So thankful for Galbreath & Sons!!In February, we had a DIFFERENT company come out since our A/C downstairs wasnt working. This OTHER company informed me that we needed a new evaporator coil in order to get the cold air going again-which was $2300.00-ughhhhh!I had an appointment with Galbreath for tomorrow but received a call early this morning that they could come today! Within an hour, Danny showed up and seriously saved the day--not only is the a/c working but its FREEZING (insert tears of joy 😭😭😭)He was professional-knowledgeable-and super friendly. I also appreciate that he took time to show me how to use our thermostat correctly--which I think Id been using wrong! So thankful for this company and their employees!!! Im framing their card and putting it on my wall!!!
Galbreath and Sons really came through for us. Outdoor temperatures were approaching triple digits, a family member had just returned home after surgery, and, unepectedly, our heat pumps were failing (and fast). However, starting with our first call to the office, to our meeting with Danny Shapiro, to the installations performed by Charlie Clark and his crew, everthing went like clockwork, We now have two excellent Lennox units that are working perfectly. Highest recommendation for Galbreth and Sons!
I had a appointment this morning and the technician called to say he was on its way which I really appreciated. He couldn’t find anything wrong with the system and gave it the usual winter service. The young man’s name was Gill and he was prompt , friendly and very affectionate Galbraith & Sons can be proud to have him as there employee. Great job Gill
Brandon was awesome! Galbreath and Sons always have the best technicians that take their time and are completely thorough. We’ve been using this company for 17 years and now my daughter and mother also use them for their HVAC needs. The office personnel are top notch too and very accommodating and polite. Service and customer service are the best from the top down. I wouldn’t use any other company and highly recommend them!!!
The scheduler was able to get me an appointment in less than 24 hours of contacting the company. Gil showed up at the very beginning of the service window. Let me know he was 15 minutes out. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. My air conditioning was up and running about 30 minutes later. Fingers crossed, I dont have an air conditioning emergency again anytime soon, but I definitely know who I will be calling.
This company is truly professional and looks out for the best interest of the customer. I used other companies in the past who always wanted to tell me I needed to spend 18k and replace my whole HVAC unit, rather than help me fix the issue at hand. I will not choose anyone else! They are always professional, responsive, and do great work! I do feel sorry for the workers who have to go in the attic space as it is way too hot for that!Thomas
Brandon was courteous and professional. He took his time to thoroughly evaluate our AC system. He also responded to my question about possible condensation leaking from a vent in our ceiling by looking around the attic for any problems. He also took care of a wasp nest in our compressor that would have been a problem. He was terrific!
I have had nothing but the best experiences with Galbreath and Sons! We have two air conditioning units and a few months ago both had stopped working. One unit had broken down completely, and the other one was in need of parts. Luckily we were able to work with Sean Bohannon and were able to finance all the costs for the new unit with a monthly payment that fit our budget. And because we were going through some financial difficulties at the time, Sean made sure that we could get the parts we needed for the other unit. We had a service call today, just to have a check up on both units and theyre still working great!! It was nice to see Sean again, hes always been very professional and understanding. I am so appreciative of how this company will go above and beyond in order to keep our home clean (the plastic booties over the shoes) and work with us on making our appointment convenient for our schedule!! Thank you so very much for all you do!!
Called for a second opinion. Rep fixed AC after another company said I needed compressor or purchase another AC unit. My AC is still working good, same unit. He was honest to say its old at 12 yrs & I may start having more problems. For now, I didnt need a compressor. Thanks 😊.
Galbreath and Sons is the only company we will ever use! Charlie, Brandon, and Dylan did an EXCELLENT job installing a 5 ton unit at my place of business. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough! Steven arranged everything and helped us figure out exactly what we needed! Thanks so much guys! Highly recommend!
Had an HVAC part replaced and preventative maintenance done. Received great customer service both times, from the initial phone call to the service completion. The techs wore shoe coverings and did an extremely thorough job on my HVAC system. Very knowledgeable and courteous!
This was a semi-annual preventive maintenance on our HVAC system. Gil is our technician and is always on time, very knowledgeable and professional. He communicates with us throughout the appointment to let us know what he’s doing and why and provides input when we ask questions. We trust Gil 100%. We’ve used Galbreath & Sons for 10 years and they take great care of us as a preferred customer.
The office quickly responded to our need for a possible repair on our unit. The tech arrived quickly, was professional, and provided us with answers to our questions. We highly recommend this company. We have used them for a few years and they always take great care of us.
I have used Galbreath for many years and always have great service. They are very quick to respond when we have an issue and get us back up and running. They are very professional and friendly. This family owned company is one you can count on to always do the right thing.
The most responsive and professional HVAC sales and service provider I have ever used. From the point of sale through warranty and repair services, Galbreath’s team and ownership is unparalleled. I’ve been a customer for 5 years and will remain one for many more years to come. Icontinue to recommend them to neighbors and friends. This company truly deserves 5 stars!
Galbreath and Sons are professional, prompt, and experts when it comes to HVAC. I called their after hours number at 9:30 on Wednesday evening after comin home to find out our unit was not cooling. Gill the technician called me and was out in 20 minutes and had it fixed in 15 minutes. I give them 5 stars and would recommend them to anyone!
After 2 days without AC, while waiting on my Warenty company to send someone out. I reached out to Galbreath & Sons, Inc. and they came through. Always professional, knowledgeable and honest. I appreciate Mr. Walls response time and kindness. I definitely recommend them.
I called on Saturday about my AC going out. Someone answered right away. Since I had a portable AC unit, I was willing to wait til Monday to have someone come out. I received a call from Sherry first thing in the morning (8 am) and they had someone dispatched right to my home. Nate arrived around 8:30 am and fixed the problem by 9:45 am. He tolerated my dog following him around lol. He solved the problem, quoted me the price, and everything was fixed. I will definitely start with their maintenance program and will recommend them to anyone I know who needs HVAC help.
This company is outstanding!! From scheduling, (Jen and Sherry), follow-up, being flexible, being professional, and the actual repair man, Danny, Who was especially knowledgeable and well trained. Danny was thorough, took time to explain everything, service, estimates, and repairs. We’ve had a terrible time with the A/C not cooling the house, and rising to 78-79 even at 10pm (June / July / August). Danny provided a well balanced evaluation, with an estimate for repairs, and a likely diagnosis to solve the problem. All aspects of this company, stand above the rest. Friendly, reliable, and professional! Thank you so much!
The technicians fixed our condensate line that had been destroyed by rodents. Danny found the leak, ordered parts and returned to replace the hose. He also cleaned our portable units and they are working more efficiently. The technicians cleaned up after they completed the repair. The project came in under their estimate.
Danny was just fantastic. We have had problems with our air-conditioned for a long time and no one was able to fix the problem. Danny came in and within a few minutes knew what the problem was and was able to repair it very quickly and did a fantastic job. This company is honest, forthright and just great. Anyone in the low country and Savannah should use this company for the heating and air-conditioning service.
Had another company come out and tell me I had a bad condenser and would need a new one, costing a lot of money. Reached out to Galbreath and Son’s and they had me back up in running in less than an hour, and without having to purchase anything major. Outstanding service, and saved me a ton of money!!!!I would also like to specifically thank the techs, Gil and Danny, as they went above and beyond to get my unit fixed.
Technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He did a thorough evaluation of the system to determine the fault. He recommended different repair options and follow on maintenance options. I would definitely resend their services for anyone looking for a professional HVAC business.
Spring check-up completed today as scheduled. This is really an excellent locally owned company with professional and courteous employees. They are very respectful of my property and I appreciate that! When they are done they take the time to fully explain what was done and any potential problem areas. I love the Lenox heat pump they installed last year—especially the money it saves me every month. Highly recommend Galbreath and Sons!!!
Technician by the name of Gill fixed my A/C. Courteous, fast, and intelligent young man describing exactly what was wrong, what it would take to fix it, and at a fair price. Completed the work professionally and quickly, a reminder of the quality of technicians Galbreath and Sons employs. Thank-you Gill, much appreciated!
Danny showed up for my appointment early, did our tuneup and provided us with excellent information about our unit. The unit needed some work and may need to be replaced or need more extensive work in the future. I was very pleased that there was no push to talk about replacing the unit now or pushing extra work at this time. Galbreath’s staff has always been wonderful to work with and very professional. I would always recommend Galbreath & Sons for anyone needed service.
Wed like to give a HUGE shout out to the gang over at Galbreath & Sons Heating and Air for their speedy repair of our air conditioning system at Studio Fit Personal Training. They always take care of our A/C needs. We are blessed to have such a outstanding company right here in Richmond Hill. Great people, great service!
So last night I decided to install a WiFi thermostat at 9pm, with no previous knowledge or experience with thermostats or A/C...And big surprise, I was unsuccessful and to boot could not figure out why the unit would not turn back on. I called Galbreath and sons early this morning, and within an hour a technician was at my door. Sean quickly diagnosed the issue (blown fuse) and helped me (meaning he did it) install the new thermostat. I now have A/C and more importantly have a new partner for my home heating and air needs - I highly recommend their services, they are fast, professional and offer a very affordable yearly contract that will keep us comfortable all year!
I would highly recommend this company to others in need of a good heating and cooling company. Sean, one of the technicians at Galbreath and Sons, serviced my HVAC unit today. I received a call alerting me of his arrival time. He arrived punctually, was courteous and professional, and did a wonderful job servicing my unit for the winter. He was thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. Thank you, Sean, for taking such great care of our unit!
Service repairmen were here early. Full explanation of what the problem was, and repairs needed, and associated costs. Work was completed promptly, and the defective parts were shared with me. Very friendly service from a gentleman who had been here previously. Very clean and careful... wore masks, and placed booties over their shoes. I would highly recommend them without hesitation!!
I have a Lennox thermostat that sent be an email stating my unit was experiencing a blower issue. The code information was sent to Galbreath & Sons as well. It was Saturday night when my unit showed signs of trouble. Within an hour of the issue, I was told by Steven Galbreath the part was in hand and would be installed on Sunday if I wished. I delayed the repair until Monday due to it being the weekend. Monday morning I received a text stating that Gil and his apprentice would be over around noon. Gil showed up early, was extremely professional and got my unit fixed within about 30 minutes. He put on shoe covers upon entering my house. He put a rug under the attic ladder to ensure no damage would be done to my hardwood floor. This was an outstanding service experience. Galbreath & Sons is the best! 5 stars in my book.
I purchased my Lennox HVAC unit from Galbreath and Sons back in 2010 and have never had any trouble with the unit, but with it being 10 years old, I thought it would be a good idea to get it serviced to see how it was performing before the colder weather comes. I like that Galbreath and Sons is locally own and every time I’ve called their office in the past, are very helpful and friendly. Friendly service goes a long way.I went to their website and looked around. There was a chat feature, and I started asking questions. I asked what all was included with the service and learned about the Comfort Club which provides two visits per year and discounts on parts. I decided to join.My appointment was scheduled for between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. Danny, the technician called a few minutes before 8:00 and told me he was 10 minutes away. He arrived at our home and with the current Covid 19 conditions, took all the necessary precautions to put us at ease. Danny took a look at the thermostat control and then went upstairs to service the furnace. I asked if I could tag along to learn what he does. Danny answered all my questions and told me my furnace was in pretty good shape for its age. We then went outside and worked on the air conditioner. Danny found a weak capacitor and the refrigerant was a few pounds low. Danny told me that a capacitor normally last about five years and so I got good life from the part. Also, if the capacitor is weak, it puts a strain on the other parts and could cause the other parts to have a shorter life. I have checked this out, and it is true. When the system was working efficiently, Danny gave it a good cleaning. I appreciate Danny’s skill at putting my old unit back in shape so it doesn’t break down anytime soon and may run several more years. I recommend Galbreath and Sons for all your Heating and Air needs.
Outstanding customer service and quick! Called them and they came out the same day and fixed the issue with my AC unit. I was so happy I tried to give the repair person a tip and he wouldn’t take it. Thanks yall! Visitors in town and didn’t want my house uncomfortable! Forever grateful.
The Galbreath and Sons team takes time to diagnose the underlying issue(s) so they can recommend long-term solutions. Their technician Gil is an incredible representative for the company — he’s extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional.I signed up for their GCC program last year and am confident the preventative maintenance is going to extend the life of our system and keep us comfortable year round. In summary, the services they provide and the quality of their work is unmatched. The entire team — from the office to the field — is focused on customer service. It’s no surprise that they’ve been helping the community stay cool/warm for over 30 years.
Called early Monday morning and had our appointment that afternoon. Our Technician came in and identified the problems and explained why they happened. About an hour later all repairs had been made. Professional and courteous, I highly recommend this company for any heating and air maintenance!
Galbreath and Sons have been taking care of our HVAC repairs and maintenance for a few years now. Our unit was not purchased from them, however, that has never been an issue as far as any service or repairs are concerned. They are always very prompt and responsive even with an after hours call. I can say that they have never had to come back for the same issue as well.Danny has been out to us a couple times now and he is a top-notch technician! Very professional and knowledgeable! No need to use any other business for HVAC in this area! And no, Im not a paid endorser or employee!
Probably the best thing I can say about this is that everybody I have worked with at Galbreath & Sons has been good people. That means a lot to me. Nobody has ever down-talked any competitors or products they dont sell, or tried to get me to buy something I didnt need or want.Of course, if good people cant fix an a/c... thats a problem. Fortunately, that isnt the case here.Chad, the fellow who helped get our systems back online due to a wiring issue, was incredibly personable, funny AND the man is a genius. Ever see a guy glance at a wiring diagram, take some needle-nosed pliers and dive into a mass of different colored spaghetti, make a clip here and a clip there, toss some strands aside, grab a couple of others and then say, this voltage should now read 24, and when I touch these together youll hear the second-stage kick in. Wham-O. 24 volts, second stage compressor kicks in. House is cool. Also nice was the fact that Chad patiently answered all of my questions about the system and what he was doing.Weve used Galbreath to maintain and update both of our a/c systems since moving into this house. A couple of years ago we had to do a fairly extensive upgrade (the original units with the house were contractor grade and mostly inoperative). I forget the fellows name who came out to the house to discuss options, but after scribbling down variations on what could be done on paper laid across the hood of his van, we shook hands on what ended up being a FANTASTICALLY fair price (via manufacturers warranties and prices). They stuck to this quote, too, even after one of the units had actually increased in price.I would have no problems recommending this company to anybody.
Galbreath has been doing the maintenance on our aging HVAC system for more than four years. During that time we have enjoyed uninterrupted service. Also service is not only thorough but they are very kind in answering any and all of my questions regarding our unit. I very highly recommend this company.
Ive had two systems installed and maintained by Galbreath & Sons. They always do excellent work, show up when they say they will and I felt the price for both the systems and the maintenance agreement is fair. Danny does the maintenance on my system and always does a great job. Highly recommend Galbreath & Sons!
We have used Galbreath and Sons multiple times and we continue to utilize their services because the technicians are respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient. I’d recommend their services to anyone. Gil in particular has always gone above and beyond to provide exceptional service.
Sean was fantastic - assessed the issue, provided recommendation and followed through to complete in a timely manner. Serviced our HVAC as well and did a fantastic job. Great overall experience and highly recommend. Sean was on point with his knowledge, follow through and overall service!
We couldnt have been happier with the level of service we received from Galbreath & Sons when our a.c. went out. They scheduled next day service and Danny was terrific. He took his time to troubleshoot and diagnose the problem. We needed a board for the system to run both zones of our home, a part that wouldnt come in until the following week. The inside of our home was 96 degrees and I wasnt looking forward to several more days of that. But Danny took additional time to bypass the board so that we could at least run the a.c. from one of the thermostats and cool the entire house. We wouldnt hesitate to use Galbreath & Sons again. Im also a Realtor and always on the lookout for excellent service professionals to recommend to my clients so Ill be recommending Galbreath! Thanks!
We recently replaced our heat pump and air handler with an upgraded Lennox system. Danny Shapiro did a great job identifying problems with our existing system, providing repair estimates, and giving me his honest, professional assessment and recommendation to replace our system. Matthew Palefsky did an outstanding job advising us of our options, providing options at multiple price points, and guiding us to the right solution. When it came time for installation, Galbreath and Sons arrived when they said they would, and Richard and his crew did a remarkable job removing and replacing our system. They left our house cleaner than it was before they came. We now have a more efficient, more quiet, and more technologically advanced system. While I believe we paid market price for the system, what we received was nothing short of world-class service.
Galbreath and Sons Heating & Air has provided us with service for the past ten years. Employees are friendly, competent, and reliable. I also like the honesty. If there is ever anything I am not 100% happy with, they work to make it right. I would give them a 9.5 out of 10.
I cannot thank Galbreath and Sons enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. My air began to not work properly on Memorial Day. When I called Galbreath and Sons, they sent a tech right over within an hour of calling. Not only did they alleviate the problem, but they also helped in getting me a warranty price for my the part that was needed to fix the unit. I highly recommend them for any of your heating and air needs.
Matthew Palefsky at Galbreath and Sons was a wonderful sales and customer service rep. I called at 11AM, he went over to my house before noon, gave me an estimate which included a military discount by 2PM, and they installed it the next day. Cant beat that. Fully recommend their services.
I can’t say enough good things about this company and family! My AC started leaking through my ceiling on July 4th weekend! I immediately called and Steven personally came out on July 4th morning!! (A huge holiday weekend) Steven was able to fix the problem quickly and even educated me on ways to prevent future problems with my AC unit. This company was on time, wore shoe covers and extremely professional, I would highly recommend this company!! Thank you again Steven for everything!!
This company is nothing short of completely honest we had just bought our home about 1 month ago when we had to replace our HVAC unit compete as well as our duct work, they gave us many options and multiple plans customized to our wants and needs as well as what was best for the house to choice form and explained them all. The project took 2 days from start to finish with amazing craftsmanship thank you all. We wont deal with anyone else.
I just received my electric bill for November and I cant believe my eyes It is HALF what it was last year at this time!Mr. Galbreath replaced my 20 year old electric unit with a brand new Lennox heat pump in June. They also added a second return at the far end of my house. The crew were top notch professionals and did an excellent installation.During the summer my bills were around 200 KWh less each month which was about 1/4 of the cost so I knew the A/C was a lot more efficient. But to see my bill cut in half was amazing! The money I saved this month made the payment for me, so this unit is paying for itself! If you have an old unit and high electric bills, I urge you to call Mr. Galbreath, if you get results like I am getting it wont even cost you anything!
Galbreath & Sons HVAC system for 6 years and alway great service.Danny has been working with us for the past several years. Consistent 5 out of 5 service and explanation of problems encountered, if any.Danny answers all questions with an understandable professional response.Great experience with both Danny and Galbreath. 5 stars
Professional, Courteous, Perfection, Expertise all describe Galbreath and Sons and their Superb employees! Our water cooled unit in the attic flooded us out once and gave several problems over a years time. We had about 4 companies come out for estimates on replacement, but when Steve Galbreath showed up we cancelled the rest of our appointments. He measured out the entire house including attic, thoroughly explained differences between systems and gave us several options to choose from. Not once did he ever pressure us into any system and answered all our questions promptly. Steve spent hours with us and felt more like a good friend than a business acquaintance. He even got us set up with a temp AC unit to hold us over until new unit was installed. We asked about roof foaming and although they dont provide that service, he arranged a reputable company to get it done. We decided to go with a Signature Collection variable speed zoned system with Icomfort thermostat and fresh air ventilator. Richard Lee and the guys who worked with him were absolutely amazing. Richard also feels more like a friend than a business acquaintance. As soon as they arrived equipment was prepped for install and a plan was set in motion on removing old unit. Richard let us know what was going on every step of the way and was never annoyed the numerous times I bugged him. Richard and his crew worked very diligently towards the end goal showing great pride in what they do, everything was routed to be functional, out of the way and visually appealing. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the layout of the entire system! Upon completion Richard explained the whole system and showed us how to program the thermostat. Steve had us to play with the system a few days then returned to answer questions and see how we liked the system. AC is crazy quiet and the air feels so crisp, this system Rocks! We will contact Galbreath and Sons for any future situations and will recommend them to everyone and so should you, you wont regret it!
Paid for 2 stage fan on ac unit but one stage thermostat installed—resulted in extra wear on ac unit. Never mentioned by folks at Galbreath in spite of ongoing maintenance contract. Multiple unsatisfactory repairs on Lennox unit.I would not let these folks service a glass of ice water, let alone an ac system. Regrettably, it took nine years for me to realize their incompetence.
This company fell miserably short in solving my air conditioners problem. Not only did they neglect to order the necessary part in a timely manner after the diagnostic visit, they enhanced my problems by severely denting my capacitor while they were here and never mentioned it to me. My a/c was working intermittently before they came and after the visit it never worked again. They diagnosed my problem to be a worn out blower motor/module, but when Geogia a/c Spcialists arrived they immediately saw the capacitor issue, replaced it and my air came back on immediately. Galbreath called me today saying my part had arrived and wanted to come out tomorrow. In the interim of my wait between my initial call to them on Monday (4 days) I called Georgia a/c Specialists who had my part ordered and delivered by lunch the very next day (today). They also discovered that the part ordered was still under warranty which greatly reduced my cost as quoted by Galbreath ; greatly (and is wasnt the correct diagnosis). They, Ga Specialists, came yesterday and installed a window unit to hold me through the night with some a/c. Feeling leery about Galbreath diagnosis, I requested Ga air Specialists to run diagnostics and it came back with bad capacitor.....nothing about the blower moter/module. This was when they replaced capacitor as mentioned earlier. I have the damaged capacitor in my possession. There is very clear, severe damage and no one has gone into my a/c unit until Galbreath tech arrived. Galbreath did not order my part the day of the visit (between 10:30 and 12:00) and when they did order it must have been standard shipping and that will not suffice in 100 degree heat. They did not check for warranty timeline parameters, they damaged my capacitor and they offered no solutions except to wait for them. A window unit delivered and installed the day,of my first call to their competition will get my business every time. Georgia Air Specialists were more than professional, expedient, concerned and just over all exponentially above Galbreath. I would not recommend Galbreath to anyone. One last item, Galbreath receptionist was very, very polite and pleasant, but the female in charge of ordering parts.......not so much.
Danny arrived and was very polite and professional when I explained the problem Ive been having for 12 years (a nasty black dust on walls, vents, etc.). He went into my attic and diagnosed and fixed the problem in no time!! I have had other heating and air companies out who could not figure out the problem. Way to go Danny! He found a dryer vent not securely attached! This will be the company I call for all my needs in the future!! Thank you!!
Galbreath and sons helped me design my HVAC system perfectly. They came out during the remodeling stage and gave me advice on what type of system I should use with the budget I had. We ended up spray foaming the house entirely. Larry explained that with a house being spray foamed, you need the right size system and a fresh air intake to avoid stail air. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I called this company. My house stays comfortable and my utility bill has dropped tremendously. I can even breathe better! No more allergy problems now that I’ve got a 16 merve air filter that only needs changing every 6 months to a year and now my house has fresh filtered air coming in whenever I want it to. I highly recommend calling Larry Galbreath if your looking for the best hvac products and service for your home.
The jury is still out on them. After living in our new home for one year and about 7 call outs we are still having issues with our HVAC. They are sometimes quick to respond, sometimes not so quick. If they can figure out how to get the HVAC to work problem free for a year I could easily bump this up to 4 stars. With all the issues weve had they did give us a one-year service agreement free of charge which was nice, but I really wish I didnt have to keep calling them out for more issues.
Steer clear! Call Arnold Heat and Air or Georges Heat and Air. Issue was not resolved when Sean left but you can be sure my card was swiped for around $150 to attach a shop vac to my drain line and add some dish detergent to the pan. He is real charismatic, and arrogant, and overly confident, and incompetent at his job. He bragged about how he always wins the monthly prize for always getting the most good reviews. I am suprised my atic rafters could hold an ego that big. Management should put more resources into providing quality workmanship than giving prizes for the biggest smile and biggest schmoozer. Ductwork was still dripping when he left!!! Sean said give it a couple of days and it should quit dripping. Really? He said if it didnt stop, call and they would come out again without me having to pay the $80 service call fee. Well, I didnt use my air for two weeks and when I did turn it on again still dripping from the ductwork. I got up on a ladder and moved a piece of paper from in front of the drain line in the drain pan. That stopped it for a while. Then it started again. I dont want to address the company at this point because over a month has passed and I am just not good at being confrontational and tend to let things go until I am good and mad about it. It starts dripping again. I wrap the ductwork with some metal tape. That stops it for a while. It drips again. At this point I call Galbreath and Sons and relay the problem to the girl on the phone who says I would have to pay another $80 service fee to have them come back out. I tell her I am not happy about that and at this point I have no trust in this company and if I have to pay another $80 service fee I am going to call someone else like Arnold Heat and Air or Georges Heat and Air who I have heard good things about. She talks to her boss who backs her up. Ok. These people are clearly out to take advantage of whoever they can. Just ride up, do something as easy as possible and grab the service call fee plus the charge for the super simple task they performed and move on to the next house is the quickest and easiest way to make money. I wiggle the line to adjust the drain line with the p trap. That stopped it again. As of right now not leaking. Sean couldnt just confirm my suspicions or point me in the right direction because he probably didnt know what the right direction was. He didnt even take the cover off my air handler to see if the primary drain pan might be cracked or maybe the coils needed to be cleaned, or try to figure out why water is getting into the ductwork! After calling friends and watching youtube videos I dont think a clogged drain line would cause water to get into the ductwork. Seems like if that was the problem it would just drip directly under the air handler, not from the ductwork. I dont know but I expect if I am paying somebody $90 to come over and look at my problem then they should make an attempt to identify the actual problem, not just do the simplest thing possible so they can hurry up and get to the next $90. I picked this company because I felt like it must be a local company that has been around a while and it has some good reviews, so they arent just going to rip me off like Service Experts or somebody like that. I was wrong. They are just as capable of having incompetent technicians as Service Experts and just as likely to sell you something you dont need and not even care that they have just ripped me off. Look at them all posing pretty under that oak tree. They feel good taking advantage of people so they can have those big smiles and expensive photo shoots. Boo Galbreath. Boo Sean. I suspect some of these reviews are fake. One sentence, no picture, vague reviews. I call that getting tricked by a business. Oh and a lot of reviews because they hand you their card before they leave and ask you to give them a good review so they can win the prize for the month. More tricks to make a quick buck. More worried about appearance than actual integrity.
The repairmen representing the company display integrity at every turn. They found problems and made it right as soon as possible. Also, I am not mechanically inclined and the guys have no problem breaking down the issues and teaching me small things to help keep my A/C unit running while showing a guinine interest in their craft. Also, they aren’t afraid of dogs.
No a.c. this afternoon. Called at 3-3:15 pm. Phone answed promptly and info taken reported to technician. Dean called (anonymous), almost did not answer! We discussed this. He was here around 4 pm. Found compressor wire loose/not connected.Done! Checked other stuff I think and we are good to go! Dinner plans at 5:30 are a go.Thank you so much.I was anxious as we just had the coil replaced a month ago!!! So I was kind of worried. Thanks again.

2022-07-21Ive been with Galbreath for over 10 years and have always been happy with the work and service. Recently, our home HVAC unit went out and the response and service from Galbreath was exceptional. Danny S. came out right away and assessed the problem and options. Throughout the entire job, he kept in touch, coordinated the whole process of replacing the unit and followed through with everything he said he would. That type of personal commitment, professionalism and customer focus is rare in todays world. Same with the installation crew. Charlie and Tim did a great job, paid attention to the details and made sure I was 100% satisfied with everything. I recommend them without hesitation.

2022-02-23Brandon did an outstanding job with the service inspection. He showed up on time and was very professional with his work. He assisted with fixing a filter cover than had came loose that is normally not part if the inspection. He even suggested some ways to keep my AC system running more efficiently. I would highly recommend using Galbreath and Sons for any of your heating and AC needs .

2022-03-29When it became apparent that there was an issue with one of our HVAC units and the other one had reached the end of its life Galbreath and Sons did an excellent job walking us through our needs.I tend to be overly interested in all the details and as a results asked many questions and requested various options. Steven kindly provided the answers and outlined several different proposals. Therefore, we chose to have them handle the fix of one unit and the replacement of the other.Thank you Steven, Brandon and the installers for your help and professionalism!

2022-04-21Absolutely incredible service! Everyone from top to bottom is kind, courteous, and professional! The gentleman who came out and cleaned our unit, as we are getting ready to close on our home soon, was simply AWESOME! He even went as far as killing a giant spider for me which he literally has no idea how appreciative I am!! He was right on time, transparent through every step and could not have been more kind or professional! This company just earned customers for life!

2022-04-12Galbreath has been absolutely heaven sent. My Dad is on oxygen and very ill. Our AC unit went out and was so hot the oxygen machine kept overheating. Another company tried to sell us a new high end unit and said the replacement part wasn’t available for a month. Galbreath was honest, had the part in stock and we had minimal out of pocket expense and minimal downtime. Their guy, Gil, is a professional, honest and compassionate man and I would highly recommend using this company.

2022-04-29We have used this company to take care of our units since we moved to Richmond Hill over 5 years ago. They are always prompt, knowledgeable, and honest! We will continue to use their services as we rent out our home to a new family. We only wish we could take them with us to our new duty station!

2022-06-24Unfortunately I will no longer be a customer or pass them on as a company to use. After Having Technician John out to my house for an estimate for Duct replacement, waiting two days without any word I ultimately tracked him down. He informed me that they don’t like to do that work in the summer. Then abruptly as I was speaking and expressing my disappointment John hung up the phone. You my guy need some serious customer relations skills training. Very unprofessional. If this was not something Galbreath does in the summer you should state that when I was scheduling. This was a complete waste of time. I would hope that Steve reaches out as to say he apologizes for the rude and disrespectful actions of his technician during the phone call.
