Mediocre and overpriced. The duck buns appetizer was favorable. Lemongrass tofu w. baby gai lan entree lacked both lemongrass and baby gai lan...? It was instead served with bok choy and a bland sweet chili-like sauce, and no explanation. The Pan-seared soy fish w. organic kale simmered in curry laksa was the most expensive and smallest portion of soy fish Ive ever seen— I order soy fish often and from menus worldwide. The kale curry laksa component was inedibly salty.German chocolate cake was decent. The host was away from his stand and the male waiter seemed to be annoyed by having to seat our party (w. reservations) himself. Aloof and rude. Glad he wasnt our waiter.
Spicy Dumplings were so bland a baby could eat it.Tofu soup swimming with oil and absolutely no salt. The truffle wild rice has no truffle in it just the truffle oil. It had dirt and soil in it and they still charged us for it without an apology. The passion fruit cake is just regular cake. The Mousse was sickly sweet.$84 for poor service. Absolutely nothing fine dine about the place. Portion sizes are not worth the price at all! Poor customer service. They care for just the money!Food inspection required with them serving soil and sand in the food. Avoid at all costs!
High end Pan-Asian cuisine located in Atlanta.Food****I ordered the tofu cashew nut curry dish and my partner ordered the hot pot stew. I thoroughly enjoyed my dish and the curry was so delicious. It was hard to put my fork down! My partner loved the hot pot but it was somewhat difficult to eat due to the glass noodles slipping off the fork so easily!Atmosphere*****By far one of the nicer vegan restaurant atmospheres we have been in. Plentiful seating and dim lighting made this very comfortable.Service****Waiter was prompt and service was great. They were quick to bring our food and water.Price$$$A little pricier but well worth the food and experience.
Liked the service until we ordered crab cakes that didnt taste right. When I told the manager that we were disappointed with the frozen tasting crab cakes they refused to take it back or strike it off of my receipt, keep in mind we only took half a bite. Their reasoning was due to them feeling like people who havent had vegan food may not like certain things. Weve been vegans for years, this just boils down to poor customer service. Such a shameful way to ruin an otherwise good meal.
Took great care of us as a party of 12 for a graduation lunch. Food was excellent, service was even better. Annie was patient and helpful in selecting food for non vegans. Our picky eater 8 year old ate the citrus tofu chicken like it was chocolate cake! Everything was truly delicious even for the non vegan/vegetarians at the table. Very impressed and pleased with our experience. Thank you!
I visited this restaurant for the Vegan options, this restaurant received rave reviews online. The staff was overwhelmed by the lunch crowd; they were short-handed, and our waitress was short on time and unable to explain many options. Food was ok, the cake was dry, the soup was bland, and the fry eggplant dish was so sweet that it wasnt worth the hype.
The swank spot to try if youre vegetarian. They can be a little overwhelmed during the lunch hours. Located in downtown Atlanta, BUT theres a parking garage attached to the building. I wasn’t too fond of the cake, (not pictured - dry and no taste IMO) but my kids loved it. Their cocktails were on point tho!
Love the food! Especially when there are very few vegan and vegetarian restaurants in Atlanta to choose from. Also great and friendly service. This restaurant is also in a great location and I can get there quickly from my downtown office. Oh and not to mention free parking. Did I mention delicious food?
Our first time here and we are so grateful to have experienced such delicious vegan food. The flavors of everything was just perfect. We had the crispy purple yam, spring raw vegetable salad, truffle wild rice, king mushroom w soy au ju and stir fried vermicelli noodle. Wow. All were amazing. The service was great. The server was knowledgeable with the ingredients which was helpful for us. Highly recommend. And will definitely bring our friends. Thank you for gifting us with your delicious food.
I visited for Mothers day and tried the buffet. For the most part, the food was pretty good. Im giving it 2 stars because the food was, #1 mostly room temperature with the exception of items coming right out from the kitchen. #2 the price for the buffet was $68 a person which included water only to drink. Now...that buffet was not worth $68 per person. Maybe $35 but not $68! On top of that, we were charged nearly $30 for gratuity and it was only 2 of us!!! Come on Urban Fix!!! Our server brought us water and a cup of miso soup that wasnt available for us to serve ourselves. Everything else, we walked up to the buffet and got ourselves!! The idea... is to keep people coming back for your food. Congratulations, you made $175 off two people for the next 5 or more years. I will NOT return before then...if ever!!!
We did not have a positive experience when we went recently. We ordered some appetizers. We didnt like one after having a bite of it and when telling the staff, we were told that We dont do exchanges or returns. For a restaurant of this caliber I expected common restaurant hospitality. When we tried to substitute a noodle in a dish, we were told there would be a $5 up charge from the chef. We asked for our check and left. We paid $44 for 3 appetizers, one of which we couldnt even stomach.
Service, Service, Service sucks. Completly ignored after a cold dish. Finally confronted the waiter, and ask if he was going to offer a new dish or wait on us...much to my surprise he said I have three other tables very rudely. The manager or hostess did want to acknowledge the incident and pretended he knew nothing and couldnt help us. Very disappointed, I was so excited to come here after our Fox event. I would not recommend this spot.
Tonight was our worst experience after coming here several times in the past couple of years. Our server was rushed and did not check on us through out the dining experience. We also asked to be moved because we felt we were seated too close to others. Our request to move and our concerns were ignored. Additionally we were not made aware of the added gratuity until we received our bill. Overall it was not a good experience and definitely not worth driving an hour to receive substandard service.
First time staying here in ATL, wanted to check out this place since it was right around the corner, it’s low-key and delicious. Got the German chocolate cake and 2 appetizers which were the steamed buns and the spinach/mushroom ravioli in a a curry sauce. This place was amazing, you have to try it whether you’re vegan or not. Definitely pricier than other places but you get what you pay for since it’s fresh quality. but it is fine dining and we should all treat ourselves once in a while. :)
The food was okay. My favorite thing was the tiramisu. The server wasn’t very communicative at all. She didn’t ask if it was our first time, didn’t give us any suggestions, and didn’t even introduce herself. The worst part of all was that place was literally SEGREGATED. The male hostess literally had all of the black people to the left/back, and hidden when you came in, and he sat all of the white people at the entrance. I told my boyfriend and he said maybe it was a coincidence, and to see where he sat the next few tables. And literally, the host sat like 4 or so more tables, and all of the white people were in the front, and the black people in the back/left side/hidden behind the wall. It really ruined the mood, and I was appalled, still so disappointed. This is 2022, segregation is over.
I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for my friend and I who were flying in from out of town. They sat us in a corner next to a large party when there were plenty of other open tables in the center. The table next to us asked to speak to the manager after waiting over an hour for their food. When the manager came over, he never offered an apology and was very rude and defensive, stating that they should expect to wait at least 35 mins for their food. We also saw that the crab cakes they ordered and were charged $17 for, were the same $5 per pack Gardein frozen crab cakes that they likely just heated up.After witnessing this show of disrespect to the table next to us and waiting over 20 mins without any waitstaff acknowledging us, we decided to leave as we were disgusted with the way we were treated as well as the treatment of the table next to us.The restaurant wasn’t even busy. There were 3 waiters/waitresses for 10 tables. Several of the waitstaff walked by our table without acknowledging us. There was also a table that got seated after us and got water and wine, while we sat there for 20 mins without any acknowledgement.I honestly don’t understand why this restaurant has so many good reviews. It is overpriced frozen food with horrible service. Please avoid this restaurant at all costs.
The food here was very tasty and the quality was definitely not lacking. This seemed to be a more high end vegan style restaurant with a nice atmosphere. All off the appetizers and entrees ordered were in proportion to satisfy you, yet not to fill you up like what seems to be in the typical American mind set. Worth trying, but I still have higher preferences elsewhere.
Herban Fix is definitely my favorite vegan restaurant. This was my third visit & I got the scallion pancake, soy fish and caramel cake... Im convinced you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. I dont even like kale and I would marry the kale I had today. Jimmy is also the best server Ive had at any restaurant; the service here sets an unbeatable precedent. Compliments to the chef isnt enough for the incredible experience Herban Fix offers. Cant wait to come back!
What an amazing experience, the food was flavorful and delicious!! I recommend their spicy tofu soup, and all their dishes are so yummy. We got the curry tofu and boy oh boy it was beyond amazing! I highly recommend this place to any vegans and specially if you want a nice date this is the perfect atmosphere for it!
Wow. Every part of this experience was amazing. The staff, food, and atmosphere come together in a way few vegan places do. Amazing plant-based food. Amazing gluten free options. Amazing cocktails that fit the mood. Truly worth the price for this Asian inspired experience. Just a note, if you are parking, make sure to park in the lowest deck levels, as those are designated for Herban fix.
We were glad to meet there for a small family gathering. We found Herban Fix to be suitable for a vegan fine dining. The food was delicious and delivered on a timely manner. The menu is based on the Thai cuisine traditions. A desert choices was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is divided into 3 sections, the bar, an actual dining room with an open kitchen (fun to watch!) and more private balcony sitting, overlooking the dining room. The minor con is the bathroom with only one stall.
Located street level of a highrise in the SONO district, this place is cooking vegan and plant based food with perfection. So many things on the menu sparked my interest so it was a hard decision. Made a great choice with the oyster mushroom entree.Well seasoned and executed dinner.
Wow! We happened to come across this gem of a restaurant for lunch on a short visit to Atlanta. Great tasting food and prompt friendly service. We also had one of the best chocolate mousse cakes (vegan or non vegan) we have ever eaten! Unlike many vegan restaurants that tend to be small with a few tables, this restaurant was spacious with very tall ceilings and plenty of tables that were spread apart during this Covid time. It was a one of the best vegan restaurants we have been to on our travels and wish we had one like this closer to my hometown! Would highly recommend!!
Literally the best meal i have ever eaten in my entire life. If you live 3 hours away its worth the drive!!! Im from NYC & nothing I have had compares to this food. Ive been vegan for a few years & hands down the best restaurant Ive been to in my life vegan or not. We got the mushroom dumplings. Soy fish. Fried king oyster mushrooms. Fried sushi appetizer. Soy chicken kebabs. Espresso Gelato & chocolate raspberry mouse cake. Absolutely incredible 100/10. Plus the waitress Annie was super sweet.
Delicious Vegan Asian food. Ordered the vegetable spring roles, ginger soy chicken kebabs, steamed buns w crispy duck to start then creamy curry and Pom pom mushroom steak for mains and carrot cake and peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert (so moist) ! ALL INCREDIBLE! Will definitely be back.
TLDR; there’s better places for vegan food in Atlanta for similar prices and better service.Parking: easy parking in the garage on Linden. You don’t need to take a ticket or anything, just park and show up.Atmosphere: more high end than I expected so I was pleasantly surprised. Can get dressed up to go here and it wouldn’t be weird.Service: I thought it was weird that we walked in, made eye contact with the greeter who was sitting at a table, and then waited another minute before she decided to get up and help seat us. Our server was enthusiastic about providing recommendations. But he didn’t do much when we mentioned a food quality concern. Actually, he didn’t do anything and brushed it off.Food: We ordered the curry broth, scallion pancake, baby greens salad, and “Stir-fry rice vermicelli w. Shiitake mushrooms”. I had the curry broth which was fine, presented on white dishes, nothing special. But my friend had the noodles with shiitake mushrooms, found it to be rather bland, and also noticed there were no shiitake mushrooms (title ingredient) to be found. If you’re going to use cheap common brown mushrooms instead, then do that!! Don’t falsely advertise your dishes though. It’s a tad shady to put an ingredient in the name of the dish in order to hike up the price, then blatantly substitute it for a cheaper alternative in the name of higher profits for a dish. When my friend brought it up to the server and showed the server, he brushed it off which I found unsettling.I hope the restaurant will be more honest in the future!
It is amazing that vegan restraint can be perfectly done this well. The food is excellent, the amount is just right, the atomosphere is great, service is wonderful too. We loved the open kitchen too. It took a little long till the main dish to arrive on the table, but still it was worth it. This has become definitely our favorite restaurant!!
Great food, small portion sizes, and pricey. The ambience is upscale Asian with an urban twist. Could have had a better experience with a more knowledgeable waiter. Worth eating here if you dont want to carry around a doggie bag afterwards. Dont come here hungry though, you will be disappointed!All-in-all, the food is surprisingly delicious and the dessert is satisfying.
What a GREAT place!!! Before arriving I thought this would be a hole-in-the-wall cafe type vegan restaurant, as most vegan restaurants are. Fortunately, I was very wrong. This establishment was very nice, it had high ceilings, fancy booths, a nice bar and more. The waiter Matthew M. was extremely helpful in making decisions and very nice and friendly. The food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. So extremely tasty, down to every single bite. I got lucky and had a seat near a fresh bouquet of flowers that had lilys in it which made my whole area smell beautiful! After I was done with the tasteful food, Matthew M. came back with a tray of desserts to show me. It ranged from chocolate cake with raspberry, to flourless chocolate ganache, carrot cake, key lime pie, cheesecake, salted caramel cake, and more! The best part: everything is homemade and 100% VEGAN!! I wish I had time to try one of the desserts but I had to leave. Next time Im making sure I am hungry enough to eat more food there!!!
Its a beautiful place...one of a kind Vegan restaurant! The food is good to taste with variety of options. We had ordered spicy Tofu soup, Organic bibimbap, crispy Eggplant, creamy curry. All of these dishes were good. Would surely visit this place when I come to Atlanta sometime later 😊
Came here for lunch and got seated without waiting. Ordered a Vietnamese coffee, pan-seared dumplings and the Truffle wild rice. The coffee was good, but very sweet. The dumplings were tasty, but the kimchi on the side bland. The wild rice tasted like greasy fried rice from your average Chinese. I was very disappointed. It was difficult to even detect the truffle taste. What made up for the whole meal were definitely the desserts. They came around with a platter of cake slices and they all looked DELICIOUS. I picked the Chocolate cake and it was by far the best chocolate cake I ever had. I found the portions of the appetizer and the main dish very small though, and paying over 40 dollars for this lunch was way too expensive in my opinion.
EVERYTHING is vegan, but you won’t be able to tell because everything is so flavorful and delicious! It was definitely not what I was expecting from and all vegan restaurant. Plus, they even have a lot of really great gluten-free options. It’s pricey but definitely worth having every now and then.
I have been here before when I lived in Atlanta. It was so close to my house! Vegan restaurant was why I came. The space is great looking. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious! Usually I would get the wild rice with mushrooms but today went with the vermicelli although I wanted the crispy soy chicken. The drink menu is on point though! Always. I got the watermelon lemonade drink, so good. See you next time Atlanta, herban fix.
The food was good. Everything was little bit on the sweet side since it was Asian inspired. Little bit too sweet for my personal preference. Overall lot of variety and good dessert selection as well. Little bit pricey for the brunch buffet compared to the amount of variety.
It is a vegan restaurant. They have a lot of different menu ideas from soups, salads, noodles, rice vegetables, wraps, egg rolls, and pancakes ect... Everything has an Asian flavor. I had a mixed green salad with ginger dressing , vegetable egg rolls and hummingbird cake. It was all very good and the service was great.
I started with Lemongrass consommé w veggie dumplings and Asian glutinous rice fused w shiitake mushroom & taro. Both of them had very good flavor. Then I had Crispy king oyster mushroom glazed w sesame soy au jus c which is like tempra on bed of spinach with tempra sauce over it. This was also good with light crisps tempra and sweet flavorful sauce. The brown and red rice came with was also good. Then I had Southern Carmel cake for dessert, it was amazing. Moist and rich Carmel flavor but not too sweet or heavy. Wish I stayed in Atlanta until I had all dishes on menu. I also took some other dessert home, Graham cracker cake with strawberry jam and vanilla frosting and Dark chocolate ganache tart. They are both pretty good too! Also service was good, I had many questions and my waiter Ryan? answered all of it with details. I was by myself but I got a good attention I should have given him more tip!Restaurant was clean and nice I enjoyed time here.I would definitely come back here if I ever travel to Atlanta again.
I absolutely 😍Love this restaurant... Im not vegan or vegetarian, but the food here is so delicious❣️ I could eat here everyday.... And its actually very filling though the portions look small..I prefer to eat in because the to go portions look even smaller... I guess Ill eventually get to the point where small portions are perfect 👀I had the pompom steak which is my favorite... Gotta get that recipe 💯‼️
This is a great place for tasty plant-based options. We had the prix fixe menu for NYE, and the selections showcased a broad range of flavors. All of the food was fresh and unique, with some plant-based meat alternatives I had never tried before. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and the drinks were also delicious. A real treat to visit!
Came here for lunch. super friendly staff. all vegan menu. the waitress was helpful in making the decision between delicious option and delicious option. i got the pom pom mushroom. it was amazing. i loved the flavors and the texture. got a beetle juice to go, which was also great. highly recommend this place.
We treated ourselves here for our date night before going to the airport and WOW! The pictures of the interior do not do it justice. It’s very modern and fresh. The portions are smaller but still filling. You most likely won’t leave with a Togo box but you will be satisfied! When we came in we noticed EVERYONE has desert before they leave. It’s because the vegan options for deserts are more unreal than I have seen before. We were so happy we chose this place!
Love the concept. Love the rich flavor of what I ordered which was the cranberry cheesecake, soy chicken and dumplings with kimchi. The chef definitely knows what hes doing.I understand this is a hi end restaurant but portions could be a bit larger for the price. Or the price could be lower to get more of it.Also, my cheese obsessed bf had the cheesecake and said it was incredibly delicious and he is always hating on vegan cheese and vegan cheese ralated things, but today I found him THE vegan cheesecake. Too bad we live in Florida.Aside from everything, was a good experience to remember since my boyfriend and I are Florida locals and we drove to Georgia for New Years Eve.
We have dined here twice in the past month and love everything weve ordered. The food is beautiful as well as delicious. They even have vegan desserts. Free covered parking right behind the restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere. Definitely worth the trip to downtown Atlanta!
Photos don’t do this place justice. The food, ambience and service were awesome. Our server was SUPER friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious - try the steamed buns and the bibimbap! So god we have this place a try - we were almost put off by other people’s pictures on google as the orange chairs look a bit cheap - but the place is classy with a warm atmosphere and polite service. Loved it. Will be back!
We came in here for Sunday brunch just by accident. We were looking for something else that happened to be closed, so thought we would take a chance on Herban Fix. The atmosphere is modern. The service was fast. And OMG, the food was fantastic. During brunch hours on Sunday it is buffet style only. I was apprehensive because I never eat enough to make the buffet worth it. Herban Fix has so many different and delicious items on the brunch buffet, I didnt care that I didnt eat my weight in food. I had a good amount and tried everything. There was nothing on my plate that I wouldnt try again. Sooooo good! Try it. Its a bit pricey, but I felt like we got our moneys worth.
Unfortunate, I was underwhelmed by everything but the check. I got a Pom Pom and it seemed to be dry old mushrooms dredged in flour that was not fully cooked. We got three appetizers that were little more than exact replicas of food you can get in any mall food court. In A world where it seems vegan restaurants only want to do vegan junk food Herban fix was a beacon of delicious vegan food that was more than deep fried potatoes And fake meats. I am going to chalk up their current lack luster performance to Covid related strain and the business and give them an other chance. Hopefully they get back to their innovative and shockingly good food ways.My wife brought up a good point as well. There are tons of Asian deserts that are not found in almost any restaurant, rather than serve exclusively Southern sweet cakes why not offer some in-house made Asian deserts? While I love mango sticky rice that would be a copout, don’t do it! I am talking tofu pudding (Douhua) with the heavenly sweet brown sugar sauce. A glutinous rice ball desert soup or Shaved ice!!!!! I would also be happy with some steamed cake offerings.
This place is really nice. The set up can be for dress down or grown and sexy. However, the food I ordered portion size was very small for the price. If Im going to spend $16 for a gourmet mushroom salad I do expect it to come with a decent portion size. The size was equivalent to a side salad from McDonalds or any restaurant. This place is pricey but for the most part the food was tasty.
Fantastic atmosphere. I was greeted immediately and my waitress was awesome in helping choose what I wanted. The cold pressed juice was a great way to kick off my lunch which was then followed up by an appetizer and entree that were both fresh, prepared well and had a lot of flavor. Highly recommend. I will return
Herbal Fix is an amazing vegan fine dining experience. The food is delicious the hardest part is deciding what to get! (The truffle rice was incredible) The drinks were great but the beer list is limited. It is a little expensive so just be prepared but for a nice night out this is the spot for tons of vegan options!
I visited this restaurant last night and it was really nice. I got the crispy king oyster mushroom with sesame soy au jus. I think the dish comes with 4 or 5 mushrooms as pictured below and a small bowl of rice. It seemed like a small amount of food but I actually had to take two of the mushrooms home! I also ordered a jalapeño margarita and it was great. The drinks are strong. The service was pretty good. My only cons were that parking was kind of confusing. Parking is located on the side of the restaurant in a parking deck and Herban Fix only has spots 1 through 53 designated for patrons. It’s not a far walk to the restaurant at all; it’s just kind of tricky to find when you’re not anticipating having a non traditional parking situation. It was nice to know that they don’t offer straws in this restaurant but I can see how some people will find drinking out of reused glasses a bit intimidating with all the unsanitary non hygienic practices going on in this world. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience there. I went around 7pm and it started to get pretty crowded from reservations around 830 when I was leaving.
An amazing restaurant serving elevated vegan dishes with an Asian twist. Fair warning, the dishes are on the small side, so if you have a hearty appetite, youll want an appetizer or two. That said, everything we tried was amazing. The crispy duck bao came in a fluffy bun, and put kiddo loved them. The stir fried chicken was sweet and tangy. And the oyster mushroom dish was crispy and tasty. Overall a fantastic experience.
So disappointing after seeing the good ratings. The rainbow fried rice was bland and dry and tasted like dirty rice and beans instead of fried rice. The pom pom mushroom was chewy and sticky instead of tender or juicy and didn’t have much flavor. The serving portions were small. Just not good food
Every time we come through Atlanta we stop here & get food. We bought dinner plus soup & extra sushi. We are still hungry because the portions were definitely half the size & DOUBLE THE PRICE. $21 for a basic pad Thai that’s a small af // $9 for soup that’s half the size it used to be// $24 for 2 rolls of sushi that used to be the size of an actual meal. Thoroughly disappointed with service more than usual & feeling like we got robbed this time. So overpriced for what you get now, definitely the most expensive vegan restaurant I’ve ever eaten at now.-won’t be going back anymore-
Delicious vegan food with a unique twist! Great cocktail and wine selection. The mushroom/soy kabobs are my favorite. Staff is friendly and the outdoor patio is huge! Great to eat out with your pup. It is pricey but expected for the location. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
Oh my gosh..what a fantastic delicacy! Ive been vegetarian my entire life and this restaurant is on my top 5 veg places to eat!Im from Idaho and I cant wait until my next trip to Atlanta to dine here again.Amazing menu..great food!Thank you for going above and beyond to keep us healthy and satisfied!
We just ate here. We all left hungry after paying quite a lot for not enough food. I’m currently writing this from a bathroom stall because my stomach immediately got upset on my drive home. Sometimes I’d say maybe it was some other food but this is all I’ve eaten today. I feel pretty terrible about my dinner choice right now.
The food is outstanding and crazy tasteful! Atmosphere is nice but there one drawback, no eating at the bar...why? I travel on my own for work and find it much more comfortable and enjoyable eating at a bar rather than an awkward table for one...its also more social when Im eating with others. Unfortunately, I probably wont be back...
This is the best place to get vegan cuisine. The menu changes so you always get a new item. They have all types of exquisite dishes that leave you feeling very full and for meat eaters you wont feel like you missed out on getting your protein. Once you get to dessert dont forget to try the flan, its heavenly.
WOW - everything was so good. I’m kind of a picky eater and I loved everything that I tried. The spinach and mushroom ravioli appetizer was probably the best, followed by the stir fry soy chicken in citrus sauce. But seriously, I think I could order anything off of this menu and be impressed!! Our server along w the entire staff were very kind and helpful. I will 100% be back
Food was delicious, but be prepared for fairly small portions at relatively high prices. $7 for a glass of cold pressed juice that was more ice than juice.Service was definitely lacking. Our waiter, AJ, was slow and didn’t know the answers to our questions about the menu, nor was he interested in finding out the answers for us. He acted inconvenienced and put out when we asked him to find out.So - 4 stars for food, 1 star for service.
I definitely had a Great time here taking my Girlfriend here for her birthday, We both loved the decor of the place and the Asian spin on the vegan dishes. BUT why do they have you place a reservation online of theyre not going to honor it??. I had placed a simple Birthday request on my reservation (a simple slice of cake) that they didnt have knowledge of that I had to wind up paying for separately twice....its like why have tht Birthday request column on your website if your not going to read the reservations. On top of that it took 20-25mins for a server to come to our table and give us menus soon as we were seated, the Craziest thing I noticed was the place wasnt even packed. It was roughly about a good 14 people in the restaurant at the eating including us.If they do a better job with the service, like dont ignore your customers Ill gladly give a better review in the future.
This ones a little tricky. On the one end, this is definitely your best option for upscale high quality vegan food in Atlanta. The dishes are pretty unique and creative and some of them are simply mouth watering. For this reason I give this place 5 star. For what this place is supposed to be, it doesnt have much competition in Atlanta (unfortunately) and so it takes the cake.On the other hand, a couple of the dishes left a little to be desired, specifically their mushroom steak. Coming in as the most expensive menu item and their signature dish, I didnt feel like it lived up to the hype. The flavor was a bit lacking and the portion was tiny. Everything else we ordered (including starters) was easily shared between 3 people. This one was so small that we had to pick off tiny pieces.
The absolute worst customer service ever and when we requested to speak with manager regarding our complaint (it took an hour for our order to come out, ppl who came after us were served and finished their meals yet we were still waiting) the manager proceeded to argue with us saying we werent waiting an hour he was not gracious at all no empathy and certainly lacked the skills to make good on a bad situation so much so the table next to us was appalled at his behavior and decided to leave before placing their order....I wont ever go back!
I absolutely love this place. The customer service was impeccable the server was so knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The quality of the food was superb and the presentation was excellent! The cutlery was very clean it made me feel safe to dine here. The drinks are very well crafted and exciting. I had nothing less of an exceptional dining experience. Definitely worth the experience!!
Nice, home-like vibes, with a great waiter! the host seemed a bit rushed and busy as he was seating everyone on a Valentines night, but once we got seated, everything was great! The food was very well done and well presented. The soy based meat options were much better than anticipated. The chicken kebabs were epic and soy fish was more real than expected.
Herban Fix is great for the presentation and experience of deliciiiious food, and service... It was just delightful. oah! They also have onsite parking, but I definitely recommend making reservations in advance. Can not give 5 stars because the portion sizes are way too small and high priced. Even the soup was half a cup for $8. Eating healthy should not mean being hungry. 😩More veggies and bigger soup bowlI ordered coconut soup, Pom Pom Mushroom steak with a side of grilled Asparagus and an extra side of rice
Such a great spot! I went out here for date night recently and we had a blast. Slightly upscale but not too fancy, the food is all wonderful ( we got a few apps then pad thai and bimbimbop which were exquisite). While we didnt get any drinks, the couple next to us did and they looked awesome. Cant wait to make another reservation here soon.
First time visiting and experiencing this restaurant. We ordered over $220 worth of food, and was extremely unhappy with two dishes: Curried Rice Noodles...It was bland and simply nasty.I asked the manager if we could change those dishes (one was never touched and the other tasted slightly). She said their policy was once you order and receive the food you couldnt change it, only order more.Well never be back.
I spent the weekend in Atlanta for my birthday and my mom and I dined here 2 days in a row. We didnt hold back on what we ordered and enjoyed the food. It was delicious. We came back and brought my bonus dad with us. This time I decided to get something different (fried oyster mushrooms) and I literally felt like throwing up. My mom tasted it and felt the same way. I asked the server if I could get the soy fish instead. She then explained their policy. I expressed how a policy where you pay for what you dont like should be expressed... especially if someone is clearly torn between something theyve had and loved vs something they havent had. The server was sweet... not her fault. I felt the manager was cold but also not her fault. Its a flaw in the ownership. We explained how we drove 3.5 hours to dine there and still... did not budge. There was a dry excuse that people get offended when informed of the policy. Personally Im more offended that I paid for a meal I didnt like, didnt eat, and actually sent back. Theres no denying, aside from that meal, Ive enjoyed the food, but Im big on principle and great customer service. This experience Lets me know they lack both.Because of this experience I WILL NEVER RETURN unless something is done to make it right.
This was my first experience here and it was wonderful! The server, Ms. Tami, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. When my guest and I inquired about things to try, she recommended some of the best dishes and desserts and they were fantastic. Everything was fresh and tasty—from the dumpling appetizer, to the entree, and even the desserts (the cake was fantastic). The refresher beverage was great! Definitely coming back soon!
Ive walked by many times and wondered what a restaurant named Herban Fix was all about. Tried it for dinner, and Im glad I did. Excellent food. Service was slow, but when I asked about the menu I got an extremely detailed and helpful answer. Its a vegan version of Asian fusion, and really good.
The only reason I am giving this a one star is because my waitress was nice Chelsea. Ordered 2 apps, two beers and an entree. Only thing that was decent were my vegetables spring rolls. My app soup spicy tofu tasted like basil and water and cleaning ingredients, my entree spicy ramen dish was the same. I tried to push through because I was very hungry coming from viewing the Hawks practice tonight on a solo outing.Long story short the manager came and said yes you’re right we usually don’t take anything off a bill. After me explaining to her that the food was a zero. I actually feel nauseous writing this at the restaurant. She proceeded to tell me she is only going to take off the “spicy something” and I pointed to my entree and she said yes, my waitress came back and said she’s going to take off the soup basically. She tricked me, I had two beers so I guess she caught me slipping. She was lack luster concerned about the fact that I said I’ve came plenty of times before and the food is always good. I’m a chef, so if I say a place is good it’s good! My fav was the Sunday buffet but I won’t be in attendance of the restaurant any longer. I even said I’ll pay for everything just know this food is NASTYYYYY. Like no, places often forget that we are the reason they operate. No customer no money no business. But hey.51.18 for veggie rolls and 2 Coronas lol 😂Plus I have to get me something else to eat, which I’m not too happy about because well I just bought dinner lol. Waitress asked if I wanted a TOGO box for anything!! Girl girl ha heck nooo what imma do with that!? The noodles tasted like cardboard and process, no Asian nothing about it, maybe it was because I came in an hour before closing? Idk 🤷🏾♀️
Went here for my anniversary and the food was amazing. 100% vegan, everything we ate was more delicious than the next. I had a filet mignon type steak made out of mushrooms that was insane. The desserts looked so good that we took home a bunch of them.Definitely one of the best vegan options in Atlanta. I cant wait to go back again.
Herban Fix is the epitome of vegan fine dining! We had the most amazing waitress named Annie, she was very attentive, and didnt let our food sit in the window for more than 10 seconds. Our water glasses stayed full, our table stayed clear, and we never wanted for anything. The food is amazing, everything tasted crisp, fresh, and flavorful. Portion sizes were perfect, everything reasonably priced. Our experience at Herban Fix was nothing short of perfect, needless to say, we will be coming back next time we are in Atlanta.
This was our first experience at Herban Fix. The food is very tasty, so no need to avoid inviting your meat consuming friends. Our group was 1 vegan and 2 carnivores. The food pleased us all. The Crispy Eggplant with veggies was topped by a succulent, spicy sauce and we all gave it thumbs up. The appetizers were Soy Chicken skewers with Shitake Mushrooms and Dumplings with a sweet-sour sauce. There is a full bar and full complement of beverages. The staff helped us with menu choices and tolerated our ignorance with good humor. We will be going back soon to learn more!
Their food is massively overpriced. Its very easy to spend $50, yet leave hungry. I assume its because they rented a building much too big for their needs and are trying to compensate in other ways. Yet, all in all, this makes for a disappointing experience. Ive been there at least 50 times just because this is usually where my fellow vegan friends want to meet.
Quite possibly the best dining experience I have had. Very friendly staff, exceptional food, drinks looked amazing though I did not get any this time, I will be back for them Im sure. Perfect timing between courses and great overall atmosphere. Cant wait to visit again!
My husband and I dined here for our anniversary dinner and we loved it! We had the pancakes for an appetizer and they had super fresh vegetables inside and a lovely dipping sauce. For entrees we had the pom pom mushroom steak and the crispy eggplant. Both of which exceeded our expectations. We both had cake for dessert. The chocolate raspberry moose cake was light and moist but somehow rich. The service was friendly and the food was amazing, what more could you ask for?
I got dinner here for my birthday during vacation. I usually do not like asian food, but I took a risk. The food was amazing! So much flavor. I had vegetables in curry broth and loved it. I also got a chocolate cake which was good, and was surprised by the yams that were puffy. Very unique and a good experience.
We went to Herban Fix for a friends surprise birthday party and they were SO ACCOMODATING! Our server, Amie, was absolutely wonderful. She was so fast, knowledgeable, courteous, and AWESOME! She took pictures for us and did everything perfectly! I had the Zhajiangmian and it was incredible. Ive read others complain about the serving sizes of certain dishes, but I can assure you that wasnt the case with the Zhajiangmian (I still have most of a meal left over).Thank you Herban Fix and Amie for making the night incredible!
Amazing vegan food and amazing staff. Although the meals are not quite authentic from their respective cuisines they have a playful non-offensive twist to them. Be prepared to spend $17 at least to have a decent meal. (Appetizers are ~$7-10 Entrées are ~$14-20 juice is $7 a cup and cake is $9 a slice)
We ordered from this restaurant for delivery while in Atlanta for a night. I dont often do Door dash, but the delivery was fairly quick and the food was hot & crispy. We got the creamy curry, crispy sushi, and some sides. For having randomly gotten this place in a Google search of vegetarian near me, it turned out to be fantastic! The curry was delicious. Fresh crisp veggies, the sushi different than anything Id ever had, and the sauces were amazing. Highly recommend
We dined in and spent about 200 dollars. One of our little toddlers tasted one noddle from a dish and didnt like it. We asked if we could trade it out for something else they mentioned oh no policy this and that. Are you serious ? So our lil baby didnt eat anything and they wouldnt give refund. Def not a customer friendly place. No bueno. Dont waste your money or time. The dishes are small. Wont go again.
Amazing vegan restaurant! Did but expect what we found after reading reviews and it was way better! The food is delicious, leaves you feeling full but like lite with no bloated I ate too much guilt.Desserts you cannot say enough about. Bring friends and try them all, seriously amazing cuisine!
My friend and I had my birthday dinner there to try something new. We are vegan for almost 5 months but dont go out for dinner so often. So this was a whole new experience for us and we totally enjoyed it. food was very very good, you could feel the love and passion in it. we had appetizers and a cake for dessert. One star less for the unmotivated waitress. We felt like we bothered her as we went in at 5pm after they just opened.
Great food, great atmosphere, service was lacking. I ate there with my wife and our server took a long time to greet us. She was very polite and pleasant. Even took home to go through the menu with us. My wife order a beer and the server poured it into a glass then placed the empty bottle on the table. After ordering our food took noticeable longer to arrive than the table directly next to us (whom had sat down after us). Once the food arrived we were delighted. The chef created some amazingly creative, and delicious dishes. Although our server could use some minor training we would definitely go back. I also recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to try a unique vegan meal.
Phenomenal! My taste buds were overjoyed! The RAVIOLI... OHH MY 💃🏽🤦🏽🥁!!! The sauce that comes with it and the texture, my goodness.. just delicious! We also had the Bibimbap 🤤🤤 AMAZINGThe Beef noodle soup 🍲 the kick of spice OHH MY!The Pan Seared Scallion pancakes (my husbands favorite)The stir fried soy chicken with citruss sauce delish! My good friend is here from out of town and she is vegan and I cant wait to take her! This place is INCREDIBLE 👊🏽♥️
Establishment is beautiful. Cant wait to dine in after Covid is no longer a threat. We order to go. Was quite surprised the meals and quantity didnt look like the online pictures. The prices were a bit overrated for some items but the customer service is AMAZING! This is a great upscale vegan restaurant with a laid back environment.
Excellent food. Cooks are from Asia and they are making some great vegan dishes. The menu is large and basically are all either savoury or sweet. We had the scallion and veg pancake, curry rice noodles and veg spring rolls. No room for dessert but they are about 8 and each looked fantastic (they bring them all out for you to see and choose). Most dishes including desserts are soy based. Not really a good date spot. While very clean and modern it lacks romantic atmosphere.
The place is gorgeous! The parking is free. The atmosphere is relaxing. The music is delightful. The conversation is easy to have. The food was good. The price is high. The portions are small.I paid $32 for a ball of rice, a mini-cup of soup, which was mostly water, and a little mushroom served on a big plate.Thirty-two dollars later, I was hungry still because the microscopic food portions are for barbie-dolls, not for actual humans.Im 36 years old, and my body size is XS.I had to go home and eat after my lunch there. If youre looking to meet up with someone and talk over a snack, this place is dope.If you want to actually eat an adult meal to get body and brain fuel, this is not a good place.
The food is amazing. Loved every bite of it!!! This is my third time here and I enjoyed everything very much. My favorite is the coconut soup and the lemongrass tofu with spinach. I have no complaints about the food. The service was great and quick. Our waitress was very polite and efficient. Will definetly come back.
We came 6 people we ordered 300$ tableWe didnt like one dish (the one that the waitress recommended)We tell the waitress and she said ok I will take care of itAnd the manager anny was so rude and so unprofessional and tell us that she cant do anything about that like maybe 10 times !!!And after all she charge us 53.40$ tip without our permissionDont go to this place !!!
There are a lack of good vegan places and so by that standard this is a good place. But in terms of absolute quality of food (and service) I’d rate is down right average. The presentation is only thing I’d call Gourmet about this place. With a lack of creativity everything is basically made from 4 ingredients, soy, tofu, eggplant and mushrooms. The quality of food is average to good, lacking flavor in most dishes or being monotone and boring. It’s good not great.
Cannot say enough good things about this place. My husband and I came here for our wedding reception with a party of 21 people. They were very accommodating and friendly. Our server, Terry, was so nice! My husband and I are the only vegans in the group so we had people with a lot of questions. Terry was so knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. He was also extremely fast at bringing drinks. Everything came out perfect and the food was amazing!!

2022-07-01Had a lovely early dinner here a few days ago. Id be remiss if I didnt post a review. Read many of the other reviews and they were all accurate. A very nice setting in a surprisingly large venue.I dont have a lot of experience with Vegan restaurants bur if they all are like this place I will definitely eat there more. My wife and I had a very delicious meal.Started off with the vegetable spring rolls. Just so tasty and fresh. Next was the creamy curry broth. Curry was on point with a nice hint of spice a great selection of vegetables. Wife had the Ramen noodles but did not have the soy shrimp (not a seafood fan, even pseudo-seafood). She loved it and commented on the tasty broth and vegetables. We topped it all of with a Refresh squeezed juice and slices of Hummingbird and Peanut butter chocolate cakes. A very delicious meal. Highly recommend.

2022-04-10I travel the world for food, most times booking my restaurant reservations prior to the hotel. My girlfriend and I were floored by the food and Service at Herban Fix. Each dish with such beautiful presentation, with creative and more importantly flavorful sauces to accompany the dishes.I was in NY a couple weeks ago and secured a reservation at Eleven Madison Park (3 Michelin Star) for Daniel Humm’s vegetarian menu. Although complex in presentation at Eleven Madison Park, this Asian fusion menu provided by Herban Fix literally floored us. So fresh, so innovative, we ate lunch at Herban Fix in the afternoon and came back for dinner the same day.If that isn’t the best compliment you can pay a restaurant, I don’t know what is.Service with Hannah was incredible as well. She was thoughtful and kind; and informative about the menu which was very helpful. We will certainly ask for her the next time we visit. Simply the best dinner we have had in Atlanta. Cannot wait to return.

2022-06-07My only regret is that I couldn’t try everything here!! 😅 I work in the gourmet food industry and this was one of the best meals of my life. We were blown away by the amazing attention to quality and flavor. I want to come back to ATL just for this restaurant. I tried the steamed buns, crab cakes, crispy king oyster mushrooms, hot pot, chocolate raspberry cake, and fresh pressed juice. This was a perfect spot for a dinner with colleagues, but would also be perfect for a vegan date night too!

2021-11-23My favorite restaurant never fails to deliver on food quality, customer service and ambience!I opted for a meal consisting of appetizers and dessert on my last visit upon the recommendation from the server. She mentioned that the scallion pancakes was the size of a personal pan pizza, so that served as my entree. My dinner started with the soy chicken kebabs (sorry the photo was taken post-devouring) followed by the crispy sushi rolls (think, tempura rolls), and ended with the peanut butter chocolate cake.Everything was as tasty and satisfying!Herban Fix is a gem of fine-dining vegan cuisine and a must for any foodie in Atlanta.

2022-05-02I LOVED this place. It wasnt perfect, but there was a balance of pros and cons resulting in maintaining a 5 star review.Cons:1. While they have a beautiful patio, they werent seating people outside on a Saturday for lunch.2. They didnt take Discover card: I know, I know... this is not uncommon, but it wasnt clear until we were ready to pay the bill.3. The prices are slightly high for lunch but this is likely expected for the area/quality vegan food (see pics of the menu for reference).4. The decor is a bit dated/dingey.Pros:1. The food was AMAZING. They had a great variety and the waitress could explain the menu in great detail. Everything tasted so fresh and healthy. We got the ginger soy chicken kabobs, ravioli, salad with ginger dressing, and pan fried dumplings. It was some of the best vegan food Ive ever eaten (I was a vegetation ~ 6 years).2. Our service was fantastic.3. The waitress let us pay with Venmo since we didnt have our cards aside from Discover.4. The space is huge and, if they ever open the various areas, could appeal to folks looking for a variety of spaces (patio, bar, dining room, private dining with booths, upstairs).Ultimately, the pros were 6/5, the cons were 4/5 - it balanced out. Id go frequently if I lived in the area. I highly recommend it.

2022-05-21We arrived here around 4 p.m. (between lunch and dinner). It had a very peaceful vibe (not much crowd around that time). The restaurant has a fine-dining ambiance. The food was excellent, and I appreciated the menus variety. The food presentation is also quite good.

2021-09-04Amazing Vegan Asian-fusion restaurant in downtown Atlanta! The entire menu is fully vegan, but theyve taken the liberty of creating a very diverse menu with lots of options.Hannah provided impeccable service, and provided great recommendations. The tropical fruit salad was very fresh, and all ingredients were top quality across the dishes. The Crispy King Oyster Mushrooms, and the Crispy Eggplant entrees are delicious.5 stars, highly recommend!

2021-12-21Very good all-vegan menu. Some things more flavorful than others. Very good service from Susan, cute sense of humor. Ridiculously overpriced though. Definitely good for special occasions but not a regular go-to.

2022-03-08I’m giving it 3 stars because the flavors feel flat. If it had not been for the fact that I’ve come for brunch before and have tasted better a few years ago it would’ve been less. The desserts and pressed juice however were great! Not $125 worth tho for the dinner flavors. Mostly soy everything too just fyi
