2022-07-02My grandson Whitaker has grown so much at Gracie and under these incredibly gracious and talented coaches... matured into a kind young man. And hes a beast on the mat at tournaments! 😂 I cannot recommend this organization enough! Girls are also shining ambassadors of this group...!

2020-11-07My 6 year old son just finished his free lessons, and before we left we made sure to sign him up. All of the coaches are so friendly and welcoming. The other students are super respectful and make sure that they let the newer kids learn. Just a great atmosphere all around. My son has been super excited to go, and cant wait for the next class. 100% recommend Gracie Barra Columbus.

2020-08-02My 6-year-old daughter has been training here for one year now and we both absolutely love it. We initially transferred to this gym because of their hands-on teaching style and low prices. We’ve stayed because of the sincerity and authenticity of everyone here. Everyone (kids, coaches, parents and anyone who trains here) are very kind, supportive, respectful and helpful.My daughter has experienced good days and bad days, but what I love most is how they teach the kids perseverance, a positive attitude and how to learn from each roll. The coaches genuinely care about your child, both their physical and emotional well-being. They make connections and teach them, not just jiu jitsu but character developing traits and philosophies. I’m sure the kids don’t even realize it, all they know is that they are having fun with their friends.We are very thankful to have found this place. We are a military family and we are not looking forward having to PCS and find another gym. We just know it won’t be as special or great as Gracie Barra Columbus has been. We were looking for an extracurricular activity, instead we found a family.

2018-05-24Gracie Barra Columbus is an excellent jujitsu school. All four of my kids have been going for over a year now and weve had a chance to work with all the instructors. They are patient, thorough and truly care about the kids. Their adult classes are great as well. The owner and head of the school Professor Josh is an excellent teacher. Highly recommend anyone looking for a kids program or just for themselves

2021-05-27Excellent time training at GB Columbus. Professor Josh and his crew are top notch! I dropped in from out of town for a night of no-gi class and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Top notch competition and instruction. Thanks!

2021-09-17This gym its so good, that the only reason I am not there is because I am relocating to Colorado Springs and if I could I would take this gym with me. The instructors and community of this gym is very special and I will miss it. I could only hope that in the future I may be able to visit.

2019-05-24My kids have been going for 3 months and I have been going for 2. Professor Josh is great and works with all levels. Eveyone in the class is helpful and no one is out to hurt anyone. All the coaches and professors are extreamly professional. I highly reccomended everyone to try it out. 1st week was free. They have classes for all ages and all skill levels.

2015-01-31At GB, were like family! I have been a member over a year. Its an overall amazing place to learn and train BJJ. Professor Josh has a strong and committed passion for instructing BJJ. Also, Professor Josh has excellent trouble shooting skills that are vital while preparing for competition. If you want to get fit, gain confidence and learn self-defense, then Gracie Barra is the place to be. I wouldnt train in BJJ anywhere else!!

2019-12-08I visited Columbus and Gracie Barra Columbus welcomed me in and I attended a Friday night class. No warmup, directly into instruction. Instruction was about pulling guard to sweep and full guard to spider guard to omoplata to monoplata and triangle. Friendly helpful instruction. Black belts Josh Bowlin and Jason Warford taught class.Were friendly, approachable, helpful. Three black belts were in a class of not that many people. Tough competitors, down to white belt, but I felt safe rolling with them. I was travelling Spirit airlines so I had minimal clothing with me, didnt bring a gi. They even loaned me a gi. Everyone was friendly to me. I dont see how you can go wrong training at Gracie Barra Columbus.Thank you so much for welcoming me to train with you, hope youll come up to visit 313 Jiu Jitsu when youre in Detroit.
