Amazing, delicious food. Our server was even better. Early in the day we enjoyed the pimento cheese appetizer. Amazing. Late night, we had the Georgia chicken dish. One of the best things Ive ever eaten. We had the same server because of short staffing. He was still better than the dish. Worth checking out:) #BestdishinAtlanta
Customer service is terrible. Made reservations online as requested and got to the restaurant and the manager said they never took reservations but it’s a whole reservation tab on their site! Therefore, we could not be seated and we have a party of 18! The manager did nothing to accommodate just kept apologizing and saying she never knew about them taking reservations on their website. But you’re the manager!? I will not be visiting again!
Amazing service, our waiter was great, recommendations for food and drinks were on point. Food was delicious, must try the shrimp and grits, the pork chop and the tacos. The ice cream was heavenly. To top it off the view from the roof top bar was one of the best in the city. Urban chic casual vibe throughout. Great way to end the weekend
Everything here is outstanding. The waitstaff is smiley and so hospital and free to share their preferences for menu choices which we love. We came for dinner Wednesday night and came back for breakfast. We had fish tacos (fish changes with chefs choice) I had catfish it was delicious and very well prepared and presented. My dining partner had Shrimp and Grits. It was the best he has had.Breakfast was super good. The waiter had a delightful disposition and smile. I freely give this place 5 stars. It is casual and comfortable.
Great selection of truly special drinks and delicious small plates. Cool bar seating and a relaxed lounge area. Items such as pretzels, calamari, cheese and meat plates, wings, and many more well prepared options are available. I got lucky and sat next to the owner of the hotel when I was here last. They arent open crazy late, but drinks and food is generally available until 11 which is fine on a school night.
Went here on a Wednesday to specifically have dinner and then go chill out on the rooftop. However, the rooftop was closed due to a movie or something of the sort being shot there. The food was great. I ordered the shrimp and grits and I was definitely not expecting it to be THAT GOOD. Our server was fantastic with great recommendations and she even went out here way to accommodate my friend and her demands.
We were leaving an Atlanta United game and all of Marta was backed up, so we stopped inside Glenn’s Kitchen to ditch the crowds and enjoy the AC. Little did we know how fabulous it would be! Eric, who I’m assuming is management, has been an absolute dream- super personable, opened the AC areas early for hot United fans, and was great conversation! The drinks are delicious and the humus is some of the best I’ve had! Worth the stop! :)
The food was wonderful -- every course was equally good. The Ashland Farms Greens salad, the Shrimp-N-Grits, and bread pudding were all superb! Everthing was wonderfully flavorful, and the Shrimp-N-Grits had just the right level of spice. The bread pudding is not to be missed -- even the fresh berries that accompany it were carefully selected, for full flavor -- not just a garnish! The decor is elegant, and the restaurant was quiet enough for a good conversation among a group. The service was also excellent.Everything was so good, I went back and had exactly the same thing the next night -- with the same results. Ill be back again next time Im in Atlanta!
My friend and I came here on Valentines day to get a bite to eat before the Hawks game. We came in and the doorman/host was very friendly when we asked to sit at the bar he directed us to it. The restuaurant was not busy AT ALL. The bar was full except for 2 chairs so we sat down. We waited a few minutes to be given menus by the bartender. Then we waited about 5 more minutes before the bartender said he would be right with us. After 10 more minutes of being ignored (we were not offered water or drinks) we tried staring down the bartender who just went on serving everyone else at the bar except for us. After a total of 15-20 min of sitting at the bar with zero service we left. It is ridiculous that the bartender couldnt even TAKE our drink orders AND/OR at least give us some waters to drink while we waited. You can be sure I wont be coming here again.
High prices and Meh food. My turkey burger was bland (very mild provolone, only a small dollop of pesto in the center and two tiny and very thin slices of the cucumber that only covered about 1/3 of the burger)and my fingerling potatoes had very little seasoning (herbs), were a bit dry, and had to be smothered in salt. They also served them with a side of ketchup, which I thought was weird. Not terrible, but for the price ($13-$20+tip) you expect better. Most of my tablemates felt similar. Definitely not worth going out of your way for with so much good food in the area.
Luckily, we were able to slide into the main dining area last night before they closed at 11pm. My girlfriend and I wanted to have dinner, drinks and conversation in a nice central location and this was it! It was my first time visiting but Id heard so much about this place plus the SkyLounge. The restaurant validates your valet parking (usually about $10) but they parked us right in the front row, so we still tipped well at the end. We tried the lobster cake, the bacon-wrapped dates, the steak and the shrimp and grits. Oh and the bread pudding was scrumptious! Our server, Genesis, and the Manager, Todd, were both so gracious with recommendations and speedy service. We also enjoyed 2 rounds of drinks and were glad to be able to have a convo in a place that wasnt too noisy but still sociable. Afterwards, we went up to the rooftop and the view of the city was amazing. Especially the ferris wheel! The weather was a breezy 76 degrees and I really liked the sophisticated lounge decor. We will definitely be back!
When youre terrible @ cooking breakfast .... Then dont call me for lunch or dinner !Cold bland omlette .. Dry waffles..eggs, ham were very bad!!! Waitress was good... She Warned about the bad grits on the weekend .. Try some new cooks please!!!I wish she would have warned about everything else!!! We will Never go back 😜
I so wanted to love this place. Sharing my name, I was left somewhat disappointed. To start with, they had only 1 beer on tap, which 3 of us ordered. Unfortunately, there was only a single glass left in the keg and no backup keg to be had.Next, we placed our order for entrées along with 2 appetizers. The appetizers were the last thing to reach our table and we were half way through our entrées. 3 of the four had delicious food, the 4th had ordered her New York Strip medium rare but it came out medium well. After sending it back to the kitchen, and a 20 minute wait, she received a new steak that, by all accounts was still raw and actually cold in the middle.Maybe it was just a bad night or just bad luck but I left feeling disappointed.Would I give it another try? Probably. Because 3 of the 4 four meals were delicious and the appetizers were great had they been served before the meal. The pic posted is of the replacement steak

2022-06-12This is the bar located on the first floor of the Glen Hotel. Its got a boutique feel with old money ghosts that seem to swarm around you as you try to show that you belong (thats the vibe I felt when I was waiting for my friend to join and there was nobody else). They have a good choice of drinks. My Moscow mule was not the best but it wasnt the worst either. What I loved though, was the chicken 65. Yummy!! Very indo-chinese flavors! And a fairly big portion to eat as a snack. My friend got egg rolls and they were great too! We were happy with the food. However, as the crowd increased, it was very noisy and difficult to hear anything.

2021-09-22This restaurant has a subdued and pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent. The service impeccable. The decoration matches the customers, both appearing smart and relaxe. This was the best restaurant I visited while in Atlanta this year.

2022-05-01Understaffed. Be ready to be ignored and have a long wait for breakfast. The food is fine, but they need to hire adequate staff and train them to do basic things like greet customers, take their order, etc. Staff is very polite, but don’t seem to entirely know what to do. I hold that to management.

2021-02-15Hello gleens!!!! Visiting atlanta from miami beach this was our last dinner in this ghost town.Random place to eat and we found gleens... We sat at the bar initially for drinks to warm up... And ended up ordering shimps n grits with chorizo which was really good and tasty.I had a few gin and tonic and my girl had a mint tea, both made by mr dylan. Thank you for a cool service sir!!The decor is fenomenal. Great combination of colors and design but we missed a good jazz or any type of music that just was played after last call.Hope yall doing well!!!!

2018-09-02We needed something within walking distance from the hotel because asking the valet to get your car just to grab something really quick all the time grows tiresome. Unfortunately there are not a lot of brunch spots close by so we had to opt for lunch. It is at the bottom floor of the Glenn Hotel which also has a rooftop bar. One thing I didnt like it that so it said the main restaurant was open on Google we had to sit in the bar lounge area in the lobby. The pricing is pretty reasonable with a few expensive options here and there but you can still find something good at a low cost. And I like the fact that they have a soup of the day and Tacos of the day because I love the variety that specials give you.I got the tacos because I didnt really see anything else that I liked and I got an interesting side which was zucchini with a hint of mint. Originally dont waitress told me that they were scallop tacos which I was very excited about trying but she eventually came back and told me she was wrong and that they were steak tacos. Luckily I like steak tacos as well but I was really interested in trying the scallop tacos because Ive never had them so that was a bummer. We ordered drinks while we waited in my wife got the house Riesling. I wasnt a fan of it. It was a bit dry and not as sweet as most Rieslings. I opted for a cocktails and went with the Kentucky Ginger. It has whiskey, St Germain, lemon, orange, simple syrup and ginger beer. It was a really good cocktail! The tacos were really good and the zucchini mint was surprisingly good as well. Interesting combination but very flavorful. My wife got the crab cakes and the cheddar grits. The crab cakes had zero filling and they were really big. She had to switch the grits for fries because they were undercooked but the fries were delicious.Though the wait was a bit long and there were some miscommunications the food and the drinks made up for it. Were not rushing to come back here but wed be open to give it another try.

2018-10-01This quiet & understated restaurant is a culinary treasure with many deliciously prepared dishes. This traveler is here from out of town for a conference and the Glenn Hotel is close to the GWCC. Being a boutique hotel I was hoping for a great dining option in house. I certainly was rewarded well with Glenn’s Kitchen. The special soup was creole gumbo, very well prepared yet not overwhelming spicy. I had to taste the bacon wrapped dates... delicious both sweet and savory! The order was a tasting of 3 which was a bit sad as they disappeared quickly. The best was the pan roasted haddock with fingerling potatoes, grilled asparagus and roasted peppers!Everything was perfectly prepared, plated and presented! What a great meal to end a long day of traveling!P.S. Breakfast is equally delicious... omelettes, oatmeal and great coffee ☕️!!!

2018-05-20Excellent💯 So glad I introduced my babe to this place. Service was amazing and our food was delicious🔥. Loved the views from the windows. There is something about dining in downtown Atlanta✨ Check out my photo of the amazing 🍅 basil soup 🍜, the turkey 🍔 and the shrimp and grits. Fabulous👍. Our waiter was Thomas and I can say enough about him...ask for him.

2020-11-07Nice atmosphere and good food. Kitchen closes at 9 pm currently. Seating is spread out and can accommodate one or a small party well. Menu is fairly limited but a good variety.
