The rich understanding of the play, flawless direction and beautiful playing by your brilliant company really needs no review or reviewer to endorse this show, or not. The experience of this production is what counts, and I shall not forget it. It was a beautiful afternoon in the theatre; wherein among the very best of productions, you allowed us all to become part of it. ‘Calendar Girls’ now ranks among my top 10 all-time favorites - and when you consider the list includes Ralph Fiennes in “Much Ado” at Stratford, Clive Owen in “Closer” at the Lyric and Susannah York in “Camino Real” at the RSC’s Swan, your cast is among luminous company. I retract not a syllable. You have made my weekend. Have a wonderful and sold-out run.

2019-11-10My kids and my parents and I went to the Georgia Ensemble Theater performance of Aesops Fables. My 6 yr old son was so enamored of the hare that he voluntarily wrote a letter to her (He hates writing). I wrote it and he copied it. Im so proud. :)The actors did a great job and I loved the Q&A afterward. I highly recommend the kids performances because they are short and funny and perfect for little minds.

2018-01-29Comfortable seating and conveniently located in downtown Roswell. Saw the closing show of Tenderly. Great production with an outstanding cast. I would go here to see any show.

2020-03-02The seating is well marked and stadium style so there is a nice view of the stage. Will Call was super fast and easy. Concessions were sold on donation basis. Volunteers were very nice. The sound level was spot on. The set for Leading Ladies was very clever and the acting was well done. Saw the play twice! Parking is easy and free.

2020-02-19Leading Ladies was wonderful. Well written and superbly performed. First time at this location but if tonight’s performance is indication of quality of local talent, it won’t be my last.

2015-05-07I recently attended the theatre performance of My Fair Lady, and I was absolutely blown away! The actors were cast perfectly and they were incredibly talented. This wasnt your community theatre experience, it was as good as an off-broadway performance. The costumes, sound, props, and even the intermission bar and food was set up so nice! I had forgot my wallet in the car and did not have my debit card or cash on me- one of the ladies was kind enough to offer me a bottle of water no charge (I had asked for one because I was incredibly parched) I told her that I without a doubt I would make a donation after the play. Overall my experience here was wonderful and I am currently looking at season tickets.

2019-01-16Saw the Million Dollar Quartet in the Conant Center at Oglethorpe University -- WOW!! The musicians were amazing. The audience was singing, clapping, and enjoying the entire evening. So very well done - much much admiration for the Georgia Ensemble Theatre!

2019-04-12Talented actors and actresses. Wonderful performances. Great local theater. Love having the theater close to home and not having to drive downtown and pay for parking.
