While I ultimately did not purchase a vehicle from Honda at Carland in Alpharetta, I must say that working with Ryan Walcott was a great one. Ryan went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of and provided all of the information needed about the vehicle -- he made the entire car buying process much less stressful. If youre thinking about buying a vehicle then ask for Ryan, hell make the entire experience and transaction a great one.
Wonderful service.Pedro was excellent and because of him, my buying experience was as good as I expected. Cleo at finance was also very professional and experienced and I was satisfied with his service as well. In general I give them 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Thank you very much.
John was very helpful and made sure I understood the whole process. I was a bit nervous that they were going to tell me that my car needed a lot of work done since I don’t know anything about cars and I’ve heard horror stories about getting cars serviced at dealerships, but John was very honest and told me what needed to be done to my car right away and whats recommended to be done soon.
Eli was great. He thoroughly explained what was needed. When I advised him that performing all the work was out of my budget, he advised me what the priority was so I could stay in that dollar point. He also found a discount that would help even further to reduce the cost. Great customer service Eli Gouldson
I love getting my car serviced here! Eli makes sure that they only do the work that is needed and nothing more. If a big repair is coming down the road like replacing my timing belt he lets me know in advance so I can budget for the big expense. Would not take my car anywhere else.
We just purchased a CR-V from Carland in Roswell and it was a great experience! Our salesperson, Pedro Caraballo, was fantastic and made the entire experience painless. Pedro was personable, patient and knowledgeable. Brian Bolton took care of the financial part of the sale and he was also fantastic. We are very satisfied with our Carland experience.
Unprofessional and condescending. Will not purchase from them.I called in to inquire about a price on a car I saw on their website and was interested in that had no price listed. Bill picked up and instead of answering my question, asked what my price range was. He then laughed at me and my answer and said there was no way the car was in that range and that I was off by about 5k. I did not realize it was a slightly different trim from the ones I had been looking at which I admit was my fault, and I know my voice sounds like a childs, but that was one of the most condescending and unprofessional laughs I have ever heard. I would have considered the car at that price point if he had simply explained the trim difference as my budget is discretionary and was aimed at a lower trim. I know he is 1 person and I doubt everyone at the dealership is like him, but his rude, patronizing attitude in that 1 call means I will not consider buying from this dealership ever. No need to reach out to me, I have already moved onto another dealership with a far more respectful and professional sales staff.
I am was disappointed with my experience. I made my appointment a week in advance, took off from work and because the appointment would take 3 hours, I made arrangements for someone to pick me up. However when I got there, I was told that the part that was needed to to do the work hadn’t arrived. This is a complete inconvenience as I will need to take off off work again and make arrangements again. I received two confirmation appointment emails (I’m sure they are automatic emails) but if the parts hadn’t arrived, I should’ve been informed prior to my appointment. There needs to be a process set up where all work orders should be reviewed at least 24-48 hrs to ensure the work can be completed on the day of the appointment. This will give the customer enough time to adjust. Now, I have to come back and take additional time out of my schedule. This is a poor customer experience!!
Quick friendly service. Just needed the locking lug nuts removed and replaced with regular lug nuts. Done quickly and not charge except for new lug nuts. Didn’t have enough in stock so replaced 1 with a used part for no charge. I really appreciate the good service provided!
My overall experience was absolutely outstanding! From the time I walked in, until leaving Jamori helped me understand everything that was going on with my car and gave me the run down step by step on how to fix everything in a time efficient manner without breaking the bank. Definitely recommend this place for all your service needs! These guys are outstanding!
I took my 2016 Civic in for a routine tuneup and AC repair. Everything from the intake to the pickup was smooth, non intrusive, and extremely professional. I purchased my vehicle here and also have taken the purchased vehicle in for service several times and received nothing but great experiences.When I arrived at the service center, I was immediately greeted and given clear directions on how to drop off. The Porter was professional and very efficient, addressing each guest with care.AJ, my agent, was fantastic. He was first and foremost, extremely polite and despite my appointment being at 7:15AM on a Saturday, he was nothing but concise and thorough. I was able get through the process of dropping off my car in less than 10 minutes even after AJ went through the estimated costs and processes involved.Once it was determined that my car would remain in the shop for a few days, Honda Carland offered me a loaner without question. The process of obtaining one was painless and the vehicle was very well kept.My bill was originally going to be over $3k, but with the extended warranty I had paid for when I purchased my car, I ended up paying $250. AJ really went above and beyond to help me through this process and I cannot express how thankful I am of his genuine care.I work in the automotive parts manufacturing industry and often have contact with Honda Automotive employees. They are some of the most pleasant people to work with and Honda Carland does an excellent job of extending the company culture of authentic care for their drivers. I am a diehard Honda lover, and will never do business with another dealer. I am a Honda Carland customer for life.Thank you AJ and everyone who had helped me!
We just Terrible experience today , we were trying to fix one of the tires on the minivan, they took our minivan,they didn’t tell us how to fix ,they didn’t tell us how much they will charge, only thing we been told is “done in tow hours.”When we come back after 4 hours, we couldn’t find the person who handles our minivan,we been waiting about an hour to see her ,which is 3pm on Monday . And she said she is going to put the information into the system! ???????????!After long waiting ,we still not in the system????????We should have left, The worst decision was that we stayed,after about 2 hours waiting. We finally have our minivan back and fixed.Expect we have pay $360 to repair a tire???Really?? $360 for fix a tire?Any way , I am not come back this place again, I would rather gave back the fixed tire to have our money back!
Do NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy your car from here. I purchased my vehicle in March, as of yesterday, the DMV still has not received the paperwork from the dealership to process my registration and license plates. I live out of state. When I spoke with Faith Calvert one of the supervisors, she was unhelpful, rude and dismissive. She constantly interrupted me when speaking to her and hung the phone up on my face. She needs to be fired! I recommend purchasing your vehicle elsewhere!
Be ware of this dealership. Prices are astronomically high. Brake jobs that cost an average of $200 will cost you $260. They also will claim that resurfacing rotars are more economical to save you money. They quoted me $300 for new rotary when you can get best on in auto zone for $67. They also will charge you $162 diagnostics fee which they say is refundable if you fix your car with them. Scam alert people as they charged me the $162 eventhough I fixed my brakes and drained my brake fluid for a cool $160 because I did not change my hybrid battery which they wanted $2900 to replace. I found a new battery from a dealer that cost $1972 and a used one for $400. Do yourself and wallet a favor and go somewhere else.
The sales staff was very helpful and informative as we bought a used 2013 CRV for our daughter. Of course I had some reservations buying a car with higher mileage even if it is a Honda, especially with the at least 35% increase in used car prices, but I was put at ease. The sales manager Sandy reassured me that not only do these used Hondas go through a thorough inspection process before they will sell them on the lot, but that his and the dealerships reputation is on the line. This all made sense to me and I already knew this but having it communicated directly face to face goes a long way. Thank you for helping us through the relatively easy and hassle free process of buying this excellent, reliable car. Our daughter loves it!!

Bought my Odyssey EXL on December 13th 2020. The Sales team of Adriana and Katia was great and has been helpful after the sale as well with a few hiccups that are to be expected. EL Rico was a great help in Finance. The Service department has been wonderful as well Jay is a asset to their team!!I would recommend Honda Carland and would definitely purchase from them again.
We had a wonderful experience with the service department. My Odyssey was having some problems with the transmission. Eli let me know up front what it would cost to run the diagnostics. He also let me know how long my wait would be. It was long, but he offered a shuttle service to the mall if we needed it. My three year old son was with me and the waiting area was so perfect for him! They had coloring books and one lady even brought him some crayons so he could color. The best part is we ended up not having to pay a penny because the van was under warranty! Overall, we had a pleasant visit to Honda Carland and will definitely return!!
The salesman, Bill, that assisted me was amazing. He was professional, very polite, and didnt come across as pushy like some salesmen can be. I have a different feeling about the financing agent I had to deal with due to a few things but mainly lack of communication and some unprofessional comments that were made. Bill really was the one who made it a pleasant experience. If youre in the market for a new or used car, I would highly recommend asking for Bill! 😊
Few days ago, I had the pleasure of buying a 2021 Accord Sport from Honda Carland. The car buying experience was phenomenal and most importantly the salesman Chris Hippolyte was outstanding. He took the time to make sure I was fully satisfied with the performance and explained everything I needed to know about that car. He even took an extra step to call me after couple of days to answer any question I might have and wanted to know my feelings. That’s not something I experienced in the past even with more expensive car salesman. Also, the finance manager was very friendly and was not using any pressure tactic to sell any product. His name was Brian and I enjoyed his relaxed approach in dealing with a customer. Just FYI, I went to couple other Honda dealers before going to Honda Carland and my experience was not very favorable. But my overall experience at this dealership was great, specially Chris. So I definitely recommend him to anyone who is planning to buy a new Honda.
My original experience buying two vehicles from this establishment were great five stars even. However I am disgusted by my experience attempting to cancel my warranties on a 2021 Accord I ended up trading in on a pickup truck. I was ducked and dodged on answers over the phone on how to cancel my warranties over the phone several times. Once I finally found out how to accomplish the cancelation, I brought in the proper paperwork and was met with confusion or surprise that I was there to do so. I handed over the documents requested by the individual and he came back to me with ntwo documents for me to sign and told me I would receive an email. No one told me when I would recieve me refund or how. I waited for my email for a week and never received it. When I called in to ask about this I recieved no clear information and was told over and over agian, 6 to 10 weeks. No information on what would happen in 6 to 10 weeks just, 6 to 10 weeks. So here I am out quite a bit of money that being to me with no answer from this dealership on when or if I will even receive it and without any documentation of what I signed the day I brought information for cancelation that they requested. Sounds alot like a scam to me.
Would absolutely not recommend Honda Carland. We purchased a truck from them this past week that had the wrong tires on it. They put 80 psi in a tire only rated for 44 psi just to keep the low tire pressure light from coming on; that is nearly double the safe air pressure. We drove 3.5 hours home with this ticking time bomb. The tires were new so it didnt dawn on us we needed to check the air pressure. They could have spent a few more dollars and put the correct tires on the truck instead they chose to put my family in danger just so they could make a sale. We called and explained this situation to them and just wanted them to make it right, their only comment was the vehicle was sold as is.And responding to every bad review with the same line contact our General Manager Kenny Kaplan is a joke in its self. You have no concern for your customers as long as you make the sale.
Beware- I went in for an oil change and they tried to tell me upon doing the multi point inspection that my battery was bad and had even put the charge on my bill- probably hoping I would say go ahead and replace it. Mind you I had replaced the battery a year ago from Goodyear and is still under a 3 year warranty. So I drove from Roswell down to Buckhead to the shop I had purchased the battery from and after testing it they said the battery was more than fine- it was at 96%. I like to think I can trust where I get my car serviced but that isnt the case here.
I visited Carland a few months ago for routine maintenance and was quoted $2700 for regular maintenance on my 10 year old civic. I concurrently started to receive emails from the dealership about trade-in options. I visited a local private mechanic for a second opinion and the maintenance work required was actually $317. I wasn’t going to post a review but Carland keeps sending me advertising emails even though I have unsubscribed several times. The people there were nice but it was very overpriced. Service costs were much higher than any I have encountered at other Honda dealerships (I had my old receipts with me so was able to directly compare prices).
Ernesto and Chris were incredible sales agents. They were patient and understanding of my needs and effectively communicated what they could and could not offer.I really respect the Sales Managers approach on the negotiation of our price for the 2022 Odyssey we purchased. It was not overly pushy, it was respectful, and it was honest.Once off to the finance department the manager there I interacted with was excellent. He only initiated one credit inquiry to get what was needed - he was respectful of my time and great to chat with.While I was signing paperwork Ernesto/Chris and team ensured the van was fully detailed and cleaned and ready to go.Highly recommend the team at Honda Carland - looking forward to years of service and my next honda purchases from them.
First, I LOVE my Honda Accord that I got from here and this dealership had the most choices for vehicles on the lot which is a rare occurrence during COVID. However, my husband and I ran into numerous issues when it came to the finance team that I strongly encourage you to be mindful of if you come here.If something feels off about anything, please just walk away no matter how far in the process you are with them. This dealership will tell you to sign or initial something saying it is not binding, but it really is. My husband and I were pre-approved for a vehicle through our credit union and the paperwork was incorrect and it took almost a month to fix. The finance person we worked with did correct the paperwork, but not until it was almost a month to the date of us purchasing the vehicle. I almost missed paying my first car note because the credit union was unable to book the loan because of the documents being incorrect. We were also overcharged $300 for our GAP insurance. These types of things can not happen and it really messes with peoples livelihoods. This situation gave me a great deal of stress, but in the end it was all corrected. Kenny, the manager, was made aware of the situation but nothing came of it and we never heard anything from him.If you do go here, just be mindful of certain things that they say/do and read every single word on the paperwork you fill out. And then ask for copies of everything. I hope no one else has to deal with the issues that my husband and I did when we came here and I would highly suggest watching Chevy Dude on YouTube before purchasing a vehicle from here. He offers great advice on how to interact with car dealerships.
Smoothest experience I have had in my 35+ years of buying cars. Finally a salesperson Ryan Walcott that actually listens and does not sling BS. This place was incredible and made the whole process so enjoyable it made me wonder how long I will wait before I go back for another
I recently bought a Honda CR-V and am very happy with the car and the service by their staff. Ryan Walcott did a professional and courteous job working up the final purchase price and getting everything in order to drive out with the car. Final price and loan rate were the best I had seen in the local area. I would gladly do business with them in the future.
Great experience overall with my purchase. Merlton was my salesman and Brian (Im pretty sure that was his name) I worked with in finance. Both were very professional.The one aspect that could have been better is the wait time between finalizing the sale and waiting to finish up with finance. I had to wait a long time for this.Once I did get in with finance, Brian was efficient and I appreciate that.

Update 2022: I’ve made it clear I want nothing to do with this business and have asked them repeatedly to stop emailing me and mailing me. I’ve since moved to a new home, and they somehow have my address and are mailing me repeatedly. STOP CONTACTING ME.My experience in early 2016 was good..until I got home and realized the second key they gave me was not for my car. When I returned to get the key after calling and hearing from my sales person that they would make it right, the used car sales manager said my key was lost and I was out of luck. This was really unfortunate since members of my family have purchased a total of 3 vehicles from this place. I ended up purchasing another Honda 6 months after my purchase at Honda Carland, and I chose another dealer to buy from.
Worst experience I ever had with a dealer. The finance guy give me the monthly payment I was looking, after a month I didn’t receive any payment plan so I contact them. They called me saying that I had to pay more than the offer they give. They told me that after a month I took the car. Had a lot of problems with the payment, to fix everything and be able to get a new and good offer I had to go to the dealer plenty of times to talk with the finance guy. Definitely worst experience ever, I don’t recommend this dealer to no body, not even to my worst enemy!
Took my moms vehicle here after a tire blew out. Her 2021 CRV was brand new (5 months old) so I figured the tire might be covered under the Honda warranty. Initially spoke with a technician in training who was very pleasant and attempted to help. Wish I remembered his name because he was the only positive customer service rep o encountered. When he called over a senior service representative to assist me it all went down hill from there. The rep was very unhelpful. He first stated that I bought the car from Lou Sobh Honda, so I should talk to them. I advised that Honda’s warranty is covered at any dealership. He then stated tires weren’t covered and just walked away. I then explained that I believed the tire to be defective and that the warranty for my car stated that Honda can assist you in that situation. He then told me to show him where the warrant stated that. I went to my car and brought him the warranty and showed the page. Still refused to help me and just walked away. At that point another service rep came over and just said tires are not covered. At that point I was furious and left. Drove over to Lou Sobh Honda where they took great care of me. Top notch customer service there. To be clear they didn’t replace the tire for free. They just took the time to explain why the tire wasn’t covered and showed me what damaged the tire. I bought a replacement tire there and was very happy with my experience.I will never return to Honda Roswell. I now see why my mom elected not to purchase her car here and instead drove 15 miles further to Lou Sobh Honda.
Buying a car is always a strange mix of fun yet stressful. The purchase of the new 2021 vehicle itself was smooth in terms of availability and finance. However, within 2 months I was back at the dealership, this time for the Service Dept. I have had issue after issue with my new car related to technology and audio. Every interaction has left me questioning what their definition of customer service is. My audio was working by the time of my appointment (which is a separate problem - I just bought a car and you cant prioritize that without me scheduling and sitting in a dealership for 2 hours)? Since the audio worked they did some diagnostics and sent me on my way and told me to come back when it broke again. I barely made it out of the lot before it stopped working again. Their solution/explanation for this? It is a known issue with new 2021 but no fix, perhaps it is the Apple cord for my CarPlay causing the issue. Ah, yes. Sell me a car that is wired CarPlay and then tell me that is the source for why my CarPlay, Bluetooth, and screen no longer function. It isnt the USB port as my phone charged. Nothing like spending $30K on a car to have your audio system work only when it feels like it and have no one at the dealership lend any kind of true solution to the problem.
Got the worst new car we ever bought from here. Had to get a new transmission (free of charge though) right after the purchase. Then had to pay for a new transmission for it just after 60k miles. Endless issues over the years. Couldnt be happier to have sold it and never need to go back to Honda again.
Bought another brand online with no trouble six months ago. Wife wants a Honda. Asked for a quote from this dealership. All I got was the old fashioned games and run around....come in right away...we’ll show you the features...when can you be here? No thanks. I’m an educated buyer looking to buy a car immediately with no hassle and no games. That most certainly didn’t happen at Honda Carland.
I had a terrible experience with the finance office. They lack complete customer care. I purchased a service warranty with my CRV after the finance manager told me that I could take my vehicle to any Honda dealership for service. This, of course, was incorrect. When I found that it was not true, I immediately requested the form to cancel the warranty. It took me several days to obtain the form, I completed and it and emailed it back immediately. I am still waiting on confirmation that the cancelation was submitted and that my load amount decreased. American Honda was contacted and their customer service agent had problems getting anyone from Honda Carland to call them back to confirm the refund.
Buying a car is always stressful. There were issues with the original purchase, but Demetra and the General manager went above and beyond to fix the issue. I am very pleased with my Honda Civic. Cleo in finance was really great to work with as well. Great customer service! Definitely would recommend Honda Carland!
We came to this dealership to got some help about refinancing or get trade in Honda odyssey 2013 for new version but once we arrived lady on front desk was not helpful at all and we felt like she wants to end conversation faster and don’t help us. Well and we took our business to Toyota where we got much better customer service and new Toyota Sienna! I would say to Carland Honda customer service dont judge a book by its cover!
Let me start by saying we have been loyal customers of Honda Carland for 8 years or so. We have taken my Honda Accord there for every service since we moved to the area. Sadly, our relationship with Honda Carland has come to an end.We took the Accord for service due to a strange noise on the drivers side. We dropped the car off on a Friday morning per our scheduled appointment time. The day passed by and finally I decided to call them around 2:30 to see what was going on. They said they had not looked at my car yet and it was next in line. Another hour or so passed and my husband called again for an update. They still hadnt looked at the car. Then close to closing time, they finally called us to tell us they would not be able to look at the car and itd had to wait until tomorrow. We have never had something like this happen before. Typically within a few hours Honda Carland will reach out to us and let us know the status of things. And let me say, it was so slow in there the service agents were commenting about how they hoped tomorrow was busier because they needed bigger paychecks...anyway...maybe they dont have as many technicians as they once had but the fact that the service agent could not give us a heads-up on the status of things is beyond unacceptable.We finally got a text on Saturday late morning with the service recommendations and pricing for each. Not a call, but a text. Thats fine but I would think that if you had frustrated customers youd want to give some personalized attention. There were several services that were marked as needs immediate attention including outside of the scope for what we brought the car in for including replacement of windshield wipers for $120. Seriously? If we did everything they said needed immediate attention we would be upwards of $3K in service. Obviously we were shocked by the pricing of the services, so we called another local Honda dealer to compare prices as well as an independent auto mechanic. The quoted prices from the other dealer were at least 50% less for each recommended service and the independent mechanic was even less. We have never received such an outlandish quote from Honda Carland before. We certainly understand that costs have gone up in the COVID era but these prices were off the charts. Perhaps prices have increased to cover the costs of their dealership remodel? Back to the story...My husband called and talked to the service manager to inform him that we would just come and get the car and requested that they waive the diagnostic fee for the inconvenience of keeping my car for over a day with no proactive communication from our service agent. The service manager was combative and challenging to deal with and initially refused to waive the fee. We went to get my car and they did end up waiving the fee so we appreciate that much from Honda Carland. However, needless to say they have lost a very loyal customer. Im willing to pay slightly more for a trusted level of service but these guys have completely lost my trust.
One of my clients made a purchase at this dealership, for a new car, without making a down payment of any kind. This client was in a prime position to be taken advantage of, and thats exactly what happened. The dealership made no serious effort to assist the client with making a down payment with funds from the program that the client was in. I am really unhappy with the dealer for facilitating this situation and making no effort to rectify it, despite my many friendly and polite calls to multiple staff people. Of course, if they made an effort to contact me and do right by the customer, I would take this review down.
Update 11/1/2021: Even a full year after one of the worst car buying experiences of my life, these people continually find new ways to screw up. They just mailed me a service ad postcard with my full name, address, make/model, date of purchase, VIN, and some kind of account number printed on the outside. No envelope.Maybe thats a data breach, maybe Im overreacting - Honda North America can figure that out while they investigate my complaint.They didnt to the trade-in/title work properly, and now I need to visit my tag office with some paperwork or pay a fine.This is on top of not checking the car properly, not following through on promises, trying to play interest rate games, and registering the new car late. Avoid this dealership.Youll note that the dealership responds with Call Kenny Kaplan, hell make it right. I contacted Kenny, and he never returned my call or email.
Came here for my first service. Alex was amazing with details upfront and explained all the services in the checklist that were performed. Even though I did not buy the car here, I got a free first service. They were really busy and you would have to wait (>1.5 hr) or drop off to save time. Will come back here.
Terrible company they definitely do not have your back as a customer. Sales manager BAD. Salesmen BAD. We took a car home Sunday night called Monday morning and said we want to bring it back and get a different car we didnt like it went back Monday afternoon and they said too late the paperwork was already submitted and we had to trade the car in they didnt even give us what we paid for the car- this place is a joke Carmax gives you 30 days and you can bring the car back at any time with no problem if they can do it why cant Carland? Spoke with 2 other companies in the area and they said they do that all the time. Its part of customer service which obviously Carland doesnt care about in my opinion
I did not have good experience with Honda Carland, the radar in my accord requires simple re-calibration. The Honda Carland advisor told me the radar is faulty and also the bracket and retainers need to be replaced, a bill of a total of $2500. I took the car to a different dealership and the problem got fixed by simply recalibrated the radar for $300.
Keith Cunningham is wonderful. He took time to explain how the Honda Clarity, a hybrid, works and put me at ease about a long trip I have to make in it. Someone left the car to me, but I live in Clearwater, FL and was worried about making the trip. He spent time answering my questions and explaining how to keep the car in hybrid mode while driving home. I called him after 2 other dealerships in my area blew me off and said that they didnt have them or sell them so they wouldnt talk to me. I wish I lived up there so that I could buy my next car from him. I appreciate people who will help someone when there is nothing in it for them. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a car!
Made an appointment for an oil change a week in advance. Was told that I would be in and out in an hour. When I got there they said it would be 3 to 4 hours because they were very busy there were many cars ahead of me. Apparently appointments meant nothing. When I asked the Service Manager about their policy he said “sorry, we can’t get good help “. He would not address the taking of appointments with no intention of honoring them and wasting customers time. Just sat and repeated “sorry “.
After several months of researching the 2018 Honda Accord, I stumbled upon Honda Carland (I believe it was on CarGurus). Low mileage, CPO, spotless! Adversely, I inquired about the vehicle online while I was battling COVID-19. The salesman, Ryan Walcott, reached out to me. He was exceptionally professional and very understanding of my desire to purchase the car; however, I was still under quarantine and not able to go see the car or even sign paperwork. He sent photos of the car, even allowed my friend to go and check the car out for me. Ryan worked diligently to get the car reserved for me until I was able to get medical clearance to drive 2hrs to Roswell, GA. I encountered a situation, during this time, at my job that had me wavering in my decision to purchase the car. Ryan was very understanding and was a pillar of support every step of the way. He never pressured me into anything. Once things were solidified on my end, he arranged for the car and paperwork to be delivered to my home! It was the most convenient and stress-free purchase I’ve ever made. I am very satisfied with the service provided and will buy here again. Terrible experience. Still battling. Bought new 19 CRV. Bait with low cost- then 1K$ Doc fee / low ball on trade in. But the kicker is they made it sound like I had to purchase Honda Care. Have not been able to get a refund since July. Called and emailed GM, finance, and others. Would not recommend. Wish there was a zero star option. Do not buy here.
Had an appt for 10:30. After calling at 3pm to check on status, they said they probably wouldnt even be able to diagnose the issue. Completely unacceptable. I understand that repairs may not be able to be made same-day. Not even diagnosing same-day for a morning appt is a clown operation.
About 3 weeks ago, we visited the new Honda Carland facilities to have our car serviced for a routine oil change. While waiting my husband asked me if I wanted to revisit trading in our car. I was pleasantly surprised by the ease of this transaction and especially impressed by our sales team, Demetra C, and the finance guy, Enrico Williams! Both were extremely patient and accommodating. This was one of my best experiences with purchasing a car and to top it off, it was a brand new 2020 Honda CRV. I wasnt sure I would come back to this dealership, but I am so glad I did!!!
Demetra was the greatest. She was very attentive and courteous the whole time. I left to look at another car (which was a mistake). I called her right away and told her the price of the other car and she instantaneously told me to come see her and she would beat the price. As soon as I showed back up she had the keys to the car I wanted and she knocked off more than I expected. Keith the used car manager was great as well. He was never pushy or condescending and was a great manager. The business manager was great as well. They all took the time to explain everything I was signing and never talked over me. I bought a CRV in late July. Salesman Bill was top notch — very patient, not pushy, very knowledgeable. I also got the best price in Atlanta (a small discount from MSRP, as the car is popular). But since then, it’s been a disaster. I am still waiting on my tags and the temp tags expire in two days!!! The loan wasn’t posted until AFTER the first payment was due. At their suggestion, I paid it to the dealer instead, and now the loan company has no record of it. Every time I call, one person tells me I have to call another, and the GM hasn’t returned my call. I’m very disappointed with a dealership that I initially loved. And I still have no tags 🤷🏻♀️
Great service, great customer service, great motto of teamwork and collaboration. The person who was my salesman was outstanding, honestly. The whole experience was pleasant until the end. They supposedly heard what I wanted, said they acknowledged what I wanted but at the end of it all, flat out lied to my face. I was told they were going to give me a better deal then advertised. I showed competitors pricing in the area, which they verbally stated they would try to match. The final paper that was given to me from the offer, and it was literally the same as their OWN online price.They bumped up the price tag on the lot (5k difference) and then offered what was shown online.I could’ve just walked in, said I want this car based on their own online price, and it would’ve been the same output versus being at the dealership for multiple hours to be “heard”.Such a shame to have such great service but literally no negotiation.
Dont buy from Cartland Honda, unless you are an expert in detecting scammers. This is just a general recommendation.I am not saying that Cartland Honda people are scammers. They are nice people. See it for yourself.From 2010 - 2021 we bought 8 new cars from different dealers. Every time, the out of the door price and the monthly payment we negotiated was the same with the documents we signed in the financial room.This time was different. First of all, they gave us a good out of the door price, but they have artificially increased the monthly payments (telling us that we dont qualify for a lower payment). We swiftly negotiated that and suddenly they came up with a monthly payment of $450 for a out of the door price of $29800 (for a new 2021 CRV hybrid)However, when we got into the financial room, the guy kept us for almost 3 hours trying to convince us that we only have to pay another about $5 per month in order to get an extended warranty. He did not tell us that the $5 extra per month actually means adding another $2300 to our car loan, and there were other fees that added another $400 to our car loan.We ended up paying $456 per month, for a loan that was almost $3000 higher than what we negotiated for. (So the original $450 per month was a lie and just a bait to trick us into buying their extended warranty).This is unacceptable. Every time we bought a car with other dealers, the negotiated price out of the door (with all the fees included) was the same price we signed for.This is the very first time we felt lied and manipulated. Yes, we were stupid, because we thought Cartland Honda is as honest as most of the car dealers we had business with.I dont trust their Lifetime Warranty anymore. If they were so dishonest when we bought the car, how will they be honest to fulfill their promises for the future.Dont by from Cartland Honda.
Came in to get my partners CRV oil change. Car sat blocking express lane for over an hour cause they didn’t take any info or relay the info I was trying to give. They have teenagers moving cars in the express lane bay and from what I can tell it’s because their service people are afraid to leave their desk several on their smartphones social media and what not leaving the teens outside to do what teens do unsupervised and complete break down in communication. I’m in the market for another car in my very long wait for express service I actively walked the lot looking at cars cause strongly considering civic and did not see one sales person first ever dealership that’s happened. I’m still strongly considering a civic or chr but I’ll buy it from another dealership cause they definitely don’t seem very motivated to help. Worst experience of any dealership I’ve ever been to.
Bill is an excellent salesman. He truly listened and made sure I got the car that fit all my needs. He was easy to talk to. He was honest and patient with me throughout the process. This was the ONLY positive car buying experience Ive ever had (this is my 4th car). I will only talk to Bill about my future car buying needs. El Rico was a great finance manager to work with. This place is a class act! I came in with a power window that wouldnt roll up on my 2007 civic. It was a Saturday and I was moving that Tuesday and was facing an 8 hour drive with the window down. I felt like they could see my distress, promptly fixed the window, didnt charge me even the diagnostic fee and sent me in my way with a freshly washed car and a smile. The place was clean and efficient. The customer service person was helpful, worked 10 times harder than his colleagues and provided timely updates. He even wished me good luck with my move. AMAZING 🤩

I called and they said they would call me about Honda Pilot but they never called back. I called again after 4 hours and left a message as well. Even thou I live in Roswell I reached out to Heritage Honda in Rome, GA. They gave me a great deal and delivered the car for free. Honestly if you know what you want and dont want to haggle. Bought my car in March of this year, had a great experience with the sales side minus a paint protection being added last minute without my permission. It’s now June, and my battery went out, the service department said it may need to have the battery replaced and I asked them to call me BEFORE putting a new battery in if it was needed. They call me and let me know they put a new battery in and I owe them $130. Love my car but won’t be returning to their service department.
From the moment I scheduled a test drive I received wonderful service. I was in constant communication with my care salesman. I really appreciated how patient he was with me as this is the first time ever purchasing a vehicle and I had a lot of questions. For 3 weeks they worked with me to get me the best deal at a finance rate I could afford and I am absolutely in love with my new car. Would highly recommend!
First and last time to buy here. Got a new car, the car is fine. The customer service was awful. First off, no covid19 awareness. Then the worst is the time we spent there. About 3 to 4 hours to get the deal done. The new car was given to us all dusty, they sure were fast to get their trade ins though. Then they sent an sms to my wife saying that we need to give them our social security cards in order to finalize the loan, please send them via email, VIA EMAIL, no way were doing that. The salesperson was bothering us to fill a survey and please give him 100% rating. No spare key, they gave me an IOU for the key and that I should come another day to get it. Im here waiting for it, they told me it would be about 1h30min to get the key.This is the closest dealer to our home, will not be coming here ever again.
Purchased a vehicle March 2020. In August 2020, we decided that we didnt want the prepaid maintenance package we had bought and i went in and spoke to Elrico. He assured me that i would be refunded the full amount since we hadnt used any of the package and that all he needed was a signature, there was no form to fill out. He said give it 4-6 weeks and you should see the credit on your bank loan. I called 2 months later in October. Had to call various times to get ahold of him. At that point he informed me that there actually was a form that i needed to fill out. 2 MONTHS LATER. He sent me the form and I filled it out. Once again i waited until December. After not seeing the credit, i once again called and emailed, until he informed me that it wasnt his job to check on it for me. I asked for his managers information and he informed me that Kenny Kaplan was his manager. I attempted to call various times and left 3 voicemails over a 2 week span. I then sent 2 emails and still no response from the general manager. Finally, in February 2021 i was able to get ahold of a lady at reception that went out of her way to speak to Kenny Kaplan and get me some information. She informed me that the check had been mailed to my bank In late January, almost 5 months after my initial visit. I was also informed that i would only be receiving 80% of what i was told i would get back. We love our Honda, but will never purchase a vehicle here again. Take your business elsewhere. Still waiting to see the credit on my loan.UPDATE: They provided the refund and proof of it 6 months later. So still 1 star

This BY FAR was the best car buying experience that I have had! I had a terrific salesman (Ryan Walcott) who was incredibly patient with me. I was trying to decide between two models and I went on multiple test drives...no pressure, not once. Never a sign of frustration, he just wanted to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. He even told me that after all was done and he drove my new Odyssey from being detailed and he said that he saw my face light up when I saw it and that was worth every test drive! I received a great deal with Ryan and Lauren was my Finance Manager. She made things during the money part effortless and showed me really great options to protect my new van! It was just easy. Horrible experience. I will say Katia and Doc were good. I bought a new Honda Clarity and there are in limited supply in Atlanta which is why I suffered through this experience. I will guarantee had i been purchasing an Accord or Civic I would have walked out and purchased elsewhere.I had pricing pre- negotiated before going. The only thing we had to deal with was the value of trade. Even with that it took over 4 hours to complete transaction. The finance person I dealt with was Elrico Williams and not only was he terrible he litterally tossed the papers on the table after I told him I was not financing with Honda. He tossed the documents on the table told me to sign and he would be back. I have a credit score of over 800 and had alternate financing arranged. He came to me with a rate of 4.9% for 60 months. Had my credit pulled by Honda, Capitol One, and Bank of America and gave me the best rate of the 3 which was Honda. I am 100% sure Capitol One and B of A were lower but then he would make as much.Horrible experience. I emailed Kenny Kaplan the general manager and met with him. I made it clear I did not want anything. I was complaining to get something free. I just wanted him to know what Elrico Williams was doing.If you must buy a car from Honda Carland DONT let Elrico Williams touch your deal or your credit.I take no pleasure in writing this but the way I was treated made me write this review.
Ive had a Honda Insight for 20 years (yes, THAT Insight, not the more recent one) and have never had any complaints bringing it here for minor, major, or other services. Ive had the clutch and battery packs replaced here, and they allowed me to use them with my personally-sourced replacement catalytic converter (charged only for labor, which wasnt bad at all). Ive seen a lot of service folks come and go over the years but Carland remains a great location.
Very disappointed. Honda Carland did not provide the tag for the new car we purchased on time. Had to call and pursue tag and registration that I paid them to do. Even though my tag was running out they refused to issure a new temp. tag. After reading the reviews below I find that I am not the first this has happened to! Be careful buying from them! UPDATE: After multiple calls they did bring me the tag on the last day before thetemp tag expired. I will add a star for that. It was a lot of trouble though!

Over the weekend, my wifes Honda Pilot was suddenly having issues with the backup camera and the infotainment systems. It was around Saturday afternoon and we live close by the Honda Carland service center. I asked my wife to drive and meet me there. In the meantime, I stopped by and spoke to Corey Wright, the Service manager, about the issues. Although he assured me that there should be no danger to continue driving the car, he cannot arrange a diagnostic without an appointment. I explained to him that I have a two year old daughter and would not feel comfortable with my wife continue driving the car. Corey was kind enough to provide us a loaner until they have an appointment on Monday. I appreciated Coreys concerns and providing us a loaner. This is above and beyond my expectation. I am thankful for Coreys excellent service and genuine care for his customers.

What a HORRIBLE experience! We bought a car from this location and we had nothing but headaches.I have never been late on a car payment in my life but when I traded in my car at this location they were over 15 days late paying the car off!Also, the temporary tag for my new car expired over an month ago and they still haven’t got me a new one. When I emailed them with this issue, Wendy said they were going to overnight the tag to me. It’s been days and now they emailed me requesting an emissions test in order to get the tag. The whole experience has been a nightmare! Save yourself the headache and buy somewhere else.
Very quick and easy service. I dropped my car off and took a pleasant shuttle ride to work. About 3 1/2 hours later they called me and said my car was ready to be picked up and asked what time the shuttle need to arrive. On my lunch I took a pleasant ride back to the dealership and collected my paperwork and payed out. My paper worked included all what they did for me and recommendations of what needed to be done. I experienced great quality service!

John, the service advisor, is great and cares about my satisfaction. He alerts me to necessary issues, but doesnt push non-essential services. He also helps me with coupon discounts to help lower the cost. The only thing negative I can say about this particular service time was they failed to alert me to a tail light being out. Otherwise, I am very satisfied with their customer care!
We had the best car buying experience at Honda Carland! I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted and I researched for a solid week. Out of 10 Honda dealerships in the area, I contacted 7 for inventory, pricing, etc. I ultimately chose Honda Carland because they had the best inventory for what I was looking for, have a lifetime Powertrain warranty, and made me the best deal before heading out to a dealership. I loved working with our salesperson, Eboni. She stayed in touch, got back to me quickly, but wasn’t pushy. She got me the discounts I asked for and more! In addition, Tim Chisholm gave us more for our trade-in than expected! We worked with Brett in finance, and not only is he a fellow Cheesehead, but he also helped us to get the best warranty deal so we are covered bumper to bumper for the next 10 years. He explained the terms of our agreement over the phone and honored what he said he would do when I visited the dealership. He also did a great job explaining the features of the vehicle I purchased, respected my time constraints, was polite, and willing to answer any questions I had. I was seriously considering Honda, I went on a Saturday to test drive a NEW CRV. A lot of people were not wearing masks. The guy who started my intake wasnt wearing a mask. Ryan was a pleasure to view the car with but I never got an email or call with prices, like I had requested. Its been 3 weeks and I never got a follow up. I ended up purchasing elsewhere.

Honda Carland has been great at providing routine service on my 2017 Accord, as well as checking out a couple other issues that came up. When I had a nail puncture my tire and cause a slow leak, Carland quickly patched up the tire and re-balanced all my wheels (at no extra charge) to make sure my ride stayed smooth. Then, a couple weeks later, when I hit a full tire that was just sitting on I-75 (and I couldnt change lanes due to a car next to me), Carland didnt charge me to put my car on the lift and look things over to make sure there wasnt any damage underneath. I was skeptical of going to the dealership for service, but theyve been great.
Connery was my service advisor! I went in for a recall and he advised me it would be an hour, he was professional, courteous and was attentive about asking me questions about my car and if there was anything else I wanted to get done! I got my car in the time that was promised and he advised me of future repairs that might be needed. He was so kind I wouldn’t get my car serviced or trust it with anyone else! I came in for an oil change and was received quickly when I entered the service area. Connery was my first point of contact and set a great first impression for the dealership. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough in his explanation of the suggested repairs.I appreciated the shuttle service provided by Honda Carland. Thomas was a great navigator, getting me to and from work in a safe and timely matter.Most importantly, I am pleased with the maintainence services I received. The turnaround time for the oil change and break service was phenomenal. Car is running (and stopping) beautifully this far. Great dealership. Easy to work with. Ryan was a big help and got me a good deal. They do not add any accessories so you dont get stuff you dont want or have to pay for. If I could write a review with negative stars I would! My wife and I came in and test drove a car today and after the test drive we were ready to discuss numbers on it. We felt that it was a little over priced, so like the majority of normal people do when shopping for a car, we asked if there was wiggle room in the price. Our salesperson, Eric (who was fantastic!), went and spoke with his manager. Prior to him going, we said that the car had the check engine light on and we would want that fixed.Eric came back and said the following1) they would reduce but not fix2) Fix the issue and not reduce the price.All we were attempting to do was negotiate the price, if they would have came down $300 or $500 and fixed, we would have purchased a car. But, the manager came out, talked down to us and said definitely not an option to do either of those things.So apparently, theyre okay to sell you a car that has flaws with it!I did some research and per the Georgia Clean Air Force, your car cannot even pass an emissions check if the light is on. Which I mentioned in the discussion and the manager said I was completely wrong and needed to do my own research. Well I did and found that this is what happened.I just want to share my experience so people can be aware of this type of treatment. To be told were okay selling you a car that wouldnt pass a state mandated test should alarm everyone to stay away!

One of the associates, Sean, was really friendly and welcoming towards me. After I told him about my car issues, he gave me multiple possible reasons why my car could be experiencing these problems. Even though I told him I only had one hour to get my battery replaced and that I needed to use the car later on in the day, he and his coworkers immediately got to work. After thirty minutes, he told me my battery was actually fine, and his whole team came out to give me advice on what to keep an eye on when I drive to preserve the battery. I really appreciated all of their help, the employees there are really exceptional

My daughters car has had some issues and Eli in the service dept has handled our issues with professionalism and concern rarely found anymore at dealerships. My salesperson, Alex, was very friendly as were the rest of the sales team ( I cant stress this enough compared to several other Honda dealerships). No pushy or rude folks here. Our young salesman was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Civic I was interested in buying and found one in the color and style I was looking for. However, due to his inexperience, we felt like we were misled as far as the military discount was involved. My husband even researched it online and came away thinking that we would qualify for it. That was not the case, and we were not happy with the way his supervisor handled it. He should have personally straightened it out.Also, the finance officers attitude made it seem that we were not to be trusted. We came in with our own financing, a cashiers check for the tax, title and service fees, and a pre-approved loan from Navy Federal Credit Union. How much more upfront could we have been?And we purchased the package for wheel locks, mud flaps, and rubber mats throughout. We received all but the rubber mats for the interior of the car, front and back. We were told that they had just give out the last set, but have heard nothing further. After paying close to $900, we would like to receive the promised mats.Thank you.

It started with an aggressive price offer through the TrueCar referral service, then a handful of text messages with Tarik and Demetra, and then finishing the purchase in person at the dealership with Ryan Walcott in sales and El Rico in finance. The whole team was professional.Ryan Walcott was very nice, professional, and helpful. Ryan made me comfortable with closing the deal, and made my wife very comfortable with the new vehicle and getting it set up. June 16, 2020On June 11, I purchased a 2020 Honda Civic from Honda Carland. This is my experience with that dealership.I had been planning to purchase a new car for several months and had done a lot of online research prior to going to any dealerships. I test drove a Civic at a dealership in Woodstock in the morning and then decided to go to Honda Carland after viewing a car I liked on their website.My salesman, Amir, was very professional. Since I knew what I wanted, we were able to strike a deal very quickly. The problems started when the business manager got involved.As soon as I met him I told the business manager that I had been pre-approved for a loan by Associated Credit Union. He told me that was great because they use Associated for their financing, too. I offered to show him the email with my approval, but he said he didn’t need it. We went to his office to get the paperwork done. That took several hours.He asked me questions that I came to realize were the questions a credit reporting agency would ask to verify my identity. At no time did the business manager tell me he was running a credit report or ask my permission. He did eventually show me my credit score. At the time I thought he had gotten it from my pre-approved loan documents.The business manager tried to strong arm me into buying an extended warranty even though I told him repeatedly that I was not interested. He just did not want to take no for an answer. He kept telling me he was “doing me a favor”.When I finally left his office I told Amir I felt like I’d been in a hostage situation.The following day after I spoke with my credit union loan officer, I realized he had not used my pre-approved loan, but had initiated a new loan without my knowledge or consent. I am still receiving emails from the Associated loan department that I have a loan available.On June 12 when I realized what the business manager had done, I called and tried to discuss it with manager Tim, but he would not listen to me. He talked over me and never let me finish a sentence. He was rude and dismissive.I assume there was some financial incentive for the business manager to initiate a new loan instead of using my pre-approved loan and also to sell me a warranty I didn’t want.I would buy another car from my salesman Amir, but I would never buy another car from Honda Carland. The business manager must have thought that since I am a senior citizen I was too feeble-minded to know what he’d done or to complain. He is wrong on both counts.My advice is to find another Honda dealer who deals honestly with its customers. After the deceptive and dishonest way the business manager treated me, I will hesitate to believe anything I am told by Honda Carland.
I dont know anyone who looks for to the new car buying experience (even though they are typically very excited about a new vehicle) but my recent experience with Honda Carland was nothing like I expected. From my initial contact (via the Internet) to my leaving with a new vehicle, the experience was very positive. I felt I was treated very fairly, with no sales pressure and very helpful sales and supporting staff.
I again worked with Spencer Sweat in the service department. He is my go-to guy at Honda Carland. Spencer is always quick to return my calls and expedite my service experience. My reason for this visit was a recall on the battery sensor. I was in, got my courtesy car, and my car was ready when I returned. So efficient and just an amazing experience. Thank you Spencer for your incredible customer service.
If you are like me, you are always skeptical when interacting with any kind of salesman; especially a car dealer. However, I can truly say my experience at Honda Carland was one of the best I have ever had. I was personally assisted by a great young man named Justin. He was extremely knowledgeable and very easy/comfortable to work with. Definitely not your typical salesman!I couldnt be any happier with my new 2017 Honda Accord! Overall this was a great experience and I would highly recommend visiting Honda Carland if you are in the market for some new wheels. My next car will definitely be from Honda Carland.P.S. My experience each time I have a scheduled appointment for my Honda to be serviced, Connery treats me as if I am a valued member of his family. He takes time to explain in great detail what needs to be done on my car.Because of the relationship with my service manager, Connery, I feel like a valued and appreciated customer.I have the utmost confidence that I will receive quality service. Purchased a Honda certified used car for my wife and chose not finance it (purchased outright), and both of us got our identities stolen as a result of this purchase. Yes, this was the only purchase for either of us in years that required us to give out our now stolen personal information. The car is great, salesman was great, everyone was really friendly and helpful. We have since spent many hours on the phone with our brand new identity theft protection company, the local police and all the credit reporting agencies, all the fraud departments of the businesses the crooks are purchasing from - not to mention the hundreds of additional dollars this purchase has now cost us. We cannot recommend Honda Carland based on these events.
Pleasurable experience. Started with the Sales Manager who initially met me and understood my needs. He offered me the keys to test drive a similar model and even told me to drive it home to see how it would work in my garage. (I had expressed concern earlier)Upon my return, he introduced me to my sales assistant, Zack, who did a fabulous job of navigating the trade, and purchase of my Ridgeline. The courtesy and professionalism continued with the financing and preparation of the necessary documents. Her clarity and knowledge of the documents requiring my signature certainly increased my trust level. I do not enjoy buying a vehicle, but this experience was definitely a positive one. Thanks!
I was extremely pleased that they were able to identify the problem for my towed car and fix it the same day. The only reason I was not completely satisfied or give it 5 stars is that I found out that other places didnt charge as much. However, that is normal for a dealer and I have no guarantee that the other places would have been able to have me back on the road so quickly. I will definitely go back.

For some time my check engine light had been coming on and then going off, but the last time it was accompanied by the engine sputtering while on Ga. 400, which was scary, so I made an appointment for the next morning. My only disappointment was that the appointment assured only that Id be taken, just not right away, since they were very busy.I spent the 45 minutes (with my little dog) in the comfortable, mostly quiet waiting room, talking with others and reading a book I brought along until the diagnosis was ready: John Peterson said I needed a new cam position sensor. We agreed on a negotiated price, then I asked for a got a loaner (an adorable yellow Fit), and went home. A few hours later, John called to say that in trying to access the part, an alternator bolt broke, necessitating the replacement of it, too. I wasnt delighted with the news, but authorized the replacement, understanding that my car is indeed 14 years old and that things wear out.When it was done, John let me know, but by then it was rush hour, so I decided to return in the morning, which I did. When I went to my car, I noticed that it hadnt been run through the car wash, so one of the valets did that for me, and off to the farmers market I went.One is never happy spending $725, but my 2003 Civic is running great again, and I could not be more pleased with the attention I got. Thanks to John for his good attention and to Chris, the very pleasant mechanic, for fixing the car and explaining on the invoice exactly what he did.

I truly believe that he, as the manager is a true example of leadership, and demonstrates his relationship with the customers. He and his staff are truly interested in their customers. I had problems with my car and Alex took care of me. He truly did. My car is in tiptop condition because of the guys at Honda Carland. I was thoroughly pleased with my experience at Honda Carland. Although we arrived later in the afternoon, the salesperson and finance person did not try to rush us at all. They were courteous and helpful and explained everything about the car that we purchased in great detail. I love the new car and would definitely consider buying another vehicle there if and when we need one.
Was just at the Carland dealer this morning for usual maintenance items (oil, alignment, tire rotation) - they advertise they accept coupons / prices from competition, but it turned out to be false information: the service rep started by saying only 1 coupon from the competition can be used, and then the service manager said they could provide a discount but not honor the other dealer posted price – their discounted price was around 20% higher. The main issue is the attitude - they dont seem to care at all for their advertised prices. I left without having the service done. recommend you look for a more serious dealer.
Sales staff here was great. Would recommend their sales staff and experience highly. However, when it comes to the service department, they have recently gone down hill - and down hill fast. Theyve started to nickel and dime people (brand new car with full & extended warranty). Latest experience left me waiting in the waiting room for 2+ hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and air filter change. They did the oil change. Thats all. Had to ask them to please do the rest of what was requested. Additionally, after one year of ownership, I received the free update for the navigation system. Of course, the update would error on me. When I inquired about having them take care of this for me (an obvious request), I was met with the request that I pay them $210 to set an upload. Ummm... Im in I.T., and this has every hallmark of a scam written all over it. At best, its simply over-billing for a service that should be free. Interestingly, this type of screw the customer mentality is becoming all too common, and for me, I will simply buy from another brand now. Its sort of a shame to think that the lifetime value of a customer from Hondas perspective has already been exceeded. Ill be looking at a Toyota for my next vehicle now - for me, service is an important factor, and to have this experience is a deal-breaker for future business.
I have had the most terrible experience at Carland.Firstly, their salesmen NEED to know more about the vehicle that they are showing us. They dont even know the exact pricing on it. And after several follow ups & reconfirmations regarding the vehicles price when I finally drive all the way from Midtown to Alpharetta, their team has the audacity to tell me that I have looked at the wrong prices? Seriously?And their managers are absolutely rude and need to speak with their customers with some manners. Never recommending anybody to this place. Ever.I dont even want to give the one star. But the page is not allowing me to give 0 stars.
Mike Rivera and his service team were excellent. He took great care and put attention to detail and addressed all my concern related to my car. He has gone the extra mile that you seldom see from many service centers. My car drives like new :) I appreciate all the hard work work that you guys have put it in.

Worst customer service ever. Its obvious that this dealership doesnt care about earning repeat customers. The price for the car was decent. Prior to the sale, the salesperson was very attentive and helpful. She answered every call, she returned text messages promptly, she returned emails promptly - she gave me the impression that this company was very professional and businesslike.Once the contract was signed, my experience turned one hundred and eighty degrees. She lost one of the key fobs to my car, canceled my first appointment to get a new one made up, and didnt even bother showing up for my second appointment to get a new one. Instead, she passed me off to someone I had never even met before. She stopped answering phone calls, and she stopped returning messages completely.I have questions that I need someone in the finance department to answer, but trying to speak to someone in the finance department has been a nightmare. After making nearly a dozen calls, I finally managed to speak to a living person. I explained my problem to him, and he promised he would investigate and call me back the next day. A week later, after I had not heard from him again, I tried to call back. After a half dozen more calls, I just gave up.If this is the way this dealership treats its customers, then I want no part of being a customer. The next time I need a new car, I wont be visiting Honda Carland, and Ill recommend very strongly to all my friends that they go somewhere else. Its true what they say about the sweetness of low price is forgotten while the bitterness of poor service lasts forever.
Excellent sercice. The scheduler managed to arrange me to receive the service 45 mins after I called in. Mr John Peterson took care of my car within the time frame he promised. The final price was a little higher than the one he told me upfront. But he still only charged me with the price he quoted. They make every effort to keep their promises. They are trustworthy and friendly. Highly recommend!
In the beginning I thought the whole buying process went smoothly and I was very pleased and impressed with everything. Come to find out two days after having my car, Andre called saying my interest rate and loan amount were messed up and stated that my payments would be increasing tremendously. I left the dealership thinking everything was handled when nothing was happening. I contacted my bank and they had no record of anything from Honda Carland for me. So I was forced to return my car three days after purchasing it. This was my first time buying a car on my own and it has been horrible, I would not recommend. They also have multiple fees that are not necessary but they try to sneak them in there to up payments (they quoted my GAP more than double the amount they said my bank actually charges).
Honda Carland on Alpharetta Highway has given me exceptional service since my first Honda purchase in December 2018. They are kind and courteous. The sales process was non pressured and they were very patient with all of my questions. Service is fast and when there is a wait, they set my expectations appropriately! John Peterson was an absolutely amazing service representative. He heloed me each step through my insurance claim, and would always update me on the progress. When it came time for me to pick up my vehicle, he was fast and efficient with the paperwork.As I drove off the lot, I noticed an odd sound coming from the tires. I told John about it when I went back, and he sincerely apologized as the mechanic had left a dust shield somewhere. He had them remove it quickly, and had them put on some wheel locks I had purchased at no additional cost. He had me back on the road in no time at all. I cant believe the extreme professionalism that John Peterson and Honda Carland exemplifies on a routine basis. Its always a great experience when I visit!
Had great service experience with David Woods. Car was ready in very little time , and I was greeted with a smile seen as soon as I walked in the door. His 25 years in car service is a real plus! My experience at Honda Carland was exemplary. Zach Bowman and the rest of the staff were a joy to work with. He listened to what I wanted in a vehicle, and worked to find the best financing possible for me - which was a much better deal than what others had to offer. I ended up buying a 2015 CR-V EX-L that was a floor model. A big part of the staff ended up moving the entire show room so I could test drive. Everyone worked together seamlessly to make the buying experience as painless as possible.To give you an idea of just how good they were: I visited Honda Carland at 1 PM on a Friday. I had previously talked with Zach about financing, and they had already worked out an estimate. By 2 PM I was test driving. By 2:45 PM I was finalizing a deal. By 3:45 I had finished the paperwork. By 4:15 I was getting an orientation to the HondaLink system and setting up some of the tech options. By 4:30 I was out the door with a new car. Everyone - and I mean everyone - was running on full pistons, was polite and respectful, and seemed extremely devoted to making the experience a positive one.I cannot recommend Honda Carland enough. Extraordinary staff, extraordinary experience. You will not be disappointed.
I had a wonderful experience at Honda Carland in past and even better experience provided to me in recent service. Mr. Michael Service Advisor is extremely helpful and got me the car I wanted. He was very friendly and made my experience better then ever. He was also helped me to resolve Bluetooth issue. Checked other things as well like engine and cabin filter which saved my money. 2022-06-26Ive taken my car here twice, once for a simple oil change and then again for scheduled maintenance. Both times Ive been impressed by how well they treat you, like sending an Uber to your house when its time to pick up your car and going out of their way to get discounts to apply. It cant be good for their profit margins, but it makes for a good customer experience.The place is a little isolated, unsurprisingly, but if you dont mind walking ~20 min you can get to a nice little shopping area where you can wait for your vehicle to finish. Theres also a very nice cemetery nearby, for those so inclined.

I have waited for my vehicle and received loaner vehicles when heavier maintenance is required. The staff is friendly and the service tech’s know their jobs and explain what is being done what might be needed in the future. I highly recommend Honda Carland Service Center!

2022-01-08Brought our car in to have a quick look at the brake system. They came back with over $800 worth of charges that they believe should be done on the car. When we came in for a loaner they asked us for proof of insurance. I gave them my insurance card. That wasn’t enough. They said they must hear directly from our insurance agent what kind of coverage we have before we can get a loaner. I am 56 years old and I’ve never had an experience where I have to talk to the insurance agent in order to get a loaner. It was a Saturday. We called the agency and there was a hold time of 26 minutes. They told me there is no other option. I asked for the manager. Jamie Pearce came over and she started to speak to me in a very condescending way. I asked her not to speak to me in a condescending way. She did not appreciate my that and continued to speak to me in a condescending manner. My issue with this dealership is twofold… First, ever since moving to Roswell and bringing our Honda here they have been telling us we need more repairs for our car than ever before. I believe they look for incremental revenue opportunities and over sell services that you don’t need. The last Honda dealership I went to hardly ever took advantage of unnecessary service quotes. Second, I have never needed to connect directly with an insurance agent in order to get a loaner car. They were honestly not giving any other option but to wait 26 minutes for a loaner. I decided to take my car back and I will never return to this location for service. Poor management. After managing hundreds of people in my life I can also tell that the staff is terrified of the boss. That is the culture here. Very unfortunate and could have been handled so differently. Ironically, this is where I bought the car. Wish I hadn’t ever given them my business.

In addition, I received good diagnostics about what need to be done in the future, but is not urgent at this time. 2021-12-30I contacted this dealership in search of a Honda Accord Sport 1.5 which is in high demand. A salesman who was a fast-talker and young (less than 40 years of age) assisted me. I cannot remember his name, but my experience of Honda Carland will forever be remembered. After I inquired about the car, he told me that it was available for the $28,945 that was listed on cars.com. I inquired about tax, tag, and dealer fees which are typically about a 1k. He said “if that’s what you think you are going to get in 2021 you are crazy. I just sold a Honda Accord Sport 1.5 for 35k yesterday and won’t be selling one today for less”. He got rude on the phone and told me that will never happen because we are up selling our cars by $2500 plus the traditional fees. I just wanted to know the difference in the traditional dealer fees and what he was telling me that Carland was offering. I have never been talked to so rudely by a car salesman. I was just asking a question never once did I say that I wanted him to change his price for me. I have brought many cars, but he told me that is how they sell them in the city. So, I will stay in the country and buy from a dealership that values effective communication, respect, and customer service. Unfortunately, for him to talk to me like he did, he has done this before because he was too comfortable speaking that way.
