Guest Inn-Six Flags in Austell
I had low expectations going in due to fairly affordable price. The only thing good about this hotel was that I could walk to six flags. The floor was slanted, the bathtub looked gross and we were only allowed 4 towels a day. I tried to turn in dirty towels for more and they still refused to give me more. It rained at six flags and we needed an unscheduled shower.Addendum: the hotel responded that I could have gotten more towels but this is not true. We attempted to turn in dirty towels for more but was told no more
Room was pretty gross, there bathtub hadnt been cleaned in awhile. And the bathroom door was broken, wouldnt close. Carpet needed to be cleaned badly. Hotel manager was very nice though, and it was very close to six flags Georgia, two blocks away.
We are at this hotel right now. We came from out of state and wanted a hotel that was close to Six Flags. Its definitely close to the park, but there are a few issues with this hotel. The electrical outlets are coming loose from the walls, the shower doesnt work, and they dont serve breakfast unless Six Flags is open daily. The customer service at the desk is great so thats why there are 2 stars instead of 1. I paid $65 for one night and expected a little more from this place.
The staff was friendly, but the room was very disappointing. Due to the fact that i couldnt receive a refund, we stayed 4 hours & checked out. The room felt unclean, and out of date (1970s decor)The toilet seat had been spray painted to cover damage. The floor was uneven, damaged & had been covered with carpet. (Old box tv, microwave & mini fridge)I just recommend a complete renovation for this hotel, definitely not worth $75
It was awful for the price,kids was scared to get in the shower it was so nasty ,and it looked like something was growing in the coffee pot.To top it all off i found a used rubber on the floor under bed when i was leaving .I paid 130.00 for 1 night here .Straight hood
I think the person who helped me check in is friendly and kind. For the price of a non-smoking king bedroom there are toiletries provided, a microwave, mini-fridge, a safe, hair dryer, coffee and coffee maker in addition to a table with decently comfortable chairs to set in. My room has no issue with cleanliness.
I would give them a -10 if i could but couldnt leave a comment without giving tgem a star they didnt deserve. This is the worst hotel ever. The bathroom wasnt completely clean, the towels we had were not clean but was told to us that they are clean just stained from people wiping their hands with them. The room was pretty much run down and later that night i was awakend out of my sleep irritated by my arm continuing to inch and when and woke up i had bumps on my arm from being bit by a bed bug. My boyfriend and i killed like 4 bed bugs and the front office tried to deny it when i went to complain about it.
The man running the place was very nice but the rooms for 80 dollars a night the good ones must be a 1000 a night it was not clean at all everything broken down mold dirt all the stuff you would find in a abandoned building Id love to come show them how to clean
We were desperate fleeing Hurrican Matthew and had no choice. Everything was booked. The rooms are filthy. It would be worth driving a frew more miles to somerhing cleaner. The toilet had feces on it. Showers had not been cleaned. Found a cell phone under air-conditioner and behind the head of beds was trash. Not pleasant at all.
The only reason that I agreed to stay was the nice gentleman at the desk. And the fact that I couldnt get a refund. The place is really a dump. It stinks!! We didnt use the shower because it still had hair in it from the previous occupants. And to pay $80 to stay....really really upsets me. Never again!!!!!
It stinks very bad. I would never stay again!!! Everything stink even the air conditioner air stinks! Bathroom look awful towels and wash clothes look old and brownish. Im scared to take a shower or use they things or even get in the bed! This hotel should be redone. It needs new everything and when you call front desk they dont answer and something came up missing out my room and they claim they didnt but overall I would recommend this hotel!!!
If I could give a zero I would. I am with metro pcs I had no signal the entire stay. They had 4/5 different WiFi networks and NONE worked. I normally watch Netflix and was unable to do so due to no stable connection. I eventually called the office from room phone the phone didn’t work properly so I called from my cell phone with one signal bar and had to keep repeating myself due to awful connection but it was freezing outside and I didn’t feel like walking to office. He said he didn’t know why it wasn’t working for me no one else complained about the WiFi not working it must be my device I explained to him I had several devices and their top end and none of them kept a stabile connection. Room was outdated. Waste of money 74$ I do not recommend ever.
Its disgusting! Found an earring in the bathroom which hints to the fact they dont clean. There is a car in the parking lot that has apparently been vandalized. The toilet wouldnt flush. Nice man came and fixed that luckily. On the plus side its very close to six flags.
Great price. Great staff. Bed was uncomfortable, AC didnt work, and shower didnt really get hot.
Its a nice place to stay. The people who run it, are very nice. They welcome my daughter, & I with open arms. We come here often! 3 I first came here in March, 2017! One thing, I do like is the price!!!

Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our day. Friendly banter between colleagues was kept appropriate in front of all riders @Goliath and Twisted Cyclone. In fact it provided for a friendly family atmosphere. Thank you SFOG.
We parked here for the Six Flags visit and saved $20. The facility appeared clean and was more convenient than the traditional Six Flags parking lot
The staff was friendly and helpful but the room was very outdated and run down. The location was good for six flags but kind of far outside of town otherwise.

I booked this place out of desperation. Checked in, stayed 10 minutes, and left. It didnt feel safe. Old, stinky, and a motel (not hotel). Not recommended.
Sheets were dirty! Bathroom was dirty! go talk to the concierge at the front desk and he wants to argue and debate with you! Took a hour to switch the room! Poor customer service!

Absolutely horrible !! MESSAGE TO THE OWNER :OF COURSE I DIDNT STAY,REASON #1 ONCE I OPENED THE DOOR THE STINCH SMELL #2THE WALLS WERE DINGY AS HELL #3THE SHEETS AND FLOOR WAS FILTHY AND CRACKS IN THE WALL PAINTING....ONCE I WAS GIVEN A KEY CARD AND SWIPED TO GO IN I IMMEDIATELY BUST A U-TURN AFTER SEEING THE VISUALS OF THE ROOM.
Bed was hard and woke up every 2 hrs due to sounds of A.C. and wish the shower had a little better water presher with hotter water.
We were only at this location because we were visiting Six Flags over Georgia and this location has to cheapest parking payment anywhere close to the Six Flags entrance.
This place is not permanently closed. The information here is wrong and these people need to verify the information with hotel before posting such things. It is no longer Knights Inn but they are now Guest Inn. Google call the hotel and verify with hotel because I work there. IT IS OPEN
Do not stay here to dirty also this place not for semi trucks even though they say yes stay away they charged 250 dollars for this they called police

2021-12-21Our family reserved a room for our first visit to Six Flags as a new season member. We first we informed that our room was given away, and another room was ready. The room had insect carcasses (roaches, ants, flies, etc.) in the bathroom toilet, on the countertops, and throughout the room. We addressed the manager and he informed us that all their rooms were thoroughly cleaned and offered to show us another room. Upon entering the room, we could see that it had been some time since it was dusted and some of the mirrors and counters still had child-sized handprints from the previous tenants. We attempted to convey our concern about health and safety and the staffs responsibility of keeping the facility up to regulatory standards for cleanliness. The owner then refused to speak about the issue further, removed our key cards from our possession, and still billed for the services. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else; unless you need an HOURLY RATE.

2022-01-17The manager at this location states that rooms are $320 per week and $55 dollars per night plus tax which is $67.70. I went to pay for a night and he tried to false advertise by telling me that the room is $65 plus tax which made it $76, and then I called and pretended I was someone else such as a different race than myself, and he told me $55 dollars plus tax which is $67.70. I feel that this manager discriminates against certain races of people and this matter needs to be dealt with.

2021-12-05Convenient location walking distance to six flags. Very quiet, well lighted and lots of parking. Video cameras everywhere so you dont have to worry so much of your vehicle ( also cobb county drives the parking lot regularly). STAFF was very friendly and nice its (family owned) laundry room is easy access. Rooms are clean and did not see one bug the whole stay (we stayed 3 wks) daily room service. If I ever need a hotel again this will be it!!! Also Convenient to highway 20.

2021-07-14The very worst. Room was dirty. Everything was sticky. The bathroom was disgusting. There was blood splatter on the tub and toilet. Had to change room twice. We slept in our clothes on top of the bed left within hours. Would not recommend.

2021-08-14I have been to budget motel (hotel) before, but this place is the pits. Stains on the mattress, the room smells weird, and they have the nerve to ask for $50 in cash as a deposit to not smoke in the room. What?!?! Who does that? Maybe it is a Georgia thing… I wanted to leave but I just spent $60 for an Uber to get there. Can’t wait to get out of here on Sunday. If you are on a budget, then go to a Red Roof inn and not this place. Wifi isn’t great.Customer service wasn’t good until I showed the guy my Military I.D. and just like that his attitude changed. Wow. I love this state, but right now… I can’t wait to get out of here. Please read the reviews before you book a hotel room. I got this room solely due to Convenience to get the Riverside Epicenter. Don’t book this motel if you are going to the epicenter from out of town. You have been warned

2021-07-06The family and I came to Six Flags for the Fourth of July weekend. We always stay here, this time we stayed from July 2 to July 5, 2021. The manager and staff is always friendly and nice. The room was clean, ac work, the mini fridge worked great, and the microwave worked. No one has never mess with our vehicle. However the best thing about staying right here is, if I dont want to drive to the park, it,s only a 5minute walk to the park.

2018-06-16The hotel could use some updating, but for the low price the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and cold. Perfect to come to after a long day at Six Flags!! The customer service was phenomenal. Our 7 year old accidentally left his favorite stuffed animal in the room when we checked out. The staff found it and put it aside, then mailed it back to us at their own expense!! We will definitely stay there again!!
