Room 117. Sat down to eat my Chick-fil-A and had a small roach walk up the wall in front of me. The shower needs to be removed and replaced, not Hampton Inn quality. If you plan on eating breakfast, it’s good but don’t expect to watch FoxNews they have that news channel blocked but not the others. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again. The outside is very deceiving. It’s a shame because the location is great.
GM Sandra was very rude.Room was never cleaned. Asked for garbage bags towels hand towels and face towels it was a problem. Never received it. They changed our rate second day staying there for more money told us either pay or get out!! I’ll never go there again for a family vacation!
They have a manager that talks to the staff terrible in front of guests. I think her name is Sandy but she was not there my last visit. The rooms were not ready to rent and she was making the other girls standing at the check in computer job harder. She argued with a guest who was a diamond member (like me). I will go to Doubletree or a Hampton in Tallahassee in the future to avoid her rudeness. It will be worth the drive!
Im not a guest. Im an employee who was fired today by Sandie, our new gm, because I clocked out after my work was done and she tried to force me to stay on the clock so that I could wait around for the truck delivery and put it away. I already have been working 9 days straight and exhausted and she had the nerve to tell me I abandoned my job and its not the truthShe is the worst gm in history to ever work for.
When i checked in i was waiting at the front desk for 20 minutes or more. No one checked on me at all. I asked for more towels never received anything. The room had a funny smell to it the fire alarm went off 3 times in the middle of the night. The house keeping manager was very rude and ghetto. The charged me an additional $100 because of an accident. I will never stay again
The manager name Sandra was very disrespectful and hung up the line while I was speaking . I was told I would receive my $100 deposit after viewing conference room clean up. After the clean up she stated I would have to travel back to Georgia to receive the deposit; I live in St. Petersburg Georgia and she was aware of my residential location.
Honestly. The rooms and stuff were okay. But, on more than one occasion we had to knock on the office door to get help after waiting for 5 minutes while hearing talking back there. Then for breakfast they were cleaning it up half of an hour before it was supposed to be over, which is obnoxious. As Diamond members we were not given waters and none to purchase in the lobby at 10 P.M. when I needed one. Oh but nobody in the front office to sell them anyways.Just kind of obnoxious.
Our stay with your Hampton Inn Bainbridge, was a very nice experience of a stay! We have nothing negative to say, it was very clean, Breakfast was a great selection! All the staff were friendly and we received the best hospitality! Thank you! We will stay again when come your way !
The hotel was very nice, staff was great to me and my spouse, room was very clean except shower! The shower floor was dirty but we just put a towel down to stand on because we was already tired and everything else was clean and nice. I got a super hot breakfast it was good we had omelettes, sausage, potatoes, fresh fruit cups, muffins and apple juice. Our experience was great 😊
King suite is spacious enough, but the shower needs to be replaced or resurfaced. Visible molding and stains throughout. A/C did not have an interface and fan located right next to the desk, which is not ideal for anyone traveling for work. Breakfast was good! The gym is also good for a hotel gym..
Floors were dirty in the room, food crumbs everywhere. Bathroom had caulk all over it tile missing also. Had to kill roach in the room. Tried to get a different room was told that they totally full but I know they were not because there were at least 12 rooms empty on the floor I was on, I know this because the doors were open. Almost half the rooms on the 2nd floor have been broken into. The wood was busted by the locks. Will not stay here again. Roach motel!!!
2 stars only because some of the workers were pretty cool; otherwise this stay wouldve been 1-star. After my stay, I sent a message to the Hampton website to tell them about my stay. I received a reply, but they didnt compensate for anything, yet had the balls to hint that I try that location again. This Hampton Inn location has been far below average, not necessarily due to staff, but due to the room(s) I was issued. My door was broken/pried open/damaged and needed repair. Key card didnt open the door, therefore the front desk had to let me in each time with the plug-in master door opener. The shower riddled with dark brown mold around the entire base inside and outside. I asked for a different room & eventually got another room, but decided to check out the next morning because the TV didnt work in the room I was put it.I checked out early because I didnt have a good stay due to room issues the entire stay. I heard of 2 customers who walked into their rooms & there was people INSIDE OF THE ROOM chillin who werent guests. Maybe thats why my door was broken....dudes breaking in to rooms just to chill....?....
BEDBUGS and a ruined Thanksgiving. DO NOT STAY HERE - it is not a safe environment. HILTON refuses to make amends for our medical, cleaning, replacement of luggage much less the mental stress caused by them renting us a room that they KNEW had bedbugs... and the bedbugs were everywhere! They were actively crawling around in the daylight. All of our clothes, hunting and fishing bags were contaminated. It cost us over $1000 in cleaning and replacement luggage and supplies. Hilton / Hampton Inn has not returned any of my phone calls or addressed the customer service claim we filed. Being a member of their rewards club means nothing to them. The Decatur County Department of Health was called and shut down the room and still Hilton has not even reached out to us. Its all disappointing and disgusting.
Reserved a room with king bed and sofa bed. Was put in a room with a king and lounge. The lounge also had food shoved under the cushion. Told staff that wouldnt work. I asked for another room with the sofa bed or two queens. I was told they didnt have any more rooms. I asked for a refund so we could go somewhere else so we could all sleep comfortably. I was told dont know what to tell ya Our room key never worked. After having them fix it twice I had to demand they come let us in the room. There were roaches crawling on the wall. The shower was disgusting. It was obvious it had not been cleaned. People were partying loudly all night. Room numbers had been ripped off the walls. It was obvious doors had been kicked in and were glued back together. It seemed like family and friends of staff are allowed to stay free a charge and party on the 3rd floor. Upon checking out the next morning the staff was unaware that anyone was even staying in the room we were in.
The first night I had bugs in my room, so the two ladies at the front desk had to go clean a room to move me to. They were nice and helpful. My stay was 6 days and on day 3, I asked the girl at the front desk to have my room cleaned, it didnt happen and the next morning there was no coffee for breakfast because they didnt have the right coffee filters. That night I requested to have my room cleaned again and it wasnt done when I returned in the evening. Also, the next morning there was no coffee. My room had a weird smell, was not clean and I was very disappointed. Went down to the front desk a number of times and there was nobody there to help. I stay in Bainbridge several times a year, but will not stay at this hotel in the future.
Shower was unsatisfactory as hardly any water coming out. Baby cockroaches in the room. Poor response at the front desk. Waffle maker was filthy and did not work but one day. Orange Juice maker was only water and when notified nothing done. Bill was almost 200 dollars per night this was outrageous for the service received. Thought being a Hilton Honors member me and my wife would have gotten better treatment. I will never stay at this property again and may rethink before I stay at another Hampton Inn period.
Let me start with the good. The lady working the front desk was very sweet when I checked in last night. The lobby was also nice. However, that is all that I have to say that is good. When I got to my room door, it was opened and looked like someone had tried to break into it. The shower was disgusting with mold everywhere. Needless to say, I won’t be back.
The worst experience I have EVER had at a hotel and I have stayed at some sketchy hotels in my day. We made a reservation for my entire family of 26 people (6 rooms) and got confirmations for all 6 rooms! Keep in mind we made these reservations in MARCH! We get there last night with the whole group and they told us they had no reservations for us and that they only had 4 rooms…so being the family we are we just kind of shrugged it off and we were going to make it work. We get up to our room and my aunts family is assigned to the room across from us. They use the key and there were PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THEIR ROOM!!! The people in the room were thrown off to say the least and rightfully so. When we went down stairs to figure out what to do the lady at the counter said no one was booked in that room…so we were now looking at having 10 people in 1 room…the lady eventually assigned my aunt another room that was already reserved for a party that hadn’t checked in yet. Literally recreating the exact situation we were in currently for the other party…During our stay, our sink had a broken handle (literally broken off the wall) that if you didn’t rig it a certain way the water wouldn’t work. Our AC didn’t work. We asked for extra towels since we had an extra couple in our room and they didn’t have any so we were stuck with 2 towels for the whole room or 5 people. Don’t even get me started on the breakfast…My husbands mom works with Hampton hotels, so we have seen the amazing quality of this chain…this IS NOT A HAMPTON!! I can honestly say if a higher up representative of Hampton showed up they would be embarrassed at how this hotel is representing their name…do better guys…for real. We traveled 5 hours to be here and almost didn’t have anywhere to sleep.
We always try to stay at Hampton Inn where ever we go and always find it very clean and very nice people, but we stayed in one last night that was not like the usual. The shower was in very poor condition. It actually had a big crack in one wall and the floor and other walls were in very poor condition also. There wasn’t enough bath towels or wash clothes for two people. The carpets were very stained and dirty.
I am SHOCKED this is a Hilton property. My room...the shower shelves have been ripped off, the shelve by the bed is hanging by a screw. The smoke detector looks like it caught fire and they just changed it but left the charred wall. There is BLACK MOLD in the closet. I wish I could send pics of all these things. I am thoroughly disappointed. If it wasnt so late in the day, Id check out and go elsewhere. I will never stay at this property again. A points recovery is the least they could do....and fix this room!!! I even had the front clerk walk through the room with me and HER words Im not surprised. I asked for the GMs card and she said, he aint got no cards, his last day is coming. Again, how this is a Hilton property is beyond me. If you want to email me, I got pics!!
I had a reservation for 9 nights. After driving 5 hours, the front desk receptionist informed me that they were sold out and were not sure when any rooms would be available. 4 other guests were in the lobby getting told the same information. This is the second time I’ve had issues with this hotel. In my precious stay, the shower had mold on the floor I was told no towels were available. This hotel needs to lose their accreditation as this is not up to Hilton’s standards.
Please be sure to read reviews before booking at this hotel. We came home with bed bugs which is costing us lots of money and Hampton would not do anything about. They refunded my room cost and said that was all they could do. It appears that only a week ago there is another review with bed bugs. I am so disappointed in lack of care and concern that Hampton has been in this whole process. NEVER WILL I STAY AT THIS PLACE AGAIN!!!!!!! i WILL KEEP REPORTING THIS SO NO OTHER FAMILY HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS EVER.......
I was in town for my Mother’s funeral. We came in last night with children in tow. The reservation was done by my Aunt so I was expecting to have a difficult time getting our rooms but exactly the opposite happened. Samantha Malloy at the front desk greeted us with a smile and had us checked in in no time. But she didn’t stop there. When she noticed my children crying and upset from the realization of losing their grandmother she came from around the desk and offered them ice cream sandwiches. That small kind gesture was enough to cheer my little ones up. She was excellent and I actually stopped to talk with her for while and express my appreciation. After heading upstairs we walked in to clean and completely sanitized rooms. This was one of the hardest days of my life but Hampton went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. While in Bainbridge don’t make the mistake of going anywhere else. The next time we’re in town I know exactly where I’m coming ☺️
My hotel room was full of cockroaches! Hotel staff was not available to try and relocate to another room and not available at checkout. In no way, should I have had to pay to stay at this roach motel. On top of that there was no coffee for breakfast. This hotel makes me seriously question my loyalty to Hilton properties....its probably time to find a new family of hotels. I will certainly never stay again at the Hampton Inn in Bainbridge, Georgia
I dont know where to begin. First thing was Lashondra, the manager was very rude. She clearly couldnt handle having other customer complaints, so she had a horrible attitude. Next, every door in the entire hotel was either severely damage or couldnt close at all. The staff wasnt friendly and there were not enough towels. There were no juice and any kind of beverage available for breakfast. This hotel experience was an absolute nightmare. I was better off sleeping in my car. If you see this place , do yourself a favor a drive past it very fast.
Upkeep needed work, the bathroom door was in need of repair (tightning of the hardware would do wonders for opening and closing operation and quietning it down) caulking all over the floor around the tub, as well as missing trim floor/wall behind toilet. Maintenance needs to pay attention to details.
Place has gone downhill over the past year. Elevators dont work, grass isnt cut, ice machine on the 3rd floor doesnt work, many of the doors look like they were kicked in, my ice bucket still had water in it, every door slams, desk and lamp were unplugged. It appears no one cares, as there is no attention to detail, or the money just isnt here to operate a hotel.
We checked in and upon examining the room we were literally shocked! Lots of mold in the shower. We went to the front desk to have our room changed and they checked us out and said they had no more available rooms! The parking lot had literally 5 cars in it!! But they were sold out??? Disgusting and disappointed highly! Corporate did nothing as well to help except give us 5k points. We have over 300k points but that doesn’t help when You can’t use them at a decent place! The staff seem to treat you different when you pay with points. Do they not know that you gain those points by paying to stay previously?? I’m sick of this brand! It has really changed over the years.Notice whe. You walk in this place the carpet at the entrance is nasty. Expect the same in your room and even more.
Was provided a room that had NO LOCK. Both the lock on the door and the wall had been removed. When I went back to the front desk, the employee on duty suggested I put a small ottoman up against the door and keep the light on over night since the room couldnt be secured. I said I couldnt sleep in a room where the door couldnt be locked. So the employee reassigned the room - only the card key wouldnt work so again I returned to the front desk. She walked me up there to use the master key and we found the room in total disarray - it had been trashed by a previous guest - it was unusable. The employee asked me to go back to the non-locking room. These were the only 2 rooms the hotel had to offer. Long story short I insisted the reservation be canceled and I went to a different hotel. The employee said not to worry - she would cancel the reservation - I asked for a voided reservation receipt on paper and the employee tried to redirect and redirect and I insisted on getting a printed cancelation - she handed me something with the room rate saying there was a $0.00 balance. I said this looks like you are showing me my card has been charged and she said no, no, its canceled and I said thats not what its saying. I had the feeling she was lying. During all of this my child also slipped on a puddle in the front 1st floor hallway where the ceiling was leaking and I heard another guest telling the front desk person that their card key also did not work. They billed nearly $200 for the trouble of keeping me and my family up very late and having to get an alternative hotel and NOT PROVIDING US WITH A ROOM! I called the front desk to have them reverse the charge but I didnt get that far, I called and asked to speak with the manager on duty and they hung up on me.
I’ve been here almost a month. Mrs Shirley cooks a wonderful breakfast every morning the food is always hot and fresh! This is the second review I’m leaving because over the last couple of weeks I’ve gotten to know the staff well and they’re all so kind and sweet. I really want to say though Samantha and Olivia at the front desk have been so good to me. All the staff has and I can’t say enough about how good they are at what they do! It’s the cleanest most well run hotel in Bainbridge and I appreciate all their kindness.
Actually did not stay back in late June. I had made a reservation for 3 rooms for my family who was traveling to Florida for one night. I had a confirmation number. I called on Monday of the week we were traveling to confirm again, got to the hotel late afternoon on a Friday after being on the road for nearly 8 hours to be told they had overbooked and had two but not three rooms. We went on to stay at a very sketchy hotel down the street. I was promised not to be penalized or charged for anything due to their own mistakes. I just got my credit card bill to find I was charged $131.11 for a room we never used. Clearing this up with the manager is going horribly since she seems to be gone a lot. Terrible overall experience. Be cautious if booking a room here.
Worst hotel I’ve ever worked with. The manager, Lashondra, doesn’t care about the hotel’s conditions. The doors have issues locking and the place is overall disgusting. The staff doesn’t care about anything and have given away rooms I reserved in advance… I’d rather sleep in my car then deal with this Hampton Inn. It is truly an embarrassment to Hilton.
Booked a room prior to arrival....got there just before midnite....was told there were no rooms...she actually woke a guest who said it was her 2nd interruption before she found us a room....key to room didnt work...finally entered room at 1:30...curtains torn so you couldnt close them and ice machine off...not visiting again.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Room was clean and functional for the most part. Shower and sink need some work. Sink was slow to drain. Shower had some mildew/mold and the shower floor was dingy--not dirty, just grey from age. It was still a good experience but not perfect.
This place is terrible. Spiders in the room. Trash on the floor. Weird smell in the room. Black substance surrounding the shared door between rooms that could possibly be mold. Hardware falling out of the main room door and a liquid oozing down the back. I wont be going back.
Only one working ice machine. This pile of trash was on the third floor when we arrived @6:30 pm and was still there at 9:30 am.the shower in our room had a lot of mildew in the grout and around the door frame. They cooked the break fast at 330 am. We know this because their kitchen oven is not vented ( not legal) and it filled the whole hotel with a thick blue bacon smoke. We had a hard time breathing. Even in our room.
Where is I began! I have always stayed at the Hampton inn but This place is a wreck. The rooms are not cleaned properly. They Never have any seals on the rooms. Never have any towels or wash rags in the rooms. the most Disgusting thing in this hotel is the roaches. But let not forget how rude and unprofessional the staff are. housekeeping gets mad if you ask them for anything. Front desk is a little slow with check in. Some of the employees seem to be more then just coworkers around this place absolutely the worst hotel I have ever been to In my entire life
The customer service was great and the staff are friendly and professional in theperformance of their duties. The room was below my expectations due to the visible damage on the walls, ceiling, floors and in the bathroom. The patch work is of extreme poor quality. Extremely disappointed because of the daily rate for our three days stay. 😤
Sept.30 we booked a handicap room. None were available when we arrived. No handicap toilet area nor handicap shower available in the only choice we had. The sraff offered apologies and bought a rubberized bath mat. This did prevent my husband from falling. To top this off, the coffee area was not clean and the coverlet was stained. I would advise calling and confirming your room and hope you do not get lied to.
Walking in to this hotel I was very excited since it looked sleek and new. Everything lived up to that expectation until I got to my bathroom, which was not nearly as pristene as the rest of the hotel. The floor of the shower seemed a little dirty and there was a crack in the shower wall, both things I wouldnt have expected from a place so new. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the fitness center was well equipped.
Every aspect of this hotel was to my liking. Also, as a Chevy Volt driver, I really appreciated that every light pole in the parking lot had an electrical outlet. Bravo! I used the fitness room, very nice. The breakfast was standard but very welcome. The room was clean and quiet. The coin laundry was a lifesaver, too.
I have no complaints. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The young lady at the front desk who checked me in was very nice, professional and accomodating. The manager who was on duty (Aaron Smith) had a great sense of humor and was very warm and inviting. Thanks Hampton Inn Bainbridge for providing me with a great experience. I will definitely be back to stay again.
This hotel does not keep up the standards of Hampton Inn. The hotel is in need of repairs. I was most disappointed that three of the four workers in my group could not get into their rooms everyday because the electronic locks have failed. Some staff at the front desk were not well trained.
Kind of disappointed in a Hilton property. The next morning we started packing up and getting ready to leave when there was a knock on the door.....we opened the door and the housekeeper asked if were staying over? and my sister asked if she saw the Do Not Disturb hanging on the door? (and our parents are hard of hearing and the tv was up a little louder than most people have it). The housekeeper replied that most people leave the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and the tv turned up when they checkout. My sister asked if 11 am was still check out time? And she said yes. Sister told her thats when you can knock on the doors. It was only 10:30 am. 😥
I was extremely pleased with my stay. This is a newer motel so the rooms were up to date and spacious. The property was kept immaculate and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was an added bonus as it contained a variety of options: fruit, eggs, waffles, bagels, biscuits, potatoes, etc. It wasnt your typical continental breakfast with just doughnuts and juice.
Room was renovated and comfortable except for the shower stall (in need of TLC). Asked for a bottle of water and advised it’s available next to the front desk - I quickly remembered where I was staying so no biggie. Staff was overall friendly. Reasonable options available at breakfast. It’s a sold 3-star.
I showed up at 5pm and had to wait 15 minutes before my room was ready. I asked to use the bathroom while I waited and it was a disgusting mess (Ill spare the details). Wifi wasnt working in lobby or for my room for an hour or so. My bathroom in my room wasnt clean. Lots of issues it seems for a relatively new hotel!
I called on August 6th at 657pm to inquire about getting a king and double queen room that connected. I gave the lady my information as she was going to make the reservation but couldnt figure out how to do a conjoing room. She said a manager would call me back that never happened. The reservation that I was charged for was put in at 11 pm. I called back on August 11 finally got to talk to a manager but I never booked anything. I never got an email confirmation for the reservation in August. The only email I got was September 25th that went to my spam email so I never realized there was a reservation in order to cancel. Nor did I get an email receipt of this room until I called on October 4th when I noticed the charge. I talked to the manager today October 7th however she was not helpful in getting this refunded. I have my phone log to prove I called at 657pm and not 11 pm also my email history to show a confirmation email was never received. I didnt stay at this hotel and was unaware this reservation was in the system so I feel I deserve to be refunded. Beware when making a reservation with them because they are not about trying to help customers when something goes wrong and it was on their end.
Best hotel in Bainbridge. Stayed here several times. Very nice fitness center. Rooms are always clean. Bathrooms in the guest rooms have those weird barn doors that roll on a track to open and close. They have a tendency to suddenly slide/roll open and it seems that they are never really closed. On one stay we had a problem with keys. They reprogrammed/replaced our key cards several times, none of them worked. They called a technician who fixed it before the night was through. Staff was so accommodating through the entire ordeal. I have stayed at several hotels in the area, but this one will always be my first choice when Im in town.
Oh I love the hotel!!!!! nice staff except for the male night person he is a little creepy and stinks. The only complaint I would have is at this point the hotel has been taken over by rude group of African Americans that feel they have a sense of entitlement. Up early with there kids running and screaming while other people are still trying to relax. Have taken the pool over. All outdoor seating areas are full. I feel like the staff should say something about the noise! I have no problem with African Americans its just this current group.
This was my first time visiting Bainbridge and the only Hilton hotel in town is this Hampton Inn. This hotel seems fairly new. The lobby was very clean and modern. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel staff was very helpful with suggesting places to eat. My only complaint with this stay is that the shower drain was very slow and allowed the water to back up. Not ideal. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would visit this hotel again.
Everything was pretty good here, except that they just needed to vacuum. Our room clearly needed vacuuming not just along the edges, but some throughout the room. Otherwise, the room was in good shape, the shower was a bit low-pressure, internet was average, breakfast was pretty good, and the staff was friendly.
The staff was very pleasant and the room was nice. However, I left a bracelet in my room. After the calling the hotel and providing my address, they said they would return my bracelet through the mail. Instead of sending it in an insulated envelope with a tracking number, considering that it contained an expensive piece of jewelry, I was mailed a paper thin envelope which arrived empty. The envelope had gotten damp and my bracelet had came out of it. I was very disappointed and I would have expected a little more from a Hampton Inn.
Likes:The location is in the somewhat timbered area of the commercial zones… its right next to Tractor Supply and in front of a subdivision.Dislikes:No digital key.The rooms are generally dirty and the feel of the floor (carpet and laminate) is a nasty feel whether you are wearing your socks or flaps.2 of the 3 occasions I’ve stayed here I have pulled my sheets back and found pubic hair, *body fluids, and filth on the sheets. The only reason I stay here is because it is supposed to be a Hilton property but most definitely does not live-up to the Hilton name.Bathroom - The bathroom door does not have a lock on it and my gosh why isnt there a door in place that will at least stay on the hinges...Customer Service – I have never been greeted with a warm welcome but more of a “why are you here” feel. I have had to wait in a two person line at the front desk for 2 hours just to check in and I had a reservation. The sad part about this more so than anything is the fact that this is probably the #2 hotel in Bainbridge.
I went for a wedding rehearsal dinner. The conference room that we use for the dinner was real nice and clean. I did not see any hotel staff while we were there. We came in the front door and went back to the reception. But never saw staff. There was a restroom outside in the hallway which was out of toilet paper. I went down to a relatives room that was staying to use the restroom. What I saw of the room was nice and look real clean.
The hotel is far from clean. Even with covid going on and special stickers everywhere stating that its clean the toe nails on the bathroom floor, black floors in the showers , and overflowing trash cans confirm that its not being cleaned properly. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was average hotel breakfast.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the manager David and employee Quyia. We had booked a room for 1 night October 11th. We arrived around 3pm, checked in and left to get to our engagement. About 2 hours later we had an emergency that required us to leave and travel back home about 6 hours away. I drove back to the hotel and asked the employee Quyia if we could receive a full or partial refund since we would not be staying. She told me, I will take care of it. I asked if I would see a credit on my statement, she answered, yes, you will see credit on your statement. I handed her my room keys, thanked her for her help, and left. I waited until today, 10/16 to call and inquire about the refund. After speaking with manager, David, he advised me that Quyia misspoke, and I would not be getting any type of refund as that is not their policy. Apparently, the room that I reserved was booked under an advance 72 hour cancellation, and since I well past the 72 hour cancellation period I would have to pay for the one night. I am very disappointed that I am out $142 for an employees misquote. If we are ever in the area again I believe we will stick with Air bnb or VRBO instead of hotels. David, I would suggest you as the manager train your employees better.
A very nice oasis of a hotel in a vast rural Georgia plain. The staff are all very friendly, attentive, and helpful. Decently sized rooms, generally quiet, with a fair bit of light pollution from the lights in the parking lot, but that’s nothing pulling the shade can’t fix. Fast internet (if you splurge for the $4.99 upgrade) and a good selection of channels. Easy access to nearby amenities.
Loved this place!!...my family and I were in town for a funeral and stayed here...This will be our go to hotel whenever were in the area. The breakfast cook that was on that Sunday, 9/2, I think her name was Katurah, is EXCELLENT!!... Please let her make the breakfast from now on...the breakfast by the other cook on Saturday morning, was so hard and salty (especially the potatoes), it was hard to enjoy it. But wed still choose this hotel for our traveling needs in the future...loved it!
Love it.. Newer hotel but I have to give it 4🌟🌟🌟🌟due to the fact that we had 2 rooms on the same floor and on the opposite sides of the hall 311 and 316. We never able to get hot water in 311 which was a Accessible Room the most important person my Boss was unable to shower.
Driving back from Atlanta to Florida our car broke down in Bainbridge and my wife and I stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn and slept well on their comfortable bed. All staff were courteous and concerned and Mrs. Willis who runs the breakfast area drove us the next day to the Dodge dealer where it was being repaired and was helpful in talking to people who knew her and explaining our predicament. The car was which needed a new alternator was repaired earlier than we expected. She even packed us a snack for the trip home to Tallahassee. We felt at home at the Hampton and recommend his place to everyone.
Hampton Inn was very clean. The staff was so nice. They make all there guest feel like royalty. The breakfast was awsome. The rooms were so nice. They have phone charging stations throughout the entire room. The wifi was free and fast. If you left something behind at home they already thought about it for you. Hampton Inn is a Friendly, and Worry free Hotel. I wish I could have took the bed with me. It was so comfortable.. :) ☺️☺️
Rooms are very clean, staff is very polite, and my family said breakfast was good was on third floor where seem to have been some water damage in our room because the ceiling was peeling wasnt fixed properly and for the price of the room that shouldnt have been but everything else was great
Nice hotel.... but the staff really needs to communicate better when it comes to the final bill. We called ahead to confirm our 6 rooms because we were arriving just before 2:00a from Atlanta. The young lady that answered the phone stated it was a good thing we called because they would have released our rooms at midnight. She also stated we wouldnt be charged for 1 day because we arrived so late. However, at checkout the Manager Lashonda agreed to only charge us for a half day.... which was ok as well. She made all of the adjustments and gave us all an adjusted print-out of the final bill. Later... we realized we were all charged full price for both days. This was also not a problem, its just extremely unprofessional to offer customers an adjustment just to find out it wasnt approved by the General Manager.
Great customer service. I made a special request for my husbands birthday who was staying at this hotel during a work trip and Ms. Johnson and her staff went above and beyond to honor my request. I am very pleased to see that they could do something special for him in my absence. I really recommend this hotel.
The hotel is nice, but I paid for high speed access in my rate and then paid for it again if I wamted to use it. They ran out of robust coffee at breakfast, and didnt offer me water when I came in. Finally very limited places to grab a bite. There is very little else around it.
Great, helpful desk clerk; what a great experience after 5 hrs of driving BUT in my room I found food in the fridge, spots around the toilet, which means the floor wasnt mopped, the sink is not draining freely, there was toothpaste and soap on the faucet and this is during COVID-19 precaustions!! Wow They do offer toiletries if you forgot to pack something.
THIS WAS A BAD STAY!!!NO TOWELS FOR TWO DAYS, NO BREAKFAST EXCEPT FOR A SAUSAGE AND BISCUIT, CEREAL AND COLD COFFEE.ROOM WAS NOT CLEANED BECAUSE YOU HAD TO REQUEST IT WHEN YOU CHECKED IN, BU THEY FILED TO TELL US. NO MANGER ON DUTY ON A FOURTH OF JULY WEEKEND. WE WERE TOLD A MANAGER WOULD MOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL TUESDAY JULY 6th.

2022-05-29After reading the reviews, I was a little nervous about my stay. BUT this was a GREAT stay. The staff was exceptional! Everyone was welcoming, friendly and made me feel valued at a Hilton Honors member. They have recently undergone renovations, so the lobby, breakfast area, and room were all modern and beautifully decorated. Only two very minor issues with the room [1] light above bathroom mirror didnt work: [2] sliding door to bathroom/ closet was a little dirty. Nothing major enough to remove a star. Great options for breakfast, including the famous Belgian waffle! I would stay again if in the area.

2022-06-10Very clean and comfortable. I will stay here again the manager Sandy went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. She took her time talking with us and didnt act like she was in a rush to run away like most managers we meet traveling. My wife and I spend most of the year traveling in and out motels and a great staff is definitely not to be overlooked. They have the waffle maker at breakfast, thats always a huge plus!

2022-03-26We’ve stayed here a few times in the past and the new GM Sandra was very accommodating and really went the extra mile to make sure our stay was pleasant. Also, Cynthia the front desk associate was just as accommodating and friendly as the GM. Our room was very clean and well maintained except there was some ware and tear in the shower area. We would stay here again😄

2022-04-25My family and I have stayed here several times over the past few years.( I am an honors member) Because of having a big family I have to rent two rooms to accommodate us. I rented 2, but since we got in late the kids could not swim. Instead of checking out I asked the manager if we could down size to one room to be able to enjoy the pool for the day she agreed and we done so. After agreeing that we would not all be spending the night because of fire Marshall codes. Let me remind you pool hours end at 10 pm. So the day passes we got out of the pool and enjoyed eating dinner at Laredo’s grill. We came back to pack up. I am 7 1/2 months pregnant and was assaulted right outside the door were the pool entrance was. I contacted law enforcement. The blonde lady at the desk who I believe is the manager was more concerned about the fact that corporate was there and she didn’t need all of the attention than me and my baby’s wellbeing. Also they had no views on their cameras of the assault which is scary to know. And by 10:24 I was banned from this establishment for which reason I still do not know.

2022-01-23Stayed for a week and room never was done, towels never changed, we asked front desk to have our room cleaned but I never happened, the breakfast was terrible, overall would not stay again at this hotel is just a shabby place. They told us wee were going to get a discount still waiting.

2022-04-10Sandy, the manager, and her team took great care of us. She made sure our rooms were nice and we knew all the good places to eat and visit. She treated us like family. We will be back.

2022-04-25After over booking the hotel called to inform me that the room reservation was not available. This was on 4/14/22. Since I travel for work I stayed in a great Hilton in Tallahassee despite the hour drive back and forth. I stay in hotels for work Monday through Thursday weekly. While doing my bi weekly accounting I find today that the hotel charged me almost 150.00 dollars for a reservation that they canceled. After calling the hotel I was told they are aware and Ill have to call the manager on Monday morning. Im not blaming the girl at the front desk however its extremely shady to not just reverse the charge and instead wait to see if I would catch it and having to call the manager to get it taken care of. Be careful using this hotel and pay attention to your charges if you decide to stay here.

2022-03-29Husband and I stayed here while passing through to get home as we often do. The room was not as clean as most Hilton rooms are-shower was cracked and the room door looked like it was kicked in. The breakfast room was not clean or regularly replenished like I am used to. Maybe that is because of post-pandemic standards, not sure. The front desk was very friendly and I am not a complainer but the woman that introduced herself as the manager was fishing for compliments and encouraging us and others to leave a review of a positive nature but I noticed how she interacted with lower level staff. Had the room been clean and the environment more professional, I would have been happy to share a positive experience. I am leaving an honest review like she requested and encouraging the manager to focus more on the cleanliness and good repair of her hotel instead of walking around yelling at her staff members. Perhaps our next stay will be more positive and miss Cassandra (?) will yell behind closed doors. I felt terrible for the staff. It was obvious that the manager wasnt sure about what she should be doing but had high expectations of the employees------------well try again next time.

2021-12-28We stay here about once or twice a year to visit family and its normally pretty nice. This past visit (December 2021), the room was not as clean as it normally is. There was some trash left behind, the provided lotion and other useful items were not replaced. It wasnt horrible but little details like that tend to sway my decision of staying again or not.

2022-04-11Has a pool. The room was clean, smelled like disinfectant which I love. The free breakfast was really good. Lots of options and everything was fresh
