Of course I would be at the Grand Opening of one of my favorite stores when it hit Augusta. I tried to make it when the opened at noon but got tied up, but I did make it eventually in the evening when I thought the crowd would have died down. I was wrong, it was still very busy and customers were still crowding in. There was a dj spinning good tunes in the front when you walked in. This store has 2 levels with the womens and girls merchandise on the upper level and the mens and boys merchandise on the lower level. There is also a small plus size section here too. I asked one employee where the section was and he showed me to it and informed me that they will eventually get more plus size clothing in later shipments. This is the only reason that I didnt give this store 5 stars. I browsed the jewelry section and found several pieces I liked and actually purchased. The price was very inexpensive for what you were actually getting. The checkout process was a little hectic, but there were 5 lines open and all the lines were full. I did find a line that was shorter and was checkout quickly. The staff was very pleasant and were easy to find with them wearing the same black H&M employee t-shirts. I did receive a postcard in the mail from them because I am an online customer of theirs. It was informing me that they would be opening in Augusta and it came with a small discount but I didnt actually get the postcard till after I got home because I didnt check the mail till after my trek to the mall. But its still cool though, Im not mad at all. Im so glad that we finally got one here because I really do like their merchandise and this is one more reason I will be coming to the mall!!!
I found myself getting trapped in parts of the store and it was a mess. They barely have any selection in the childrens section and none of the sizes I needed. They had 1 register open downstairs and 1 upstairs and both were slammed. This is exactly why stores are going out of business.
Im always able to find something for my daughters and myself! H&M has great clearance markdowns too.
The prices are great and the store does not feel cramped, like most retail stores. The selection is whats best, especially for childrens clothing. $5 girls summer dresses!

Not the store Im use to. Theres literally nothing I want here. Online store shows suit options but the physical store has none. Very disappointing

I love some H&M, oh i hear ya now hes a millenial...F yea i am buddy! lol but H&M provides FAST FASHION!. meaning what you select will never come back around again, what you see LV Gucci etc and those suburban brands do H&M copies so you can AFFORD IT!. I understand they have made mistakes socially but as a clothing store, they do stay up to trend. LASTLY, YOU CAN TRADE ANY OLD CLOTHES IN TO GET 15% OFF!!. no goodwill, or salvation a, yep turn in your own clothes and get a percentage off your exact next purchase. I wanna work there part time just to copy the early arrivals lol. H&M is worth the modern cent, SPEND YOURS!

I only shop here for the appeal, not the quality. Everything in the store is trendy and relevant, but it falls apart relatively quickly.
It was a pleasant experience and the associates where very nice and helped my boyfriend and I when we needed help finding a particular item.

2022-08-07My youngest son pick this retailer to do his back to school shopping. I was very impressed with the overall appearance of the store. All the tables were neatly folded. The four ways and rounders were straight and organized. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. Its very rare for you to find a neat and clean store during a back to school event. To top everything off the associate greeting us with a smile during checking out. Wow I really enjoyed my shopping experience there.

2021-08-01My wifes favorite store at the mall. They have fairly good selection and always decent pricing.*Update as of 01 Aug 21*My wife accidentally left her purse in the dressing room. The attendant not only saved the purse but was about to abandon her post leaving a line of customers waiting to find my wife. My wife had made it there before she could go too far. This person deserves recognition. Unfortunately, we didnt get her name but we greatly appreciate the extra mile. She deserves a raise.

2021-02-18I always find cheap stylish clothes here.. Hint: I mostly only buy clothes made from %100 cotton to avoid buying anything that might fall apart 😅 ... Also I never had any issues making returns since I follow the policy! The only downside is the fitting rooms are CLOSED due to COVID.. Advice: always know what you want before you enter to avoid asking for help and after you make a purchase go to the BATHROOM to try on you clothes 😉 !!

2021-02-04Rude associates!!! Inforcing illegal policies. refused sale due to masks that CAN NOT LEGALLY be mandated or informed. Obviously the company does not care about the sale at all. Oddly the African American customers were not asked to leave due to no masks. The associate seemed quite proud she asked the white ladies to leave. Clearly they just did not want our business.

2020-06-27I went in today to return two pair of pants I purchased online. The cashier initially told me that I would have to go see the manager because I was 3 days over on the return. She told me that it would not be an issue and she needed to override it. I went downstairs and waited for manager to arrived who then proceeded to tell me that she would not complete the return for me. I had to go back upstairs for an even exchange. Once I made it back upstairs, I found the woman who initially helped me who told she knew that I couldn’t return my pants. With Covid-19, I thought that it would’ve been able to be overwritten since it was only 3 days overdue. I was going to complete an exchange with the pants but I would’ve had to wait for manager to override again. Very poor customer service experience.
