour and a half later) and they had not performed my oil change. I asked what my new ETA was and was told that they could not change the oil because my oil pan gasket was leaking. It was just wet it was not dripping. I have no oil in my driveway and no evidence of a major leak so I cannot understand why they did not change my oil. Of course they offered to repair the leaking gasket but could not give me an estimate until I went to the service department and spoke with someone else. So I took my ticket next door and asked them for an estimate and 15 minutes later maybe more the guy comes back with a $740 price for parts and labor. Who has $740 to spend on replacing a gasket? My oil was never changed. In total, two hours wasted for nothing. I was polite the whole time, but I was absolutely livid when I left. I honestly believe their goal was to anger me so I wouldnt come back and redeem any more of my service tickets. Mission accomplished, Ford of Dalton.
Don’t trust anyone at this dealership!!! I found a used vehicle on their website which had no pictures. After submitting an online request for info I was contacted by an internet sales rep who had a sales rep send me some pics. After getting the pics I called back to the dealership and got them to give me the “finalized “ price with tax and fees. I agreed to the price and informed the used car manager that I wanted the vehicle pending a quality test drive. I informed him I was driving 4.5 hrs to his dealership and didn’t want the car sold before I arrived. He told me a sales rep would call me to get a deposit to hold the car and I agreed. I asked for some more pics of the engine and under carriage. He told me the sales rep would get them for me. An hour past and no call from the sales rep. I called back to the dealership and spoke to the used car manager again. I again told him I was driving 4.5 hrs and didn’t want any issues so I needed to do the deposit and needed those other pics. He assured me that he would hold the vehicle and the pics would be coming. I received the pics and we drove 4.5 hrs to arrive at the dealership and find that the vehicle had an abs light and the traction control light on the dash. So this vehicle has something wrong with the abs and the traction control and neither the sales man nor the sales manager felt that was important enough to notify me about before I drove 4.5 hrs to the dealership. When I asked the sales manager about the lights after the test drive he told me that the vehicle is sold as is. I understand the vehicle has no warranty but not to inform someone of these items before you drive 4.5 hrs to a dealership is extremely unprofessional and makes me think you shouldn’t trust anything they say. After I voiced my displeasure with them not providing me this info before I drive half a day to their dealership the sales manager informed me it would be two days before he could have a mechanic look at the lights to diagnose the issue. Way to go Dalton Ford!! It’s dealers like you that make people not trust car dealers and car salesman.
The service department is a pleasure to deal with. I took my truck in to have a recall done and and a small leak looked at. The technician called me and wanted to know exactly where to look for it at so he could get it fixed. The service manager is also pleasure to deal with. Very good experience
Did not visit as the girl on the phone was not knowledgeable on the products available. Pricing not known, models in stock not known, basically a warm body pushing everyone into the show room. I hate dealerships that are not up front and have people answer sales calls that have no knowledge of the product.Ended up calling marshal mize ford which gave me all details including best price over the phone. With that service level I showed up to Marshal Mize the next day and bought the car I had called to inquire about.
The staff at Dalton Ford is amazing ! I moved away to South Carolina for a year and now back. I needed my oil changed , but went for The Works. The service I got at Dalton Ford was incredibly better than any in South Carolina. From the time I walked in the door until the time I drove off the lot, I was treated with respect, the work was efficient , and the time it took to be served was maybe an hour on a Friday morning. I will continue using Dalton Ford.
Ford of Dalton has great customer service. My car was making a strange noise on my way to Nashville from Atlanta and the kind folks at Ford of Dalton got me back on the road within the hour! They were so nice and really saved the day! I am truly impressed and grateful. Also, a huge thank you to David!
Ive been using this dealership for many years for maintenance of my vehicles. The difference Ive noticed is several employees walked by while I was working in the waiting room and asked if I needed anything. The effort everyone took to make my experience good while there is very much appreciated.
My wife and I came here to look at new cars but it was toward the end of the day when these guys were about to go home. They were gracious enough to stay and help us in purchasing the new car that day (or rather that night). Thanks goes to the great and professional team at Ford of Dalton for helping us with the purchase of our new car. We love it!
There defiantly salesman they could sale you your own pair of shoes so brace yourself bring your wife so. She can keep you straight. So you dont do anything stupid I did but it didnt help over all it was a good experience but now. I gotta figure out how Im going to get out of the doghouse
Well since you took the time to write me a review, Ill give mine.We called to make appointment to check out one of Ford of Dalton used vehicles. We arrived the sells representative wanted to show us other vehicles instead of the one my wife and I wanted to see. We asks questions about the other about the orginal Ford Escape we wanted to look at. The sells representative said I dont know, and we lost the keys then tried to push on us vehicles that didnt have a clean carfax.However, that wasnt the main reason I give one star. The reason for such a poor star is your representative asking us how much money we had on us. My wealth is no ones concern as is personal information.We ended up leaving last week. My wife and I bought from Cleveland, TN Mazda dealership. We completely bought out Mazda6 self financing of course.As for Godzilla series while I am a fan of the series. Godzilla vs Kong is nothing special will end in disaster from human meddling and Hollywoods nerfing Godzilla *again. HahaAlso since you were so kind to attack and judge me via my reviews. My son took his 2011 F150 to Ford of Dalton to have a safety recall fixed.Safety recall for select 2011-13 Ford F-150 vehicles with 6-speed automatic transmission shift issues.Ford is issuing a safety recall on select 2011-13 Ford F-150 vehicles with 6-speed automatic transmission that may experience an intermittent loss of the transmission output speed sensor signal to the powertrain control module, potentially resulting in a temporary, unintended downshift into first gear. Depending on vehicle speed, a downshift to first gear without warning could result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.Ford is aware of five reports of accidents, including one report of “whiplash” potentially related to this condition.This action affects approximately 1.48 million vehicles in North America, including approximately 1.26 million in the United States and federalized territories and approximately 221,000 in Canada.Affected 2011-13 F-150 vehicles were built at Dearborn Assembly Plant, April 28, 2010 to Oct. 28, 2013, and Kansas City Assembly Plant, May 18, 2010 to Nov. 18, 2013.Dealers will update the powertrain control module software in the affected vehicles. My son’s truck has 169,000 miles on it.So I tried to get him to explain to me why it was going to cost $140 for him to diagnose the truck and he kept telling ,that it wasn’t still covered in the extended warranty. But he couldn’t make me understand why we were going to be charged $140 to diagnose the issue when the recall states thatThe Ford Dealership would diagnose the PCM for trouble codes and update the software. The conversation became heated and we both got mad at each other. I finally authorized him to diagnose it and update the software on the PCM and I would pay $140 when I got off work.So when I left work, I went to Ford of Dalton and asked for Omar. He gave me the keys and told me that he refused to do the recall. He also stated that he left me a VM about 30 minutes after I called advising me that he refused to service the the recall, but he didn’t. It’s not good having a car problem on vacation and the dealerships in the town (Chattanooga) refuse any assistance at all. So thankful we found Ford of Dalton who, although completely booked, fit us in and arranged for a rental for the day. Best experience buying a car hands down! Went in with a complicated situation and the finance manager, Shane, did everything he could to get me in the car that was right for me. Both of my vehicles were purchased at Brooker and the customer service and treatment was consistent. Their car salesman arent the stereotypical car salesman, they didnt chase me down, I wasnt harassed, but they answered any questions I had. A special thanks to car salesman Jeff, he was laid back and didnt rush my decisions and showed me all the options that I had avaliable. I am very pleased with the service department of the Ford dealership in Dalton, GA. My service advisor. Nathan Davis took my call, secured the necessary parts for the passenger side airbag recall. i had a problem with the driver-side interior door handle. I mentioned it when I called in. When I brought car in , I forgot to remind Nathan about it. But he remembered it and gave a quote. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you, Nathan.
Ford of Dalton was a relaxed, laid back experience. I didn’t feel pressure to buy and when I found what I wanted, they took their time explaining each step in the process since this was my first time buying a car. I am loving my Ford Escape and I recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to visit them.

Ive purchased many new vehicles over the years and I can truly say that this was the best buying experience by far. The sales manager, Jason gave me the true value of my trade without a bunch of back and forth (which is rare among dealers). The price, and vehicle that they advertised online was exactly as advertised. And most importantly, my salesperson Ezekiel was professional, knowledgeable, and very personable.Finally, when I went to sign all my paperwork there were no suprises from the finance manager Denise. She showed me my options, gave me recommendation, and didnt pressure me into anything that I didnt want.I can honestly say that I really felt good when I drove out of the dealership with my new car. Truck that we said we wanted was sold 5 minutes before we got there. Went anyway and were given their top salesman only to have him try and sell us something different than we wanted AND we had to teach him how to find things out about the vehicles he sells (towing capacity).
We had really good service here ! We had our tire blow out right in front of the shop and our spare tire didn’t work . Never has car-buying been easier! I’ve bought several new cars over the years from dealerships in the North Georgia area, and the process has always been drawn out and often painful ... until now that is. From initial contact and the application process with Sean, to locating the vehicle I wanted with the features I preferred, to finance and then delivery with Duke, it was ‘easy-peasy’ and VERY pleasant. Everyone seemed to like their job(s) and had genuine smiles on their faces. We bought our car from Jesse. He was patient with us and spent as much time as we needed to make a decision. We finally found the perfect one for us. I cant say enough about how good we were treated. The nicest people I met when traveling from Naples, Florida to Bend, Oregon. My tail lights and brake lights went out and I pulled into Dalton. I had to get a hotel and hope I xould get the issue fixed the next morningI went to Ford of Dalton and thank God I did.. These guys did everything they could to help me for over an hour and a half, and Im talking about the great guys in the parts department and Chris Jones, the service Advisor. Chris worked underneath my dash in the heat, discovered the problem and fixes my issue. I got back on the road to continue my move home. I tried to pay him but they refused. They could have easily ignored me but didnt. I highly recommend this dealer...fantastic people!
Im Daniel D. Jackson from Midway, Georgia, but Im known as Scrappy Jackson to most of my golfing friends in the fire and police departments surrounding Dalton. I have read most of the negative reviews of this dealership, and would like to share my positive experience. My bride (of 52 years) and I were traveling through Dalton while escaping Hurricane Mathew which hit our area pretty hard. She has health issues that required us to travel mostly during the day, and we were on our way to her brothers house in northern Tn, when we noticed a light on our dash indicating a tire problem about ten miles past Brooker Ford. I turned around and located this dealership and met Jeremy in the service department. I explained our situation and he said as soon as he got an open bay he would take us right in. In just a short time one of his service techs came out to talk to us, and suggested we put the car up on the rack. He painstakingly checked each tire for punctures, nails and air, and discovered two tires with lower than normal air. Since there was no indication of damage to the tires, and I had just purchased the tires the week before Mathew, we surmised the tires were near under-inflation during the install, and the sudden change of weather from warm to cold overnight contributed to the problem. We had left my cousins house that morning about 45 miles back. He inflated the tires and rechecked for leaks and discovered none. He reset the calibration and waited to make sure the light didnt come on again. He and a co worker both re-inspected the tires again and decided we would be okay to get on the road again. Everybody we dealt with at this dealership was friendly, caring, and professional, and, although we offered, they wouldnt take any payment for their service. Weve had no further problems with the light coming on after having driven close to 1,000 more miles during changing weather patterns. Our thanks to Brooker Ford Lincoln for their service. I intend to stop in and see them again to personally thank them next year when I return for the Georgia Police and Fire Games to be held in Dalton during the 3rd week of June.
Will not be using these guys again . A tech got in my truck and stole my debit card and made a purchase. So I traced it down to find out who did it and called the mgr . On first call he didn’t to seem to care that I was out of money . He just didn’t want a bad review . So I thought about it and sent him a email then the owner called . He made it right . But it’s sad it had to get to him
I had the privalage of financing my first vehicle here at Brooker Ford. I was a little worried about it because: Im 21, First time Financing, out of sate, and was working in another sate. That being said It was absolutely no problem at all for the gentleman here getting me taken care of. Im confident these guys can handle any situation you throw at them. They were very diligent and treated me like Ive known them my entire life. Im extremely happy that my first time financing a new vehicle went this well. Absolutely the best service I have ever had! I bought my tires here @Dalton Ford on August 24th 2018 while on a trip. I live in Pennsylvania and on January 12th 2019 I had a blowout on the freeway going 70 miles. I called Dalton Ford first thing Monday morning to explain what happened and how we could get this problem fixed since I dont live in Georgia. I spoke with the service manager and the first thing he said was he would replace the tire! He had me take it to the Ford dealership I use here in Pennsylvania. I simply gave them all his info and that was it! I didnt have to pay for anything! I have never had such an easy non complicated issue taking care of a problem ever! This dealership is the best and I am referring my niece to them when she graduates from Dalton college in May, she wants a new SUV. I would recommend Dalton Ford to anyone. I stopped by today with simple question about a TPMS issues with my truck. After talking to the manager of the quick lane Morgen. He quickly came out and took and look at my truck and had my issue fixed in just a couple mins. This is excellent customer service. Thanks Dalton Ford!
My husband and I were in need of a car after ours died on us. We decided to try Ford of Dalton to see if they could help and that they did! Our salesman, Byron, really went to bat for us and made the process much less stressful. We were able to get into a used 2017 Escape and we love it!!There was a slight issue with the right front tire while we were test driving the car on Saturday so Byron came and picked it up for us on Monday and Ford took care of the issue. Wonderful customer service!!We highly recommend Ford of Dalton and Byron!!
Friendly staff, but vehicle purchased was not completely looked at for quality control. A couple things I I have to fix now.Update: Bad door switch and communication module. Have to now gi to Dodge for repairs. Should have been discovered by Ford of Dalton before selling vehicle.

2022-02-16Best place to buy a vehicle from! Ezequiel was so helpful from the beginning. Everyone has a smile on their face! And they are not overbearing and pressuring you with anything! They helped me get the car I’ve wanted since I was a kid and did everything they could to accommodate! My family and I have been to a couple other places to look at cars but something just didn’t feel right about buying from anyone else. We have used Ford for years and we will continue to do business with them! You won’t be disappointed with this crew! Everyone from the dealers, to the managers, to the financial team are amazing! 2022-06-29I had a recall on my Escape , took in , didnt have waiting services so I was to leave over night. Stated that was not mentioned to me. The service department made an exception had my car done within the hour. 😃Then the following week my car stopped working and had to tow it back to Ford dealer to fix. After the fact, it was not working for the recall service wasnt correctly done. Ford fixed my car no charge, and apologized for everything. Ford made it right. TY Ford 😊
