1. Great Park with a awesome water feature2. In the center of Atlanta3. Great food in the parkThis park is amazing. This would be a great place for anything from a family outing, work out session, meditation to a romantic date. This place is ideal for cooling off during the summer because unlike other fountains you are encouraged to get in and get wet! Be sure to have a towel on standby and if you dont no worries you can walk through the park and air dry.☑️Five Stars
Kids enjoy playing in the Fountain of Rings in Centennial Park. But, I think thats true of other fountains as well.As an adult, I didnt see much difference between it and other fountains Ive seen elsewhere when I visited on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. The Olympic rings are a nice touch. But I didnt recognize the Olympic rings until I looked at the base of the fountain instead of the streams of water. A more observant person might appreciate its unique beauty and symbolism more.I do think it is worthwhile for persons visiting downtown Atlanta to take at least a few minutes to walk through Centennial Olympic Park and to view the fountain as part of that walk. But kids will likely enjoy the fountain more than adults, even if they dont appreciate its link to the Olympics. And they might give it five stars.
Located at the south end of Centennial Olympic Park in downtown, the Fountain of Rings is a fountain, as you might expect, in the shape of the Olympic rings. Its basically a flat concrete plaza and during the warm months, jets of water shoot out of the ground in various patterns and kids (and more adults than you might think) play in it. They also do a couple of choreographed water and song shows, the ones at night also incorporating lights. If youre visiting the city with family youre probably going to be right by it anyway since its located in the middle of CNN, the College Football Hall of Fame, the Georgia Aquarium, and World of Coke so adding this to your list is no trouble.
I watched this being built in 1995,when living a bicycle ride away..by 1996 it was alive with culture and beauty like Atlanta hadnt seen before. A GREAT place to take the kids- summer for a cool off spot& winter for the lovely holiday lights...all year round many activities! Best part is : Its Free!
I havent been in a couple of years. But, when I did go. I really enjoyed it with friends and my play nieces. Now that I have two grandkids of my own. I feel better about taking them there. The pools arent as clean as they use to be. They get to eat, play, laugh, and see a part of history. The park is also surrounded by so many other landmarks and places for them to enjoy. I highly recommend the experience. Have a safe and blessed Summer
The fountain is super fun to take your children without spending and if you arrive after 9 pm it has a spectacular light show, you will not regret walking through this commemorative park of the atlanta olympics. Where sadly there is only the name of bernardo safe bronze medalist in the 20 km march

2022-05-15The park is always a really nice place to go hang out with family and friends on a pretty day. There’s plenty of history to see in the park. The water features are nice to look at but are currently closed to the public. The fountains are going but the kids can’t get in and play on the splash pad Fountain of Rings.

2021-05-25Lovely water fun in swim suits and swim trunks. Unfortunately the fountain is currently closed due to covid. We had some other entertainment for a little while. Had to. Parking was $20

2018-04-29I would love to give this a five star rating, but the homeless people begging for money are thick here. It really makes it hard to enjoy your time in the park.

2019-07-10Came here on a Sunday afternoon after a visit to the aquarium and decided to sit on one of the benches under the trees and just people watch.Such a peaceful place with the sounds of children playing in the fountains and so many folks from all walks of life milling around. Felt totally safe and was a great place to just sit and chill and enjoy life.

2018-11-19Beautiful park. Located near the ferris wheel and the Aquarium. Lots of benches under trees to sit abd relax. Very clean splash pad for kids of all ages. Great place to spend a day.We were there on a Monday morning so it was not crowded at all. At noon there was an amazing show where the fountains performed to music. We enjoyed watching it while eating our picnic.
