Georgia Home Remodeling built a roof over our 26’x12’ patio, installed two ceiling fans and installed oversized gutters around our house. They communicated with us constantly about the progress and the next steps. The work was top notch and to code. They were on time every day and cleaned up every day. We are very pleased with the total project. The best compliment I can give this company is repeat business. They are currently remodeling two bathrooms for us and will paint the outside of our house in the spring.
We hired GA Home Remodeling to finish a room, hallway and stairs in our basement. They did a superb job! Chris was great at communicating with us regarding the next step and when to expect workers to show up. The workers were very professional, did an excellent job and always showed up on time. Our new space is beautiful and we couldn’t be more pleased. We would definitely use GA Home Remodeling for any construction projects in the future and highly recommend them!
We chose Georgia Home Remodeling to repair our house after it was damaged by a 91 foot oak tree falling on it! Chris, the owner, was very knowledgeable in all aspects and specialties of the job. We needed framing, roofing, drywall repair, electric work, masonry and finally, painting. Chriss expertise with the many crafts made the daunting process easy. Many hands helped in restoring our family home and were thankful for them all. Maybe especially Seans for his quality workmanship and his keen eye to details. NICE JOB indeed.
We contacted Georgia Home Remodeling to build a porch roof over our existing back patio concrete slab. I filled out their quote interest form online at night and was contacted the next morning to set up a visit. The quote was completed shortly after the visit. Afterwards, Chris kept us in the loop every step of the way in regards to permits, what construction would be happening when, and was very responsive to calls and emails. We had delays on the countys end and Chris kept us up to date on what was happening and what the next steps were.Our new porch roof is beautiful. It is well constructed and is exactly what I asked for. I am very happy with the whole process and would definitely seek out Georgia Home Remodeling again for any home upgrades/repairs I may need in the future.
Georgia Home Remodeling built a screened-in deck on the back of our house. They did the job well within schedule, and its really solid work. Communication was prompt throughout the process, and by the time they finished our deck and our roof, they had charged me precisely what they had said at projects beginning, to the dollar.Definitely a company I recommend.
Georgia Home Remodeling did a complete gut and remodel of our master bathroom. Chris Allen and his entire team were concerned about our specific needs and preferences. Chris always communicated any changes with construction, scheduling, and billing. Chris was consistent with finance and billing updates and felt very comfortable with cost changes via the updated spreadsheet he emailed periodically. We felt included on all decisions throughout the remodel process. Kevin and Sean, who did the bulk of the work, were also concerned about protecting our home by placing down material to protect our floors for the duration of the project. We highly recommend Jon Allen, master plumber and brother of Chris, who did all the plumbing work including installing a tankless hot water heater. Overall, GHR provided a new master bathroom that exceeded our expectations that we will appreciate and enjoy for decades. I would highly recommend Georgia Home Remodeling and look forward to having our kitchen remodel by them in the future.
We hired Georgia Home Remodeling to update the shower in our master bathroom. The crew was very polite and did a great job. They laid down plastic in the areas where they walked through the house and made every effort to keep the dust localized to the bathroom. We are pleased with the work and would highly recommend them for any home remodeling job.
This job involved removing the old tile and shower and removing an enclosed tub to be replaced with a standalone tub. After the demo work was completed, which was thorough, professional, organized and focused, the work immediately began on prepping the area for the new tile, floor, shower and tub. The team made sure the prep work was done properly and did not cut corners. The end product looks fantastic and high quality. The owner was very fair with his billing practices and was very good at communicating all along the way. I would definitely use them again.
Georgia Home Remodeling painted my home inside and out, along with some damaged siding and wood replaced on the exterior. These guys are the best. They did a beautiful job and I couldnt be happier. Georgia Home Remodeling built a basement apartment and shop in my new house. The work included all framing, electrical, plumbing (including concrete work), flooring, a custom tile shower, granite countertops & cabinets for the kitchen, moving and replacing exterior windows, and siding modifications.Chris Allen and his team made it clear by what they did that the quality of the finished project was as important to them as it was to me. Even working through the Covid-19 crisis, Chris team did everything they could to finish the work accurately and quickly. Chris frequently stopped by to review the project with me and worked through all of my concerns. Im very happy with the final result.Before starting the job, Chris provided a detailed estimate which became the blueprint for all work and cost updates. Whenever there were changes to project requirements, I new how much it would cost and why. Payments were made weekly for the current work, and Chris provided a spreadsheet each week that detailed all costs, payments, and adjustments to date. The way that he managed project financing let me know that the job was being done right and as expected.In summary, I trust Georgia Home Remodeling to do a great job at the right price. They will be my go to project team from here on out.

Partial basement remodel EXCEEDED our expectations. They finished a bedroom and bathroom ahead of schedule and on budget. Made our first remodel experience a PLEASURE. They were very flexible with the planning which made us feel like our needs/wants were the most important part of the project. I was most impressed with their excellent communication and project management which is usually lacking with contractors. The customer service was exceptional! There were NOT dozens of different people frequenting the house. It was the same familiar faces, which added to our overall comfort and trust. Small issues were responded to with urgency and to our complete satisfaction. Virtually STRESS-FREE experience. The finished product turned out awesome and we HIGHLY recommend these guys to help you with your project. This is not a paid review and I did not know the owners prior to our project.
Hired GHR to finish a bonus room as well as fix a roof leak and the water damage it had caused. The bonus room turned out fantastic! Just what I had wanted.I had hired another company two years ago to fix the water damage and they only patched the problem without fixing it. They worked 4 full days over a six week period and would constantly cancel.GHR did a fantastic job with everything we needed done. Their guys were on time and showed up every day for two weeks. They worked all day and were very careful to not make a mess in the house. There was constant communication about what the schedule would be and what exactly would be done and when. The quality of the work was outstanding and the pricing was very reasonable. Will definitely be using them again in the future.
Georgia Home Remodeling just completed our basement. We couldnt be happier. Chriss team did an excellent job. The contract was clear and Chris answered all of our questions along the way. The entire process was really smooth. The team finished the entire basement which included a finished bathroom, HVAC, recessed lighting, specialty paint, flooring and all plumbing. We are happily enjoying the 1100 plus square feet of new living space.
Chris and the staff at GHR are committed to making the customer happy. The quality of work is top knotch and exceeded our expectations. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. We had our basement remodeled from bare concrete and load bearing studs. It now feels like a condo. We did have some minor communication issues along the way, but those were resolved. I have recommended GHR to others and will use them in the future.
Im so extremely happy with Georgia Home Remodeling! I contacted them about an air conditioning problem I was having and they had everything set up so fast! They were able to work around our schedule and the guys they sent out were polite and efficient. They even found more issues with our other unit and were more than happy to help out. Not only did they do an amazing job putting in the new unit we bought from them, but fixed issues with our remaining unit. Hands down a great company!! Georgia Home Remodeling did an amazing job with our custom shower! We recently bought a 1950 home that was filled with all sorts of DIY jobs that were done incorrectly. One of those involved a leak behind our tiled tub/shower combo. Georgia Home Remodeling removed the tub, fixed all of the unexpected issues that came from the water that had been continuously running behind and under the tub, and built us a gorgeous, new, tiled shower all for an excellent price. Chris, the owner, was very good to work with and fast to answer his phone or respond to text messages and his crew took excellent care of our home and cleaned up beautifully when the project was done. We have several other projects that we eventually want done around the house and I am excited about the possibility of working with this company again in the future.
Georgia Home remodeling did a finish job my basement. Chris the project manager, was professional, courteous, and had outstanding attention to detail. He listened to my desires made excellent recommendations and fulfilled the terms of our contract perfectly.The finished product was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. Usually contractors just want your money and care nothing about your personal desires or making sure that you are satisfied. Chris took my project on and made it his own making sure there was nothing left incomplete or that I wasnt totally satisfied. I appreciate the attention he paid both to me and the project.If you want someone who will care not only about their work but about your finished project you couldnt pick a better contractor. Ga Home Remodeling did an excellent job on our partial basement remodel at a fair price. They happily Corrected Several items That needed to be Fixed at the final walk-through. We will be using them again in several months to Remodel The other part of our basement.

This is the first review we have ever written good or bad. We had a bad experience with another contractor that had been at our home for months. We had to move on leaving the job unfinished. We called Chris and he came right out. He really worked outside the box to help us get the job wrapped up very fast. I had the pleasure of working with 4 of his crew members, and they were great. Georgia Home Remodeling covered my 16‘ x 21‘ patio with the most gorgeous cover I had hoped for. They gave me an estimate and did exactly what they said they would do when they would do it. I am very happy with my finished product and would definitely recommend them and use them again.
The project went incredibly well considering the many obstacles encountered with the permitting process. Chris and Kevin went far beyond the extra mile in helping me navigate the processes with Gwinnett County. Their pricing was very fair and met my expectations based the various quotes I used for comparison. The quality of the final product was great, and the work was finished ahead of schedule. The team at Georgia Home Remodeling took a vision and made it a reality and I cant be happier with the outcome. My basement was transformed from a storage area to now include a media room, bedroom, bar with island, closet, full bath and full bedroom. Very professional and great work done in a timely manner. They put my mind at ease by explaining to me what needed to be done and worked with the insurance company when it came to something the adjuster missed. The house looks brand new – new siding, all new windows, exterior painting, interior painting, classy garage doors, new exterior steps and railings. Chris and his team came through not only with outstanding skills but with care and concern for the outcome and the feelings of the homeowner.
Would love to be able to write a review of their work, but after coming to our home to give us a quote for remodeling 2 of our bathrooms, we never heard back from this company. If they werent interested in doing our remodel, it would be far more professional and considerate to just send a quick email, declining the job.
GHR built a new deck for us and we couldnt be happier. Entire process was easy and exactly as explained. The guys building the deck were friendly and very respectful of the property. Cleanup and communication throughout the entire project was excellent as well.

We had an estimate done a month ago for some remodeling. It took 2 emails to get them to come out, and after we got the email with the estimate we tried contacting them. We have emailed and called and have been ignored so we will find someone else to do the job.

2022-03-25What can I say about Georgia Home Remodeling that hasn’t been said already? This being our first ever major construction project and the first time weve ever contracted for work, we searched high and low for a respectable builder who would deliver what we wanted....and we found it with Chris and his team.The Plan: We had an unfinished basement that we wanted to convert into a livable area for our kids and met with Chris to discuss what we were looking for. GHR drew up the plans, quoted us what it would cost to make it happen, and assured us the only way the price would change would be if we chose to include anything that wasn’t in the original plan. True to his word, our project stayed on budget and only the things we chose to add increased the price. So, if you choose to work with them, you can rest assured that only you will change the price.The Team: Kevin was the foreman for our project. Kevin and his team are, in short, amazing. Our project was pretty big (~ 1000 sq. ft.) and, considering the massive scope of our project, his team of electricians, HVAC, builders, plumbers, painters, and sheet rock crew were all very professional as well as knowledgeable. They were always willing to stop and answer any questions we might have about the project and assist with any decisions on things we weren’t sure about. They spent three total months on the project and rocked out the whole time. They were incredibly punctual and very respectful, even when our 13-year old would go down and ask questions without us knowing.The Project: Quality all the way. Chris, Kevin and his team positively nailed it (no pun intended). I have zero complaints and am super impressed with the work they did. When we first conceived the plan, I had some concerns about some areas of the basement being fairly narrow. That proved not to be a concern…..at all. It doesn’t even look like a basement. More of an addition to the house. It’s amazing what they were able to do with the space.The Responsiveness: This was absolute key for me. My biggest concern when we chose to finish the basement was communication. You read enough stories during the research about the nightmares that others have faced with contractors who don’t respond quickly or will disappear for weeks at a time. That is not the case here with Georgia Home Remodeling. Chris was always available to speak either on the phone or through email (which we primarily used). Emails would be responded to almost immediately. I never had an issue with getting into contact with him whenever I had any questions, and his responses were always helpful and knowledgeable. You will have no worries about communication with GHR.The Finish: You can rest easy with choosing Georgia Home Remodeling for your remodel. Our basement is amazing, their work is incredible, and I cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking to remodel, you CANNOT do better than them.

2022-03-18Our job consisted of 2 new windows put in our house, remodeling our fireplace hearth, replacing rotting deck posts, and installing new basement heat and A/CEach task was done with professional work and care. Full cleanup each day after work and removal of debris each day so I didn’t have to look at or stumble over stuff.The craftsmen doing the jobs we’re capable of doing every job proficiently and quickly. Covid slowed down the schedule which took almost a year to complete, but no fault of GA Home Remodeling. It took months just to get some materials ordered in, and they are busy so had to wait to get worked into schedule. We are thrilled with the results and we’ll worth the wait!

2021-11-17We contracted with Georgia Home Remodeling to do our kitchen. Micheal came out and did some comprehensive planning and design work. We transitioned to Chris for the install. Anything that was lost in translation was easy to iron out. The company was very responsive to our wishes throughout the project. The final product is lovely. On a special note, Kevin, Gabe, Mark and Sean are a really great team. They are highly professional, courteous and focused on doing the job well. I would use them again or recommend them to a loved one. Five stars.

2021-11-01Chris and his guys at Georgia Home Remodeling were very professional and easy to work with. Being a stay at home mom, I liked that the same guys came everyday and worked so I felt safe and comfortable. They even took care of my 4 yr old while I was sick one day. They were very responsive to my needs and wants and made our bathroom remodel dreams come true!

2021-12-17I engaged Georgia Home Remodeling to tear out a fiberglass tub and reinstall a tiled shower. The craftsmanship on the tile install was excellent: the tile cuts were sharp, alignment of the tile placement were excellent and the grouting looks great. The glass door install was just superb. I will be calling GHR for the next project.

2021-07-29Complete remodel of master bath. Kevin and Gabe are awesome. Very professional and great attention to detail. They worked and communicated with us on every step. We now have a bathroom that looks like its in a 5-star hotel! Even the few minor issues with contractors were taken care of by Kevin and Gabe as well.

2019-05-23Georgia Home Remodeling did a great job with our remodel. They completed a master bath remodel with a new tile shower & frameless shower door, installed granite countertops in the kitchen and master bath, re-tiled the fireplace, and refinished the hardwoods on the main level. They also did a bunch of other odds and ends throughout our house - upgraded a bunch of light fixtures (chandeliers, vanity lights, ceiling fans, porch lights) throughout the house, installed blinds, installed a door in our basement, did some plumbing updates, and painted our sons bedroom. Chris was very good at communication throughout the job, and did a fantastic job working with our tight timeline, as we were waiting to move in until the job was complete. Ive done a couple of renovations before at different houses, and am very picky about details, but the crew of Kevin and Sean were the best wed ever had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get work done around the house!

2019-02-05We just wrapped up a complete kitchen renovation with Georgia Home Remodeling and we are very happy with the entire renovation process! Chris and his team were excellent to work with! Communication was always great and Chris was upfront and honest about any issues that needed to be addressed (our home is fairly old, so she had her quirks). We were so grateful to have a team of guys working at our home that were not only extremely knowledgeable and hard working, but also trustworthy, kind, respectful, and also who didnt mind our pets being out while they were working. :) We will definitely be calling Georgia Home Remodeling for future projects that we have planned.

2019-09-13I am extremely pleased with the work of Georgia Home Remodeling. I used GHR to add a covered back porch to my home, and to extend my concrete driveway. Chris Allen was very informative and responsive. The entire team was excellent, not only in their work but they were all very professional, friendly, and respectful. There were some problems with pulling permits, which were caused by the previous home owner, and had nothing to do with the project for which I hired GHR, but Chris & team went above and beyond in helping me get the problems worked out so we could proceed with my project. I cant say enough good things about GHR and would recommend them highly for any project.
