I hang out with my friends at heroes and villains almost every Friday afternoon. We bring our own Magic the Gathering stuff and play a couple games.
This is one of my favorite places in town. We have been shopping, visiting, playing and hanging out at Heroes and Villains for several years now. We have made friends here that we are very thankful for. Great selection for comic book fans, collectors and gamers. I will always think of this store and the great Pokemon memories we made here with my son. I love this store and appreciate the owner and the staff for their hard work and passion giving their customers the best possible experience each and every time at Heroes and Villains.
This store was awesome. I live in a small town over an hour away. I normally have to order gaming supplies online, which I dont mind, but I would love to support a brick and mortar shop, and oh boy did I find one.I had great service and they had the books I was looking for, and I was able to handsome new paints to try. I will totally return.
My husband and I love this shop! The staff is awesome and helpful. They have a great selection and offer monthly and weekly comic subscriptions (so you dont miss any issues). There is a great community of gamers that hang out at the store and are helpful to new gamers. I played my first RPG at the shop and did not feel stupid when I had to ask a lot of questions... it was fun figuring out how to navigate the new imaginary world.
Warner Robins friendly local game store. I go here for mostly for MTG events, but they do offer D&D, Warhammer, comics, and more. They ship is well stocked with anything you need for any of those hobbies and will happily order anything for you that they might not have on hand. Great staff, great community, an overall wonderful place to share common interests in Warner Robins.
Was a fun place with a low key atmosphere. My 9yr old son loved playing games with the other kids and adults. The store owner was very nice and knowledgeable. They gave my son a few free cards which just made his day!! Thanks for the great time!
I have lived in Warner Robins for about 5 years, and after first moving here, I found this comic shop. I have visited it many times over the years and the employees and the owner are consistently helpful, passionate and knowledgeable. They have a wonderful selection of comics and graphic novels, as well as board games. They also boast events every week, such as Magic on Fridays, and Warhammer/40k on Saturdays and Sundays. The community is welcoming and supportive to new and old players, and very welcoming to the influx of transient service members from the base. Something Ive appreciated a lot.If you want to stop by an awesome comic store, this is one of them.
Great shop open for many years. The owner is super nice and staff are always friendly and helpful. Lots of in store activities and sales and great subscriber system for regular comic readers. You won’t find a better shop in the central Georgia area.

My Son brought me here and I absolutely love this place. We did some shopping for myself and my other Son too. I WILL be back to do more shopping, and to just hang out with fellow MTG follk !! The staff is absolutely amazing as well, the young lady was very helpful and extremely informative !
H&V has such an incredibly warm and friendly environment. Those who frequent the shop can tell you two things: You will meet good people here, and the owner is a genuine, hard working man. The employees create real connections with their customers and even greet them by name, it’s superb customer service. There’s also a wide variety of comics, you won’t be disappointed.
Best Comic Bookstore in Middle Georgia!! The owner Mike is very knowledgeable and always there to help and make sure you have a great experience while in his store! Heroes and Villains has always been my go to store. Not only does it have the most current comics it also carries a huge selection of back issues and a wall slammed with awesome key issues! They also offer a monthly pull subscription service which is a step above the rest! Stop by this store today you will not regret it!!
I have been going to H&V since I was in high school. Throughout the past several years, Ive moved around to many different cities all across the nation, and have yet to find a single store that better serves my needs as both a comic reader AND a tabletop/board game player. Now that Im back in town, its great being able to once again frequent the best comic and gaming store in Middle Georgia.
I was visiting Atlanta outskirts yesterday, and I found a GREAT boardgame shop in Warner Robbins, 60+ miles from the airport.I went in and looked around. The left hand of the shop is a wide variety of boardgames, and the right hand of the store was comics.The owner is friendly and the woman at the cashier, was polite and knowledgeable. They didnt mind me asking all sorts of lame game questionsThe play space is amazing. The whole center of the store is filled with tables.Im pretty sure they have league play for the various collectible games.I couldnt find anything wrong with with the store or the people. Loved it.
Heroes and Villains is nerd haven and one of the best stores I have ever visited. They have everything! A great selection of back issues, new comics, games and gaming supplies and vintage toys! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. While I was there, I saw one employee help young comic readers pick out books. Twice she walked over to the comic selections and talked comics with these small children. These are the things that keep our hobby alive and growing. Thank you Heroes and Villains for being in my area!!!
They focus on mostly comic, and games that are board related. And its hard to find others that come here that play magic the gathering. And theres absolutely no trace of yugioh whatever. But they have an outstanding magic the gathering assortment of cards you can buy, all organized by set. And thats why I love this place.
One of the most customer friendly places for comic fans. Not only does this store provide the merchandise, but feeds the community needs as well. The owner takes great care to weed out the undesirable element that can creep into gaming He pulls the weeds like a gardener (Guy Gardner perhaps?). If you need a place to embrace your inner nerd, I couldnt think of a better place.
Great employees! Lots of different items from a large assortment of classic and current comic books, collectables, pokemon cards, and storage/organizers. My whole family loves to shop here and they also had a great Free Comic Book Day event this year.
Ahh the many things I can say about Mike and his store, but I’ll keep it short! My husband has frequented this store for YEARS, and never once had a bad experience. This store and its owner and employees create a safe, fun and welcoming environment for anyone to come in and do something as simple as purchase a comic book to spending hours playing various board and card games. Mike and his team have never been anything other than courteous and welcoming, if your looking for a new hobbie or someone to share in a common interest, I highly recommend checking this place out for yourself!
I was on temporary duty in the area with nothing to do and when I came to the shop I was welcomed into the community of nerds like a brother. I played in the DnD adventure and play in the draft for Magic(I even one two out of four games, much to my surprise) I brought my friends from class to the shop at lunch and they found a few things that they liked. I would recommend that you stop here if you have time, you are likely gonna find something that interests you.
Mike is one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet. Store is well stocked for all games. Clean and the staff is very friendly. This is my one stop comic and card shop. Stop in and take a look for yourself you won’t habe any regrets.
Mike is great and friendly. There isnt a judgemental vibe that other comic stores have that Ive been to, where when making my purchase, the cashier has a look that I dont look like I should be in a comic store. I also appreciate that no one bothers me while Im browsing and doesnt mind that I browse. The only problem I have is that I end up staying longer and spending way more money than I anticipated, haha!
So, I used to avoid H&V, because of some issues mentioned in a prior version of this review.But Im glad to say that theres no such complaint anymore. I went in the store today and found it awesome, well-stocked, nicely arranged, competitively priced, and very friendly. I met the owner, and hes a super nice guy, and very willing to help with questions or any other thing. He recognized me and knew my name from my previous review - he takes his business seriously and has his mind in the game, and seems like a solid person.I will be happy to take my business here in the future.
I live in Macon, and I make it a point to drive to Warner Robins to buy all my comics and related gear from Heroes and Villains. Seriously, the best customer service and most welcoming atmosphere possible. I look forward to my weekly visit. Mike, Don and the rest of the staff are always friendly, and on point.
H&V is THE centerpiece to the comic and pop culture community in Middle GA. Having been around almost 15 years not only makes them the longest standing it makes them the best when it comes to experience and knowledge. Great atmosphere with an amazing selection of comics, games and menorobilia. Offering subsection services for comics as well as standing communities for almost any game you could want to play. You need not look further!

Dungeons and dragons Wednesday and Saturday! They have groups for Pokémon, my little pony, Warhammer, heroclix, magic, and I think some more. Shop owner Mike is like the best person ever! And the shop keeps are super kind! H&V is the best!!

The owner of this store helped me out a lot and probably didn’t even know it. I met mike when i was only 17 or 18, on the verge of becoming a man, but not having any idea what that meant. I was afraid of all the things life had in store for me, how i was going to turn into a boring adult soon, and wouldn’t be able to keep playing card games, or doing other fun, nerdy stuff. Mike showed me that if you love something enough, it doesn’t matter how old you are, or what other people might think. The countless nights I spent in his store, enjoying the company of other like-minded individuals, and listening to his gems of wisdom, mixed with his own, incredible sense of humor were some of the most fun I’ve ever had. I finally did turn into that boring adult, but The life lessons mike gave me have continued to resonate through my everyday life. Nowhere else in the middle Georgia area will you find a comic store with people as down to earth and friendly as you will at Heroes and Villians.

The best comic book/hobby shop Ive ever been to. The owner and staff have extensive knowledge of comics and other collectables and will do what they can to satisfy the customer.
Take my sons here on saturdays to the pokemon league they put on. They love it, everyone there is super friendly and patient with my boys who can get over excitied. The woman who runs the league does a great job with the kids who come to play and even plays quizz games where they can win free cards.They enjoying playing Pokemon and I enjoy looking at DC Comics statues that I cant buy so its a win for everyone. All the staff are very welcoming. I would highly recommend them.
Every time I am in there and see the owner, he has little to no concern to who you are till you buy something then he becomes happy and cheerful to you. The atmosphere there is buy something or leave and I hate it. Wish he would be a bit nicer to me.
I purchased a Pathfinder GMG, with 2 other Pathfinder books. The cashier dropped the GMG and I thought nothing of it. I get home and realize the back cover now had a 1 inch crack in it. I wrote an email explaining the situation. I bring the book and receipt back a few days later and explain the situation again. I arrived angry but left a little confused as they made sure I was a happy customer. Not used to such good customer service! Thanks Andrew! I am a loyal customer and always will be!
H&V is the best comic and gaming shop in Middle Georgia. With friendly and knowledgeable staff and an excellent selection of comics and games, you wont leave there disappointed.

I am a disabled vet, i suffer from ptsd, and a social anxiety disorder, it makes it very hard for me to be in public and around people. H&V allows me to subscribe and collect my books monthly,, so i dont have to come in weekly. When i do come, the staff is very friendly, and as awkward as i am in public, they make me feel comfortable and welcomed. I never have to announce who i am,, i walk in and the clerk has my books waiting for me, im never pressured into uncomfortable converstaions or unwanted purchases . H&V has helped me tremendously and never knew that they were.i will always be a loyal customer , and thank them for going the extra mile to help out a vet.

This is a pretty big store. They have a lot of DC and Marvel and a little Indies. They have a huge gaming area. The employees are very nice and helpful.
I miss out on all their cool sales but they are always friendly and willing to answer questions. Even if they dont have what you want in stock, they help.in pointing you in the right direction. If that is not a great place to shop i dont know what. I always feel bad if i walk in and dont buy because they are so noce

I mostly go here for the Warhammer community and the occasional D&D book. However the staff is friendly, and knowledgeable. Don is the man to see there for Warhammer.
Every time I go there I meet new and very nice prople. I used to play dnd there every Wednesday but had to stop dew to school, if I could I would still go.

Lots of different gaming products and comics. Dnd, Warhammer, MtG, and others. MtG is primarily standard products, with a few modern and vintage.
Wow. Just wow. I came here at 6:46 and the doors were already locked even though they close at 7. The opened sign was still on, until we came up and the rude ass person turned off the sign. I will not be returning and I am very dissapointed

Ive been playing games here 2 times a week for 3 years. Always a welcoming environment and a large community for every hobby.
Zero customer service. No one greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. The Energy there was not welcoming at all and took away from the nostalgia of being into the comic scene. Wouldnt spend my money at the business.

2022-07-03UPDATE: The return was completed with no issue. Thanks Mike for reaching out! Got some awesome model/paint supplies instead.Overall great selection for your gaming needs, but frustration with lack of consistency between employees. Bought paint after asking an employee specifically could I return or exchange them. Said yes, as long as they weren’t opened and used. Bought the paint. Decided to go with a different brand and returned days later to exchange for paint supplies. Different employee told me I couldn’t exchange the paints or return them because there is no way to know if they’ve been used, as she struggled to open one to show me... (These are citadel paints that have seals I’m pretty sure…still unopened)This was a place I frequented about twice a month sadly.

2021-09-14Most impressive! Great selection of back issues, collected collections, miniatures, miniature-paints (best selection that Ive seen in Central Georgia), and other sweet collectibles. Most importantly (and unlike other local comic shops) the prices are amazing and rival those of online merchants! I will be back for more soon.

2022-09-07I have no issue with the staff they have always been friendly when I have come to purchase dice, magic decks, gaming supplies, ect… but I don’t think I have ever had a experience when dealing with the owner. The first time I met him I was there introducing my friend to magic and assisting him in buying his first precon. He was very short and couldn’t get back to his laptop fast enough after pulling decks to view which caught me off guard since the normal staff is very friendly and helpful. I prefer not to write reviews in general off of one bad experience so I ignored it and continued to use this shop. But not once again I feel unwelcomed by the same person, I’m new to dnd and trying to get my girlfriend and friends into it after playing adventurers league for the first time this weekend at a con. Went to this establishment since it was local to see if we could sit in and watch a session so my girlfriend could see how it was played so we could return this weekend with our friend group and play. He went on to pull at straws and come up with a bunch of excuses for why we couldn’t watch saying there was no room (multiple open chairs) and the fact he was closing the locking the store up as if that made a difference to us overlooking a session. I just got the “pay or leave” attitude from him which I see is a common occurrence according to other reviews which I would have had no problem doing since this is a business if he didn’t lead with the “no room” excuse first and made me feel unwelcomed. I will not be returning and I wouldn’t recommend anybody bring new players and have them turned off to the hobbies we love. It is worth it to drive the extra distance for a better game store.
