Very nice place to walk around. Good eating places but you have to stop by Junk Drunk Jones. They have the coolest little store. A mix of new and old neat stuff and they even have candy and ice cream! The people there are so nice! Stop by and say hey to them!
First Friday Canton...
I went to First Friday. They had great music by the 293 band. A big crowd came out to have a good time.

Small park mostly used for concerts, farmers markets, holiday festivals and it is surrounded by lots of good restaurants.
Saw a group of people playing banjos, fiddles, guitars, and I had no choice but to go back and listen for a spell. Sounded good!!!!
Firstly let me say that this area is a pretty nice area with lots of good activities. But, and it is a big but, this is very far from a national park or City Park. This is basically a quarter to half acre piece of grass that has a gazebo on it. Theres not much else to it and theres not much else to review
Drove through downtown Canton last night. The Christmas lights were on through town and the square was beautiful. If you have not seen it during the holidays you should take a drive.

A great time today. Stopped by the knife sharpening booth leaving more knives to sharpen. He gets a great edge on our knives and scissors, a little cold flavored tea, peaches, etc. Beautiful weather, and the square was really hopping.😁

With my grandparents and Mother originally from Cherokee County I have seen Downtown Canton grow over the past 45 years... I look forward to the Dollar movies on Tuesdays at the Old Canton theater this summer! Im a little sad to find out that a chain like Panera Bread is coming in, but that should not hold back any of the fabulous local brick-and-mortar businesses like downtown kitchen, Queens, r&m hoagie shop, go and Coastal, chamber house, just to name a few of my favorite!
Such a beautiful, small, peaceful town with historic sites and very friendly people.
Excellent Farmers Market. Loved the garlic (Fire Garlic!) Peaches were excellent. Loudmouth Farm mushrooms are amazing!
Enjoyed the sight seeing. Very quaint not much to see. There is a theatre near by that was having a play and a few restaurants are in the area.
The City of Canton has done a remarkable job in improving Downtown Canton over the years. Every year it just gets better and better. What a beautiful place

Small little town in northern Georgia in Cherokee county.
I go there alot to just sit in my car and eat lunch if its cold or raining and sit at the gazebo on warmer days . Very relaxing!
The lights are pretty but the line to ride in the horse drawn carriage was over a 30 minute wait.
I love Cantons small town charm and am looking forward to seeing what comes in when some of these older buildings downtown are finished!

2022-03-26So quant and cute. Wish there were more shops like Southern Comforts. Or a few shops like Queen of Hearts. The shops there are nice. Key jewelry has unique finds. Great people there to help or fix your items. Love the downtown event, but get there early for these.

2021-03-06Dry cool area with lots of shops, restaurants and businesses. Very homey feeling. It’s already a cool place but you can tell this DT area is about to pop and become one of Atlanta metros newest hot spots for night lift.

2020-09-28Love it downtown! Food trucks, great restaurants, and shops! We stopped by Keys Jewelers to get my kinetic watch repaired and then walked a lap around town. Good times!
