I definitely would not recommend staying at this place. The room me and my fiancé stayed in was horrible. The pillows were covered with hair, the sheets were stained, the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in ages, the shower was disgusting. We didn’t even sleep under the covers. I have never felt more uncomfortable and gross. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Oh, and there was old dried up food in the bedside table. And dust covered every single furniture surface in the room.
I dont know why anyone leaves the bad reviews. Been here 4 times now and always clean and nice spacious rooms and very easy on the wallet. Great place for a quick weekend getaway. The main part is how friendly and accomodating the owner and staff are. I will be back again and again. Rooms are twice the size of of a normal hotel. I would give more than 5 stars.
This place is outdated with roaches and a weird smell like mildew and fish. Not to mention the price is extremely high for a place that doesnt have breakfast or any accommodations. Also the other people staying at the hotel is less than unsavory but basically its some kind of drug stop save your money go to exit South and you can get a much nicer place for the same price with free breakfast pest free and a better class of people
Quaint hotel. Cleanliness not priority. Kinda looks like may of been apartments at one time. Thin floors as we heard the people who I think actually lives there stomping all night until about midnight. Started about 8 am again . Only saw one cockroach so that was a plus.. shower valve wouldnt shut off so no relaxing bath. Dirty coffee pot..not much positive to say
If I could give half a star I would.Place looks great on the outside the inside was dirty and dusty not to mention the bathroom was disgusting. Also had a baby Scorpion crawl under the bathroom door and crawl towards me before I slapped it with my shower flip flops that I had to buy just so I could shower. Sheets were stained and filled with cigarette holes. Was kept up all night by doors slamming and banging from almost every room surrounding ours. I wont be back and I will never recommend this as a place to stay! I will however tell everyone I come in Contact with not to come here!!
Okay experience, room was big and nice. Only some basic amenities werent available (for example I couldnt get an iron) and no one to ask in the morning. Great price though and if you bring your own basic amenities it is a good place to stay. I would definitely visit again.

It was ok. not very many people staying here but it was quite noisy(the walls are thin), up until late and that may have something to do with tbe fact that theres a bar next door. the room was ok. our tv didnt work and the person in charge, who was very nice, had ro come replace the box. then i had to clean the bathtub before getting in it. and the towel size was meant for a kid. the shampoo comes in a packet & there was not even enough to wash my hair. & all of the mirrors were dirty. me & my husband cleaned them so we could see. the maid service needs a overhaul. other than that it was ok.
I accidentally doing this place and have ended up staying here for a solid week! The atmosphere and laid back vibe are exactly what I needed! Theres a little bar next door and everything you could get in this road, a dollar general, a water park, a couple restaurants and a convenience store. Im actually considering a move here. This place is spectacular! !
Love this location! Very friendly! Stumbled across it when looking for a place to stay on my road trip. Affordable prices and is pet friendly 💕 this is a perfect place to stay with a family especially if you like to be surrounded by the sounds of nature. I will be coming back again to this motel in the future!
This is perfect. Just south of Atlanta. Out of the city. Nice and safe nice and clean. perfect for the price & right next to a state park that is beautiful. The people are really nice here & very accommodating. Will start back on our way through. Its not a resort its just a small hotel but perfect.
Awful place to stay, super sketchy. They say they allow dogs but in reality they really dont they just charge you a pet fee and dont even let you walk the dogs outside in the front grass area. Beds are awful and super outdated. All they want is your money. Dont stay here, go down just a few more exits and I promise there are better ones.
Okay place but this time room was really dirty. Sheets were dirty and had hair in them. I stayed there for a week in Oct 2017 after my son passed and room was nice but the owner ( new owner now) was really rude and told me I must be a horrible person bc I was locked out of my room and did not want to wake my 16 year old child who had just lost his baby brother. When I askef him to open door to not wake my son he said I was rude to bother him. I explained my son was in the room and why I did not want to wake him. He then said I was not a good mother bc I must not of live with my kids if I was staying in a hotel when my son lived in that town. I was very upset and hurt that this man said such hurtful things to a mother who lost her 12 year old child day before!!!!!
THEY WERE VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY NICE PEOPLE but no. Wore shoes the entire time, AC was broken and made an awful noise. Dirt and smears all over walls.... stopped here on the way to FL to sleep and was out as soon as possible the next morning...My advice, read ALL reviews, not just the latest. Some of them I dont even understand how they got 5 stars.
Turn around or go a little further north. This place is disgusting. I would post my pictures if I knew how to. Moldy, mildew-y shower curtain, never cleaned tub, stained towels, I know the room hadn’t been cleaned, because there was a balled up sock on the floor. Blood stained pillowcase, dirty sheets. Just wanted to vomit. My husband, who typically doesn’t care, was even insanely grossed out. He woke me up in the night to tell me how sketched out he was.
They dont even deserve a star at all. The sheets were dirty, they had a flat sheet that was too small for the mattress over the plastic protector instead of a fitted sheet, the air conditioner filter was so nasty that I had to take it off and clean it in the bathtub so the room would cool, not one picture on the wall except dirty handprints, and holes in the bathroom and closet door. The tiles on the bathroom floor could be picked up and toted around ( were not glued down). There were no handicap bars anywhere including the shower. There was a white substance on the curtain in the bedroom that appeared to be old bodily fluids. I had to go buy disinfectant wipes because the refrigerator doors had to be snatched open from old dried coke that had never been cleaned up, now opens brand new. You could write messages on the mantle and tv in the living room the dust was so thick. And the counters in the kitchen had dried old red sticky candy substance all over it and bbq sauce in one area. They say kitchenette but that is a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot. Also they advertise free Wi-Fi and the do not have it. After midnight no one in the office answers the phone or the door. And they have no extra pillows or blankets. Im sure Im leaving things out, but you get the jist!!! Now they say this used to be American owned locally and was much nicer, so if you stayed there before, dont be fooled, times have certainly changed!! The carpet was smelly and stained, I bought spray, and I cleaned the dust up too and also the microwave and the counters. It would be the best time Ever to stay in room 206 right now, probably the cleanest youll ever get to see it. Oh they also allowed a drunk man to sleep on the picnic tables under pavilion where the grills were all weekend long. So you felt too uncomfortable to even go over there. The room was a cheap price but you get what you pay for. We found a roach in our food that was kept in the fridge. Found another one crawling in the fridge after. We threw out our food.Told the front desk person who said we could get 25% off our NEXT stay. He didnt offer to replace the food that was ruined by staying here..-quiet, quaint area-spacious single bed room-picnic area, volleyball court, garden-clean bathroom, towels, ect-scratchy sheets and pillows-soft sink too deep into type mattress-1 washing machine available for guests-BBQ place (unsure if open) and Sports bar next door
I highly recommend anyone stay here if youre in the area, but if youre traveling with your beloved pet, this is the only place to consider! They were very nice, however kept their distance, when saw the pet I travel with is a pitbull weighing over 80lbs. Ive had places say they welcomed pets, until seeing my dog. The managers here were great and if ever vacm jn th area ill stay here again.

Decent motel in the middle of no were,nice friendly Country Bar,The rooms wasnt upkept, spiders and spider webs easily located,bathroom visibly cleaned to the minimum, This place is a safe haven for bugs and crawlers.Nice on site owner. TRY THE BBQ around the corner.
After a trip from Alaska and numerous negative experiences this was a great place to hang out. In addition there is a bar just across from the motel and was a good place to eat and the barmaid was hot and a very helpful woman . Everyone very friendly and of course the motel is pet friendly at $10 per night the guy running the motel was very friendly.
The rooms are roach & bug infested, with old out dated furnishings & horrible WiFi service... Meth addicts walking around all times of day & night throughout the property, my car was broken in some time throughout the night, the property manager is non caring that anything can happen on the property & he wouldnt care a long as hes making money... This is not a place for families or small children.In fact while we was there staying even one of the other people that was staying there told that a young man died in room 214 from a overdose.I would NOT RECOMMEND !!!
I called this rat hole because my sister & her family were broke down on 75 including two young children. I wont even call this person a man . He initially told me he had several rooms, kept changing the rate AND told me he was sleeping & didnt care. Are you SERIOUS? !?Though based on the reviews AFTER trying to get my family to a safer place then the side if 75, I guess I should be THRILLED. Reading the reviews, Im not sure theyd not come home with a disease! !!!
This place is just amazing it is a small little hotel but with big rooms the staff are very friendly and nice. This hotel sit in a good spot you have the dollar general just a walk away you have 3 gas station and you also have a restaurant called the hot dog house they have very good food and the other thing is you are right down the road to highfalls and Indian springs if you like to go for a hike to go see some water falls this is where you need this hotel is the place you need to come for a night or a week even have a little thrift store and 5 stars is just not enough Ill have to give them more ,, 🌟🌟 🌟,🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 oh and there hot water is on point and yes the rooms are very clean
It was absolutely terrible. I have been on the road for 2 days, and I needed to use the restroom, it was a Sunday and it was after 8pm so everywhere was closed, I puled in to the lodge hoping the family out front would allow me to use the office restroom. When I asked to use the bathroom family members came out of nowhere yelling no they have no bathroom. At which point my boyfriend said something like cant you just let her use the bathroom everything is closed, and they started yelling and swearing at us in English first and then and their native language, they flipped us off and told us to get off their property when I asked where else would be open this late on a Sunday with a public bathroom. They have their children trained to run inside when white people show up... it is such a shame.This place was so rude, and probably only calls themselves a lodge so they can get a tax break on a large enough home for their entire family...
Actually very disappointed eith this place. It was my 2nd time staying at this place the other night but nothing like the first time I stayed overnight I actually went back online and book the room again for another night but after going to the front desk was told that I had to abide by the rules or he would not rent the room out against me for another night so I continue to ask what rules I had broken but the gentleman couldnt stop asking me what kind of business I had in his room and accusing me of not being in my room all night the night before he continued on to tell me that at his place after 8 p.m. maybe 9 p.m. you go in your room and stay in your room you do not come out of your room because it disturbs other guests remind you there was only one other guest in the whole hotel and they were above me and Loud all night long but what he was talking about was I had to come out of my room and take the trash can to the ice machine to get ice to put my milk on ice so it didnt ruin because the refrigerator was broken in the room yet I didnt want to disturb him being as it was about 10:30 at night when I realized it he said I was a liar and he watched me on the cameras and I was not there all night I left about 7 the next morning to take my husband to work and came back I didnt know when you rented a room you werent allowed to come and go as you choose will never return to this place dont waste your money
Cheap, but very clean. Huge room with fridge and microwave. Window opens up to trees and was extremely quiet. Was given a late check out, no charge. Good experience.
Called and asked if had room, the butt of a gentleman said yes, I asked how much, he said 58.99 I asked if that included tax. He said no, it was tax plus 5 dollar occupency. I asked him to please give me total cause driving, he then said no room your to much headache. I to much headache when I just asked him for the total.of the room would be. He needs to take classes in southern hospitality or move back to where he came from!!!!!!!!
Two queen beds, tons of space, a bit outdated and a little dirty, and the walls are thin, but for $50 plus taxes its alot better than most Days Inns Ive stayed in. If I was in the area I would definitely stay again.

Our beds were nasty, the coffee pot was corroded and nasty. The bathrooms were disgusting, someone used a key and attempted to open our door before 9 am. We were very displeased and it was overpriced.

It had good service, a nice clean room, the people upstairs woke us up though, stomping around in early early morning hours.
Beds are excessively firm, pillows fllat and they give you only one very thin coverlet. I actually had to go buy myself a blanket and pillow.

2022-04-19Did an extended stay here. Could be cleaner. Lots of crackheads like to stay here so the people who run it stare at you any time youre outside. Someone above us flooded their room and the water started leaking into our bathroom below. Huge mess. People screaming every week in their rooms, fighting. Besides that, the location is nice and its slightly cheaper than most motels. The younger guy who does all the work there and deals with everyone is very friendly and efficient, otherwise.

2022-03-26The staff are pretty decent. But the place has went to the dogs. The walls are filthy. Like just a good wipe down would go a long way . Its a perfect location for high falls . But the place is out dated . And I know this is the correct one . Im posting this as i am sitting in the parking lot. The couch In the room has white stains and marks all over it. Would be a great location if someone would actually take care of the place. The truly from this person that own it says the same thing every time. But I had photos I posted with the review . 😅 you might not find my reservation but I was there

2021-09-09Room is not clean, Rooms have a weird smell....stains on walls...toilet doesnt have a lid so good luck using those towels hanging in the bathroom....super flimsy comforter. The owners dad screamed at me from the 2nd floor to tell me where to walk my dog....which was literally the opposite of what his son had just told me but the man wouldnt stop telling at me till I went in another direction. Its super close to high falls....thats the best thing about it. Definitely not worth the price they charge.

2020-12-28Could stand a good scrubbing. walls and carpets need desperate cleaning. or replacing. we had our room for 2 days. the place was nice and quiet but a little soap on the walls and a good carpet cleaner or new carpet would be a good improvement. but overall, nice and roomy with less distraction if youre hiding away. check under Hawkins and youll find where we stayed. my receipt hasnt got the wrong info on it.

2021-08-06Checked in, the staff asked if we were going to have any visitors we said no, well people showed up anyway at 2:00 and 3 in the morning disturbing the other guest beside us they were knocking on the wall because the visitors were being too loud, after asking them to leave three different times I went to the staff management. He called my room cussed me out upon that he did call the cops to get them to leave. Its their hotel they should have handled it if they had a problem with people ringing Bell for service they should probably cut the light off.Upon this there was hair everywhere in the hotel bathroom was dirty sheets were not clean. I am a hotel assistant / housekeeper myself so I know exactly what to look for very disappointing will not be here again....EDIT:: Im not in the system because my bf checked us in, Ive lived in high falls for a long time 🤣 there is NO other hideaway lodging, so thats a lie 🤥I just cant believe yall did this, I used to stay here a long time ago. NEVER AGAIN! the only OTHER hotels are off of my exit which is 212 locust Grove. I recommend them, any of them! Just not this one....

2020-08-08I could have put worse then three stars, but I dont think that would be fair of me. Because it did serve the purpose. This was the first time I have stayed here, but, I will be honest the way I am, I probably wont be going back.1. The blinds was missing pieces of of spots so you could see in/out of the window.2.They didnt have the room darkening blackout curtains. ( Which thats just a preference anyways) so maybe not worth mentioning.3. Bed was not soft in the least.4. It was definitely not the cleanest.But that being said the price was fair, the a.c. was out if this world great, and I have seen worse. Like hotels with roaches, ect

2021-05-16Beautiful scenery!Don’t have any pics of the place but this place is definitely out dated.Needs a renovation but it was available. Towels were stained but you can tell its clean.I would stay here again only if I have no choice. Not that bad but needs a bit more passion.Plus, it kinda looks like people live there with broken refrigerators and old sofas in the patio. We just needed a place to rest.Good customer service tho.

2021-03-10Ive always love coming here because the people are real sweet and nice. No one bothers you and its right down the road from the water park and high falls state park. Its very quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for the hospitality and friendlyness.
