When I needed my car towed. I called Griffin Towing and spoke to Della Chilson. She made the experience as painless as possible. She knew what she was talking about&made sure I understood what was going on. She even checked back in with me to make sure, everything went smoothly. Her and the company both deserve 5stars. Ive referred them to everyone I know, for just incase purposes!

These people give me crook vibes. To all my followers Please I beg you, stay away from these people. I have had to fight and argue to get my own property out of my own vehicle. They held my meds hostage from me, after I explained that I was involved in 3 wrecks in one month, and I really needed my meds. The staff are rude and demanding. I was treated as a criminal, only for trying to get my own property. They took my truck and hid it, then hid the keys. The have a no locked door policy from what the man in the yard told me. Sad part is my last name is Griffin as well lol. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. They took my vehicle without my authorization. When the could have simply left in in the parking lot beside the accident scene.

Despite the amount of negative reviews on this company, I chose them anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had to get a late night tow from the middle of Fort Benning to my house on out on Exit 7. From the beginning, the rep who took my call, I believe her name was Jennifer, was kind, courteous, and professional. She gave me a price, and told me when the tow truck would be there. He came right on timemtime,a gave mejme loaded my car up, and placed my vehicle in its parking spot in an extremely tight parking lot. Driver named Victor, truck #606, was proficient, professional, and kind. Great company, great workers, and great prices. Couldnt have been happier with my experience. If you check the reviews before going with this company, these folks were awesome all around. Polite, professional, and an unbeatable price.

My car broke down in the middle of Macon Rd during rush hour. I called your company and a gentleman by the name of Tony came out. This company was awesome! We were passing through Columbus on our way to Florida and our car broke down at an intersection! After the first tow truck left us (Cole Towing), Griffin and Griffin came to our rescue. They were very professional and helped us out of a very stressful situation! They even helped us find a hotel to stay in for the night!
Chris customer service was excellent. Car broke down in the middle of the road and before i could even call a towing company Chris was pulling up right behind me ready to help. He literally pushed my car alone to the closest gas station (across a main road) and stayed with me to make sure gas was the problem. Right on time will be using this company any time any place.

On my way home from work on JR Allen had a blow out on the highway. Call was placed to Griffin &Griffin to get towed. Dispatcher said it would be 25 to 30 minutes before truck would get there BUT 10 minutes later BIGMO called and said he was on the way. VERY, VERY, VERY professional and super nice guy. The whole experience was GREAT would most definitely recommend and use them againAAAA++++++ service.

A friend of mine caught a flat in a bad neighborhood and called for a tow. Chris was the driver that was sent to her and made her feel a little more comfortable about her surroundings. I have to give a mixed review here. The ladies in the office were polite and professional. The guys in the lot were nice, too. Having no public bathroom is a problem. We had to park outside the gate and walk like half a mile to get to my car and carry everything back to the gate. My body shop guy came to tow my car around 4pm, but Griffin and Griffin wouldnt release the car 1 hour before closing at 5pm. That would have good to know beforehand. My body shop guy came back the next morning to get the car, then he gets hassled about the release form was only good for the previous day.
My car broke down and they sent a driver named Chris. He was quick, loaded the car like it was his own and made me feel better about the situation. Highly recommend this company and the driver they sent out.
These people damaged my car while in the process of taking it to a body shop and I understand things happen but they didn’t even tell me. I had to investigate to figure it out and no one ever apologize and they took their time to get it fix(almost two months) never offered a rental or anything. I wouldn’t recommend them to ANYBODY not only did they damage my car but the workers also went through my car. The city should really find another company to do business with cus this business is definitely not a good look for them. MY CAR WAS DAMAGED AT GRIFFIN AND GRIFFIN AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT, WHY WOULD YOU PAY FOR SOMETHING IF IT WASNT DAMAGE BY YOU AND IM GOING TO MAKE SURE EVERYBODY KNOWS ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE...Be bless

I needed a jump start So I called my roadside and they sent out the cool guy Chris B. I couldnt even figure out how to open my hood but Chris seemed to know right where the button was and then showed me So I would know for next time. Then showed me all the blue stuff all over my battery and I just knew it was going to be an expencive fix!!! But this car guru chris actually said he could clean it up and in under 5 min. He had that battery looking brand new and all the blue stuff was gone. Magic man / maricle worker chris then explained to me that my car wouldnt get a proper charge because the blue stuff was blocking the power from the altinator to the battery.. makes perfect sense now.... But thank you Chris for the jump start and the lesson.. I hope if I ever need help again he is the guy they send out to rescue me.
After waiting almost 2 hours for coles towing to come and to my car I called tuffs towing..Tuffs towing was very quick in response time..took only 10 minutes to get to me and we got car towed. Verry professional and outstanding response time..I will only use tuff towing from here on And recommend only Tuffs towing to everyone. Thank you Tuffs towing so much...

Very unprofessional!!! Bad customer service!!!! I am a (US Army veteran) in Memphis, Tn and my daughter (US Army veteran) had a accident in Columbus, GA in a car that was in my name. I had to fax the document notarized affidavit to release the vehicle to Griffin and Griffin towing company. Then sent a photocopy of what I had sent to my daughter. She then email the towing company the document the same day. Three days later I received a certified mail stating that I owned $155 plus 25 per day for the car not being released to USAA. They stated that they never received an email or fax.
Victor has great customer service.And he was on time coming to pick up my car i dont have to wait long at all.He also very caring make sure everyone was alright before he towed the car away.
When my girlfriend broke down they were there in minutes to help get her situated. Victor even joked with me to help lighten the mood because we both were upset. If I need towing service again Im definitely going with them.

A while ago I needed a vehicle towed back home. Chris Brookins was there in a timely manner. But the problem was that I had a load on the vehicle being towed. Without even asking he began helping transfer the material from one truck to the other.

After being told by the tow truck driver that he was in route (15min) I waited at least 45 minute before I called the dispatcher and that’s when I was told that she canceled my tow truck due to 911 being their first priority! Im just glad I wasn’t alone and stranded in an unfamiliar area! This company is so unprofessional and inconsiderate of their customers. Either you work for the city or the insurance company because it’s obvious your company can’t do both.
First time I used this company had a bad experience I let it go but second time having the same issues not so much. Im sure the reviews that are 5 star on here are fake ones for sure must be friends or family members. Anywho driver is not punctual, acts like its a burden to do his job, complains about the vehicle condition and towing and doesnt put it in the driveway all the way bc he doesnt want his truck to get scratched underneath, yes its a hill but not a super bad hill and its a tow truck meant for towing and placing vehicles where they need to be. Lets not forget about the fact that he has to follow you to your destination and not use his towing lights so you dont see him behind you and hes driving under 40 mph on a highway totally dangerous. Hopefully we wont have to resort to this company again. Maybe some additional training and maybe the ACTUAL HONEST reviews will help the training.
My car was towed following an accident. The next day I was given a hard time retrieving my personal items from the car. I also found additional damage to my car that was not from the wreck.

I had a bad battery and called this service and Victor Berry came and assisted me with finding out my problem and towed my car to my home. Excellent services and very professional.
Ill try and keep this short and sweet. If I could give 0 stars I would. The lady in the office was completely rude! My mother-in-law was in a car accident and ended up with cracked ribs and her pelvis broken in 3 places. My husband ended up having to take her down there to get her things out of her car and they made it nearly impossible. My mother-in-law can barely walk and it was 100° out yesterday and they wanted HER to get in and out of the vehicle and walk all around the place and her car. Obviously, my husband wasnt going to stand for that and every time my he would step in, they had an issue with it. Needless to say, he got her things out in the end. I would like to add, the guys out in the yard were great and I wouldnt mind dealing with them again.
Chris came out and did a good job. He was very respectful and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
I bought a cechike from an individual broke down and was stranded and got in touch with Griffin and Griffin towing and they sent out I believe the best the truck driver Ive ever seen he backed that truck up thought I was watching a live version of maater thought we were ginna have to push thus 4 runner out so he could get it but he got rught up to me and wincged that baby in uo without breaking a sweat Chris Brookins thank you for getting my car to the shoo and thank you Griffin an Griffin for having kind professional drivers like Chris have felt with some not so nice if drivers before but this guy was awesome will definitely use again when I need a tow

I had my vehicle towed from my work place to an auto repair shop because of a frayed alternator belt. When the driver dropped off my car the repair shop was close . The shop did not have a drop box for keys so instead of securing the car at his lot or even giving me a call he just left the keys in my car. My vehicle was stolen that night. The company is saying they will not help me at all with the costs.
Call for a tow thru my insurance company. Told ETA was 46 minutes. I recieved a call form the driver,and he said let me call the office and Ill call you right back A additional 45 minutes my insurance company calls and tells me they canceled. No call back .

Absolute racket. Tow a car from the scene of a wreck, not towing to the body shop requested, then charge an additional tow fee to tow to body shop it was supposed to be taken to. Then make you bring vehicle registration to the lot to get in the veh, the owner has to be present? How about if the owner lives in another state? Place makes rules just to make things more difficult so the car has to stay in lot and get more money daily.What happen to honest businesses?
Car is being held hostage in their lot. On paper somehow they sold it. 5 Police Officers, 2 People trying to pay for it and 2 Stolen Vehicle reports later these lazy people refuse to verify the VIN on the coincidentally identical vehicle they have in their lot. What a coincidence. They arent allowing anyone to go near it or on their yard. Of course if you screw up reading the VIN on the car and you input it screwed up its not going to be there versus re-taking it, which by the way how? It took the police 15 minutes to find where it was written because it doesnt have a plate with it and somehow the ghost car isnt there. Amazing losing track of a whole car. Ill see you in court.

Driver messed up the frame of my vehicle. Company will not be responsible. DONT CALL THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE THE LESS EXPENSIVE.

After they towed my car it had scratches on the right side black marks in my yellow paint they took a hunk out of the rim with a hunk of the tire on the side of it.
They were prompt and were able to get my car within 15-20 mins after a previous towing company took over 3 hours to get my car

2022-03-16Warren picked up my vehicle from an accident I was in. Griffin towing was amazing through the process and was the cheapest around. They also got out to the site very fast. Warren did a phenomenal job! Will be the company I recommend to my friends and family.

2022-03-22Warren was very hospitable and skillful at his job. He loaded my car without issue and kept me calm and laughing through the whole process. He was on scene in like 20 minutes not 2 hours like previous tow experiences. I recommend Griffin and Griffin Towing for any roadside assistance service. They will be my go to from now on.

2022-02-28My car was towed to their lot following an accident. The young man was really nice. About a week later I needed to get some important papers from car. I was hurt in the accident and in pain had to walk from the office down to the yard where my car was which isnt close especially when youre in pain. A couple days later I had to go retrieve my belongings since my car was totaled by the insurance company and omg that was something else. The people in the office are great, friendly and helpful but the guy in the yard just sat on his cart talking on the phone while I struggled to load my things on the back of his cart. I had a seperated shoulder and torn tendon so it was difficult to say the very least. Im not sure who raised this young man but its sad that he sat there and continued talking on his phone and watched me struggle. I would have gladly gave him a tip for his help so its not like he wouldve been helping me for free. Customer service and being considerate goes a very long way and he really missed the mark on that. This was my first experience with someone this unprofessional and Ive dealt with a towing company previously following an accident and the experience was totally different. Maybe he was tired or just didnt feel like it was his job but good grief I figured since I asked for help he was going to help me but I think his idea of help was driving my belongings outside the gate. I politely put my $20 tip back in my pocket and moved on so my advice is make sure you have someone with you who can help you but in my case it was last minute when my insurance company called me and figured they would have someone there at the yard who could help me. I was wrong.

2022-04-08Tez was my tow truck driver and did a job valued well over 5 stars. My front right ball joint separated from the bearing after driving over a speed bump on Fort Benning, GA. I scheduled the tow through my insurance company and Tez quickly called me to let me know he was on my way. He called me again to get through the military check point and found my truck with no issues. Tez was very kind and friendly. He immediately got to work and ensured I was okay with everything he was doing. He loaded my truck quickly while not causing any additional harm to my dismembered wheel and tire. We drove separately to the body shop and he was able to exceed their expectations when unloading the truck. He dropped the truck, working with the mechanics, in the bay and had it perfectly positioned to raise on the lift. This was completed in a single attempt. I am very grateful for Tez and believe he is an incredible representation of Griffin and Griffin towing. They should be proud to have a driver like him. Thanks again Tez!

2022-04-13Tez was awesome and friendly. He deserves a raise because I have never been treated so kindly in a stressful situation with my car breaking down. He was on time, prompt, and very helpful. He even went the extra mile to make sure I was okay. He put my all of bags in the Uber for me.
