Scheduled an appointment for a Saturday afternoon test drive of a new CR-V. Drove 45 minutes to get there 15 minutes early. With gas prices as they are...imagine my disdain to find not only did they have no idea I was coming, (I have the email and text confirmation for the scheduled appointment)but failed to contact me they had sold the CR_V and had no new one to test drive. I wasted nearly 2 hours and gallons of gas. To make it worse, they cared NOT at all. Find another dealer that values your time and you!
From first contact to walking out the door with the keys to my new car was by far the best car purchasing experience Ive ever had. My salesman, Darwin Wright, was very respectful of my time and contact needs throughout the process and was a true pleasure to work with. The vehicle was very fairly priced and I was working with around 7 other dealerships to come up with a better price, a few were close, one was even slightly better, but I ultimately stuck with Gerald Jones Honda because of the pleasurable experience Id had with them up to that point. I am glad I did, my end cost was the best price of any quote I had gotten and they gave me the best value for my trade-in.Mark Pierce in finance had all my documents ready, explained them thoroughly, and had me in and out quickly. He asked me once about an extended warranty, which I declined, and he never mentioned it again. He did not try and push Honda financing on me and answered any questions I had in detail. Every other experience Ive had before this one they had always tried to up-sell me on things I didnt need, such as GAP and extended warranties, not so with Gerald Jones Honda.I drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to this dealership to close the deal and do not regret my decision. Everything they told me through previous contact was honored when I got to the dealership to finalize my deal, no surprises from them. I left the dealership feeling appreciated and like I had gotten a great deal, no buyers remorse from me. I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family and will definitely consider them in the future should I be back in the market for a vehicle. Thank you Darwin and everyone else at Gerald Jones Honda for making me feel like a very valued customer!!!
Buyer beware and I do mean beware iam lucky to know the automobile business otherwise this dealership will rake you over the coals I got a prior appraisal for a lease buy out of 9000 in my pocket from Jim Hudson acura thought I would get one more appraisal done mr rdx is in pristine condition and they knocked me down, to 8000 in my pocket gsm doesn’t talk to customers I has to deal with Richard Byrd and Scott who were very helpful except when it came to negotiate my lease buy out they want my car badly they will get it only if we can come to terms for an even buyout they will easily ask 50000 dollars for my car they won’t be getting it for what there offering my advice to anyone be smart shop around and don’t leave any deposits
Called about a part number and even tho I am to poor to afford there services they where willing to help and give me the info I needed to pull one myself to get my friend back on the road super kind. Thank you all would recommend to anyone, especially over the idiot at Aiken Honda who told me they would help but when I said I could afford to shop threw them told me even tho they was looking right at the part number couldnt give it to me but could give me prices to buy threw them. Thanks gerald Jones Honda your a blessing and glad good dealerships do still exzist!!!!!!
Brought my civic si in for service did a good job until I tried to do an oil change. Theres a reason why you do NOT use air tools for the drain plug. It mushrooms the washer and cant get the dam thing off. Believe it or not that drain bolt is 50 bucks. Wont be back Id rather shop around for a certified Honda tech who actually cares. My bill while I did have service was around 650 because i got a re-seal the engines chain inspection cover. Still dont like the lazy auto practices they obviously do here.
After taking my vehicle for an oil change only (10:00am appt). Its 12:00 noon and Im still waiting. After inquiring about it, I was told that they were shorthanded, which I can understand. At no time I updated on the situation. After that it didnt take no time to get my vehicle. It was a total lack of communication on the dealerships part. Not too happy.
My wife brought her pilot in for a OIL change at 8:15 and the told her it might take 3 hours if you drop it off. She showed up at 2:00 and they havent even started on it told her there are cars ahead of hers still because she dropped it off.I dont care if you are dropping the vehicle off or not it should never take 6 plus hours to change the oil. Taking my business somewhere else!
This was my third car purchase at Gerald Jones. This time we worked with Lou Williams and he was great. He helped us find exactly what we wanted quickly and then worked diligently on our behalf to help get us where we needed to be financially. Of course there were a few back and forth negotiations, but that’s to be expected. Lou was attentive, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
I like the new lounge area because its set up where we are still able to social distance ourselves from each other. Also, the convenience of outlets for electronic devices. In my opinion, the area is spacious and one of the largest and nicest lounges Ive seen in years. Also, I like having the same service advisor (Donteice) so we can consistently know whats going on with the health of my vehicle. He provides excellent customer service with a smile every time I come to get my car serviced. I appreciate his kindness and knowledge of my car especially with everything that‘s going on in the world.
They are VERY nice and helpful. The Service Department was very helpful and very nice and flexible and worked around my busy schedule to get something done on my car. And Joe helped me find a car that I love! He was very nice and the whole team seemed to be very trustworthy and helpful.
Gerald Jones Honda had exactly what we were looking for and the team there provided great pricing and great service to get us on the road with big smiles on our faces. Shout out to Christine, Jeff, Mark, and Tony.I was able to handle most of the process long distance by e-mail and text. When we arrived they were ready with the car that we wanted at the numbers wed agreed upon.My wife and I usually avoid car dealerships as much as possible, but we both agreed this was a great experience and worth the drive.Good job team. I bought a New Honda Pilot in 2016 and in the 5 years I’ve had the car, I’ve had to have 3 major repairs performed. The latest repair is to replace the camshaft, which they are charging me $2300 for. I only have about 80,000 miles on this car. I thought Hondas were supposed to be good quality cars. I will be taking my car for a trade-in elsewhere after this repair. This was my first and last Honda.
Today was my first time getting an oil change in my 2021 Honda Accord Sport. The service was fast and very professional. Michael assisted me and was very helpful. The only reason why I give them a 4 star is because I was not told the day before of the process of what to do when I brought my car for service.
DO NOT BUY A NEW CAR FROM HERE!!! DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! Poor customer service skills.(3 years ago - updated 2021 below)I bought my brand new 2008 Accord from here off the show room and the car has turned out to be a let down and they do not care at all. My car broke down last week and I took it to the Honda dealership in Lexington SC and they were awesome there- very understanding, sympathetic and even got me a rental replacement no charge due to my alternator going out. They let me know my engine was leaking oil and that needed to be repaired.I get it back to Gerald Jones Honda and they want to charge $3500 when THEY JUST REBUILT THE ENGINE THEMSELVES TWO YEARS AGO. If their engines only last two years, that to me is not a good track record. The car has had multiple problems and continues to have problems that they have supposedly fixed. When talking to them about all the issues and repairs and times my car has broken down and left me stranded by myself in Atlanta, Columbia, Augusta, etc. their response was Oh, well we can only see in our system where it was serviced at our location. As if they didnt believe me. I told them I had all the paperwork from the other Honda dealerships where my car has been taken- they didnt care. And when told that their brand new car we purchased only lasted not even 10years, they responded with Well some cars dont even make it 10 years. In which I responded with my husbands 97 Chevy hasnt had the engine rebuilt once.Bottom line is there was no sympathy or care for the customer, whatsoever. I asked for a rental car and they wouldnt even give me that- not even for a day. Much less the whole entire holiday weekend that I am now car-less. I just think that says a lot about them when I just last week spent a pile of money and they are now asking for $3500 more. Not to mention all the other repairs the car has had by HONDA in the last 2 YEARS!Update. Purchased a BMW two years ago and it’s been great. Best service experience ever. Highly recommend.Update. Went to pick up a friend from Honda service who had a scheduled stay and wait appointment for a recall. She got there. Waited forever in line. Then was told that her car would be all day and that she would have to leave it. She had to reschedule another “scheduled” appointment. She had to travel from Thomson.
Predatory buying practices on used cars!!!!!!!Make sure you check Carmax or Carvana before selling your vehicle to them.I went in offering up a car I had purchased previously from Gerald Jones that was CPO. This was after Gerald Jones reached out to me saying they would love to buy the car back!! The cars condition has not changed much since purchase (only added 11k miles over 2 years). The first offer they gave me was well below market value (over $3000 below the last offer they gave me). They cited it would cost $700 for tires and $300 for a battery. Its a base model Civic, they deal in these cars so I cant imagine dealer cost is near as much to fix those items. Plus lets be honestly theyre not going to replace those anyways and would gladly pass on the price to the customer. They also claimed they couldnt get near my initial number since new cars go for only a couple thousand more. What new cars? I didnt see any on the lot, if the dealership is dying for used cars they could at least not give insulting offers.TLDR:I would feel uncomfortable sending anyone who isnt able to negotiate properly on a vehicle to this dealership. Sell your car elsewhere Carvana offered me 1.7k more and Carmax offered me 1.2k more without me having to negotiate. Lost me as a customer and I will warn others of the same.
I live in Savannah, but have driven to Evans to purchase my last two cars from Gerald Jones Honda. Both times I have been impressed with their service and I got a great deal on my cars. Most recently I purchased an Accord Hybrid and I love it. Richard Byrd helped me find the right car. He was knowledgeable and helpful! I would highly recommend them and Im sure Ill be back whenever I need a new vehicle.
The staff is warm and friendly. I loved the person I worked with when I brought my car in. His name was Paul and he went the extra mile for me. I had an issue with my odometer which was covered under warranty. Paul was able to coordinate the parts arrival date with my work schedule to get it replaced. He was informative, patient, and understanding of my needs and limited schedule. I wouldnt imagine bringing my car anywhere else based off the service I received.
I give 2 stars for Service! I scheduled service ahead of time because I have a 1 year old. I don’t have family here so I have to bring him. I’ve waited for 2 1/2 hours and it’s still not serviced!!! I’m still waiting outside with a cranky 1 year old! Rediculous! I could change my own and oil faster but it needs to be in the system! No one from service has checked on us! No text updates as promised! Mr. William (Salesman) is amazing! He checked on us! So needless to say, I won’t be trading here!! Just got car back after asking several times. It was $180.86 for alignment and oil change!
Recently took in my 2009 CRV in as all 3 of my brake lights were out. Was shocked to be charged $275 in labor just to change bulbs. I usually have the majority of my repairs done there but I will definitely need to find an alternative.Update***The service manager reviewed my invoice and agreed that the labor charges were excessive. I have been issued a $250 service credit! I plan to remain a loyal customer.
I went to get a simple oil change today and it took over 2hrs. I waited patiently in the waiting area and after almost 2hrs I went to see why was it taking so long. My oil had not been drained from car yet as I looked on and could actually see what the mechanic was doing. Complained to the manager Tony Suthpin and he was very arrogant more less rude! No customer skills, he had the audacity to ask if I wanted an application to apply for a mechanic job! I wouldn’t never buy a car from there and certainly I will NOT be going back. Poor service don’t waste your time!
I made an appointment for 9am this Saturday for a warranty extension for issues with my starter which I’ve been having for a few months. I told them I was waiting for my car when I made this appointment over 2 weeks ago. I got to the dealership at 9am and the line was extremely long. I waited and finally got to the window and was told this would take all day-they had 80 appointments. I drove 45min to be told this. I should have been told I needed to leave my car all day because, as many people, I work 5 days a week and I have things to do on the weekend and had made prior plans. I was asked if I could drop it off on a weekday, but as previously stated, I work over 45min away and don’t have that luxury of dropping my car off during the week. I would take it elsewhere in a heartbeat, but feel Honda needs to fix this problem with my starter. I have never used their service center, nor will I in the future. I had to be rescheduled to drop my car off at night after work and get it hopefully, the next evening. Mad is an understatement. I understand it’s the weekend and many people need their car serviced, but don’t schedule 80 appointments in one day when clearly, you can’t handle that.
I give them 2 stars because of the communication games and lack of follow through during my experience. I was trying to purchase an used car from them the day it posted online. Spoke to the sales manager Vickie who said someone named Michael would reach out to me the same day. Next day I reclicked the contact link and another sales person called me which I was thankful for. I had to continue to reach out for an update because the vehicle was in service getting tires put on. After a daily check in for the week, I received a call for them to tell me the car sold somehow.
Gerald Jones Honda is one of the biggest dealers in our area; as such it was disappointing to see them operate in the bait and switch mode typical of the old-time used car dealer. On April 29, I visited Gerald Jones Honda and negotiated a price of $24.3K with the salesman Lou Williams for a new Honda Accord Sport that included dealer options of: Synchronize tracking device, First Place Finish, Splash Guard Set Trunk Tray and Wheel locks on the 19” wheels. For the First Place Finish, the salesman gave me two boxes of First Place Finish auto detailing products, shown below, with the verbal assurance that should anything happen to the car’s finish or upholstery, Gerald Jones would replace the part if they could not fix it to my satisfaction. The Business Manager repeated this assurance during the signing process.After sitting in the show room for what appeared to be an eternity, I was led into the business office where I went through signing an interminable set of slips of papers of a variety of colors. After rechecking the arithmetic on the papers while at home, I noticed that I had signed a sheet surreptitiously added $700.00 to the cost. This corresponded to the cost of the Synchronize tracking unit that had been originally negotiated in the total cost of the vehicle.On May 11, I contacted the GM Mark Boyd about the double payment of the Synchronize product. He invited me to return with the assurance that he would resolve the matter. In his attempted resolution on May 12, Mr. Boyd indicated that he was making a profit of only $400.00 on the sale of the vehicle and could not refund me the $700.00 that had been added back. In addition I noticed an unsolicited Master Tech service had been included at a cost of $375.00.It was during this meeting only after I requested documentation to verify the First Place Finish agreement that was I given a contract signed by Mark Boyd for the First Place Finish valued at $795.00. In addition, I was told that I would be receiving a coupon book for the Master Tech service contract, which incidentally never came. I requested and subsequently received a refund for this service, one that was limited only to services performed at Gerald Jones.Over a series of follow up exchanges with Gerald Jones Honda and LandAirSea the vendor of the Synchronize tracking unit, I learned from LandAirSea that the unit designated for my car was not installed in my vehicle but was rather in another vehicle that was in the vicinity of the dealership. LandAirSea subsequently sent via FedEx a tracking unit that is currently installed in my vehicle, and LandAirSea updated their records to reflect the new unit.Overall this has been a very disappointing experience with what at first appeared to be a reputable company with honorable employees. Currently, I am still in the process of taking action to recover the cost of the tracking unit for which I have paid twice.To potential Gerald Jones Honda customers beware of these folks they still operate in the mode of the old-time used car salesman.To Gerald Jones, HONESTY and TRANSPARENCY are the key to trust and to a long and fruitful business relationship. You have lost me as a potential customer; one who will recount this story to anyone who would listen whenever the subject of cars arises. I would rather travel to Atlanta or even out of state before I purchase a car from any of your dealerships.
I scheduled an appointment online several days ago for an oil change and to get a recall fixed with the fuel pump. I called yesterday to change my appointment to an earlier time, but still today. All they told me was to show up with a quarter of a tank of gas or less, and that it would take 2-2.5 hours tops. Fast forward to today, I’m checking in, and they tell me that they hadn’t ordered the parts needed to fix the recall and that I would have to come back. I live in Statesboro, and only came to the dealership in Augusta because I work up here. This would have been nice to know yesterday when I called; better yet, if they knew then that the parts weren’t in, to tell me before I took a half day off work. So I’m going back to my original dealership in Savannah to get the recall fixed (where they actually have the parts on hand). So I say one star for service due to the lack of communication.
I have had the worst experience with 2 different salesman. When you are a woman they will sell you anything. I traded a 2018 brand new Toyota Corolla 26,000 miles payment was 333 on my brand new car long story short I wanted a Honda truck, so I do a trade in only to get a Hyundai truck that has the axle rusted out so they can fall anytime the truck had 87,000 miles and 420 on payment. cool, got the truck and been having problems since I got the truck . The wheel barrel messed up plus the axle. My warranty want cover the axle but will cover wheel barrel which I’m not understanding took the car to Hyundai they say it’s regular wore out so I’m confused who telling me the truth. Im so overwhelmed with paying for a car have to be fixed. I have had the car a year but they trying to wait until it runs out of the warranty. Have anyone else been thought this before? How did you get through it?
Jeff Hennen and Lou Williams were nothing shy of amazing when it came to helping me find the best vehicle for me at the best price. It was my first car buying experience and while the process seemed intimidating, they made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. Lou was attentive to my car buying needs and incredibly well-versed on the vehicles. He not only made the car buying process seamless, but even helped me set up some of the features of the car, walked me through how to use them, and even made sure I knew how to get home as I am new to the area. I cannot recommend them enough, they really make you feel at home.
Mr. William Walker, upon learning I was having trouble with my car, came out to my home personally to ensure I was able to make it safely to the dealership. He stayed with me through every step until my car was ready to go and told me to give him a call if I ever needed anything. Thats quality service and I know Ill be buying from him in the future!
Took my car in for an oil change. Ask the service lady if I need to pull in for service. She said yes. So I drove in. Got out and waited for for 2 minutes, with no acknowledgement or any attempt to help me. I mean she must of seen me. And her coworker made eye contact with me but nothing. I just got back into my 2014 Honda Accord and backed out and left. It wasnt even that busy, I was able to back out all the way from the front.Took my car to Take 5 oil change. Now, thats customer service! Too bad I couldnt leave a zero star.
I made an online service appointment to get my oil changed and tires rotated for 10:30 last Saturday with the option to wait while being serviced. We arrived at 10:15, drove into the service area, and checked in indicating verbally that we were waiting on site. At 12:30, I noticed all of the other customers who came in after us were leaving. I went to the service desk and there was a nice guy eating his lunch who stopped to help me. He couldnt find my car anywhere! He personally walked into the work area and came back. Finally the lady who checked us in looked for 5 more minutes and said that - oh they entered you in as a drop off- and your car is still sitting in the parking lot. She checked us in herself. No- Im sorry for our mistake, Can we reschedule or give you a free service- NOTHING! We drove over an hour in the first place so we got our keys & left. I called back and left a voicemail for the service manager with no return call. 3 days later I left a voicemail for the dealership manager with no return call. I guess we are not values customers. We have bought 3 Honda vehicles from Gerald Jones Honda with excellent service. We love our Hondas and drive them well into the 300,000 to 400,000 mile range so we service them regularly. But I hope we never have to go back again. I would not purchase another Honda from them. Worst customer service experience at Gerald Jones Honda ever!
Getting someone to answer the phone in service department is a joke.Call the main number and very friendly receptionist transfers you to a line that rings and rings until it loops back to the friendly receptionist!Call the service representative and call goes to answering machine but no one calls you back.New digital scheduling assistant is an even bigger disappointment. Never informs you of the status of your service or repair.I have purchased 5 cars from Gerald Jones. Unfortunately the service has become so bad I would not recommend them to anyone nor will I purchase a Honda from them ever again
Purchased a 2012 Honda Pilot and everything went very well thru the whole process. It was a 5 star sale. It went bad after reviewing paper work after sale. We decided to purchase extended warranty and during this they added in a dealer installed accessory some thief device. I signed the extended warranty on a electronic and never presented with the dealer installed item thru the whole sale process and used that electronic signature for the extended warranty for the dealer installed item that I did not want at $599.00. Just beware we missed and signed for it I thought it was greatly deceptive
Maybe it was a blessing. I purchased from another car dealership. Got a more expensive car, paid less down, and they still beat Gerald Jones payments! Just not a good experience. Especially when your sales person is always referring to you as his sister. Not!! My sister this, My sister that. Not professional at all!
Just bought my dream car today with the help of Donald Ivey. He was courteous and knowledgeable and really helped me get the exact vehicle I wanted and at the price I wanted. I would definitely recommend him to help you out. Gerald Jones was a breath of fresh air especially after I got jerked around by so many other dealership first. I was so happy everything went smooth and everyone was helpful. It was a great experience. 10 put of 10 stars.
We just bought our first Honda here yesterday. It was personally my first time buying a car! We had a wonderful experience. They were friendly, not too pushy, and quick with the process. I highly recommend asking for Mitchell Anderson. He did a great job and answered any questions we had! Love the new car!
I purchased a certified 2017 Honda Pilot in 2019 and at that time I was told that the vehicle had a clean car fax report because it was certified. This past weekend I decided to upgrade to a 2022 Honda Odyssey and trade my Pilot, however after the vehicle appraisal process it was brought to my attention that my Pilot had an accident in 2018 that was showing on the carfax report. This omission by the dealership and the salesman cost me greatly on my trade in. Very disappointed being that I have been a loyal supporter of this dealership with several car purchases.
Do NOT go here for service if you expect it to be quick. “Express Service” is anything but that. Figured I’d get a “quick” oil change since I was on that side of town after work. From drop off to pick up it took an hour and 10 minutes. No explanation given. That is not express at all. Would have been quicker to go to one of these quick oil change shops then to this dealer for misleading service advertisements. Highly disappointed. Will more than likely be going elsewhere from now on. Do not use for quick service.
My dear old Dad taught me never to buy new, always to buy used.Even he approves of my brand new 2020 Honda Insight.Marquez Brown put up with my shrewd businesswoman antics (I was absolutely hellbent on purchasing a preowned). I was given an offer I could not refuse and ended up trading in my Pilot for Miles, a brand new Cosmic Blue Touring model Insight Hybrid with a 100,000 mile warranty and an almost nonexistent finance rate. Marquez was patient enough to show my technologically challenged self how all the bells and whistles work and even went as far as move my office (I work on the road) from my Pilot to my new car. I cant say enough about Gerald Jones Honda giving me an offer I couldnt refuse. If you think you cant afford a new car, think again. Just ask for Marquez Brown and/or Manager Robert Law, who made it happen for me. I can now put 15,000 miles a year on my car knowing I am saving $ getting 40-50 miles per gallon, my repairs are covered, my bank account will be okay, and I am driving a hybrid that looks and drives nothing like a hybrid. Thank you for the excellent customer service!
I want to thank Ryan for his patients, understanding and the best customer service ever! I had my starter replaced at Gerald Jones Honda on the 26th of May. I asked before fixing the car was a warranty showing on my car. I was told no, he didnt see a warranty. Therefore, I had to pay out of pocket. Fast forward, I knew I had an warranty on my car, so, after coming back in town, I pulled my paperwork took it back to Ryan, because I purchased the car through Gerald Jones Subaru, the information for some unknown reason was not pulling over to the service department. But with no hesitation and hassle, Ryan took very good care of me! Not often you go any where this day and time and get great customer service. But. this is the second time I have dealt with Ryan and both times he took very good care me without any hesitation or hassle. Many thumbs up to you Ryan!!! This makes me glad I bought a car from Gerald Jones Subaru.
Great experience with the service department. Robby was amazing and very helpful. He took care of our business and we were in and out of the place. Richard at the service front desk gave us an A+++ service too. He even walked us all the way to the parts department and waited on us until we got help.
Beyond frustrated with my 2019 Honda CR-V and the service of Gerald Jones Honda.A roaring noise was reported at the second service appointment in Dec 2019 (a few months after the initial purchase in April 2019).The tech noted uneven tread wear in the notes and mentioned that it could be a defect with the tires.I requested a tire warranty and was told they wouldnt approve it as they sell those plans but proving it and getting a warranty replacement almost never happens.April 2020-the roaring noise only getting louder and I was told that this issue was likely due to the car needing a tire rotation.I had purchased the maintenance plan and informed the tech that I had a tire rotation every time it was recommended.Another alignment was mentioned.I offered to let them do the alignment but they mentioned that they had an alignment machine that checked the alignment when you pull in and this did not indicate a problem.Yet another visit with no resolution.October 2020.The tech said it needed an alignment. Informed him of the last visit.Then a tire rotation. Informed him of every tire rotation since.He could tell we were frustrated and began to open up about the situation.He said Honda CR-Vs have a common tire wearing issue due to the suspension of the vehicle.The cupping that was showing on my tires as early as a few thousand miles was indicative of this suspension wearing. We took my car to a third-party mechanic who made this note,Dealer says they need an alignment.Customer hears roaring noise.Alignment is good and roaring noise is due to cupping on tires. Cupping is indicative of suspension/struts and shock issues. Vehicle is under manufacturer’s warranty and need to be addressed at local dealership.Following this report, we tried calling Gerald Jones service to speak with their General Manager(GM) and Service Manager(SM) with no response. We once got hung up on after explaining the issue. Without satisfaction here, we filed a case with Honda Corporate and were told to follow up with our next service.April 22nd. We dropped the car off at 8:30 a.m. explicitly asking that the roaring noise be looked at.The noise is so bad now that you cant carry on a conversation or talk on the phone.We were called at 2 p.m. and told that it needed alignment...exactly what we had been told every other time.We informed the tech of this, again, and asked again that someone drive the car.Never got a call. We tried calling the SM and the Tech with no callback. We ended up just driving to the dealership at almost 6 p.m. to figure out what was going on with my car.We sat down with the SM and Lane Manager (LM). They both seemed willing to help and the SM agreed to drive the car. When he returned,he said there was no alignment issue and that the noise in the car was the loudest he had ever heard in his years working with cars. He said he thought it was a left front wheel bearing and asked that we bring the car back on Monday to get it fixed.We returned the car on Monday, April 26th at 8:30 a.m.The SM called saying that the wheel bearing wasnt the issue and its not the alignment.He explained that the wear on the tires was something he had not seen before and that he was going to push Honda to comp two tires - which he was sure they would do.We stated that since this had been a documented issue since the first December 2019 visit, we wanted all 4 tires comped because we should have been able to do the tire warranty if it were a true issue with the tires. We were told that we would be contacted by Wednesday, April 28th at the latest.No call Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (today).We called the SM, LM, Tech.We told the Operator that we had tried to contact them numerous times and had not been contacted back.We finally got a call back from the tech saying the best they could do was if we purchased 3 tires, they would allow the 4th one to be purchased for $50 with a free alignment.Gerald Jones Honda does not respect its customers.The Service Manager, Andy, doesnt even have the decency to call his customers back and explain the situation to them.
Bought a Civic here a few years back and got a fair price and no complaints with the deal or the service center. Came back to trade in the Civic for a newer model and the manager was very impersonal and abrasive. My wife and I laugh every time we receive junk mail from them knowing we will never buy another vehicle from them. As far as the service center is concerned, again, no complaints. I would recommend that aspect of the dealership.
Service is a 1 star! I made an appointment on Sunday for Monday morning at 9:30 to drop it off. The lady that helped us told us by dropping it off we would still be in line as if we were waiting for it. By 2pm my advisor Kenny still had not called me so I called him. They put me on hold for 15 minutes so I hung up and called back only to be told he is busy. We go up there and he is sitting at his desk not doing anything and told me they have not even looked at my car yet 😳. I spoke with the manager and told him I don’t want Kenny to be my advisor anymore because he doesn’t communicate with his customers and he was supposed to call me with updates on my vehicle. About an hour later guess who calls me Kenny 🤬. If I was buying a vehicle they would have called me 100 times in an hour, he could have at least called me to give an update. My vehicle is a 2020 and by reading other customers reviews and they are having the same issues Honda should recall them!
Brought my car to them for a airbag recall. After six hours when told two, I get my car back to find the aux. Power port isnt working. Call them and Im told they will fix it BUT if they find it wasnt their fault I will be charged. It was working just fine until I left my car with them and whoever worked on it has to know it was working cause they disconnected the Garman and phone charger. Im not mad about the time it took but I am extremely upset that they messed something up on my car and had the nerve to respond with that! No thank you! How can I trust you with my car after this?? Id give no Star!!!
I purchased a car in JANUARY and still have not received a tag! The sells team was very nice tho. Now, Excuses about the system was updated and titles have not been received... I have called only to receive another”second”(tag extension) for another month!!! After they recalled information that was not me!!!.Given me another address and county but said I cld pick up from the county!! I am not happy at all about the registration dept. at Gerald Jones Honda.. I was thinking about extending busy with them but that’s not going to happen.Shanarian Smith!!!! Needed the source of my battery drain diagnosed. Already paid a mechanic that followed the drain to the backup ACC fuse. Saw the multimeter prove that with my own eyeballs. ....assumed Honda could find the accessory thats malfunctioning/pinpoint the drain. Just paid $156 + tow + lyft for these professional mechanics to not even get as far as the fuse box. Wanted $450 more and couldnt even tell me the fuse that I KNOW is the start of the problem. 👎Crooks. 💰If looking for any type of service, Id trust a high school dropout that sometimes changes oil for extra cash on the side before Id consider this dealership.
Went there to get my new Accord door looked at. Was told I would have to wait until manager was back Monday. The assistant manager was there. Why should I have to wait. Just bought the car and not even a thousand miles is on it. Door is not aligned properly and the guy told me that nothing is wrong with it. Stevie Wonder can see it is not right. Shouldve bought from Honda Cars of Aiken!!!
I was traveling to Augusta for business and my car air conditioning quit halfway between Charlotte and Columbia. 106 degrees with humidity, yall. In Columbia, they told me that it was an electrical problem and that I would need to take my car to a dealership. After sweatily arriving in Augusta, I figured out that Gerald Jones was the closest Honda dealership to my hotel. They also had excellent reviews.Those reviews were well deserved. My cars issues were more complex than previously realized. I received multiple calls a day from the dealership updating me on the status of my car. They finished their work in a shorter time than predicted and were able to get me a discount on my services because my car was so close to being in warranty. I was really concerned that I would be stranded in Augusta or that the repair would be thousands of dollars. In fact, my car was finished early, it now works perfectly, and the price was $300, $100 less than what was originally quoted due to coverage by an extended warranty agreement. This interaction was by far my best experience at a car dealership in the six years that I have owned a Honda. If I could bring my car to them for service all the time, I would.
My oil change experience was great! My service adviser was Josh and he took exceptional care of me. He kept me updated and even apologized for delays that he could not control. While I waited, I hung out in the sales area admiring cars, and the sales staff were friendly but not pushy at all. The overall vibe of Gerald Jones Honda is great! I felt very welcomed and will definitely give them my business in the future!
Jason Flanagan went above and beyond to help find a suitable vehicle for my fiancee and I. We had just moved into the area a day before and we had no sort of transportation. Jason came and picked us up and took us to the dealership. He showed us a couple varieties of cars and explained the difference terms of financing and leasing a vehicle. While being patient with us in determining the right financial route to take, Jason took the time to cater to our child by playing with him and offering him refreshments. We had spent several hours at the dealership in just trying to find the right car insurance and Jason went out of his way to look for us and find different companies. My fiancee and i were starting to become discouraged with the many high prices the insurance companies were providing us. It had become difficult with paying the lease in advance for the new 2017 Honda Civic EX and having to pay for the insurance being due at the same time, so to make it even more easier for us, Jason, and his boss Walter, told us to just take care of paying the insurance and to just pay them the lease in advance when we were to get paid next week. And, last, as an early Christmas gift, Jason and Walter provided us with a $200 check from Honda! We are beyond grateful and ecstatic to meet such a person who actually cares and tries to help. I have never had quite an experience like this and I am so blessed to have met Jason. I will definitely recommend Gerald Jones Honda to anyone and everyone! Especially to meet with Jason!! All We can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
Please dont sell your car here.My car has a KBB value of 10.4k (minimum) which I found out from CarMax after I met with a sales representative.In my meeting here I was offered 9k, even though I had been given the offer of 10-10.5k over the phone (same person mind you). After reminding the person (not using names because I have less of an issue with the sexist guy that assumed my bf would help pay the difference on my car, and more of an issue with them cheating customers with their offers) I was told they would honor the 10k offer but would go no higher. All I asked was enough to pay off the car 11.3k... that was apparently too much.I left there with my car and have now sold it to carvana for 12.2k and could have given it to CarMax for 11.2k.I get that they want to add commission on top or whatever, but trying to bully me by saying itll only keep depreciating in value so I might as well and telling me that thats just what they go for in the area?? Obviously not. Please do your research.
I bought my 2013 Pilot here a couple of years ago. The staff was very nice and actually will leave you alone to look at cars until you approach them. Thats the main reason I think people like to vehicle shop late at night or on Sundays. We hate being followed around or pressure from salespeople. So I really appreciated being left alone until I had questions. Although maybe I looked like I couldnt afford a new car since I had torn shorts and a really faded t-shirt on. I had been working on my lawnmower earlier and suppose I did appear quite grungy. Well I did purchase a car that day so like they say never judge a book. Enjoy your new vehicle. I love my Honda
Walter was great! We had to order my car from another dealership and it took a few days (holiday weekend) but he kept me informed every step of the way. When it did get here, he made sure it was in top shape before he let me head out the door. Great experience at Gerald Jones, would recommend a friend!
Buying a car can’t be fun, can it? You bet it can. Gerald Jones Honda was amazing to work with. I had a price point in mind and I went to the dealership thinking I was in for a few hours work. On the way in, I ran into a friend who was at the dealership for an oil change. He introduced me to Nichole Hewitt, his sales person for his past few cars, but she was busy with another customer. So I went to the sales manager desk and even those guys there were pretty cool. They were getting a sales associate for me, when Nichole finished up with her customer. Once they linked me up with her, it was smooth sailing. I told her what my wife wanted and after checking their inventory, they didn’t have it on site. She told her manager what I was looking for and they located a match. Not only am I getting the car my wife wanted at a great price point, they threw in a couple of freebies as well. That is not the experience I expected. I just wanted to say thanks to the Nichole and the rest of the Gerald Jones Sales team for a great deal.
I had a bad experience with Gerald Jones Honda, the manager there has no integrity. He agreed to pay my registration late fees, 15 months late, i was not able to register my car due to losing my passport, so NO GEORGIA LICENSE, with my Illinois license i could not do it. He lied to me said fees were 1850. That i needed 1000. Right away or no plates, he treated me poorly knowing that i am a disabled veteran , he is a rude man and has no integrity because that was wrong. I got a loan and paid off my loan to Honda financial. They made 3 sales out of me but they lost me as a customer.
My husband and I just recently bought a new car- and it was a wonderful experience. You can tell from the moment you step foot on the lot that they are centered on customer service. We worked with Keith Thomas who was wonderful and patient throughout the entire time. We could not be happier with the vehicle we left with or the experience we had!
The process was super easy. We shopped online, and right off the bat they gave us one of the best and most competitive price, with no hassle. I did let them know the price I got from another dealership, and they agreed to beat it.Kendall our sales person was very knowledgeable about the product, and showed my wife and I nearly all the features on the vehicle.We did have a mishap in the Finance office with the pricing going up much more than we were originally quoted. The Sales manager Monte came in and explained how it was his mistake, and he would honor the price that we agreed upon and drove the hour there for. Also the Finance Manager Walter, explained everything regarding our warranties perfect, and the paperwork went flawless.Needless to say with the service that we received we will most defiantly be back there for many more vehicles.If you are looking for a super easy purchase of a vehicle, contact these guys.Lastly their selection of vehicles is better than most Honda dealers through SC, and Eastern GA, as they were the only ones that had the color vehicle we truly wanted.
Got my final maintenance coupon used. I am always impressed with the care given to my vehicle. The service personnel treat my vehicle as if it were their own. I also appreciate the customer lounge. I know its called the waiting room, but I can relax, read, have a cup or coffee or two, and visit with other customers. Sounds like lounging to me. I am grateful to all of the personnel at Gerald Jones Honda, and I am looking forward to my complimentary car wash & Customer Appreciation Picnic this Saturday.
It was my first time there. The gentleman who greeted me when I entered was so nice and thorough. He offered to bring my car in for me, and showed me where the restrooms and waiting area were. I wish I remembered his name. Mr. Kitchens kept me updated on the status and progress of my Pilot. He helped me obtain what I needed from the parts department as well. Every department I came in contact with was so very nice! My Pilot is running much better now! Thank you!
I called Don Ray the morning of and he didnt hesitate to have me bring my car right in...I was so relieved! He is the best Service Advisor, ever!The problem was diagnosed expediently and my wait was less than an hour!I was always leery of taking my car to a dealership for repairs, just didnt trust them as I felt they would gouge me! Don has single handily changed my attitude, I trust Him and that is so important. It was a good day at the dealership!
I appreciate Ryans patience in answering all of my questions, getting me quotes on the work I needed done, calling to let me know what needed to be done immediately and what could be postponed. The service is always phenomenal and when I drove my car away it felt like a new car and I felt safe knowing that Honda had taken care of it!

David Kitchens has been my service advisor for years and has always provided excellent customer service. There have been times when things didnt check out right and Ive had to take my car back and he made sure I was given a loaner car to use until it was fixed. There are advisors that arent so customer friendly, one main one comes to mind; therefore, I make sure all appointments are made with David. I highly recommend requesting him and you wont be dissatisfied!
Its super easy to make an appointment in the app. Its nice to be able to drive into the facility and take my child out of the car (hes a runner, hed be all over the lot Outside) Theres a nice little playroom with a door so I didnt spend the entire time chasing my toddler down. The bathroom was clean and had a changing table with a trash can nearby. Staff was super friendly and everyone said hi to my toddler who loves saying hello and goodbye (hes just learning to talk)
Today I purchased a 2017 Honda Pilot Touring and had the BEST experience ever at the dealership!!! In my experience some major car dealership sales consultants are very pushy and super assertive but James Williamson was a breath of fresh air. From introduction and all the way till we closed the deal he was super courteous and displayed great customer service. The managers were nice as well explaining the finance portion of getting the deal done. Overall my experience with Gerald Jones Honda was EXCELLENT!! Everyone and eveeything here exceeded my expectations!

This place has my mixed review. We bought our Honda Pilot here and have been back several times looking at used vehicles with my older children. We have not been impressed with any of the General sales persons. Unprofessional, inexperienced in sales and general lack of emotional intelligence. I recommend speaking to a manager. We walked in to buy our Pilot with a pre-approved loan and having conducted research on pricing. We told our salesman these things up front and gave him our offer with our research. He wasted over an hour and a half of our time before bringing back a total horrible offer totally off basis. We walked and drove home. On the way home the manager called and said sorry, there must have been a miscommunication. Please come back and we can work the offer we had given. Long story short, overall sales experience horrible every time we have visited, Sales Manager good and professional.
I drove out of Gerald Jones Honda a very happy woman. Mr Walker III is a fantastic salesman. He was helpful, attentive, and focused on the needs of my family. Never pushy or aggressive, he wanted me to be happy and he worked really hard to find something for me. Additionally, Mr. Daniell was super flexible and supportive with the financing. This was a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this dealership, and especially this team! I got everything I wanted and more! Everyone is impressed with my Odyssey!
I sent my vehicle in to be serviced for a brake issue by Gerald Jones Honda. They asked for $311.95 to evaluate and repair my vehicle. They also offered me a $5300 estimate to trade in my vehicle. I declined the trade in, and I paid for the service received. I was issued a receipt claiming my vehicle was repaired. I drove my vehicle on the Highway and my brake system failed and began to lock up within 15 minutes of leaving the dealership. I returned to the dealership and my brakes were smoking when I arrived. I notified the service attendant, reviewed my paperwork, and noticed my vehicle was only a 1-mile difference from the time I brought it in on the paperwork. They did not properly check my brakes or even test drove it. I was told it would be taken care of. After 3 weeks nothing was done except the mechanic damaging another part of my brake system and asking me to pay $5700 to replace the part and repair my brakes from the damage that was done when I left. I refused and attempted to speak to the general manager and service manager. They offered to pay half to restore my vehicle to the condition I brought it in initially. Then I tried to negotiate a trade in, and they offered me $1500. $3800 less then when I brought it in because of the damage they caused. I have been without my primary vehicle for 5 weeks and they are refusing to take responsibility for claiming to have repaired and test my vehicle when clearly, they did not. They will not properly check your vehicle and will risk you and your family’s safety. Good luck!!!
I had a great experience. Called on Friday, got a Monday morning appointment. Came to the appointment, technicians quickly processed my car. Took about an hour for the service. I waited in a comfortable waiting room with coffee, water, and TV. A service representative got me, showed me the checklist and explained the results with emphasis on current tire tread depth and brake pad depth. Then I was on my way.
I had a decent experience with Gerald Jones in 2011, the last time I was looking for a car, although I didnt end up purchasing there. Recently, I was looking for a commuter vehicle so I could reduce the miles on our primary vehicles. I contacted the sales team about a used Honda Fit. Once I clicked the button to get the price, I ended up with multiple e-mails and about a dozen phone calls from different reps trying to upsell me to a new Fit. Not once was I able to get a sales price. I found out weeks later from a sales manager that it had gone to auction because it didnt meet their quality standards. I ended up buying a CR-V elsewhere. I was not a fan of the sales teams tactics.
My experience involves an airbag recall which involved a period of time that extended into two months. During this period I was treated very exceptional by the dealership and my service representative Mr. Don Ray. Mr. Ray explained my options with this recall clearly. Once I had made a decision he and the dealership provide the resources necessary to complete the repairs in a timely manner. Throughout this experience he was courteous and attentive to my situation. I would highly recommend this service representative and dealership.
Experience superior to that which I received on my first visit. Friendly, helpful customer service. Didnt know the battery in my 2014 Accord needed to be replaced until service notified me. This added some time to my service visit, but well worth having it replaced (under warranty) so I wouldnt be stranded somewhere else later. Thank you for looking out for your customers not only upon purchase but afterwards as well.
Purchased a 2014 honda pilot that had 1 previous owner. Steve pickerin was my sales rep and my experience with him was about 3.8 stars out of 5. Somewhat knowledgable about the cars he showed us. He was friendly and helped us to the best of his ability. However, his boss, tony, was less then a 1 star for me. He constantly kept telling steve what to do. Showed us cars we expressed we were not interested in barely worked with the price with us and put the car title in my name even though it was my wifes car. On top of that once we left the lot Ive had to put an additional 800-1000 dollars into the car. It had a coolant leak, tires were not rotated or balanced, the car needed an alignment and i had to replace 2 of the rotors and 2 calibers. I appreciate this dealership doesnt work off comission so it allows more flexible pricing, but if youre gonna lower the car price and then i spend that regardless on car repairs whats the point. Especially considering how little it was lowered. Will not recommend this place to friends.
The service that I received was very professional and personable. All of my concerns were addressed. And I felt that my sales consultant James Williamson really wanted me to be well informed regarding the vehicle that I chose to purchase. He as promised me excellent service after the sell, by letting me know that his door is always open to address future concerns.
They are very polite and courteous. Pricing seems to be fair. Wait time is a different issue. Took them 3 hours to do what they said would need 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Had to hand wash my vehicle since it is a wheelchair ramp van. Didnt ask for a washing, but they did a great job!

We went to the lot at what we thought was after hours because we did not want to be bothered with sales people as we looked initially. We still encountered sales people but to our surprise when we said we would like to just look on our own and later when we got serious at buying, they were not pushy! This was very important to us. They were all very helpful, knowledgeable and when they found that they did not have the exact car I wanted on the lot, they went in search of one for me. The deal was awesome. I highly recommend Gerald Jones Honda.

After our deal with the local Honda dealership fell through (after more than a month of searching they claimed they couldnt find a match for what I wanted), we went to Dave Havern at Gerald Jones and it took him 15 minutes to find the right car. The purchasing process was incredibly smooth and very well done - I only wish wed gone to them much sooner!
William Walker was the best. I came along with a friend to look at a few vehicles. He helped us every step of the way, was very knowledgeable and treated us like family. This was the best experience I’ve had at a dealership. My friend was very happy with the Honda CR-V that she got.

This is exactly the type of service that make you want to come back to purchase your next vehicle. Its been a while since we had our car service from this place. But that one bad experience from the Aiken Honda sent me back here. We made an appointment for oil change and a/c diagnostics since we are going to be out of town. The guy named Titus seemed very nice. We told him what we needed done: a/c diagnostic and oil change. He came back out with the problem plus the assumed transmission leak (which we doubted). Anyway, we said go ahead and do that. Almost 5 hours waiting on the car and we got home, we checked the paper work that they did. We didnt see oil change. He said something about the multi inspection was included in the oil change that will check our brakes also. So we assumed that they changed the oil since he told us that brakes are still good. We got home and checked the percentage on oil, and it was the same as when we took it over there. I called them back and talked to the guy Titus who said that oil change wasnt even on appointment so he didnt know we wanted that done too when we specifically told him were leaving for NYC in the morning. He apologized but that wouldnt solve our problem. Maybe they should stop looking at the big $ sign to gain from customers and do what the customers actually want done. We live about 45min away from Augusta. It was 4pm when we realized that the oil wasnt changed. Driving back up there would take 45 min and we dont have much time. This reminds me the very reason why we stopped coming to Gerals Jones for services. It would probably take me another 2 years or more again before we let them do the service on our vehicle. So disappointed and really cant trust any good people. So we took our car to Honda Cars of Aiken for that oil change. So what do you know? Our favorite service advisor, Julia, is back again. We are definitely staying with her.
Quick, professional, courteous, and great customer service. Truck was completed before expected time. Even washed and vacuumed the truck. Showed photos of potential maintenance areas and asked if I wanted service in those areas. Marlow Gregory and his car wash staff were great!
My husband and I took our car in to get an oil change and then a 20 point inspection. We had an appointment and arrived a few minutes early. Our oil change took 3 hours. We were not told to expect a long wait, so we stuck around in the waiting room. Also, my husband had to keep checking back on the car to get an update rather than our service agent updating us. In fact my husband asked 2 hours in to the wait how much longer. We were told shortly. However it was another hour before we left. We finally were so hungry, tired, and uncomfortable that we stood in the bay and watched them finish it up. This was absolutely the slowest service ever! We plan on taking the car to Jiffy Lube next time. About the only positive is the service agent applied a coupon that was applicable to the car service.

As usual the service department fit me with no problem. They took time out of their busy schedules to sit in the vehicle with me hear what I was hearing in my car. My Customer service representative got Kristopher Carrow got me a loaner car. The service department gave me an appointment ASAP and were so helpful and kind. The technician was so kind checking the battery and fluid in the vehicle. So happy so far with Honda. Great staff

My experience was good. I liked how the service advisor called me about what needed to be repaired and the prices of those repairs. I liked that they took care of my travel to work and pickup from work (Uber). I like that I have experienced friendly and courteous customer service, so far.
My daughter, who is attends Augusta University, called me when her check engine light came on and her 2008 Accord began to run rough. I called Kevin the service manager who had her bring it in to meet with Jeff. Jeff provided excellent service in helping get it fixed quickly and helping a father 3 hours away know his daughter was in good hands. Thanks for the fantastic customer service! William Walker did an awesome job showing me different CRV’s and answering all of my questions. He rode with me several times to test drive and to demonstrate features of the car. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and patient. Although we didn’t close a deal this time, I will definitely ask for him next time! It was a very good experience.
If I could rate them lower I would. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with a dealership. They have dragged their feet through the entire process of buying a car. They have continuously neglected to send over tags paperwork for our car that we bought through them 2 months ago. If you want a massive headache but a car through them. If not, go to literally any other dealership and save yourself some sanity!
Wonderful service for repairs! Quick, easy to set appointment, fast delivery with appointment, friendly staff right in the door, honest. I like that they only care about safety with the vehicles and not trying to roll anyone over for expensive repairs. They offered a lady in the waiting room next to me a car for the weekend since her vehicle needed extensive work. Great job all that work there.
Do NOT bother. I was still charged for an oil change when I am already paying an extra fee towards oil changes each month (As part of my car payment). Madeleine Steve is TRASH in terms of customer service and attitude. I am a mild-mannered individual and she continued to talk over me rather than listen. Customer service 101 Madeleine, the customer is ALWAYS right. You should be glad to still have a job during this pandemic...learn how to talk to people to resolve their issues or QUIT! If I am not refunded, I will contact the bank and dispute the transaction because I refuse to pay for something that’s already covered per my contract.

The staff at Gerald Jones Honda gave me a great trade value on my 2016 4Runner (THE FIRST TIME) and got my wife in a new 2019 Honda Pilot at a great price! Called, received an appointment, and the service department was ready when I arrived.Had an oil change, tires rotated and car wash. All done and explained to me. Great job. Nice area to relax in while waiting. Would like to see the service done a little faster, one hour and twenty minutes could be reduced to about one hour.
Kendal in the sales department was very helpful and friendly. He even worked through lunch and beyond to try and accommodate our needs. He earned 5 stars, but as a fair review we took 1 star away from our experience with the finance dept. manager (no names). We just didnt get that Im doing my best to meet your needs feeling at all from him. As a matter of fact there was some attitude from him when we were questioning this on our non debatable (obviously) apr interest. When spending $30,000, with a trade in that was initially under quoted, $5000 down, and 2 applicants on the same contract with the exact same EXCELLENT credit scores, we expected a better rate than just ho-hum, run of the mill results, and more effort from him to try and deal with the bank(s). Although it was Saturday, and maybe the banks were closed until Monday, it was pretty much take it or leave it. We expected maybe Monday he would give it the old college try, but no effort was mentioned. This almost cost the whole deal to sink ship. If it wasnt for Kendal talking to us like customers who were spending a lot of money, ( and not like THEY were doing US a favor), it would have. Again, sorry for the star Kendal, you deserve better. Now, we will go to our bank on Monday, and put a little more effort into getting a lower rate! Maybe we can and maybe we cant, but hey... at least we did our best.
The car buying experience was great. A guy name tank was a big help and explained the whole process. On the other hand, when I got the car literally 3 days later the check engine light came on. My experience with services has been horrific. If I dont call and get an update or if tank doesnt call me (keep in mind he doesnt work in services, hes a sales person) then I wont have any updates on my truck. I was promised by a service advisor that I would get a call about my truck at 5 or before with an update. Here it is 6:50 and still nothing. They have had a truck i just got a couple of months ago for 5 days and if it wasnt for tank I would have no clue on whats going on. They dont return calls at all!!! If you are looking for great service this is not the place.
Even on a super busy day, Gerald Jones Service dept took care of us in a time of need. My husband was at a conference in Augusta and his windshield wiper motor went out. It was pouring rain all weekend and we needed a quick fix. Ryan and the service staff got him in and got him fixed, they even paid for an uber replaced his car key battery. I was calling from out of town to check on the vehicle since my husband was in a conference, which was a littler frustrating, but it shows they were taking care of those in the shop and working hard to get everyones vehicles fixed and back to their owners in a timely manner. Sorry if I came off as angry or rude in my frustrations this morning, and thank you again for taking care of our Honda!
Getting regular maintenance on a vehicle used to be such an inconvenience until my husband and I purchased a vehicle from Gerald Jones Honda. Their customer center is so inviting its like going on a mini vacation! I just made myself a delicious vanilla latte while my little one is having a ball in their super cute playroom. Makes me wish I could get my oil changed every day! No one can beat the customer service here and that has made me a customer for life. 🙂
My appointment was for regularly scheduled maintenance, and I asked my My Honda Service Advisor to also look at another car issue I had been experiencing. My Service Advisor addressed my concerns; and at the conclusion of the appointment, he (as always) reviewed the services performed. He also identified another (non-urgent) issue that I should consider addressing on a future service appointment.By telling me of potential issues in advance, my Service Advisor helps me to determine when I can schedule the maintenance/repair to be performed (versus an immediate fix) and allows me time to financially plan for the service (versus upsetting my budget). My Honda Service Advisor consistently demonstrates his knowledge and experience when handling my older model Honda, and he is always respectful and courteous.

Also offered Uber ride if I chose not to wait.Paul called because 2 filters needed to be replaced.Paul called to report that car maintenance/courtesy car wash complete @ 9:45.Used Uber service to pick-up car.Paul was pleasant, knowledgable, and answered additional questions, not pertaining to this visit. I really wanted to like this place. The Houston, Texas dealership I use to take my car to get serviced at made me assume that i would get the five star treatment I would at another dealership. Anytime I went to the Houston dealership theyd always wash my car with my oil change and gave me discounts if I waited any longer than 30 minutes, without being asked. Im a very patient person, truly, considering I work in customer service.My first time getting my oil changed here, I made an appointment online. When I arrived 15 minutes early, I greeted the customer service rep with hello I have an appointment. So I go into the waiting room, two hours LATER, I ask the lady who was cleaning that area if it usually takes 2 hours to do an oil change. She went and asked about me to one of the service members, and a lady (who was nice, truly) came back and mentioned that I didnt have an appointment. I was in disbelief, I laughed because that was literally the first thing I mentioned to the guy in the shop. I showed her my confirmation email entailing that I in fact had an appointment for said maintenance (oil change and wiper replacement) the lady apologized, but it still took an additional hour for them to finish up on my Honda. At this point I was hoping they would compensate me for my time, even an apology would of been nice, but nothing. $70 and 3 hours later, I realized how good some dealerships can be and how awful others are.I hate that they are the only Honda dealership in the area. I guess they bet on this so they arent in any rush to go above and beyond to take care of their customers. Maybe they were understaffed. Maybe I was just unlucky. But i know now not to waste my precious time, or money.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE TO BE SERVICED. As another review said, they are incompetent at best and negligent at worst. My CRV was making a weird noise, so I googled the nearest dealership, made an 8 am appointment, and took it in. They said its two pulleys that need to be replaced. $500 and they had to order one, so theyd get me an Uber home and itd be ready by the end of the next day. Inconvenient, but fine...only 2 days without a car. 3 pm the next day, I called to make sure I could still pick it up before they closed. They then told me that the technician who looked at it initially isnt here today, so another technician looked at it and said the pulleys are fine, but its the alternator itself that needs to be replaced. $1300. Somehow, the first technician did a shoddy half-baked diagnosis, and there was no kind of quality control in place to check or catch it. At this point, Im not trusting their incompetent staff with my car even if that is the true diagnosis. The fact that I had to call around the time I was supposed to be able to pick the car up to even get this news is even more frustrating. The service advisor was apologetic, but when selling services you cant make up for incompetent repair technicians and lack of quality control. Save yourself a headache and take your car elsewhere.
Service writer was excellent, prompt, courteous, and facilitated entry into service. He explained what services were recommended (tire rotation) in addition to that scheduled (oil change) and discussed the price with me in advance. After the service was performed, the express service writer called me up to pay for it and I did. But they had not washed my car. So I waited another hour and a half until my car could be washed and cleaned. At 12:30 I went out and asked about the status of my car. It was parked outside done--for how long? Anyway, in general, I think the service provided the basics and with some prompting provided the next level.
I am providing this rating because I truly believe Gerald Jones Honda did an excellent job. The engine light on my 2007 Honda accord came on back in 2015. I took it to multiple Honda dealerships in Kansas later on in Arizona and then Texas and none was able to find the fault. I took the car to Gerald Jones Honda and not only were they able to find the fault the first time but they were also able to fix it. I drove my car for four years with the engine light on because no other dealership was able to find the problem. It took the folks of Gerald Jones one try and the problem was identified and corrected.
If I could give zero stars I would. I did not purchase my Honda from Gerald Jones but I’m a college student so it’s convenient to get my car serviced near by. The last time I had an issue with my car I was charged a diagnostic fee without solving the issue, I waited 4 hours for a diagnoses and they simple said they didn’t know what it could be. I had such a bad service. When I spoke with the service manager his demeanor towards my complaint was disgusting. He could have cared less. A few of the service men apologized constantly and offered me discounts off my next service because they kneeboarding I had been given the run around.I was almost charged $200 for something that was covered in my warranty, my home dealership fixed it for free. I absolutely hate Gerald Jones. I won’t come here for convenience anymore.
Truly and exceptional experience! The staff were friendly and helpful into making the car buying decision easier and more pleasurable. I have been looking for a vehicle for a few months and visited several dealerships in the area and Gerald Jones was by far the best for service, pricing/finance, and overall professionalism.
The whole experience was so easy and came with no stress at all! I bought a 2018 Honda Accord it’s easily the best car I’ve ever had! I came for a recall. Madelaine took care of my preliminary things straight away. While looking through the dealership,I met William.Easy going southern gentleman that helped me in my education quest. We toured the dealership and I got a valuation on my present vehicle. All the employees I met were easy to speak with and contributed to the overall pleasant experience.
Normally the service is not so bad, but today it was at its worst. I had an appointment for an oil change and to have the navigation system checked. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time at 11am and thinking in an hour or so I should receive information about my vehicle. Well at 2:30 I receive a call stating it will be between 4 and 5PM before they’ll have any info on my car. Honda did provide an Uber to a location within a certain radius which we used to go grab food and kill time, but should have informed us it would be 4 to 5 hours before they would be able to tell us anything about our vehicle. This would have allowed us to make other arrangements. This has been the worst experience yet at any dealership service I’ve visited.
My first Honda came from Gerald Jones Honda in 1985. I moved away not long after that, purchased several cars over the last 33 years, returned “home” last year and just bought my 5th Honda at Gerald Jones Honda! I can honestly say this was one of the best car buying experiences I have had over the years. Cam Griffin brought several cars to me at work to allow me to try different trim levels on my own. He made me laugh throughout the process and made it an awesome purchasing experience. I’m glad to have renewed my relationship with the great people at Gerald Jones Honda and look forward to many years of Honda care with them.
The buying experience was awesome! Mitchell and Alex are the friendliest, nicest guys. They were so helpful, not pushy at all. Mitchell sent me a picture of my car when it came in. When I went to pick it up he spent an hour or more helping me get familiar with my new Honda Accord Touring. This was our first Honda purchase and I couldnt be happier. Our sales rep was recommended to us by people we know, and word of mouth is very important to us. We were not disappointed in the time and care spent in answering our questions or any of our concerns. We were completely at ease and never felt that we were having the wool pulled over our eyes so by the time we drove off the lot with our new pilot, we felt good. Mitchell was the best salesperson I and my wife have experienced in a very long time. Always smiling, he bent over backwards to get us all the information we needed to make our decision. He went out of his way to bring up other CRVs for us to examine. He then sat with us to go over finance options and went out of his way to get us to a good place financially. We picked our CRV EXL today, and he was very knowledgeable about the the vehicle and explained and went over all the cars options and how they function. He was just outstanding!!!!. Mitch went over all the options, how the car options function for both myself and my wife. Like I said on previous page, he was just awesome. The whole experience was just outstanding. The Honda staff went all out to make us fell welcome and went over and above to help make this purchase great.
Recently I had to buy a new car because my car was totaled. I have had Donald help me in the past and again he did such a wonderful job! He and Monty helped me get back in a new car and made the process super easy and stress free! I highly recommend them! You won’t be disappointed!
I had an appointment at 10 a.m. only to find out 3 hours later that was just to meet with the person to get my car details so it could be put in line up to have the airbags replaced due to two recalls I find out after Im almost done. The man that handled my situation was very professional and so very nice! The only thing I found wrong maybe was theyre not very kid friendly, even though were all out of school and going through this crisis together. They had a small room that Im assuming with a t.v. for kids but no remote to turn it on.I inquired as to maybe one of the guys getting one but he acted clueless and never came back so I took he really didnt care enough to bother or it wasnt important, but it was to my granddaughter! I wasnt real impressed with him or his actions either! No books or anything for kids! Sadly we all have kids at home now.
We were treated with respect and kindness. We had four items on our service agenda (oil change, tire rotation, new key fob, and car wash), and they were all completed within a couple of hours! I went in to Honda to have my oil changed. I left my car there to be serviced and was supposed to pick it up later. I was told my car was ready but one more thing needed to be checked. I didn’t get a final call, so I came back to pick my car up. When I arrived the service area was already closed. I ran into William Walker and he assisted me and put me in touch with Mark Boyd(General Manager). From there, Mark took care of everything to include my service. I’ve not ever had an issue with Honda’s service department and I highly recommend them! Their customer service is outstanding and they stand behind their work.
Richard was truly amazing, helpful, and just a great salesmen. He sold my stranded family 600 miles from home two cars one being the car of my dreams. The rest of the staff between the owner and the financial executive all the want to do is make buys a car the most pleasant experience it can be.

I bought a 2015 Mazda5 on September 27, 2018 and had to start off with this car for a year. Lou was a great sales person, but the service for my car sucked. They sold me a LEMON. My brakes were bad and rubbing against my rotors. I was told to come up there to get them serviced but mechanic wasnt available, so they rescheduled me that following Monday. I asked Lou was I ok to drive because I was in the middle of skipping town for my safety and had to go to Norcross to get rest of belongings and later found out my horn wasnt working when it got time to use it. In less than a week of my purchase, I slid in the back of someone elses car because I couldnt stop and now I have to hire a lawyer because Honda in Martinez, GA act like they cant replace my car, when they shouldnt have sold me this car. This is VERY upsetting and frustrating because I need a car to take care of all my business. Especially when I paid my car note ahead of time. Im very disappointed, because who wouldve thought Honda would do this to anyone. I see now some people just be trying to get a sale in NOW.
Great service from start to even after finish! Ive had a few questions since purchased the vehicle and still receive excellent customer service even though the initial sale is complete- meaning they arent just there to help til they get your money like some other places! I would highly recommend for service and no issues with my vehicle either, of course!
My experience with the Gerald Jones Honda Service department way exceptional. I have just move here to the area and had a factory recall notice on my car and the service consultant Brian Smith was great at answering my questions and even visiting about different types of vehicles I may be interested in purchasing in the future when I am ready to trade in my Accord. I was looking at the new cars when I was waiting for my ride. When I picked up my car it had been washed, vacuumed, the tires and wheels had even been cleaned.
Our car buying experience with Gerald Jones Honda and particularly Allen Baer was great today. We’ve purchased many cars with Allen and would strongly recommend him to anyone! He’s very patient and thorough - as an example - he took notice of the temp setting in my old car and made sure to set it to the same temp in the new car before gettin g in it to drive off the lot. Allen took time to connect on a personal level - asking about family members and work, making it feel like we were doing business with a friend. For a few years I did not own a Honda, and the thing I missed most about it was the Service Dept. at Gerald Jones. I have been going there since it was on Gordon Highway, and Ive had the same service advisor for 15 years. Jonathan has always been exceptional and goes above and beyond. He stays in contact and is just a pleasant guy. I will miss him when he is gone, but thankfully I know Kenny as well. Those two guys are outstanding! I cant think of a single complaint over the years!
The car buying experience was great with Jackie. She promised my nav would get fixed and my back jeep symbol would be fixed. I had one fixed. My nav was fixed after three weeks of them having it, I get it back and there are grease stains all over the bottom floor and my back seat was filthy(keep in mind I dropped it off after the horrible car wash experience they have every Saturday!). I was promise and told it would be clean and detailed before I picked it up. This is the third time Ive had issues with them. I think they need to treat their customers with a little bit more respect and actually stay true to their word because if a car wash/detail left my car that filthy with grease stains all over it then they themselves need to be out of business but I for sure will not be back to purchase a car from them. I honestly wish I could take it back now and never buy from them. JACKIE did great!! That was the ONLY thing Ive enjoyed from them so far. But three weeks and my issues are not fixed completely and I have a filthy car. Thank you Gerald jones for the horrific experience Ill be sure to NOT be back
Just wanted to recommend GJ Hondas Service Department and particularly Alan, one of their Service Advisors. The department was very helpful in addressing a recall issue for my car despite a problematic VIN due to the cars Canadian origin. Alan was friendly, polite, and just a pleasure to speak with in articulating the cars repair status as well as lining up the appropriate alternative transportation during the repair. Hes also definitely the guy you need to ask for if youre an enthusiast - youll know your cars in good hands.
Repair service was one of best I have experienced in over 60 years of driving. My service advisor, Angie, explained in detail what was to be done, provided Uber transport to my home and return upon completion of the repair, and described what had been done. Extremely pleased with this appointment.
Was in Augusta on a business day trip when my 2018 civic began to overheat. I had it towed to Gerald Jones where I met Mr. Donteice Yancey. Not being familiar with Augusta or this Honda dealership Donteice welcomes me, arranged for a rental, and got me home that night back to Newnan, Ga. Before arriving home Donteice had called me to let me know that a rock went through my radiator at some point and that he had the parts needed to get my car fixed. Before 12 the next day he called to let me know my car was ready. Being some distance away he offered to stay late if needed for me to pick up my car. I forgot to call and let him know I was gonna come over the weekend, but he called before he left for the day to make sure I was not on my way. When I did arrive to pick up my car on Saturday he was there with his smiling face welcoming back with my car ready.To be honest I hope I never have to return to Gerald Jones Honda again, unless by chance I move to Augusta or to buy a car. But it is good to know that there are people like Donteice there to help in my time of need and make a stressfull situation some how enjoyable. After washing the car for the first time, I discover some minor damage on the lower part of the back bumper, it is hard to see but Im disappointed that it was not noted by the Dealer PDI and we werent told about it. It is also my fault for not inspecting the car a lot closer. Gerald Jones honda offer excellent service and I will not change the 5 star rating. I contacted the dealer via email but have not heard from them. This wil not prevent us from continuing to do business with them in the future but it would be nice if someone could offer some assistance with this matter. Thank you.
Have been taking our Honda here since weve bought it due to the other place we were using were not up to par. Ive never had any issues with them. Ive always been listened to and all my questions and concerns were thoroughly checked. Friendly staff, great service, and they call if anything unexpected comes up. My service representative made me feel like a valued customer from the start to finish. He updated me on the diagnosis and repair of the vehicle. The atmosphere was that of a FLAGSHIP dealer such as ACURA or LEXUS. I was treated with dignity, felt welcomed and well respected. Provide Kodos to the service receptionist he did an outstanding job needs to be recognized!
I have used Gerald Jones Honda for all my car needs since 2013. Jamie Andrews was my service representative when I took my car for routine service a few weeks ago. This was my first time meeting Jamie. I have to say that I was given tip top service...the best personal service I had received since using Gerald Jones Honda. I rate Jamie Andrews a 5-STAR for the professional service I received yet with a very special personal touch. She made sure I was a satisfied customer.
Gerald Jones Honda was great to deal with. I traveled 8 hours to purchase my vehicle and there were no surprises. The staff was very accommodating. They sent a driver to pick me up at the airport, served me lunch and sold me the car that I expected. FIRST CLASS EXPERIENCE!!!
Horrible Dealership!!! The service depts work sucks and the general manager/Mark Boyd is so caught up in policy that he COMPLETELY IGNORES customer concerns. There are exceptions to any policy, so providing options to resolve a customers issue should be priority. I DO NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. Youre better off going to Thompson, Atlanta or Columbia for QUALITY Honda service. This company has screwed me over several times, each time resulting in money in their pockets while robbing the customer. This location has caused me to turn entirely away from Hondas Brand altogether. Sad!
Fantastic customer oriented support throughout the entire buying experience. They genuinely want to earn your business and their reputation and credibility are well earned. Sales representative team of Allen, Kendall, and Monty were spot on and made this a truly exceptional buying experience!
The staff was wonderful and very understanding of my situation. They asked what I needed or preferred and found the vehicle I desired with the payments under what I thought they would be. They did not push me or try to oversale like other dealerships I have been to. Next time I am in the market for another car, Gerald Jones Honda will be my first stop.

2022-01-14I came in to Gerald Jones Honda for an oil Change and left with a new F150. Brandon Roach and Mike Jennings were awesome! Customer service was second to none and I found a truck equipped exactly how I wanted. There was no pressure to buy, except from my wife when I sent her a picture of the truck! Thank you guys for an awesome experience!!

2022-05-03The buying department here at Gerald Jones Honda is top notch! I received a Kelly Blue Book value for my truck and I was contacted by Don to set up an appointment for a possible trade. Don was super friendly and very helpful with the whole process. When I went in for my truck appraisal, Don was busy with another customer. I was referred over Scott who also went above and beyond to take the very best care of me and to help me get the most money out of my truck. After being offered the online price for my truck of $31,000, Scott was able to go over everything to help me to get more out of it, and I happily walked out of the dealership with a $35,000 check in hand after only being in there for 20 minutes. Hopefully this review will serve as a great recommendation for anyone wanting to sell their vehicle for more than Kelly Blue Book value! Thanks so much for both Scott and Don for everything you guys done.

2021-12-29Have a 2016 CRV. I’ve had the worst service from the dealership Of all my Hondas and Toyotas I’ve had. They put a 100 month battery in about 18 months ago for warranty. It’s been dying on my wife. They said the 100 months was void since it was done under warranty. They would not even check it for my wife. I took to Autozone and they checked for free. It didn’t have enough cold cranking amps. I buy a new car for my wife every 4 to 5 years. With this service department, it won’t be here. It will be at Honda of Aiken or Milton Ruben Toyota. Lyndsey acted as if she was upset with my wife, and was having a bad day. I’ve felt with GJones for the past 15 years. This was ridiculous and has really changed my mind about them. I use to refer any of my friends here, but just like many businesses they are cutting back on there service and customer satisfaction.

From the process of scheduling an appointment online to the return of my Honda after it has been serviced, has always been a pleasurable experience. 2022-04-05***4/5/2022 update***I worked with General Manager Robbie Newman and provided the documentation from the other shop for the AC fix. After review of the documentation, Ill be refunded my $145. Thank you Robbie Newman for standing behind your shops work, good or bad, that goes a long way. Mistakes will happen, and Gerald Jones Honda stepped up to the plate to make things right for my case.***Avoid the Service Department*** unless you like giving money away...My vehicles have been wrongly diagnosed by Gerald Jones Honda in Augusta, GA the last 2 times that Ive brought them in.First issue, my car was having an issue starting:Honda diagnosed: Replace Starter $900Actual Issue: Bad Cell in Battery (battery still under warranty with Honda)After bringing my car to the shop twice, finally they were able to identify that the battery was bad, after I got a print out from another local, reliable shop in the area. Luckily, I avoided spending $900 to replace a starter that didnt need replacing.Second issue, the AC in my car was not blowing cold:Honda diagnosed: Replace driver and passenger AC motors $800Actual Issue: Compressor RelayAgain, another local, reliable shop in the area was able to find the real issue, and I avoided spending $800 to replace parts that did not need replacing and wouldnt have fixed the issue. This time, I was on the hook for the $145 diagnostic fee that I paid at time of service, and I called out the shop on their bad diagnostic and asked for a refund of my money. I was told since I took my car to another shop to get it fixed, I would not be refunded. Honestly, why would I bring my car back to a shop that cant even identify the real issue. I should let another shop find the issue, then bring it to your shop to fix it? That makes no sense to me.Im a big fan of the Honda brand, more so the motorcycles, but also the vehicles as well. I feel that the Service work thats happening at the Gerald Jones Honda in Augusta, GA is a disgrace to the Honda brand. We currently have 2 honda accords, a 2007 and a 2013 that require plenty of maintenance, but at this point I cannot confidently bring my vehicles to Gerald Jones Honda in Augusta, GA for any type of service without getting a second opinion before handing my money over.

2022-06-21On 6/11/2022 I purchased a 2018 Nissan Truck from your dealership. Yes the truck is a few years old but I asked for it to be detailed. I told the salesperson I wanted it to to be wax a buffing wax not what he called speed wax. Did that happen NO! But i would like to to take back some of my statement in the first review. After talking to the GM and explaining what i had asked for and what i got he had me bring the truck in and he took care of all my problems. I appreciate that they took care of the issues.

2022-05-31Aside from the Lexus dealership I went too in Atlanta this weekend, this was the best no pressure to buy a car experience I experienced. Was looking at a 2018 Honda Accord Touring 2.0T, and that is ultimately what I walked away with as Darwin and the finance team were great meeting my budget needs on top of giving me the most value for my trade in against Carmax and Lexus. Definitely recommend doing business with them for a new or used vehicle now and when the selection of vehicles to offer becomes more abundant.

2022-06-04This dealer is too too bad! They are a big dealer but not professional & cheated! Never recommend them. We are really disappointed! We deposited for Honda Odyssey 2022 on May 4, then keep asking the Salesman when can get the vehicle but he didn’t pick up the phone & response the text message. After 3 weeks, he comes back to us that still secure the new car with factory but doesn’t know when we can have it. Then, we tried to approach his boss & he said Honda stop producing model 2022, request us pay more $765 for model 2023. It’s really unfair! Why they didn’t work with Honda producer once get the deposit from customer??? After one month, they requested to increase the price? We don’t accept their request & just refund to us the deposit no compensation.EVERYONE, BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DEALER!

2022-05-18Horrible. Our car has been there for two weeks. Some man named Reed is the ONLY person who knows about our car apparently and he’s just magically never available to talk. We are not from Augusta and it’s been very inconvenient to have such a lack of communication. We were told it would be ready last week and then that changed to the 16th. Lyft is expensive and we have no sort of compensation for the poor service. Won’t be bringing our car here again.Edit: Also discovered our car is recalled for the reason it’s in the shop. Yet it was sold to us saying nothing was wrong. Not a good look Gerald Jones.
