Checked in and the 1st floor was not ready as requested. On the 4th floor it smelled like wet carpet. The room I found someones soup in the fridge, toilets would not flush all the way. The TV only had 7 channels. Requested and paid for late check out. Housekeeping came in on my friend at 11:30am and said you need to leave. My friend explained that we were late check out and that we had reserved the room. Now mind you I verified at 6am. She packed up to be sent to the front to wait on me. The General manager comes down and says have you left? After responding ok. He says we have GA Power coming in today. Now let me speak of this. I am an award member, and yes Im from this state and I do know a lot of GA Power higher ups that would not tolerate thisFYI Im a traveling nurse here in Atlanta assuring during this snow storm my associates arrive on time.
This is an older hotel and the overall condition reflects as such. Water leaked in to the entrance portion of the lobby, my bathroom smelled if mold, and theres evidence of older water damages in the downstairs hallway ceiling. I do not recommend staying at this location
Despite the fact that I checked in on line AND gave my arrival time as 3pm AND even arrived almost one hour late, my room was not ready. I had to sit in the lobby with all of my luggage and wait for about 30 minutes.Upon checkout, however, they sure were diligent in making sure that I was out of there on time and even threatened to charge me extra if I didnt leave my room on time.Absolutely unacceptable!
I have never stayed in a Hilton Garden inn in such ill-repair. The large front concrete flower pots had only dirt and cigarette butts. Weeds all over the property. The front road hotel sign was dirty and needed to be pressure washed. The room door numbers were printed with paper and stuck to the doors. The lobby tables were old and water stained from cups and glasses. Lobby seats were dirty and stained. Baseboards were missing from many areas. The door to the room was cracked (rm 306). The water fountain in the front looked abandoned. The elevator panels needed paint or replacement. I was cheated out of Hilton points and money to stay.
Positive: The pool was broken. Paper room numbers. Breakfast was in a bag while other hotels had their continental breakfast open. It appears to look like they are getting ready to declare bankruptcy. Hardly full. Maybe 10% occupied. For the money, not worth it Negative: As I¿ve said above¿.they should have paid me to stay there. It was a sad property. Never again!
If you have experience at other Hilton properties or HGI, avoid this one if you can. Long story, short version: outdated bathrooms and old TVs, terrible breakfast options (currently), no water at check in for diamond, and more....... Book elsewhere is my recommendation from a decade old diamond member......
Everything was somewhat less than Id expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Room area had mostly been redone but that bathroom was old and not that well finished. Common areas werent that clean. Staff was OK but not that friendly. Even the landscaping was not maintained. Im most peeved by the lack of a real breakfast at this stage in recovery. Every other Hilton Ive stayed at for the past couple of months has renewed the normal breakfast. The selection here was substandard. The microwave breakfast sandwich tasted awful and the fruit looked old. The reason I went with 3 stars instead of 2 is that there is a Carrabbas restaurant next door thats awesome.
Stayed at this hotel because my daughters dance competition was just around the corner. Hotel lobby was nice and clean. We stayed for 2 days. There was a boxed breakfast which was good. They restroom in my hotel room needed some upkeep. The mirror had black marks all over it. The wall paper was peeling. The mini fridge only had 1 temperature which would freeze everything in it. The morning I checked out, 4 cars were broken into. When the police arrived they said it’s a pretty common occurrence. Wish the hotel had security.
Room windows will open on the 5th floor and no screens or anything to protect guest. We had 6 rooms in all, two rooms had toilet clogging issues and the staff just said they could not find the plunger. The pools were closed, we also had 5 children who were excited to swim in the pools which were closed,
Came here while my family was evacuating from a hurricane. The hotel was under construction but for all the work that was being done it was surprisingly clean and quiet. All staff I met were very nice and accommodating. I think the only issue we had was due to the construction the only room we could get had one bed and the pullout couch directly next to the bed. Which was fine but made it difficult for my five year old son who likes noise to ease him to sleep and my 68 year old grumpy mother who wants the room pitch black and dead quiet to make a compromise. The indoor pool was lovely and I really loved the breakfast setup in the morning!
Changing my review because we recently came back to stay after the manager made everything right. We had a pleasant experience since they’ve redone the rooms. It’s very nice inside, everything is updated and clean. They did put us in a handicap room and I’m unsure why unless it was just for 3 year old to have extra room to run around, but the shower situation was odd. Otherwise, I’d come back to stay again. Front desk was super helpful and friendly.
If I could give a 0 ☆ I would! We reserved 2 king rooms for Dec. 2020. When we arrived the front staff was unfriendly and very cold. Questions that had been asked over the phone when making the reservations and confirmed (a month prior to our stay) were asked of when checking in and we were told nothing was available of that sort for our party (i.e. the shuttle, etc). The room seemed clean upon arrival. We left to do some running around and dinner with friends. When we got back and attempted to get ready for bed we noticed bugs crawling on the counter in the bathroom. We called immediately down to the front desk and they moved us across the hallway. Bathroom was checked out and was ok. Turn down the bed only to find the wrong fitted sheet on the bed and the mattress exposed. By this time it was midnight and all we wanted was sleep ... we should have requested a new room as very little sleep was had. When we checked out the next morning the manager was at the front desk. I explained what happened and was disappointed at his response. This is a Hilton property for gods sakes, we paid extra for really bad accommodations and we will NEVER set foot in this hotel again. So very disappointing.

2022-05-25The staff and management is fantastic. This was my wedding weekend and we did a room block. The only reason I did not give it a 5 was the rooms were not as clean, the cabinets are dated and the hallway smelled bad. However those are minor corrections and not having the option to upgrade my room was disappointing due to renovation. Considering this was my wedding venues preferred hotel. I expected a little more but again the staff is so helpful.

2022-05-09This is an adequate place to stay, but dont think it will be a luxury Hilton experience. The breakfast is average and an additional $10 (youre better off going to IHop), the spa at the pool was lukewarm and the jets didnt work, our group experienced 3 stopped up toilets in two days, and my digital key worked only sporadically. I really expected more from the Hilton brand.

2022-03-13We booked the hotel room through booking.com which clarified that the breakfast is included. However, it costs $10 additional for the breakfast each day when we arrived. We missed two breakfasts during the stay. And called Bookong.com three times to resolve this issue, and we got partial refund, it took us 30-45 minutes each time. The property front desk was not able to resolve anything because their manager was not there. We were being told to call the manager on the next day after we checked out. The biggest issue in this property is the walls of the hotels are very thin. If you have trouble to sleep at night or you are very easy to be waken up, then you need to choose another property. The first night, I woke up because the neigbor couple argued around 1:00 am, the guy slammed the door. The second night there was a group of people talking and laughing loudly in the hallway around midnight. The hotel staff had to come over to end it. The last night we can clearly hear two conversations plus TV from our room. The noise ended around 1:00am. The most important thing for a hotel is to sleep well, unfortunately, we cannot get that when we were there.

2022-03-22Experienced roaches and kids volleyball team constantly slamming doors and someone smoking on the second floor. We asked for a manager and complained to three different employees and still havent spoken to a manager. I would not recommend this property as its the worse Hilton Garden Inn we have ever experienced.

2022-01-11Positive: Location Negative: This hotel is not like any other Hilton we have stayed at. The hallways were not level & it smelled like mildew. The room also smelled, and the bathroom had water damage to it. We stayed in 320 & it was not the best. The lady charged our card twice.

2022-03-20Although most of the staff was very friendly and accommodating, it was quite disappointing to find that ALL of the fitness equipment was broken and there was no one available to even attempt to repair it.As a Baby Boomer, in my mind the name Hilton had always been synonymous with very high quality/standards of hospitality & service but this experience has me wondering.

2022-01-21Was in Norcross for personal business. Carabas across the parking lot was great. Great food and spirits and within walking distance. Staff very friendly and professional. Breakfast nice but eggs cooked to order would have been nice as at other Hilton Gardens. With Covid I understand lack of certain amenities.

2022-01-24This is easily the worst Hilton property Ive ever visited. The room was dirty, the bathroom had bugs, the hallways and elevators were littered with towels and trash. I have photos. Dont stay here.
