Hobby Lobby in other cities:
We had our very old map shadowboxed at Hobby Lobby after doing a lot of shopping around. We loved Jessica right off the bat and knew our old map was in good hands. They did an exemplary job and we couldnt be happier. You could tell that a lot of tlc went into it. I highly recommend them.
I love Hobby Lobby! Its has lots of different items such as, toys, art supplies, home decor and more. The lines arent usually long at this location and the employees are great. It has a calm and quiet environment, allowing me to focus on what I need. I highly recommend going here.
I have to admit that Hobby Lobby is such a fun store. If you need framing, materials to make something, crafts, something for your home or office this is the place to visit. They tend to have specials deals going on from time to time. I only gave it 4 stars because they had crosses in one section and I had to go all over the store looking for the other crosses. They also dont open on Sundays. Fun place for gift ideas. Will be going back soon.
Nice place! They will always get my money. I just browse not planning to buy but man o man, they know how to nearly place items and attract ones attention. I especially like the sales and mark downs. They have almost everything for the decorating needs. Crafty and creative ideas will flow as you browse. Check out their app too. Helpful before you head over if you have some time. The sales people are usually very helpful as well.
The people in the store are not professional at all I’m constantly asking for help no one says how I am doing do you need anything it’s over 12 workers they are watching what I’m doing we’re not willing to help me I’m not gonna say it would’ve made myself and other people in the uncomfortable I was not the only black person that was being ignored
Despite being under constructive remodeling, their organization, display of items, and merchandise was still on point. Slightly less inventory out during this temporary setback, but not to worry, it will be back stocked in excess. Great help from employees. Friendly atmosphere.
Light and bright, pleasant feeling, Christmas songs playing. Neat and room to get around but most of all they have great selections from low to high budget selections to choose from. A happy, fun place for creative people or those who want a craft hobby. Employees are pleasant and helpful. I would work there if I could.
Bought 1000.00$ worth of Circut items including the EasyPress 2, while at the register checking out the manager explains the return policy that there really isnt one except if the machine doesnt work. Well guess what it doesnt work. I go back less than 24 hrs not wanting to return it but to exchange it for one that does work and I get told that the only way to exchange is if they are able to put it right back on the shelf and sell it. Somewhere in all of this I was lied to and needless to say they did not exchange the broken item with a working item like I was told they would do the day before.
Hobby Lobby was one of my favorite places to shop pre pandemic. However, I was very disappointed a week ago. Was shopping for a large church project. At the Mableton store, we bought floral supplies which were advertising 50% off all floral. However, there were floral items that they refused the discount saying they were seasonal. We argued that they were in the 50% section. They disputed. So we took a picture. But they still dishonored the discount. We also were going to buy 2 black vases @59.99 each. We bought over $500.00 worth silk flowers after the 50% off certain items. Then we went to the Cumberland store and they advised that churches get an additional 10% off. And the same 2 vases that we decided not to get cost 39.99 at the Cumberland store. Do not understand the discrepancy.
So much options, I dont think I ever shopped at hobby lobby before, but will definitely consider doing so for my fashion and sewing needs. I was looking for an assortment of colors of all purpose thread and although they didnt have any, one of the workers advised me the individual threads would be half off if I return next week. I will probably end of ordering a pack from amazon, but I appreciated the tip and will return for other needs.
Loved the amount of different types of decor. Boxes, wall hangings, holiday decorations, from faux flowers taller than me to super soft fabric with the falcons logo to DIY kits - the store has an awesome array of selections. I was disappointed with the art section, I was expecting more art supplies than they had available. The store was neat, the clerks friendly, and the store was particularly busy when I visited. Very impressed.
They have a plethora of fabrics, decorations, art supplies and more. There’s so much to choose from. However, customer service isn’t that great. Some employees are a bit rude. Asked an employee a question and they rolled they’re eyes right in my face. They also don’t take the pandemic very seriously. I can only account for a handful of employees who had masks on every time I saw them. Although very nice, even who I ASSUME is the manager or someone of some high authority, wasn’t wearing a mask. One woman was even being rude to a fellow employee. Great prices and inventory but they need to hire some new employees.
I love this place and what they do. I get all of my packaging for my hair customers from here. I really need to check into getting these container boxes at wholesale because of my customers love it and I do too. there are a lot of neat items inside of hobby lobby and its very inexpensive. Whether you just need something to dress up your place or youre looking for something to accent your business products this is the place for you. Ive also bought candle making materials from here which is very soothing when I light a candle of my own making.
We took our grandson there for his eighth birthday. Hes artistic and makes great use of his art supplies. Because Hobby Lobby offers so much to choose from, his biggest challenge was making choices and remaining within his birthday budget. He did great, learned a little about money management, left Hobby Lobby happy with his spoils, and looks forward to going back.
I appreciate the deals that hobby lobby has to offer. This makes shopping sho much easier. I love the quality of product you get from here. The return and exchange process is not complicated (great because I had to exchange this weekend). The staff is also very friendly. The main thing that I strongly dislike is that every item had to be manually keyed in. I saw scanner guns at each register, but no one used them. That made checkout a longer than normal process. Great place to find supplies for a craft project or cute items to decorate your home and office. First stop for seasonal decorations. The prices are reasonable. Dont forget to use your coupon!Wonderful, helpful staff. There is fabric and picture framing here too.Closed on Sundays.
I am always charged full price for items that are in the weekly ad. The cashier looks at the sale paper and charge me full price every time. I have to look at my receipt and get back in line to get my money back. It never fails. I won’t be returning to your store. The East-West connector store is horrible.
Great place to find little arts and crafts for the kids and decor. However, the woman’s restroom is the nastiest place I have ever had the displeasure of having my daughter use. The toilet paper rolls are on the floor, sinks are always broken, walls have feces on them, toilets are installed wrong , doors do not close, and the lighting is awful. Never had a problem with any other Hobby Lobby store. Obviously the store is great, but management needs to step up with these restrooms.
The cashiers here are awesome, and honest. Some of the customers are snooty and unnecessary in the snobbery department, but these ladies cant help that. Every time I have a crafting question, I can easily find someone who is willing to teach or research and learn along with me. Love it!
I usually shop at Hobby Lobby when looking for items for my childrens science fair projects. I searched everywhere for a real Christmas Tree but had no luck. Reluctantly, my boys and I decided to buy an artificial tree. We went to several stores in the area and again no luck. Hobby Lobby was on the way home so we decided to stop. They had beautiful trees and they were on sale for 66 percent off. They had everything for Christmas! I was in Christmas decor heaven. My boys picked a tree and it already had lights on it! I was so excited. Less work for me. I love my artificial tree. I received so many compliments on it when family and friends came for Christmas dinner. Hobby Lobby saved the day!
If youre a projects person, this is your place. They have TONS of decoration/crafts/fabric options and they always have good sales. So when going there, be ready to spend a good amount of time browsing throughout the store... And be careful not to go over your budget...
Wonderful place and very helpful employees too. Nancy helped me on the phone after someone else put me on a long hold and she did not ask me much about the product. Nancy found them right away. And Gevin helped me, once I got to the store and he was so nice and helpful too. Was a 5 star experience!
This place is like Candyland for me! Its a great place for people who have a creative mind. You can find so many things in one place and thats whats great about it. Staff members are very helpful and very knowledgeable. Once you step foot inside this store you cant help but be inspired.
I love shopping at this store. However, the cashier wasnt friendly enough for me. I asked him if an item was on sale and he told me that it wasnt. I asked him if he was going to input the code to ensure that it wasnt. He insisted that it wasnt and didnt enter the code so I could see for myself. Then as he finished my transaction, the lady behind me pushed her items on the counter before I could finish moving mine out of the way and into the basket. The cashier began scanning her items and didnt say thank you, have a good day or anything. This was the first time experiencing anything like this in this score. I was very disappointed.
I love the fabric selection here but the only thing that makes my experience here bad is one of the ladys who cuts the fabric. (Ms Silver). She always does things in a bad mood. Today when I went in she questioned how much fabric I was getting when she didnt even know what I was doing with it, once I told her though her frown got bigger as she knew she was wrong.I love it when Ms Maria is in to cut our fabric. Shes the sweetheart that always helps you out and answers your questions.
Its not what it seems, or tries to be on the surface. If you want a facade of christianity run by less than savory characters behind the scenes, go ahead and support this location. The employees are great to be around, great to work with, but once you hit store manager and up, morality and integrity are the last things that come to mind. Cant say much for the other stores, dont have experience with them.
I am an artist, art student, and elementary teacher, and when I need supplies for my classroom, this is the best place to go when its on the coupon roster. However, finding those items can create a problem. When asking about linoleum blocks to a salesperson, they had no idea what I was talking about (printmaking! p-r-i-n-t-m-a-k-i-n-g!) and told me that they didnt have any. The next time I went, I found that they had their own part of an aisle and that they had MANY materials! None of the people who work here are very knowledgeable about processes and/or materials. The check out lines are also horrific because theres generally only one person working the register at a time. BE SURE TO CHECK THE COUPONS ONLINE BEFORE YOU GO! They have sales changing every week and its good to get the materials you need... if you can find them.
I go here for last minute sewing supplies as Joanns is a 45min drive from my house and this is 5. Sucks that theyre closed on Sundays, and their prices are pretty high. I also wish the company as a whole would get with the times and be more digital both in the app end and the in-store retail end (check out is always slow).
Terrible experience today at this store. Not enough cash registers open. Waited in line forever to pay while 6 people after me paid & left. Woman in front of me paid with a check, the cashier had no clue how to process it. Manager was standing at the next register and never offered to assist the cashier or to speed things up or to assist in anyway. I finally left my cart full of items and walked out and will never go to the store again!
Lost my wife in here. Setup camp in the painting aisle. It’s been 3 days and I still can’t find her. I expected a search and rescue squad by now but still nothing. The zombies roaming the aisles are terrifying and alternate between mindless shuffles and excited squeals when they find some new craft to consume. I thought I saw another survivor but it turned out to be a mannequin. I took it with me and named it Taylor. So cold and running low on starburst. I fear I don’t have much time left.
As the closest hobby store in the area, it’s passable. They usually have what you need when it comes to crafting but it’s more helpful for yourself if you are already familiar with where items are in the store. The staff (which is ever changing) does not always know where their specialty items are and it’s not helped by the fact that people tend to leave items they’ve picked up while shopping in other areas. The big drawback with this location: YOU WILL HAVE NO INTERNET. WiFi/4g—all that—it will not work. So if you need to download a coupon (like the famous 40% off one) do it before you get in the store or print it out and bring it with you. Otherwise, you’ll be “that person” holding up the checkout line waiting for google to load so that you can get 40% of your pack of markers.
Visited this store 2 days in a row and purchased some items at regular price not 1 time did the cashier bring to my attention about coupons they have online I felt like that should of been mentioned to me not all your customers are regulars so a simple hey if you go on our website we may have a coupon that you might be interested in would of been nice a customer in line told me about it.Other than that cant complain
I really dont appreciate the customer service employes give you at this location. I needed some fabric, so I ask the old lady that was there to cut some for me. Her answer was, when Im finish doing what Im doing. She was writting something on a paper. I said , yes maam. So I went to look for another item I needed. and I guess when she was done, she was standing there with her arm on her waist looking at me crazy. I ask, are you done now? No ans. from her. She cut the fabric when she felt like it. Rude lady. They dont know how to greet or used nice words.
Lady at the register named Ashlee was very rude when we told her we didn’t need an object, we got it in case we needed the price for the other similar objects. She huffed and puffed and said “oh my god!” And the threw the object in a buggy. Please stop making customers not want to come to the store because of you.
If they leave old sale signs on they wont honor it like theyre supposed to. a employee by the name of Linda S. Will treat you like youre stealing when it is the stores fault for not updating their signs. The one in Hiram is farther but at least you know you wont be treated like youre stealing.

2022-07-15Deane was SO nice and helpful. Not only was he so friendly while checking me out, I also got to see him help other customers in front of me. It’s hard for cashiers to make a strong impression because the time they speak to you is so short, but Deane’s helpfulness and positivity was a pleasure and really made my day bright!

2022-05-01The store did not have many or any quantities of products available online. Store was not busy and seemed to have plenty of staff at the front, but they were not willing to help me locate what I was seeking. Seemed like a better idea to shop online.
