I have been living here for less than a month. When I first moved in I thought this place was wonderful, the apartments are very spacious, clean complex and the fitness center is very well kept (all the equipment works). On yesterday my air conditioning unit went out (it was 91 degrees on yesterday) I called the office around noon to ask for a maintenance visit, was told someone would be there before 5. I returned home at 1130pm to a scorching hot apartment, needless to say, they never showed up. So, I put in a maintenance request online. Again this morning no one shows up to fix the air, so I call and was told they have my request, she would remind maintenance, this was 1130 am. As of 430 no has fixed my air.A few weeks ago I would have highly recommended this complex, but at this point, I am with everyone else avoid this high a$$ place like the plague. I work very long hours, why should I have to come home to a hot apartment. I bet I will not get a reminder call when the rent is late.
Everything was good till I lived there. As soon as I left no Communication. I went to the office asking about any dues or my deposit. They said all good. Now they send my bill to collections. Not good. Still I went there and kept calling no answer no response. Please make sure when you leave.
So at first glance for the location, price, and size of the apartment you think ok. Then you visit and say looks nice and compared to other apartments it’s a good deal. Don’t let this fool you. Management here is a joke. They change property managers almost every 6 months. When you call the office they don’t answer. You have to call multiple times. Maintenance is mediocre at best. I had an issue with my light fixture where the light would flicker and just cut off. I complained and opened several tickets and the maintenance guy told me to shake the lighting. I’m thinking WHAT the %#**. This means there is an issue with the electrical component and this could lead to a fire and your answer was to jiggle it till it cut back on. Eventually they replaced it but took a lot of complaining. Again if I knew this back when I was apartment hunting I would’ve never signed a lease. So if you are reading this then please note you have been warned. Just ask yourself is leasing here even worth the risk!!!!
Lived here for almost 3 yrs before I had to move due to moving out of state. After I gave my 2 month notice, I had to pay a month worth of rent which ended up being almost 1400. They charged me for the carpet (which when I got there it was cleaned not new so the same marks that were there before were still there) and for a 1001 things, mind you I left the apartment looking great despite the fact that I was there for 2 and + years .the maintenance wasnt bad they usually took about 24 hrs to so called fix stuff I was just upset they charged me for a lot of the stuff they never fixed to begin like the dishwasher I never used it cause it never worked so when I left it still didnt work they charged me for it. I give it 3 stars because it wasnt a bad place to live, the staff was always changing or never there.Pros: that they were nice apartments always clean, and most of the time gatedI recommend it because I liked it up until I had to move, but make sure you write down and take pics of everything that you see wrong before moving in, cause then they want to charge you for everything when u move out. !
I have enjoyed living at Grande Club the location is very convenient and the people are friendly. My apartment is clean and updated with quality workmanship. The staff has always quickly and efficiently addressed what few minor problems Ive had. The grounds are clean and the pet friendly policy made this the perfect home for me. As far as apartment living goes I have not had any problems with bugs. I would recommend Grande Club to anyone looking for a home in this area.Jaime Berdache
This is my second year at Grande Club and, knock on wood, I have very little to complain about. I have only had to have something in my apartment fixed once and they sent maintenance staff that day. (who by the way was so friendly). The grounds are very well maintained and it is a quiet community. Anytime I go into the office someone says hello or at least waves at me even if they are helping someone at the time.
I have lived here for about a year. Maintenance is always on point and takes care of issues very quickly. Office staff changed a few months ago and they all genuinely seem to care about my concerns and have taken care of any issues that I have brought to their attention. I really like my apartment.
I do not recommend this place. There is no sense of pride in the exterior maintenance and interiors are dated as well. Dont be fooled by the model tour. I got the same floor plan as the model, but at move in I found that mine had chipped counters/cabinets, dirty tile grout, and dated wall borders in the bathrooms that look really tacking. It was obviously an addition by a previous tenant, but the agent tried to play it off that it was a nice added touch. This was NOT in the model. The list is too long for my disappointments here. I pay for pest control, but the bugs are big enough to carry away my car. The gym is ridiculous! Equipment is outdated and often does not work. Most of the pool deck lighting is burned out, so it is apparent that the amenities are not a focus here. Although the office and maintenance staff has always been responsive and friendly when I have contacted them, the property itself is low quality. I have not had the negative experiences that others have regarding the staff. Its sad because it has so much potential if time and $$ would be invested on improvements.
Please read!!!!! Moved in middle of July its now the end of August and Im ready to move!!! Spider webs in almost every bush outside. My apartment is filled with roaches! Ive called pest control twice and it still hasnt fixed the bug issue. The hallways are filled with moths and roaches as well. Its strange because they charge every month for pest control. Imagine walking through the big bug jungle with a 9monrh old ducking and dodging bugs. My back patio has paint chippings on the rail that needs repainting that I was promised but never received! Office staff is ok attitudes could be better. The apartments need to be renovated for the price that they are. The cabinets, walls, and refrigerators are super old. The only positive thing I can say about the community is its fairly quiet and its gated. Im seriously considering breaking my lease I wouldnt call this place home its not comfortable enough for me, my child or anyone else!!!
I paid like 900 dollars in a non refundable deposit. Now that I left the apartment a collection agency wants 600 dollars! I never got a notification from the apartment to pay or resolve this issue. Normally they are always out of the office or can`t pick the phone. So is hard to resolve issues unless you go very early to the office in person.Would not recommend this place unless you are a millionaire and want to maintain them for years. The hidden fees is true, but all the apartment complexes have it. There are cheaper apartments close by with less fees and ridiculous rules.
Lived here for a year...only thing negative I have to say is the building that I live in doesnt have enough parking spots. Maintenance usually completes work orders within the same day. The property is quiet. Rarely hear my neighbors. The office staff are nice. Moving to be closer to my job.
The office staff are clowns. Do not move there if you have no credit. the deposit is more than the rent. The deposit is non-refundable just because.... not because you have BAD credit but none. The water bill is invoiced 60 days behind. If you move out. You have 10 days to pay the final bill or they send it to collections. So you can pay all their fees, the rent every month on time and still end up in collections for 150.00. No courtesy call, no nothing....750.00 a month for 12 months NEVER late.... dont pay the last invoice within 10 days counting the weekends.... collections - Priceless.
9/1/14 Before moving into Grande I read all reviews. The apartment complex has a very low score when it comes to ratings. Because of the reviews my boyfriend and I decided to continue looking for an apartment in Duluth. We are new to the area so we really didnt have anything to go bybesides reviews. We had no luck with our apartment search so Grande Club end up becoming one of our final choices. I spoke with a co-worker who previously lived here and he said he liked his apartment however the parking near building 8 was very limited. But besides that he didnt have anything negative to say. So with no luck anywhere else my boyfriend and I took a tour and decided we would give it a try. Especially since most reviews are usually made by people who are upset over something small. So after five months of living here I have to say this place is actually great! We live by the park which initially I thought was going to be chaotic. There are a lot of children in this complex however you rarely see any of them. The building I live in we have no trouble with parking whatsoever. Its very quiet and the complex is small, there are only 8 buildings which I love. On move in day the guy above us was moving out but he let us know he loved this complex and had been here for four years. Whenever we put in a maintenance request it is handled quickly. The only things I dont like would be the minor repairs that could be handled. Our laundry door is a little off the hinges as well as our patio door. We also cant open the windows because the screens are kind of bent so bugs would get in. We havent reported these things to be fixed because theyre really not a big bother. But to sum it all up from my experience Grande Club is a great start off complex in Duluth. Nothing major to complain about. I enjoy the peace and quiet :)------------ Update ------------1/19/16 Were coming up on our 2nd year at our apartment however we now have a new baby so we will be moving when our lease is up this April. My original post still holds true and the minor repairs I mentioned have been fixed. Still no complaints with this complex. We are a low key couple so we dont really deal with management unless we really have to. We pay our rent online and go about our day. Maintenance team is still Fast and friendly. I really dont know who works in the office or how the staff is because as I said we never have had any complaints to even bother going in there. I would recommend this apartment to anyone I know. I dont see how anyone has issues with such a small quiet complex. We will definitely miss it.
I completed 2 years at Grande Club. First of all let me say that Michelle the Manager is EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT. Shes rude and has no customer service skills. Also, She charged me for anything and everything on my move out. She even charged me 300$ for couches that I threw at the dumpster. Besides that....The 2 bedroom 2 bath I had was really spacious and I had no problem with the community. Experienced a roach infestation half way through my lease which was probably because of neighbors moving in but the pest control company they used solved the issue in a timely manner.Dont throw your furniture on property...Shell get you :)
The maintenance staff were the only helpful people in the complex. The office staff are extremely rude and only care about getting you into the contract so they can trap you with hidden fees, work orders went months without any sort of response unless the work order came straight from the office. It took three months for a water leakage that caused a giant muddy pool by a curb that was entirely unsafe to begun being fixed. And that was only after asking, not the staff, but the maintenance workers about it. One of our windows fell out when the front door was closed. Neither of the bathtubs drain properly and you end up showering in a foot of your own filth, than it takes almost a full day to drain. One staff member will say one thing while another will turn around and not only ignore what the other staff member said but they will say that they cannot vouch for any other staff. The manager(s) are never available when needed, and once again the staff dont care about any of their residents once they sign the contract. Avoid this place like the plague, they overcharge for a very, very poor service.
Dont be fooled about the apartment complex. Their management is out to exploit any penny they can get from you. The current manager is not experienced in apartment management and is very unprofessional. Please dont waste your time living in a place you will eventually regret. Its not worth it! Once you pay your security deposit, forget about it because they will make sure you dont get it back. Most times they claim more issues after move out and you might owe more than your security deposit. One of the worst management practices of any apartment that I have lived in. Be warned!
My move in date was Jan 15th 2019. So, I have to update my review from my experience .Its now November 11th 2020.I keep my unit very clean but I see lots roaches and I do not like that AT ALL ! It doesnt matter how well you keep your unit , roaches will soon come out !!!!!
DO NOT MOVE HERE!! Management is horrendous! Bell Residents is not a company worthy of leasing with. They have treated my friends that lived there for 2 years with utmost Disrespect. If you ever start the application process you will start to see the lies come out one by one. Maintenance staff is great! Office staff and upper management including the regional manager,HORRIBLE. There are pleanty of other rental properties that are better when it comes to treating people how they should be treated. Smh
Good thing about this complex, i never had an issue with safety.Complex is pretty quiet most of the time. There are a handful of kids that play on the tennis courts and parking lot near the courts because there is no area for the kids to play.Pest Control is horrible.I had 2 different units in 2 separate buildings and i had problems with spiders, roaches, fleas, etc.I DONT HAVE ANY PETS.i complained every other week pest control claimed because they dont see the bugs i didnt have an issue. My most recent unit had a small kitchen fire, During the repairs of my unit Grande club refused to put me and my Family in a Temp. Unit. And they could not give us a time frame on when we could move back into our unit.I HAVE A 1 1/2 YEAR OLD AND A 6 MONTH OLD! After 2 months of waiting for our unit Management decided to terminate our lease due the unit being Unlivable. My renters insurance paid for all damages caused by the fire but Grande Club sent me a bill for $3,000. I would advise looking for a complex with better management.Just an update. This complex has had collection company report the cost of damages from the fire on my credit and even though they have recieved payment for all cost and agreed to realease me of any more balances,They refuse to remove it off my credit. They are crooks if you ask me.
Ive been here for 3 months and so far everything is great! Apartments are nice and the location personally is so convienent. You have to make a lot of U-Turns but Ive grown used to it. The neighbors are pretty friendly and its mostly quiet at night. Hopefully things are still great the remainder of the time Im here but I definitely recommend this place.
We tried viewing these apartments on two separate occasions. The first time they were closed for lunch so we moved on. No big deal. The second time we waited for almost 20 minutes and then were asked to wait in our car so she could show an apartment to someone else. She claimed she was the only one working and had to lock the office, but two other obvious employees had just come in and they still had 2 hours before closing. The place itself looked nice enough, but I was not impressed with the service.
Whats sad about this complex is the complex itself is actually nice. Lately has been more commotion than normal but pretty quiet most days. The thing that makes living here a less than 1 star experience is the management. From my experience the staff is horrible. You would think the corporate staff would be able to correct any issues but they have the exact same demeanor as the onsite staff. My Family experienced a small kitchen fire in Aug. of 2015(I had renters insurance and no one was hurt or injured) The staff pretty much left my family in the cold.(My Husband,1 1/2 year old, and my newborn)They refused to give us a temporary unit and also could not provide us with a date as to when repairs would be made.after about 2 1/2 weeks of calling and calling to find out when we could move back in the decided they would terminate my lease because the still could not provide a date of when repairs would be made. They also put me at liability for the damages but that didnt matter to me because my renters insurance had agreed to pay the damages. But once Grande club Terminated my Lease the manager threatened report the cost of damages to collections if i didnt pay in 10 days(they were asking for $32,000) Mind you she (Michelle) had already spoke with my insurance company and knew they were going to pay.To make a long story short they put the incident on my credit and still received a check from my insurance company. AND THEY STILL REFUSE TO REMOVE IT OFF MY CREDIT. I can not provide another home for my family til this day because of that.Very evil people your dealing with at Grande Club.
Rude staff, infested with ants and roaches, people just let their dogs run around off their leashes. The salt water pool supposedly closes at 10pm, but the maintenance staff just lock it up whenever they feel like. Not that it matters, theres always a group of young, loud shitheads hopping the fence and throwing over lounge chairs and tables.Frankly, I hate it here and cant wait to flee. The cost of rent is sooooOOOOoooo ridiculously high.New tenants beware! Random fees will appear on nearly every monthly rent bill.
Im posting this on behalf of my boyfriend who Ive been helping to find a apartment place here in atlanta. He choose The Grande Club Apartments because the units are nice, however the staff is a pure nightmare. He put down something close to 300 to rent the unit out later next month, and the 65 application fee. Before he applied he asked about what would reject him in a background check and they told him only felonies and other major things like that. He contacted the complex after he did the application and put his money down and asked if everything was fine and they told him everything was good to go. Now, suddenly, a week later theyre calling him and telling him that they found a misdemeanor on his record from back in 2006. He was like 17 or 18 in 2006 and theyre rejecting his application, even though this is something that was actually supposed to already have been taken care of by his lawyer. I find this unprofessional and even suspicious. His co-worker who referred him to this complex is going through a similar nightmare; After putting down her money and running his application, they waited two weeks before calling him and telling him that his credit wasnt good enough for them and that in order for him to live there he needed to pay rent plus another half of the rent more. NONREFUNDABLE.There is something not right here and it is clear to me that this complex is ran by a corporation that works within grey areas and loop holes to surprise their applicants and residents with hidden fees. Ive been to other review websites and have read similar complaints by their current residents, if you look, you will see this aswell. If their background check application fee is in-house, I guarantee they are scamming people. Even after he put his deposit down, which he was told would take the apartment off the market for him, the same unit was still available online to other applicants. Someone explain that to me.
I have been trying to reach someone from management to reach back to me regarding my resent move out, but none has return any of my calls. I have left many voicemails and I have submitted several requests online and so far nothing. At this point I’m being forse to contact BBB
I currently reside at a Pinnacle Property. If you want a place to live where there is no follow-up, the General Manager does not hold their word, apartments get condemned, and zero response to both emails and phone calls from the corporate office then this is the place for you.
Decent place but the front desk manager or whoever is very rude ( a man) and they have difficulty when you ask them to fix something always you can do it and we can’t. Otherwise it’s a decent place, bugs are a bit out of control even though they try I still think it’s bad service on the customer service side.
Do not move here !!!! They will take advantage of you !!! There was a problem with the gate and they blamed us but refused to show us any proof and told us we would be evicted if we did not pay for it we had to get lawyers involved as well as the insurance company that they didn’t show any proof to either !!’the professionalism is not good at all
This complex is like living at home, it feels very comfortable, safe and comfortable, the price-value ratio is excellent, its apartments are safe since its administration takes care that those of us who live there receive a pleasant, respectful and very cordial treatment, I recommend widely for those who need to live in a central, safe and easily accessible area, the staff that manages and maintains the complex have great professional ethics that make it feel like family, for these and other reasons we recommend my wife and I to the Bello Complex Great club to live comfortable, safe and well cared for,Thanks to all the Grande Club staff for having given us so much attention during the time we lived in your complex.

2022-05-14Maintenance is very nice, the office people are pretty good as well as long as youre able to get ahold of someone. My spouse and I have lived here for almost 2 years now and have been BEGGING for a garage near our building. But it seems that 5 out of the 10 garages in front of our building are filled with maintenance supplies and apartments appliance replacements... Which is completely unfair to the residents, I believe. Those of us with 1 bedroom apartments, could surely use the space as it was an amenity that was offered to us upon signing the lease and then they told us there are none available....... Weve never been late on any payments nor have we caused issues at all while being here and weve been more than willing to pay extra each month for a garage, my spouse works in construction and would really appreciate using a garage that was meant for the residents use in the first place... I understand the convenience of having those supplies and appliances on site but its very unfair to those who live here to have to find storage elsewhere. Maintenance supplies and appliances should be held in a completely separate building that wouldnt impact and inconvenience the residents..My spouse and I have also noticed a huge German Roach (these pests among many others can carry dysentery) problem when we first moved in, lots of nooks and crannies not completely sealed off from the outside and to other apartments. Some of the other residents are extremely careless, leaving garbage in the hallway and leftover food for stray cats to eat making it difficult for pest control do maintain and/or eliminate the issue. So my spouse and I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to repel pests. For the most part it has worked in our apartment, on our porch and outside our front door.I believe a lot of cost would be eliminated if property management would invest in a security camera system, the residents would feel a lot safer, the gate wouldnt be ran into as much and it would keep those who keep leaving trash and feeding stray cats accountable and therefore eliminate most of their costly problems. Whenever we have reported things, weve been told to take pictures of the person doing it. As you could probably guess, some people do not take kindly to getting their pictures taken and we dont want our property to possibly vandalized if someone doesnt appreciate having their picture taken. Its not entirely the fault of property management, a lot of residents do not care for their space and dont take care of things. In fact when we moved in, we found a used condom on top of our cabinets in the kitchen along with a lighter and paraphernalia. As a result of these things my spouse and I will most likely be terminating our lease next year.Property management also graciously added a cute little dog park by building #8 that some of the residents take advantage of, some people refuse to pick up their animals defication. Someone also broke one of the gates. For the record my dogs love the dog park and I think it was an excellent addition to the community.

2022-05-23The maintenance issue was resolved in a timely manner. However, trash was left on my floor in the kitchen and items were moved and not placed back where they were. Overall good job, but just be a little more neat.

2022-07-26I certainly appreciate the Property Manager coming by my apartment with the maintenance personnel to listen to my concerns. If you really want longevity with your tenants, treat them the way you would like to be treated.

2022-04-20The kitchen faucet is still leaking. Every service request have been completed but this one. I think the washer heads have gone bad and need replacing for both hot and cold handles.

2021-11-09My aunt moved here after getting a divorce and leaving her home. I stayed with her a week when I was visiting. She had always kept a clean home and very extravagant furniture. So to have bugs I couldn’t believe. This place is roach infested, bugs crawling out of vents and cracks (lines of bugs) they don’t come spray, she would leave them messages etc with no response at all. Apartments and carpet is old!!! No light fixtures in the rooms have to have lamps. Please avoid this place! No one should have to worry about if bugs are gonna be on them when there sleeping or resting. The neighbors are loud and obnoxious play music all threw the night, scream are up until about 5 a.m so clearly no one works. Find somewhere else to stay!!!!!!! This is bare minimum living. The staff is terrible also. Who is the management company of this place? They all need to be replaced. They don’t care, they don’t respond & they do the bare minimum in the work place.

2021-04-30Honest review: the apartment was good for about two months, then the issues began. Anytime there is an issue and you call the front office they just pass the phone around to anyone who is there without actually doing anything for the problem. I have maintenance issues that were never fixed from when I originally moved in last year. Half of my apartment is filled with the smell of marijuana from other tenants that has been ongoing for months and nothing has actually been done about it even though several calls and emails have been had with management. Gate is also broken half of the time. Left for a weekend trip and came back to cockroaches in my bedroom. Not worth it.

2021-05-18Grande was my first home staying alone. I stayed here for 9 years. So many ups and downs in my personal life and I always had someone assisting me in the apartment office. It’s a beautiful place, I had so many friends that visited and ended up moving here. My family grew and needed more space that’s why I left otherwise the best apartment I ever lived at.

2021-01-30My car was flooded because the complex has a flood area that they probably wont point out to new residents; they never pointed it out to me. On top of that, I lost two packages on the property, one that was definitely stolen out of a locked mailbox because the mailboxes are loose/broken. Dont move here. You dont want these kinds of life problems from the apartment you move into.

2020-08-12So far I am very pleased with the property. The maintenance team is superb! They keep the grounds neat and clean, always keeping the garbage area tidy which I really appreciate bc it’s at the main entrance and it’s the first thing you see when you enter the property. Also any repairs are handled in a timely manner even though we are in a very serious pandemic. The halls are well lit as well as the parking lot and that means a lot to me. I feel safe here.
