Excellent! Food was hot and fresh. I had one of the best cheeseburgers Ive ever had at this location, crispy edges on the patties were perfect. And the shake was great as well.
You have to watch them closely. We have bought a quart there twice and when we got home it was half full. I know everyone is struggling with staffing but goodness this is robbery.
Freddies is the perfect combination. Its short order and frozen custard. Theyve sundaes, cones, floats, amazing patty melts, onion rings, and skinny fries.The servers at this location have always been super friendly. The space is also easily wheelchair accessible.Vegetarians will not do well here and theres almost nothing vegan.Still, what a great, clean, place.

Dining room closed for over a week, due to lack of employees. Service from the ones that are there is horrible. Items were thrown into the bag and concrete was already melted.
Really good burgers and fries, and theyre custard was oh so good! Its too bad they dont have one closer to our home in Florida. Id be going there all the time

I actually enjoyed this location! The food was pretty good, great dessert options and the service was great as the food came out straight away! I would come up to try another custard sundae as they were delicious with a good layer of chocolate on the bottom! It is a good date location!
The inside and the bathrooms was not clean. For our to go order they forgot our fry sauce, napkins, and straws. My burger was not the same as other Freddys Ive been to before. The fries and onion rings was very fresh though.
Love Freddys but this visit was not good! Ordered through the drive through and was the only one in line. After paying the girl that took my order and was flirting with a coworker walked outside with that coworker. I sat there for 15 minutes while 5 or 6 other employees congregated by the window but never checked to see if I needed anything. I watched as one of what appeared to be a manager in a black shirt back at where the burgers are put together and saw him open a burger and flip through it with his fingers. He was not wearing gloves and had been touching other things in the restaurant. I also noticed trash cans that were visible from the drive through overflowing with trash and fries and other things on the floor. I finally got another girls attention in the drive through and got my money back and left. Very disappointed!
This is my first visit to Freddys and I was very impressed. The best way I can describe it is Steak N Shakes big brother. My French fries were good. I really enjoyed the fry sauce with them. The burger was a bit salty for my taste, but it was good burger. I would reccomend this place to anyone. I will go back and try a custard and a different burger. This location was very nice!

First time here. Burgers were good despite not one of our four orders being correct. Straw fries were good but I lived the cheese curds. We also got oreo custard sandwiches that were good but we had to pay almost twice as much because we didnt order them at the same time that we ordered the meals. Even though our meals were still being prepared, they could not adjust the price.
Tables were dirty, but food and custard was great and hit the spot.

It was our first time at Freddys and here is my honest review. 3 meals and a kids mail for 33 bucks wasnt that bad. My son enjoyed his chocolate shake that came in a cute mini version for a reasonable price and I enjoyed the skinny fries. The steak burger was tastier than Steak and Shake for sure. Seasoned well. Excellent service! I might not eat here as often but it was good all in all

Loved it, old fashion smash burger, they put the exact items on it I asked for. They know the difference between a hamburger and a cheeseburger, thank you. I have dairy allergies and always order a hamburger and all other resturants almoet always put cheese on my burger anyway, well Freddies is Accurate, bless you. Killer onion rings !

Id never been to a Freddys and it was great! The staff was so very friendly. The burgers were great. The fries were a bit odd to me, but they tasted good. Good for putting on the burger too! It was the best milkshake Ive had in a while. Looking forward to going back!

This is the absolute worst burger joint I have ever been to. My food was saltier than the Pacific Ocean and at the very least, was not even hot. The population of flies didn’t even want to touch my food if that doesn’t say enough. Custard was dripping everywhere when we received it and it was super over priced. Save your money and time, if you want quality burgers and custard, go to Culver’s. I highly recommend their butter burgers, or Even Steak ‘n Shake at least.
The dining room was a mess with food and garbage on the floor. One garbage can was overfill. Several male employees with l8ng hair without a hair net or hat. Our order was completely incorrect. My family and I should not have eaten there!
After evening summit hikes, I go to my favorite place next door, for healthy super nachos, and they were closed. Freddys was open.First Freddys experience ever.I too loved the mix of classic pop music + contemporary play list!Had a slaw dog of sort. Fries are shoestring thin perfectly cooked. Fry oil fresh!Staff friendly, respectful.This area in general anywhere is well planned, and executed, as in spacious lots not even a cigarette butt, kind of outdoor clean. Hats off to developers, investors, and Cartersville. Making it my favorite place for Kroger and Willys.This Freddys and the new one at Kennesaw near that mountain, are likely the 2 best Freddys anywhere in the region.If my choices are Steak Shake or Freddys, I now know I will choose Freddys every time. But S&S is open very late and an option arter 10p.
Ordered two strawberry shakes... Received one vanilla and one with only enough strawberry to notice seeds, definitely not enough to call it a strawberry shake (or change the color of the custard). I asked if there were strawberries in the first shake (as it definitely appeared to be vanilla only) and the girl at the window replied, It has strawberries in it, I promise. So after the second shake came out looking like vanilla only, I checked them both in the parking lot to be sure. Only one of them had any hint of strawberries. No big deal if youre out of strawberries, but say so when I order and dont charge me for them. I no longer trust Freddys to get my order or my bill correct... Definitely didnt get what I paid for today and Freddys isnt cheap
I recently moved to the area and after grocery shopping I noticed Freddy’s. I decided to get a bacon double cheese steak burger and specifically asked for no onion. The employee called the order back correctly. When I got home I realized the burger had no bacon, no cheese and extra onions. While waiting the girl and the window was glued to her phone and even left to get a charger. Tried to call the store but didn’t get an answer. Not a good start for a new resident of Cartersville.
We stopped by on our way home from vacation. The Double Burger with Bacon was great and the chili cheese Frys was alro really good. We couldnt try the custard because they had ran out. Very good all around
Went there a few weeks back, and I wasnt impressed at all. My significant other found the yellow dispense button(for the nacho cheese machine I guess). It was literally laying in her bed of chilli cheese fries. That was disgusting and proves the employee that made her stuff didnt care to notice. Also I found at least 2 onion skins on my burger. Which was hard and made me put the rest of my burger in the garbage. Back to steak and shake I go!
It was fine, nothing special, food decent, average wait time
+/- 12:15PM. Only one in drive through. Ordered a double cheese Burger with NO bun and No Salt and second cheese Burger with No salt through the drive through. Told him 3 times No bun, No Salt. Picked up the full order of burgers, fries and drinks (_20+ $$), drove off and when digging out the burger boxes we had two burgers WITH buns. That means they probably ignored the No Salt request as well. Both Health Issues, Celiac and Heart Failure. I had told him 3 times No bun because she is long term Celiac and No Salt. 2nd trip here in 18 months, mistake. Big sign out front telling dining room is open. Sign on door at handicap parking listing reduced hours open. Pulled on door, locked of course. IQs of a Shoebox from franchise owner down.

Freddys always has great food. The double cheese steakburger with bacon was a great pick me up after a long drive from Florida to Chattanooga. And the Turtle sundae was out of this world. If you like milkshakes my wife got a small chocolate, that was like drinking a brownie.

I use to love freddys but whoever the management is now in the store is a bad manager. I went and order what I always order, and they make it perfectly. But tonight June 9th at 9:45 they waited until I get to the window to tell me they didn’t have any chili. The fries was cold with no seasoning on them. I asked for a large and my cup of fries was halfway full. I get home to look at my hotdog to find out my hotdog only got the bottom of the bucket of onions and it’s like 6 of them. And I guess they was running out of ketchup because this hotdog is pitiful. The crew on this night shift was disrespectful only because Ms.sandy wanted to rush and be on her phone.
Inside is configured for social distancing, employees are masked and behind Plexiglas.That said, the food is great. Crispy edges on the steakburgers, perfect bacon, great toppings. Service was top notch and speedy. Desserts are out of this world, bring frozen custard. Yum!
Ate here about a week ago. Staff were oblivious and were walking around pointlessly. Food was overpriced for what we got. Flies were everywhere and there was what I believe to be a roach crawling on the ice cream maker. First and last time at Freddy’s in cartersville.

Just a burger. A bunch of unmasked upper management guys standing around talking about covid-19. The associate helping me did a great job and chose to wear a mask. They were not even aware that the associate already tried to assist me and ask 5 minutes after.
I am already a big fan of Freddys (Im a FredHead), and this one was clean, not too busy, and my veggie burger combo was great. Also, they gave a ton of fries, more than Ive gotten at others.
It was nice a clean on the inside and the employees was nice and good customer service.

I had never been to a Freddys before and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Its like a better version of Steak N Shake or Dairy Queen. First off the service was great. All the women here were helpful and friendly. They smiled the whole time and frequently checked in on us. Something I would not have expected from counter service. The quality of the food was also good. My husband even commented on how my chicken looked like it wasnt dry or overcooked and was quality cut. We usually stop at the shopping center anytime we make a road trip out East. This is the first time we tried Freddys and will probably continue to make it part of our trips.

Early Sunday afternoon, I stopped by for a late lunch. I was asked to wait before ordering, paid $9 for a sandwich, fries and small soda, and waited again at the window for 8 minutes to receive my order. Fries were hot and fresh but the patty melt was dry. The meat was flattened to the point it wasnt a patty anymore.I know they can do better and their sundaes are out of this world. It might be a while before stopping by again.
My first (and probably only) time at this Freddys, as we were just passing through during our travels. As is always the case with Freddys, everything rocked, including the customer service! Bonus points that this location moved much faster than what Im used to. :)
Nice people but had many mistakes w our order. Patties were thin on the burger, lack of flavor on everything except the custard. The custard would be the only thing I would return for. The fries were terrible.
The chicken sandwich I had didnt have any flavor. At one point I looked to see how thick it was..Not very. Custard was good but expensive.
So I recently abandoned all hope for their competitor (steak n shake) decided to come give Freddys a try. Service was great! Food is definitely better than the other one especially the fries they actually put some seasoning on them. Havent tried the milkshakes yet but I will be returning so I definitely will the next time.
Food quality was great....service was terrible. Was there at 730 pm or so and was like corpses wandering around as employees..we were dining in and watching the staff was almost comical. They forgot an ice cream order supplied no spoons..our guests order came 10 minutes after ours...great food but you need to fire and re hire

When they are on, great service and great food at a good price with a very friendly staff. When theyre off... Its still good. Really, Ive never been disappointed. Its a step above steak and shake and a far better alternative to regular fast food.
Service was fast and accurate. Food highly reminiscent of Steak and Shake. Burgers very greasy, but little fries were good. Pepsi products here, which I like! Daughters patty melt was very greasy.

The frozen custard is amazing, leagues above any ice cream (aside liquid nitrogen ice creams). The burgers are very greasy, but a great quality for the price. The service is fast and polite. I’m not sure how the stake n shake across the street survives with this competition. Better steak burgers, better frozen products, faster service, and an all and all better experience. It’s good enough to justify and hour drive.
Food was good.. a little salty for my taste but still hot fresh and made the way I wanted it. Good presentation as well.. prices are high for a burger place. If i had go compare I would say its a more expensive steak and shake.

This is an ok place its very much like steak and shake but with less menus choices. The burgers are bigger than the other place but also about twice the price and instead of milkshakes they serve frozen custard. The dinning area was clean for the most part. Id have given it 4stars if I could have heard everyone talk clearly but because they cheaped out and didnt put ceiling tiles in everything turns muffled including the cashier and also the people calling out the ready orders. Ok place overall, way to expensive for what you get, Ill probably stick with the other place lol

Magnificant!! Took grandaughter to meet for lunch, it was her birthday. 1st time she has been there. She loved it. They brought her a custerd icecream as a birthday surprise. They were so nice, and food was delicious!!
Great burger and fries. A few tables needed to he wiped down. No other guests when I arrived. When I walked in, I did see an employee laying down in a booth. I believe he was off duty and perhaps waiting on a ride. He was there a short time but not professional for a staff to take a break or wait for a ride like that.
I little too over priced. Custard is amazing.I came in with my service dog and was asked very invading questions that do not comply with the ADA.gov guideline. Please educate your staff
First time in this chain, it was very clean, food was fresh, liked the special dipping sauce. Very similar food to Steak and Shake. Service was friendly and fast. Not many in our area but will most likely visit again when I have the chance.
We waited a little while after paying as there was a shift change.First time trying Freddy’s and we were excited.We got our patty melts... opened them up and the were thrown in a box completely fallen apart. Like they didn’t fit so the tore it apart and threw it in.Still excited to try it - We pieced it together it was burnt tasting.Bummer,Disappointed customer
About a week ago, I was charged twice for the same meal. So I walked in and explained to the manager what had happened and she was SUPER nice. I mean she was fantastic! She totally understood what happened, didn’t get rude, didn’t throw an attitude at me, nothing. Got it all sorted out and helped me with a smile. I commend her. I think her name was Nikita (?). She was awesome! I will definitely be returning because of her! Thank you!
Good food, the custard is very good. The person i was eating with described it as A milkshake that was thickened back up.The prices are a bit high and its tough competition when there are a full 4 similar burger bars within a mile radius but its still a good place.

I have eaten at this place before and really enjoyed it. This time, I had their dbl cheese burger and i dont know what happened, but it was just awful ! It just wasnt only the grease, but the whole dang thing was so salty that i couldnt even enjoy it.
Just like a Steak and Steak but more expensive. The employee that waited on us was awesome. I ask the employee if their shakes were good, and the employee stated they had rather have a Steak and Shake shake because they were cheaper and just as good. I love honest employees and this one deserves a raise!!! Freddys food was good but you can get the same thing at Steak and Shake for $2 a meal cheaper.
I had a terrible experience. The staff was fantastic, but the food was sub par and the restaurant smelled like raw sewage.Not to mention, the food was ridiculously expensive. Save yourself the experience and go to the steak and shake across the street. Its literally the same food (if not better) for half the price.There is absolutely no redeeming quality.

Sooo good. Food was made to order. I liked the sauces and seasoning salts too. It really gave the food a nice flavor and made it a little different from what you get everywhere else. You could tell everything was fresh and the restaurant was clean. This was our first time in but I know it wont be our last.
Friday 7pm fry’s burnt ,no sweet tea and food all over the floor. Very dirty and no service. Sorry but this was disappointing.

My church group went on a Sunday night after service. There were about 25 or more in our party. They did great getting our food to us in a timely manner. Food was good, ice cream was good too. Will be going back!
Ive been going to this location about 2 years now compared to Marietta store, I continue to return to Cartersville instead because of their customer service and great food. They have been constant on just about every order and maybe I can recall one time I had to return one order but they returned my order fresh. I definitely highly recommend Cartersville store versus Marietta store on Dallas Hwy.

Everything was delicious! The patty melt, the cheeseburgers, the hot dogs. They give you a generous portion of shoestring fries topped with a delectable seasoning. There is this awesome French fry sauce. The frozen custard concretes are to die for!
Average fast food. Burger was too salty but the hotdog was good. The fries are a joke. Like match sticks. I think Ill stick with other burger chains in the future.

Their sundaes and shakes are excellent. The wait in the drive through was very long and the sundae we ordered was more like a shake. They need a way to deal with this as I wont go through their drive thru again.
Everything was delicious its just to expensive. It was almost $50 for 3 people.

At 4:30 pm on a Saturday waited at the order station for over 5 minutes without any of the employees even acknowledging our existence. There we several more families behind us in line. We finally gave up and went across the street to Steak-n-Shake where we were greeted immediately with a smile. What an amazing difference good people can make in the success of a business.
It took FIFTEEN minutes (as measured by car clock) to get out prefer through drive through, with only one car ahead of us.
The food is good, the milkshakes are great. I expect to spend more on a milkshake than they are worth, but almost $5 for 14 oz. And to top it off they didnt even have whipped cream and a cherry.
Its not the most authentic custard, but the burgers are decent (not five guys good, but good) and the staff is helpful. Is it my first choice, no. But no fast food spot is my first choice. Though if you would like a sweet treat, this is a good choice.
Service is so lacking. Always seems like their in training. Today the kid at the register wasnt on duty yet, didnt call for someone else to take our order but asked to wait a second which is 8 minutes. Its something everytime we come here. Last time we were sent away because the register was down and they couldnt ring up food so basically there was food sitting in the restuarant but they couldnt sell it or serve it. On a positive note, its clean and when you can get food and or service its good.
Food is Quality, but the store seems constantly dirty. Staff are a hit or a miss, you either get a friendly and helpful cashier or an annoyed one. Either way, i was slightly disappointed with the cleanliness and demeanor of some of the staff
I love this place. Trina is such a fabulous manager. Made me feel right at home. The rest of the staff is pretty upbeat and welcoming too..... But the food!!!! So yummy! Will be back like Arnold.
Fantastic hamburgers. The fries are tiny which means you have to get a handful every dip. But the fry dipping sauce is UH-MAY-ZIIING! If u like it hot try it with the jalapenos in it!!

This was my 1st time eating at and discovering Freddys. I stopped on an exit to get Chic fil a and after seeing it was further than expected I decided to stop here. Even though its a steak burger spot I decided to get a grilled chicken sandwich. Ingredients were fresh, the meal was hot and the chicken was moist. The fries reminded me of steaknshake but better! They actually had seasoning. Note: No condiments come on the chicken sandwich as is, so I wish I was offered some but nonetheless it was a pleasant healthy meal that did the job. I would stop by here again for a quick bite on my way to Atlanta. Ill try their steak burgers and desserts next time around.

Enjoyed my black bean burger cooked to perfection . I had visited a location in Jacksonville Florida and it was just as good. It was one hour from closing and everyone was helpful, nice clean and the best part to be able to see your food being prepared everything appeared to be clean and covered its not far from the freeway I recommend you checking them out

The burger had a good flavor but the fries were crunchy like potato chips. But the worst part is that I sat in the drive thru line behind only one car for a total of 18 minutes. That is totally unacceptable.

This was my first visit to Freddys and probably my last. I went through the drive-through and bought a single hamburger combo. The hamburger was so thin and had been cooked so long that it was crunchy and had no flavor. I also did not like the tiny shoestring fries which may have been better if I had eaten at the restaurant. Guess Ill never know.
Nice people.... hubby liked his food. I had to watch him eat. Not weight conscious friendly. 😣 salads with dressing people can eat would be nice. Seriously frustrated. I waited at least 25minutes in line to get a cold sandwich. I paid for cheese and asked for certain condiments on my sandwich... which I didnt get. I do not recommend this restaurant because I was hung up on when I called to tell them they had gotten my order wrong.

Waited 12 minutes in line before getting to the window to be told that they were out of what we ordered. Neither one of the girls who took our order thru the speaker told us they were out. Wasted a good 20 minutes in line. Freddys Frozen Custard is not worth the wait. Try a frosty from Wendys or a shaved ice from Coconuts when in Cartersville instead. Better price, product and especially service elsewhere. Also agree, this place smells like grease all the time. Will ruin your clothes for the day if you go inside.Updated:Freddys management staff reached out to me and made things right. I received several emails as well as a phone call from the district manager apologizing for my bad experience. I give them huge props for this and this review is now a 5 star. Customer service goes a LONG way. We havent had any problems since and Freddys is now one of my daughters favorite places for a cold treat. Good job Freddys!

To start with the food taste great but the place stinks of garbage. Only two customers in the place but every table was dirty. No fry sauce. And when I got my chili dog it was upside down. Mr. Freddy please fix the problem before no on comes in anymore.
I hate to even give it one star... worse burger ever! super thin and dried out... a regular sized shake in one of the smallest cups Ive ever seen, and cost almost as much as the burger, and tasted mediocre at best. I was not impressed and will not be back.

Its fast food so you get fast food service, it was on the high end for service though. The food is awesome. The first Freddys I ate at was in San Antonio and I loved it. I was so glad when they got one here in Cartersville, GA.

There was no wait, friendly staff, the food was extremely salty. My gf said the same and I could here everyone else complain about it around me. It was so salty your tounge hurts after a few mins. Said something to the cashier and he said it happens and its one of the cooks..

The food is usually good this time it was ok and the boy that took our order had a major attitude and was very impatient. My daughter ended up not even ordering because of the way he was acting.
The location in Cartersville, GA was our first time a few years back. We were lucky to get a few locations in Central, FL. We enjoy Freddys over the competitors. The food is always fresh and hot.
Definitely gives a similar s&s a run for their money, their strawberry shakes are amazing as well as their bacon double cheeseburgers, it was all hot and fresh and delicious I would definitely stop by here again.
The guy taking our order was VERY rude he had one more time to roll his eyes and I would have slapped him. Kids sitting at table next to us threw up the workers just left it there so of course i was done eating after that happened..
This place used to be good but latley it has made me sick twice I dont know if rhey are not handling the food poirly or not washing their hands after using the rest room but i learned my lesson NEVER AGAIN!

After getting the worst service and rudest employees on earth I got up and left the horrible Steak ‘n Shake across the street. I would have chosen Freddy’s first anyway but I didn’t notice them. This was one of the best locations I have been to! I will be back.
There is no reason to come here over steak and shake, the burgers taste the same and the fries do too. Maybe if you liked Frozen Custard over milk shakes this place would be better for you.

The Steak burgers and fries are fantastic. This restaurant was very clean and well managed. All fast food restaurants should emulate Freddys.

This place is hit or miss when it comes to the hotdogs... That is unlike the location in Kennesaw on Barrett Pkwy.... Sometimes the hot dogs taste overcooked... I havent tried thr burgers as I expect them to taste like steak and shakes burgers (I could be wrong)... The custard ice cream is amazing though... But I really need my chicago style hot dog to be on point!

2022-02-19We ordered the California steak burger with fries and a Hawaiian sundae. Everything was delicious! Not one complaint about the food. We sprinkled the fries with seasoning and dipped in the spicy jalapeño sauce and the regular sauce and ate the sundae with our food. It was yummy. The only complaint was it’s a little pricey but we will definitely be back!

2022-04-20We ordered 2 large chocolate malts through the drive thru and yes they are large. They proceeded to hand us Boba straws for the shakes which I feel all shake or malt places should do. Their malt was so thick I even had trouble getting it through that big straw. It was so good and so very sweet I kind of wish I had just ordered a small and been done with it. Oh well, live and learn. It was a great malt and we enjoyed them!!

2022-06-12I ordered for the first time yesterday via Door Dash. Door Dash delivered to the wrong location despite the fact the name of my business was on the order & I asked for them to hand it to me. And they gave me a $10 credit on a $25 order with zero excuses. I called Freddy’s just to verify my order had been picked up by DD. The manager spoke to me & apologized (it was NOT his fault at all). He asked if I was nearby & that he would redo the order for me to pickup! Seriously, not his fault or Freddy’s. They had the order hit & ready for me and everyone was just so polite! Also, my hotdog & float were awesome!!Way to go Freddy’s for excellent customer service and shame on Door Dash for just sucking in general.

2022-04-12I introduced my girls to the great burgers & fries here after we hiked for 4 hours yesterday. The food is hot, quick, and delicious. I also ordered a sudae with hot fudge & cherries. I chose marachino cherries over pie-filling type but I was surprised to find all the cherries still had the stems on. The sundae was delicious but I had to get each cherry from under the ice cream & fudge to pick the stems off. With my hands. Kinda messy. Still delicious, though.Update: I was contacted by the company asking for further information, they also provided coupon(s) for free ice cream on my next visit. Excellent customer service !! Updating to 5 start, will definitely go again :)
