Great experience. Excellent service. Delicious and hot food served promptly with a smile. Well crafted cocktails. Management obviously doing a super job with selecting, training and caring for their staff during these pandemic times. The live music was nice too. Were oming back soon!
We enjoyed the food and the service was very good. The ambiance is a little too open and noisy for our taste. Probably a great place for a party but not so much for a date night. The evening we were there they had live music. The music was very good but we literally had to shout at one another to be heard.
Nice atmosphere, Wish chef would take a walk through some seasonings. food was rather bland... be brave chef, Dont have to make it hot just flavourful.. Ground beef by itself is really plain. If you like South of the border cuisine without a lot of spice, this is your place.
Just an over-rated place for the area. The food here is average, how about a Mexican place that does Mexican rice wrong !!Their salsas are tasty, though they only provide one small bag of chips during delivery with no option to upgrade/add more. When dining in, their drinks, salsa and service is the only saving grace.Overall, there are definitely better Mexican places in terms of food/service/vibe in the Roswell/Alpharetta area.
I was working a Solo at Cloud 9, and my store ran out of drinking water, so I called over and just asked for a cup of water, mans said gotchu be right there and now my thirst is quenched. Shout out to that guy, I wish I got his name, but irregardless service is 11/10 here, pretty good if you ask me 🤙
Love, love this restaurant! The food is always delicious. The place is clean and well tended. They go above and beyond to be accommodating too. And if you go regularly, you are remembered and greeted. Love when this happens!! Did I mention the food? ‘Cuz it is amazing!
We had a large group (25+) at this restaurant last night for dinner. The service was excellent. Polite and timely. My food was excellent. I had the shrimp tacos. Loved it. The guacamole was very good. Everyone raved about it. I would classify it as more of an authentic style Mexican food as opposed to the Tex Mex... at least in my opinion. All of us had individual tickets and our server had them cleared in no time. He was all smiles, which considering the size of our group, was remarkable. The venue is a little on the loud side... not because of music, but rather voices echoing off tile and stucco... but thats minor in my opinion considering all the other positives. It was fun. It is not inexpensive... but everything is high right now in 2022 with inflation. I give this one a very solid four stars. I live on the other side of town, so I would go as a destination from where I live (there are lots of very good Mexican restaurants closer to home) but I would certainly go back if I were in Roswell or Alpharetta and am happy to recommend.
We have passed this restaurant soo many times and have never dined there. Today we were looking for a place to eat at in Roswell that had gluten-free options and this restaurant popped up with many positive reviews. We decided to try it out and were pleasantly surprised by what a great looking restaurant it is, excellent service, a very flexible menu and excellent wait staff! Our server Miguel was super friendly, attentive and accommodating! This will definitely be our go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. So glad to have found this little gem!
I got a steak taco and shrimp taco on a flour tortilla. The shrimp was ok , they did put enough sauce. The steak taco had no flavor at all, so I had to add salsa and ask for pico. I really enjoyed my pomegranate sangria and queso dip. I wasnt too happy about the cleanliness of the floor, specifically under the tables. We had to ask for some to clean under our table because there was food and salsa all over the floor. They had some other interesting items on the menu I wanted to try, I might go back but not really sure.
Menu is not very flexible for substitutions for vegetarians. The pork belly taco was way overcooked and lacking flavor. The server wasnt very attentive. The mexican pizza was burnt and not cut in a way that was easy to share. While they do have a diverse menu, the quality is lacking.
This place used to be a great place, today I experienced bad food , bad service , and no apologies . I had poblano chicken dish with burnt cheese on the entire bottom of skillet , no chorizo was forgotten, the waiter disappeared forever and I had to go inside to get someone to find him to fill my empty glass. I explained the food was not good when I asked for the check . No apologies just a check. I just called asked for a manager at 2 pm and was told to call back at 5pm to talk to Carlos . Not a manager in the restaurant to handle a complaint .
It was our first time here and honestly we were very disappointed we were not greeted by anybody we ordered margaritas they were horrible I ordered tacos my tortillas were cold and breakable. The restaurant was dirty floor is very cracked doesn’t even seem like it’s in Roswell, and the servers had no personality they were just there doing a job, basic service no cohesiveness in the staff no uniforms very unprofessional will never be back .
Had lunch there today with my wife. I went there expressly to eat the enchiladas suizas, a favorite of mine for many years, made famous by Sanborns restaurants in Mexico City. Sorry, not even close. These were dry and almost lacking the tomatillo sauce and melted cheese that makes this dish so rich at Sanborns. A pale imposter, IMO. The black beans and corn sides were good however. My wife ordered the lamb birria tacos. Not even close to birria, sorry. The lamb was dry, without the birria sauce and there was no broth to dunk the taco in. Another imposter. The drinks were excellent, however. I had a skinny margarita. We both liked the ambiance and the layout of the restaurant. It would be a great place to get some drinks and sit outside in warm weather, perhaps with some salsas or guacamole. I can’t recommend the food, though. Primarily because it was far from authentic and it felt like being fooled by a bait and switch scam. The chips and salsa were very good, however.
I love this place! My husband says is far away and he best Mexican Food in Roswell. The place it’s so charming, the people so easy going and friendly. The special are outstanding. And the oreo churros... beyond words! Definitely, we will be going back soon! And I almost forget about the cheese dip, it didn’t make it to the picture because it was so good that we couldn’t resist ourselves! Update: you have to try their new drink, it’s so smooth, it’s a perfect dessert drink. We’re becoming addicted to this place!
One of My Favorite Go-To Lunch Places in the Roswell, GA Area.I usually have lunch here a few times a month. The food is consistent and I usually order one of the lunch combos. Both the ground beef and chicken tinga options are very good. The house margaritas are also a solid option for after-work drinks. They go great with the queso dip.The service is the reason for only 4 out of 5 starts. Depending on what server you get, and how busy the place is - the service can either be exceptional, or you are left to flag down a server - trying to get someones attention.Google Local Tip: This place is great at modifying food items as requested.
I went here for lunch with a friend because weve both driven by Hola on Holcomb Bridge soo many times. The ambiance feels like a lunch place and the quality of the food and variety of the menu feels like dinner. That said, our meals were excellent and full of flavor. We were served chips and salsa to start. The chips were thin and crispy and the salsa was excellent. We both ordered the tacos for lunch. Our meal included 2 tacos and you get to mix and match from a variety of tacos that arent your typical Mexican simple beef or chicken. I had a steak taco and a shrimp taco on flour tortillas with a side of cilantro rice and a salad all for $12. My friend ordered a veggie taco and a chicken taco on corn tortillas. Her one comment was that the corn tortillas should be doubled because they tend to rip. The restaurant was reasonably crowded for lunch but not loud and the service was attentive. I will definately return for lunch or dinner. This might be my new go to place for Mexican.
I liked this place a lot! Nice patio and outdoor bar seating. My husband and I got the Mexican pizza which was listed as shareable and it was. Great size for two and very delicious. I didn’t give 5 stars because of service, it wasn’t terrible but the waiter wasn’t very attentive. I will return
We went on a Thursday night with a rather big group. It was great. The margaritas tasted great and were potent. For food I had ordered the chicken burrito and it tasted great. Others in the group also enjoyed their food. The service was great too. Our server took great care of us even though we were a large group. Will surely visit again.
I had made reservations for a larger party 4 days in advance and they were happy to take my reservations. We showed up 10 minutes early and they had not only given our table away but the hostess was so rude to our entire party even when we were trying to be kind to her and figure out a solution. I was really disappointed because we were excited for our staff Christmas party dinner here.Update: added a star because our wait staff was incredible and so kind. I just wish the hostess would have given a better first impression of the restaurant.
Sat at the bar which was crowded, restaurant was not. Poor bartender was overworked and not supported. Order drinks and appetizer and a meal. Meal came before the appetizer. Requested more salsa, it never came. Ask for more chips for the appetizer, they never came. Service is definitely lacking. Management was present but not involved. Nothing like previous visit. If this had been my first I would definitely never return.
Was here yesterday. We used to frequent this place a few years ago and I remember the food being great, portion and quality.2 stars because our particular waiter and the drinks were GREAT!! But ultimately you go to a restaurant to eat and it was a real disappointment. The queso fundido was burnt so badly we could smell it coming out of the kitchen and when they served it to us we could taste the burnt in it. We ordered a regular cheese dip because we know things happen and we just wanted to enjoy the time and keep things moving. The queso was ok. The brisket tacos were flavorless and not just dried, some of the meat was dried (lacking in moisture) but also crispy not from being over cooked but from just sitting there. The asada taco was good and was probably the only thing we could really say saved the day. I am sad to say I would not recommend and will probably not come back. This place used to be good.
Decent food but terrible service. SO SLOW! 20 + minutes for drinks. When we arrived it wasnt even very busy and the service was awful. One person in our party of four received the wrong order. Ordered grilled chicken tacos but received fried chicken. It didnt improve at all during our visit. I doubt wed ever go back.
The food is great but one thing they probably dont get recognized enough for is their healthy selections! I eat a keto lifestyle and am good at finding what on a menu I can remove to fit my lifestyle but at Hola theres no need. A lot of their items have multiple selections for your tortilla including a lettuce wrap. Unlike many other Mexican restaurants they give you a large selection of sides to choose from verses standard beans a rice. I love that a side salad is an option and would like to say I order that everytime but they have the most amazing yucca fries with a Chipotle mayo. I let all my family members try a bite and even a picky 6 year old was sold (just dont tell him it isnt made from a potato). Theyre just too fantastic and I get a double batch every visit instead of a side salad and something different.
Me and my girlfriend frequent this place often. The food is really great and fun environment with live music sometimes. I’m only giving 4 stars because we tried to dine in one night and walked in at 9:23 pm. They refused to seat us because they were closing at 10 pm. This was pretty crazy to me and no they were not overly busy with plenty of tables open. But overall we enjoy the food and service here.
BARTENDER ILLEGALY MODIFIED/DOUBLED HER TIP AMOUNT. I did not want to leave a bad review, but after reaching out to mgt. w/ no response I will not return to HOLA due to this one Bartender during lunch service. She was not friendly or happy we were there. We were one of two customers in her area and she was more interested in getting us to leave than engage us.
This is the first time Ive ever been inclined to write a review on any restaurant. My husband and I visited HOLA for the first time tonight. We were literally blown away. We had the most amazing date night! Our server was outstanding: very present and helpful. We ordered the dip trio (queso, guac, salsa verde) and the portions were HUGE. very, very worth the money. House Marg was strong and delicious. We split the shrimp quesadilla and between that and the dip trio we were stuffed! And to topIt all off, we received a complimentary dos XX beer for whatever reason. The atmosphere was chill, every staff member was helpful, the food came quickly, and we had a great time. Thank you so much!
My wife and I really love HOLA and frequent them regularly. Great people, terrific staff, great food at a reasonable price.Normally I would give them a solid FIVE star review, however their recent interior lighting ‘upgrade’ has really put us off. It’s incredibly BRIGHT in there now, so much so you feel like you’re on a set of Good Morning America. Sadly, not a place women would want to be taken on a date now because of the unflattering harsh lighting, but an easy fix: A DIMMER!Still will put up with the lighting, but we’ll keep it to daylight hours and camp at the outdoor bar with our sunglasses on.
Although it has been around for many years, we have never visited this place but have noticed this place has always been packed (packed parking lot and/or full outdoor seating). Recently we finally paid a visit to this place, and it wasn’t disappointing! It was a pretty solid end-to-end dining experience.Positive:- Nice interior decor- Our server was very energetic and friendly- Food was very tasty and delicious and well plated- Food portion was reasonable (considering the slightly higher-ish food price)- Pace of service and the frequency our server checked with us- Speed to process the payment- Last but not least, free chips and salsa (brown/roasted)!Negative:Not any really. We were there on a Wednesday evening around 5:30pm. By 6pm, nearly the whole dining room was full. Now after finally visiting them, we can totally understand why this place is always so busy and it will definitely be on the top of our list when we are craving for Mexican food!
Food is always good here and the service, but last night our dining experience was horrendous. There was a female violin player there playing with amplified music. There were no outside seats, it was evident why. You could no even carry on a conversation with you table. The songs were so high pitched it gave me a headache. Not the music you would expect in a Mexican restaurant. Please consider NOT having music like this again.
Came here last weekend and it was the worst takeout Mexican I have ever had . Needless to say it’s no where near authentic. Got fish tacos and smelled so fishy opened the taco and it was the tiniest sliver of fish making all that stank. It was tasteless and the sides were just as bland . Mexican street corn my ass😒 place should seriously be ashamed of the quality of their takeout. I was so excited to try this place because when I drive by it’s always packed . Lol not everything that glitter is gold.
Sorry, l see all the great reviews, but we were really disappointed in the lack of flavor in the rice and main dishes, l got barbacoa and my wife got chicken enchiladas. The beans were very good. The ancho chili margarita and jalapeño margarita were great, as was the house spicy salsa which was a 50 cent up charge for 2 tablespoons.I’ll come back for the drinks, but not the food.
Weve been to Hola several times and have always enjoyed ourselves, but the service we received today from Juan M. was exceptional. He was incredibly attentive and friendly leading up to a very sudden, very heavy rainstorm that hit as we sat on the patio with our infant son in tow. Juan offered to grab the car seat while we collected our belongings and rushed inside. He offered a table and to remake our soaked food and drinks. He also spent time explaining their delicious salsa as were about to make some from scratch. Im already a fan of the restaurant but will absolutely return to request Juan.
The food was great. We ordered steak fajitas and al pastor tacos. The downside was the servicewas really slow. We had to go to host stand after 10 min of being sat to get a server. We finally got a server and it took about 20-30 min between him checking on us to get him to come back to us. Our margaritas got to the table at the same time as the appetizer.
Fantastic dining experience! Tasteful dishes, detailed preparation, hot fresh ingredients, well crafted drinks. Service team diligent, courteous, and knowledgeable. GM Mr Jose is exemplary, leading and coordinating, and building relationships with patrons with keen listening and delivering expectations. Highly recommended. Live musician Monday Violin outstanding.
The atmosphere of this place is amazing, the music is fresh and the decoration on point. The food was tasty and the portions generous. We had tacos, chimichangas and fajitas but definitely the best plate was the queso, its a must. Margaritas are pretty good, especially a house special made with ginger syrup. The service was the best part of the evening, the manager Jose Eff took care of everything that night, we even got dessert on the house!Definitely will come back when Im in town.
This place is one of my faves! The Mexican pizza changed my life. I usually get it half chicken and half steak. Its so good and a great portion size! The bartender Savannah makes the best drinks! Itried to post a picture but I can see to figure out how to attach it to this review. Anyways, she always makes sure the experience is great!
We had lunch on the patio at Hola last Friday. Despite the 90° weather the fans and mist made it quite comfortable. We ordered lamb and salmon tacos. The lamb was exquisite! We enjoyed the salmon as well.We were somewhat disappointed in the frozen margueritas. However, the service was excellent and the overall experience was quite good. We plan to return for more of the delicious lamb!
Had an amazing experience here! Not only was the food amazing, but the customer service was phenomenal! Savannah the bartender there is very attentive, made sure we had everything we needed and Made sure that our DRINKS were on point. I didn’t know what I wanted to drink and she suggested some drinks for me .10/10 would recommend! Ask for Savannah when you come!!!!
Came here to pick-up a go-to order. The vibe inside was nice with live music. Pretty crowded on a Saturday night.Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas were fantastic. Highly recommend. The corn I got on the side was meh. Almost like it came straight of the cob with a slight hint of jalapeno flavoring. They should just remove this from the menu. Black beans were fine I guess.Queso appetizer was pretty standard as well.Id come back for sure
I’m just love a place with awesome drinks and wonderful food, and most times its hard to get that both from one place but HOLA! proved me wrong. The passion fruit margarita was delicious, you could taste every single ingredient without one overpowering the other, the carne asada tacos were great as well along with the complementary chips and sauce, yum. I love eating different Mexican cuisines and they just made my top 3 list. Whoever haven’t tried here need too. You wont regret it.
My wife and I have been eating here since they opened! Seriously the best quality food...many wonderful options and flavors. Miguel is our favorite server! He is super fast, very friendly, and good. He makes our super enjoyable. We do love everyone here though - just an awesome place.
The chicken nachos took me by surprise and that fish bowl margarita makes everything OK. Great staff. Great experience. Outdoor seating is a nice touch in todays time. It would have been nice to have seat a bit more separated for social distancing but otherwise, it was a top notch experience for me. I ate them too fast to take a pic....Ill add one later...
I’ve been to Hola several times and enjoyed the experience, but recently my family and I had a top notch experience! Chips and guac we had as an appetizer were excellent. We were consistently waited on my our server Miguel R., and he gave us good suggestions on what sides we should try with our meal. Carne asada, chicken, and shrimp tacos were excellent, and the chicken burrito was also delicious! We will be back soon!
Hola was busy! We were seated with 4 adults and two young children with limited attention spans. We were patient- recognizing that the restaurant was unusually busy- but Miguel quickly noticed we had not yet been served, and sent the manager over to offer comp cheese dip, promptly brought water to the table, and started taking our orders (though we were clearly not in his section). He memorized orders- each of which unfortunately had some kind of edit- but everything arrived promptly, with every edit accounted for. He was hustling- I saw the man jog more than once! But each time he arrived at the table Miguel offered a warm smile, and he even had some well-timed jokes for the group. Miguel is incredibly hospitable, and Hola is fortunate to have him on their team! The food and drinks were great, but the service was above and beyond. Will definitely be back, but will ask to be seated in Miguel’s section!
We have ordered food from here via Uber eats many times and always enjoyed it. But this was second time dining in and service is painfully slow. They clearly are seating more people than they are able to service properly. Food took about an hour. We ran out of chips and it was forever before waitress finally checked on us to refill. The crab and shrimp enchiladas that we have gotten every time were not nearly as good. We will not be returning anytime soon.
HOLA! Taqueria & Bar is one of the best restaurants in North Georgia. Great food, good portions, inviting atmosphere, positive experience all around.Shout out to Richard and Mary Angela! They are so kind, provide the most amazing service, and always remember to say hello to our son, who clearly remembers them as well!We have gone multiple times and have NEVER been disappointed by the food, service, or friendliness felt here. Keep up the good work, we will see you next week ;)
Atmosphere is cool, even had live music but food was pretty bad. I had al pastor tacos, pork was dry and flavorless. I had a jalapeños margaritas, it had no flavor, its like they just threw in pepper in a drink. Friends had pork belly taco, super salty almost unedible. Other firend had steak fajita no quac, steak was cook good but only 5 piece of meat not worth it.
I had stopped by for dinner and drinks at the bar the night of 2/25/21. Was quickly surprised to see the female bartender not only not wearing a mask, hair down, but also drinking a margarita and smoking an e-cigarette with no reservations in front of everyone sitting at the bar! Im not sure what kind of place this is and I dont expect much, but really? Was quite embarrassed to have suggested to go to this place. I will not be back.
It was a Friday night and packed! Staff wore proper attire for social distancing and seating was properly spaced. We had some issue with service when we first got there, 20 minutes to get a drink and our order taken, but once we spoke to management, Juan our waiter made it right from there. Great food, great cocktails and huge thanks to Juan for saving the day and allowing us to have a great Friday evening out.
What an experience!! The food is amazing, I would highly recommend the Fajitas if you want a meal that is out of this world. The drinks are spot on, and Savannah does a great job at going above and beyond to make sure the drinks are perfect and that every visit is TERRIFIC!!Can’t wait to go back!
Ordered a beef burrito & got a burrito filled with ONLY grilled onions! My server, Juan M, proceeded to tell me he knew what I ordered & that was in fact a burrito with only onions (first of all, WHO IN THIER RIGHT MIND ORDERS A ONION ONLY BURRITO???? ) instead of remaking my order after I TRIED to send it back, he refuses to send back this grilled onion in a tortilla mess & proceeds to hand me a side of ground beef. Because he wanted me to make my own burrito. First & WORST experience by far! Will not be returning. Awful customer service.
My husband and I have been coming here for several years from Woodstock, always our go to Mexican restaurant. I have raved to our family and friends and spent many a birthday celebrations here. My hubby and I came in tonight to find higher prices and less food 😫(uplifting)
We had a great time at HOLA! Their service is great, they were very patient while we decided on what to order. The manager, José, is very kind, he made us feel like if we were visiting a friend’s home.We had ceviche and cheese dip as appetizers, both were super good, and we had the Molcajete as the main course. Wow, the meats were very juicy and tender, the vegetables and other elements in it were also spectacular. To close the night, we had the Oreo churros, I can’t even describe how delicious they were, they come with Nutella, Omg, so yummy.Although there’s construction right next to the restaurant, there are parking spots in the back, just be patient, it’s totally worth it!
This used to be my favorite place. I loved the food and drinks here. However, ever since reopening after the Covid shut down it has been terrible all around. I have gone here 3 times lately and have not seen any improvement. The service is terrible. Took forever to greet, didnt get the order right, forgot items repeatedly, and generally ignored the table. The food has also gone down hill. It used to be amazing, fresh and well cooked. Now its an upgraded Moes. There are much better places nearby.
After the Quarentine we have not been out to eat at restaurants for safety but this weekend we decided to go out and give Hola Taqueria a try and we were so happy we went there. The food was amazing, they had live music outside, the staff were working extremely hard to follow the CDC and government guidelines. We felt very safe and comfortable eating there. Everyone was very busy but they ensured we had our food on time. I loved this place I highly recommend it. Jose was very attentive and this other guy who told us he was from Venezuela. Really great place and people.
This could get updated depending on when I receive my order. I ordered from their website and as of right now it is 45 minutes late.Updated. The bag of food arrived 45 minutes late. Unsealed as per usual Covid protocol. Food cold. I don’t know about others but I’ve never had good cold Latin food. First and last time ordering from Hola.#disappointed
Worse Mexican food ever. Ground meat tasted like just browned without any seasoning. They messed up our order and then told us we picked the wrong plate. The food was delivered to us and we asked twice if it was the right dish. They did not bother to rectify the situation. Drinks were terrible. Overall not great at all. Not sure why it has high ratings.
Spectacular food. The menu is a unique cheffy twist on traditional Mexican food without being weird, too upscale or straying too far from all the spices and ingredients that make Mexican food so yummy. Love the Carne asada, the Pollo frito, and Al Pastor tacos with the Mexican street corn as a side. The Hola classic margaritas is exactly that, a classic top shelf margarita prepared the way they were meant to be. Service is always great. Highly recommend this place.
FANTASTIC food, AMAZING customer service and weve made this our Friday evening spot for dinner for the four of us, and any of friends we can get to join us!The manager always stops by the table and checks on us. Not sure if its because hes seen us every Friday for 6 months or if he does that to everyone, but the entire staff makes us feel like were sitting on our own patio eating. The food is incredible. Absolutely perfect. The specials each week will blow you away. The combinations the chef comes up with are great!Go when its nice, sit outside and enjoy this place. We look forward to every Friday evening here! Oh, and the patio is fenced in so our 4 year old and his friends can roam around and we dont have to worry!
My Husband and I decided to go here after reading some reviews, and it was so worth it. Everything these guys make is made in house, starting with the salsa and going all the way to the end.The Salsa is worth going to this restaurant all by its self. It is so flavorful and not super spicy. Then we moved onto the tacos!!!!! I have had a lot of tacos around the area because they are our favorites. These tacos are incredible. From the reg...to their lamb and brisket. Each one has a unique flavor. And the Sides, normally I skip those, because they are just not worth getting filled up on. Their black beans had so much intense flavor and then we moved to the jalapeno corn. ::swoons::Just go experience it for yourself. They are just a great restaurant and the service was top notch they really take care of their customers.
Really good food and experience. We got the guacamole, fajitas, Mexican pizza, and the salmon dish. All were very good. If I HAD to provide a small critique, the guacamole could have a little more pizazz with some more lime, pepper and salt. Overall excellent experience. Well be back.
As a life-long foodie, Latin food connoisseur, and also someone with functioning tastebuds...to all of you people saying that this is the best Mexican restaurant or the food is amazing clearly you have NO idea what REAL Mexican food tastes like, or even GOOD FOOD for that matter. This place is so generic and clearly catered to people who know no better. Once you have the real deal, I guarantee you will not come back saying that this place is delicious. Genuinely upset I wasted time and money... But hey you win some, you lose some. Staff was very pleasant but thats not enough reason for me to want to come back.
Great service and great food!!!!! One of my biggest pet peeves is when you order a steak medium rare and it comes out looking like a hockey puck. They cooked the steak here to perfection!! Fantastic service, great drinks, salsa and atmosphere. This place is definitely one of my favorites in metro Atlanta.
This used to be my go to for elevated Mexican in Roswell. However the last three times we went. They were blasting club music at 11:00am on a Sunday and wouldnt turn it down. To loud to hear my girlfriend sitting next to me. Could you at least save that for the evening?
The burrito and fajitas were just okay. The grilled onions and peppers werent exactly grilled. The burrito was literally huge, but had almost no taste. From the menu, I was under the impression there was going to be sour cream and queso and avocado in the burrito, but they were awkwardly on top, and not enough of it I might add for literally how obnoxiously huge this burrito was. The burrito was wrapped a lot too, too much tortilla and Im not sure why there were peas in my burrito. The chicken, rice, and beans were not so great either, inside my burrito. The best part was the chips and salsa, and the service was great as well.
The place was packed on Friday night it was also national tequila day. The 30 minute wait was worth it. The food was good, great portions. I loved the vegan taco options (avocado frito) and sides! Connor, our waitress made great suggestions and did not miss a beat. I would definitely recommend!
Food was great! The salmon taco was probably the best taco I have ever had!Their service was good except that it was so busy the bar was backed up so my group had to reorder drinks a few times! If it’s your first time I would suggest going at a slower time like a weekday afternoon for lunch!
What an amazing place!Me & my coworker met today for dinner & drinks. HOLA staff was attentive from the minute we walked in the door, very impressive fir Saturday dinner rush!Coral was our waitress, she did an even better job helping us with entree selections. It was busy; however, she consistently checked in on us to be sure that we were OK.Then upon leaving, I left my cell phone on the seat at the table where I was sitting. We were literally outside when a nice young that cleaned our table ran after me to hand me my cell phone. 🙃 wow!HOLA gets an A+ for Amazing customer service! Great dinner & drinks! and Integrity & Honesty, the gentleman cleaning our table did not have to run after me to give me my cell.
Seem like they had enough staff but they were focused on the to go orders rather then dine in customers to me. Our server tried to accommodate for wait by offering free dip which helped but our wait was reaching like a hour, time to go, thanks but no thanks. Should have had a better system in place if they were going to open for dine in or have enough cooks. May try again, well see!
We love Hola! Taqueria, the food is great, its fun and the kids love it too. We always have the best night at Hola! if we are being served by Miguel. He is an incredible server and always goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience. We love being served by Miguel and our kids love him too - ask for him and you will have the BEST service.
Excellent place to eat. I am gluten free and the waiter was really helpful. I wanted nachos and even though it is listed on the menu as gluten free, the waiter made sure all was fine. I actually had to get the nachos with the chips that are used for the chips and salsa they bring out at the beginning. Everything tasted great!
My experience at HOLA was a very good one. I was with a close work group of 10 people and the waiter was very attentive and polite, food was very good and came out as ordered, and they were able to accommodate our group and keep with social distancing from others. Very happy with my experience.
Im surprised at all the previous low reviews. This was my first visit here. There was only one bartender, she was great! It took her a few minutes to get to me, but she wasnt just standing around! She made sure I was acknowledged and came to me as soon as she could which was about two minutes! A server brought chips and salsa while I waited for my to go order. The food was great!
Absolutely Amazing! I have dreams about their shrimp/crab enchiladas and the charro beans could be a main course. Their salsa is unique and the drinks have been strong and delicious every time Ive been. A perfect example that Mexican cuisine is more than cheap tacos. Dont let the subpar reviews fool you most of them are complaints about this place being busy. The times Ive been however, my service has been prompt,my bartender and waiter knowledgeable, and the experience outstanding.
Ive never had a favorite restaurant before but this place is so damn good! They have something called a molcajete thats like a huge meat and cheese bowl. Im not describing it well, but you should definitely try it. Its so tasty! And everyone is always so nice there. Its consistently good food and service.
The food was very tasty and arrived timely. Unfortunately the service was subpar. The hostess up front did not seem to know her job. If you dont have a reservation this seems to put them in a vapor lock. I had to suggest where to seat us. Once seated, the u shaped booth set for 8 people only sat 4 people, 5 very crowded with no elbow room or space for plates. The TVs and music were so loud we couldnt hear our soft spoken waitress. The price was higher than expected for the quantity of food and the choices are limited on the menu, yet the food did not disappoint. We wont return due to lack of professional behavior and atmosphere, but I would encourage to try the food.
Food was very good. Service was great. Only reason for 2 stars is that a pitcher of margaritas was $40, and pitcher price is not on the menu. For a pitcher that price, customers should be told or should definitely be of better quality. Turned a very reasonably priced Sunday meal into big surprise.
I have nothing but good things to say about the food. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve eaten here. Couple small gripes. It takes the bartenders a very long time to greet new guest. For Togo order I wish I was asked if I need silverware because I’d rather not receive any and I’d rather not use more plastic, plus I think the restaurant could end up saving in the long run. Also if you could use anything other than styrofoam that would be awesome. I know it’s pretty standard for togo but I’d love if you’d use something else.
Update Dec 2020:Food is still delicious! MIGUEL is our favorite server of all time!!! 🥳🥇🏅🏆 He is nice, thorough, fast, & professional! He makes our visit all the more enjoyable!!! 💜😇Please allow me to share why my foodie husband and I think that this place has superior quality food with great taste and options. First let me say that the manager, Andrea, is wonderful and all the servers in our experience have been super friendly and helpful, particularly Miguel, who is simply one of the best servers weve ever had the pleasure of being served by. All of the proteins are of excellent quality, far superior to any other Mexican or Latin restaurant around, including Lazaros and Pure Taqueria. The steak is steakhouse-quality-steak with a delicious seasoning and the carnitas are phenomenal and not too fatty. They also have lamb and brisket tacos which are succulent and they have special sauces for each one of these. You can also get any of their tacos in a lettuce wrap too! They offer many vegetarian options, even fried avacado tacos - and can even accommodate vegans. I have never been to a taqueria where you can get so many side options including sauteed spinach, kale, fried yucca, cilantro rice, Mexican street corn, and two or three different kinds of beans AND a good-sized side salad w/wonderful cilantro dressing! Even their salsa is made with not only tomatoes, but with roasted vegetables too...so its different from any other offering around. They also have a wonderful bar and the outside of the bar actually opens to the inside and nice weather so you can actually sit outside and look into the restaurant. So over all this was a super well-thought-out concept and its excellently executed. Please give it a shot if you have not been here!👌 (and no - this is NOT tex-mex food...it is MUCH fresher & healthier and you can actually get green stuff here - not just a hundred variations of ground beef, rice, beans, and tortillias! This is more Baja--style fresh food!) :)

2022-04-18Great food and great services. We ordered the Lola, Lola, tacos and Molcajete (grilled meat variety served in a Hot Lava Bowl) and all were delicious. Our server was super friendly and did an excellent job taking care of us. They also have outside seating and are dog friendly too.

2022-05-14Great food. Live band was there when my husband and I went. It was just all around great vibes. Short wait on seating (weekend). We went twice already so we obviously like it. The street corn and the ceviche was delicious.

2021-07-06Food was excellent! Our party of 15 was completely satisfied. From the enchiladas, to the burrito, to the fajitas- everything was great. Fresh guacamole and awesome chips. Fun atmosphere and great ambiance. Clean restrooms, all private. Service was great. The steak fajitas are cooked to order, I like medium/medium rare- they were perfect! Tres leches/ shortcake dessert was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

2021-07-26Came here yesterday for the first time, and had an amazing experience! I didn’t know they host trivia on Sunday nights, and it seemed like all of Roswell showed up to play. The hostess was so sweet and awesome, the manager came by often to check in with our table and others, and our server (Juan) was just over the top phenomenal! He made great food suggestions, made sure we always had full drinks and full basket of chips, and was overall just wonderful. Juan even went out of his way to relocate us to a table indoors when he felt some rain. And of course, the food was very delicious. The Mexican pizza was probably the winner at my table, the tacos a close second. Overall, delicious food and outstanding service!

2022-06-26I’m from Mexico City and I can say that they are the most similar Pastor tacos to those of Mexico City. The pastor Tacos are really Good, only you have to ask for cilantro and lime for the tacos.I Tried the 3 Leches cake And really It’s not good but the Pastor tacos are amazing

2021-11-02I ordered the borrego tacos with street corn and charro beans. I recommend asking for some limes or your favorite hot sauce for the tacos, the taste was good by itself, but I enjoyed the extra contrast of flavors. We couldnt stop finishing the salsa and the guacamole was gone as soon as it arrived. Overall, very pleased with the meal!

2022-05-12We go here a couple of times a week for lunch or after work. Normally the service at the bar is adequate at best. Today we had the pleasure of Ruben being behind the bar. He was very attentive and engaging. I also observed him interacting with other patrons and giving great service. Unfortunately he said he was just filling in and he normally waits on tables. You need a guy with a personality like Rubens behind the bar if you want to have patrons become regulars. As I stated earlier, I come here all the time and have never left a review. These 5 stars are for Ruben.
