Gross gross. Walk in and the smell of cheap cleaners is overwhelming. Everything is worn down. They dont even turn the a.c. on inside the lobby, and its July! The elevators are dirty, noisy, and their floors need to be replaced. I have a non smoking room that stinks of cigarettes and that cleaner. Fridge doesnt work and is dirty. Covers dont look like theyve been washed in months. Theres also some disgusting substance on the hair dryer in the bathroom. I literally jumped back. DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES!
AVOID this place. I stayed a total of 8 minutes. After checking in, I went to my room, I saw a roach, then another, I went back to the from desk and asked for my money back, he asked what was wrong. I said you have roaches. The clerk told me there were no roaches in that room. I was shocked that he would question me. I said I saw three roaches in less than a few minutes and I want my money back. He said there is a 20$ cancellation fee, which at this point I was HAPPY to pay. The rooms smell, the hallways smell, and the room was nasty. The carpet was disgusting. The bathroom was nasty and obviously not cleaned well. I recommend if your in need of a room for the night, go elsewhere.
Bed bugs biting. Have to sleep with lights On!! No exceptions.Lady manager is the Worse..Talks about guests and trys to get over in Any way that she can. Complained of bed bugs and Ger response was according to housekeeper, that We must have brought them with us..Thanks for the Solution lady🙄
This place only gets one star for having good water pressure. Our experience was horrible. The walls have black mold. I leaned up against the wall and proped my foot up and it went straight through the water damaged wall. I was charged over a hundred dollars. We were only there for less than eight hours due to the remodeling being done in our own home. The microwave didnt work and we had to use one up front. I spoke with the owner about the charges to my card and she raised her voice to me then hung up. I do lots of reviews and I am always positive. However, this is thumbs down completely!
I absolutely would not recommend anyone getting a room with them . Their rooms do not correspond with their prices whatsoever .When I paid for a room , their sheets were not clean and had hair all in them. Meaning to say the bed caused me itch really badly. I will not be back , not even if I was offered a room for free. If they allowed me , I wouldn’t give them a star at all.
The rooms could look nicer especially for 80 dollars a night. A place built off of sarcasm which lightens the mood, but would I recommend to family or friend. If it was a last resort.
I went 03/27/2013 and unfortunately the website is NOT accurate. The service was poor, the room had bugs on the wall and the sheets had stains. I brought it to the clerks attention and I requested another room, no bugs but not clean. To my surprise, the clerk, requested I show him the bugs (as if i were lying) and when I showed him the bug, he says oh thats just a ladybug, and I showed him the dead bug that was already on the wall upon checking in and he insulted my intelligence by saying it wasnt a bug. He took the hotel key to scrape it off the wall and it flaked somewhere on the floor..in a state of shocked I asked him, well what was it his response was...I dont know but not a bug...after the second room, the clerk told me I couldnt stay there because my reservation stated a different amount of children. After looking at the policy, it states children 12 and under are free...my children were 9 and 7. Very disappointed, demanded refund, the clerk wasnt accommodating at all. I vow to NEVER go NEAR this facility or others like it. I wouldnt stay here for FREE...
Front Desk is very inviting and friendly from the time you walk thru the doors. They are happy to answer any questions you may have and make sure you are satisfied with everything before you leave the desk. The rooms are very well taken care of, clean and incredibly spacious. The daily housekeeping is very refreshing as well, they replenish everything you have used and make sure you have all that you need for the upcoming day. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!
WORST PLACE TO STAY EVER ! Found bugs in first room , second room they gave us was a Deluxe Room with a jacuzzi. Woke up ate up by BED BUGS AND PLENTY OF THEM ! Under the sheets and on the mattress . Place is disgusting ! I would never come here again or recommmend ANY one to stay here . Hopefully they give us our money back or Ill be back to write another bad review!

Last Inspection Was Over Years Ago. Theres Cigarette Stains And Burns On Furniture And Bed Sheets. They Should Bleach Their Sheets As Well.. Worst Place I Ever Stayed In.
We just stayed @ this motel and it was very clean. The front desk clerk Bonnie and her husband went out of their way to make our stay very pleasant. We will be staying here again the next time we are in the area. Even the maids were very nice and pleasant.
Staff was very friendly. Unfortunately the room was in dire need of an update. The mattress was very old, the pillows were flat and there were old fixtures still on the wall. The shower curtain was mildewed. Will not come back. It was a shame the breakfast room was not being used neither was the indoor pool.
This place is ridiculous. The staff (obviously family) makes you feel unwelcome at every turn. Your every move is scrutinized and expect plenty of phone calls directly to your room. You will be asked what you are doing or you will be scolded for farting too loud. We payed for the whole week or we wouldve left the 2nd day. Oh..and bring your own toliet paper because they will refuse to give you a second roll.
There was blood everywhere in the room, holes in the wall the size of bowling balls, the sheets were dirty and found hair and bedbugs in them as well, mold in the freezer and fridge, did not even come close to looking in the microwave. The only good thing is the soap smelled good. Also, there was a bloody handprint on the wall.
I booked a King size, non-smoking room for the night on the 2nd floor, but, I dont recall asking for a room full of bugs. Cockroaches, beetles, earwigs, ants, spiders, you name it, on the walls, floors, tables, in the fridge, and trying to crawl into my bags. Its one thing to come across a couple bugs, but 20+ bugs is way too much to deal with. When addressed to the front desk, the manager apologized but could not offer any resolve to the problem, except to block off the room after we left so that it could be treated. I found it very difficult to obtain any sleep with the sight of bugs all around me as I slept, and I did not appreciate its resolve at all...
It looks nothing like the pictures you see. It took us an hour to get get booked in, then the hall way smelled like 10 year old collard greens, the carpet inside of the room had blood stains like someone had their cycle there, the tub was so filthy that I wouldnt let a stray dog get in there, I pulled back the curtains and seen roots growing out of the wall. It was a waste of time and money please learn from what I say. Dont go there
Sign says wifi. It only works if you are standing on a chair next to theFront desk! ItCaused damage to my new $500 laptop. There is a pool but it is torn up! I dont guess they have vacuum cleaners or they just dont use them? I called my lawyer and he wants me to take them to court for false advertising. He is going there to stay a night and confirm my accusations. They will be paying me! Fix your problems people! Whats wrong with you!Sincerely, the future owner of this dump
The owners are nice. Room quality depends on which floor you are on. 1st floor is for VIP, second is for rif raf. Pricing is the same for both. Unlike most hotels, there is noextended stay discount when taxes begin to fall off. However, it is clear the owners are working hard to improve the facilities and provide a safe environment for their guests.
This was the most disgusting place I have ever been in! The manager gave my family a room that had two huge puke stains, he then gave us a different room where the refrigerator and microwave didnt work! I went to go complain about the room and he said he would take a look at it and he never showed up. Also we discovered a dead cockroach in the shower. The hallways smell like cigarettes. Im surprised that this place hasnt even shut down due to all the health violations! I dont recommend anyone to stay here due to the horrible staff and also due to very little sanitation.
My wife complained about the dirtiness of the room and the manager was mean to her. Later that evening when we examed the bed sheets all the sheets had peoples hair on then. We could tell from this that they had never been washed. I am very disappointed in our experience here and I think I have wasted my money. Do yourself a favor and dont come here. The manager I can tell has an attitude problem because he was yelling at someone when I walk by today.
Staff fairly pleasant, rooms decent size, and the local police vigilant thru the parking lot. I had gone to the car late eve/early morning bc of some family drama I didn’t want to impose on others and so not disturb anyone and while sitting there became spot lit by the local police. They ran my license and were checking to see if I was a guest in the hotel and find why I was sitting there. As imposing and invasive as it seemed at the time I applaud the diligence in making sure the area was safe. Nice to know I was protected by concerned law enforcement who routinely drive thru most nights. Overall I enjoyed my stay mostly because of the family I was there to see so thank you Magnusun for providing a much needed service.
If you wanna stay in a roach motel, this is your place. The manager pockets money, is rude to guest and just is super unpleasant in general. The cleaners DO NOT CLEAN. Move a couch and youll see. The stairwells smell like fresh urine and dont ask for fresh towels or absolute choas will errupt. I dont recommend

Trash. As soon a we checked in we saw a roach. The showers had dirt and mold. The beds were stained and had dingy sheets the whole place smelt like smoke and cheap air freshner. Do not go unless you just dont care about your life
Hated this hotel. There were signs EVERYWHERE dictating rules. A sign said no pets, but I signed a pet agreement. Several words were also mispelled on my registration card. There was also a sign that said no cooking and to keep my room clean. My room had a microwave AND refrigerator in it, but no cooking? The guy that checked me in was rude, barefooted, and it took him 7 minutes ro come to the front desk. I DO NOT recommend at all!
Very unprofessional. The doors are propped open. Thats not safe crackhead all over. Beer cans sitting in the ice machine area. My bathroom had cigarette butts in the sink and the air doesnt work
This hotel was very nasty ! Staff was very rude , and sarcastic . It was all false advirtisment , no pool , no breakfast . The elevator was nasty and sticky . The hallways smelled of weed . This hotel was trash it smelled of smoke and weed and found crack pipe and was geting ate up by bed bugs and the water pressure was to high and got up at four in the morning because they let them selfs in and by crack heads also the mirror was heald up by a small pices of wood ther was nastey stuff all on the bottom of the toilet there is nasty thots to. rip X. Okay can some please explain to me why when you check in to a hotel at 12 in the morning they still tell you check out is at 11 a.m. its not right nor fair for the amount of money you spend. We asked for a non smoking room and get to the room top blanket has burn marks on it. The t.v. channels dont come in clear and to top it off I know that a lot goes on at hotels but why do police have to be posted outside as soon as you walk in?
Rooms are decent but the WiFi/internet here is absolutely terrible. Cant hold a connection for more than 30 minutes. Having to use my 4G even though Im supposedly close to the Signal according to the Front Desk. You can forget about getting any work done. Or at least save often.

Ill never stay here again. When I opened the mini refrigerator I was greeted by some truly unwanted guests. The owner is rude & not helpful, I see why theres vacancy when other places are booked up. I wanted to leave right away but I just got in town & already paid $70 just for a couple hours. This place SUCKS!!!!!

I have stayed here at this hotel many times mgmt are great in everyway. And they are there for your every need no matter what the situation maybe so I highly recommend this hotel to anyone 100 Percent and its really clean and comfortable I wouldnt go to any other hotel but here and Im staying here as Im writing this .. Stayed at the Magnuson Hotel on my way to a business trip. Conveniently located off the exit. Check-in was prompt and easy! Nice, clean rooms with microwave and fridge. Will definitely stay again!

This hotel was the worst experience they have bad bed bugs, roaches in the rooms and hallways. The staff was terrible I told them about the problem and they blamed the people staying there...also crack heads in and out all day I wouldnt recommend anyone to come here

Good property for the price point. Keep in mind to pay a lot on taxes though. Front desk never answered the phone and there was a loud argument between to people my first night their 7/31/2017 kept me up later than I intended.

The walls werent painted and you could see patch work. The pool was empty, the halls stink, and the office staff just didnt seem to care about much.

2021-12-11October 2016 -March 2017 I stayed in this hotel for 5 months I was homeless in Lawrenceville. I cleaned my own room. And sometimes I mopped the elevator because it smelled so horrible. Once a week someone came to collect the sheets ended up buying my own. Ridiculously dirty place but when youre homeless you stay where you can afford.

2021-09-26I needed to get away for the night, and this place was closer to me. They charged me $90 for a nasty room that smelled so bad its absolutely the worst place even if you can make it someplace else, dont stay here. My ac didnt work the towels were dirty, and it just wasnt right at all; I couldnt even sleep, but I had no choice but to stay 😢

2021-02-03Non profit paid for husband and I to stay for a month. We had a emotional needs cat that was declawed and was trained on helping to detect when husbands blood sugar was low. Bonnie, the manager, made us call animal control of Lawrenceville and we lost our cat on Christmas Eve. She called us charity cases and knew we had no where to go. She also wanted to always come in our room to inspect everyday. The second floor wreaked of marijuana smell. Low down dirty and bug infested. Had numerous health code violations. My advice find a better and more compassionate hotel.

2021-03-05The place smells like a nursing home down stairs, the beds have bugs and when we told the front desk about it ahe told us we brought them here. The shower curtain had black mold on it and so did the bathroom corners. Me and my family itch so bad we can no longer stay here.
