Our vehicle was sent to their shop because we knew that they would repair the damages correctly. They are so easy to work with and truly want their clients to be completely satisfied. We had several issues with our insurance provider that the Hernandez team helped us through. I can not say enough wonderful things about them!
Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. I had the emblems changed on my car. They estimated that the job would take 2 hrs. My car was ready in exactly 2 hrs. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the quality of work and the level of service.
Excellent service from the time i walked in the door to the time i got my vehicle back looking newer than before.. Extremely professional, Kris and Regina bent over backwards to make sure i was taken care of completely. From helping with the claim set up, to the rental, to handling everything with the insurance company to make sure i was handled righT, to even connecting my new phone to my car for bluetooth and GPS to work - months after i had picked up my car! Kris spent over an hour helping me when Nissan wanted to charge me $150.00 and metro refused to help!!! I owe you so much Kris!These ladies have so much knowledge of everything from insurance to repairs. These two ladies treated me like i was their family and, family takes care of each other. Dropped my car off September the 9th to be repaired. First quote 5,000 and after the second quote over 10,000 Still have not received my car back yet and was told today that my rim had to be reordered because they ordered the wrong one because it wasn’t on the vin.(even though the correct size can be found on the rim) I’m guess it’s not normal for people to change their rim sizes on their car. She stated that it will take 5-10 days in order to get the parts. I understand that there are problems with parts coming from overseas but this is getting out of hand. I will update what happens next week *sighs**** update**As of now I still haven’t received my car back yet.
2nd time using Hernandez but 1st time claiming thru StateFarm. No issues with the quality of repair or customer service. Heres the details for the repair. The car impacted a turkey and had a dent in the hood and a crack in the passenger side headlight. I figured why go thru insurance if I can get this thing fixed for basically my deductible. I was quoted $1315.63 to replace the hood. The damage was so minor I actually had to mention that the light may need to be replaced and was re-quoted $1974.37. Both estimates included parts, labor and paint and seemed reasonable. I was ok paying $1300-ish with out insurance but $1900 was a little too high so I chose to let the insurance pay the additional $900 on top of me paying my $1000 deductible. I had told Hernandez when I walked in the door that I didnt want to make an insurance claim but as soon as I informed Hernandez I was going to go ahead and make an insurance claim the estimate went up to $6069.97 and I was warned by both companies that they do not play well together. StateFarm had conducted their own estimate and quoted $2760.94 (they ended up coming up $75 more later). A difference of $3309.03. It took 6.5 weeks (Sept 7 - Oct 22) to get the car back because they couldnt agree on prices. Hernandez telling me that StateFarm wont pay for necessary parts and StateFarm telling me Hernandez is asking for money for unnecessary repairs so I ask StateFarm whats the hold up. Heres part of StateFarms response: We noted on the original inspection that the hood hinges were not in need of replacement. There is no evidence of any damage to the hinges. They also included the bumper/retainer kit, which isnt a part on the vehicle. Paint Prep/Cleanup Used Fender. There is no fender being replaced on this vehicle. R&I splash guards. This vehicle is not equipped with splash/mud guards so there is nothing to remove. Over and over again stating items needing to be be replaced that werent damaged and/or items being charged for that do not exist. I sent that email to Hernandez asking them to explain the phantom charges and all of the sudden the car was ready for pick up for about half of the price they quoted to StateFarm. I did have to come out of pocket an additional $332.61 on top of my deductible but Hernandez was able to knock off $2976.42 worth of charges to get the car back on the road...? The final total of actual repairs was $3093.55 (StateFarm paid them directly $1760.94 and I paid $1332.61). If youre using USAA , as I did previously with Hernandez, you can probably get your car fixed for just your deductible but if you have StateFarm I would highly advise you use a different shop or you could be without a vehicle for an extended amount of time and/or paying over your deductible. 5 stars for the repair, 4 stars for customer service, 1 star for the process which was prolonged because Hernandez jacked up the price nearly $3000.
They did a great job on my car and stayed in contact with me threw the entire process. My insurance tried to low ball me and make the process long but Regina and the people at Hernandez didn’t let them and she let me know what to do when it happened. They were very professional and really helped me out threw my long wait because of my insurance company. I’d definitely recommend Hernandez Collision.
My experience was a wonderful one as they assisted in helping me maneuver the many issues that arose with the insurance company. For my convienence, they made arrangements for a rental car to be delivered to me at the collision center. This business went as far as having the owner (Mr. Hernandez) spend 45 minutes with me after business hours discussing solutions to the insurance problems and providing advice on how to navigate them. Furthermore, they went above and beyond with the actual body work to the extent I was surprised how new it appeared. I would highly recommend this business to anyone and everyone in any situation requiring mechanic/body work.
I was rear ended and took my car to Hernandez in Hinesville. From the moment I walked through the door, they were amazing. Shop did excellent job repairing my 370Z, met and exceeded my expectations dealing with my insurance company. Only thing I didn’t like is that they didn’t exactly match my replaced tire with the original, same brand and tire model but it has a different tread pattern than the other 3. Also they pressure washed my engine bay - I don’t like to spray water in there. Quality and customer service is there, reason why I brought my vehicle here. Best shop reviews in town.
I took my vehicle to get fixed at Hernandez and never thought I would come out with having Family! Kris and Regina were so knowledgeable on every aspect of the repairs and very thorough about the repairs. The technicians fixed everything and then more. I picked my car up in much better shape then it has ever been in! I highly recommend this shop for any of your needs for your vehicle. They are honest, affordable, and do everything for you. Set up the claim, rental , repairs, and even help with diminished value. Service like this is so hard to find around this day. Thank you for everything and I will definitely use them again.
Initial impression:The work on my vehicle has not occurred, still waiting on the insurance appraisal. However, the ladies in the office are amazing! My first phone call to their office, I was pretty much crying from all the stress of never been in an accident before. I have a service dog and needed to get him to the vet asap and they were on it with helping me get a rental within 1 hour of the vet appointment!! I don’t think I could have worked that fast at getting myself a rental if I tried! They took the stress away from being in an accident. They discussed options and educated me about the process that the insurance agent had not even mentioned such as a “diminished value claim,” especially since my vehicle is a 2017. They are trustworthy, honest, and upfront with you. There is no beating around the bush; they tell you exactly how it is or will be. They walk you through every step and take care of the whole process. All I really needed to do was be there, stand there, breathe, and accept my rental. Everything else was taken care of. I’ll update review after repairs.Update:My car was repaired. It looks and drives brand new again! They did a great job.
After another shop told me they were “too big” for my personal job I came to Hernandez hoping they were not the same. Even though the job I was requesting to have done wasn’t a very large one, the staff Hernandez Collision Center treated me as if I was having the whole vehicle repainted. Everyone was polite and helpful and went above and beyond to answer questions, provide info and take care of me. My job took about 1 day to complete and even during that short time span the Hernandez staff called me multiple times to update me on the progress and to go over options to get the exact color right. My biggest worry was having the color matched correctly and again, the staff knocked it out of the park. I was given multiple options to choose from for paint color and even though my vehicle wasn’t there to match while the parts were being painted, the staff relied information to their painter about my color to get it to match as best as possible. The end result came out better than I expected, pricing was fair and reasonable and overall experience was above satisfactory. If I ever need more auto body work done I will be going to Hernandez before all others and referring others to them as well.
I had my Cadillac repaired from an accident. Everything seemed fine until I had a passenger going with me. When she tried to open the front right door, it was sticking. Rubbing metal on metal. I took it back and the adjuster looked at it and told me they just had to adjust it more. When I went inside to make an appointment, the adjuster came out and said that the owner said they werent going to fix it at no cost. He said they wouldnt have left it that way. The owner wouldnt even talk to me about it. He just dismissed me. Not a way to do business. I do not recommend this place of business.
The staff at Hernandez were beyond exceptional. They helped with all my insurance supplements that were needed to make sure my car was repaired to new condition. They went above and beyond to make sure that it was fixed properly and worked with my insurance company to ease the burden from me. If you want your repairs done right then you need to visit Hernandez Collision Center. The will make your experience less stressful. Thanks to all the staff!
Great Experience! Mrs. Spurgeon was welcoming and knowledgeable. They took great car of my BMW! They also handled the entire process with the insurance company down to reserving my rental car and returning it for me. My car looks Great, like new! I am well pleased with the work done
If I could have given no stars I would.It took two weeks to repair my power steering. Had it home less than 48hrs and the tire rod snapped in my driveway. Haven’t driven the car more than 10 miles since pickup and we are in the same neighborhood. Called and they are refusing responsibility an not willing to fix it and didn’t even offer to take a look at it. The person on the phone immediately deflected blame and seemed unconcerned that a car which came from their shop seems to have been poorly repaired to the point that it cause more costly damage. As a business you are responsible for the work done and you should want to ensure that you’re not the cause of further damage. They don’t seem to give a damn after they have your money. Had they been more concerned and just offered to take a look this review might have been completely different.
10 stars!!!! First and foremost my car looks perfect, seriously PERFECT!!!!! I bought my car brand new so I had high expectations. They even detailed it for me. After my accident I got 3 recommended to go to Hernandez, so I expected good service , but what I got in return left me speechless. This God sent woman names Regina is AMAZING!!!! She did everything, all I had to do was show up. She filed the claim, made a reservation for a rental car. Had them come pick me up for the bodyshop, and kept me informed the entire process. And just reassured me that everything would be ok. She even informed me of additional things to do when your car is in an accident. The entire Hernandez team was friendly, polite, and extremely helpful.
Kris and Regina are amazing. They go above and beyond to help. I had to deal with my medical needs post-accident so they bent over backwards to hand the insurance and rental car. When I got my car back it was better than I could imagine. And even the smallest details are fixed promptly. I highly recommend them for your body and paint needs.
Hernandez Body are absolutely the best body shop in Hinesville hands down. The Kris and Regina run the shop and they are both great people. They did such a great job on my repairs you cant even tell my truck was hit. Kris makes sure you know the ins and ouya of the insurance companies. Once my vehicle was complete they even gave me a HUGE chocolate bar for choosing them!! Dont go anywhere else! Take your car to Hernandez where they take very good card of your vehicle.
I had to go to Hernandez Collision due to getting rammed from behind. The person at faults insurance company was very slow and impersonal about getting my car fixed. Mrs. Kris at Hernandez was extremely helpful in getting them to move there feet. Though even when they did they gave her a near impossible budget, yet Mrs. Kris did everything in her power to get my car looking new again. I truly appreciate her patience, and the hardworking of the men who worked on my baby. They are truly amazing.
Four words extraordinary, exceptional, expeditious and welcoming. The service from Hernandez speaks for themselves. When you first walk in you can sense a trustworthy environment and outstanding customer service. Besides the warm feeling the work speaks loudly. I hate that my family and I are moving I don’t ever think I will get the same experience that had received nowhere else. When I received my vehicle back it looked brand new. My truck was detailed on the inside to match the outside, making my vehicle looking like a show room car. One stop Hernandez! I can’t think you enough. I can go on and on, but you have to see for yourself and I promise you would not want to go anywhere else.

Service fantastic. Had unique damage to our 2011 Ram Sport SRT. Had house fire with truck parked next to it. Front end melted. These folks made our truck look like brand new. Kudos!! Had a deer destroy the bumper and damage a fender on my truck. Hernandez made sure I got the right parts and the body man is the best Ive ever seen. He was able to make the truck look new again! Paint work was also superb. Highly recommended!

Great service, friendly staff, very knowledgeable and CUSTOMER FOCUSED. Some places act like they work for the insurance company, but at this place you can tell they really care about the customer first, not just the insurance company. Chris fought my insurance company to make sure my truck was taken care of and I didnt have to pay any more than I was suppoesed to. Definitely the best shop in Hinesville, hands down.
I have a 2013 Tahoe I got rear ended, Hernandez was fast to pick my car up and get it checked out, but I can say the paint job wasn’t to great I have runs on my back bumper and still have tape on the top of the car, also the wiper on the back of my car was broken from them taken it off and putting it back on, also did not put the lt symbol back on the right side ! Iv always heard good about hernandez but they didn’t do us to good!
Hernandez Collision center handled my repairs and the results were amazing. The staff was even able to reserve my rental and arrainge for my pickup while I signed the paperwork. The custom chocolate bar when I picked up my vehicle was topping on the cake.
The only reason I dont give them five stars is because Ive never personally used this company. They have seemingly outlasted the competition by decades. Their store is like a landmark in the area. I lived in the neighborhood for many years and never heard a bad word about them. I would probably use them in the future if I still lived there, but we moved hundreds of miles away (Moving often is a military way of life). I hope you consider them if you need your vehicle fixed.

They helped me with my accident with great detail. Helped explain the situation talked to my insurance cpmpany, extended my rental, and prevented insurance for forcing me to total my car which would put me $2000 in debt. Definitely best auto shop Ive been to. If I need a shop again, I will go to them!!

Please dont make the same mistake I made. My insurance company dropped Hernandez because their work went from perfect to pathetic. I took my Chrysler 300C to them after a front-end collision with another car. Not my fault. They did a fine job except when they gave me my car back I had to have them adjust the hood and my forward facing sensor was installed without all the correct parts and it also wasnt set up. So once a year I have my car detailed and waxed.. I noticed that the whole front end that was replaced has spider web cracks all the way from the bottom to the top!! I have drops of paint that because they didnt paint it evenly theres drips all the way down the driver side bumper, also Im missing all kinds of clips that hold the fender in place and the wheel well. I found all this out in under 5 minutes and another dealership that isnt even open for business so they hate you didnt even have a reason to tell me this other than they did a bad job. I have been nothing but nice and professional with them up until this point when they tried to tell me that I hit something with my car or somebody hit me. I constantly park in handicap parking theres no way you could hit the front of my car without hitting a big yellow Pole. On top of that after another body shot looked at it and explained how they would have bent it out theres no way the spider web cracking would go that high if somebody hit me and theres not even a mark on the car so how do you hit somebody without leaving a mark???. So now I took it to another body shop and they showed me how crooked my hood is my passenger door is Warped and theres no way they said that I was hit. They gave me a lifetime guarantee for their crappy work and when I took it in they tried to blame it on me!!! Even telling My Husband to just claim uninsured motorist which is a lie!! Im not going to defraud my insurance company. So now I have an adjuster coming out to look at all their crappy work and Im going to have to sue them. They didnt honor their work because their work is very bad I highly highly warn you to be careful and in fact I hate to say it dont even go here.PS found this...Spider webbing is due to the paint not being able to flex so it cracks. I believe some paints have an additive that allows the paint to be more flexable I forget what its called. My friend does alot of paint and body work I can ask him if theres a quick fix and what you can do to prevent it.So yes they lied.

I recently took my BMW to the location in hinesville and had no problems. The rep had me in a rental within minutes. they made sure the insurance company did and payed what they were suppose to. my first accident, and if i get into another i will most likely go back. cant vouch for other location but the hinesville location is very good.

Plz Im telling you not to go this place they are in connection with particular shops that try to keep making money off people my car went in for repair and I took it with my gas tank on completely empty (didnt go in like that) things were missing and my tire had to low pressure so I had to get that fixed my self and when I called them about it all they said was its not there fault like they are shady as hell for one the tire that was supposed to be fixed they flipped around and than it had a nail in it reminding you it took 2 full weeks to get my car back from there 🖕🏾🖕🏾🖕🏾

2022-01-01I want everyone to know about this company, including Kristine and her team!! After my car was damaged in an accident, I went to Hernandez Collision in Hinesville. I have to admit, I didnt have a clue how to proceed, and it was obvious!!! So as soon as I walked through the door, Kristine came to my rescue!! She did everything!!! (Thank you for that, Kristine!!). Not to fail to mention the end result of my car!! They workmen did an outstanding job!! My car looks like new!!! I highly recommend this company!! 2022-05-18Absolute BEST in the business hands down!! It is so hard to find honest, dependable and trustworthy repair shops, but Hernandez is all of those and more! They go the extra mile to ensure your vehicle is repaired properly and take the extra time to do it right. I am so grateful to them for repairing my vehicle and dealing with the insurance company, and the back and forth, so I didnt have to. They documented every step, took pictures, kept me updared and overall I couldnt be happier with the work, expertise and care they provided to me during a really frustrating time. While I hope to not need their services again any time soon, they have a customer for life! Thank you guys so much!

2022-05-07Do Not Recommend.After a collision with a deer early January at around 35 mph in my 2021 Ram 1500, lower bumper was damaged. Turned in to Hernandez Collision 17 January for repairs. Did not receive my truck until 6 May 2022. Collision center provided me with ZERO communication during the repair process, I constantly had to call/visit to get updates. Collision center present three additional supplements to USAA, the last supplement delayed receiving my truck by two weeks. In addition, the repair cost to USAA came out to over $14k and when I drove my truck off the lot the windshield wiper fluid was empty. I refilled the windshield wiper fluid reservoir, and now currently wiper fluid is spilling out of the grille because the reservoir was not even fixed.In short, terrible customer service, no communication, long/multiple delays, and terrible quality control.

2022-07-12Do not take your vehicle here they are scammers and they wont fix the car all the way. They had my car since February n its now July n I got my car back 07/12 but my whole tank of gas is gone glue all over the doors of my car. Another thing is they put more money in my car then what I paid for the car. They are very unprofessional.

2021-08-20My car was sent from the Savannah location to the Hinesville location so the could start work immediately. A few weeks went by and I called to check on the progress. Not 100% satisfied with with the report I, called the owner and left a message. He called me back and covered every last concern I had. I went to Hernandez because they do the best work in the area. The staff are friendly and professional. What stood out most about my encounter was how the details were handled. From the minute I walked in the lobby the staff started working on getting my rental, parts list, and even calling my insurance company to let them know where the car was for the adjuster. They went to work immediately and as far as know havent stopped yet.

2021-09-07Beautiful work, timing was perfect, my car looks better than when i bought it. Kris, Regina, and Mandy are so knowledgeable about the insurance and repairs. They handled everything for me and took all the weight or concern. They fought with the insurance company to make sure my car was done right! Huge thank you to Kris and all the ladies there! No better place to go for the repairs these people treat you like family no matter what!
