I was recommended this shop by some fellow BMW owners, and I could not be more pleased with my experience! I’ve heard many great things about Harrison’s. I was so confident with their abilities that I drove 500 miles from Florida to get the work done from them specifically. Everyone is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I brought in my E92 M3 for a large amount of work that needed to be done. Such as rod bearings, coilovers, and much more. They had my car in and out within a week! If I could give them 6 stars I would. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
Good place to get your BMW/Mini service done outside of the dealership. The dealer had a hard time diagnosing a noise I had in my Mini Countryman and the tech here was able to find it in and give me a proper diagnosis in no time. I work in the car business and its hard to find a good honest shop to deal with, I have had several cars serviced here over the years and they are always willing to help.Still the same great place. Under new ownership and the new owners are as good as the original.
After being a loyal customer of a local dealership, I decided to give Harrison Motorsports a try with a repair and I can safely say that I will definitely be back. The level of professionalism and knowledge of BMWs is great and the service is absolutely fantastic. For anyone looking for a great independent BMW repair facility, I highly recommend Harrison Motorsports.
Took my e89 here for an issue with my hard top. They fixed it fairly quick at a reasonable price. The whole team is knowledgeable and cares about the results of their work. Im looking forward to having my car in good hands in the future and possibly getting some additional tuning done from them.I wouldnt trust my car with anyone else.
Y’all, these guys are the best in Atlanta! I’m a BMW freak who grew up in Greer, SC just a few miles from the plant that built every X5 I’ve owned. My Bimmers have been to other Indy mechanics and all 5 BMW dealers in Atlanta, so let me save you some time. I can tell you from experience that the Harrison Motorsports team cares about their customers and their Bimmers, too. Whether you need a Liqui Moly oil change or a custom mod/ tune to your track car, do your Bimmer a favor and take it to Harrison. They’ll give you an honest assessment, and a fair price.
Hands down the best BMW service in the state of georgia. I’ve taken both my M3’s (E46 & F80) here for the past couple years, and at this point, i refuse to take them anywhere else to get serviced. The owner & Head mechanic Sergio is a highly intelligent, BMW Certified Master Technician that races his BMWs competitively, so needless to say, he’s an extremely skilled worker. He is crystal clear in his diagnosis of any and all issues with the cars he services, and he even prints out an invoice with the problems listed in their hierarchy of importance. On top of all that, he’s a class act, even to rude customers; he’s the kind of guy that you’ll wave to if you see him in traffic. If your looking for BMW service, and you don’t take it to harrison motorsports, you’re gonna regret it in the long run, so just do yourself a favor and take it here. Oh and by the way, I’m in no way affiliated with their business affairs, im an actual customer. They’re seriously the best and i just wanted to affirm that.
Solid customer service. Zach made sure to follow up with me and kept me updated. Sergio, the owner, can be found in the shop working with his techs on your cars and that brings a lot of comfort to me when bringing in my M4.These guys are expert techs and can also advise you on the tuning side as well which is much appreciated.
The team at Harrison Motorsports has done work on my now three times, and are efficient, reliable and most importantly TRANSPARENT about their prices and stick by them and stick to timetables theyve promised you. They do not over promise and they are very respectful. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Always a great experience here. I mean EVERYBODY here is amazing. Great customer service, great communication, tons of knowledge. If i didnt do my own work, they would have my business for regular maintenance and everything else. I got my e38 tuned here and had to take it back bc she didnt like the MAF. Harrison is working with me to figure out exactly what the issue is and i think collaboratively, we have figured it out. After i order some new parts, well see if we are correct. Thanks guys!
Sergio, has taken care of my last couple of BMWs over several years now; not an easy task since both were track cars and needed more attention than a daily driver might. He has always been very fair and knowledgeable when it comes to diagnosis and charges. In fact, many times he would tell me not to spend money on what I thought might be a good upgrade and he would have a reason why. Will continue to take my current BMW to Sergio and his excellent staff for all my car needs.
Harrison Motorsports is - by far - the most trusted BMW shop that Ive come in contact with. David leads by example in demonstrating what it really means to deliver exceptional customer service.Ive never had any bad experience with them, including this Friday when I visited them because of a shaky steering wheel. David and team looked at the car and quickly figured out that it was my tires. He said to drive for a week after I get them replaced and come back if I still experienced the issue. The best part... he didnt charge me anything for that assessment! :-) While we may not be talking big dollars here, the most important thing for me is the integrity of this guy which he reflects very strongly in his business ethics. Hes got me as a loyal customer for life, and Id really encourage anyone whos looking for the BMW best shop to visit Harrison Motorsports!
Ive been taking my cars (two different e38s) to Harrison for over 10 years. They have always been thorough in diagnosing any issue, diligent to resolve it, and fair. Techs are topnotch and the staff has always been friendly, helpful and just a kool bunch. Recently they went above and beyond to replace an accessory that had been MIA from a custom install they did 4 years ago. Deeply appreciate, David, Sergio & Steve and the whole crew there. Youve got a customer for life. Kahlil
Great service all around. Took the time to accurately diagnose the problem, and then replace only the damaged parts. A cost effective fix, and now the car is working great. Staff was excellent at communicating the diagnosis, status, and steps taken to complete the repair. Highly recommend this shop.
Sergio is very talented and a meticulous technician. He installed a ESS supercharger on my E92 M3 approximately one year ago. Also got Ohlins coilovers and a full cooling system upgrade as well as rod bearing replacement. Car has run great and Sergio’s been very helpful and nice work with.
Highly experienced staff. I had an engine vibration issue with my M3 that other shops both in the Atlanta and DC area had trouble diagnosing. Harrison Motorsports spent the time and effort to diagnose the issue (something that cannot be said of many shops), and fix it. They also work on quite a bit of high end vintage BMW cars (and some famous racecars). Would highly recommend them for any BMW need!
Harrison Motorsports blew me away with customer service and price. I recently flew in from out of state to buy a car. Although I had a pre-purchase inspected from another shop, a BMW Car Club of America member suggested I take it Harrison Motorsports before driving back home. David Harrison personally looked over the car and had one of his techs, Todd, double check a few items. They gave me a list of items to watch on the car, but didn’t pressure me into any repairs. When I asked how much I owed them, they told me not to worry about it and to be safe. Before leaving town I decided to bring the car back to Harrison for the suggested repairs. The technician even took the time to show me the warn parts he removed. The entire process was extremely smooth. I only wish there was a BMW shop this good back home.
Fair and honest shop that is run and staffed by car enthusiasts. What sets Harrison Motorsports apart is the desire to build a relationship for life with their customers. The are not looking to make a quick buck. They understand the value of repeat business. I have taken my car there many times and have consistently gotten treated in a transparent, fair, and friendly manner. Sergio and his team make sure each car gets the time it needs. Unlike some of the other shops popping up all over the place, HMS is a staple that has been around for a long time. I highly recommend HMS.
They replaced the timing chain on my car. Very honest and way cheaper than the dealer, but just as good if not better work. They also have a really nice shop, with video games!! It’s a little piece of heaven for bmw fanatics Iike myself.**updateI needed a new wastegate actuator, I started my search with Harrison. They were able to get the part the same day, within hours, also way cheaper than a dealer would have charged!
I greatly appreciate Harrison Motorsports. I love my 335is and its important to me that skilled technicians passionate about performance cars maintain my vehicle. I trust them to do the job right and get my car ready for my daily commute and the occasional track day at Road Atlanta. I will continue to highly recommend Harrison Motorsports to my friends.
I brought my 2008 BMW M3 to Harrison Motorsports and they performed a rod bearing replacement on my precious BMW M3 with surgical precision. This most in-depth repair was recommended by David Harrison and I trusted to Harrison Motorsports. After seeing the old rod bearings from my BMW M3, the engine was destined to suffer catastrophic failure very soon had David not recommended we do this repair as preventative maintenance. Their knowledge of BMWs is vast and insurmountable. Harrison Motorsports is my one stop service shop for my BMW!
Always have had great service at Harrison’s. Have been a customer 15+ years and they have kept me going with multiple vehicles serviced. Very friendly and knowledgeable and extremely technically competent in their work. New owners are a pleasure to deal with, as was the previous.
Harrison Motorsports is the only honest mechanic I have found. I love being able to take my car somewhere and have them tell me what needs to be done, what to watch for but NEVER be pressured into repairs that are not needed.I was referred to them by two friends and I have never heard anyone say anything negative about an experience with them. My car will not be in any other shop but theirs.
I have been taking my car to David and the team for approx. 5 years now, I love the personal customer service. They always go the extra mile, including picking me up and dropping me off at work on service days. They keep my older BMW running great. It is wonderful to have a mechanic that I trust and that provides excellent, convenient service.
These folks are really fantastic. Recently, my E46 blew a clutch slave cylinder. I was away from home and stranded. Found Harrison Motorsports here on Google and given the great reviews and proximity to my location, I figured Id take a chance with them. Had the car towed there and left the key in the dropbox and called the next morning. By lunch theyd fixed the clutch for less than $300! I was so surprised at the price (Ive never been to the shop for less than $1K) I asked for a quote on my motor mounts and a brake system flush/bleed. The price on the motor mounts was WAY less than the estimate I got from my other shop. Paid over the phone and picked up the car that night...excellent work! I will definitely be back next time I have a job I cant (or would rather not) do myself. Thanks!!
My name is Mark and I own a 1988 e28 M5. I love this car and enjoy working on this rare car. I have tried using many Bmw shops around the Atlanta area to help when I am at a loss. Most of these shops really dont have the knowledge to work on this car, or do sub par work at inflated prices. But not Harrison Motorsporrts. These guys are really passionate and knowledgeable about BMW. David Harrison is such a wonderful owner and always has the time to give me advice about my rare car. If you want it done right at a fair price, go see Harrison Motorsports
Sergio and his wife are two of the nicest people in the BMW enthusiast scene. Sergios knowledge is A+ 5 stars. I would definitely agree with the others on here saying that this shop is minimalist in that they wont throw parts at your car. David, the former owner was like that as well. I should have listened to him, lol. Im still working on the track list for my 07 Z4M coupe that Sergio helped me put together. Thanks again for that bud.
I purchased their splitter for me e36 m3 race car and their support in helping me install it was phenomenal. I called and spoke directly to David Harrison (owner) and he was very helpful as well as Cherie via email. Additionally, the quality of the product is top-notch and the fitment on the car is perfect without any need for modifications to the splitter. Im excited to try it on the track on a few weeks.
Competitive pricing, fast shipping, and excellent product support both in the shop and over the phone. Im lucky to live close enough to visit their shop for service, but Id definitely buy from them online even if I didnt. David and the team are a top notch resource for any BMW owner/enthusiast. A+
Harrison Motorports is a great local shop that is family run. David Harrison is THE GO TO GUY about all things German car related. HIs knowledge of vintage/new BMWs and mini coopers is the best around. Their service is timely and friendly mixed with integrity. If you are interested in putting a little extra power under the hood or get into the performance driving hobby, this is also the place to go.
Excellent knowledge of the service they provide. Advice given to me was in my best interest as the customer and not in the best short term profit interest of the company. Harrison Motorsports is interested in long term relationships with their clients. Very trustworthy.
We brought our 2010 MINI Clubman JCW here for front brakes and then the back brakes and a new clutch and flywheel. As another poster here stated, this is the only honest car repair place I know of. My wife and I are very relieved to know we can trust David and his crew for a fair price and excellent work. My car is driving better than ever. Thanks guys. Be sure to meet Zoey the bulldog if shes there. Shes adorable.Update: the new owners are keeping this the best place to get your Mini or BMW fixed.
Ive been taking cars to David & team for years now, even though its a 45 minute drive and I pass probably a dozen BMW shops and a couple dealers along the way. Always great work, exceptional advice when it comes to routine and preventative maintenance, and very reasonable pricing.
Harrison is one of the better independent shops in the metro Atlanta area, especially if youre a DIYer like me and just want to purchase some aftermarket parts that you know arent cheap knockoffs. David Harrison is always knowledgeable and ready to help and so is his crew. Ive been doing business with them for about a year now and have had nothing but good things to say about them.
Dreams come true here!!!First David, and now Sergy (Sergio Ramirez) & Angies duo, knows how to conduct business and keep their customers happy. One can trust the duo for any minor (say, oil change) or a major (engine/ trxm overhaul) service... knowing theyre in good hands!Truly appreciate the honesty and dedication of HM folks and will continue to return here... be it Z4M or M5 ... or God knows what... !To the Ultimate Driving Machine and an Ultimate Service team - thanks for your service!
David and the staff there really took care of me earlier this year. I thought my e60 M5 was toast, but they did some research, made a few calls and got to the bottom of it. Harrison Motorsport came as a recommendation from a friend, and I can see now why he takes his various ///M cars there. This shop is well worth the drive up to Alpharetta for me.
Just completed a carbon build up cleaning in my 2010 335d. Excellent service! Fast work! Great price! I WILL be returning for all my service/modification needs! Drove there from Columbus/FT Benning area dont regret doing it. Drop off pick up system really helped me out!
I had been searching the Internet high and low for the best price on some Powerflex rear subframe bushings for my 335is. My usual go to places were out of stock but Harrisons popped up on a Google search. Not only did they have them but as a BMWCCA member I get a 10% discount making them cheaper than anyone else. Ill be coming back to shop again.
Went by here to purchase a helmet for auto racing and Sherry went way above and beyond in her explanations to me. She detailed out the different car clubs I could get and even advised me to look into track insurance to make sure a boo boo doesnt cost me my car.Seldom have I received this kind of high touch service.
Had my car a week and a half. Brought in for oil leaks and climate issues. Gouged me on gaskets. Climate issue was a blown fuse. Chick behind counter was rude and arrogant. Started gasket work one week after having a week to disgnose a blown fuse, which I later found on my own after reading some blogs. Car smelled of paint upon picking up. When I went back to inform climate control was still amiss, owner said he had an appoint available on Friday, I bet!
Brought my 92 e30 in it on oct 2018 and they did absolutely no work..quoted me 5000 with 1200 deposit in jan 2019. The quote had things that have already been replaced like ac compressor and and a headgasket that has no miles on it because i changed it my self before i brought it in ..I trimmed the quote down to 1400 and the deposit was 500 i thought that is pretty high...but i paid it..against my better judgement because i could feel the racist mentality when i came into the shop to talk about the repairs to my car in nov 2018.i believe since they couldnt prey on an uninformed black car owner they chose to let my car sit for 2 months and when i called for an update on feb 13, 2019, they informed me that its best to come get my car and that they havent done any work
This Shop is the worst place to take car for maintenance first of all they are super expensive more then BMW dealership and try Up sell you thing u dont even need. They told me i need battery cus my voltage is lower then normal and my car never had any battery issues also they said is gonna need Ac compressor in 2 months even though AC works great. This guys just bunch of sales people they dont know much about BMWs..

2022-01-11The one and only place to take your BMW in GA. I had a nightmarish repair to do on my n55 that was made as easy as possible thanks to Sergio and his team. Im very picky when it comes to anyone touching my car other than myself and Harrison is a shop I fully trust with any repair needs. Excellent communication, customer service, and repair quality.

2022-04-01I live in GA six months out of the year and desired to put a custom exhaust system on my 2009 3 series BMW. The entire crew from John and Angelina up front to Sergio and Nick doing the job were excellent. John spent a lot of time explaining custom parts to upgrade and the result was what I expected. Great place to bring your BMW for maintenance and modifications!! Bob Gervasi

2022-05-28The team here is amazing. My supercharged e93 m3 was throwing codes, top was leaking, and ride was suffering. They quickly and accurately diagnosed all the issues, presented multiple options for the ride and tune, hunted down the leaks and did it all with transparency and detail that made me know it was honest and straightforward. Highly highly recommend! They know their stuff.

2021-05-28Harrison Motorsports has been my go to service provider for over 10 years & I cannot begin to state how thankful I am for them! They are professional, honest, reliable and friendly. 2020-06-04Bought a high mileage e39 m5. I needed a post purchase inspection done.I took my car to another shop just a few days before (their focus was on suspension) however I asked for them to tell me if they saw anything wrong with the car which came back clean.I knew that was off because there were a few places I knew had issues. All these areas were addressed by Sergio, plus many more that I did not expect a shop to bring up. He even hand washed my car afterwards.I loved the approach of identifying problem areas and then marking them down by priority. Will be returning for my BMW needs

2020-07-22I got my M4 tuned (Stage 2) with Sergio and his team. The results were exceptional. It is perfectly done and clearly by a professional. His prices are more than fair, considering the work they deliver. He actually did such a good job that my best friend just decided to get an m3 instead of a c63 amg just to take it to Harrison and get it tuned by Sergio and the team. They are all easy to work with and his wife handles all the admin stuff. She is a gem and provides an awesome front end experience. I would give them 6/5 stars if it let me.I am returning in a few months to add more stuff to my car, with full confidence. Thanks guys.Also...funny story, BMW gave me a faulty spare key and sergio was trying to fix it and told me it was for sure faulty. I took it to BMW and told them a master tech said it was faulty. They laughed and cracked jokes about how wrong he was. Surely after they spent 20 more minutes then him, they came back with the same conclusion. Conclusion: These guys do honest work. Take your car there. Dont ask any questions.

2021-03-19Harrison Motorsports is a top-notch independent BMW/Mini shop. Over the last 10 years, they’ve done great work on my BMW 335i & my BMW X5. I’ve never had a single issue with a repair or maintenance service. They are less expensive than BMW dealers, yet offer better customer service. The staff knows BMW cars thoroughly, including all maintenance & repair needs, and are knowledgeable of OEM and aftermarket options, including customization options for your car. By comparison, most dealer staff are hard to reach by phone, are slow to provide cost estimates & rarely understand the details of repairs, always have to “talk to the tech” and get back to you, etc. Highly recommended!!!

2021-12-15Harrison Motorsports has been my “go to” center for the past 6-7 years. As an enthusiast, the attention to detail, honest advice and simply flawless work product … simply can’t be beat. Many times I’ve received alternate suggestions and ways to keep my vehicles in top shape over an extended life span. For honest advice and great work at a great price and a warranty on their work .. I choose Harrison all the time for my M57 and S65. Sergio and his team are knowledgeable and truly have their customers best interest in mind …

2022-01-04Best BMW service around! Harrison Motorsports beats other shops and the dealership for BMW maintenance and repair. For 9 years, I have only had exceptional, honest service. Thanks for being the hometown BMW place!
