Im here a lot for business. Staff is always nice and always remember my name when I walk in.My room today smell sooo good looks like ricca cleaned it and is super clean. Only issue is (some)of the beds kinda have that memory foam so when you wake up you can find yourself seeped into the middle of the bed and makes it uncomfortable the water/shower doesnt get as hot they have a good breakfast like smoke sausages, scrambled eggs,pancakes cereal Etc.. But its a few restaurant right across the street and walmart.But its a nice clean hotel I like it.
Staff was wonderful. Helpful and always greeted us and asked if they could do anything to make our stay better.
Enjoyed this stay! Booked a king handicap suite and it did not disappoint! The room was conveniently laid out and spacious. Everything was accessible. The staff was friendly and able to accommodate a late-night check-in that went smoothly. The staff even informed us of benefits we didnt know we had as Priority Club members! Will stay here again when we return.
This is a beautiful hotel. Bed is slightly too soft but well made with plenty of pillows.Breakfast is superior to any other free breakfast Ive had in a hotel. Its a full breakfast, cereal, fruit, biscuits and gravy, pancakes. This helped offset the slightly higher rate than we usually pay.Very clean. Front dest clerk was very helpful and friendly.
If you stay here you will have a good stay. The Breakfast was on the upper end of continental. They had enough parking. The room was sorta clean. The Bedding was very clean and honestly thats the deal breaker these days. Hotel Housekeeping today is incompetent of cleaning. I am not sure if they lack training or perhaps are understaffed. Especially after Covid. The Standard for Clean is about a 5 out of 10. Another Highlight of this establishment is Safety. I did not witness any foot traffic, loud music or any illegal activities. This is always a plus! Overall this would be your best choice.
All around great hotel! Recommend. Clean, friendly ,and very updated. BUT the beds in the room we had very uncomfortable. Woke up with back pain both nights we stayed. My only complaint! If they have better mattress this hotel would get straight 5 from me. We have family in area so plan to be back many times very often. So I will give this hotel a second chance in hopes we just had a set of bad beds. But if same thing happens next visit might have to go somewhere else.
The best hotel experience in Georgia so far. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean rooms. Good breakfast buffet and beautiful lounge areas. Will definitely be back for sure! Many thanks 😊
Very impressed with this clean hotel friendly night staff! I had an online discount and because the hotel only had a room or two left it wouldnt let me finish my transaction online. The staff was able to give me my discount and get me checked in without any problem. Room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if in the area!
My rating is due to lack of security which put me and others at risk. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant I would give her 5+ stars if the rating was based on her. I checked in over the holiday, parking lot was almost empty. They said very limited guests due to the holiday. When i checked in there were 3 young men who were acting suspiciously and everywhere i went they were there. They were riding the elevator, pacing the room floors etc. Lots of suspicious things happened and it made me very uncomfortable. It turned out that they werent guests at the hotel and the hotel worker had to ask them to leave and called the cops. I canceled my reservation and checked out immediately.
This was one of the best hotel experiences Ive ever had. The employees were all so nice and helpful any time we had questions about the area. The breakfast was nice and hot even at the end of the breakfast window. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy with the option of a firm or soft pillow. The location was also perfect! Not too far from the town square and close to various restaurants so we had plenty of options and could get to any of the tourist spots quickly! Ive already recommended this hotel to multiple people wanting to visit Covington, and Ive only been home for two days!
Very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Covington. With the exception of some grease on the carpets, the room was clean as a pin. Linens and Towels were sparkling white. Bed was comfortably firm, good selection of pillows. The staff was very accommodating with extra towels and changes to our itinerary. Will definitely stay again.
I was traveling for work and they booked me in this hotel. My first time ever staying in a Holiday Inn express and I was highly impressed. The staff is amazing and it’s in the perfect area. Highly recommend!!
Stopped here for one night on our drive from NC to TX and was grateful that they had a room available and it was king size. Price was a bit high but I was at their mercy for a room. Would stay here again if passing through. Rooms are fairly new and could use a deeper cleaning. Bathroom was not as clean as the rest of the room. Hotel staff was very polite and easy going.
I will never stay here again. Everything was ok until i got home and was charged for an additional night. The morning we planned to leave i called down to ask if they had availability to extend an additional night on the grounds that we could change flights. The flight didn’t work out so we left at check out and i gave the keys back and advised we would not need the additional night. (This was 30 mins later) i called numerous times was told i would get a call back from a manager and they never called. I called today and was advised that the manager again would not speak with me and that i would not get my money back. They are saying it’s same day cancellation. Which does not apply here considering it was 30 mins later and we advised needed to see if we could get another flight. Them charging despite the fact we checked out is wrong
The holidayinn express staff was very friendly. From the time that we got their. Theonly cocern that I have was when the breakfast area closed before time. If it say to 10 oclock it needs to stay open. People were still coming in for breakfast they closed before time. They ran out of food too. And it seem like they had an attitude when asked if they could make more pancakes. Other than that my stay was excellent. I will come and stay again when in town visiting family.
I enjoyed the stay 100% and have no complaints or ideas of how the hostess could have made it a better experience. I totally love Holiday Inn Express. Beds amazing. Room was fresh and clean. Aimee was the girl at the front desk and she was wonderful and patient with me. I wish I had ask if there was a Senior citizens discount. I will next visit.
Positive: Love the room and the breakfast Negative: Was very disappointed that we arrived early and the front desk chose to put us in the room next to the elevator equipment it was noisy all night. Not what I expected!! Would think rooms like that would be saved for last and come with a warning ¿¿ Â

This is a great hotel for visiting the Covington Area. It is convenient, clean, quite, safe, and the breakfast buffet was the icing on the cake. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did have a few minor issues with our room (tub did not drain well, fridge did not work, door drug the floor) but these issues were fixed immediately upon notifying the front desk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
Still one of my favorite Holiday Inns, wonderful staff, gorgeous remodel is only about a year old8/18/20 update Thank you as always for the delightful stay here. This location is always clean, in great condition, and has delightful staff. I wont stay anywhere else in the area when business brings me here. You guys rock!4/12/22 (neglected to update in 2021) This remains my fav Holiday Inn Express. Its convenient to my customers and meals. As always, spotlessly clean and well kept with friendly service.
I can’t say enough about our stay. Clean fresh rooms as well as dining area and lobby. Excellent breakfast. Everyone was nice and cheerful. Good price. I’m 65 and have stayed at a lot of hotels in my life and this one was at the top!
Hotel Staff were especially welcoming and friendly during our stay. Covington HI Express is convenient to restaurants and local businesses.
The Hotel is nice, the lobby area looks pretty. The bed are comfortable and the room is was clean. The bathroom was nice too just that the tub drain doesnt drain that fast but its manageable. In general was good to stay. The staff were very friendly and professional. I will stay again at the Covington Hotel.
The Girls are check in were super friendly, helpful and full of great local knowledge! Room was fresh and clean, beds were comfortable, free breakfast a definite bonus. Outside seating area was gorgeous! 24 hour fitness room was a plus! Wish they had an indoor pool, but other than that, very happy with our stay. (We were here for a vampire diaries weekend for our kids.)
Enjoyed our stay. Some difficulty with the room key card when we were there for the entire stay. The whole hotel was having issues and we needed to be escorted to our room so the staff can let us in each time with their master key. Apparently it was down for at least a week. We only had to deal with it for a few days since we only stayed a few days. It was an inconvenience but the staff handled it well and got us in our room very quickly. Im not sure if I could have done it for a week though. They ran out of a lot of breakfast items when we were there - specifically yogurt and sausage and some other staple items. Overall, Id stay here again. Entire staff was friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The hotel was clean and quiet and rooms were nice.
This is a fairly new hotel, spacious and nice area. The grounds were nice. The room and bed were comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The really liked the area next to the pool. The seating was comfortable, a large enough area to host a few small groups as well as table and chairs to eat at.
We really enjoyed stay! After a long night of driving this was the perfect pit stop to get some rest and sleep. After a refreshing sleep with more driving to do we were able to enjoy a nice hot breakfast. The staff was also great and willing to go the extra mile. Overall a great stay!
The reviews for this hotel are far too generous. The first room I was assigned had been smoked in. The hotel knew this as an ionizer was running in the room in an attempt to remove the smoke. The second room was better, but lacked in thorough cleaning. I just cleaned the room myself and stayed. The rooms are not quiet and you can hear your neighbors. I would have stayed at the adjacent hotel (HI) but it was booked.
I called Holiday Inn while standing in another hotel lobby who messed up our reservation. They got me right in and upon arrival I knew I made the right decision calling them. The price was a bit high but well worth it after my experience at the other hotel. Everyone was so nice, the room was great, the pool and breakfast were a great addition. Thank you for saving us!

This hotel is beautiful, modern and so clean! The staff members that I encountered were warm and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The shower was even amazing. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay here and would love to do it again, for leisure next time.
We had a great time visiting Covington and Senoia! The hotel was very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, though the wait was a little delayed due to Covid restrictions. My only complaint would be with the sliding barn-style door to the restroom. There was no latch/lock and the door would slide open if not for the careful work of a steady hand upon entering to stop the sliding. I really didn’t appreciate that. There were three people in my room and we all desire a bit more privacy when visiting the facilities. Another issue was with water drainage following a shower. We each waited about 45 minutes for this process to be completed between showers. I felt a little yucky standing in fairly deep water as I showered.
One of the absolute nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff was incredible on making sure we knew where all the locals went and how to get there. The cleaning staff was super friendly! Everything was absolutely perfect and I could not think of a better hotel to stay at for my 24th birthday celebration!
The hotels was very clean which is very important to me. My room was very well put together and had everything that I needed. The staff was very nice and greeted me with smiles and a warm welcome. It made me feel at home. Id strongly recommend thus hotel.
Hotel decor was very nice. The cleanliness and amenities were wonderful. Unfortunately, we had an uncomfortable check-in experience with a staff member. She was rude and has zero customer service skills. GM or staff did not intervene until I stood back in line requested to speak to GM. It’s a shame because it is a nice hotel.
The room was nice and very comfortable bed. However the room had not been cleaned well. The ice bucket had not been emptied from guest before. The refrigerator had stuff in it and had not been wiped out. The shower had hair on the shelf where it looked like someone had put their razor. Advised hotel staff and they said they would have manager contact us about this but nobody ever did.

Our visit began with our room being ready early .The Room was clean , however the bathroom was not as clean as it should be .I do not like seeing any hair anywhere !also , our tub backed up so much , my daughter was in a bath .I would not use this tub , so we moved rooms .The only room available was a king bed room , and I paid for 2 queens . This was disappointing but the room and bathroom were clean and no drain issues .The pool was not kept clean and there was a smoking area outside which is very close to the pool.We had to endure smelly cigarettes and cigars .The breakfast foods were ok .Overall good hotel but not a great experience .Overall the hotel is nice and the staff are wonderful .I
I booked to stay at this hotel because it was 4 mins away from where I was getting married at. The service treated me like a Queen the day before my wedding and the day of my wedding. Everything was amazing EXCEPT the church that rents the conference room made me late to my own wedding because they took over a room (Board Room) that I booked to get ready for my wedding in. But the staff handled it very well and even though I was LATE to my own wedding the staff helped me calm down and they fixed the problem RIGHT AWAY WHEN I said something to them. The breakfast was super vague and had no type of variety and ended up being hard and cold.
This hotel is very comfortable. The staff are friendly and professional and willing to assist you with any questions. The breakfast is very good and with a good variety of choices. The hotel also has great measures to keep occupants safe from COVID. I will visit again if I return to Atlanta.

This place has the most comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms were comfy and clean and the staff service was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The outdoor area was a bonus and very relaxing.
Personally, I love it here! Not only did I sleep well each night after a long day of work, but Emalee at the front desk spoke to me each morning!! She made me feel excited about my day! When I needed something, her and anyone around went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. Kim made sure I was checked in quickly, and was very accommodating to my needs. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty food options around. I enjoyed their gym, and I love the fact that they have newspapers in the food area. It was convenient for me to grab one after making tea as I headed out the door. Also, they provide sanitizers, masks, etc. as soon as you walk in. I used their laundry, which was coin-operated, and it got the job done. I appreciated that all of the staff made it a point to speak to me; I felt like I was at home. Whenever I am in the area again for business and need a place to stay, this location will be my first choice.
This hotel was fabulous! Comfortable bed, great food, pool, and great service. I highly recommend this hotel. Took care of all our needs. The girl at the front counter, Victoria was amazing at helping us! 10/10 recommendation. ☺
First let me say the staff was nice, the outside areas was nice (except for the constant stream of smokers sitting there), and the area has several restaurants. I think the area is safe, although we got a weird vibe from the place. Seemed like people who weren’t staying here were just hanging around. Now, the room. Floors hadn’t been vacuumed, toilet dirty, sheets stained, shower does not drain. No housekeeping unless you’re here 5 days. Which is fine, it’s a new day traveling post covid - I get it. But I left the requested form at the front desk for towel refresh for the following day and we received none. Had to ask the front desk for them. Our key quit working. Had to get a new one. It’s just not what I’d expect for $300+ for 2 night stay. We’re typically Hilton brand travelers. Maybe this is norm for Holiday Inns. I’m not sure. Either way, we won’t be back. However, historic Covington is totally worth a trip!
We were staying in Covington to settle my child in college. We enjoyed a 3 day stay and would extend that for upcoming visits. Very comfortable and conveniently located. A nice plus was an outdoor patio which was a relaxing venue for an evening snack.
This hotel is great and very reasonable. The staff is nice and helpful, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are nice and roomy. I was there for 5 days and appreciated that the rooms have a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I highly recommend it
October 9th I was supposed to check in and then check out on the 12th. I made a reservation well ahead of time. Back in January, and I called 3 months away, then I called the Monday before I arrived Saturday. Saturday October 9th I was married and drove 4 hours to this hotel and low and behold it was midnight, and I was told my room was canceled because I apparently didn’t confirm. I showed them my call log which lasted for 5 minutes that’s Monday confirming everything was good to go! The start to my honey moon was just great! Called around for places to stay and they were all booked. We called 8 different hotels. Which left my husband and I sleeping in our car for a few hours before heading back home as there were no rooms anywhere available. The ladies at the front desk acted clueless. They left us waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes saying they were fixing the problem when you could hear them just giggling and snacking in the office. I do not recommend this place. You get told you have a room and then when you arrive your room is canceled….ohhhh and they still charge!!! Got charged for a place I couldn’t stay at all because they said I didn’t confirm. When I clearly called that Monday extremely excited. Don’t waste your time!!
Everything was great very modern and updated hotel. Breakfast was great! Only issue was that we found a contact lens in the bathroom and the sink and tub backed up. When I brought up the contact lens to the front desk he just gave me a blank look...but he did react to fixing the issue with the plumbing. He sent someone to fix it later that afternoon but the problem wasnt resolved. We were there for 3 nights and just dealt with it. Other than that everything was great.
Well, lets say that this will be my last stay at this establishment. After driving down for 11 hours, I couldnt get a rest because there was so much banging, yelling and noise coming from above since 8PM. I have told the hotel front about it at 10pm but it didnt stop until past midnight. Lights in the room are not even all working - carpets are literally disgusting and has gum or something stuck to them.

The hotel was extremely clean. Masks and hand sanitizer were available in the front entrance. Upon arriving in the room, the remote control for the tv was bagged up to show it had been cleaned. The surfaces were extremely clean. Breakfast was prepared by the staff, but there were meal choices. I thought this was very well done. It was fast and easy. The parking lot was very well lit too, which was nice since we arrived later in the night.
The room was clean and staff was very courteous. Breakfast was limited but it was sufficient enough to grab something quick before leaving in the morning. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others.
The staff was great the room was clean the Covid restrictions were properly enforced new place felt very comfortable very safe no complaints about anything at all. The lady that was cooking breakfast the morning that I was there was absolutely perfect she was overworked she was alone but she was smiling and extremely polite and helpful and she had it completely under control I mean literally wait time was next to nothing especially considering she was working alone and taking care of everybody she was absolutely a blessing
The Holiday Inn express in covington Ga disappointed me for the first time ever. Ive stayed there countless times and this was by far the worst experience. Our TV didnt work and was told sorry but theres nothing we can do. Our hairdryer didnt work and there was not another one we could use. The pool was disgusting. The staff was dismissive and Rude. I wont be staying there again. Im a Gold rewards member and have never experienced anything like this stay. I never stay anywhere but Holiday Inn express but that will be changing.
I am quite pleased with my recent stay at this location. I am a travel nurse and I stay at alot of different places, and I must say that this is one of my favorites. There are less expensive hotels in the area, but I look at cleanliness and safety above all and I think this was a good choice for me. The only complaint I have is that there was no coffee or food when I left at 6:30am. However, I will definately be staying there again.
I travel a lot throughout the year, I have stayed in holiday Inn express 4 times in the last year. It is my favorite go to now. In fact during a recent stay in GA. I booked another hotel , I check out in 5 minutes because it was not up to Holiday Inn Express standards and went to a holiday inn express. They are so clean, beds are really comfortable. staff is excellent and friendly. I really like Holiday Inn express and it is fairly priced. I would recommend to all my friends and family. I will book with them again, and use them whenever I can.
From the moment when my grandson and I walked in and checked in at the desk, this woman Punam was the most sweetest and helpful person I have seen in along time. Everything was clean and she just helped us so much. Great experience and breakfast was great, the servers were fantastic and so sweet as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Lynn
When I made a reservation I wanted a double bed and that’s understandable if it wasn’t available but when I arrived it still wasn’t available so I was offered a bed on wheels. I was visiting a close friend so I checked in and left. Once coming back with my children the bed still wasn’t in the room so I called the front desk to ask about the bed and then an hour later and still no bed so I had to go back down to the front t desk to speak with someone face to face. Other then that my children and I were only there to sleep so I didn’t ask for much.
I work all over the country and stay at pretty much all the hotel chains that are out there ( usually for an extended length of time ) overall this hotel is a little above the average. Im currently staying here for approximately six months. Until the past week or so its been fine, the staff is friendly, the breakfasts have been acceptable, and the housekeeping has been ok, and the elevators are beyond slow. But all of a sudden things have been different? They now cant give you a key for your room ( their machine is broke? ) so they have to escort you to your room when you check in, or go out for something and return later? I usually ask for housekeeping every seven to ten days. This past weekend I didnt ask for housekeeping and left the do not disturb placard on the door but when I was gone and returned someone had entered my room, took my dirty towels, didnt replace them with clean towels, and placed the do not disturb placard on the inside of the door? When I called the front desk to question why this happened they couldnt explain! At the same time I ask them to schedule me for housekeeping today, and they did. All was good until I pulled back the sheets and discovered grains of dirt and hair ( pubic and otherwise ) After a couple of more calls to the front desk, and a couple of different people coming to my room, I received clean sheets and pillow cases ( which I changed myself ) With the current Covid-19 guidelines Im alittle dismayed at being exposed to strangers dirt and hair in supposedly Clean sheets? All in All this is not a bad place to spend the night, and Ill be here for another couple of months. ( unless things continue to become worse ) I would just say that if you decide to stay here, Check the Sheets!
Though the place was clean and well kept . I had an unfortunate experience , I had left some things in the front lobby for some guests . When the guests went and asked for it, they were giving a simple we dont know .I expected more integrity from this chain . It was very displeasing .
For the most part, the hotel staff were great. Very friendly and helpful, even though they charged my credit card different charges amounting to 4 times the bill. We cleared it up but it was a nuisance. ALL CLEANING STAFF MUST WEAR MASKS OVER THEIR NOSES AND MOUTHS. Some were not doing this consistently. The bathrooms had human hair all over. The water pressure in the shower was low, no bathtub. Breakfast choices are limited. For the most part, it was decent.
This hotel was a good choice for my stay in Covington. The hotel staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel appearance was pleasing. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is still not offering daily cleaning and I’m not really sure why since the risk of COVID-19 is minimal now. My only complaint would be that the pool wasn’t clean. It really needs to be scrubbed as there was a film of dirt all along the tiles and the water looked somewhat murky like the filter wasn’t working properly.
This was our first breakaway from all the Covid quarantining. We went to our hotel for a wedding. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. There were sanitizing stations everywhere. Our room was incredibly clean and I felt like they cleaned our room like I would clean my own house. Beds were clean and comfortable. Coffeemaker and supplies were all nicely stocked. Bathroom was impeccably clean. My favorite part of the stay was the staff, who were super friendly and helpful.
We were given the wrong room upon arriving, but that was quickly taken care of. The shower was nasty. Under the shelves had gunk build up. The breakfast menu was very small and didn’t really have anything that myself or my daughter would eat, but it is quiet and relaxing and the staff is overall friendly.... just don’t have a late checkout... seems to irritate the housekeeper
I had no issues with this clean and safe hotel. The pillows were excellent and the best I have ever encountered in a hotel and I traveled for 26 years in my job. The lobby coffee could seriously be improved.
Checked in room wasn’t clean hair on countertops and sink. Did not have shampoo or bath soap. Breakfast was a nightmare the staff didn’t keep the trays filled with food...ie no bacon but had sausage no orange juice expired milk in refrigerator ran out of food before 9a.m. every day but they advertise breakfast until 10 a.m. Manager stated they were going to add enough points to compensate for another free room I am still waiting for the points
I have stayed here 2 times and have loved both times. Staff is friendly. Beds and pillows are the best! Had full breakfast (pancakes, eggs, meat, breads, muffins etc). I will stay here again.
The hotel was great and helpful from the time I started arranging a Wedding large group stay in May to the actual wedding weekend in December! Everyone was helpful and gracious. Kim made all of the web arrangements, as plans changed due to Covid, Brittney and Lilia took care of adding suites and deleting reservations. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, right down to handing me a bag of extra coffee K-cups and coffee cups for us!!! Breakfast was carefully served individually to each guest from the kitchen and quickly due to covid, all staff wore masks and gloves everywhere! We were safe, very comfortable and well taken care of!
Everyone was friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, clean and beds were very comfortable. I was especially impressed with the way they have managed to continue to have a continental breakfast during this pandemic. It wasn’t just a grab and go! Although it was a limited menu there were great choices and we enjoyed our breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby and cleanliness of the hotel were excellent. The breakfast options were FAR better than most continental breakfasts I’ve had (and I travel a LOT). The breakfast staff were so kind and helpful. We didn’t make it down to breakfast until 10mins before close and they didn’t rush us or snatch items off the bar (which has been my experience with other hotels if you come down too close to close). I had my toddlers with me and they were so kind and accommodating. Everything was awesome and the room was modern and comfortable.
I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was quick and easy service. It remained quite and comfortable after I arrived. I didnt use the breakfast lobby but I did refresh my self with good coffee. I decided to eat next door at Chilis,which was convenient. The beds were comfortable and ingot a good nights rest. Thanks a lot.
Omg after our first night at another hotel in this area we finally was moved by priceline to this one. No comparison... HIE is head and shoulders above the other. No bugs, no leaking plumbing, and clean!!!! Stay here if you can. Staff is above and beyond! Need an extra towel, no issues. Oh and the price was within a few dollars of the non quality hotel we were at before. Thanks again priceline for the prompt refund and suggesting this place.
I was in town for business and stayed here with a group of coworkers. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful getting us all checked in in a quick manner. I was super impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The beds are super comfortable in the shower amenities were definitely an added bonus. This is a great hotel and we will definitely stay here again soon!
Housekeeping never came to my room during my 2 day stay. I requested a tub and got a room with a shower. I was in a room that had a connecting door. Due to the high volume of sex trafficking, I felt uneasy about this. I did not want or need conjoining rooms. There was only 1 small trash can in the room and 1 small trash can in the bathroom. I expected better service for the price I paid for the room.

I stayed here for one night while traveling and it was good for what I needed. There was one stain on the sheets, not a big deal and everything else appeared clean. My biggest complaint is that mask wearing is not enforced in public spaces which is very uncomfortable. Other than that it was a simple stay and I’d probably stay again if I needed to.
We stayed one night here on a 3 week trip. This hotel was the cleanest one we had been in. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the hand sanitizer were full! Something rare on our trip. Very friendly, professional staff. Would definitely star here again.
The bed was very nice and I also liked how you all provide the shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower and not just the little bottles. It was a very nice product. The staff was very pleasant to talk too. Keep up the good work and we will stay there again if and when we come back to town.
Rooms need to be cleaner. I have felt debris on the floor my first night in the room. The showers could definitely be cleaner. I once entered a room that was so filthy, I had to be given another room. The bed linen was dirty, the microwave was filthy. The ice pitcher held water from melted ice. The coffee area was a mess. The room smelled heavily of smoke with new burn marks in the carpet. Horrible!
All the employees were kind and helpful when we arrived all the way until we left. The room was very nice and comfortable to sleep did not have any problems with my stay would definitely recommend this to others.
Perhaps the most comfortable mattress I have ever had. I felt perfectly safe because of the methods used to avoid infection. My room was spotless, the staff extremely professional and very friendly. Ive never had a better stay anywhere.
The lady at the front desk, I believe her name is Punam was incredibly sweet and kind, very helpful! If we needed anything at all she was more than happy to help us out. Excellent Employee she is great at what she does and it’s so nice to know you have people like her overlooking your stay. She is definitely a Plus to the Hotel. A big thank you to her.
Breakfast set up was EXCELLENT I appreciated how they instilled the no contact service. Everything was precooked but it was okay to get our day started. Initial greeting with staff the morning before checking in was awesome and he let me check the rooms before I booked very nice and knowledgeable guy. The room was okay just alot of random hair in places. I wish these hotels could find a solution for this problem. Morning staff not friendly nor did she acknowledge me and my kiddos all morning as we waited for breakfast before we got back on the road home. We stayed one night so it was just okay.
We can here about a week ago for the vampire diaries tours. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. They have a convenient little shop in the lobby for drinks and snacks. They serve breakfast in the morning as well. If I happen to be in the area, I will stay here again.
We traveled to the area for a wedding and this was the closest property. While the property was fine but the rooms were not well serviced nor was the property maintained well. And, for the amount we paid, I would expect better.
Attending my daughter’s hosted Thanksgiving. Location perfectly off route 20. Walmart and convenient restaurants and other stores. Hotel clean courteous and friendly!
Pretty much met expectations. Comfortable bed, good climate control. Shower head great flow, mold spots on ceiling and the shower door did not stay closed all the way so had so leakage onto floor of bathroom. Front desk staff efficient. One of the reasons we love Holiday Inn Express is the breakfast buffet. Due to the virus this was eliminated, at least they offered a hot biscuit sandwich which was better than nothing. Not their fault they couldnt do the whole breakfast, its just that we had not considered that so were disappointed.
People at the front desk were very helpful and polite. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. I like the free breakfast. The only thing I would have liked more, is if they had Smart TVs in the rooms. With all of the streaming services, it is a nice feature for a guest to be able to log into their streaming services like Netflix. This would give guests more tv watching options, at no extra cost to the hotel.
This hotel is close to the interstate which was very convenient. The lobby is nice and looks like new. The room was very clean and smelled like new. The bed linens were clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. I appreciated the ladies making hot breakfast sandwiches, especially during the pandemic.
I have never stayed in a hotel that I have been able to give 5 stars on everything. This hotel is top notch. ALL of the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We started out in a double queen room and then went to a king suite. Both rooms were 5 stars on everything. The blackout blind is awesome, low outside traffic noise, very comfortable beds and room was extremely clean. Hands down I would recommend this hotel!!!
This is a great little hotel in Covington Georgia. It is right off the freeway, extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. Only downfall was they ran out of hot breakfast. That is not OK. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
The lobby and outdoor areas were very nice. It did not feel like they took Covid seriously though in their cleaning. The room was not well cleaned and the sheets had pilled. Not worth how much they charged for the room at all.
We had a wonderful time here. Close to the town, which is adorable. The room is modern and very clean. The breakfast (included) was very good with a lot of choices.

I have stayed in a few hotels during COVID and this one was far and away the cleanest and best. They have adjusted the breakfast to allow them to serve most of the regular buffet menu items (pancakes, omelets, etc.) individually from behind a divider. All of the employees were super cheerful and seemed anxious to please. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I stayed at the hotel for a vacation while visiting Covington and Conyers GA. The bed was comfortable. Hotel room doors heavy when opening and closing but was nice and quiet. The room was clean and tons of hand sanitizer around as well as requiring face masks in public areas. However issue with housekeeping since they don’t come but every 5 days due to Covid. When I am on vacation I expect fresh towels every few days even if they put them outside the door as well as toilet paper. I don’t like having to ask for more. Other hotels in the area had housekeeping every few days. I won’t be staying at this hotel again. Only reason I stayed at this hotel was to take the Vampire Diaries and Originals tour.
Hotel rooms were newly remodeled and had up to date smart features to include a large first screen TV, USB ports bedside, plenty of dresser and closet/storage space, well appointed bathroom and comfortable beds.Breakfast was great given COVID restrictions; choice of hot biscuit sandwiches along with other items. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
From the moment we walked in til we left we felt right at home. This hotel was safe, clean, bright, cheery and the staff was so friendly. They offer a great continental breakfast all while keeping things under Covid rules.
Visually appealing, Tv comes with hdmi hook up, and there is a pool area. However, housekeeping never came to my room. Only had 2 small trash cans in the room and I requested a tub, but got a shower. For the price I expected better.
Enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, and had been sanitized. We were a late check-in, and the night clerk was very efficient and considerate and got us in our room and off to bed very quickly.
Though I am an avid IHG/Holiday Inn fan and Vacation Owner there are some HIE that are more fabulous than regular HI. And this Covington GA HIE is one of them. Great and friendly staff; awesome and very clean, nice sized room. I usually stayed at another HI Location not far from this one but after my stay here this is now my New Favorite HIE.
From jump everything was great. Every member of staff I encountered to the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas were excellent. You always have to worry when traveling and staying places of that you’re walking into, not here. Would highly recommend.
We came here for the vampire diaries tour and loved the small town of Covington. The hotel was clean and bright, very welcoming. Close to stores and restaurants we needed.

I cant say enough about this hotel. It was so clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bed is very tall for my 410 self, however there are stools on each side of the bed for people like me. I highly recommend this hotel.
The staff was welcoming and genuine. Rooms are consistently clean and comfortable. We always try to stay at a HIE when we travel for soccer tournaments every couple of months.
The breakfast food always ran out. You either show up first or get nothing at all. If breakfast is to be served for a specific time it should be available the whole time. No hot coffee available all day like most hotels have these days. Requested a crib when booking the hotel but then told there may be none available on check-in (they ended up finding one). This is something you want to know before showing up with a baby. Most of the staff do not even give customers a look when they walk through the front door.

We were visiting for my daughter’s birthday. Checking was very easy. Front guest clerk was very friendly. Bed was a little hard for my taste but my overall experience was great. Would definitely stay here again.
Every member of the staff were friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to take cate of all our needs. The only problem not resolved was the damaged American flag out front.
Stayed there several times in the past two years. Best holiday inn express, comparing with other holiday inn express that I stayed at. Clean, staff is very polite. Even the breakfast is better, has more options.It is quite new building, but this time I start to notice sign of wear and tear. But considering the covid going on, looks like theyve do their best.
We stay at the same hotel 4 times a year and love love love the Staff and cleanliness! My only complaint and feel bad for even complaining bc everything is well over expected, but after so many stays the cheap toilet seats and sinks that don’t drain have started to annoy me. Everything else is A1. Staff can’t be topped!
The hotel was clean easily assessable and comfortable. The staff was over all very courteous and very professional. The room was clean, well lit, and a lot of assessable sockets. The bathroom shower was the best part of my stay. The temperature was perfect, the glass doors were awesome, and there were plenty of towels and toiletries. The only thing I didn’t like was when they made the bed they did not change the sheets.
The hotel was nice and clean.. Great Service and clean room even though I found a roach on the pillow of one of the beds. I just throw my food away after that. I took a picture of the roach and showed it to the desk clerk and she moved me to another room. When I went to the other room I was looking everywhere to make sure there wasn’t nothing in there. But other than that it was a nice stay.

The staff overall was excellent. Victoria and Punam were amazing and helped me out a lot. The hotel room was very clean, the food was really good, overall and excellent hotel.
I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and that I was able to email in advance and ask for 2 adjoining rooms. I was traveling from Italy so emailing was much easier for me. It was well worth the price and even though the breakfast options have changed the representative working was pleasant and very helpful.
This hotel was very conveniently located to all that we wanted to do on Covington. We went there for my daughter’s 13 birthday to see the setting of Vampire Diaries. Emilee and Victoria were so helpful answering all our questions. They had so much information to share with us and both of them had wonderful attitudes. Thank you!
Great clean place with the best staff I have ever had at a hotel, even better than the Hilton and I love them too. The rooms are always clean, breakfast is good and served until 10 am, fitness center is opened 24 hours, and the pool has always been clean. Great job Holiday Inn keep up the great work. The kitchen staff is so nice and do a wonderful job so far I have met D, Maria, and Samantha. You can definitely rely on them to show you the service and hospitality you expect from a Holiday In.
This was the first time we had stayed at this property. The price was reasonable with our discount. Everywhere we encountered was very clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so good and provided many choices, with different hot foods each day. The beds were comfortable and pillows were marked soft or firm. Toiletries were very high quality! We really enjoyed staying here.
This hotel is very nice. Located central to many restaurants and amenities. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was the water pressure in the shower. I could have done better with a spray bottle. Dont know if this was just my room or the entire hotel but it was almost unusable.

I was very impressed with my recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Covington. Our room and bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. We had no issues with noise disturbances. A HOT breakfast was served every morning. Everyone from the staff to the guest we encountered were pleasant and friendly. Any time any of the food items ran out the kitchen attendant quickly replenished them. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.
I stay at this hotel pretty frequently over the past 4 years and all my experiences are fantastic. The receptionist are always nice and the place is always clean which I appreciate even during Covid-19 new precautions are in place, but its still very much a normal experience.
This Holiday Inn was recommended by a family member. The location was great. It was in an area close to restaurants and shopping areas. The hotel grounds were well groomed, and the staff very professional. Several family members ended up staying at the same location. Plan to stay again when I am in the area.
This was just an overnight stay on our way home from a week away. We wanted a little time in Covington and decided to spend the night. The hotel and staff made us feel comfortable and welcomed. We enjoyed everything and truly wished we spent longer than just a night. A great made to order breakfast was provided even in a difficult time like this. Seeing smiles from staff was great too !!!
There was so much going on on the first night. The shower handle was broken, the room was stink, the pillowed and covers had hair as if they didn’t wash them after the people that left, the refrigerator kept falling apart and there were roaches the first night had to wake up at 5 and start packing, not great. Wish I can give it a worse rating.
The Holiday Inn Express is like many of the others - it was clean and well cared for. It had all the right amenities, such as a washer/dryer so I could wash/dry my clothes, breakfast, clean room and brightly colored décor. I would recommend to anyone.
I had the opportunity to stay here for a few days, while in town for business. Everyone made me feel welcome and really went above and beyond to make sure I had the ultimate experience. The room was nice and clean, the staff were quiet and they also allowed an early check-in after being exhausted from the traveling. I look forward to visiting again soon!
I have stayed at quite a few hotels for business, though this trip was personal. This is one of the nicer hotels that I have stayed at. The room was large and spacious, the bed was comfortable. The only issue I had was the water pressure for the shower. It was a bit low, usable but could have been higher for a better shower.
I enjoyed my stay. The staff is courteous and very friendly and helpful. They do a great job of keeping the hotel clean and sanitized. The hotel is located centrally near food, shopping, and not far from the downtown square. I would recommend this hotel highly.
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Covington Ga this past weekend for my sons wedding. The check in staff could be more welcoming and enthusiastic.On the other hand all of the other staff were extremely helpful-asking about our stay and what they could do to help us. Our air conditioner was not working when we got there and it was fixed within 20 mins of our phone call! Great service! I was disappointed with the way our rooms were arranged. I blocked off 10 rooms for a wedding months ago. Not one room was near another one-we were scattered all over the hotel. Not what I expected. Breakfast is fantastic!!
This was a very great place to spend the night, great services. There are some of the most comfortable beds iv ever slept in, the showers were quite larger then what I’m use too. It has kept plenty of hot water and was big enough for me to walk around in and clean up ect, other then that it was a very great place to be!
My wife picked this hotel for my son and I and she really made a great choice! It was reasonably priced and had everything we could want. It was clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and professional. We had a great nights sleep. My son appreciated the free WiFi and I loved the free breakfast. We will use this hotel the next time we need to stop in the area again.

This facility is clean and well kept. The room was very comfortable and clean as well. The only negative that I would point out is that the mini fridge in the room did not get cold at all even after I adjusted the knob on the unit. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory and the staff that managed this was extremely attentive. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
Thank you for making us feel welcome. Everyone we encountered was there to make guests feel as comfortable as possible. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchenette area was exactly what we needed for quick meals in-between local hikes and small-town strolling. While all of us are adapting throughout this time, we did as well and chose to forgo housekeeping during our 3-night visit. Honestly, we really dont need people cleaning up after us every day during normal circumstances so we usually skip housekeeping service every other day during a hotel visit. Perhaps the hotel can have trash collection and provide clean trash bags each day to help with this self-maintenance. I know that as more IHG properties open up, they will work on a better plan to replace/modify the breakfast buffet as well. During our visit it was a breakfast to go with a bottle of water, 3 sugary snacks, and in one bag, a rotten banana (the other bag no fruit at all). Thankfully there is an Aldi next door so we bought nutritious breakfast items to keep in the fridge during our stay and skipped the hotel breakfast. Stay healthy everybody, well get through this.
Upon arrival I was able to check in early without making previous arrangements. The welcoming staff member was extremely friendly and helpful as far as making recommendations as of things to do and places to eat around Covington. The room was exceptionally clean and measures had been taken to prevent the spread of germs.

Multiple bags that could require a luggage cart may dull the initial impression of the brand new hotel and grounds. The friendly staff are very kind and welcoming, even when they assisted with the luggage and dinner the luggage cart expelled into the foyer. I have stayed in HIExpress locations for business over the past 3 years and this is the first time I have encountered these 3 wheeled carriages.The facility is pristine which is closely matched by the hospitality of the staff. The custom built wall mounted desk and dresser are a welcome change to the stand alone units. The flat screen is wall mounted and not bolted to the dresser top. The slider type door to the bathroom will injure a roommate in the fridge, but the privacy wall for the bathroom is much nicer than before.Once you find your way to the bed everything that may have given you pause up to now will dissipate. This part of the upgraded stay will be memorable. The mattress and linens are the best I have felt in all the locations so far. If you rented the room for a good nights sleep, you will be pleased with the result.Breakfast is on par with every other branch which is hands down the best included with your stay meal you can find at the price point. It is slightly short of a restaurant, and a cut above a buffet.
The Covington Holiday Inn Express has the nicest staff! Very accommodating and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and quiet; bed was super comfy. Convenient to everywhere I needed to be. Reservation clerk on duty when I arrived was especially helpful, as I needed to add a night and coordinate my rooms location with those of my family coming a day later. My kids and grandkids really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the pancake maker! All in all, a positive experience.
I came for a weekend to relax. My wife and I just recently lost our baby, and we needed to just simply get out of Charleston and relax. So we came to Covington Ga to do so and boy were we able to relax here. The staff made it feel very welcoming, and was able to give us one more night on such short notice. Me being in the military and seeing how everything is hurry up and wait, I liked the fact that when I called down it was a yes we will convert you stay till tomorrow, instead of a hold on let me check and then wait for 15 minutes as it has been in the past for many of my hotel stays over the years. But my wife and I thank this holiday inn staff for making us feel welcome.
Our recent stay (this is our 3rd) at this hotel was not a disappointment. We have family in Covington so the location is convenient to them and to I-20. Building and gounds always look well kept and welcoming. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed. I am a loyal member of other large chains and have not stayed in a Holiday Inn in probably 30 plus years. The property was immaculate and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. I stayed in a king suite. Nice room size, great shower with a glass sliding door instead of a shower curtain. Very nice. Would highly recommend.
Overall very satisfied with the hotel. Very clean and safe. Only area for Improvement is the breakfast variety. I would like to see the original full breakfast options. It was very limited and had small servings.
This was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel is very, very nice. Loved the Christmas decorations. Staff is great. My room was excellent -- lots of room, comfortable bed, and a large bathroom. The only thing I can think to change is the breakfast -- waffles instead of pancakes! Great stay.
🤔🤔 Where to start there was nice reception,but I was a single female and literally put on the top floor and at the VERY END of the hall. My room literally smelled like an old folks home, additionally the individual lotion was used.As if these wasnt enough 50% of the staff is obnoxiously rude. I couldnt wait to leave.
My only complaint is, due to Covid-19, their kitchen was not operating as normal so breakfast was running very slow and many people were waiting so we had to get breakfast on the road somewhere to not be held up any longer. If youre going to offer a warm breakfast to your paying customers, you should have more people working in your kitchen to make it happen.

Stopped for the night on our way back home to Texas. After a long day of rain on the road it was wonderful to find such a great hotel at a great price. We were able to get a good dinner at a neighboring Chilies. The room was wonderful and the beds are very comfortable. I particularly appreciated the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The staff was great as well!!
The overall experience was excellent. The lobby is large, modern, and bright. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I love the walk in shower/ease-of-use and a large area. The breakfast was very tasty, but it was missing biscuits and gravy. This is the best holiday in express I’ve ever had the privilege to stay in.
While you may find yourself spending a little more money, I believe it’s worth it. The hotel is updated, covid conscious, and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. Originally, I had reservations at another close by hotel and I had to leave because of how disgusting it was. We were very lucky this holiday inn was close by.
I love a good discount so my only wish is that my stay cost a little less. Or the price stayed the same and my breakfast was more for my diet. Like smoothies egg ithout cheese or turkey sausage available. I understood due to the pandemic breakfast was limited but I don’t care for heavy cheese also they didn’t have any almond milk. So either rooms under $100 or balance my rate with a breakfast I can enjoy.
We were fortunate to get a room without a reservation, since it was an unplanned stop on our trip. We were very pleased with the clean, almost new hotel close to I-20. Room was very fresh, no odors, clean and comfortable beds. Good WiFi, TV, slept very well. Nice hot breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff.
We had a pipe burst in our home and were left without water for the night. We showed up here, the girls in the front were very sweet and accommodating. The rooms are stocked and clean and the toiletries are nice 👍🏻Complimentary breakfast this morning was pretty standard for a hotel breakfast. The dining area was immaculate and again, the staff is so friendly. I became an IHG member last year and haven’t stayed anywhere else since. I appreciate this culture of this chain!

The front desk were very polite and attentive , the room were clean and comfortable, the parking lot was limited and had no space for my trailer. The breakfast was poor, but overall the stay was very good!
Staff was amazing and friendly hotel was clean room was amazingly clean and very updated modern but the king size bed had a huge hole in it and the staff didnt offer any compensation I didnt even complain about it I sucked it up and I slept in it and when I told him about it at checkout they didnt offer anything
I had to come back to the area for a second surprise business trip. The previous hotel I had stayed at and enjoyed was booked, so I stayed here. This hotel was brand sparkling new! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and all greeted me whenever I was in their presence. A special shoutout to Kimberly who checked me in early as she was trying to process everyone who was checking out. She was patient and accommodating and extremely helpful. The room was very nice and clean; all of the recent remodeling and upgrades were wonderful. I used the workout room while I was there, and while it didnt have the usual equipment I use (not surprising, Im extra like that), I was able to get in a good workout every morning. Absolutely a horrible experience. Check in was a nightmare bc they changed check in policy due to covid but failed to mention those changes while making the reservation over the phone. Morning one...no hot water...finally got switched to a new room...room was cleanish....there was long dark hairs all over counters....come back to room after a long day and thr ac doesnt work. They refused to move use rooms and said nobody could fix it until morning. Antonio (front desk guy) said I should have thought about checking to see if it worked earlier.
I was very satisfied with the check in as well as my experience. The room was very clean and the bathroom was as well. My family and I was visiting for a wedding and the stay relieved stressed. The beds were very comfortable.
No ac and staff did not care to assist until new room demanded. Moved to room that was not of my choice. Packed up luggae at Midnight (took this long for staff) and moved. Up at 4AM to work. Misearble stay
The room was very clean including the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. It seemed a bit humid in the room but the temp said 72° and it was cool. Maybe its just a result of very hot weather outside. Breakfast was sufficient but I dont consider myself a picky eater. I would stay here again. We have no complaints about the staff here.
I had an event in the meeting room of the Hotel. My guests and I stayed over night. We had an awesome time/stay at the hotel. The hotel was spotless! The bed was very comfortable! I wanted to take the pillows home with me because they were so fluffy! The staff: Kimberly (Director of Sales), Delano (front desk), Tyra (front desk), Devin(maintenance), Housekeeping and Food and Service staff were all exceptional and gave Excellent service!!The hotel is fairly new, so the furniture etc. is very modern and up to date which we loved!! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that I know, and would definitely stay again.
We booked multiple rooms for our daughters wedding guests to stay and everything was very nice and clean. The hotel staff was very kind, patient, and helpful. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfasts were great.
The Refrigerator and the Microwave didnt work. I had been driving about 10.5 hrs. and 2.5 hrs. in stand still on I-20. The food we pick up for dinner was cold. And get to the room and the Microwave didnt work. I got in a real bad mood. And the price for the room was way over priced. I feel that a rebate should be given.
The best experience ever! We rented their meeting room for a wedding party and it was amazing. Always ask for Mrs Kimberly Day, a top of the line professional who ensures all your needs are met. Trust me you wont regret it 💯
Overall this location is pretty nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful except that I didn’t get a bath mat or enough bath towels the last day/night of my stay. Bathroom toiletries need to be upgraded. With limited space in my business carryone luggage, I still have to carry my own shampoo and conditioner because I can’t use their products on my moderately dry, very curly hair. Also, covered parking and an bar/dining options would be nice for day and evening.
I liked this hotel. There is plenty of parking and an eatery and Walmart nearby. The place is spotless and everything still looks new here. The rooms are nice and spacious and the breakfast crew and cleaning crew were super friendly. I will definitely come back the next time we need a room in the area. I had stopped using Holiday Inn Express for a while but forgot what I was missing so I will add them back to my list from now on. The only negative thing I did notice was that the front desk staff doesnt go out of their way to greet or speak to you, in fact they didnt say anything until I did. Not a good first impression. Also, the hot water in the shower took a LONG time to get hot, my husband noticed the same thing.
I enjoyed my stay and will request this hotel the next time corporate sends me to the local office. beds are very comfortable (real pillows, not those tiny ones that seem to be the norm now) room was clean and updated (hotel may be new as far as i can tell). breakfast was about what youd expect, serviceable and thats really all i needed. the person in the next room really liked their music in the morning but they were quite at night and that isnt the hotels issue anyway. I will definitely stay here the next time Im in town.
Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very up to date and no appliances were outdated. Very good size room and comfortable bed. The bathroom was by far nicest hotel bathroom I have seen. The continental breakfast went above and beyond expectations for a hotel breakfast and had a great variety. In a good area and several things near hotel. Overall we were very impressed and happy with our stay here!
We had a great stay! Very nice clean hotel overall. My only complaint would be the shower pressure is non-existent. Staff was nice, rooms were clean, the rest of the facility was nice/clean, breakfast was amazing! We will definitely be back!To all the smokers: this is a smoke-free facility, no smoking on the premises not even on the patio or by the pool. Us non-smokers thank you for your cooperation!
Staff was courtesy, polite, and helpfully. The lobby was very clean and nice. Rooms were spacious and accommodating which made relaxing very easy. Rooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.
We were greeted at the front desk with a smile and a very quick check-in. We were even asked to help decorate the Christmas tree with one of their ornaments. Our room was new, fresh and modern. Great TV and internet. The bathroom was beautiful and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were perfect. Breakfast was hot and fresh with lots of choices. The staff very friendly and helpful. The dining area was airy, bright and very clean. Check-out was a breeze. This was a great experience, and we will look forward to staying at a Holiday Inn Express in the future!

I visited this hotel from Texas. At the time Georgia had no mask mandate. The hotel had a sign up saying something to the effect that your face needs to be covered upon entering the hotel. I dont remember exact wording, but it was worded as mandatory and not voluntary. There were several guest walking around public spaces without a face covering and staff said nothing. Also the first two days I stayed there front desk staff and housekeeping staff members did not wear face coverings. After I mentioned this to front desk personnel, it seemed that most staff members started wearing face coverings. Coming from Texas where businesss are enforcing mask mandates to Georgia where there is no mandate, and businesss that require mask upon entry but do not abide by their own policy nor enforce it was disheartening. With all that said the front desk staff and housekeeping staff that assisted me with my needs were very accommodating and nice. Thank You.
I am a 64 year old woman traveling alone and can be a bit hard to please. Everything about my stay here exceeded my expectations! Beautiful lobby! My room was just perfect! Just inside the door is a small corner shelf just perfect for dropping off my purse and small bag. Bathroom was again, perfect. Large shower, very easy to maneuver for people with mobility issues. The king bed was a DREAM. Plenty of pillows, nice linens. The hotel itself is VERY conveniently located. Plenty of restaurants and a Wal-Mart near by. I am very happy with my stay!
We had a brief stay for a one day sports tournament. Front desk staff was super friendly from check in to check out. Rooms were clean and super comfortable. We enjoyed a quick healthy bite to eat before heading out to the fields. We will definitely stay again for any future tournaments!
Everything was great, except no exhaust fan in bathroom (which I dont understand why hotels are not installing these anymore).The bathroom counter wasnt finished construction-wise, there was no cubby hole underneath, and therefore no hair dryer - but was provided one when we asked the staff.The thermostat has very basic/limited controls for the heating/cooling unit.The tub surface felt as if it wasnt cleaned very thoroughly.Its a relatively new hotel, so overall was a pretty good stay.
Great location. Everything you need is within walking distance. The room was great and had USB charging ports along with regular plugs on the nightstands for easy charging/convenience. Loved the barn door that opened up the service area with coffee, refrigerator, microwave and shelves for storage and then also served as the door for the restroom. Loved the shower and bathroom area. Lots of counter space and extra towels. Nice closet area with safe right in the room. Had a great time and the stay was great from start to finish! Thank you.
I always choose Holiday Inn express no matter where I’m traveling. Great breakfast, clean and comfortable. Covington was no exception. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this location.
Overall it was a good 1 night stay. Clean room and spacious room. Bathroom layout was good. Location was great with many places to eat and the Walmart nearby. Hotel lobby was nice and employees very nice.

2022-02-16Very clean and updated rooms. The shower was weak but the design was spacious, I liked the curved glass door.The staff was friendly and they bought a bunch of pizza for three Superbowl.The modern washer and dryer had my clothes clean in an hour and a half. Not bad for $3I couldnt figure out the fire tables on the patio but I didnt ask anyone either. It was so nice to sit outside on a Saturday night.

2022-03-13Loved this hotel! Stayed here for a quick getaway to explore Covington and the staff were amazing! They were so accommodating! We had a late check in after a long drive and the staff got us checked in quickly and even gave me a tooth brush since I had forgotten to pack one! We also wanted to indulge a little since it was so warm for the weekend of our stay and lay out by the pool to soak up the sun. The staff graciously unlocked the pool area for us to lay, brought us extra towels and even cleaned the pool for us in case we were brave enough to take a dip!! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and always had a smile. I hate that I didn’t get any names but every employee was wonderful. Will definitely be back!

2022-06-22My family has been out of their home due to a flood and have been staying here for almost 2 months. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and safe. Only issue is you have to request a room cleaning ahead of time and the one time we did request, nobody came.The pool and firepit area is great for gathering!

Their customer service truly makes your hotel stay a home away from home. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

2022-06-18My familys check in was supposed to be on Friday evening. We called and told them we would be a late check in. The lady said she would put it in. Get there and they gave our room to someone else so we were told we could do an early check in on Saturday. Get there at lunch time and the room isnt ready. Waited until 2pm still not ready. Finally able to check in our room Saturday at 3pm that we had booked for Friday. We had a wedding to attend and get ready for so it made us in a rush. The desk clerk couldve care less to accommodate. Worst experience with a hotel weve had.

2022-04-13I did not stay at this hotel! However when I walked into the hotel, I was greeted with a smile and friendly greeting. I was a bit confused as I thought they moved something. I asked if they still had cookies, and she went into the kitchen area and got me a couple. I started up the elevator and to the 4th floor. I suddenly became aware that I wasnt at the right hotel. It was next door. From what I could see, the hotel was clean, well kept, and had a staff member who was accommodating! Thank you! All had a good laugh!
