Angela helped me when I went in last week, and was very helpful. I wanted to see a couch in different colors and she searched all over the store for the fabric to show me (which ultimately they didn’t have). She took time to show me different colors on her computer and lent me her tape measure so I could check whether the pieces would fit in my living room. She informed me of the current promotion and made sure I knew when it was ending.When I returned to the store a few days later, JJ recognized me, as Angela was helping other customers. She offered to write up my order for Angela, and when I told her I was looking for a few more items, she told me to let her know if I needed any additional help.Walker came to let me know about the clearance items in back when he discovered that I was looking for table lamps. He even showed me some items that had just arrived and hadn’t yet made it onto the floor.Angela helped me get the order for my furniture in, and explained in detail the warranty program. She and Walker helped me get the two lamps I purchased there to my vehicle.Everyone was VERY kind, professional and helpful. I was extremely pleased with my experience.

I am pleased to share my recent experience with the Haverty’s, Augusta, Georgia store. I visited the store twice during the process of making my purchase decision. I was greeted each time by friendly sales personnel. They were helpful when I had questions without making me feel pressured. My salesperson, Kyle Stafford, made the final purchase and delivery set-up details quick and painless. I purchased the Ava power recliner sofa and the Ava accent chair with standard upholstery. I was fortunate that these items were in stock. I placed my order on a Tuesday and they were delivered that Thursday. The quick delivery was wonderful but not expected. Although I didn’t get their names, I would also like to compliment the two delivery men as well. They arrived on time and were friendly and professional. They placed the furniture where I asked and made sure that they were working properly before leaving. I should add, that I love my new sofa and chair!
We only came in to look around and ending up purchasing a whole bedroom suit. The store was beautiful, the staff was super friendly, and our Sale Associate Kyle was so fun to work with. He was very personable, and had a great sense of humor which made this whole process so much fun. We will definitely be back to buy from him again!
Kyle was super nice and very helpful!! The guy who helped us load up the item was also great! We went all over town looking for the right TV stand. We googled and found Haverty’s. We were not in there long at all. The shortest time in all the furniture stores and we got the BEST customer service AND found a TV stand we fell in love with! The quality and price was VERY good! I have had a great pleasure shopping at this store. They helped with the process of furnishing my entire home with great customer service. The general manager Walker Carroll, amazing guy helped with getting me a new mattress after many weeks of delay due to issues relating to COVID. I would recommend anyone in the market for furniture and would like a welcoming and no pressure shopping experience to come here.
We bought furniture here today. The store was very pleasant with a good selection of nice furniture and excellent music. We worked with an excellent designer/ sales person, Dee, and the experience was wonderful. She was knowledgeable, kind, very very helpful. I definitely recommend this store.
JJ was awesome!! She introduced herself as we entered the store and offered assistance if we needed it. She then let us browse the store uninterrupted. When we made our selection we had a few questions about fabrics, order time, and delivery. She previewed our order with us showing us on her monitor our color choice in a larger format so that we could be sure of our choices. Once we were satisfied she then walked us through the purchase. We were extremely satisfied with our experience.
My husband and I were looking for a sectional and found the perfect one for our new home. When we arrived JJ greeted us with kindness and gave us time to look around the store and answered any questions we had. She was very kind to a patient. And even showed us the $15 where we got some pillows and a couple of throws. JJ is definitely on top of her game and I would recommend her expertise to anyone. The General Manager walker was there to assist with the sale and gave us the best deal possible. We asked about several items around the store and Walker, answered any questions we had. He even pulled a rug from the back for us. And I was very impressed cause normally the management is sometimes hidden in the back away from customers, be he was right there. So and last but not least the store was so clean not a speck of dust to be found and the restroom was clean from top to bottom. If you are looking for good service and friendly faces. This is the best place to go and JJ and Walker will have you right 😇 And tell them Tony sent ya 😉
Lance was awesome. He walked us through multiple options, gave us a few different points of view to consider that ultimately helped us make a great decision on our daughters room. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. He followed up with information in a timely manner, that also earned our business.
Jeff was not a pushy salesman which is a good thing. We would have walked if he had been pushy. He let us walk around for 20 minutes and browse after saying a quick hello. He helped us move pieces around for matching purposes and related with us on a personal level, not just someone trying to make a sale. He was knowledgeable on the furniture items and answered every question that we had which shows he knows his product..
I placed an online order 6 weeks ago (August 23rd) and was directed by Havertys customer service to call my local store to set up a delivery date. I called the store 2 weeks ago and a nice woman answered and told me to call back the first week of October because our sectional would arrive then and they could ship it to our house along with the king bed and nightstands we ordered. This week I called because it said that our sectional had yet to be scheduled for delivery. The woman that answered the phone this time was so rude, unprofessional, and I have never gotten customer service like that after spending thousands of dollars.She said I would have to just keep calling back in order to schedule my delivery, they arent going to email or call me when it arrives. I told her in that case I guess Ill have to call every day until it arrives - she scoffed and said okay. Then she told me that the earliest I could schedule my delivery was November 7th, which doesnt make any sense because if the sectional is arriving next week then why would it not be delivered to my house with the bed/nightstands on the 24th?Waiting over 10 weeks for a sectional that I couldve bought elsewhere is a little ridiculous but I wouldnt have minded the extra wait if the woman on the phone would not have been as rude. Im honestly sad because this is my husband and Is first house and our first time buying furniture. Now were living here without a couch for 10 weeks feeling like we have no one to reach out to at the local store for customer service without being dismissed unnecessarily just for asking for delivery updates. I just want our furniture.UPDATE 10/6/2020: Walker, the manager, reached out to me to rectify the experience and he was very nice. Our furniture still wont be here until November 7th but at least he is giving me updates. Husband is still pretty upset and itll be hard to buy from Havertys in the future - which is a bummer because we were going to buy the matching ottoman. Just be aware that shipping right now is taking a full 10-12 weeks!
Purchase at the store was easy and pleasureable. The only negatives I had were with delivery and call-in customer service - though both were remedied by Mr. Walker Carroll and his prompt actions. No gimicks and true to his word. He is an asset to Havertys and someone I will do business with in the future.
Julanka JJ Jones, was amazing to work with. Not pushy, very helpful, and had a great sense of humor. I drove all the way from Lexington, SC to go to her store and deal with her as I had an amazing experience. Not only did she help my wife and I find the right stuff for our home, my Dad was able to find the couch he needed for his home as well. Thank you again!
Updated review: Our furniture is still not here after being told February 10th initially at time of purchase and then February 15-20th by the manager himself after I called twice to check up on our order. I had to cancel our recliner because we had to buy something elsewhere due to not being able to wait. No one seemed to care that they just lost out on a big ticket item. Communication from our salesman LJ hasn’t been there at all regarding the delay. No emails or phone calls were received. Very unpleasant experience.Original Post: LJ was a great salesman! He was patient and able to answer all questions with a knowledgeable answer. He definitely didn’t pressure us and he checked on other customers, leaving us to discuss privately. Husband and I purchased the ‘Wrangler’ leather reclining sofa and recliner. I can’t speak for quality yet (haven’t received-product on back order). The couch and recliner were both very comfortable in store though. I can’t wait to receive!
Washington Rd in Augusta GA. Great experience. The salesman, Lance Kennedy, was very knowledgeable about all the furniture and could answer all our questions and was not pushy. He also was very patient with us. Very nice, good quality furniture at reasonable prices....
Teri is the best! She was so attentive, understood exactly what we were looking for and helped us pick the perfect sectional and recliners for our family room. We are so thrilled with everything we selected and she was so helpful every step of the way! Highly recommend!
We had a ten yr warranty on mattress. After 5 yrs went bad. Was replaced by a different type because they discontinued the one we had. After three weeks with new one I called and tosales associate. They told me to give it time to settle in. Now they are telling me the comfort warranty has expired. The sales associate never put in computer that I had called about it earlier, durning corona virus days. I am very upset with Havertys. I, and my family have been buying from them for 15 yrs. NO LONGER. I plan to let all my family, friends and anyone who will listen, not to buy when they dont honor warrentys
It’s furniture delivery day!🙁Furniture damaged right off the truck! Or should I say more like a dump truck. This is a supposedly “Fine Furnishing Store”. The truck does not have a lift gate to raise furniture up and down off of. They usually charge a $500. delivery fee (which during Memorial Day Sale was waived) I’d expect a well equipped truck for that price. We’re waiting for the dresser now because they sent a damaged one on the truck. Their delivery personnel are awesome. Friendly, professional and detailed in making sure items were placed in a manner to please us. I’ll update to let you know if the quality of the furniture is worth the price once I get the dresser.
This complain is for Augusta Georgia Havertys store. After spending $8000 on bed furniture and mattress, the sale man told us that we get two pillow set for our king size bed. Told us it will send to your house with the bed and everything. But guess what I dont see my pillow set as they said!!! Call them and ask about it, the manager at this location told us that they only give to us for buy one get one free??? Hello??? Your sale man tell us is FREE!!! Anyway very disappointed. After spending time and the money at your store and getting this kinda little issue over a pillow and you lost a royal customer. And I wasnt the first time shopping at havertys! Your worker need to work on their HONESTY!Part 2 : update05/05/2020After a month they finally reach out to me and pologize about my issue experience last time I was there, any ways I glad that they actually call me back and explain everything the misunderstanding and I got my pillow thanks to their professional and respond to my common. They surely get my business back I will be back soon to get my nightstand after everything over with this covid19. Thank you.
Disappointed by negative comments made about the area from the sales person. We are moving to SC about 40 miles North of Augusta in July and were looking to furnish our new home. Kinda put off by her comments. She was not native to the Augusta area. Left with out making a purchase of a dinning set we were interested in. Nice store some of the prices were really good but there was no negotiating on the price of the set we were looking at and she added in the extra warranty with out asking if we were interested.
Spent a bunch of money there, got a sofa glider and the arms appear to lack stuffing. I called about it and they ask me to provide pictures via email. The solution was as a favor to me for $99 they would come to the house and repair, ok sounds good. The service person shows up an starts taking pictures and said he couldnt fix this. Its a simple fix for someone with a little experience. I did receive our money back, but wasted my time snd quite frankly pissed me off.Update, hours after posting Havertys contacted me and said they will at no charge pick up my sofa and repair it. All is well, thank you Vanessa.
The prices are high but the furniture was not stylish. The office furniture was beautiful, but the living are furniture wasnt matching up to the price nor the office furniture bold and elegant style. The clearance section was nice but lots of Mitch match items that takes great imagination to put together.
I visited Havertys Furniture today with my wife. We had gone to at least a half dozen furniture stores prior to Havertys. I mentioned to my wife before we went inside that every time we look for furniture we seem to always end up buying at Havertys. WE have found the best selection and reasonable prices here. The employees at this store are always friendly and professional but never pushy. We purchased an Office Desk and a wing back chair today. I would recommend this store to others looking for furniture.
I was there in person yesterday and really did not interact with any one. I was greeter when we came in, but just wanted to look. We decided today that we wanted a chair from there. I called and Lance returned my call and measured the chair for me and completed the sale.
LJ rocks! Im buying a new home and will be returning to Havertys because of him. We went to EVERY other furniture store in town, and we were hounded and pressured and we couldnt discuss what we liked. LJ was both helpful and gave us room to breathe. We found our dream sofa, and thats just the beginning!
We wanted something for displaying some Buyers dolls. Sales rep said to go back and look in the discontinued area. Found two end pieces and a middle long table that were suppose to be kept as a set, we found put later. Started off that he was going to let us have it for $250. Then he went back and discovered that he couldnt do it but he could of course sella saying you and peace which end up costing us almost $400. Sort of like the old bait-and-switch.
Do not go here. Terri Cook is awful!She follows you around and knows nothing about the furniture or mattresses. She will only read what is on the tag and take forever trying to give you any other information, which will end up being incorrect anyhow.I will never buy from here again.

We were allowed to wander the store in peace; we were never pressured to buy; he was courteous and a real asset to your company. Karen was also very professional as she handled our payment. Apparently, she has been there for many years and is so knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great experience in the Augusta store, and we found just what we needed!

2022-06-22Do not waste your time or money here. Let me preface this by saying I know that furniture takes a bit to arrive from overseas. I purchased a sectional in the beginning of January and they told me it would be here in late February. The middle of March rolls around, and they have yet to contact me. After a few calls, they finally tell me when I can pick it up. I arranged for a truck, and then they cancelled 3 different times. The manager promised to have it delivered to my house free of charge AFTER bringing this to their attention and going there in person. Thinking this will resolve the issue, I still waited an extra 2 months until I heard of a delivery date. That date arrives and they bring the wrong couch. Communication with this place is little to none, and I will not recommend anyone I know to ever come here.

2022-06-05JJ took great care of us. Found what we wanted and we were in and out quite quickly. The gentleman in the warehouse who loaded our item in the car was fantastic! He took great care to load the furniture properly. Very much appreciated! We will be back!

2022-02-12This is the Best Furniture store. They have high quality Furniture! If you go to Havertys, Make sure you ask for KYLE!! Kyle took his time with my Wife and I. He gave us all the options that fit our budget. Kyle definitely did an Phenomenal Job!! We ended up buying a queen bed and a complete 7 piece powered sectional for my Man Cave!! Great Job Havertys and Awesome Job Kyle !!!

Customer service rep was friendly however the rep did not wear a mask properly and kept intruding into mine and my wife space. (within 6 ft even though we kept creating the distance).Updated review:Manager called me and is going to retrain the individual and staff. This is quite acceptable. Increased the rating from 2 stars to 4 stars.Store manager comment. Our manager would really like to speak with you more regarding this matter. Management will reach out to you. Thank you.

2021-08-03This Loveseat is 18 months old and the seat looks ridiculous and the 5 year Gold Guardian warranty would not repair it. Their warranty is worthless. I will not deal with them again. Spent almost $5000.00 with them for this ensemble

2021-07-04Sales staff is really good and knowledgeable. If you go ask for Kyle. He has been really great. Communicates well. Worked with us to find the perfect pieces for our house. Furniture is of good quality and their communication on delivery windows is great as to when they will arrive. When it comes to actual delivery and customer service they are the worst in the business. I ordered a dresser in February. First time they damaged it taking it off the truck. Then we waited another two months to get it and guess what....they damaged it again but to make things even better they damaged our brand new hardwood floor and door. Delivery staff didnt apologize. Tried to still bring the dresser in. I showed them the damage and they seemed like it was no big deal. Still waiting to hear from anyone besides Kyle who is doing all he can to help. No manager. No customer service. Still no dresser and dont know how much longer I will have to wait for a third attempt. Beware.
