Horrible service. We basically got kicked out because they would not allow my infant to drink his milk. They stated that the restaurant is kosher which I understand but they were not allowing my son to have his meal, milk in his baby bottle. What kind of sense does that make?? This is very irritating! Also, the restaurant states it is Latin American cuisine but Latin America (where my family comes from) is very welcoming and they do not prohibit your infant from eating/drinking their milk! The woman even said I could go outside to feed my child. It’s 30 degrees outside. Is she crazy?!??
I ordered a schnitzel sandwich and I do not recommend it. I called the establishment to tell the manager I was disappointed in the quality of food I received for such a high price and I’d like my money back or a different entree. They basically told me they won’t do anything to rectify the situation because half the sandwich was eaten. This was a to go order so of course I got home and ate half of it. It was extremely poor professionalism and they spoke to me in such a rude manner without even trying to see where I’m coming from. I will not eat at this restaurant again because they were so rude to me.
Edit: The vegan biscuits that are actually graham crackers are just insulting. They used to be biscotti, but now theyre just graham crackers. For dipping? Are you joking? It would seriously be better if the coffee didnt even have a side. What were you thinking?Good food, if a bit expensive. Very nice selection. I dont eat meat very often, but the vegetarian selection is quite large, as is the desert selection. I highly recommend the yucca bread.
I’m having a hard time leaving three stars but there were too many inconsistencies warranting more. We visited around 4:30 so we were the only patrons. We were sat immediately and never felt awkward for arriving early. Our server was pleasant and, overall, attentive. Based on the recommendation of our server and reviews, we ordered the yuca fries for an appetizer. They were delicious and I encourage everyone to order them! My wife and I both ordered two bowls - the black bean with tofu and steak. Both were lacking flavor and ingredients. Rather than being balanced with ingredients, it was full of lettuce and sparse with the remaining ingredients. We left feeling hungry and unfulfilled.
I went here 3 times during my recent trip to Atlanta. All in all, its a good place to eat with a nice variety on the menu. Its obviously a little on the steep side since its kosher. The portions are slightly on the skimpy side but not so much. On my last visit here with family they somehow didnt deliver my order (i think another waitress took it) and they replaced it with no charge or complaints which was nice.
My opinions and reviews are just that... my opinions.. somehow the wait time of an hour for our entrees at this restaurant seemed excessive. My thought was that the food order priority was set for take out orders first. Or giving the benefit.. maybe they were just short on staff. Good variety for burgers, hot dogs, oh yes, sushi too for this Latin American restaurant
The place was small and hardly anyone there. It could have been because we were there on a Monday at 6pm. The food was just OK. The Yuca fries were good but all in all not worth the money spent for what we got. Also to charge $5 for 1 tiny empanada is not acceptable and it really was not even that good. I think the GM tried to justify their pricing because they serve Kosher. Not a good enough reason. Not sure I will be coming back here.
Excellent food, however, they are not very accommodating for people with for example black pepper allergies like in my family. Also the server Elena was great but a little brusk and “in your face” with her responses to questions about the menu, with very stern “NOs” without any kind of customer friendly attitude or demeanor. Besides that, great food and place.
Super delicious! It was a bit higher price than we were expecting but it was worth it. We had to go :Yucca bread ($6), chicken skewers ($19 - w a side of rice and sweet plantains), chicken empanada ($5) , chicken tostones ($12) , and the beef pastelitos ($10)— every single portion was on point and with the right texture and flavor. We’ll definitely come back !
(2018) Very good food and outstanding service. (2019 update): Was back in Atlanta this year, and took another co-worker there. If anything, the food and service was even better than last year. All three co-workers I took there (not Jewish) really liked it. Not only are their entrees wonderful, their sides are outstanding, as well. One of the best kosher restaurants Ive been to.
Ive been here so many times and each time is amazing! I think its probably the nicest Kosher restaurant in the Atlanta area. We love everything, but Yuka fries are my most fav! I am allergic to Dairy and Gluten on top of being kosher, so this solves all my problems! Its so great to eat someplace I KNOW is safe!
Its a nice restaurant with enough tables inside and outside. It seems like every time I go, its packed but there is still room. Service is okay. The prices are a bit on the higher end, but food is yummy. My all time favorite go-to is the Chicken Taco Salad Bowl, just in case youre having difficulty deciding what to order ;)
My Aunt and cousin who are from the Republic of Panama and keep kosher - wanted me to find Kosher restaurants to eat at while they were visiting this past weekend. The food was absolutely amazing. I honestly wasnt sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised. I will (and have already) recommended this restaurant to Kosher and non-Kosher friends alike. It reminded me of home (Panama) and I will be back!
Great steaks with wonderful seasoning. The variety of South American appetizers made us happy, and we sampled a bunch of them. Felt the dishes were huge, and had trouble finishing them all. Love the open kitchen. Also have a great wine selection. Prices are high, but the quality matches the price. I wish their lunch menu was available on Sunday because the different offerings looked great.
Food is OK. No more than that. Portions are OK not huge. Service is Superb! (our waiter was phenomenal). In terms of prices these are extremely high even at Kosher standard, and be ready for 20% gratuity which is automatically added to your bill. Note that meat is kosher and grass fed so high price is somewhat understandable.Bottom line, there is no better steakhouse in Atlanta for Kosher dining.
Didn’t even get to have my food. We got in here at around 7 pm ish. The server took us to the table. We placed our order. But we had to cancel because of such a rude behavior from the server and a college boy who looks like he is the manager. The place has nice ambiance, and the food is decent based on my past visits, but the arrogance and rudeness demonstrated by the restaurant is not befitting of its nice look. It was a surprisingly bad experience, because we always had a good down-to-earth vibes in the past. It seems like this place wants to establish itself as a fine dining restaurant, but there is a big difference between being proud of its food and being arrogant and snotty.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, and reasonably priced. I had the chimichurri steak, which was recommended and did not disappoint. I also tried the mixed appetizer plate, two out of three were excellent, but one was only ok. Still, I highly recommend and will return if Im in Atlanta again.
Food was very good. But....we were completely ignored after food delivery. Even after refilling our own drinks. Small place so we couldnt have been out of sight. They simply ignored our table. Food way overpriced!!! Service way under desirablity. No offer of any compensation. Hope we can find another Kosher restaurant.
This place is heaven for people who are gluten free and dairy free. No worries about cross contamination and you can order almost everything of the menu except a few desserts. I am sure we kept our server entertained with all our allergy related food questions and she could reply positive to all of them, that is so unusual. On top of that, the food is delicious. Worth a special trip
This place is my favored. I go to many restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the food they place on your table is so delicious. I never decline to have a good meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend this place.
Food good. service fine. OWNERS HORRIBLE! Dont go there if you have kids. We just got asked to quiet down a baby because the owners decided to have a meeting in the middle of the restaurant, in the afternoon on a weekday. We werent even sitting by any other customers. They have a kids menu and didnt even have any crayins If YOU HAVE CHILDREN DONT GO TO THIS restaurant and spend your money!
OK food, considering it is Kosher. The meat quality is good but the cooking quality is no better than Steak and Shake so do not expect Uruguay here... bit expensive but not crazy. Service is good but be prepared for a forced %20 tip. Waiters I believe do not get paid much (if at all) there so you pretty much are their salvation.
I was disappointed today and made to be an outlaw for bringing my yeti cup into the restaurant. When I requested to have my cold coffee in their cup warmed, the request was followed by a visit from the manager asking what was in my yeti. I replied nothing and she left without explanation for the question but I was never brought coffee. So I sat through the meal watching my wife and neighbors receive refills but, being an outlaw for an empty yeti cup, was ignored time and again. I regret the visit and wish I had not paid to be outlawed. The food was fine but the characterization made for a poor experience. At the end of the meal, I asked for an explanation and was told that their coffee does not get cold because it is in a thermos and that they did not know I needed a warm-up. And so, this was a lack of attention to the client coupled with an implied accusation regarding the yeti. Normally, I never write negative reviews but todays poor experience followed a simple drink order request being ignored yesterday at another restaurant that also did not have a busy waitress. A busy waitress is understandable but a lack of attention is off-putting.
Superior customer service. Great ingredients. They really put thought into the menu. Thier sides are gluten-free. They have many vegan options which is AWESOME!! This includes vegan cheese, sourcream, dips, dressing and DESSERT. Dont work meat lovers they taste just like the real thing plus offer they have more than enough for you to choose from. Come check this place out. Service is fast and they will make you feel loved.
Was excited to try this place as I had heard good things and find it difficult to discover worthwhile Latin American food around here. Never actually got to try the food though, as the waitstaff was so appallingly rude, I left before ordering anything. Maybe the food is good, but work on your front of the house. It’s equally important.
Last night (1/13/19) I had the best meal Ive had here.Walking in we noticed their grill must have been working on overtime because the restaurant was almost full and I had never found it to be smoky like it was last night.Out of the drinks menu I am glad to have given the sangria another chance because there was one time when the sangria I was served smelled strongly like a wet rag (they were courteous enough to not charge me for it then). However, yesterdays sangria was the best Id had in a long time and the pitcher was perfect for two of us. It might serve three people if you dont drink too much. The food was also excellent. I am a soup lover and their Latin Vegetable soup never disappoints me. Their Argentinian churrasco with chimichurri sauce were also great.Additionally, it is a great spot to have a dinner with your Jewish friends as it is one of a few good spots around Atlanta where the food is Kosher.
I hear the food is good, but my experience had me ubering away as fast as I could. Never had a more rude and abrasive customer service situation in my life for any reason. Note their reason was valid and something I respect, but their lack of tact and a general disregard for my friends and me leave a sour taste in my mouth. Proceed with caution.
Fantastic Food, Great Atmosphere if a little small. The prices are also very good. The only thing I dont like about the place is the setup. You order up front and it gets delivered to you. Normally not a deal breaker, but this place gets packed for dinners and you find yourself waiting, and waiting just to order. Once you get the order in though, the food comes out pretty quick and is beyond delicious. All in all, the waiting and waiting in line is worth it, just wish it wasnt an issue to begin with.
I felt that the portions could have been larger, but my steak had more bone in it than meat and the price was way too high for the meal I ordered. The sangria I had ordered was water down by too much ice and all the fruit was stuck on the bottom making it taste like flavored water. The food itself had decent flavor, but I like more of the authentic flavors from South America and the Caribbean.
$$$ But so worth it. The food is amazing and caters to many. Kosher Parve, Vegan, allergies, gluten free. They are wonderful to families with small children. Great about getting the childrens food out fast. The employees are so nice.Clean resturant. We have been before and tried many different meals. Everything has always tasted so good. Highly recommend. Great for special occasions and groups.
They were great tonight when I showed up with two kids while hubby was out of town. It sounds crazy, but their rice is amazing! Just rice, right? I need to crack that recipe. I am a pescetarian (vegetarian, eats fish), and despite it being a meat restaurant, theres plenty for me to eat. Dont miss the dip for the yucca fries.
I didn’t get to taste the food. We walked in and there wasn’t a host. While I was trying to speak with one of the waitresses in an attempt to understand what the protocol was , this fella walked up cut me off and told me I had to wait since I didn’t have a reservation. Not sure how he knew that since I didn’t get an opportunity speak. So we left went across to the Korean spot and it was delicious.
Where can I start?Delicious food? Good customer service?I always come here to get delicious kosher food. The dark meat chicken taste phenomenally delicious! One time, we ordered catoring for a company event and most of my coworkers enjoyed the food!Sheila and all the members give good customer service. I dont know why many people complain against them. Perhaps native Atlantians need to stop being full of themselves??
One of the best kosher restaurants in the world. Amazing food, incredible variety and flavors. Probably the most versatile kosher menu I have ever seen. Whether you are stoned in pajamas or wearing a three peice suit and hat to an important meeting, there is something for you. Fancy menu but informal place.
Food was excellent , the yucca bread was delicious , we had the churrasco steak , great flavours . Service was so quick they brought out the kids food almost immediately. Kudos to Trayvon our waitress . The owner stopped by to make sure everything was ok he treated us to an extra drink
Horrible. I ordered a $20 steak salad based on a picture that looked scrumptious. Half an hour later they served me 4 very small strips of steak on chopped lettuce that had turned white with some thousand island sauce. My dates meal looked plastic. Sodas were flat. My date and I walked out. Over priced garbage. Never going back.
So I ordered the chicken teriyaki burger, it was really nasty. And the price is very expensive. I also asked for extra ketchup sauce and they charged me $ 2 for it! disgrace. I used to come there twice a week because it is a kosher restaurant but Im not gonna to come anymore .
Since being taken over by new management, this restaurant has become a gem in Sandy Springs. New menu offerings, improved service, yummier food! If you have been there before, its time to return! If you have not been there before, you must try it. We take our staff there periodically and they just rave! Glad you are back, Udi!!!!
Hate giving this place a bad review because the food is really good. Despite this, I wont be back. Went with my sister and order food, drinks, and even a to go order. We werent even finished our drinks when a rude staff member told us we needed to leave because someone was waiting for our table. This was later in the evening and there were other tables open. Absurd
Since this is an upscale restuarant ,The Worlds Greatest and Pricy American Burger should be served with three sides on the evening menu , and two sides on the day menu , to warrant the price .So too the hot dog should be served with a side or a at least a pickleRolls or bread should be on the table , and served with a bowl of soup
Dont confuse this for a steakhouse.Server corrected me on how I should order my steak....really? Just write down what I say, if I want it med-rare then thats what I want. I dont need you telling me I should have it medium. No REAL cheese for a cheeseburger (no bacon either), non-dairy chocolate desserts, $64 ribeyes, if memory serves. The food that made it to the table wasnt bad, but with all the limitations on the menu, Id stay away. Unless vegetarian, kosher, and GF is your thing.I would never bring anyone here, ever.Aside from the fact that this place isnt vegan-only, it reminds me of the vegan restaurant they visited in Grandmas Boy.
Ive been here probably 6 times, each time in search of the menu item for me.(Yucca bread doesnt count. That is a must. That is a given. As the night doth followeth the day, yes, order A LOT of that.)I never reviewed because I was still searching. Tonight I found it: steak tacos.5 stars? A million stars. A mouthful of ecstasy.Hence this review.
I went to eat here with my Colombian friend in hopes we had found a new Latin American yummy place to eat. We were disappointed by the fact their food was not authentic Latin American food at all. The only Latin American things on the menu were yuca fries and plantains (which were clearly frozen products from a Walmart or some other grocery store). I ordered the Spanish rice and was highly disappointed. I could have bought Spanish Rice A Roni and it would have tasted exactly the same. To add insult to injury our server was not attentive to us all. At the end when we told another server our grievances with the food, she came over and said she thought we were high schoolers. Im guessing that made it okay for her to neglect serving us. When we mentioned we were both teachers she acted as if she did not believe us and asked where we went to college and where we teach. The owner was at the restaurant the whole time and never once came to apologize for our experience personally, but he chewed out our server publicly. I would not ever recommend this restaurant to anyone! Especially if you are looking for Latin American food.
Awesome Kosher Wine! On top of the staff being super helpful and knowledgable and fun, I ordered the Latin Teriyaki Chicken Burger and BBQ wings with fries and it was amazing! Different from your average chicken sandwich, the teriyaki glaze and house sauce make this place definitely worth a look. FuegoMundo is for sure in my top 5 for lunch or dinner in the Sandy Springs area!
Fuego Mundo is a great place to eat and sit, family or friends. The food is superb and has a everlasting taste. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to all guests and is very on top of their game. Its a great place to eat whether its breakfast, lunch or dinner. It gives off the best latin american vibe and plays great music. Definitely one of my top favorite resteraunts.
Two visits in two weeks, and we only ate lunch because my co workers catch their Pokemn at the Prado. Both times slow, both times had issues getting refills on WATER. We had a group of 6 and 20% gratuity was added.... Not 20% service. I was also charged for $2.25 for a water. My $9.75 lunch with an extra $1 for upgraded fries cost me almost $17. Not going back, sorry co-workers... Pokemon are fake so this place will be vetod from now on.
Just ate here. If I had a chance to speak w/ the manager, I would have suggested he try some of the simple sides, such as the grilled veggies/mushrooms and quinoa, which were both very BLAND and not properly cooked. The quinoa was either old, reheated, overcooked, or all three. Mushrooms tasted like they dont believe in salt. Im guessing there are other underlying issues in that kitchen.
This place is not what its advertised as. I was expecting food from Latin America. Instead options are things like Teriyaki chicken. Hmmm. I was expecting Cuban, Colombian, Venezuelan, Mexican food, etc. Not here. The only thing Latin was the salsa music playing in the background. And the menu is rather pricey.
Garbage, service ok, food garbage, after I complained the owner so called Masha came out , things got even worse, Im from New York , sorry ATL people you guys dont know what is real glatt kosher food is, she was nasty , they dont know how to prepare a simple steakBye.

2022-02-22I heard many things about this place and havent been here for a very long time. We stopped by with a group of 6 for lunch and had a great time.Babaganoush on the Mediterranean platter was great and so was the chummus. A couple of burgers were very tasty, fries were good and the wings were very enjoyable as well. They were not as spicy as I expected, but you can always order extra spicy sauce on the side. All in all, about $15-$17 per person for lunch.Nice atmosphere, fantastic sangria, very convenient location, - I very much recommend this place.

2019-09-11Every time I am in Atlanta I come here for a meal. The staff is super friendly and the menu has a good amount of offerings for all dietary needs. Recently I have been getting their daily specials which is totally worth it and I wish some of these items made their way into the menu. If not, I hope they continue to have them since I’ve been really happy with the flavor, price, and amount of food each time. The restaurant is usually very busy at dinner time but even with a little wait it is totally worth it. One of the downsides to my experiences which I will say I have seen improvement on, is the way new team members are trained and brought on. It feels more of a trial and error and everyone gets tossed into the fire as opposed to a slow learning and assisting method, which is totally fine if understaffed and no ability to take time to slowly teach. It hasn’t been bad experiences, just learning ones. They also offer kosher food and vegetarian options in Terminal A at the airport in 2 of the Boars Head Fridge stands.I look forward to getting a meal here every time I am in Atlanta. I look forward to what Fuego does next.

2022-02-09Don’t waste your time or your money eating at this restaurant. It is overpriced and underwhelming. I’ve given it two chances as . Both times I was highly disappointed in the food and the service. The first time I got the beef pastelito which is nothing more than a beef patty with hard crust and bland meat. Today I got the Pollo tenders and fries. The chicken was anything but tender. I almost chipped a tooth biting into one they were so hard. To make matters worse when you scan the barcode in the restaurant to look at the menu the price came up as $11, however, in the system they charge $13! I was told that’s because the barcode menu hasn’t been updated. If that’s the case why not give me the lower price of the two. The last straw was for the second time did they not include any napkins or utensils in the bag, not to mention when I asked for barbecue sauce they told me I had to pay an extra one dollar yet they can put honey mustard or whatever the sauce was in the cup in with the order. They could’ve just swapped the two and not charge me any extra or better yet why not ask me what was my choice of sauce. This place is a rip off and they will never get another dime of my money.

2020-08-19The food was out of this world! (And it wasnt just because we were hungy) It takes a pro to know how to make moist schnitzel, tasty grilled chicken salad or crispy sweet potato fries, chocolate soufflé... (among many others) nailed it! Besides, the staff is so courteous. Would definitely return 😋

2019-11-19Everything was amazing! I had the grilled chicken with the 3 traditional Latin sides(black beans, rice, plantains)and added a side of stir fry veggies. Everything was great and cooked to perfection. The plantains werent dried out, the rice and black beans were flavorful and had the traditional Latin flavors. Dont even get me started on the chicken. The veggies were grilled perfectly so much flavor and not over cooked, they were all still very crisp. Just looking at this picture, Im getting hungry again. A must try
