Service, Price, beer, food, parking all good. Met another couple here. Knew about it from a concert I went to last year. The concerts are held near by in the back of the PGA Super Store parking lot, not at the brew pub. Didnt have reservations but the hostess offered a table is we could finish in 2 hours. At 2 hours we were still socializing so they offered us 4 tickets to see the Journey tribute band Departure. A bit cold not being prepared, but it was a fun way to close out the evening. I definitely recommend From the Earth. Appetizers were good portions for sharing. I would like some Belgian style beers on the list for this 5 star review;)
Went for lunch with the guys. I had the Pimento cheese fritters, they were very good. It was about 4 in a serving. Then the double stack with fries, which was good. The fries were very tasty but the burger as lacking flavor. The setup is nice. They have a big screen and smaller TVs around. They also seemed to have some good adult drink options. This place could just as well be a spot to watch a game or have dinner with your spouse.
This is more of a restaurant with in-house beers. Not really sure convinced anything is brewed onsite. I didnt have any food, but the menu is not a brewery menu. The beer is okay. Not anything Id recommend for someone out of town as a must visit. If youre just getting into craft beer, maybe this is a good starter, but not a place to revisit. Service was great and the place was clean. They should probably drop Brewing Company from the name, if they want to be honest.
Anthony is an amazing server! A very relaxing energy. My boyfriend and I had a great time. He had nothing but good things to say about the menu. We got the cheese steak and pimento cheese fritters! I love good pimento cheese. He even suggested a dish for dinner and told us how it was cooked! We’ll definitely be back for dinner! They also have live bands around the corner!! 😍
Personally, this location is a go to. Yes, a bit on the pricey side, but not so much if you know how to order. If you dont, youll end up paying 9 dollars for a mediocre salad. They do have delicious options though. Theyve got beers they brew in house, and I hear theyre pretty good. Their house sodas are a great option for those who dont drink or like alcohol. One thing that really stood out to me at this restaurant was their double stack burger. Its a unique, savory experience that you couldnt find anywhere else. With bacon jam, arugula, pimento cheese, and more, its something worth trying. Overall, this is a somewhat expensive, yet good choice for a restaurant. Whether its for a special occasion, or a Friday night outing after a rough week.
I had been here before pre covid and it was DELICIOUS. The standout entree being the pimento cheese balls. So I went back expecting another great experience. I excitedly ordered the cheese balls again, only to be extremely disappointed. They were way too salty, and Im not a stickler about that. Then came the Nashville hot chicken.... Which wasnt hot.... And the sauce that came with it was way too sweet. The sweet potato mash had a weird sour taste to it like it was bad, and the risotto had no flavor. My friend had the chowder soup, very bland. We left extremely disappointed to say the least. Probably will not return.....not one entree or side was good.
What can I say, Im picky so there werent a lot of choices for me on the menu. I wound up with the shrimp scampi skillet app, which I loved, but I could have used more dipping bread. I also had a Monster Mash, which was a pumpkin spice beer. It was pretty heavy on the spice, but I do like that sort of thing.
What a great find! The beer, the service, the vibe, and THE FOOD!! All sourced directly from region, great variety, and cooked perfectly. Just moved to the area and checked this place out from someone’s recommendation. Had a great afternoon there on their patio, with some great friendly service from Anthony. Excited to go back and to look at their concert series
A seriously legit stop for those looking for a good selection of top quality ales of various styles. The atmosphere and staff are both warm, and provide a relaxing stopover for those traveling.Had a chance to try both an IPA and their Barrel aged porter that both met the mark for flavor and honestly good value.
There is no such thing as consistent coincidence. (My line, $5 to use)You will not get a bad meal here. Period. Beer is out of this world too. Can’t go wrong with appetizers, steak, chicken or shrimp! Be sure to ask for Kat & thank the Mgr Brian on your way out! (Photo: Pretzel Bites)***Update! A year later & still fantastic. Def recommend the fish & chips & osso buco!!!!***-Ask for Evelynn to serve you!!!
Nice selection of brews including a seltzer and cider. The ABV averages on the high side (7% roughly) but enough below that for lighter drinkers.Very good menu with variety for everyone (sandwitches to plates) while feeling like a fine restaurant and not a sports bar.The staff was great and didnt bust up our little family reunion even and hour after closing!
I absolutely loved this place. I got the shrimp scampi and the Rueban. I got so full off the shrimp scampi and the soft golden bread I took my ruebon home. Can’t wait to try their dinner options. It’s a little pricey but so worth it. Next time I’ll bring a date so they can pay for it lol.
Im a repeat visitor and always have a 5-star experience. The food, drinks, and service are always excellent. My favorite appetizer: the warm pretzel bites that come with the most delicious cheese dip. Their doublestack is full of flavor and their sweet potato fries are cooked just right. The Reuben? I swear its better than one from a New York City deli (I feel like I can say that... born and raised in NY). Honestly, you cant go wrong- everything on their menu is amazing! Im not a beer drinker, so I order their hard seltzer with the blackberry lemon flavor- so refreshing, especially on a hot day.Did I mention they have outdoor seating? What more could you want? Also, when you visit, please ask for Mitchell (in the photo)- hell treat you like royalty!
The ambiance is great.. laid back, fun, yet romantic. The food is even better! I’m a vegetarian so I had the pretzel bites with beer cheese and spicy mustard - hard to find pretzel bites that aren’t over cooked and undersalted surprisingly & these were heavenly soft and perfectly salted - I also had the carrot hummus - delish! The pita was warm and soft like a fluffy blanket snuggling my hummus - and I had the brussel sprouts, which run in my blood; I love brussels! These were tangy, with a slight sweetness that had my mouth watering and wanting more after each bite! Next I split the local green salad with the significant other. Talk about mouth watering! Yumm! Everything was so fresh and juicy! For my entree I had the gnocchi (no bacon) with butternut squash, pumpkin, & black truffle. It was very light and creamy, had a hint of sweetness. It was delish. The sig other had the cheesesteak with generous sliced steak, beer chz, and all they yummy charred veggies accompanied with a cheesesteak. He loved it because he didn’t say a word the entire time until he was finished - ok I guess we both did :-p
Nice place and friendly service. They are currently doing a concert series in their parking lot. We brought chairs and blankets to sit in assigned spots in the parking lot. It was socially distanced. It was great to sit outside and listen to live music. They are a brewery and their beers are great. We got a deal that included a cooler tote. So are drinks were cold while we watched the show. Their draft beers are good too.
Came during ATL Burger Week. Service was great. They have great beer as well, all brewed and on draft in-house. Had the FTE Double Stack. It was great. Sweet potato fries also bangin. Priced very reasonably. They arent enforcing mask wearing, so be aware of that, or sit outside if youre concerned.
My first time here :)My server Anthony was so kind and professional! He suggested the porkchops and OMG they are so delicious. As he said, all the flavors complement each other. I didnt know apple sauce could compliment the flavors of savory food until today. And the pinot noir was a great drink to have with everything. 10/10 would dine here again! Thank you so much, Anthony!
I was so shocked about amazing everything was! The beer was so unique and flavorful. The service was top notch. The food was some of the best I’ve had in this area. Overall a really great experience. I can’t wait to see what it is like after covid cause I hear sometimes they have live music
Great food! Fabulous brews and fits my description of a truly unique Roswell Brewery! Great service and people! The band was a little loud but its very fitting for the environment. Cannot go wrong here.★To all the negative reviews regarding music being too loud: Try asking nicely or not coming on Th/Su (the only music days).★To all those that dont like the beer: Try more than one / they have 16 unique brews (and you might not know good beer if you cant find at least 1 good one).
I stopped at this place because I was riding my bike at Big Creek and I deserved a post ride reward and the place didnt disappoint. Great beer selection, outside sitting, good customer service and I had Pimento Cheese Fritters with Bacon Jam and White BBQ sauce..... Fantastic! The brewery deserve a second visit.
Great vibe to the building, and wonderful, friendly, knowledgible people. Not to mention delicious beer. Super good food too... The chef obviously takes pride in the food. We enjoyed the brisket burger and sweet potato fries, and everything at nearby tables looked just delightful. Nice bar, two televisions to watch the game, and a beautiful outdoor area to play patio games. Nice location for larger parties. Lots of easy parking.
One of finest restaurent in the city of Roswell. If you have not try food and beer here than put this restaurent on your list to visit. Staff were quick and very Attentive. Food was amazingly delicious and off-course they make there beer right at the restaurent so you can’t go wrong with choices and flavors they got!I tried fried checkin and boy o boy it’s flavorful and crispy and fresh.
Y’all. Third chefs a charm! The first half dozen times I’ve been here I was underwhelmed in the food department. Like once I asked for tomatoes for a burger I ordered and they brought me a side of cherry tomatoes 😆 BUT tonight we went for dinner and I was so impressed! The food was excellent and clearly a grade above our past visits. I ordered the pecan encrusted trout with sweet potato gnocchi. It was a generous portion and really yummy. Crunchy on the outside and perfectly cooked. My husband got the burger and it was huge and so good. He said it was one of the best he’s ever had! We also had the hot chicken dip and homemade chips as an app and it was super tasty! My husband also ordered the flight and he said their saison is really good. I liked their cider and would definitely recommend.
Visited second time as beers were great with OK food. The place is located in busy neighborhood with no parking issue :) Outside sitting is pretty good in summers. In pictures,1. Golden Spiral, a golden ale beer with medium to low carbonation. It has light hazy, pale gold color with fruity notes. If you are looking for good golden ale then this is must try out there.2. Ball of confusion, a german ale with chocolaty head, woody aroma. It has taste of roasted malts with medium to high carbonation.
This place is an absolute hidden gem. I havent had one bad dish on the menu and being from Philly, I can fairly say FTE has one of the best cheesesteaks Ive had in the south. The bartenders are top tier mixologists and know a variety of cocktails that are new or have been around for quite some time. Brian is an incredible brewmaster and there is always a new, creative, and quality beer on tap on top of their traditional fan favorites.
Very nice contemporary ambiance, but inside smelled a bit weird, so we sat at their fantastic outdoor seating. Shame the smell drove us to sit outside and not be able to enjoy the inside decor/ style. Service was ok - several misses, including coffee we all ordered with dessert. Food was pretty good; the best item was the brussel sprouts. We all voted them as best. Ordered several other apps, which were just ok. Tacos were good too but way too much cabbage killed the buzz. So we decided not to do dinner there. Others sampled the beers, while I stuck with a champagne cocktail. Good for a happy hour, enjoy!
I have to say that this is my new favorite place to eat this year!My server Daniel was the kindest and most attentive server despite how busy everything looked. The pandemic has been hard on everyone but restaurants like this are the reason for me to go out places.I really enjoyed my salmon plate and my husband loved his beer flight.I can’t say enough for how hard working the staff here is and can’t wait to come back for more live music soon!
The best restaurant and brewery in the area offering craft beer which rotates frequently all of which are great. The food sets them apart as its of of high quality and consistently good (been here maybe 10-15 times). Offers great meals for kids too at super low prices when considering quality. Can get pretty busy on weekends for dinner so be ready to wait for a bit. Lots of parking in the shopping strip with restaurant in first story and with accessible seating.
It was a very nice evening. All six of us enjoyed our meals. My steak frites were great and heard the steak burger was right up there also. Really enjoyed the tunes that were playing in the background. My 7 and 9 yr old were jamming too even though the songs were a lot older than they are.
The menu was great, however, I didnt like any of the beers. Im one that enjoys plain old Pilsner Domestic Beer, especially draft. I wasnt happy with the options. Id like to recommend having at least one of the popular domestic beers in a bottle for those of us that dont drink small brewery beers or IPAs. I do realize that the beer served is made on site and highly respect that. Just thought Id mention that Im involved with Mirosa Beer Co/Anything But Monday Beer (ABM Beer) having 2 Beers brewed in Italy, a pilsner and lemon infused. The same Brewmaster that created Peroni, which I dont like at all, created our great beers.Best regards.
Great experience. Wonderful first impression and prompt service. Our waitress Sara was exceptional. She was attentive, informative and a delight to deal with. The food variety, taste and presentation were outstanding. Ill definitely go back and hopefully get to have Sara again.
Absolutely incredible. We went last night for an outdoor parking lot show and we had dinner inside beforehand. The bartenders, servers and hosts were ON IT. It was insanely busy and we had a 15 minute wait for our table so we went to the bar for a drink and only ended up waiting about 7 minutes. The Sledgehammer with passion fruit flavoring added was delicious and the pretzel bites were warm and salty with an amazing cheese sauce. The fish and chips was a little pricey for 2 pieces of fish and some French fries but it was yummy and the quality was there. Will definitely be back for the live music and the drinks and food.
Service staff is always friendly, attentive and provides great suggestions if youve not tried something on their menu. Their beers are always well balanced and flavorful. The homemade sodas are a huge draw, the blackberry lemonade is off the chart. Havent had one thing from the food menu that I would say is anything short of delicious.
Good cocktails, friendly staff and enjoyable live music. I loved the tasty cauliflower and pickled carrots that came with my order however the pork chop itself tasted like it was pulverized one side and flavor was just okay. My companion had the duck confit and really liked it. I will be back to try something else.
The place looks great but there were so many flies from folks going in and out. Brussel Sprout appetizers were great...but 22$ fried chicken plate was dry and very meager portions. The size of portion combined with just the one side was ridiculously overpriced. The Mexican Corn was tossed on arugula leaves and was very bland.Sadly, I was very unimpressed.Pricey tab for little food.
The ambience was nice. Unfortunately we couldnt stick around for the live music. The service was good but the food was mediocre at best. Keep in mind, I am NOT picky about my food so for me to say mediocre, it says a lot!! The Reuben sandwich was dry with burnt toast (looked nothing like the pic on the websites home page) and the cheesteak was just OK, but more bread than anything else. Fries & beers were good. Going to give it another chance hoping the kitchen was just having an off day.
What a good find! We biked at Big Creek and then had lunch and beer here. They have a good selection of beers and food was tasty. There is also patio seating available, it would be a good place to visit after a bike ride, especially in summer time. The only complaint was food seems a little bit pricey.
From The Earth Brewing looks like a really cool spot. We stopped in to grab a quick bite and a beer before the Phish show at Ameris on a Saturday. The place was what you would expect for 3:30 on a Saturday. A few people outside, mostly empty inside except for the bar.We were told that the only seating that wasnt reserved were the few tables out front in the sun. Now who reserves tables at a brewpub on a Saturday afternoon? After forgetting about us, the hostess said we could sit, but then quickly ran outside when we chose the table with a corner in the shade. I guess we looked like full sun people. Things continued to be sort of slow, and having wasted 15 minutes trying to get seated, we decided to just call it a day.Im not sure if this is normal for From the Earth. Possibly the front of house staff were just new? Its definitely strange to have such a high percentage of the house available for reservations.
Had a great experience here. It started with our excellent server, Anya. She was attentive and very kind. I wish we had this kind of service everytime we came here! The food was wonderful and a quality that is very much desired at any restaurant. Overall very pleased with our visit.
Stephanie, our server, was so nice! Went on a Saturday night. Had a reservation but due to traffic was 15 min late. They were still able to accommodate us. Yay! Stephanie suggested the pork dumplings to start; they were perfect! I ordered the fettuccine which was tasty and my boyfriend ordered the salmon BLT which may have been even better than the pasta lol. For dessert we tried the chocolate mousse with raspberry drizzle. We liked that too. We also enjoyed a flight. Next time I’ll have to bring home a six pack. Def recommend this place.
This is easily the best spot in East Roswell. Great music, delicious food, and the beer just keeps getting better. Try the Porch Song (NE IPA) or Can’t Find My Way Home (Double IPA). As far as food, start with the FTE Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese or the Pimento Cheese Fritters, followed by the Fried Chicken or the Double Stack Burger. If you happen to be around on a night that they have live music, they get the best bands in the area by far.
Feels like a neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name. Love the safety procedures and cleaning they do to make sure everyone stays healthy. The staff is friendly & welcoming, the food is superb and the beer is always on point. Do yourself a favor and get the pretzels bites.
The employees are a little uptight and not very warm or smiley, especially for a place that is owned by some laid back hippies with cool music posters throughout the place. Theyre parking lot concerts are pretty fun, at least during the pandemic, but they dont advertise enough so theyre never crowded. Wish they kept the kitchen open later. Good food and good selection of craft beers. Servers wore masks, but every time the kitchen staff came out of the kitchen to use the restroom or get something from the back, they didnt have masks on, so its concerning that they may not be wearing masks around the food they prepare.
Ive been here several times. The beer is great, and a flight will currently only cost you $10 for 4 (four) 5oz pours. All the beers are excellent. Ive never met one (here) I didnt like. The food is also excellent, but it can be a bit more on the expensive side. However, I feel that the price is reasonable given the quality of the food, and the fact its locally sourced.
I have been going for lunch, brunch, dinner, drinks since this AWESOME spot opened up! Every time I go, they are pleased to serve with a smile (now, a masked smile). Their menu changes with the seasons, as does their craft beer selection. From a guy who used to only order Bud/Miller/Coors, theyve opened my taste buds up to the wonderful world of sours, maibocks, IPAs, ales, Hefes, Marzens, and Porters... I cannot thank them enough for being an absolute pillar of the community, and for always hosting my clients and I with excellence. Keep it up; 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!
This place is absolutely GREAT! Due to COVID they only have outside seating but even so it is absolutely AMAZING. We sat in one of their lounge areas and, if it were not for the parking lot in front of me, I could have been fooled that we were in a beach cabana. The service was prompt and VERY friendly, and they have a reduced but decent drink and food selection. The staff was so on point that they recognized one of the guys that i was with and brought his usual out before he even asked!!!Lastly, it goes without saying at this point, but the food and beer was DELICIOUS! You have to check this place out! 10/10
I didn’t know what to expect, but I’m so glad I visited From the Earth Brewery. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. The music was a fusion of blues and blue grass. It was the best blue grass I’ve ever heard. The atmosphere was full of energy and there were people of all ages. I’m not a beer drinker and tried the Apple Bottom Cider; it was lovely... flavorful, yet not too sweet. I ate the mountain trout and it was cooked to perfection! We had a fantastic time tonight! I’ll definitely eat here again!
I love that its family oriented. The food is good. The beer is better. The place is nice and spacious, not over crowded with tables. The outside seating is our favorite thing. Most servers are great. I hope they improve their salads and add at least a couple of flavors to the wings. We love beer and wings. The burgers are very decent!
This place keeps getting better and better. The beer is fresh, delicious, and keeps changing to keep it interesting. The food is fresh and delicious, and it seems to me it gets better and better all the time! Fried chicken is a can’t miss menu item!! Live music nights are a blast and the staff is always super friendly and truly exceptional. Love everything about this place - neighborhood gem!
Excellent dining experience; beautiful cozy outdoor seating; tasteful fresh dishes, terrific vegetables and vegetarian options; cocktails correctly crafted, balanced; courteous and diligent service team; team member Peyton was exemplary, knowledgeable, and energetic; highly recommend
Wonderful music, appetizers, entree and beer. Tried the chips and dip, pretzels, and mussels appetizers, all were great. Burger and fries were wonderful, really delicious cheese and seasonings on the burger. Best IPA I’ve ever had. The music was really very good and I could tell several people were there primarily to listen. Busy on a Sunday night!
While the beer was good, the food was spectacular! Grilled oysters were fresh yet decadent, the shrimp and grits took us all the way back to Charleston, and the mac n cheese was exceptionally creamy and full of goodness. The service was also welcoming, fun, and informative.Come for the food, stay for the beer - were excited to see whats next From the Earth!
Room was a bit chilly in early Nov, but theres a good atmosphere. I drank the German beer and enjoyed it. For me the mushrooms were too greasy as an appetizer. The fte burger was good fresh meat, but again swamped with too much extra grease that made it a little heavy. The fries were cooked well but way too much pepper for me. I really wanted to like this place, but at $90 for two it didnt quite come up to expectations.
Finding variety as a vegan in Roswell is a challenge. I just discovered Chef Joey has made a huge improvement to the From The Earth platter. It is seasonal veggies smoked on the BGE served over pearl couscous with almond romesco sauce and queso fresco. It also came with Maitake mushrooms. I ordered without the queso to make it vegan friendly. It was truly delicious and I’m happy to be able to eat as a vegan at FTE. FTE is one of my favorite brew pubs with amazing food beer and staff.
My husband and I had date night here and have to say we were not too pleased. The service was slow as we didn’t get waited on for the first 10 minutes we were there. And the waiter who we saw at least 3 times go to the table behind us finally came to greet. I would at least expect him to acknowledge our presence with a “Be right with you” but did not get recognized or appreciated for waiting. Drinks were good and food was ok. We ordered the pork belly which would’ve been delicious if it were not cold in the middle. The sear was done perfectly and would’ve been exceptional if it was warm all the way through. My husband got the double stack burger which was excellent and I got the beef short rib which tasted like something I make from home. When I go out I want something exceptional and something I could not replicate at home. Didn’t get that with the short rib. All in all was ok but not for the price. Would expect impeccable service and food for the price we paid.
You can read below if you want.I was taken very good care of and received great apologies for the bad experience. What started as a great evening, suddenly turned bad. Service, appetizers, beer were all great. Live band was so good, for a while. Suddenly the volume was turned up to a level that we could no longer speak across the table. Manager showed no sympathy. We left without dinner. Sad ending. Was very much looking forward to a nice experience. You cant exclude customers. At least pretend to be sympathetic to their concerns. I will never return. Great location. Hopefully the next business will get it right. We locals want places we can enjoy on a regular basis.
We absolutely love it here. We come at least 3 times a mont to happy hour. We were incredibly impressed by everything they did to help the community during quarantine and still create an opportunity for us to bring home or favorite food and beers. The food is amazing, the beer is cold and tasty, the atmosphere is relaxing and fun, and most of all our dogs love their doggie treats!
My husband Steve and I just had the Fettuccine Shrimp Crab Lemon and Parsley pasta for dinner. OMG - it is delicious. Lots of seafood and really tasty sauce with a hint of lemon. Definitely recommend it and will have it again. We saved some for later so we could also try the Carrot Cake for dessert. Our meal was definitely a 10.
Love this brewery! They really put the workmanship into having consistant and fantastic craft beer. Craft beer lovers come here! Also-- they have a really amazing socially distant concert series that takes place in theor parking lot!!!! They are keeping live music going with safety in mind! Their food is off the charts...farm to table deliciousness. Pimento cheese fritters n fried chicken? Yes, please. Music bingo on Sundays! How amaze balls is that?!
This place is phenomenal, not to drop a knowledge bomb but I spelled that without autocorrect. Been coming here for a few years and the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, is the reason that we come back. Today we met Payton, she has been the best server we have had at any restaurant, if you have any questions about the food or drinks, ask her bc she knows everything about all of it!! She is passionate about her job, so that makes the experience even better! Do yourself a favor and ask for Payton when you come here. Thanks Payton!!! PS EYFBOW
The food and ambiance is great, but unfortunately the service leaves little to be desired. We continue to come and hope that it will get better. It doesn’t. The bartenders are too busy chatting clustered at one end of the bar than checking on customers. I constantly have to flag someone down to get a refill. Don’t they understand that alcohol sales boost their tip tremendously? It’s a shame because this could be 5 stars.
Worst restaurant I have ever been to. I have been traveling the world looking for top tier restaurants the past few years, and I was told this horrendous establishment should be part of my journey. I was utterly disappointed, the service took 7 hours, and when I got my medium rare steak, it had literally not entered a grill. Total waste of time, DO NOT COME HERE. (Would give 0 stars if I could.)
Finally tried FTE, and it is quite a cute spot. I loved the atmosphere and decor. They also have cornhole and other yard games outside, which are perfect for a warm Georgia evening. Our waitress was amazing and so attentive! You cant beat that! The food was delicious- we had the pork belly app and then the burger and both were so flavorful and juicy. The only things I didnt love was it was live music night- which I normally love but it was just a little bit too loud for conversation. The beer is pretty good, not rock your socks off but I am looking forward to trying them more in the future. If their beer isnt your cup of tea, they have an amazing draft list of craft beers to suit your fancy. Bottom line, you definitely need to check this place out if you are in the neighborhood!
New neighborhood restaurant so we wanted to try it. They had been open about 5-6 weeks so I was hoping the kinks had been worked out. The ambiance is good...a brewery type atmosphere with brew tanks in the back where I think they will take you in for a small tour. The restaurant is smallish and in a rectangular shape. It is also very loud but I imagine that is the atmosphere they are going for. The good: our waitress was VERY friendly, very informative, and very attentive...we loved her (we think her name was Jordan)! The bad: The food portions were small for what you pay and was not delicious by any stretch...my chicken was overdone, the korean BBQ tacos were not very tasty and not much meat, and our pretzel starter was also not enough pretzels for 7 bucks...I mean, they are pretzels! They cost very little and you could add a few more very easily for the price. We try to avoid the restaurants that think, Hey, lets be trendy...make our food and drink portions tiny and then charge more for it! This is East Roswell, not Midtown. The drinks were also not pints, but charged like pints (Owners, a pint is 16 oz, not 13...come on!). We will give them another chance in a few weeks and see if they have changed anything as they are obviously still working out the kinks, but at this point they still arent there. We would give our waitress 10 stars, but the restaurant is 3.5 rounded up to 4.
This place is awesome and I cant wait to go back! The food and beers are good and reasonably priced. Both vegetarian entrees are great - try the broccoli burger! Really nice atmosphere too - its laid back but also feels really nice at the same time. They have outdoor seating, a fire pit, and cornhold (& a few other games).
Full restaurant and bar at the location of From The Earth Brewing. Select from several styles brewed on site including Belgian, Stout, West Coast & New England IPA. The menu includes pub favorites like Buffalo Wings and Fish & Chips, but also some upscale fare as well. Look online for upcoming events, trivia, and live music.
The food was phenomenal. You could tell the chef took thought and care. The beer was good too. The only reason I am not giving this a higher rating is because they say they have farm to table fare. The server really wasn’t educated on it, and we learned that only the mushrooms are farm-sourced. Would love to see some local meats served here. This was something I had high aspirations for and they really have a ways to go still
I had been waiting for this brewpub to open for quite a while. However, after my first visit I don’t know that I’ll return. The service was very slow even though we went on a weeknight when it wasn’t too busy. The food left a lot to be desired. The soft pretzel was doughy and heavy. I don’t think anyone I was with really enjoyed their meal. The beer was so so but overly priced compared to other breweries in the area. The vibe of the place is not authentic - everything was overly hipster. I would have chalked all of that up to it being a new place; however, once it came time to finally get our checks our waitress didn’t know what she was doing. We were clearly a group of a few couples yet she brought us one check. Upon asking her to give each couple their own check, she said she couldn’t because she hadn’t kept track of who ordered what. Overall, I’m very disappointed by this place. I could have overlooked some of these things if something at the place showed promise, but nothing really did. I’m sorry to say that I likely will not be returning.
We have visited this venue four times for live music. The first two times we had a great experience. The food was good though a bit pricey. The service was excellent. Then we visited a couple weeks ago and couldnt even get iced tea. Today they oversold and people could not even get inside. We bought tickets in advance and arrived early and were told they were out of tea after the first glass and then ran out of ginger beer (which was flat) and also napkins. If you plan to have bands you need to be better prepared! The staff was overwhelmed and RUDE!
Good food, beer and servers. I enjoyed my Impossible burger and IPA. There is plenty of seating indoors or outside. There were a few kids playing with the Jenga blocks outside. It was my first time stopping at the brewery, but I will stop again the next time Im in the area.
Ok, so Ive been going since they opened (although really not frequently enough). Gone for drinks, apps, dinner, and brunch. The beers elare expertly crafted and the cocktails are legit, too! The atmosphere and staff are great! The food, though, is really spectacular! Last nights debauchery included a few of the new Third Eye beers, pretzel bites, the cowboy dinner extravaganza (16 oz bone-in ribeye cooked to perfection, lobster mac n cheese which is seriously loaded with lobster, and Brussels sprouts not to be missed - the whole meal is nothing short of amazing, and then bread pudding for dessert, because why not at that point, right? Just go. You wont be disappointed!
I just moved to the neighborhood about a week ago, and was super excited to see that a new brewpub was opening right down the road from me! I didnt realize they were open yet, but as I was driving through the parking lot this evening originally planning on stopping at Taqueria Tsunami, I noticed people inside so sporadically decided to stop in for dinner/beer instead. The menu was excellent and I found it hard to make a decision (We ended up with appetizers, entrees, dessert, and lots of leftovers!) The quality of the food was outstanding, and the portions were very generous. We ordered a flight so that we could try all of the in-house beers (also all excellent!) Our server, Angelo, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and stayed on top of everything! He even went out of his way to show us around the restaurant/brew area after we finished our meal and tell us a little more about the place. Top notch customer service and food, and from what I understand they are still in a soft opening, so I cant wait to go back soon after their Grand Opening and feel out the environment/explore their menu even more! Angelo also showed us a cool outdoor seating area/fire pit that is going to be open and perfect for the upcoming Winter months!
Ok beer, horrible service. When we were 8 in total and were looking forward to good beer and service. The reality was different. We ordered our food and beers, the place was about 25% full. Few orders arrived on time, pork belly took over one hour, and arrived after we asked twice. Some beers arrived on time, in other cases we had to ask twice before we got our beers. Also, one person in our table ask about the short rib he ordered and the waiter didn’t bother to speak with him. He just walked away. One of the worst experience we have had. Also, even after we told our waiter the bad experiences we had, the manager did not bother to visit our table. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
Awsome vibe in this place and atmosphere. Tried a beer flight, all very tasty, and the brisket cheddar burger. Have to say this is definitely one of the better burgers in the area if not one of the best Ive ever had. This place is legit and should be here to stay. I definitely will be back and would recommend anyone in the area to give this place a try. A+ in house beer, food, and service.
It must be a new thing to gravitate to brewery restaurants and out of our desperation for new things to try ... and a change to our palette, we think we found gold.FTE is situated in the same shopping plaza as the once infamous Aqua Blue -- which, by the way, is no longer open. Its been a good scene with other places nearby like FSE and Circle Noodle... so if the food isnt your scene, you can get the beer and move on.Speaking of food, everything was pretty good. The pretzels were decent but nothing exciting. The salad was drowning in dressing so make sure to ask for the dressing on the side -- unless you like it that way? The burger was probably the best thing. As for the beer, I went with the flight to sample everything. Everything was okay but not exciting -- with one exception... the double IPA. Pretty darn good.Dropping in at 6:30 on a Friday night came with a 30-minute wait. Try getting there earlier if you dont feel like waiting. Otherwise, the bar seats are pretty comfortable. Interior space is wide open and modern -- LOUD. ;-)
Food is good and beer pretty good. But plenty of staff not wearing masks and social distancing isn’t consistently applied (particularly bar). Booth next to host table is sketchy when no host staff wear masks and other staff without masks gather there right above patrons to chat. At least most servers appear to wear masks. Just some concerns that made us a little uncomfortable but may not apply to everyone.
The service was excellent, quick, polite, and anything but boring. The atmosphere is above most. The food, particularly the burger, were fantastic. I dont know whats in the spread but damn it was good. The brussel sprouts were also amazing, but sweet so drink something to compliment them. And that leads to the beer... This isnt fly by night, the brew master knows their craft. Check untappd to see the various scores but my favorites were there dark ages the golden spiral. Great flavors, none of them hard to drink. Ill come back the next time Im in town.
EDIT January, 2019: this place is great but the live music on Thursdays is just untenable when eating with anyone else. I love loud music (I’m a 24-yo guy) but it was just about impossible to hear anyone further than 6” away from me, our entire meal. The place is beautiful but could use some sound-dampeners or smaller ampsLove this spot. Great owner (awesome guy showed us around one night), delicious food, and a great beer selection
Went there with the wife on a Sunday to have a late lunch date and to see Rev Jeff Mosier play. We had to wait a bit for a table inside but the hostess gave us a text update for when our table was ready. Ordered a beer for myself (really liked it) and she got a champagne mix drink that was only okay but $10 for maybe 6-8oz worth. The burger and fries I got were good and Im pretty sure they make their own buns which was cool. The biggest problem was my wifes broccoli burger. The taste was just extremely bland, dry, and the tahini they use as a condiment was like peanut butter and only added to the dryness so I hope they can change up that item since its a vegetarian-friendly item. I will head back again because I want to try more of their beer and I really appreciate the local bands/artists they organize to play there for free.
Our initial visit to FTE and are now wondering why we waited so long to enjoy a visit there! The in-house brewed beers are absolutely unequaled and paired exquisitely with the extensive menu offerings. We started with the pretzel bites and roasted brussell sprouts, then progressed to the absolutely heavenly brisket tortillas and the flank steak plates. Will definitely be regular patrons at this authentic, welcoming, and absolutely unique eatery/brewery. It is a treasure to be savored!
Nick DiSebastian recommends From the Earth Brewing Company.Just now ·From the Earth Brewing Company has the total package. The food, beer, service, atmosphere, and live music is spot on. It seems every time I go (a few times a month) I find a delicious menu item that Id never had before. Their craft beer can be as approachable as a crisp Golden Ale or as intense as a Double IPA, and always hits the spot. The owner is often making rounds, catching up with patrons and fostering a welcoming community feel. He has a passion for live music which is apparent in the acts that perform. From the Earth Brewing Co. is the perfect spot for a family dinner, date night, and/or a get together for a group of friends. See you there!
I absolutely love this spot and cant wait to go back! The variety of beer on tap offers something tasty for any pallette. The food is absolutely incredible - fresh, delicious, and an array of options. My weakness at any restaurant is short ribs and FTE did not disappoint! Also, we shared the pretzel bites app and the beer cheese was the best Ive had - yum!Atop all of this, FTE has a great group of genuinely good people. From the folks tending bar to the servers taking care of you, the owners have cultivated a happy spot with great, friendly patrons. We visited last Thursday and learned they have live music each week. We had no idea - just happened to come in for dinner when one of my favorite banjo players was doing an acoustic set with a guitarist. Ive seen this guy in concert several times and there he was playing for a group of 70 while I ate and made some great new friends. It was an amazing night! Thanks, FTE! I think were heading in for brunch now after seeing the new menu!
Good beer, good service, mediocre food. I had the impossible Burger, which I have had at other places and it was very good. This was not. They overcooked the burger, served it on a stale cold bun, and had no creative toppings for it. It was dry and tasteless. No attention to detail.
My wife and I each had a flite of From The Earths brews. Between the two of us , we sampled all five of their offerings. All were excellent! The atmosphere was cheerful and lively. We will be back again for lunch or dinner as the food being served to those around us looked well prepared and appetizing.
Great experience until some idiot decided to turn up the music to the point where you had to scream to be heard. The manager could have solved the issue by turning the music down or even by showing a tad of sympathy to my complaint. True, I am 70 and I have this quaint idea that people dinning at a pricey restaurant might actually want to hear what each other say. The Saturday night manager amusingly had to shout at me to explain that he thought that the decibel level of the music was just fine. He said no one else had complained...as if he could have heard them.So be warned...if no else complains about the service at FTE, your complaint will be dismissed. In my long life I have never been so disrespected at an eatery whose trendy pretensions are only exceeded by its extravagant prices.
This place is awesome!! Food, service, beer, managers, owners...the entire vibe is just so fun and welcoming. I came in for the music with some friends and it was Perfect. We got a table up close to the live band and had dinner and talked all night! Can’t wait to come back!
Time Stevens has an amazing restaurant with amazing brews. Great food and a great selection of house beers, local favorites, and sometimes....amazing house-brewed root beer. I highly recommend the burger, the pretzels (for a snack), or the Salmon BLT. You cant go wrong at FTE.
Living OTP, I often regret that many of my favorite brewpubs are all downtown. Thats why Im so grateful to have FTE in Roswell!Tim and his staff are dedicated to great customer service, but, above all, to high-caliber food and beer! Weve been dining here since they opened last fall (2017), and have consistently been impressed with their changing seasonal menu options, sourced from local farms, as well as expanding beer repertoire. We hope youll be around for a long time!
Not a place I can recommend to just eat dinner. Wife and I are not drinkers but wanted to try their food since we live nearby. I had the Bratwurst and Linda had the hamburger! Both were dry and overcooked. Hamburger patty was considerably smaller then the bun (kinda like McDonalds) and the Bratwurst came on a pretzel bun which was also quite dry! Wont go back!
While the reimagined fried chicken was excellent with bacon gravy; the accompanying mashed potatoes were lukewarm.3 oversized asparagus stalks unappealing. After waiting 20 minutes for desert manager apologized for being able to provide; offerred ice cream instead. Disappointed in management, service staff stellar. Perhaps better management might be in order-
Another awesome brewery OTP! So happy this place exists. Great decor and ambiance. Definitely a more relaxed, enjoy good beer and chill with friends vibe. Food is also great, although on the pricier side. Entrees avg between $10-20. Goin Out West IPA is one of the best IPAs Ive had. Would come again.
I lifted the side of my plate to separate the overcooked fresh veggies from the oil. Salmon was okay, but overall the food was overpriced. Restaurant has the loud tin can sound vibrating from the metal ceiling. Ask to be seated outside and enjoy the live band on a Sunday evening. Might give it one more chance.
I have been to many breweries over the years and met some knowledgeable brewers and bartenders. Brian was my bartender a couple weeks ago. I was very impressed with Brians descriptions of each of your beers that I tried. After every taste I was like yep, thats exactly they way it tastes Brian!
In May we had a party for my son and new daughter in-law at From the Earth Brewery. Paulk and the FTE team were so flexible and easy to work with. The service was beyond attentive. The food was amazing and the beer, well dont even get me started it was so good! They made the entire evening a special and unforgettable event! FTE you rock!

2022-06-06Excellent service - okay food - pricey for what we got.We had dinner here tonight and honestly I was pretty disappointed with the food. The pimento fritters were excellent but everything else was just okay. The steak tacos were pretty bland and my fish had what tasted like old bay seasoning in the batter. Perhaps other items might be better…The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly.

2022-05-21Great atmosphere, and amazing staff. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were all extremely attentive. The service was fast and the pretzel bites were very good. Good wine and beer selection, however they were out of a few of the options we were interested in.

2022-06-12Super basic food nothing different. We ordered a hamburger that tasted nothing. A Philly cheesesteak had way too much green pepper. The Brussels sprouts were super bitter and tasted way too garlicky.

2022-06-29Both brewery and food were excellent. It’s rare to find a place good at both. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Parking was easy. The plaza has plenty of other food options too.

2022-01-31We went in to check this place out as a possible rehersal dinner location.I was BLOWN AWAY.The food was fantastic, the service was top notch, and its a cool spot.We got the pimento cheese fritters, the burger, and the cheese steak with sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious and honestly? I had leftovers and that cheese steak was just as delicious during Round 2.We have decided this is the place to host our dinner.10/10 do recommend.

2022-04-08Not your average brewery/restaurant. They actually have good food. Its consistently good, both food and service. Im a bit disappointed in the beer selection being overly hoppy for my taste. My all time favorite beer Strong Enough is no longer available and that is a bummer. Try the pretzels and the chicken sandwich.

2022-01-17Good variety of beers, but none of them really stood out, and were quite pricy. Food is pricy as well, but was fantastic, along with good table service.

2022-01-22First time going to the restaurant and using curbside. A few things I look when using curbside or take out services. Ease of ordering 10 out of 10. Accuracy 10 out of 10. Quality of food vs. Value which was a 10 out of 10 and last but not least the taste. We ordered lamb, chicken, pretzel bites and a kids cheeseburger. Our family enjoyed all of the dishes. Bonus they procure locally which is amazing. We will return.

2022-01-09Super cute spot! Farm to Table fresh dinners with lots of beer and wine options. Fantastic service. Not great for kids, but super nice date spot! Most dinners are $25-40/person, but I’m my opinion the prices were very valid.
