This hotel made feel like family... From valet car service to check in customer service was great! The food is delicious I had bunch they make the own preserver jelly peach so so good....the river view and walk there to. Room was very clean nice and comfort. All the employees was down to earth even the management team was happy. That good when people like where they work...will be back until next time...
Came here for dinner but there isnt much of a dinner menu. Mostly unique bar appetizers that were still delicious, the pulled pork BBQ nachos were surprisingly fantastic. The setting is very pretty, over looking the water. I really wanted one of the porch swings but there isnt a wait list, its all first come first serve and its definitely more of a bar setting so its a relax and chill place not set up for nice dinners. Id suggest going for drinks after dinner! I didnt get to see it at night but being that high up overlooking the water I am assuming is breathtaking. I will definitely be checking it out again on a drinking night!
Brian & hasberry(front desk), David(valet)& Neil. Finally found my note. Excellent service! Made us feel like family. No matter what time of the day, every single staff member was kind and helpful. There was also a young man at the valet who was a dog whisperer. My dog doesnt like men, except for him! Both restaurants were great, love the view. Will return!
This hotel is amazing. My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night as we didn’t want to take our honeymoon until the summer.I love how they incorporate Columbus history into the rooms. Everyone from the valet to the front desk staff are amazing and helpful. I can’t wait to go back and try the rooftop restaurant.
Loved the way this hotel honors the history of local textile industry! Such a great modern/industrial vibe! Gorgeous location on the rapids. Can’t say enough good things about the staff- helpful, courteous, full of great suggestions & always with a genuine smile! Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed my stay from beginning to end. The hotels location by the river and design aesthetic are wonderful. I loved the lobby, restaurant and rooftop bar. And the room decor was unique, stylish, very comfortable and luxurious. The staff were all warm, welcoming and proactive. I really cant say enough positives -- an overall great experience.
I really enjoyed my brief but amazing experience here. The staff was warm, friendly and professional. The facility is amazing with its setting on the river and the decor honoring the Historic downtown area. The facility was exceptionally clean which reflects a caring and professional attitude overall. I look forward to staying here again upon my return to Columbus!
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were refreshingly decorated and very clean. The service was excellent, including valet parking. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. Food was amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Columbus. It is just a few blocks from the downtown area.
This was a last minute reservation after our first one turned out to be a run down gross hotel. This hotel was beautiful and the staff was very accommodating with our 3 children and dog. By the time we drove across town and checked in, everything was ready to go. Valet parking was a bit expensive, but with the cold weather it turned out to be a blessing to have it pulled up to the front door anytime we were ready to go. We we checked in after we had been driving for 9 hours and the kids and dog were really crazy. The valet was kind enough to push our luggage cart all the way to the room for us. Checking out was a breeze, and the sweet front desk women Kimberly went out of her way to go up to our room, retrive my wedding ring I forgot and mail it to me on her way home! I will never forget their generosity and making a otherwise stressful trip enjoyable!
Stayed here twice while our son was living in Columbus. Wish he would be here longer so we could visit again. Ashlie at the front desk is a doll. And Im still dreaming about the Cosmo (ok...2 Cosmos!) Gregory made. All the staff are wonderful and helpful. Rooftop bar is so much fun. Great location, great vibe!
Everything was wonderful, check in, valet, room. No bell service which is ok. Valet guys were great and when they got backed up one of the check-in staff helped out, (nice) The only downside was they had a breakfast buffet on mothers day that was dismal. No menu service, just buffet, scrambled eggs, bacon, brisket, grits, thats it. Had they warned us in advance we would have made other plans, and hey its mothers day, Moms deserve better.
I went to check in after a long day at the office and was greeted with I was kind of hoping you werent going to get here until 11 PM so you could just go straight to bed. Obviously, not a great start. What the nice gentleman who is the supervisor was trying to say, but apparently forgot that I am a customer not a cohort, was that my TV is broken. To which I responded, okay?, because obviously this is not my problem to solve. Following up his opening line he then said that we are sold out and since you are only here for one night we cant move you to another room and our engineer isnt here. Again, not really what you want to hear as a customer or as a person who just wants to take a show and go to dinner. Annoyed and without another option I said Ok...again not my problem to solve. While they did reduce my room rate and give compd drinks and breakfast tickets its really more of the lack of concern given that I was only staying one night and the fact that I am not a team mate and I realize its not your fault the tv is broken but its not mine either. When I arrive in my defunct room, I find the sound working but the screen not. On top of that my remote doesnt work to turn off the tv and there are no buttons available on the tv itself to turn it off. Not great. I have now opted to attempt unplug said tv from the wall but given it is behind a cage of sorts its a bit more challenging than expected. But I did do that. After dinner, lights out and Netflix on my phone. Ive plugged my Work Phone into one outlet to charge and my personal in to the other. Wouldnt you know it in the morning I find that only the power in half the room works. I would say thats an anomaly except I experienced it before at this hotel.Look, Im trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt but it is getting to be real hard, And it feels like I have no choice since its proximity to my office is choice. To this I would say to IHG...help this location get it together, its a great location and hotel needs help.
This is a great hotel! My room was not clean upon arrival. When I went in there were wrappers and a little unkempt-ness from when the housekeeping service came through. They didn’t fully clean everything, but it was not an end all be all. The room was great, the front desk staff was incredible, and the hotel itself was very nice.
Total five star experience and a great nights sleep! I really cant praise everything enough here. Beautiful hotel, loved how it felt very Columbus (reflective of the history and vibe in design and decoration), appreciated the extremely comfortable bed (a fellow work traveler said it was the best sleep he ever had), the rooftop bar I didnt get to spend much time in due to work schedule was awesome, loved the river views, staff genuinely friendly and excellent. Valet was quick and courteous, wait and bar staff super friendly and kind, front desk staff was everything youd want front desk staff to be: professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful (especially Div, who was the one usually at the desk when I was checking us in or had questions). The only downsides were purely circumstantial: theres still a bit of construction around this area of new hotels but the area is already beautiful with the riverwalk and exterior of Hotel Indigo. Also, its just a bit too far to walk back and forth to the Convention and Trade Center (especially considering weather or walking back alone late at night) and I felt silly driving back and forth considering how close it was, so for now I can see it being a less-than-ideal place for someone traveling by air for a convention here . . . but this too is temporary. I hear theres a plan very much in the works for a trolley or tram or something between this area of hotels and the convention & trade center, so well be back next year!
Parking is a bit of a hassle . But it seems as though a parking garage is in the works. Otherwise , beautiful hotel. Something else to note is that no rooms have microwave. According to a person at the front desk, microwaves was a detail that was overlooked during the final stages of getting the rooms ready. There is a nice restaurant and a rooftop bar. And beautiful views of the river . Great spot for a wedding party
This is a very nice hotel with a good view of the river. The lady at the front desk was exceptional even though she is an accountant filling in. Our hotel room on the 6th floor was a king suite and satisfied our expectations. The location is convenient and I love that it’s on the riverwalk. The restaurant on site is delicious and we look forward to breakfast.
*Beautiful Location/Views*Excellent Service*Onsite bar/restaurants*ValetCheck in and out were quick/easy. Property and rooms are beautifully appointed. All staff on the property were extremely friendly from valet to the chef.Rooms are beautiful and feel like home versus hotel. Beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Bathroom was nice and large with walk in shower, cleanliness was substandard from soap scum, dirty floors, and no toilet paper.Eighteen 85 on the rooftop has beautiful unmatched views day/night, Id suggest visiting both times of day. There is comfortable seating/lounge as well as bar seating with incredible drinks/service. We had several drinks and a charcuterie, all were stellar!Denim and Oak, the restaurant/bar in the lobby did not disappoint, we stopped in for brunch. They offer outdoor Riverside dining weather permitting. We had the mimosa flight, which although its picturesque, we werent impressed with the flavors. The food made up for the not so impressive drinks. The brisket and breakfast tacos were presented beautifully and flavored to perfection (note brisket has barbecue on it and would be fine without it), so tasty! The 13th street pedestrian bridge is just a few steps outside this property, dont miss the views from there and the experience of walking over the rapids! This hotel has many amenities to offer guests, you could literally spend a weekend here and never have to leave the property! After staying at two other hotels on the river, this is our pick of the three!Dont be off put by the valet, we used it, however we had no Im issues finding parking between Indigo and The Rapids on a few occasions either! We will be back soon, Thank you!
On this particular visit, I went downstairs to have breakfast which was clearly marked on the sign in front of the host stand to open at 6:30. There was no one there to seat me. When I looked over at the front Desk I found three staff members hanging out and chatting. It wasnt until I walked in that direction to ask for someone to seat me that one of them in who was in a hoodie not even an Indigo hoodie or jacket said oh yeah, it doesnt open until 7:30. When I pointed at the sign someone else from the front desk walked over and moved it out of sight.About 15 minutes later now 6:45AM an older couple came off the elevators and someone magically appeared to seat them. When I looked up from my computer at the front desk the lady saw my irritation and told me from across the lobby that someone had called in and now they have people to work. I was eventually seated and served, but it would seem if staff is not available to seat there was would be a back up plan. This hotel is used by my Company and others as well geared towards Business travelers so 6:30AM is a reasonable time for staff to be on their toes ready to receive and address any issues or concerns.I will chalk this us to a one time occurrence.
We booked this hotel partly because we are familiar with the name (previously had a Hotel Indigo in our home town). The hotel is situated right next to a river and is very well designed, both layout and decor. The valet is reasonable in price compared to our previous destination on this trip (the only non-valet parking is a little bit of a walk in public parking) and so we used it; all the valets were friendly and welcoming. We got there late, but Sharon at the front deskchecked us in, double checked and made sure our room was clean, and was very informative when asking about room cleaning, room service, and amenities. The room was very nice and stylish. The rooms come with king beds standard (which we enjoy just for the sake of having enough bed sheets to share during sleeping hours) and the bathrooms were very nice and well updated. The only critque of our room is that there is a lounge chair which (although giving more space to place your bags and items) blocks the curtain and makes it a little bit cumbersome to close them at night. The rooftop bar was enjoyable. The service was attentive and welcoming. We had a mint chocolate martini and a cinnamon cocktail, which were tasty abd dangerous (as you cant treally taste the alcohol - as it should be) recommendations. Becareful of the dive bombing gnats as it is open air, but a simple napkin over your drink will keep them out with no further issues. The hospitaltiy and attentiveness, even when the wife needed something as simple as a cup of coffee as we were trying to rush out to the airport our checkout morning, along with the reasons stated above, really put this place at the top of our hotel list and will be booking again if we are ever back in Columbus.
I drove to Columbus for a weekend trip with my girlfriend just to hangout and connect with an old friend who lives there. Beautiful hotel with a very nice rooftop bar overlooking the river. The outstanding service and friendly staff made our trip perfect…the concierge (Brian) and valet teams were awesome; the rooftop bartenders were fabulous (shoutout to Eunice!); and the overall ambiance and chic style of the property was top notch. Will definitely stay there again if I’m ever in Columbus!!!
I will start off by saying that the front desk, valet, and custodial staff were EXCELLENT during our stay. Very friendly and welcoming. The event staff, not so much.My mother reserved the event space for my stepdad’s birthday party this past Saturday. We were expecting approximately 85 people. Money was never an issue, because my mother wanted this to be something to remember for all attending. The AC was not working properly. Emily assured us that they (maintenance) were actively working to fix the problem. She claims that the AC just needed time to kick in and cool the building down. Unfortunately, that never happened. We ended up finding out from one of the clerks at the front desk that they had been having AC issues for several days. Oh really now? If this was known for several days, why weren’t better accommodations made? We were given two large fans to “cool” a room of 80+ people. The fans didn’t even reach certain areas of the room, so some of our guests left the party early due to feeling faint.Let’s talk about food and wait staff. The taste of the food was pretty good. Each catered plate is about $75 with 22% gratuity included. 22% gratuity that didn’t include any service!1. Food was self served, no waiters/waitress to serve the food.2. No one came to refill our luke warm water. Besides being in the sauna like room, we weren’t given any ice water. It’s GEORGIA, not Alaska. It’s hot here 80% of the year!3. Supposedly they served tea as a drink option but you had to ask the bartender for it. Many of our guests (including myself) didn’t know tea was available, because you know, usually those things are brought out by the wait staff so our guests ended up paying $4 for a can of soda.4. Not once did anyone come to check on the tables to see if we would like any food/drinks.Soooo what exactly is the 22% gratuity for?????Also, please tell your event staff to talk trash after hours. It was so unpleasant to hear them saying “all we did was complain about the AC” Please fork over thousands of dollars for sub par service and a sauna temp room.No I will not recommend this place unless they do some rehiring. People want value for their money. Hotel indigo is a great location and has potential to be a great asset to the Columbus community. A few bad apples will ruin your reputation, quickly!!
I wanted to love my stay here, but It was just ok. The hotel itself was really nice..the room could have been a tad bit cleaner for my liking, the vent in front of the bed was full of dust and the bathroom floor wasn’t swept , but that wasn’t really the issue for me. The last night we were there (Saturday), I’m assuming they had some type of party on the floor above us. Literally from 10:30pm til about 5:00am all we could hear was extremely loud talking/ yelling ,a lot of moving things around and shoes squeaking almost sounded like people were running around. By the time I got to sleep it was time to get up. Thankfully the other night wasn’t like this. I really Wish I could have thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
I was greeted by orange cheese cracker crumbs outside the room.I was greeted by long black strand of hair in the showerI was greeted by dirty a/c unit to the left of the bed closest to the large glass window. Some needs to spot check house keeping to make sure those rooms are spotless. This is not my 1st negative experience with a top flight hotel marketing itself as clean and failing. You can do better. Spot check housekeeping
Born and raised in Columbus, I was more than proud of how the hotel decor honored the hometown heritage. Their modern vibe embraced the beautiful wild Chattahoochee River, the huge spinning mill nostalgia, Columbus Coca Cola and WC Bradley history, the arts and our proud military connections.
I called to ask if this location was pet friendly. I was told no - which is fine, no problems there. I went to reply that I was looking for a location approved by my company and the rep then hung up on me sentence. I am still baffled as to why. I found that very rude.
Hotel Indigo is a cut above the rest of all the hotels in the area. I love how well I was treated by Brian at the front desk. He was incredibly welcoming and took the time to place me in a room aligned with my preferences. I loved the luxe modern appearance of my room and bathroom. The bedding was incredibly comfy and the blackout drapes were a great touch. This resulted in me getting a great night’s rest. I also enjoyed having a few drinks at the rooftop bar and chatting with the friendly bartender and staff. I can’t wait to stay at this hotel the next time that I visit Columbus.
Stayed for three nights as my son was getting married this weekend. Amazing staff took care of all of our needs and then some. I work in the hotel industry and have stayed at five star resorts that were not as good as this property. Great bed. Great food. Amazing roof top bar. The best breakfast ever!!
From the valet to check out our stay was fantastic. Valet was quick and courteous. Front desk were polite and friendly. The rooms have a moody color scheme that looks expensive. Tile work in shower was on point and tied well to overall interior design. Love the brass and matte black towel bars. Roof top bar has an amazing view.
This hotel brings a new, urban and energetic stay for downtown Columbus. My wife and I celebrated her Birthday for two days in a suite. It was everything we imagined and more. The stay truly turned into an experience that is hard to find in Columbus. The food was amazing and our night life was thoroughly entertained with the rooftop bar.
The hotel is beautiful with the way it is styled and surrounding area. You don’t have to drive to fine dining or nearby stores, most of everything you need is at the hotel or a short walking distance. All the staff from Valet, to front desk, to restaurant is always accommodating, polite and smiling which is truly refreshing. We stay here every time we are in town visiting my in-laws. Keep up the amazing work of taking great care of your guest:
Good location and great staff. Hats off to Kimmie at the front desk. Positive, nice and welcoming. She actually cares about guest happiness. The location is next to the river and the hotel is modern. Good restaurant inside and bar/light food on rooftop. Room was quiet and pillow selection was great (4 per. bed various softness). Slept well. I have zero complaints and would return.
One if the best hotel experiences Ive had in a while!!! Hotel Indigo is FIRST CLASS! Its clear that everybody associated with this location has adopted a customer centered approach to hospitality. The rooms are super clean. The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurants have delicious menus and great seating areas. I dont know when Id ever need to return to Columbus, GA, but this amazing hotel on the Chattahoochee River is a great getaway!!
This is such a great addition to Columbus—been traveling there for business for years and I loved my stay at the Indigo! It’s so well decorated, very stylish. The room felt very homey, not boring like a traditional hotel room. The rooftop deck and bar is amazing with gorgeous views of the river and SWINGS! Definitely will stay here again.
The bed and bedding was very comfortable. Great access to electrical plugs while in bed for phone charging. Lighting in the room was good but it would be nice if the bathroom had a lighted make-up mirror. The wait staff at the rooftop bar were great, very friendly and helpful. The desk staff and group outside were also very helpful and friendly.
What a wonderful stay at the Indigo! The customer service is excellent from the valet, front desk, and the beautiful rooftop bar/restaurant staff. This hotel is right on the river. Views of the rapids from the room were gorgeous and fun to watch rafters. I loved the contemporary interior design in the lobby and room. Very cool! Downtown restaurants were a quick scenic riverwalk away. Hotel Indigo is the perfect location to stay in Columbus
My wife and i couldnt have asked for a better stay at your Columbus Riverfront property. The facility and location are terrific. Amazing views of the city and river, particularly from the rooftop bar. Super cool design and artwork. And the staff is literally some of the most friendly and helpful people we have ever experienced and we have traveled extensively around world. So, keep up the great work and well spread the word. Thank you for a great stay.
Our family really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. We were greeted as soon as we drove onto the property by valet. Check in and out was seamless and the hotel staff was absolutely amazing. The room was clean and very nice. The rooftop was EVERYTHING. The property is beautiful and well kept. We will definitely be staying here again!
Overall experience was absolutely fantastic. A beautiful hotel perched up next to the river. The atmosphere was jumping and the food was just about the best Ive had anywhere. You wont worry about how much the food is once you taste it, prices literally leave your mind for the savory OMG goodness experience youll be having. Once youve woken up with the wow breakfast and eyes rolling into the back of your head lunch or dinner, cap off the night on the rooftop bar. The views are spectacular and the drinks are heaven. I forgot I had a room there with how fun it was just to be there. My suite was gorgeous with a view to match. The are you kidding me with this bathroom was unbelievable. If I could live here I would. If you have a chance to stay, do it, if you dont, do it anyway.
One of the best first nights sleep in a hotel. I normally do not sleep well the first night in a hotel and that was not the case here. My only complaint was the lighting had odd switches so when I walked in the lights didnt turn on at first. But room is decorated nicely.
This was really a lovely hotel. The location was perfect with a Beautiful view of the Chattahoochee river. It was very easy to get to parking was quick and convenient. Valet parking was available. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and receptive. We got checked in immediately with no problems at all. Our room was really clean as were the halls and common areas. The Decour in the room was well thought out in regards to important things to the Columbus Georgia area. We took advantage of the hotel roof bar which was absolutely stunning. Open clean airy and with a view of the river that can’t be topped.
We were in town for our sons wedding. When I tell you everything was perfect, everything was perfect. Guests were greeted with warm smiles from the moment we landed on the property to the very moment we all said our good byes to one another and to the hotel staff! The rooms were, modern, yet warm and inviting and the beds, SO COMFORTABLE. We had quite a sizable group fly in. The roof top bar was the perfect meeting place for all 60 of us to eat, hangout and relax. The downtown area, rafting, zip-lining, rehearsal dinner, and wedding reception was less than a 4 minute walk from the hotel. Making the stay even easier. No one needed a car. Columbus is a gem of a city and so is this hotel. A large group of us are already planing a visit back for the fall of 2022 to watch the International World Cup Whitewater Rafting event.
Went here for my birthday. Place was clean food delicious and drinks were made just right! The rooftop bar is very nice, has a laid back atmosphere. Is a vibe up there! Spectacular view of the Chattahoochee and Riverwalk. There are vertical heaters throughout to help keep you warm during fall and winter. Will definitely go back here. I had a great experience.
We were greeted by workers right when we pulled up, they offered to help us with our luggage. While checking in the front desk lady was very helpful and so super nice. We were even allowed to check in early which we were worried about. When we got into our hotel room the first thing we noticed was how unique this hotel room looked compared to the standard hotel room. The walls were a dark beautiful blue and it had a very nice feeling to it. It felt very at home to me. Previous to booking this hotel I stayed at a high end hotel that I paid almost double the amount for and I got better service and was cared for more here then at the more expensive one. I originally booked the room for just 1 night and then was going to go to a cheaper hotel to save on money but ended up having such a positive experience within the first 5 hours that I ended up booking the rest of my stay at this hotel. The staff at the Columbus, GA was seriously incredible. I felt like I had known them forever from the moment I walked in. They were all so helpful and made the experience amazing. They even gave my sister and I a free drink coupon to use at the bar, which was so thoughtful. The rooftop bar had incredible views and even though it was busy at the times we went the bartenders were amazing. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and this was by far the best experience ever. I would travel to GA just to stay here again. I will forever stay at Hotel Indigo when it’s available. It’s worth the money to just feel at home and like your surrounded by friends and family.
I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Love the location and rooftop bar. It’s close to everything. I didn’t care for the valet parking. Guest should be given the option to self park or valet. Just annoying not have access to your car whenever you want. Food needs improvement.!Rate was a little pricey but that’s to be expected because of it location. Overall, I enjoyed may stay and will stay here again.
From the moment we arrived everyone was very friendly and appeared to enjoy being able to help. If you get the pleasure of meeting Ashlee at the front desk she is so kind. All the the staff in the restaurants and rooftop bar were exceptional and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The area surrounding the hotel is nice and well kept. We will stay again.
We greatly enjoyed our recent stay at the Hotel Indigo. Everything about our room was wonderful. The only things I noticed that could be improved were (1)the bathroom lighting needs a vanity mirror with targeted lighting for ladies applying makeup or for anyonewith less-than-perfect eyesight, and (2) while the barn door was an amazing detail, there was a gap between the door and the wall which made bathroom toilet trips a bit awkward. (3) Parking was also extremely limited and we much prefer a self-parking option.
Beautiful hotel- the staff was wonderful. I wish I could remember the gentlemans name at the front desk the nights we stayed for my husbands birthday - he was so fun and welcoming! The area is up and coming and this hotel is within walking distance to a lot of unique restaurants, both casual and upscale. The river view rooms are worth the extra cost and the urban boho decor definitely made the hotel feel chic and expensive. We will definitely stay here again.
Hubby & I attended a wedding reception there and we can honestly say the food served was excellent. The food was flavorful, served hot, plentiful and artfully displayed. In addition the staff was great and attentive. The hotel it self is designed in a nice modern style. Also check out the bar on the 7th floor best views of the mountains and river.
Hotel staff was very accommodating and wore masks. Sanitation stations throughout. The rooftop restaurant was absolutely beautiful. A nice walk across the River Walk to Phenix City, AL. Staff were extremely courteous and the valet parking was good. Definitely do the valet parking. The River view room was good. The room and bathroom was a bit smaller than I expected and there was no microwave. I would suggest to add a sundry or place to purchase sodas or last minute essentials.
This hotel has a tremendous staff and excellent facilities. The views are out of this world. Great location if one likes city and nature. The river views are unparalleled. Sitting on the pool deck and seeing the river provides such calm and peaceful pleasure. Did I mention the excellent staff?
I live in Atlanta and I am very much a city person. Hotel Indigo is perfect! The hotel feels like a hotel you would experience in Manhattan or Chicago. The rooms are beautiful! The area feels urban, yet very safe! Downtown Columbus is absolutely adorable- there are many great restaurants and areas to explore walking distance from the property. Also the staff is amazing- from Shaun in valet, to the lady that checked me in, to the manager- everyone was lovely! Keep up the good work! I’m looking forward to returning next week!
The entire staff is superb. I think that the hotel is doing an admirable job during very difficult times. The room could have been a little cleaner, especially floors, corners and around furniture. The bathroom was quite dusty in the corners. There was water leaking from the bottom of the refrigeratorThe refrigerator had not been cleaned from the previous guest - half-consumed soda bottle left in refrigeratorNo trash can liner or laundry bag - had to ask for them - staff was very accommodating when asked to supply items. Tnx.
This hotel was unique and very cool. We loved the vibe. It was clean, relaxing, welcoming and luxurious all at the same time. The rooms were comfortable and well thought out. We were disappointed we didnt have time in our schedule to enjoy the pool or the roof top bar - we hope to come back again and have more time to enjoy the hotels amenities a little more. The area around the hotel was also beautiful and we did get to enjoy a nice walk one evening before bed. We will for sure stay again and would highly recommend this place to others! The staff was amazing as well by the way!
The room was nice overall, but its unfortunate our issue was with one of the hostesses at the rooftop entrance for the NYE Celebration party. She was a brunette, hair pinned up, black dress with sequin top, maybe average height, and small frame; she asked for my fiancés card to pay, which he had the funds & it was crazy expensive to get in anyway but she came back and said his card was declined which was a lie. The demographic was not diverse & seemed a bit older, music wasnt real loud; maybe she felt we would be loud or unruly. After she said our card was declined the other lady said let them in since it was after 11pm but I already got a bad vibe and was ready to go back to the room. So whatever the reason we didnt get a chance to see how the rooftop bar was for new years eve.
We had a blast for my birthday/New Years up on the roof!! But, when waiting on our vehicles, we understood there was only one person. I gave him my ticket, 10min later, he comes FLYING around the corner in my car! I jokingly said something about him driving for nascar, but honestly I was super annoyed and upset that a valet would drive my car so recklessly. When he got out of my car he made a smart comment about how he drove my car and said he was tired. I understand he was probably exhausted, but there is ZERO excuse to drive someone’s car like that and to not even apologize. Totally unacceptable
This hotel was the best one I have stayed at so far! Staff was so amazing and professional! My fiancé and myself absolutely loved it! The rooms were breath taking and loved the cathedral ceilings! Bed was very comfortable! Valet was personable and efficient! They were on top of it! The vibe in this hotel is enough to stay! We booked an extra two nights because it was an amazing experience! We will be back!
New hotel with nice design. The river facing room had a great view and was comfortable. Price was slightly high for the location. Food service was very slow and some items not special(Strawberry shortcake is cream and strawberries on a biscuit). Shower would not drain well. Staff and bartender were fantastic and very nice! Location is very good! Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. There was nothing in the room regarding anything to do or see in the surrounding area. No Room service.
We decided to stay at the Hotel Indigo as part of a last minute anniversary trip to Columbus, GA. It was fantastic. The valet parking was super helpful. Check-in was easy. The room was perfect. The pool was great. But the best part was the service. Every person at the hotel was helpful. Whether we were at the bar, in the hallway, using valet or simply just using the elevator. Everyone was kind and generous with information and it made the stay one worth taking the time to write a review about. We will 100% stay here every time we visit Columbus, GA.
We loved the location, with a spectacular view of the Chattahoochee River. The rooftop bar was fabulous, as was the delicious breakfast.Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very nice and clean. Great value, hands down.We had a great stay, and we will definitely be back, when we visit our son in Ft. Benning.
The staff there is wonderful! All very personable. Great rooftop bar! Beautiful views of the river. Its worth the upcharge to get a river view for your room. I only gave 4 stars because the rooms do not get cleaned well. There were peanuts on the floor of our room when we checked in and you have to request cleaning if you stay multiple nights. Even then, its not great.
One my fave me time spots. Sean at the Front desk was awesome at check in and followed up after I put in a work order. The pool area is a great spot to read my book and catch some sun. You can also watch the rafters go on by on the river. There is a bar downstairs and they open the side door for easy ordering poolside.Housekeeping can do a better job on inspecting cleaned rooms. My bathroom had some nice size hairballs on the floor. I threw my pool towel on the floor to avoid them. Roof top bar has great views. Make sure to at least take a peek. Drinks are a little more on the pricey side..but treat ya self!
I’ve never met a Hotel Indigo I didn’t LOVE so the Columbus location did not disappoint! The room was sexy and contemporary, made for a romantic evening BUT the beds felt like sleeping on a cloud and we were fast asleep! We’d like to spend a few more days soon because we were exhausted and never made it out to look around. The staff made me feel like royalty. Just one hiccup with room service. Grits go well with cutlery so next time check it off your list. Having to get dressed to go downstairs (per the front desk) was not how we wanted to spend our morning!Otherwise, we will definitely be back!!!!
As soon as I pull up I am greeted by Danielle and Christian at the valet stand. Fast, friendly, professionals who make a great first impression. I arrived early and Ashlynn was able to accommodate my requests and give me a beautiful room. She was also the consummate hospitality professional my entire stay. I can be needy and I am particular but she always had a smile on her face. Brandee was also an amazing person to encounter. In the evening I would come down and she always remembered me and was inquisitive as to how my stay was. I like that. Gregory in the restaurant is also amazing. Im glad he is going to be in management soon, I am sure he will flourish with your company. This hotel is a gem. The friendly service, great location and decoration in the room are outstanding. My only area of advice...and this comes from someone who was trained by Leading Hotels of the World to inspect rooms at 4 and 5 star properties is to you director of housekeeping. Train your room attendants to look up. Most often they are focused on the surfaces that are at eye level and below. ie floors, countertops and tabletop surfaces. Train them to look at light fixtures, mirror frames**, and air vents. I dusted the dual mirror frames in 304 for you because I could have written dust me in the thick layer of dust. Also intake vents need to be cleaned. If thats an engineering thing, make sure those guys keep on top of it. All that being said I love this hotel, I live 20 minutes away and I will be back!
The entire stay was extraordinary! From arriving with valet as soon as you enter the property. The room took our breath away as well as the entire property. The food, drinks, and room service were exceptional. The rooftop was absolutely Amazing. I could go on and on.Disliked · NA
We flew in from California on a red eye with two tired kids. We were prepared to tough it out until check in. When we called to ask about early check-in the staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to use the pool and entertain the kids while valet assisted with our luggage. Our room was immaculate. The sheets were crisp and clean. The bathroom was perfect. We were greeted our whole stay with smiles and helpful staff. We will be back!
This is an amazing hotel, with first class treatment from the staff - Enough to earn our future loyalty. We came to Columbus to enjoy the rafting and zipline adventures on the Chattahoochee river. Columbus has done an admirable job of building up their waterfront tourism offerings. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated us as special guests. The room was large and modern, a spacious bathroom with separate shower and bath, and a view of the river through large windows. Water pressure was strong and Aveda brand shower supplies were plentiful. Coffee maker, fridge and a safe in-room. We got a peaceful night of sleep in a comfortable bed with perfect pillows. The city is very walkable, and the location of this hotel is ideal. Rooftop bar also offers superior views. We never got to the pool or patio, but they looked nice. Parking was easy, with local street spots or affordable valet. Easy check-in and check-out process, and a tasty breakfast on the morning we left. We look forward to returning!
This was a wonderful stay on the Riverwalk. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others. The staff was great and helpful. From valet during the rain and helping me with my bicycle as I was running the TriColumbus Duathlon. The room was beautifully decorated and super comfortable so I could eat at the table or lay on the chaise lounger on my laptop. Loved it!
Recently stayed at Hotel Indigo in Columbus on business and had a great experience. Staff was super helpful in planning our event, and it went very well. Enjoyed the nice location and views of the river. Hotel was brand new and nicely decorated, room was spacious and comfortable. Although we didnt have time to participate in either, the rooftop bar and pool both looked nice.
Fantastic new hotel in Columbus on the Riverwalk. Service and staff are really good and the location is amazing. Excellent roof bar - friendly and fun bar staff. Pool and restaurant on the ground floor also have nice views of the river. It’s a new place and they are working out some small things. Looking forward to a return visit.
From the moment we handed our car keys to Donald, the valet, we felt welcomed and appreciated as hotel guests. Ashlie, the front desk attendant, continued to provide excellent customer service by professionally connecting with us on a personal level, enthusiastically providing information about the hotel, and answering our questions about the area. We also enjoyed a pleasant exchange with Greg, one of the management team. Our clean and tastefully decorated room boasted a breathtaking view of the river. Although we did not eat at the hotel, we enjoyed drinks by the pool and at the rooftop bar. It is evident to us that the management of this hotel is committed to providing an exceptional hotel experience for their guests. We will be back!
If I could rate this Hotel 10 stars I would. It is located on the River which was a perfect for overlooking the River from our room and while dining at Restaurant The facility was clean and the staff was super friendly. The Front Desk staff went over and beyond to ensure we were accommodated. The Valets were so kind and took care of us. The Breakfast was excellent ☺️ Overall best vacation ever. I definitely hope to return
Very nice, clean, and modern hotel. Rooms are very clean with nice River views. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Valet is inexpensive. The pool area is very nice and overlooks the river. There is a bar by the pool and a rooftop bar/restaurant. It’s also close to lots of nice bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice fancy hotel with valet parking if you choose that that is closer to the hotel. If you self park, youll walk a good distance down the street into a closed parking lot but I didnt mind. Valet parking is too fancy for me anyways. Just stayed here at the hotel for a couple days & nice friendly service from the staff. Never did eat at the restaurant but did get drinks from the top floor that is PRICEY. Rooms are really nice and clean with a small fridge but no microwave or small stove sadly. At least having a pool makes up for it thats clean. LOVE THE SHOWER & WINDOW VIEW OF THE RIVER FOR SURE
Stayed in Columbus for a week to conduct work remotely during my daughter’s softball tournament with Junior Olympics. Hotel Indigo Columbus really could not have provided better amenities and experience. Very pleased with our stay. Staff is so attentive and courteous. Rooms are great. View is great. Location is great.
I decided to try this property as my usual choice of IHG properties was further away. Pleasant surprise and it reminded me of the boutique hotels weve stayed in before on travels.Positives: hotel staff was outstanding, the facilities offered everything, location was ideal.Negatives: my room needed repairs, my friends room needed repairs.I would like to recognize Brian at the front desk and the restaurants morning maitre d (unable to spell her name) as providing service above and beyond the required. The entire staff were pleasant, receptive and accommodating to a fault but these two individuals rate exceptionally well.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this wonderful property. I have stayed in other hotels in Columbus and was pretty “meh” about them. However, I am a huge fan of the IHG brand and knew that I would have a great stay! The concierge, Sean, - along with his colleagues were incredibly inviting and provided helpful tips about areas to visit in the area. The decor of the hotel was fun and hip. My room had fabulous views of the Chattahooche River and the Columbus skyline. I loved the decor of my room and the amenities. My bed was a slice of Heaven! I will definitely stay at this hotel again for my next trip!
Our rooms were not ready at check in time. The host had extreme difficulty checking us in. We stood at desk for around 30 minutes trying to get checked into our reservation. It was very unprofessional. Even the person that was called over to help acted like she could care less. There were no large trash cans on property to place food bags in. We were supposed to have 2 joined rooms or side by side and didn’t not. We were told at breakfast that our order would be ready in 55 minutes to 1 hour, when in turn after asking the chef it would only be 15 minutes. Everyone was oblivious to each other at this place. The facilities were nice but the staff could use some training. We will not be back. The price was extremely overrated for the service.
The entire staff at Hotel Indigo were amazing. They were extremely helpful and very friendly. The hotel was beautiful and nicely decorated. It was a dog friendly hotel but didn’t smell like one. The restaurants in the hotel were great but there is also many restaurants in walking distance nearby. The hotel was very quiet and I never heard anyone throughout the night. The beds are very comfortable. This is by far the best experience I’ve had at a hotel in many many years.
My experience started out rocky. They couldnt find my reservation and I had to walk because the parking was far away. After they found it the receptionist Sean was so helpful and kind he helped me with everything. I loved how friendly the bartender was and the atmosphere in the hotel. All of the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the river was absolutely beautiful. The hotel was gorgeous organized and cleaned and I really enjoy myself I cant wait to go back.
The overall breakfast was wonderful. However, the yellow grits were not what I expected. Would make the grits optional part of breakfast and save everyone some money. My tv cable selection was not very good. I wanted to watch the college world series and could not get the channel yet the guide indicted it was part of the lineup. Maintenance tried to reset but could not. Terry tried several times to reset but could not. Not because of lack of intentions. The valet staff was excellent. One time in and they knew my name and car. Service all the way.If I lived in Columbus the roof top bar would regular. The only negative was that I did not ask for a Riverwalk view.Without question, recommend Hotel Indigo in Columbus GA.
The hotel is nice. Decorated well. The view of the river is gorgeous. When we checked in, I needed a shower, but our shower drain was clogged. Waited over an hour to have someone come up and fix it. Evidently, based on the comments from the employee, it was a normal occurrence. Strange that new of a hotel has those kind of issues. Small things about the room seemed unfinished/rushed (paint, loose screws) Valet parking was nice. No room service even though their website says they offer it. The bar upstairs has good food. Our breakfast was so good. They were understaffed at breakfast, but the employees working were incredibly sweet. Overall, we’d stay here again. For the price, I would have thought we would have had a top notch experience.

We stayed at Hotel Indigo, Columbus GA Riverwalk, and loved it!!! Rooms were very appealing and comfortable. Whole property location had a hip feel to it, and all of the hotel staff we encountered were pleasant, accommodating and always wore a smile!! I would highly recommend this property. If there was one drawback, it’s the parking. Your only option is to valet your vehicle at $10 per day, which jumps the already high room price up. But if money isn’t a concern for you, then you want to stay here!! Also, walking along the Riverwalk each morning at sunrise was an added bonus!
We had an excellent stay with one issue that I believe will get ironed out. Its a brand new hotel. We are local and work from home, and wanted to do something special for Valentines Day to get out of the house. The Sky Bar is great and the restaurant food and service was excellent. Our only issue was that our beautiful room shared the wall with the Sky Bar kitchen and we heard everything happening in the kitchen until 1am. But the room, the view and the bathroom were fabulous, and the staff did what they could to help us. The bed was the most comfortable bed I may have ever had in a hotel. It was a great experience and we highly recommend it.
Obviously the roof top bar and the river front location are the draw here, but this is an awesome hotel! The room design was beautiful, with an excellent view. Something I always enjoy about Hotel Indigo’s is the incorporation of local history into the aesthetic and design. This room had a really cool vintage design “3D” map of the town on the wall behind the bed. And the room hotel hits the perfect balance of modern design. The roof top bar is a feature worth checking out even if you’re a local not staying at the hotel. This hotel singlehandedly transforms Columbus from an ok town if you’re passing through, to a must visit in GA. I had the steak frites at the roof top bar and they were delicious. Don’t miss the breakfast either. Top notch food all around!
Although short staffed, the employees available went above and beyond. Bar staff was amazing. Food at rooftop was excellent. Our room was beautiful!Breakfast was a fiasco. We had to ask for evey single thing. Table wiped, coffee, menus, utensils, everything . It became embarrassing after a bit. We left after waiting forever for a food item that was left off.Other than breakfast staff, great stay!
We had several rooms at hotel indigo for out of town guests that were attending a party. Everyone loved the new hotel and the location was perfect. Brian Williams and Ashlie Williams were a pleasure to get to know from the time we checked in to the time we departed. The staff was wonderful! The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. We will definitely stay again!
I stayed here the night before a wedding with on April 8th. The staff could not have been nicer, they were so sweet and helpful. For the price of the hotel and compared to other Hotel Indigo locations, I did not think it was worth the value. The views were amazing, but the construction seemed quickly finished and some important details were missed. We had some lighting issues in our room, the floor was slanted and the bathroom door didn’t shut all the way leaving a massive gap (it is a barn door). The details in the decor in the room were beautiful, but when we checked in the duvet on the bed was wrinkled and had not been smoothed out. It doesn’t seem like there is a way to park without using the valet which is a little frustrating as well. I wasn’t informed of an area and valet was not included in our room cost. The rooftop bar was beautiful, but the bartenders were not the friendliest and the drinks were a bit overpriced. Overall I wasn’t super impressed with the experience. They just opened so I do cut them some slack, but compared to other locations this one misses the mark.
Stayed here while visiting family and absolutely loved it! Its a new hotel that seems to have worked out any bugs. The staff is absolutely great - makes everyone feel welcome. They are friendly and helpful, willing to serve. Roof top bar is great. The restaurant is great. Love this place!
My friend and my cane here for a weekend getaway and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our room. Granted it is a new hotel, everything was so clean and well organized and the only reason I did not give five stars on every item is because there were a few Understandable glitches with just having opened and new staff learning the system. We would have liked to have taken advantage of the rooftop bar but it was filled to capacity with locals coming to check it out. Quite a few of us staying at the hotel were turned away as a result.Beautiful views of the river - very nice outdoor dining area just off of lobby.I do recommend staying here and plan to visit again.
From friendliness and attentiveness of staff to clean accommodations, this was a 5-star stay for us. Such careful attention was paid to the design and decor of the rooms as well. We could not have been happier with our choice in hotels while visiting our son at Fort Benning. If we are in the area again, we look forward to another stay at Hotel Indigo in Columbus.
I have nothing but praise for the new Indigo. They know how to do service! Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, courteous and willing to help. The valet for parking, the host at the front, lady at the desk, hostess at the restaurant, servers - every single person. We were visiting our son, who stayed with us in an adjoining room. We had some friends over Saturday night and the restaurant set up 2 large tables for us. Again, very polite, service was great. The atmosphere is great - going out onto the balcony and looking over the river. If we ever get back to Columbus, we will definitely stay here.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was an overnight staycation. Ashlynn at the front desk was amazing. Every time I saw her, she was so friendly. The rooms were so nice. It was just a very neat building with some really great local designs. There were only 2 cons: the door was not that insulated, so you could hear everything in the hallway....all night. The rooftop bar was so incredibly packed. Having it open to the public and being such an awesome place takes away from the guest experience. The guests should be given priority. We could not even stay/enjoy the rooftop restaurant/bar.
I stayed here Mother’s Day weekend. The staff was amazing, friendly, helpful and professional.I utilized the valet parking and the men were very helpful. My only suggestion is to put microwaves in the rooms or at least one on each floor. My daughter is health conscious and brought her meal preps from home. Each time she ate she had to get a staff member to heat up her food in the kitchen. That was fine but we would have rather has the convenience of our room. The fitness room was clean and offered a variety of ways to exercise. The view of the river from the room was peaceful and the highlight of my stay.Thank you Hotel Indigo. We will return.
The restaurant is nice. Some of the staff need more training in hospitality. Hotel needs at least complimentary water and coffee. Didn’t get to use outside amenities due to the rain. Hotel has lots of potential if managed correctly. Overall nice hotel but a bit pricey for the area. Great concept. I hope it is sustainable.
My husband and I stayed at the hotel overnight this weekend. We had some friends meet us at the rooftop bar. Great views, good food, and yummy drinks, but the server was rude and had no customer service skills. Afterwards, we headed downstairs to the lobby bar, where we were served by Jared and Mac. They made the whole experience much better, for us! Both were very attentive and had fabulous attitudes (keep in mind it was a Saturday night and the lobby bar was jam packed). You would have never known that, with such great treatment!
I had high hopes for this hotel being the nicest in Columbus, but it really missed the bar. Poor construction in the rooms caused bathroom barn door to have large gaps and leave no privacy. The beds were not made well and were wrinkled upon check in. Hotel desk staff was wonderful, but I was less than impressed by the quality of the rooms and the apparent lack of COVID cleaning procedures. The rooftop bar staff were extremely rude. The view from our hotel room was amazing, but for the cost per night of the room I would never stay there again. I’ve always been impressed with other Hotel Indigo location, but this one REALLY missed the mark.
My stay at Hotel Indigo Columbus was beautiful inside and out. From the moment I pulled up to valet, I was pleasantly greeted with a smile and brief conversation. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect. Next time I will stay longer so I can experience the rooftop and all.
The room was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom clearly wasn’t cleaned by housekeeping because there were fresh suds in the shower. This was not a showstopper. The views from the room are breathtaking, the room is very modern and eclectically decorated, And the bed was comfortable. The staff is very friendly and approachable and so is the valet. I would recommend the hotel get an ATM machine inside the hotel but I guests.
Cant say enough about how great this experience was! The entire staff did an incredible job! I have a lot of experience in the hotel industry and this place hit a homerun every time at bat! The valet was professional and very efficient. The front desk staff was attentive and professional. The room and the entire hotel was very nice and CLEAN! Rooftop lounge is awesome!
Was greeted by very friendly staff upon arrival. Hotel was busy, as a wedding was planned the same weekend. Roof top bar was very nice, but seating is limited. Food in the main dining area was a bit pricey. Overall a pleasant stay. Self parking is a challenge, lot isnt marked, and is a very long walk from the entrance.
Visited on their first weekend and it was still great. The food and service were remarkably good. The lobby is spacious and well appointed. The restaurant was cozy with an upscale ambience. I really enjoyed my salad and the wife had a very nice grilled fish sandwich. After we dined in the lobby restaurant, we rode up the cool elevators and visited the rooftop. It has an incredible view of the rapids and surrounding area. The atmosphere up there is fantastic too. It has swinging love seats, flaming tower heaters, multiple conversation areas, and a large well-stocked bar in the middle.I cant wait to bring some friends back there.Note: There is currently a lot of construction in the area. I am not sure how parking is supposed to work. You may want to park somewhere else and take a nice walk up the Riverwalk.
The hotel rooms are great and if you have one that is overlooking the Chattahoochee River (as we did) the view is spectacular. Front desk check in and valet parking was very efficient and the staff was excellent and very polite. View from upstairs bar is spectacular also. Food at both the upstairs bar and the Denim and Oak main resturant was very good. My spouse and I had the quail, sliders, and meat and cheese board at the rooftop bar. Had the blue crab brioche, and spouse had the brisket breakfast at brunch at the Denim and Oak. The food was very good. They need to work some waitstaff issues out as wait time after seating and between visits back to your table for food or drink refills is way to long. Once I told the manager though everything was much better. But to have the issue on 2 different days at both of the resturants shows more training or maybe changing the workflows are needed. Five Stars on Room, front desk, valet, and food/beverage quality. Three Stars on wait staff service at restaurants/bar (excluding the bar tenders who were great) Will be back and give them another chance as the quality of everything else was that good.
Stayed a couple of nights this past weekend to cycle the trails in the Columbus area. Was very disappointed in the room service menu (very, very limited) and the room service itself. A 20-minute order took over an hour. The floors, especially the closet floor, was dusty and there was still lingering construction dust, etc. in areas, including the closet shelf. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the location cannot be beat!
My visit was to just get me and my family out of the house for the night. I was not expecting it to be so great. My wife was shocked when I pulled up and stated “we staying here, I’m not dressed to stay here”. I didn’t know the quality of the hotel until I walked in. Very nice and helpful staff. Room was amazing with a great view. My family enjoyed it which brought joy to me. I will be back again for the experience.
Everything was perfect during this stay The Hotel staff(valet, front desk, house keeping) were great and very helpful. The Hotel was clean and very quiet and Peaceful. My room was near the rooftop bar and I was pleasantly surprised about the quiet and peaceful rest that we got. I will definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a top notch Hotel, and I will definitely stay at this Hotel every time that I visit Columbus.
Great staff. Due to a slow Monday, valet offered parking near the door. That was very generous of her. Room decor was really cool, but took a couple minutes to figure out the lights. Nice location, but you will walk a couple of blocks to get to the main pubs and eateries on Broadway. There is a Country’s BBQ and an Italian place closer than that. The rooftop bar has great views, but gets crowded (and this was a slow Monday). I would’ve hoped for a better selection of drafts on tap with so many good breweries around. I think they will get that sorted out. This place is pretty new.
My stay was very relaxing. Staff was great. I stayed in the Studio Suite I was expecting something bigger and more spacious. The Suite isnt a Suite. Breakfast was amazing, I went to breakfast looking to have just breakfast. coffee maybe some eggs. the food came and it was exceptionally delicious. I didnt see that coming.
The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room itself had cleanliness issues. There were hairs in shower and my telephone headsets was so gross (see pic.) The restaurants were very overpriced and my $10 soup had a hair in it (which they promptly removed from my bill.) The valet parking is a dirt lot.. kind of gross.
We booked a suite overlooking the river and were told upon check in that this was one of the nicer rooms and about cleaning standards due to COVID. Staff was friendly, but valet was slow. We found dry cereal or something under the edge of the bed very early in our stay, then the shower was not clean, and walls were dinged as well as dust on shelves. We booked this as a very nice get away and the room was noisy - we could hear people talking and lots of noises at night. Not happy with the price paid and quality received at all.
The rooms were very nice and the staff was friendly. The roof top bar is a happening place and beautiful. Has a heated pool overlooking the river. It is overpriced though for the location and the staff are somewhat lost at times, they are new. The restaurant is definitely overpriced! The food was just okay. My wife had scallops that were raw and had to be sent back. The server was excellent though. The location is great also for a view.
My friend and I stayed at Hotel Indigo in Columbus for one night. We were in town visiting The Bo Bartlett Center and Pasaquan (right outside of Columbus) - both part of Columbus State University. The rooms had great design and art - love the map of Columbus that takes up the entire wall. Rooftop bar had great views and great cocktails and food. Every staff person we encountered from the front desk to our server in the bar was very friendly, helpful and pleasant. I will definitely stay here again!!
We moved to three separate rooms when checking in. All three were just nasty, dirty. Not in keeping with the IHG promise of feeling comfortable and clean in your room.. I have stayed at several IHG properties this past year and this was the worst: dirty floors, hair in the bathroom, crumbs in the carpet, and dirty A/C vents. Housekeeping needs to be looked into. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who likes a clean room. Food and beverage staff where the stars here. Eat and drink here, but sleep somewhere else.Front desk tried to be helpful but they didnt clean the rooms.
I really expected to love this place... the setting is beautiful...and the hotel design is quite nice. I was just a little confused that our room was not cleaned and fresh towels were not replaced after our first night. Maybe its on me for not being more direct about it, but I guess I expected more given that the rates are higher than the average hotel in that area.
Beautiful hotel and great service. Sadly, it seems that the painters were rushed to finish since a lot of finishing details throughout the hotel were missed including paint splatter on fixtures, sinks & our room had paint on the ceiling from when the curtain cover was painted. I would also suggest for them to put a non slip map in the pool bathrooms since my son slipped and hit his chest on the door knob even with sandals on.
Great bar view the fish fries were good and I’m happy that they had chance IPA. They have a very sweet and gracious staff as well everyone is very nice! Also the interior design all throughout the hotel is amazing and different. ♥️ It’s a must go. Will be a great chill spot for a drink every week.
Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by valet. Check-in was swift and the staff was so helpful and kind. She offered suggestions for restaurant after I declined her suggestion for the rooftop bar. Breakfast was delicious and the hostess and waiter were exceptional. On top of that, it was a great value. Bed slept heavenly.
This hotel stay was BEYOND EXCELLENT!!! The bed was really comfortable. The showers are amazing I didnt wanna get out. The service tops it of the staff was really helpful and go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable safe the one staff member from New Orleans actually walked me amd my baby upstairs to our room which was amazing cause anywhere else they wouldve let me struggle carrying a baby and bags so thanks sir and thanks Hotel Indigo for the amazing stay
Has anyone been to the roof for food and drinks?? Please… put your bags in the room and high-tail yourself up to the bar and order something. I was about to make a list of other rooftop locations to visit next… but I was having so much fun with the people up there that I forgot the list. Maybe later. What a weekend.
This hotel just opened on Valentines Day. We stayed there because my daughter and son-in-law just had a baby and they live in the area. The staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was very large and the beds were extremely comfortable. We are actually planning on staying here again when we go back down to visit them!
In the time we live in I have questioned customer Service. At the time of my arrival until my departure, the customer service was the greatest I have experienced in a very long time. It was even clear to me that some of the staff had worked extended hours but only because I saw them a lot of my stay. Their attitudes never reflected exhaustion or anything other than pure joy. Great Job!!!
I recommend if you are ever in Columbus GA, only stay at this hotel! 10 stars across the board especially MS.Ericka the night manager. She was very professional, friendly and accommodating to my husband and I. They treat you like your at home and family. Excellent service! Food and music was phenomenal as well!
The rooms were excellent and the staff was friendly for the most part. The restaurant is WAY over priced for the food quality. My wife had to send her scallops back, they were RAW. My flank steak was okay, not great. The scalloped potatoes were nasty, GARLIC central! Just being honest here. I would not dine there again. The roof top bar is awesome and the view was spectacular. Note; If you go outside at night watch for the homeless in the shadows
I recently stayed at Indigo Columbus Georgia. I was there for a military ball that was being held at the Bibb Mill Event Center and my unit reserved a block of rooms at Indigo. First let me say that the rooms were beautiful, clean, and well designed. We loved them. The staff at the hotel was friendly and courteous. One of the reasons we decided to rent a block of rooms at Indigo was because of the wonderful rooftop bar. Unfortunately, due to possible severe weather and high winds, the staff did the right thing and closed the rooftop. It was the right call. What I think was not well thought out though was that instead of transitioning and allowing the bar inside to stay open later than 10pm, which is the normal closing time, to compensate for the rooftop closing, the hotel decided to keep the same hours and close that indoor bar as well. We were a battalion of Rangers from Fort Benning. There were at least 2 dozen of us and our wives and girlfriends staying at the hotel. Indigo would have made a killing off of our stay especially given the fact that Hotel Indigo was the only game in town and we were already staying at your hotel. Instead we all went upstairs to our rooms between 10-11pm and called it a night. A rather disappointing end to an otherwise great night.
My stay at Hotel Indigo was a great one! I enjoyed everything about my stay especially the excellent service and hospitality provided by all staff! Everyone was helpful, kind, and friendly and always asked if there was a anything I needed. The rooms were extremely clean and inviting, as well as comfortable. The food was great and I love the feel of the hotel as a whole! I will definitely be back in the future!
Hotel Indigo was exactly what wed hoped for. It was sleek, clean, and located right on the Riverwalk and at the entrance to the pedistrian bridget. It was walkable to tons of restaurants, bars, the historic district, some museums, and Whitewater Express. Additionally, every staff person we encountered was friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant and service at the rooftop bar were exceptional. This was a birthday trip and the first time wed been away without children in nearly 10 years, and it didnt disappoint.
I already wrote a different review but I don’t know if it posted. In short, the valet killed my car costing me being 45 minutes late to the event I traveled there for and a canceled uber fee. The smoke detector light kept me up at night. The rooftop bar’s service was so slow I was late to another reservation and the room locked us out before checkout. Not a good stay.
Dog friendly and great place to walk around. River is a fantastic view. Since we had a pup with us, it was hard to get any food. Ordered out and then one of us had to go get it. The hotel has two restaurants but cannot take pup. Outdoor spot for pup owners would be great. Also wish they had room service. That would have also solved the food problem.
When we made reservations, it did not state that it was valet parking only. We do not usually stay at places with valet parking only because we like to sightsee off and on during the day. It looks like a nice hotel but we decided to forfeit our night and stay elsewhere.
I stay here weekly. Sure the hotel is nice, clean, beautiful and convenient, but that is not reason I’m a loyal guest. I come back time and again because of the people, specifically Ashlei and Sean. They are both two of the kindest and hardest working people that I’ve met. The food and bev dept could take a few notes from those two on customer service 😉

2022-05-08Very nice, the rooms were spotless. The in house dining was lovely. A big shout out to Ashley (front desk) and Emily (restaurant manger) for their assistance. The hotel is conveniently located in uptown/downtown Columbus, one can easily walk to all locations in the area without driving. I would strongly advise purchasing the valet package if staying for the weekend and giving the valet’s at least 30 min notice when checking out as checkouts on Sunday get pretty busy.

2022-05-26The hotel was very nice. The staff were super friendly. We took my aunt to the rooftop bar for her birthday. The sunset views were beautiful The food was delicious, but a bit pricey. The food manager came to greet us. It was a pleasant experience. Ill definitely be back.

2022-04-19We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Indigo. Our corner king room had a beautiful view of the river. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was well appointed and clean. The service throughout was great, with friendly and attentive staff. The rooftop bar is a great place to meet for a drink. The location is convenient and walkable to the restaurants on Broadway. We look forward to staying again if our travels bring us back to Columbus.

2022-04-19We recently took a three day trip to Columbus for my sons military ceremony. We do travel regularly and always look for comfortable and clean locations to stay. We found the Indigo Hotel a great place to stay while there. The location was convenient and short walk to the downtown, the employees were helpful, polite and attentive, always happy to answer any questions and provide suggestions for the local area. The hotel was clean and well kept. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Both the restaurant and the rooftop bar were convenient and the food/drinks were great. The rooftop bar sold us on the hotel as great place to unwind at the end of the day. We highly recommend the Indigo to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Columbus!

2022-05-25I have visited Hotel Indigo previously for events at the rooftop bar, but I stayed there for one night on 5/20. The room was impeccably clean and had no signs of wear and tear--it felt more like a cute studio apartment than a hotel room. The view of the river from our room was lovely. The rooftop bar is a great place to get a good drink and enjoy the river view. Location is great and you can walk easily through Uptown Columbus. But where Hotel Indigo really got me to write a review was for their customer service. Everyone from the valet staff to front desk to housekeeping were truly excellent. I left a white shirt in the room and only noticed it after we had already checked out. I called the front desk the next day and they had found my shirt! I hardly ever misplace or forget items in hotel rooms, but these things happen to the best of us. In previous experiences they have never found my lost item. Not only did they find my shirt, but they had it boxed up and ready to send to me. Desirae, if you are reading this, thank you for your attention to detail! I was expecting not to see that shirt again. I will happily rebook at this location whenever I am in need of a staycation getaway. Thank you!

2022-06-25IHG was a good pick when choosing where to stay for our whitewater adventure! The front staff was pleasant and the ambiance of the hotel was very pleasing. Our hotel room was nice and relatively clean; however, it had a faint smell of a dog having been in the room. That was confirmed when we found dog hairs on the floor. I have a big problem with hotels that allow pets because some people sleep with their pets and arent very hygienic. If a hotel is going to accommodate animals, they should have a section of the hotel for that, not just use any room. Also, there was a mini fridge but no microwave so we couldnt warm up leftovers. Overall it was a comfortable stay, just think they need to do better with allowing animals in the rooms

2022-05-13I had a hard time finding a nice hotel in Columbus then ran across the Indigo. I paid a little more than I wanted to for 1 night but the room was beautiful with a view of the river! It was clean and comfortable and staff was very friendly. There was also a rooftop bar even though I didnt get to go. Definitely recommend!

2022-04-26If you are looking for a nice hotel in Columbus, this is it! This hotel has it all! Great location, lobby, restaurant, roof top bar, pool and great vibe! The room is also very comfortable! The bed, pillows, linens, lighting and shower were amazing. Sadly, you will hate the in-room coffee machine. It is terrible. They have nice kcups but the machine dispenses grounds in your coffee. Ugh. Luckily downstairs will help you with your coffee fix! Rooftop bar has a great view, delicious drinks and tasty bar food, don’t miss it!Wonderful employees to help with whatever you need. We used the valets and they were super fast and very professional as well. We walked everywhere! Great location just a few blocks off Broadway and felt very safe. I will definitely stay here again and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

2022-07-13The ambience, friendly staff and ideal location made me want to give 5 stars. The food was decent, but not quite 5 stars level. I loved my room and the cleanliness of the entire hotel was appreciated. Looking forward to returning and exploring more of the amazing history of this quaint little town.
