Holiday Inn Valdosta Conference Center, an IHG Hotel in Valdosta

There are no bells and whistles at this hotel. What I liked was: the room was large, the location was great for what I needed. The staff were friendly and accommodating. And for the most part, the room was clean. What I didnt care for were: the room layout, dark interior, lighting, and low ceiling (it feel like a tunnel); the carpet and furnishings were stained; and the bed pillows were uncomfortable. Also, as an FYI, the breakfast isnt complimentary (unless you pay extra in your lodging) and the food is mediocre.
The staff was, and has always been, extremely helpful. They have a culture of yes, meaning anything you ask for they will find a way to make it work. I have run events at the Holiday Inn for five years running now, and the outstanding attitude of the staff is why I keep coming back.
Had called the Holiday inn regarding some booking for an event about two weeks ago, did not hear back from the person who handles that department and so I had to followed up by quiet a few phone calls and went in person to see if he was available. He was out of office, but had someone else who was able to help us with the rooms but had told us that will let the same person know to get in touch with us. Have not heard and have been calling to follow up with them. Seems like the person is always out of office or not available. Am not happy with the way this has been handled which is close to no response.
I have traveled throughout the US for almost 30 years and am a creature of habit when it comes to staying at the same hotel once I know its a good one.Been staying at the Holiday Inn Conference Center for many years whenever Im in Valdosta GA. The hotel is great.I have enjoyed meals inside the hotel but there are also some grade A local restaurants nearby as well (Austins steak house and Bubba Jax seafood). Sometimes me & the wife will make a 4 hr trip to Valdosta just for the food and stay at this Holiday Inn.
My stay was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Upon leaving the following morning I checked out and the room was to be paid with my points. A few days later I saw a charge on my credit card that was pending now being moved to being authorized. I quickly sent an e-mail to the hotel at 6:38 a.m. but did not get a response. The following day I contacted the hotel and requested to have the GM call me back for an explanation. Later that day someone else from the hotel called and explained that they will be processing a refund. I inquired why no one replied to my e-mail and why the GM didnt call me back. My rating for a 1 was due to an authorized charge to my credit card and poor customer service. If I dont check my charges I would have paid for something that I shouldnt have. When I asked the person that called me why no one replied to my e-mail, there was no valid reason provided. A call from the GM would be greatly appreciated.
Positive: Location Negative: At check in, I was out in a room that had a guest in it already (He was shocked when I walked in). Next room poorly cleaned, hair on 2 towels and tub as well as sheets on 1 bed. Found dirty Sox from prev guest. Asked for a call from mgr at ch out/NO CALL
I purchased the ungraded room suite for some extra room. When I got to the room I was appalled by the overall cleanliness of the room. The sink area and countertop was quite dirty and sticky as I it hadnt been cleaned in a very long. The inside of the refrigerator was in the same condition. The carpet also looked like it hadnt been vacuumed. I was moved to another room which was ok. I think you need to do a better job inspecting the cleaning prior to putting customers in a room.
We are regular guests at this hotel site in Valdosta as we travel from Atlanta to Florida. The value is good, the breakfast is terrific with a longstanding employee always there to greet us with a smile, and the beds are comfortable. Some rooms are quieter than others- if you need quiet, just ask for a room higher up and towards the ends. One time we stayed near the pool and it was a bit loud late into the evening. People were having fun!
This hotel gets way more than 5 stars. It hits every bullet point we require. The room size was more than adequate. We loved the bathroom and especially the walk in shower. The furnishings were tasteful and NOT TOO MODERN. The bed was super soft and snuggly comfortable. The black out curtain/shades were incredibly effective. Every clerk we encountered smiled broadly and asked if we needed anything. This hotel should teach all other brands how to make the guest feel welcome and to provide a comfortable room with a reasonable price. Way to go!
Positive: front desk person, very nice and professional and helpful. beds were very comfortable, had enough room. Negative: room needed high dusting, caulking, small leak in sink had to turn it off just right before stop dripping. missed sweeping behind toilet in cleaning. Needed a small table next to one of the beds instead of just the center one between the beds.
Cleanliness was not a highlight in my stay. I had to be moved to a different room after finding feces and urine had been left in the toilet all day. My second room had mold in the shower, so had to wait to get home to shower. The area made me nervous as well. There were a lot of homeless people on this exit, so would not recommend this hotel at all.
We decided to do a getaway before our kids headed back to school. They have never been to Wild Adventures, so we packed up and headed to Valdosta. Being a travel agent I had a few options to pick from and something just stood out about this hotel. Im so glad I chose for us to stay here. The staff was awesome. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast was good, but dinner was a miss. We will definitely stay here again when we visit and I highly recommend to others.
This is a relatively new hotel but the room I had (401?) was pitiful! The mattress was lumpy with zero lumbar support! The love seat was worn and sagging on the end! The thermostat was inoperable! My intuition is this isn’t an isolated situation so, hopefully, mgmt will address the aforementioned issues and make this hotel great again!
The room was sizable but needed a lot of TLC. Carpet desperately needed vacuuming, the refrigerator didnt work, and other areas of the room and bathroom needed cleaned. While some people may not notice, I look for cleanliness wherever I go. For one night, it was acceptable for sleeping, but would need to be vacuumed for a longer stay. We are breakfast in the hotels restaurant but would probably skip it if we go there again. Although the waitress was good, it was very understaffed and the portions were small.
The Holiday Inn is located at 1805 W Hill Ave, Valdosta, GA 31601 I went for a few conferences in their meeting📠📱🖋️📑🗂️📉 rooms. I must say this established🏫 has top notch service for whatever you maybe looking for during your stay. The conference room areas are always kept nice and clean. There is convenient parking .
I can highly recommend this hotel. My husband and I had a very large, handicapped accessible room. He used a motorized wheelchair and the extra room made it easy to move around . The shower was huge and also accessible. The grounds and common areas were very nice and clean. Very nice staff also.
We have stayed many times. The location is close by Wild Adventures, after an exhausting day, this hotel provides pleasant staff, clean rooms, and comfortable beds! The staff has gone out of their way to make sure everything meet or exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend them And the convenience of the Azalea restaurant is very nice. The food and service are great and the prices are very reasonable!
Not a bad place to lay your head. Had to move rooms because our first one had a leaking refrigerator and the whole floor smelled like mildew. Not a problem though, the staff were amazing and the restaurant had great food and service. As an IGH member, Id stay here again. It was quiet and as expected, dark rooms made for great sleep!
The staff here couldnt have been nicer. This hotel is a regular annual stop on the way south, but we are adding it to being a regular stop on our way back north. Were platinum elite members of IHG so our accommodations got a very nice upgrade. Its really nice that once you arrive, you have no need to go back out for supper. You can eat right in Azaleas restaurant within the hotel. And, if you need a strong drink after a hectic days drive, theres a bar too! 🙂
Checked into room and it hadn’t been cleaned, Beds hadn’t been made the second room had a dirty towel on the floor of the shower third room (which we stayed in 4 nights) had mold around the shower glass and door. The staff was nice and courteous but the room needed a complete cleaning.
I giving this hotel a 4 stars for their customer services and hospitality. Unfortunately, my reservations was messed up and our rooms weren’t clean. They immediately moved my family and I to the correct rooms and sent cleaning services up right away. They were very understanding and because of the issue they accommodated us. After they had fixed the issues, my family and I had a very pleasant stay! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who looking for a nice place to stay with good customer service. Kentaia and Melissa were wonderful!!
Staff was very nice and welcoming however I am giving this stay 2 stars because my room is filthy. The dust on the surfaces is so thick it looks like the last visitors wrote a message in the dust but the cleaning staff still missed it. I can’t stop sneezing and feel itchy. I wiped some important surfaces with Lysol and sprayed as much as I can but I honestly feel like they need to deep clean and sanitize rooms especially since we’re amongst COVID-19.
We are HICV Owners. So, we almost always stay at a Holiday Inn when we travel. They have the most amazing beds! I wish they still included at least a light breakfast, but most don’t anymore. Otherwise, the hotel was clean, staff was super courteous and helpful, the accommodations definitely met our needs. This was our second time staying at this property and I have no doubt that we will be back.
Drove up to Valdosta to see my husband who drive trucks, we decided to get a room at holiday inn because I always had good experiences with them but this time at this particular hotel wasnt so good. Coming in, the elevator was dirty walls and floor, exiting off the elevator I noticed the hallway floors was extremely dirty, like it havent been vacuumed for weeks. My husband said when he went to get our luggage out the car he walked past a employee that smell like weed. We enter the room and I was disappointed because the floors in the room was also dirty with food crumbs, small pieces for tissue I assumed. The refrigerator door dirty. The shower curtain dirty. Had to ask for a remote for the TV. The bed was clean and comfortable.
We stayed at this location for one night in our way down to Florida. During our stay we did have an issue with the cleanliness of our room. The floors did not appear to have been swept and I found trash behind the side table and large pieces of food on the floor. Since we were traveling with our toddler, the food on the floor was a huge problem. The staff at this location was very friendly and helpful. I brought the issue to their attention and the problem was fixed immediately and I was so thankful. Overall our stay was good and I would stay here again.
The rooms were very dirty (literally every bed in the room had some sort of stain on it ) and overall the staff was very unfriendly. I was promised extra sheets (which I didn’t get) and a roll away bed. After waiting for the rollaway bed for a while, I went down to the desk to ask about it. The gentleman who had just come in for his shift (I’m guessing… it was the first time I had seen him) Got a pretty bad attitude and kept telling me that a bed wouldn’t fit in there. He kept asking me “how in the world are you going to fit a bed in that room?” I just kept telling him that the girl that worked before him said that one would fit, so I assumed it would. That simply shouldn’t be an option if it won’t fit into the rooms, and they certainly shouldn’t be as rude about it as he was.I was charged for the rollaway bed even though I didn’t receive it. I asked about the charge before I left the hotel, and even called after I got home and noticed that the charge with the rollaway bed went through my bank. At this point I’m willing to just lose the $15 to not have to deal with the hotel again. The ironic thing is that they were shooting a fancy commercial the morning that we left, but the quality of that commercial is certainly going to be much higher than the quality of my experience there. Also, for what it’s worth, the girl working behind the desk before 10pm was very nice and courteous. I don’t want her to be included in my comments about the hotel staff.
On our way to Florida we stopped at holiday inn because we thought it would be nicer than any other hotel but when we got to our room the toilets haven’t been cleaned in a very long time. There was also tons of hair on the bathroom floor. Staff was decent but overall just an average dirty bathroom experience.
Enjoyed my short stay but my late check in was problematic and was improperly charged for entire room on credit card that should have only been charged for incidentals as room was booked and paid for. Seem to have gotten it straightened out though. Didn’t see or wasn’t told of breakfast options - walked to Wendy’s across busy street. Room was spacious and bed was most comfortable I think I’ve ever slept on.
Room was clean, hotel was quiet and bed was comfortable. The check in staff was friendly and you could tell they cared. The restaurant had an awesome burger and beer special the night we were there. The waitress made my kids feel special at breakfast the next morning. And their meal was free! We will be back.
The manager was very rude and inconsiderate and we had to wait before checking in which was supposed to be at 3 pm but we didn’t get checked in until 3:45! We were hot and tired already from the 7 hour drive we had to get there and it was 99 degrees outside! The room was still not ready when we got upstairs because housekeeper was still cleaning. Then we were there three nights and received no cleaning service for cleaning room, only gave us towels and rags. So we stayed with trash and a pile of dirty towels and rags in the way! I was very disappointed and disgusted with the service here. For the money it seems we would have gotten a way better experience. Will not stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay. The only problem we had was not receiving extra sheets we asked for and having to go back the next day and ask again, but we did end up getting them after that. We were there from a Friday to a Sunday and no one came to clean the room or restock that Saturday, which was fine other then us needing extra coffee. Overall, we had a good experience and will be staying again.
Samantha, in the restaurant, was amazing. She was one of the best servers my family has ever had. She was the only bright spot on an otherwise dark experience. We arrived and found out upon entering our room that the themed room we requested, no longer existed. I understood we used a 3rd party to book so I didnt hold that against you. However, the room was dirty. Very dirty. Floor was not vacuumed, plastic utensils were broken and laying all over, had trash under the sink and in the pull out bed. Bathroom was dirty and had no toilet paper. I called the desk to ask if someone could clean it while my family and I went to dinner. The employee who answered was very rude and after I explained the situation, told me there was nothing she could do as the maids had left for the day. I told her that was unacceptable and she said hang on in a rude manner and put me on hold until the manager answered. He was polite and did the best he could. He changed our room for us and gave 2 free drinks. I dont drink but we got the kids a OJ from the bar. During that experience the bar tender was outside for over 10 minutes while I stood waiting to order. He came back inside and didnt apologize for that wait either. Just made the comment it had been a long day. The new room we were given had been cleaned at least, but it smelled horrible. Like milk had spoiled and sat in the sun for days! We walked past maids and other employees during our visit and not a single one could be bothered to say hello. Thank you Samantha, you made a poor visit bearable. My kids still talk about you.
We have been staying at this facility for years and years passing through on family trips to FL. Tullis, the manager on duty during our stay was incredibly warm, caring and attentive to our needs as our child became unexpectedly ill during our stay. We are grateful to Tullis and the entire staff’s help during our stay. Did I mention that a major motion picture was being filmed in the lobby during our visit? I’m not even sure the staff at the hotel were aware until the last minute and did the best they could to continue great service during the filming.
I checked in late because I was working at the local Lowe’s home improvement store. The young lady at the desk was very friendly and we had an awesome conversation as I was checking in. I got to the room and it was very clean and the bed slept great. I woke up refreshed and ready to take on another day. Thanks for an awesome experience.
Terrible Stay! Rude, deceptive and we will never visit again! We reserved the 2 Bedroom, but beware, it is not a 2-bedroom, it is a 1-bedroom! ..with a couch pull out trundle bed. Also, it doesn’t matter if you check in on the app and select a room, if they’d rather not have you there to reduce their footprint, they’ll move you anyways.Room was not super clean and everything seems out of date. The second day there (full day staying at the hotel) we came off the elevator in the early morning to a giant production crew. Was never informed that would be happening or to be aware they’d be in the building. When I tried to come back after lunch to our room, someone was inside the side door holding it shut. Her face was blocked by the sign, but when we knocked and showed her our key she stuck her finger up at us. After standing in the sun for 9 minutes I asked if there was another door I could use. I was there with my 4 small children, including a baby and toddler overdue for a nap. Again we received the finger up, and no other response. After 12 minutes, she finally opens the door, doesn’t apologize, but says, “they’re filming down the hall, keep it down and use the stairs”…wow! I paid money to be treated like that and for a room that I couldn’t access at all times, I ended up carrying two kids up 4 flights of stairs while my preschoolers whined behind me because they had to carry the bags I was holding previously. To top it off, when I arrived the first day, I was checking in, I noticed a sign at the door that said all patrons must wear a mask. So I threw mine on (having just come from NY, nothing was new there). But I noticed droves of people not wearing them, including the manager initially behind the counter when I walked in and the employee sitting at the desk next to the check in counter. So after getting my key, I asked if we could unmask if vaccinated (maybe they didn’t update their signs), and the receptionist immediately responded that everyone had to wear it at all times. I asked “just the guests then?” looking over at the employee right next to the lady I was speaking with and received the response “no, everyone, at all times”…so it’s just not enforced at all, between employees or guests. I am vaccinated so didn’t care but make up your mind on what your policy is and stick with your made up rules!
My service and the staff was overall Great but I experienced when people tell me that hotels don’t always change their linen... I sprayed down everything with Lysol when we first entered to be safe but later on when I went to get in the bed under the covers, my comforter smelled of stinking feet. I called front desk and made them aware of this and they brought me up clean linen to my room even though they did not put it on for me they did see to it that I had clean linen after calling and promptly. Overall, I had no complaints other than than the linen on the bed but I would definitely try them again cause this is my first bad experience since staying with them since 2010.
It was too cold in our room. Couldnt turn thermostat high enough. Handicapped husband couldnt get affected leg over bathtub in handicapped room. Shower head and parts werent clean. Needed water cups. Had only one pod of regular coffee. Nice size room. Price too high. Desk attendants effecient.
This was the filthiest hotel Ive been to and I am an avid business traveler. We are still coming out of a pandemic, hotel occupancies are still below 50% on average and this hotel couldnt even be bothered to clean our room before our arrival, which by the way, was at midnight so they had plenty of time to get the room ready. The first room they put us in looked fine. The bed was made, the coffee area looked tidy, the furniture was all in its place but once we began to unpack, the issues began. There was a used ice pack in the freezer, a used washcloth in the shower, opened and used shampoo & conditioner, the toilet was filthy and the bedsheets under the comforter were a mess and likely not clean. The room they moved us to, two floors down, was an upgraded, nicer room and looked clean but it was after midnight and we were exhausted. The next morning we discovered blue toothpaste on the wall of the bathroom, food crumbs behind the bench at the entryway, a large, sticky spot in the middle of the bedroom floor, and the bedroom A/C vent was covered in thick, grey dirt/dust/filth. At 8:45 am as I was leaving for my business meeting, I informed the front desk of the issues and requested housekeeping ASAP. I was informed that they would be in at 9:00 am and would be sent right up. My girlfriend was still in the room working and called me at 11:00 am to let me know that no one had been to the room. She then went down to the front desk to express her displeasure when she noticed that housekeeping was on our floor but working on other rooms at each end of the hallway. After complaining housekeeping, maintenance and a supervisor showed up and took care of the issues. As an apology, the manager on duty told me that I would receive 7,000 bonus points for each night of our stay (14,000 total). As of today, we have received no points.I can say that the people we dealt with from housekeeping and maintenance were fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. The rest of the staff (i.e. front desk attendant and manager on duty) were terrible. In addition, the entirety of the hotel was disgusting. If I were IHG, Id send someone down to inspect the hotel, initiate a PIP and potentially revoke the Holiday Inn flag. This hotel is a complete embarrassment to both IHG and the Holiday Inn and I will never stay here again.
The room I received 508, had an offensive Oder, carpet was filthy and old. My white socks ended up grayish to black. I have learned not go barefooted in any hotel while I travel. The dark grey interior paint in the room was very depressing after a long day. The food in the restaurant was very good.
We reserved the 2-bedroom, but beware, it is not a 2-bedroom, it is a 1-bedroom with a pullout couch trundle bed. When I arrived to check-in, I saw a sign beside the front door that said all patrons needed to wear a mask, so I put mine on and entered but noticed lots of people were not wearing masks, both guests and employees, including what looked to be a manager behind the counter. The receptionist checking me in had one on and I just traveled from New York, so it was nothing new or hard for me to keep it on those few minutes. I asked at the end after being handed our room keys if we had to wear masks if we were vaccinated and was told everyone had to wear them inside at all times. So I asked, just the guests then? looking over to the employee sitting next to the receptionist who wasnt wearing a mask at all while working and the receptionist replied, no everyone, at all times. I also had a guest walk up during this exchange of dialogue that did not have a mask on and start speaking to the second receptionist and nothing was said to her. I am vaccinated, so didnt care, but if you have a policy then enforce it (especially with your staff...lots of employees over my stay that werent wearing one or had it under their chin), or change your policy to reflect CDC and the presidents new guidance. Overall, very bad taste after staying and I will absolutely not revisit that establishment, but will try and stay away from all Holiday Inns in the future. The second day there, we came off the elevator in the morning to a giant production crew. No one informed us that would be happening and taking over the first floor of the hotel, there were no signs and no warning during check-in. When I tried to come back to our room after lunch, someone was inside the side door we were trying to enter holding it shut. Her face was blocked by the sign, but when we knocked and showed her our key she stuck her finger up at us. After standing in the sun for 9 minutes, I asked through the door if there was another door I could use as I was there with my 4 small children, including a baby and toddler overdue for their naps. Again, we received the finger up and no response. After 12 minutes, she finally opened the door and says, they are filming down the hall, keep it down and use the stairs here. I couldnt believe it. It was incredible rude and I cant believe as a customer service business, you wouldnt put someone in the sun outside the door explaining the situation and giving updates on when guests would be able to get back to their room. We paid money for that room and to not be able to access it, be treated that way and then not even an apology, that reflects so poorly on the management of the hotel. I ended up carrying two kids up the 4 flights of stairs while my preschoolers had to huff up the bags I was originally carrying.
We had to come into town because of a death in the family and this hotel was the only one that could offer what we needed. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms need a little updating, but were not too bad. The maid never cleaned our room for a 3 night stay and I kept having to ask for clean towels. By the time we returned to the room in the evening, it was always too late to ask for a cleaning.
This hotel was wonderful! The rooms were very spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable and even the pull out couch was pretty comfy. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and filling. The pool was such a fun bonus. We didnt think we would have time to swim but it was too good to pass up. We loved everything about this hotel and will be stopping here again in the future.
Positive: Clean, modern room. The bar and restaurant were a holiday accommodating for us on a late arrival. I was so impressed by the freshness of the room/hotel and the staff was accommodating at front desk, bar, restaurant. This was one of my best experiences Negative: All good-no complaints at all.
This was my first overnight business trip after the beginning of the pandemic. I was expecting to have a very clean room based on IHG Clean Promise. Cleaner than normal.Unfortunately I had bad experience at this hotel. The desk in my room had several dirty spots (looks like Ketchup). I was able to easily clean it using sanitizing wipes. I had to clean the entire room surfaces since I was not sure if the room was well cleaned or not, based on the desk situation.Im not a complainer at all, but I thought I had to write this review.Hope the hotels implement their promises and not keep it on paper only.At check out, I mentioned it to the guest services and hope the hotel improves their cleaning procedures.Hotel is renovated and rooms are comfortable. Very well location for travelers since is very close to I-75. There are good restaurants close by.
Our family of 5 reserved the family suite, room 608 for one night. The room was found to be subpar from a cleanliness standpoint. A clear wrapper, similar to a snack cake or similar type wrapper, was found next to pull out sofa. There were nerds candy found on the bathroom floor. The carpet appeared to be that it was not vacuumed. With the overall evidence of the appearance of the room, I did not have a warm and fuzzy feeling sleeping in the bed. To sleep fearing there are bud bugs was not ideal. For the record there was no evidence of bed bugs. I had to call the front desk for 3 sets of sheets for the pull out sofa and the trundle bed and only 2 were delivered. I had to call again for the 3rd set. We had both dinner/drinks and breakfast at the hotel restaurant which were great! no complaints. Weve stayed here at this very same Valdosta Holiday Inn in years past and never had a cleaning complaint. Bummer that the hot tub was closed due to covid.
This was not my first experience staying at this property. The first experience was good, which led me to make this reservation. However this was the stay that was a nightmare. The property lacks competent management. Ms Simmons did not want to be bothered with any problems. She completely failed at taking ownership in resolving the issues. She should find another line of work, definately not in customer service.
The appearance of the hotel is nice. I stayed at the Valdosta Georgia location. I always pull back the sheets when I enter a hotel room. I don’t care if it’s five star or three star. (I use to be a housekeeper). The sheets had stains that appeared to be blood or make up and holes in the sheet. That was disgusting. The bathroom shower was not clean sometimes shaved hairs was all over the soapdish. I didn’t get upset. I politely asked the front desk to come look at it. I was very satisfied the way the situation was handled. The girl at front desk said this was very unacceptable and gave me another room with a free breakfast coupon. (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name) Other
This was our first time staying at this property. We were a little surprised that the cleanliness was not up to par considering the ratings that this property received. You could see dirt and rust around the air conditioning unit inside the room by the window. The TV remote control was not in a sealed plastic bag. There were grease spots on the sofa chair. The carpet looked dingy. The bathroom was clean. We disinfected all the surfaces ourselves. The door to the room was not sealed and marked as disinfected. All other Holiday Inn Hotels that we stayed at offered this feature. Holiday Inn in Ocala, Florida and Holiday Inn in Wood Stock Georgia.
Room was dirty. Carpet extremely dirty.Bath room not properly cleaned or supplied. No shower curtain.Requested a shower curtain. Delivered in about an hour. Employee handed me the curtIn wadded up and kstated I cannot hang it for you, my hands are full. There was toilet paper stuck to the exhaust duct work on the ceiling.I observed two other guest complaining t I the front desk.Windows had finger prints and smeared food for a child.Wore white socks that were black from the dirty carpet. Will not stay here again.
The Holiday Inn in Valdosta was a welcome end to a very long day and it really fit the bill for a clean, quiet, friendly place to relax after a sometimes congested interstate and Mother Natures pounding rain. The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping and maintenance.
I booked a getaway trip for my daughter and neice and I must say we had an amazing time. We visited the Wild Adventure Amusement park and we had a blast. The hotel was so nice and clean. It has been remodeled and the decor is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and greeted us with a smile every time. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing and the kids eat free feature is like a breath of fresh air. The price for the room was affordable as well. I will definitely be back and next time Im staying longer.
After traveling all day, it was a relief to pull into the parking lot, gather up my needs to stay overnight and head inside. I was welcomed at the check-in area, thanked for being a priority member and headed up to my room. I have always requested a room near the elevator which I was given. The room was neat and had all amenities that I needed. I proceeded down to the lounge and relaxed with a Miller Lite and chatted with Hilde, the lady tending the bar. She remembered me from previous stays which was very pleasing to me. All rules pertaining to the corona virus were being followed. Later, I ordered room service for dinner and that was promptly delivered. Shortly after, it was bedtime in a very comfortable bed. Next morning, breakfast in the dining room, with great service there as well. Checking out was simple; my bill had been slipped under my bedroom during the evening and all I had to do was leave the room card with the desk clerk and thank him. Then, headed to my car to complete my trip to North Carolina.
The room was spacious and clean, This one was excellent! The beds were comfy and everything was very clean! We had the best customer service from Kena, at the front desk! She is awesome!! Went beyond normal duties to make sure we had everything we had forgotten to pack in our haste to get to the venue! Will recommend highly!
I stopped here on my way to Florida over the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff were incredibly welcoming! I was concerned about a rather loud guest that was in the room across the hall from me. I brought my concern to the attention of the front desk staff, and they were empathetic and took my comments seriously. (This guest actually left the premises.) Afterwards, my stay was quiet and peaceful. The room furnishings are newer and the accommodations were quite nice. Breakfast was tasty, too! This hotel is well situated off I-75, with restaurants and gas stations (several) nearby. This will be my go-to stop-over from now on!
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Plenty of safety precautions were in place due to Covid. Each elevator had a large bucket of sanitizing wipes for your convenience. Rooms were clean and modern. My only issue was there was no available coffee in the lobby and there was a fee for breakfast. A lot of the Holiday Inn Hotels will provide free breakfast for their Spire members, but this one does not.
The front desk clerk was fruendly and professional whe we checked in. When we artived to our room the floor was filthy, the room and bathroom were dirty, I immediately called the cront desk, the gentleman was very nice and told ne someone would bring up another room key, the girl came gave it to me and didnt even acknowledge me. We went to the new room alittle better, but still dirty, it was already almost 11:00 at night, we stayed, but were very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room
We arrived late at night from an eight-hour drive. There are many hotels in the area with a similar star rating, and price range. We did not expect great amenities or any thrills, we did however expect and looked forward to a clean room, and a pleasant,, restful sleep as we arrived after midnight and planned to leave by 9AM the following morning. The room was far from impeccably clean. The carpet looked like it hasnt been vacuumed for a while, the bathroom shower had hair that didnt belong to us, and the room had a very strong musty and moldy smell. Under different circumstances we would have asked to switch rooms and bring all these issues to the attention of the front desk. However we were exhausted from the drive and needed to to be up early the next morning. Due to the musty smell I certainly did not get a comfortable rest and sleep. The only positive from the experience is that the front desk staff was quick and professional in checking us in, and complied with all the safety measures due to Covid.
Compared to all the other times we have visited and stayed the service was awesome then but the new team or guest services they have now is horrible. Do not get me wrong the hotel is awesome the workers just dont seem to know what to do and the rooms were not cleaned properly no towels in the bathroom and when you call no one knew where to get any.
We stayed here as a stopover during our move from Missouri to Florida. We arrived late, around 11pm, but check in was fast and easy. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and just what we needed after a long day’s drive. Breakfast was okay, and the wait staff was friendly and helpful, especially Sam. Checkout was a breeze as well. We would stay here again if we are ever in the area again.
Positive: Hotel was very convenient to I-75 Negative: Room/common areas were dirty - long hairs in the tub. Black dirt and grime on the bathroom floors - buckets in the corners of the elevators for sanitizing wipes were filled with trash Poor HVAC- the room would fluctuate from extremely hot to ice cold
We stayed in a king suite. Our room was dirty. It was obvious the carpet had not been vacuumed, there were crumbs on the floor in the bathroom. The surfaces in the room had not been wiped down evidenced by rings from previous drinks on the tables, night stands and kitchen counter. We had to call down for sheets for the sofa pullout bed. The furniture was stained the carpet was stained, walls and doors were missing paint and the lighting was dim and the room was in desperate need of a make over. Because of the obvious lack of cleanliness I cannot recommend a stay here. We asked for housekeeping hoping to have a cleaner room which did not happen. Towels were replenished and bed was made and nothing else.
We have been staying at this hotel for almost ten years, but this maybe my last time. During my last three visit weve encounter challenges with daily cleaning of the rooms. It was most concerning this time with the continuing COVID issue. After two days of no room cleaning services e.g. bathroom, trash removal, fresh towels etc. - we requested service and was told due to COVID rooms were only being clean once every 5 days. This was not listed on IHG nor was we told during check-in. I was astound that during a pandemic with a focus on cleaning and hygiene that the rooms were only being cleaned once every five days. The last straw was when we were told to leave the trash in the hallway for the cleaning service when we asked about cleaning the rooms. If this was the first time encounter, perhaps I would have been more understanding, but after encountering the same issues three times in a row (skipping a 2020 visit) I cannot accept that this is strictly a covid related issue. I did request to speak with the manager but was told that she was only available after 12pm, which I found to be unusual - no manager on duty.
Great experience wonderful check in process, the beds were so comfortable and we all slept wonderfully. Wake up to great breakfast Tonica was serving doing a wonderful job all in all will be back again soon traveling through the area definitely best hotel between Valdosta and Macon.
The room was very nice, along with pool and an amazing bartender. All in all a good experience. Now the server we had for dinner in the hotel restaurant..... absolutely worst service ever. She only had 1 other table with 2 people at it but spent the entire time serving us like she was so busy she couldnt handle it. There were 6 of us and half of our apps, salads, and entrees never made it to the table. She messed up my partners entree and told us she messed it up because she was too busy and couldnt think. She made no attempt to fix it or remove it or even apologize. After we told her we werent happy she simply brought us a bill with no explanation or even notified anyone. Her name was Pax and in all honesty other customers that have been there said that she is like that every night. She might need some re training. Now Dakata was the bartender, she was absolutely awesome in every way. She would be a reason I return to the hotel.
Comfortable bed. The staff seem to be extremely busy but yet there were people walking around doing nothing. We asked for a blow dryer and after 30 minutes went downstairs to get it and they told us that we could not get it. About an hour later, someone arrived at our room with the blow dryer. It was a good thing I asked for this the night before otherwise I would have been late for my event. There was a lot of people walking around with no mask on and I did not see any staff member asked them to wear a mask.
Overall, the place is nice and the staff is friendly. Well, expect the one individual who works in the restaurant who enjoys walking by customer tables, mumbling snark comments about customers who are coming to eat. I find that insulting and unacceptable and maybe the hotel management will feel the same and terminate her.
This is an outstanding hotel. We were impressed with the Josh at the front desk who went out of his way to get us a room with a tub. The lobby is spacious and well appointed. There is free coffee available. The bar offers good drinks at a more than fair price. The restaurant offered a good breakfast for under $10.00.The elevators were fast. Our room was spacious with coffee station and super comfy bed. There were lots of outlets and the lighting was good. The room was quiet. The bathroom was well lit and super clean with good water pressure.
Upon checking in, the staff was marginally friendly...very stiff conversation. Our room was very very cold and we tried to adjust the temperature and couldnt. We left for a few hours, hoping our efforts would bring the temperature down. When we returned, it was still uncomfortably cold. We called the front desk and were told someone would be by to check it. After an hour we called back and were told theyve been busy. We canceled the service call and went to bed. When we checked out, we mentioned it to the desk person and the response was Im sorry, hope you have a nice day. Amazingly indifferent. Desk staff seemed poorly trained.
I/we travel between Kentucky and Florida 3 or 4 times a year. The thing I really like about this Hotel is their Staff. They are very attentive to what is going on right now and are always thinking about what they can do to to make you more comfortable. The Hotel is VERY Clean and have good food/drink there plus many good restaurants within 5 minutes. Just a Great place......
The overall visit was very nice and relaxing. I have sayed at the location 2 times before so I did not hesitate to stay again. Since I work at a financial office I was considered an essential worker and have had to work the entire time of the Coronvirus situation. I was feeling very stressed and needed a relaxing weekend away from work and home. We had a quite and relaxing stay. All the staff were very nice and helpful.
Room was nice. Tub was dirty with hair and dirt ring. Maintenance came to clean tub but then run stopped up. Mgmt changed out room but later in night toilet backed up. Called down to front desk and a plunger was handed to us. I dont pay to stay in nice hotels to be given a plunger
My stay at the holiday inn was mixed the staff was great however I had my mother and mother in law and wife someone on same floor as us smoked weed all night and all morning the next day. This was very Embarrassing. I have stayed always with holiday in and never had this issue in any other hotel.
Enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Everything was clean and new! The rooms were modern with plenty of outlets for electricity and computer/phones. We got a good nights sleep in the comfotable king size bed. The pool and hot tub were welcome features that we used to cool off and relax. The Azaleas restaurant and bar were excellent and definitely worth trying. We had a very good breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
This hotel was beautiful, very clean, and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were awesome! The beds and bedding were super comfy, the bathrooms, well appointed and nice Bath and Bodyworks complimentary toiletries! Super easy check in/check out, nice, but small fitness center, and even though we didn’t get a chance to use it, the pool looked wonderful! We will definitely be using this hotel again!
We were very appreciated of the accommodation of the hotel to my wife sensitivities to odors and cleaning chemicals in our room. We called ahead and no strong smells in our room. We also like the fact that if you wanted to wear a mask you could and if you didnt you did not have the mask police all over you.
My accommodations were excellent no complaints. Front counter and restaurant staff were great!! My room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was spotless!! All staff practiced social distancing and had guidelines and signage everywhere which was great. Im from Jacksonville, Fl and My company Home Depot has us staying here for business till November and look forward to my stay and will recommend to others stay stay here at the Valdosta Holiday Inn
Hotel staff was excellent, very professional. Family room suite was absolutely perfect, plenty of room, very clean, all new appliances. Master bedroom has a comfortable King size bed with a big screen TV, wall controlled thermostat, and doors to close off the bedroom and bathroom from both sides of the rooms! Family room also has a big TV for the kids with adjustable wall mounts, a hideaway bed in the couch, and the kids bed had a second bed which slides out kind of like a drawer/bunk bed! Not only where the walls and doors heavy to block sound from the other room, in the bathroom also found ear plugs supplied for extra quiet! Multiple easily accessible outlets and charging ports in all rooms. Window had a heavy rolling blackout curtain which did a great job blocking all outside light.
The room was very drab and gloomy. The carpet looked like it needed replacing many years ago. Overall the room needed a major face-lift. However, I was pleasantly surprised that the bed was super comfortable. The mattress was great. Bedding was super clean and very comfortable, good quality. I was surprised, as the rest of the room did not match the bed. Bed was Ritz quality, room itself, well we wont go there. To bad the rooms arent updated.
The room was really large,We loved the extra space. The bed was so comfortable and oh my gosh the pillows were so soft that they felt like cotton. The front desk ladies and the gentleman were very kind and answered all of my questions,We enjoyed watching sports on the nice flat screen tv.
Im a regular IHG guest because Ive become accustomed to its standards. Unfortunately my room was nowhere near IHG standards. The toilet hadnt been cleaned and someone had used it previously. There were multiple body and long black head hairs on the bathroom floor. There were at least 4 rings on the coffee table where drinks had been left on it. They easily wiped off with little effort. If it hadnt been nearly midnight I would have asked for another room. Instead, we cleaned the room ourselves with our own sprays and wpes, etc. Very disappointed and will not stay here again. The sheets and towels were changed. The rest of the room wasnt cleaned. I have attached photos as proof. I must give credit where credit is due. The facility itself, other than our room, seemed clean and bright. I was welcomed nicely and social distancing was observed. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable.
Hotel is in good shape, quiet rooms, and clean bathroom.WARNING: DO NOT GO TO BREAKFAST IF YOU ARE IN A HURRY! 10 MINUTES TO BE SEATED, 20 MINUTES FOR DRINKS, ALMOST AN HOUR BEFORE FOOD ARRIVED! LOTS OF ANGRY PEOPLE, AND STAFF IS SO STRESSED THEY DONT CARE. And...the food came wrong! We left our food and walked out after we were told it would be 20 minutes for our new order.
This IHG facility was recently remodeled and the room was spacious, modern and quite comfortable. Plenty of easily accessible electrical outlets and charging ports. Plenty of work space for business travel. While the bathroom was new and modern with a walk in shower, the shower could have been cleaner. This hotel does not have the standard buffet breakfast. We were given the option to pay an additional amount on our room rate for breakfast in the restaurant which proved to be a good deal. Front desk staff could have been friendlier and more informative. Overall this was a great hotel and we would not hesitate to stay again.
I was not real impressed with the Front desk clerk, she was not very friendly and because we were there for a conference meeting, I was hoping to at least be offered free breakfast. However we were given a buy 1, get 1 free drink ticket from the bar. The cleaning people did not leave any refill any of the toiletry items. I want to give kudos to Josh who was efficient in bringing up towels and blankets. Samantha the waitress in the dining room was awesome. Marquel and Jayla were great as well. We did encounter a small problem when we had dinner on Saturday evening. After being told our food was being taken care of since we waited so long, we were still charged. Shoutout to Hiram the bartender, he was great as well.
We made an unplanned stay when my husband’s back went out! We were treated with compassion by all the staff members who helped us settle in and then made sure we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable and clean, and was convenient for my husband to navigate around with the help of the rolling desk chair! So thankful that we chose to stay here, and highly recommend this hotel!
Best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at! Super contemporary. Room was spacious and comfortable. Evening restaurant staff were friendly and professional. Food was great for both dinner and breakfast! Samantha at breakfast was very accommodating and went out of her way to make my morning extra special through her service😊
Easy access off the interstate. Nice bar area for relaxing and a couple of the employee were very friendly and helpful. My husband cute his hand and one guy jumped right up to help a nd get a bandaid. Room was large and bed was very comfortable. Nice to have a restaurant in-house so we didn’t have to get back in car. All facilities looked extremely nice.
The hotel staff were nice and the pricing was very good. However the room I checked checked into bathroom had not been cleaned. The previous occupants soap and shampoo were still in shower stall and the toilet had some black substance on it. I had already unpacked and did not want to move so I cleaned up the bathroom. When I told the front desk, they offered to move me but I did not want to move due to unpacking. The said they would send someone up the sanitize the bathroom. However, if anyone came they failed to remove the items in the waste basket. They also said they would give me additional points to help improve my stay. However, as of now, no additional points have been added to my account.
We started our night with a very bad experience at a different hotel and got here just after midnight. Darryl was extremely helpful even despite some grumpiness coming from our side of the counter. He booked us a room and kept a smile throughout the entire interaction. The room was spotless, quite and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable, the provided toiletries were wonderful and we were very happy. Its a little more expensive than some of the other hotels in the area, but I promise you, its well worth the extra $20-$30. We will be delighted to stay here again on our next trip to FL.
Plenty of places to eat, including the hotel itself. Clean. Not a truck stop but room for a few big trucks to park, including people towing campers and other trailers. I couldn’t tell if it was just because I was in the south or if it was the area but definitely locked my car doors twice. This will absolutely be my choice stop when I’m in the area from now on.
This was my first stay at this hotel and will now be my go-to for any future Valdosta trips! From check in to check out, everything was so seamless. The front desk staff were extremely courteous and professional. Our room was ready right when we arrived (I had even requested an early check in and they were able to make that happen). The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was the MOST comfortable! I wish we had gotten to stay more than 1 night because I didn’t want to leave!
This was a last minute decision on the way back home from a week long vacation up in the mountains. I am an IHG rewards member and have stayed in several Holiday Inn hotels. This one by far was a surprise off the I-75. From the friendly staff at the check-in (we arrived past midnight and Josh at the counter was exceptional) to the room service staff in the morning. We requested breakfast for the following morning and it was amazing! We did not expect much, since the price was so affordable...but it exceeded our expectations. The food was cooked perfectly, it was abundant and it taste delicious. Plus kids eat free! What?! I recommend this hotel 100%!
It was an easy and quick check in. Our room was roomy, clean and well equipped with all the things to make our stay more comfortable. The water in the shower gets very hot - which I loved! The water pressure was good and the towels were soft. Vanity mirror was huge and well lit for me to get ready. I was confused about the earplugs at first, however, my husband figured out what they were for... the passing overnight trains. I didn’t notice them because I was fast asleep due to the amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. I just melted to sleep. Overall great stay for a decent price.
This is a very fine facility with clean accommodations and a top drawer day staff.Had it not been for a large group of inconsiderate people that totally took over the spa area and partied all night into the early morning hours, the stay would have been perfect. The afternoon and night staff should have been aware of the constant loud noise. We chose not to complain because of the current culture climate.
I’ll be glad when COVID is gone. The restaurant’s limited menu has encouraged me to go out of the hotel to eat and I’d rather stay in. It would also be nice to get the drink voucher without sacrificing my reward points. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly.
Excellent service and staff. We ate Dinner and Breakfast here. Both meals were very well prepared and great value for money. The guy at the reception took care of everything we asked forRoom was very comfortable and quiet.Covid-19 precautions were first class. They Got it Right
A beautiful hotel! Very modern and updated look. An incredible value for the weekend stay. The walk-in shower was stunning (I used to build custom walk-in showers for a living). Room was very spacious and had a great atmosphere. Probably the nicest Holiday Inn that I have been in to date. I can’t wait to stay here again.
Room service dinner was ice cold. Couldnt get seated for breakfast, floor so sticky our shoes were sticking. Husband is disabled so purposefully selected a place with a restaurant. That designation is far fetched. Maybe having staffing issues with COVID but dinner room service was ice cold and not eatable.
Toilet in room was backed up before we used. Terrible smell upon 1st entry of room. Hot tub not on or working. Had to use lobby toilet. Initial check in issues. Groupon purchase and it seems both sides really dropped the ball. Not happy with Groupon either. Wold never recommend this location. Very disappointed.
Friendly and efficient check in and check out.Facilities are very good, clean and well presented.Room was large and comfortable. Bar staff were overworked so getting drinks took a long time.Great pool area but can be noisy as families party on until mid/late evening.Room service breakfast staff were overworked so breakfast was late and not correct however they were very apologetic and corrected the issues. Room service breakfast was a good value.
Passing through town on the way to a company outting with a fairly large group. We decided to stay at the conference center instead of the express as we have in the past and we were blown away. Everything was better than expected. Staff was great, general areas were perfect, pool and bar were just what we needed and the rooms were immaculate. . Capping everything off was the bed. All members in our group agreed that the beds were the best we had ever slept on. If anyone can tell us what make and model they are, we would all appreciate it!! Perfect stay in Valdosta to say the least.
I enjoyed my stay at the Valdosta Holiday Inn. The staff is both friendly and very helpful. The check-in was super easy, fast and safe. My room was perfect, it had a super comfortable bed and was very clean and spotless. I enjoyed being in the pool area and the outside deck is very appealing to sit and enjoy an afternoon cocktail. All in all, this is a hotel that I can definitely recommend.
I’ve never stayed at a hotel like this. The lobby is upscale looking and clean. The bed was so big and soft even after scooting over my girlfriend asked why I was so far away. The room is really spacious also. The free shampoo is bath and body works? Yes! And you’re given a free drink at the bar?! My next vacation is this hotel.
Did not get room I had reserved. Bathroom was not clean at all. Had the do not disturb on the door, maid was in hall directly in front of our door having a loud phone conversation very early in the morning, which woke us up. When I opened door to see what was going on, she looked at me like I was disturbing her.
Positive: Restaurant Negative: First room had dried blood smeared on bathroom door and light switch, bathroom floor had hair all over it and toilet not cleaned. The hallways all needed to be vacuumed. There was broken glass all over parking lot where we parked our vehicle.
Nice staff and nice amenities, but the hot tub was closed (which wasnt mentioned anywhere and the reason I chose this hotel over others in the area) and room was dirty complete with some old animal feces(see photo), black model between the shower tiles, and old uncooked pasta by the microwave. Please hire some staff who cares enough to do a thorough job. No one wants to go to their hotel room to find it like this.
I had a relatively great stay at the hotel. The only issues I had were encountered in the nice large room. The issues encountered centered around the overall cleanliness. I found loose pills in the coffee tray and potato chips on the floor on the side of the bed. All in all, I’d suggest refocusing on cleanliness and consider additional lighting on the next room update / remodel.
We had a one night stay in the Holiday Inn and our experience was great. The hotel and room were clean and well-kept. There is ample parking space. It is located near I75. The bathrooms in the room were very clean and everything seemed to be working properly. They had some toiletries available but we did not use them. Our room had a pull out couch for extra sleeping space. Staff was friendly upon arrival and check in was quick and easy.
My family and I have stayed at more hotels in the past 2 weeks than we have throughout the 7 years of marriage because of Hurricane Irma. I have to say that this hotel in Valdosta was by far the best one. The room was impeccable when we walked in. We liked that the couch turned into a bed. Another plus was the how clean everything was especially the restroom. Personally, I prefer a shower over a tub and to my surprise, they had a shower (yay!) in the room we stayed in. I also had to do laundry and not only did they have 2 types of washers (top load and front load) but they also had 2 dryers. My children enjoyed the pool, which was a little too cold for my liking but they didnt seem to mind. The spa was wonderful and it enjoyed every second. I highly recommend this hotel!
The staff was professional, accommodating and friendly. When I first walked in I thought it was a partying going on. However, Im sure it was the folks that recieved their drink tickets and was a bit overly cheery. At any rate, the bar was a nice way to end a day on the road, and I didnt have to go out to have a glass of wine. The room was large with the latest decor and enough usb ports for all my devices. I will definitely stay here again when Im in the area. It is also close to many restaurants. I was meeting employees for breakfast and was happy the location was right.

2022-02-27Nice hotel in a so-so location. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The beds were above average. Good night sleep. Lighting could be improved; too dark. The bathroom is too small. Toilet too close to sink. Staff was very helpful

2022-02-07Positive: Hotel was conveniently located, and our room was absolutely huge! Bed was freakishly soft and squishly. Air unit wasnt too loud, and room was very comfortable overall. Negative: The carpet was not vacuumed (or at least not well). Staff could have been more welcoming. I would expect a hotel like this to include breakfast, although I was aware that it was not included when I booked it.

2022-05-05The hotel was quiet and clean. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was comfortable. The cost of vending machine products and items in the little store behind the front desk was ridiculous, but that isnt unusual for hotels. All-in-all it was a pleasant stay.

2022-05-29Cons: There was no toilet paper in the room when we checked in. Had to catch a housekeeper to get some. The pictures are misleading. The pool is smaller than it looks and there is no hot tub. The water was murkey even though it had lots of chlorine in it, our eyes were red when we got out. After swimming we went to the room to take a shower and the drain was not draining. The tub filled with water. Tried to call front desk, phone did not work in room so I used my cell phone. Desk clerk forgot what my complaint was so she did not relay the message to the maintenance man. Did not bother to call me to ask. So we waited almost an hour before going downstairs to complain again. She admitted she forgot and sent him up to our room to fix the problem. By then it was like 9:45.Pros: The day shift had great customer service. The rooms look great, although the bathrooms are pretty small. When we finally got to take a shower it was great, water pressure and temp perfect. This hotel is in a great location. Close to shopping and Interstate 75. We even went to the movies while we were here. Great food and restaurants.

2022-04-27Impressive! Great stay at this Holiday Inn. Tymia greeted us with a beautiful smile and checked us in quickly and easily. The room was spotless. Tired from our long drive, Robin took great care of us at the hotel restaurant, Azaleas, which also has a nice little bar. After a great night’s sleep, we returned for a delicious, very generous breakfast and more happy, hard working employees. So grateful for the hospitality!

2022-01-22I’m not going to speak for the entire hotel, but refuse room 308! Floors were not vacuumed, socks were left under the pull out bed (the same pull out bed that had old, dried blood and body fluids on it), trash next the pull out drawer stack and a ceiling fire detector that had a metal cage protector hanging off the water deflector. If I wake up itching, Imma be upset. Nice staff on duty. They brought up the sheets and blankets that were not in the room shortly after the request. AC is awesome! Why didn’t I request another room? It’s late. I’m tired. We just kept finding stuff and since it was only a one night stay…..eh, Ive stayed in worse.

2022-06-29Four of us stayed for one night during our golfing trip, but there were only three bath towels (which seems to be very common these days) and two wash cloths. My husband asked for more at the front desk and they said theyd bring them to our room, but they never did. The room was okay. No fan in the bathroom. Free WiFi and parking, but if we wanted breakfast, we wouldve had to order it in the restaurant. We had an early tee time and no time to wait. I just wanted a bed and a shower, and this place delivered half of that.

2022-05-02Positive: Wasnt hard to find, so that was ok. Bed & linens were very comfortable and room appeared to be bug free, so that was good. Carpet was decently clean, it took several hours of walking around room in white socks B4 they looked dirty. Negative: Understaffed & staff was meh. It was noisy due to kids sporting event... bathroom was not clean, stocked w/unsanitary towels... clean towels requested 2 times B4 sent& 1/4 had dirt on it¿¿& thermostat ac broken

2022-01-03But for having multiple roaches in the room this stay would’ve been fine. We are platinum ihg members and the front desk clerk basically acted like it was no big deal that there were roaches. She offered us breakfast. No thanks, I don’t want breakfast from a hotel that has bugs. She did give us some points back , but didn’t say how many but said there wasn’t much she could do because rate was already discounted. Ok? $150 per night for this level of cleanliness? Otherwise the staff was friendly. I wouldn’t stay here again.

2022-04-23Horribly noisy, the hotels glass is technically not working in noise cancellation. And the Hotel allows extremely noisy events to hold in the backyard, totally ignoring the residential experience of the tenants. I almost got heart attack because of the stupid, heart-pounding music even though I stay on the 5th floor. I called the front desk and was told that they can do nothing but sending me some earphones. And I waited for hours to find that was only diplomacy. Will rate 0/5 if possible. As a hotel, ensuring the residential experience of the guest should be put on its priority!!!!
