Really great selection of menu items it was not too much but with great variations it was hard to pick just one meal, and kids items the chicken tenders were really good! The slider looked a bit small but the patty was actually very thick good size for a small child. Ended the night with great desserts that were super yummy! The ambiance was great plenty of seating and not overly crowded or loud. That is a bonus when our family is trying to talk and even got a few games of Uno in with the kids :) On arrival we were quickly seated and waited on. Definitely be back with our family. Perfect night with the family.
As first timers here in Savannah,GA on business. My wife and I wanted to try some where new and we were satisfied to the fullest. From our server Stephani. She was amazing. The setting was nice and the food was great. We recommend coming if you ever near here.
Great food. The pot stickers were fantastic. The grilled chicken nachos were equally as delicious. Only negative not much chicken on nachos.
Food was delicious. They were short staffed so we had to wait a really long time after being seated for a waitress to arrive. Then we waited a really long time on our food. And the waitress came and told us that our food had just came up but she noticed the portions were very small so she sent it back to be remade (if this is the truth then I appreciated the gesture) Im sure if they had been fully staffed they would have gotten five stars. Dont shy away from this place just because of this. Because the food really was delicious
We were in town for a quick vacay and was recommended to go here by the sweet ladies at the place were staying at. The waitress was wonderful we sat to the left side of the bar in the middle. People at other tables would not let her through. They were all around the tables I seen her asking to.get around and excuse me numerous times. They just ignored her that was not fair to her or the ones that she was serving. I got the meatloaf and beans with mashed potatoes. Jellie and Doddles got the pasta and I cant Remember what mom got. Mine was very good and cooked perfect the kids loved the pasta. They did not get a lot for a adult plate . When we left they were still hungry. When the food is good and expensive. Its bad when they did not get full. Maybe they were just running low on supplies it was later at night or the kids maybe were just starving!
Me and my wife dined in at this restaurant on Sunday 7/3. We ordered and when our food arrived, my wife discovered a ball of hair in her food. She immediately told the server who took the food back to the kitchen and notified management. Management never came to our table and apologized or said anything to us in regard to the discovery of hair in our food. My wife spoke to the server again in regard to no management coming out and addressing the issue with us. So, she said that she would speak to them again. After another 20 minutes we decided to pay and leave. It is very sad that the management at this establishment has no care for its customers that are dining in at this establishment. Training needs to be implemented for management on how to provide better customer service at this establishment. Thanks.
The food we ordered was good. Service staff did a lot more sitting at the tables in the back near the restrooms on their phones. There was left-over biscuits, gravy, and empty Hood orange juice containers on one of the large back tables. Place could use some TLC and cleaning. Restrooms need to be attended to, as well, and since there were only 12 patrons at the time we were there, I am guessing it wasnt the patrons that left the mess in the restrooms.
Had a great experience for lunch! I stopped in with my fiancé and we split the firecracker shrimp and the grilled Atlantic salmon. The quality of the food and portions for price were perfect! Restaurant was super clean and the service was impeccable! Will def be back!
The food and the service were great. We got seated right away and the hostess was friendly. The server came over immediately for our drink order, asked if we had any questions and made menu suggestions. The manager stopped by after our food arrived to make sure everything was good. I will definitely be returning here.
This restaurant wasnt worth the price. Our server was attentive but mixed up a few things. From the time she placed our orders, it took 30mins to receive our food. Normally I wouldnt complain however, they werent busy when we arrived. The hosts that sat us were cleaning up as it was almost closing time. One lady was sweeping up food on the floor near tables were people were still eating. Another young lady was emptying the trash from the restrooms and walked the bag through the dining area where people were eating. To top it off, all of their ventilation systems were covered with condensation that was dripping all over the floors. A drop hit my husband on the back of the neck as we were leaving. Their proteins were heavily seasoned with salt. We were disappointed.
I had my first experience with Houlihans at the Savannah, GA location while traveling from Fl back home to SC. It was a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was extremely friendly and sat us right away. We were greeted by our server, almost immediately. We started with the spinach dip (a favorite of mine) and finished with stuffed chicken and pot stickers. All hot and delicious.

The fish and chips comes with one piece of fish. Definitely had better. The burger was dry and the fries were soggy. They forgot our second order of fries, but I guess we didnt miss out on much. Very bland and not worth the money. If youre going to eat here, dine in. Youll save yourself all the extra fees in exchange for mediocre food. Absolutely reminds us of Applebees.
Me and my girlfriend Dani come here for date night before we go bowling and we love it. Never had any problems. The food is always good and the beer is always cold! Friendly staff as well.
2☆ for the great waitress we had but 0☆ for the food. I loved this location previously but this was a never again experience. Had the 3 course meal and the entree was entirely inedible. I didnt ask for a replacement. The green beans made me actually sick they were so bad and that used to be my favorite thing on the entire menu. Very very sad day.
I ordered online and received a notification that my food was ready 20 minutes after ordering. Got there 15 minutes later only to have to wait 15 more minutes. I had to ask 2 people where my food was and they seemed annoyed that I was even asking. I waited. I saw 2 brown bags in the back and I knew it was my food but I didn’t want to be rude and ask again. I was right. It was my food. My food that had been ready! The lettuce with the fire cracker shrimp was old and my shrimp weren’t coated in the sauce. Between the service and the 1hr wait I don’t see myself returning or suggesting this place anytime soon.
Waitress was attentive and friendly. Restaurant was clean. We ate outside on the patio since I’m not dining inside still, but I did go inside initially, and it was clean. The kale&spinach berries salad with salmon was delicious. Ahi salad was delicious. Chicken and avocado egg rolls were yummy.
Pretty good food. Some interesting and tasty signature drinks. Friendly staff. But they are perpetually understaffed and close early because of lack of staff. The food is not real gourmet of course, but it sure beats Applebees.
Good food, my fries were a little cold I told the waitress and the switched them out in like 30 seconds. Great service. I had the chicken parmesan, it wasnt amazing but it was pretty good me and my wife liked it. The apple dessert was very good.
Interesting place. From the outside place looks bigger then what it actually is on the inside. We picked through the appetizers. The crunchy cauliflower and shrimp were very good. We then decided to try the spicy chicken avoca rolls. They reminded me more of fried ravioli especially with the salsa that tasted.more like marinara. Overall place was ok. Drinks were definitely on the price side.
This is one of my favorite go to restaurants. The seared ahi is amazing, and the steak always comes out perfect. It’s a nice meal with a reasonable price tag. The environment makes for a wonderful date night, or dinner with friends or coworkers.I previously posted a one star review based off of the unedited hours posted online and the frustration of expecting this location to be opened, only to find they had closed hours before.A representative for this location contacted me and we were able to have a great discussion where this mistake was an accidental overlook which has since been corrected.
Mediocre food and service was terrible. Waited 10mins before getting drink order. We had 2 families in our party and got 3 desserts. My husband dessert was forgotten several times as we all ate ours. The taste of the desserts were delicious! Next time we will go else where.
Started out with the SHROOMS, wow is an understatement. The dipping sauce was amazing and they were fried perfectly. The presentation was lovely. Then I had the fish and chips, it was great....the tarter sauce was delicious. My husband had the stuffed chicken and it was amazing. For dessert I had the vanilla bean cheesecake. I almost hurt myself with it.... PHENOMENAL! Our server was Deja and she was the best. She gave us suggestions, kept our glasses full, and was lovely. Request her if possible, you wont be sorry. 10/10.
Food was slow to come out, and when it did was inedible. How can you screw up a turkey club? Ive never had one before where the bread is soaked with salty butter then grilled.Appreciated the response. Actually, the servers were not the problem, they were great. They offered us a new meal but we didnt have the time as we were driving from Port Canaveral Florida to Myrtle Beach. Totally understand the staffing issues restaurants are having these days.
Great location for locals and visitors to the Savannah area. Right off I95 and 204. Friendly welcoming hostess, servers and bartenders. Food is always good. Highly recommend. Seasonal outdoor entertainment adds to the uniqueness of the Houlihans experience.
Fantastic selection of food on the menu! Love all the different choices. Absolutely loved everything we tried and certainly will be back! Cannot wait to try something new on our next visit!
The restaurant was very nice. Located right next to our hotel. Very good location, we just walked over. The presentation of the food was nicely plated. But the food wasnt that great. The salmon was dry and mashed potatoes tasted like the night before. My cousin had the veggie burger and sweet potatoes fries. She said it was very good. Our server Mary/Maranath was stand offish. Didnt really have knowledge of drink specials that was listed as you came into restaurant. Kind of unfriendly, but courteous to a degree. We felt like we were bothering her. So to be honest, I would not recommend this place. But again, maybe we didnt pick a good time to go. We did brunch.Every server that I noticed looked like they just rolled out of bed. Jeans are ok, but both jeans and shirts were completely wrinkled. Very unprofessional. Forgot to take pictures.
Excellent! Friendly staff and the food was really great! Not much of a wait time so we were seated pretty quickly. Menu is extensive as well. Clean bathrooms too.
Stopped by Houlihans in Savannah and it was a wonderful experience. The food was amazing so fresh and delicious. The customer service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and so where the bathrooms. This was my first time and definitely not my last.
All of the food was delicious and even though they were short staffed you couldn’t tell. All of the employees helped each other out and remained calm, helpful and friendly! Definitely recommend.
Our food was mediocre. The food took quite a while to come out and then my order was wrong. The impossible burger was thin compared to others that Ive had. I asked for no cheese and it had cheese. The waitress did take it to have corrected but it took another 15 minutes before it arrived. I asked for condiments and never got them. My husband ended up getting up to ask for to go packets.
Service was good. Major issues with seasoning though. Spinach dip was bland, bang bang shrimp were extremely salty, and stuffed chicken breast tasted like straight olive oil. Wont return.
We enjoyed scallops with risotto and asparagus. Also had wonderful fish and chips. Great service and really delicious food. Highly recommended.
We just had dinner here and though the food was fine, the air conditioning vents throughout this restaurant had black mold as well as several inches of dust on them. I could handle the dust but the vent directly above and blowing on our table was black and disgusting. This is so toxic I can’t believe the restaurant is even open. The vent by the hostess stand in front entrance had black mold all over it as well. Please fix this. Not only for your customers but this is unsafe for your employees as well.
Started off with shrimp appetizer over a bed of cole slaw. Delicious!!!I had the 12 oz steak to go with mashed potatoes...wonderful!!! Stayed at the Ramada at Wyndham which was terrible, but thats another review.If youre in slowvanna at the gateway stop in. You wont be disappointed.
The food was good. The chicken parm was ok. The baked potato soup was really good. The ribs were falling off the bone. The pink elephant drink was tasty. Mac & cheese is a side you need to order. The stuffed chicken may not be for everyone. Overall it was a good place to dine with the family. John Paul was a great server.
The fries and baked potato soup, as well as the veggie burgers are great. The only thing to watch out for is that the bean and rice burger is quite soft so you have hold it and eat it delicately so it doesnt get smushed into oblivion.
Our waitress Mae was wonderful. Very attentive and polite. The food was awful. The fish in the fish and chips was dry & hard. The roast beef in the French dip was from a store bought package and the roll was not toasted properly. We wont be back. This is the 4th time weve been there and the 2nd time in a row that theyve dropped the ball.
We had a great visit on Friday night. The service was extremely efficient. We enjoyed the food and the dining room and restrooms were extremely clean. We look forward to coming back.

Absolutely horrendous. Food was not edible and way over priced. I’m normally not that picky but spent $100 and left 4 plates on the table with less than 2 bites off each. Undercooked food and just thrown on the plate with water/grease puddles under the food.Server was just as bad, and never asked why we didn’t eat our food.
Im local and this place is close to the house but I never really gave it a thought to go. Been twice and no need to go back. The cleanliness of the restaurant is subpar. No make that disgusting. The food wasnt that great and the service was lacking. Not because the bartender was our server but because like a lot of places, they are short handed.
Im usually not too picky when it comes to reviews, but they did a TERRIBLE job for my first time at this spot. Food was Super late, certain Drinks did Not get delivered...then certain Foods was Wrong on delivery for a 4 adult 2 kid party 🤔 😑 Do better!!!

Our food was magnificent. I had the salmon and asparagus and my husband chose the meatloaf dinner. It was all seasoned perfectly and very tasty.
Came in hungry, left hungry. The food was very good, we all scraped our plates. The service was really good. For 18 dollars for almost nothing, not worth it. Probably will not come here again
I review a lot of places like this and I have to say, it was very good. The service was great. The food was cooked just right and the prices were just right. And I would definitely come back. And I would highly recommend this place. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because it is due for some upgrades. The floor covering is somewhat stained but the metal place is very clean. Food is fresh. And I’m not staying in the area and I will be a repeat customer. Great place for a good quality meal.

It had been a long time since I was there, but to my surprise everything was fantastic. The food was on point. The service was a bit sketchy but with the employee situation its understandable.
Worst meal I have had in a very long time. Steak overcooked dry and tough. No beets for salad. Appetizer wings and sweet potato fries were good though. Doubt I will ever go back!
Great food, service and atmosphere. Bar with table service too. Unique mixed libations. Try the blackberry whiskey? Whiskey, ginger beer, and blackberries. Great combo.
Staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful meal. The place was very clean. My steak was cook to order and tender. They had a very nice bar area with tvs to watch the game. We will be stopping by again on our next trip.
Stuffed Mushroom appetizer is good, but the horseradish sauce was too mild. The steamed dumplings were also good. The drinks were delicious. The staff all wore masks. Sadly, the place was almost empty. Maybe 10 customers during the several hours we were there.
A friend said we should go. It were not a lot of ppl there for lunch time on a week day. The food was fair if a little bland for me and no salt or pepper on the table. I got the Fish-n-chips one piece of fish and some fries. Both had to have been frozen ....
A place like Applebees. The Houlihans burger w/ American cheese and bacon was excellent. French fries well done and Coke completed the meal. Good food, good service. 👍
The food was great. The service was a bit slow but it was a busy might and a few large groups that caused the delays. I would definitely go there again when in the area.

The Thai chicken wings are out of this world! They exceeded my expectations. I also really enjoyed the cran-apple cobbler. Yum, yum, yum!

Not impressed. Were not planning on ever going back. Weve lived in the area for 7 years and always said we would try them, never did. This was our first time going. The table was sticky. The waitress was attentive at first.The menu is very limited. The portion sizes are too small in my opinion for the the prices that they charge.Then the salad that came with my meal was on a bed of shredded lettuce and the ranch was nasty. My daughters chicken tenders were cooked too long.We also witnessed the waitress drop a rag on the floor, pick it up and then proceed to wipe down the table behind us with it, which makes me wonder about the rest of their cleaning practices. The vent over our head was leaking onto the table but our waitress was barely anywhere to be found. We had to track her down just to get refills.We noticed (presumably) the manager stop at every table and ask them how everything was, but she never stopped to ask us. She walked past us several times. We will never go there again.
This was my second visit to Houlihans, the first was not the best experience. However upon reading my initial review the management reached out to me personally and invited me back. They wanted another attempt to make this a good experience.My second visit was very pleasurable indeed. Service and food were both fantastic. I highly recommend the spinach dip appetizer. I would say it was the best Ive had. For my entree I ordered scallops, the flavor was great and the portion size favorable.I will return without hesitation. Thanks to the management for initiating my return.
Chicken was well over cooked. Salad the bacon toppings were like beef jersey but they had the best fries ever.
I’m curious if this place would be around if it wasn’t surrounded by hotels full of people that think this place is good but never come back again. What kind of place is it you might ask? Well I couldn’t tel you. They have Asian, American, Mexican, and probably more that I don’t remember. This place has no identity and probably very few repeat customers. I wouldn’t go back for the food even with the bonus hair my vegetarian wife found in her tasteless burger on dry buns. The chicken wings were very tasty but super small. Overall I give it an “ehh” rating.

Great happy hour with $2 dollar drafts and $5 app specials. The barkeeps are just so-so with customer attention and follow-up. All food follow-ups should be 2 minutes or less to make sure all is well. Food service 101, shame on management lack of staff training.
5 stars for the comfy booth cushions. And for the food, our server was friendly and mei made sure we had plenty of ranch for our salads!!
There very clean and good food and I got the Kansas City Burger and it was really good and we got desert we got the chocolate molikes All the food was very nice and tasty and I would totally recommend houlihans
I truly had a wonderful experience at Houlihan’s this past weekend. The service was apt, the food was delightful, and the ambience was great! If you’re traveling and need a bite to eat going down I-95, you should give it a shot!
We had the nachos. They were really good and big. We also has the chicken wings....we are very particular about our wings being crispy....these were great. We will definitely be back!
Nice waitress. So dark it felt like I was eating in a dungeon. Also, our table was in the bar area and the dishwasher for drink glasses was so loud and annoying I couldnt wait to get out of there. On a positive note, our food was fine.
Thats the small scallop plate for $14.95... The waitress did warn me it was small. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees arrived simultaneously.
Excellent quality food, friendly greeters, attentive waitstaff!! We highly recommend appetizers: spinach dip, mushrooms then stuffed chicken breast, & vanilla bean cheesecake. The only miniscule flaw was the ladies room, the mens room was clean. Will definitely visit again when in the area:)

This place is a sweatshop yall do not work here boh you will be worked to death. Especially during St Pattys weekend. I watched a female line cook literally overdose from heroine on saute station at this place and they acted as if this was a normal thing. I worked here a couple years ago asked for a raise got .15 cents an hour quit asap and never looked back. This place is trash all the way through. They treat there employees like garbage just thought yall should know. Ken was a manager here and he was honestly the only saving grace this place had.
It was meh. Had the pot roast meat was good, didnt really go with the carrots . They werent done right. Mashed potatoes and gravy really salty. Service was good. For the price I would have been happy with cracker barrel food was no better.

Food was great and service was excellent. Server was very attentive. We had the Atlantic salmon which was good. The only complaint is the portion size. The salmon piece was very small, broccoli was only a few pieces, and a smidge of mashed potatoes. For the price, the plate should have had a lot more food.

After a harrowing drive on I 95 on Dec 27 we arrived at Houlihans at 9:40.The sign on the door said that holiday hours from Dec 26--Jan 2 were until 10 at night.The hostess or waitress came out and told us they were closed at 9:39. When I pointed out the sign, she told us the sign said 9. (I can read and it did not) Really? Funny that there were a number of parties still eating.We asked if we could get an app to go, she said that they were out of food. Rude, untruthful, and certainly not service oriented.they were out of food.
Very nice place to eat. Staff is very friendly and prompt. I ordered the Buffalo Bleu Salad it was fresh and delicious...but the Bleu Cheese Dressing is the BOMB!!
Not a good experience. Restaurant was dirty, food was cold, and staff was not friendly. I’m surprised that the reviews are high for this location. Very disappointed. Kids commented that we should have gone through a drive thru instead.

Ive always been a fan of Houlihans over the years. This was my first time at this particular location because we were traveling. Our server was very attentive and as sweet as could be.We ordered a light, easy lunch because we were ready to get back on the road (We had already been driving for 6 hours with 6 more to go). So some easy staples such as chicken tenders for me, a veggie burger for my wife, and a kids cheeseburger for my daughter. Despite such a simple order, the food was delicious.Most of the Houlihans locations near Orlando have closed, and this only makes me miss them even more.
The dinner was pretty good, but the vanilla bean cheesecake was the star!!
Quick and friendly service, food arrived in good order, drinks kept filled, would definitely return.

Came here in reference to a really solid Yelp review. This had of been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in dining. It is one thing to be busy (which I understand, because I worked in the food service for 19 years) but we felt ignored by the server.I really wanted the chicken Parmesan but the server talked me out of it and I ordered something else. I should’ve realized that this was a huge red flag. Also at the same time, another table got up and left complaining about the server.We waited an hour and a half for our food. During that time, my drink got refilled once.The chips for the spinach dip looked like they were soaking in grease. The dip itself look like it was poorly executed with a layer of grease on top. When we got our food, my chicken looked like it was reheated in a fryer. My wife’s salad wasn’t all that good. My daughter’s burger was burnt.The manager made an excuse about a large party being outside. I didn’t see a large party outside when we arrived. The server made the excuse that he was trying. I’m sorry but trying would’ve refilled my drink.Thankfully this establishment is not available where I live. I have no intentions of ever eating at a Houlihan’s ever again.
The experience was trash. I don’t know if it was because it was the end of the night or just the service. The water tasted like it was straight out of the faucet. The food was ok not the best. I had high hopes for the restaurant but it disappointed. Would not recommend to eat here. Save your money.
The food was really good, our server was a bit short with us and seem to think that any request we had could not be done. The drinks were also super lacking on the mixer for them. Seemed strange to have to pay more for more cranberry juice.
The food was delicious. I really liked their fish taco and flat bread. Only downside was that we had to wait a little longer than I would have liked for the food to come out. I would recommend this place.
Slow service and dirty. The seats had old food and stuff stuck in them. The air vents were growing a plague of dust that was spreading across the ceiling. Longest lunch ever because we had to wait for everything from our drink orders to ordering to getting our food to paying. Will not return.
We liked the food here. I had meat loaf with a mushroom gravy and loved it. We were very disappointed with this places lack of covid protocol. Even though their website stated that all staff are required to wear masks, none were, and when I asked the hostess about it, she told me it was optional. Disappointing!

First time visiting this restaurant and I would say It was a good experience. The cleanliness of the establishment was impeccable. The waiter was courteous and the food was delicious. My only concern would be the wait for the food was a little too much. But overall its a good place. I recommend it.
We decided to go to this restaurant last night at around 8:30pm after traveling all day. We were seated quickly which was great. But we waited for over 10 minutes at the table and no one said anything to us. We watched as many different servers passed the table and said nothing to us or even looked at us. I can understand being short staffed and not being able to take an order, but it only takes a few seconds to acknowledge a guest. I cannot speak to the food as we left without eating since we never were acknowledged. We did let the three hostesses know and were told they were sorry.
All 3 of my kids (9, 8 & 5) wanted the kids meal with the hamburger but unfortunately, the kids burger was super Tiny (very, very, very small). They werent generous on the fries for them either. So, my wife and I had to give up parts of our adult entrees so the kids could get a meal. My 1 sentence summary: Not worth the money spent!
Very good cheeseburger. The place was clean and the waitress and other employees were very cordial and attentive. This is saying a lot considering the ongoing Covid saga. We have been there before and we consider it a good meal stop on the way to Florida from North Carolina.
Very friendly,good quality food! The spinach dip is the amazing! Slightly absent waitress although it was memorial day weekend so it was pretty busy. With that said we walked right in and got seats immediately.

Extremely disappointed. This was my first time in the area and the restaurant came highly recommended. We were a party of 3 and there was a 45 minute wait. After being seated, there was another 20 min wait. We had to flag down someone to ask where I waiter/waitress was and when we would be able to order drinks. We were told that our waitress would be coming shortly and in the meantime the hostess in the front would take our order. In the meantime, a glass was dropped by the waitress and it took 15-20 mins of servers and guests stepping around it before it was cleaned up. There was no signage to indicate wet floors. Eventually, we placed an order for our drinks and meal. We received our drinks (from the hostess) and our “original waitress” never came to the table. We waited an additional 30 minutes before our first course was brought to the table. We order food for one child that never came, so our child would have ended up watching us eat if we would have started our meals. Our appetizers were cold once they were on the table . At that point, we decided to leave and were told, “ Sorry guys it didn’t work out this time.” There was no resolution and we were left frustrated and hungry.
It was a meal. Dont go in expecting white glove treatment. We were just another face in the crowd to both the bartender and our server at dinner. I am not reflecting on Houlihans in general, just would not go back to this location.

The service was absolutely awful. Every single person that works there (including the manager) never smiled once. Never checked if we needed anything and scowled if we asked for anything (napkins).
Place was nice and clean, service was good. The food was bomb, it was hot, fresh, and well season. I had ribs, broccoli and sweet potatoes. Hubby had lemon pepper wings with this bomb azz stuffed chicken with some amazing cheese cake. We will definitely be coming back again.
This place has great food i order the margarita flatbread all i can say is oh my goodness. We order margarita drinks the burgers are moist and juicy i had grilled chicken salad. Awesome. 😘
Really liked the place, but then again, I like anyplace with food so. Friendly atmosphere and staff. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area. Food was very good and our waitress and host were super nice and understanding. I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
My fiancé and I placed a take out order:. We got Thai wings appetizer, the meatloaf, the Kansas City burger, brownie batter cake and creme brûlée. Everything was cooked to perfection! I didn’t eat anything until I got home (an hour away) and our food tasted just as good as it does when we dine in. The food was placed in the boxes so neatly, the bag was well packaged, and even though I was just a Togo order I still received good customer service. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants!
It was a convenient stop off I-95 in Georgia for a sit down lunch and a chance to take a break.The food was ok, nothing spectacular but still good. However, our waiter was excellent and very attentive.

Usually wen I come the servers arent very polite but the food is good do I make an exception. But this time was the last straw I come the place is always empty and there was servers in the back corner eating and talking do I had to wait a good 5min jus to be sat. Wen I asked for the Parmesan fries they were so rude about it not being on the menu any more. Barely saw the server instead they were playing with the dust build up on the windows seal. Wen the food came out the girl only brought out 2 plates wen we had 3 items so we simply reminded her we had something else and the girl said well dont I only have 2 hands. To top it off my wings were bloody from being under cooked. I asked yo have the last few remade no one ever apologized about it and they gave me the save og wings I have them and only recooked the one as if I couldnt tell the difference in the temperature. This place is never busy its really no reason for them to be in a mad mood ALL the time

First time here 6/18/21 - Our waiter Neigh was SuPeR! What a charismatic and polite young man. Great smile and a voice fit for professional broadcasting! We asked for recs and Neigh said we could not go wrong with the Chicken Nachos so that’s what we had. He was right! Very good! Best chips ever and portion was enough for multi people. Neigh was very attentive, atmosphere was pleasant and clean facility. Prices good as well. We will be back for sure. : )
Scallops were good although a bit skimpy for the price. Husband ordered ribs but the waitress came back to say they were out. He got the chicken fingers, they were good. It was an average experience.

Excellent food! Start with firecracker shrimp. The French onion soup fabulous. They even blackened the chicken for the chicken alfredo. The crime creme broullette is delicious. Service is great. The chef really knows how to prepare excellent meals
Conveniently located next to several hotels, the restaurant has a pleasant interior. Warm colors and fabrics offer a relaxing feel. The staff were attentive and seated us quickly, offering a choice of seating. The waitress was also attentive and brought drinks quickly. The menu is fairly extensive, offering seafood, a few steaks, burgers and some other staple foods. They advertise their stuffed mushrooms as a house favorite. We tried them and they were very good. The burgers were cooked to order and tasted great. Presentation was typical for a neighborhood joint. Overall, very good place for food and drinks.

We walked in a 9:20PM after a long day of driving and were seated and waiting for the waitress to bring out some menus. Instead she walked out and informed us that the manager decided to close early and that we would not recieve service. We, as well as others, were told to leave the premises. Their website says theyre open until 10PM. We were already seated. Not happy.
First time in over 20 years at a Houlihans (not many around). Was worth the stop coming home. Had the Kansas burger 🍔, very good. A side of Mac&Cheese made it a perfect lunch.
Always a awesome choice when looking for a great lunch spot in Savannah. This time we had So Cal Fish Tacos and Chicken Wrap. I still think Houlihans has one of the best fish tacos around. Fun atmosphere with a great staff! Its clear they are passionate about what they do, well be back again!
This menu has dwindled from the Houlihans I knew in the 90s. I was traveling from FL to NC and saw this off of the highway and decided to stop. Its not as upscale as remembered. Its more like an Applebees Grill now. The menu is a little limited as well and the bathroom needs some cleaning and upkeep. The people who brought out my food were not wearing masks and were somewhat talking over my food. I didnt realize how uncomfortable I would feel about that but it was quite discomforting. The food is okay. The restaurant could use a little sanitation.
Had the best food along with a smile! The place was busy and it was our first time, but our server, Madison, made sure to not let that affect our dining experience! We also loved that we called to check the wait time and they offered to put our names down for the wait on our way. Yay!

This was the worst service Ive ever had here. The hostess seemed annoyed she had to seat us. The waitress could bare to even smile or ask how we were doing. The chicken wings were raw, so the replaced the 1 she but into instead of the whole order or comping it and the manager was unconcerned. No one even offered an apology for the inconvenience. The hostess brought our food out, when she walked away I reminded her we also ordered fries, her response was i only have 2 hands. The 3 stood around laughing with each other & didnt bother checking back with us throughout the meal, I had to yell to get their attention. I wont be returning without a proper apology and comp.
My husband and I ate here for the first time last night. We enjoyed our meal very much! The mushroom appetizers were amazing. I was impressed with how serious they were concerning Covid-19 preventative measures. The staff wore masks and kept their distance. They were constantly wiping down door handles, too. Our server, Jenn K., was phenomenal (request her and tip her well- she deserves it)! The manager was very pleasant, as well. We will be going back!
Great service and drinks and foodWe had the scallop dinner and the presentation, aroma and taste was a lot better than we expected. Being raised on the coast myself I know my seafood. If you are not allergic to shellfish, I highly recommend it.We had the guacamole appetizer and was very pleased with it. The salsa left much to be desired. Overall atmosphere was comfortable and pleasant.
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything came out at the perfect timing and was cooked perfect. Only issue my husband and I had was our service. We had to wait for refills, our server delivered an empty bottle of steak sauce and my husband actually had to walk over to her and get a new one. She never asked how our food was let alone visit the table other than to pick up a dish. Great food with a good atmosphere but the wait staff needs and attitude adjustment and our server probably could use to be retrained. I am a server myself and I try to give the service I would want when dining at a different restaurant.

Decided to try Houlihans because Cracker Barrel was a 45 minute wait. We were seated right away and we were not disappointed! Great service and the food was amazing! We can highly recommend the turkey club and the fried chicken breast sandwiches. Our server Grace was friendly, efficient, and very helpful with recommendations as this was our first time here. For a family of four with two kids we spent approximately $50.00...I can say if we happen to travel this way again Houlihans will be on our list of places to eat. If youre traveling expect to spend at least 45 minutes here but the food is worth the wait!!
Been a customer since 1991 in the DC area. The manager at the Savannah location walked away from me when I told her we specifically decided to eat there for dinner tonight so we could order a drink because we wanted to purchase the monkey mug. She refused to sell one to me. Said there were only three left then walked away while I was talking. An employee told me customers were stealing the mugs. Not my problem. We just ordered dinner. Walked out. Bad form. Lost me as a customer.

I truly loved my experience tonight ❤.. I had SaNiya, and man she is an extraordinary waitress. She didnt allow us to want or need for a single thing. My daughter said some nice about her to the manager Meghan. To begin talking about the manager, beautiful soul she is. I even have had Michelle before, and impeccable is short of praise. We also had the privilege to be served by Ceandra! She is a true doll. I just over love these ladies spirits!! I love eating here and will continue to come once a week.

The food was fantastic and the whole dining experience was exceptional. We were pleasantly greeted when we arrived and our server made us feel as if we were family. My wife is vegetarian and loved the impossible burger with sweet potato fries. We will definitely be back the next time that we are in town. Great drinks too!!

Lisa is the best bartender! The food is average, but sometimes I crave their french onion soup, fish n chips, or scallops. I like the range of foods on the menu. Their house made tarter sauce is the best damn sauce Ive ever had! Im a regular for these reasons.
My first time to a Houlihans. Service was terrible. Sit for 10 minutes before our waitress even came by. And that was only after I made a comment loudly as the manager walked by. Took 45 minutes to get a beer. Had to get table settings from other tables. There was7 in our group. Food was small portions. Will never go back to this location. Very bad first impression of this restaurant.
Nice outdoor patio allowing for social distancing. My husband had the Kansas City steak which was excellent. French dip was so so. Prices reasonable. Be sure to check in with hostess to expedite service.

Went there in August before school started for a small vacation with the kids, stayed at a nearby hotel and this was a restaurant we visited. Loved every bit of it, atmosphere, staff was perfect! I wish there was one in Aiken, South Carolina!!
Went to your restaurant tonight. Entered the door at 9:30 pm and the hostess told us the kitchen is closing. I asked her what time they closed. She said 10:00 pm. Your web site said you close at 11:00 pm. WTH. We love to eat at Houlihans. We have eaten all over. Wanted to try your place. Well I don’t think so. I have been I the restaurant business. Your kitchen never closes before you restaurant or you have lying staf. Go figure. What else could they be doing. As an owner or CEO you need to check this out, or you have poor management.
Terrible over charged for things we never got food took 2 hours to come out absolutely awful...And was only about 1/4 full
Dislikes:- waited 30m to be seated when told 15 even though the table was already empty- took 30m for our order to be brought to us completely after multiple corrections- took 10m for the waitress to bring our check after we asked for it and an additional 10 to come back and pick up the payment after passing is 2x.- waitress kept walking around far from us and not helping when we made it obvious.- one of our group has 2 food allergies we made clear form the beginning, however they were still served with one of them included.Likes:- The food and drinks were great.- Waitress was friendly and courteous.

2022-06-10My food was delicious. I really enjoyed the salmon, string beans, and asparagus. I don’t eat anything white so the mashed potatoes had to go. Didn’t order but I guess they just wanted to give it to me. Customer service was also good and very Pleasant atmosphere.

2022-03-06We enjoyed our dining experience here. It is a nice dine in restaurant with booths and tables and there is some seating outside also. We ordered the Firecracker shrimp which were very good, the chicken parmesan, and the shrimp pasta. All the employees were very nice and we had everything we needed. They even stored our birthday cake in the fridge while we ate.

2022-05-22We had our end of the year PTO meeting here and it was a great experience. I had the fish tacos. Very fresh and tasty. The firecracker shrimp was delicious. Filet was medium rare, cooked perfectly. Staff was very friendly. The bathroom was out of toilet paper but they addressed it immediately. Will definitely be back.

2022-06-09The loaded baked potato soup, the Créme brûlée, and the Brentwood chicken sandwich was the absolute best things out of our meal!! Husband got the classic Kansas city strip w/a loaded baked potato and Mac and cheese (it was rather bland & unseasoned), I got the stuffed chicken breast with a house salad and Mac and cheese (it was ok, but was missing something in my opinion) daughter got chicken strip plate w/ fries (just your average chicken strips 🤷🏻♀️). Both my girls got the brownie batter cake with ice cream (you have to ask for the ice cream it doesnt originally come with the brownie), the brownie cake is extremely RICH so I definitely recommend getting the ice cream with it!Overall it was a good experience and our waitress was great, Ms. Dejá (not sure of spelling)!!

2022-01-06Fist things first, our server MARIA earns SEVEN stars from my wife and I. I had the 12oz Strip Steak and my wife had the Pot Roast. THREE Stars for the Strip, which was perfectly cooked to the medium rare I ordered and the flavor was exceptional. However, the cut of meat itself was sub-par as it was very tough and chewy, edges were solid gristle and as a result I was only able to eat half of the steak. My wifes Pot roast was beyond perfect! I ate alot of hers when she was in the restroom.😉☺️

I asked for a old fashion and i dont like the whiskey on it and i asked if can i get one with different whiskey and she ( short blondie ) (pretty smile) 😍 makes a new with no problem at all. 2021-06-12Houlihans is a good place to take the family for a meal. We did enjoy our food. We order dumplings and it came with one less than what we were supposed to have so they gave it to us on the house which was nice of them to do. The rest of the food came out great. We enjoyed ourselves.

2022-06-10We were there at the end of May and were delighted that they had outdoor seating! The food was great! Heads up - if its just 2 people, dont get the large order of fried mushrooms! They were delicious but way to much for two people! The wait staff was attentive and very friendly! We will definitely be back!
